What's your favourite headcanon of something that happened in the Impala?
Not a specific event, but I often think about them having loud, unapologetic car sex especially in the early seasons/preseries! Its canon that they would hustle pool to scrape by so I think a lot about them, like, playing into the stereotype that they’re just good for nothing fags at these dive bars in small towns (letting people talk shit and act tuff and what have you) and then wiping! the! floor! with every last guy in the joint and making them look like idiots in front of their friends before going to the parking lot and making sure everyone know’s they’re fucking nasty lol
I’m talking Baby bouncing on her shocks, windows cracked so their moans carry, gravel crunching with the force - just to twist the knife a little for them. Also I imagine everyone walking back to their cars either calling them slurs or very pointedly looking at their feet and walking by quickly, pretending its not happening (i cant tell which is funnier)
I have a fic in the works about this, I just think its so much fun to imagine idk
Thank u sm for this ask !! I’m having so much fun reading everyone else’s hcs about What Happens In Baby and it’s definitely inspiring me to write more 🖤

For Tuna
Summary:Grim does some interviews to find the perfect sugar dad for him you gn!reader x all boys in one way or another.
A/N:I haven't unpacked my tag list yet, so hopefully this is everyone!
Part Two Part Three choose your ending...
"Grim, we can't afford the bougie tuna. Put it back."
You'd missed it before when you were loading your basket at Sam's shop, but Grim had snuck in the expensive tuna. Now you were at the counter, trying to hide your embarrassment as you told Grim to put it back. Sam gave you a sympathetic smile, but still. You didn't need to add his pity to your plate of worries.
"Prefect, don't worry about it. I can take care of it."
You jumped. You hadn't realized Ruggie had lined up behind you with his own basket full of stuff.
"Yeah! Let Ruggie-"
"I couldn't do that, Ruggie, but thanks for the offer."
Ruggie grinned, "oh please, it's on Leona. He said I could get whatever I want as long as I come back with his energy drinks."
You made an unconvinced face, and Ruggie gave a playful wink.
"Trust me, your tuna won't even make a dent in his wallet. I could pay for your entire load, and still be able to pay off my student loans. In fact," he slapped down Leona's wallet, "Sam, add Y/N's groceries to mine, I'll take care of it."
Before you could protest further, Sam was ringing you both up.
And then Grim got an idea. A terribly, wonderful, awful idea.
"There, all settled. Plus now you can afford to fix your windows this month, or…." He looked at the cash in your hand, "well you can fix one window at least. And don't feel too bad for Leona. Eat the rich and what not," Ruggie patted your back comfortingly then left with his groceries.
"C'mon Grimmy, let's go," you said with a heavy sigh.
"Actually, I have something to do, Henchhuman. You go on home, I'll see ya later."
"Okay, but if you need me…."
"I'll be okay! Geeze you get so anxious without the great Grim. It's embarrassing."
You rolled your eyes and left. You would be so proud of him once he had finished though. He was excited already.
Heartslaybul Dorm….
"Mr. Rosehearts. Thank you for meeting with me."
Grim primly took out his pen and began to scribble on a clipboard.
"I didn't meet with you. You barged into my office," Riddle said, his arms crossed along his chest.
"I think you will find this meeting beneficial. It pertains to Y/N L/N."
Riddle relaxed a little, and raised a single curious eyebrow.
"You see, It has come to my attention, that Y/N and I do not have the funds to live comfortably. In fact, Y/N is practically starving to death! It has also come to my attention that you harbor some feelings for the prefect, and are in possession of a great deal of funds. Now," Grim dramatically looked up at Riddle, who's face was a shade of dark red. "How do you intend to provide for Y/N?"
Riddle opened his mouth, and Grim prepared himself for the worst, but…
"Wait, Y/N's on the market?!?!!"
Grim turned over his shoulder just in time to see Cater run in, tea tray in hand.
"He's only taking applications from rich people."
"Not a concern, housewarden!" Cater cleared his throat. "Hi, I'm Cater Diamond, and my dad is a banker."
"Oh!" Grim made a note on his paper. Riddle stood up abruptly.
"You only talk to your family on holidays, I wouldn't call that a solid source of income-"
"Yes but I'm a people pleaser, so I'll probably follow in his footsteps. So I will also have a banker's salary."
Riddle turned to Grim in a panic.
"I'm going to be a doctor!"
"Oh!" Scribble scribble.
"Oh please!" Cater rolled his eyes before conspiratorially leaning into Grim. "We both know Riddle. He'll work long shifts, day in and day out, and he'll never come home. Meaning poor Y/N will be trapped in a lonely loveless marriage. Meanwhile, I'll work my nine to five, and be home in time to gift you tuna, and keep Y/N warm at night."
"You think Grim cares about that?" Riddle shoved Cater out of the way. "I'll make time for Y/N. Plus my salary will provide double the tuna for you."
"What's all the yelling about?" Trey entered the room, followed by Ace and Deuce.
"Don't look at them, those three are poor as fuck. I mean a baker? Blech, disgusting," Cater apologetically smiled at Trey. "No offense."
"What?" Trey said, feeling more confused than he ever had been.
Grim clicked his pen closed.
