At least 2 things that stood out to me from the bilibili video linked here (other than the codes she also deciphered)

>mentioned the white doves in the photograph, could be taken at the basketball court in the late afternoon. Hence the white feather (she does further explain the white feather falling as a common metaphor in film but I'll add that when I have time to summarise her points properly)

>Vein pointing his gun at Lu Guang indicates him as his target (my own addition: think the first line in Vein's song: 谁被我瞄准，子弹正中心脏 (roughly: whoever I take aim at, gets a bullet in their heart)). What if, Cheng Xiaoshi takes a bullet for Lu Guang just like he did for Qiao Ling? (And thus, Lu Guang metaphorically gets a bullet in his heart)

>all the hidden codes during the afternoon tea/blonde lady scene reference a disaster, likely that one frame of the burning building. The lady was likely involved in it somehow, perhaps along with the other characters from yingdu, and was most probably the survivor(my own addition: what if the code suggesting that there was more than one survivor refers to Cheng Weimin/Xiaoshi's dad?)

False Memory, series version, confirmed 2025 release

I am making this post because False Memory just released its new trailer and I am very much so looking forward to it! The series started as an indie short before growing into a bigger thing, much like Fog Hill of Five Elements and The Legend of Luo Xiaohei and Alita’s Trial. We’ve thus been waiting a couple years for news so this is really exciting, especially after it recently got a Twitter account!!

Scissor Seven, another one that’s had its newest season out for a while now, but I assume that for those who have Netflix, it hasn’t been officially English subbed or dubbed yet. We’re also still getting trailers for its game!:

Yingdu is a prelude to the main series and is only going to have a substantial impact on Lu Guang (if this happened in another time line only).

That means that everything we've seen thus far from Lu Guang needs to be reconsidered in a new light. When he was anxious and insistent for Cheng Xiaoshi to not deliver a warning to the residents (and importantly the boy's mother) in the earthquake dive, was there another time CXS tried to protect others (especially family) from an unavoidable event? Very likely. Just what happened in Yingdu to instill even more caution and fear in Lu Guang?

Link Click is known for making us reconsider past events when given new information, it's the basis of most their dives and the biggest example is the last line of S2 WHICH MADE US REFLECT ON 2 WHOLE SEASONS OF CONTENT, THE OP AND ENDINGS (like the fact that Dive Back In Time is actually from LG POV not CXS as we first thought).

I'm really excited for the arc and staying clear of spoilers/discussions as it airs so I can watch it in one go (I do not need the cliff hanger waiting thank you very much).

Edit: Honestly more information might just make us feel worse (more upset) about certain events. Like Cheng Xiaoshi waiting for his parents to return. If Lu Guang knows something about them that he's been withholding all this time (how would he explain to CXS how he acquired the information without making him seem suspicious/telling half the truth?) that will just make his information hoarding a whole lot more painful and the eventual reveal and parting more severe (and we already have foreshadowing of the split up from the noodle dive in s1).

"bittersweet" is my favorite kind of storytelling so I am. a little bit obsessed with the yingdu arc op. like, what the fuck lu guang. LU GUANG. the perspective, the implication that maybe we're actually more than a handful of dives in, the yearning and grieving and hope. it all goes back to that basketball court.

I am sooo excited for yingdu arc specifically because there were two things in season 1 that I really wanted to know when I first watched it in 2021: what the fuck was up with this image of lu guang in the basketball memory with his face all fucked up, and what happened in their overseas trip three years ago that qiao ling mentioned? the show never told us what either of those were about. never elaborated on them.

and now, finally, the S2 finale and yingdu arc op is circling back to this. lu guang dived back in time to the basketball scene. lu guang and cheng xiaoshi were in london and some shit went down, possibly resulting in cheng xiaoshi's (multiple) deaths?

I waited three years for this information to come to light, and we're finally getting it on friday 😭😭😭
