Just finished reading my newly obtained Last Ronin Revolution comic!!! AAAAGGGGHHH CLIFFHANGERS MY WORST ENEMY (next to tape and boxes and people walking slow in front of me) Yi is my favorite character/turtle so far (probably because she’s the most like Donnie, lol). My dad was like “which cover do you want” and I knew I wanted the video game cover immediately. Anyways, I won’t say anything else to avoid spoilers 😊

Hiiiii, this is a cheeky lil fic I HAD to get down when I got this idea. By idea I mean URGE to write for this man because holy smokes mans is FINE. I hope I did his character justice, hope all the creganwives™️ enjoy this. Reader indulges in cunty behaviour (not smut) . Pairing: Cregan Stark x reader

Summary: The new Lady of Winterfell needs to spar, but Cregan is in zone. He ends up in awe and even more in love.

Warnings: Swordfight? Violence but no blood. Use of the word bastard.

“My lord.”

The Lord of Winterfell does not hear your voice, enthralled in the dance of swords he is currently partaking in. He is stripped of his thick fur coat, but the loss of bulk does nothing to diminish his muscular figure as he lunges, parries and moves easily. He fights with the ease of a practiced soldier as snow flutters in the air. It is too easy to become enthralled with his arms, his brows furrowed in concentration, the sounds released from his mouth, accompanied by small clouds of warm air that disappear in seconds.

The courtyard is covered in a thin layer of snow that crunches only softly in the early winter morning. A few other men spar in pairs scattered farther from Lord Stark and his cousin. You stand beside Sara Snow, the beloved bastard of the keep, after waiting for the match to end. She turns, studying your face and how your eyes track the fight. Your annoyance at not being heard becomes more evident by the second.

“He will not hear you, not even if you shout.”

“I really should have flown with Narion instead.” You could’ve been soaring in the skies on your dragon by now, but no, you are waiting for your husband to notice you.

She laughs at the regret in your face before saying humorously: “But sister mine, the men have yet to witness your skill with the sword. It is time they see their Lady of Winterfell as more than just a Velaryon with a pretty face and terrifying dragon.” Her words become serious at the end as she turns to look at the men around her.

You shake your head, and unpin your cloak to reveal your sparring leathers underneath and the sword sheathed in the belt around your waist. “Well, I perhaps this will get his attention,” you say, quickly tying your Targaryen hair with a leather tie and stalking up behind your husband. Cregan’s opponent clocks you in a second; his shock gives the Lord the perfect opening to defeat him.

“I yield! My lord! I yi—”

“Cregan.” Your cool voice cuts him off as the auburn haired Lord of Winterfell turns in surprise, a smile on his face, about to sheathe his sword when—

You attack, he brings up his blade last minute, letting out a noise of surprise as you continue your unrelenting assault despite him not attacking. He backs up slowly, still parrying and dodging when you speak in between swipes and thrusts— “Fight me, my lord.”

He cocks his head, and grins. Cheeky.

The effort is balanced now, your swords clanging and screeching in the abrupt rythm of blades and stamina. Your vision becomes locked on just the two of you and your sword becomes an extension of your bones, parrying, twisting and thrusting. Cregan is just as invested, perhaps more so, and you both feel the moment your movements become almost synchronised; an intimate dance to which only you know the moves. Your breaths mingle when your swords cross and you resist the sudden urge to kiss him— and suddenly there is a small crowd cheering you on as your feet create a mural of tracks in the snow and your heartbeat is in your ears an suddenly there it is—

A gap. A pause.

You twist your sword in one quick movement, duck behind him, and he is on the floor with a pained grunt, sword a few metres away in the snow, you straddling him with your sword to his neck. The noise of the watching men and Sara rises in triumph and surprise. Your eyes land on his and your heart stutters. His gaze is dark, almost half lidded with desire and adoration.

“My lady.” His voice is low; only for your ears.

“My lord?”

“You,” he manages.

“Me?” You reply, grinning, head cocked to one side.

“You.”