"Thank you for your time. I have more interviews to conduct, but I will be in contact if you get through to the second round."
He scampered out of the room as Riddle and Cater nodded after him.
Savannaclaw Dorm….
Grim sat at the foot of Leona's bed as he tapped his chin thoughtfully.
"How can I provide for Y/N, huh? You mean the little demonstration Ruggie gave this morning wasn't enough?"
Grim tapped the pen impatiently against the clipboard.
"Mr. Kingscholar, it is important that you participate fully, or I will remove you from the list entirely."
Leona groaned.
"I receive a….certain amount of, shall we say, an allowance."
"And how much can I expect from that? I have a lot of people to interview. Please don't waste my time."
Leona looked over at Ruggie, who was folding laundry, then gestured Grim closer, before whispering a number into his ear.
Grim gasped, then hastily scribbled something onto his clipboard.
"We will be in contact with you when the second round of interviews begins." Grim stood up and hopped off the bed.
"Ruggie," Leona snapped, "Ensure my future relative makes it out of here safely. Let no one stop you."
Ruggie nodded in understanding as he escorted a proud looking Grim out.
Once they were halfway through the dorm, Ruggie began to speak.
"Leona has promised me a job with an excellent salary once I graduate. Just sayin."
"Won't he just take back the job if he finds out you're competing with him?"
Ruggie rolled his eyes, "Nevermind."
Jack left his room, and noticed the two of them, and began to walk towards them.
"Jack will make you get a job if you pick him," Ruggie whispered hastily. Grim hissed and sprinted the rest of the way out of the dorm.
"What's wrong with Grim?" Jack asked.
"Shi hi hi who knows?"
As Grim made his way to his second location, he was picked up by the scruff of his neck.
"Hey! What's the big idea?!?!?"
"Aw little sealie you're so cute!"
Grim stiffened.
"Fu fu fu," Jade laughed next to him. "our boss would like to have a word with you."
Grim gulped.
Octavinelle Dorm….
"Thank you for agreeing to see me," Azul said smugly.
"I didn't. Your scary twins picked me up and dragged me here."
"You see," Azul pushed his glasses up his nose, expertly ignoring Grim, "We got word that you were interviewing potential candidates for Y/N's future husband. I prepared some charts for you."
Azul pulled out several charts. Grim understood exactly zero of them. But he nodded thoughtfully and pretended to make a note on his clipboard.
"As you can see, my income is projected to continually go up until retirement. Plus my assets will continue to be of value, and my investments will be bringing in money for many years to come. I can safely say, money is no object. Plus, I am an excellent cook. You will never have to eat poor person's tuna ever again."
Grim made a real note this time just as the twins roughly turned his chair around.
"Now that Azul has had his turn, we would like to give our pitch," Jade said with an eerie grin.
"You see, our parents run a certain…. organization," Floyd and Jade shared a grin before turning to Grim again. "Jade and I are the sole inheritors of this empire when they pass. Just keep that in mind."
"Also, people who oppose this organization have a tendency to, shall we say, disappear."
Grim shivered as he made a skull and crossbones picture on his clipboard.
"Awesome. Great. I'll be taking Grim now…."
"Sea Snake!" Floyd shouted, wrapping his arms around Jamil, who had silently snuck into the room.
"Let go," Jamil hissed, wriggling away from Floyd. "Give me the cat."
"Aw, but we were playing with him…."
"It's alright Floyd. I think the three of us have made our point quite clear," Jade hummed, before the octotrio shared a laugh.
Jamil rolled his eyes before carefully picking up Grim.
Scarabia Dorm….
"Look, Kalim isn't going to brag for himself so I thought I'd bring you here and remind you that this entire dorm was funded by his family. And he will be inheriting said funds."
Grim nodded and made a note.
"What about you? I mean, I already know you aren't getting picked cause, well, " Grim pointedly looked him up and down. "But the other broke losers have tried to participate."
Jamil leaned down and gave a dark smile.
"I don't need money to win over Y/N," eyes flashing red as he spoke.
"Monsieur Fuzzball!"
Grim and Jamil both groaned. It only took two seconds for him to be scooped up by the hunter.
"Non, non, do not struggle. I only wish to prove myself as a proper caretaker!"
Pomefiore Dorm…
Grim had never been so pampered, well fed, and relaxed in his entire life. Rook had provided snacks galore, given Grim the full on spa treatment, brushed out his fur, and was now massaging his sore kitty back.
"Monsieur Fuzzball, doesn't this feel wonderful?"
Grim nodded as Rook continued his massage.
"Just think, you could have this everyday!"
Grim groaned happily as Rook hit a tough knot.
Suddenly, Rook's voice was directly in his ear.
"All you have to do is give me the Trickster."
In that moment, Grim knew he would sell you for this life without a second thought.
But before he could do that…
"For heaven's sake I told you to find Epel, not this rodent!"
Rook immediately stopped the massage, to turn to his Queen.
"Roi du poison! I was simply-"
"Spare me," Vil snapped, before handing a struggling Epel over to Rook. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a small card, gracefully handing it to Grim between two fingers.
"I believe you are aware of my financial situation, but should you have questions, you can reach my manager on that card."
Then he left the room with a flourish, and the lingering scent of apple blossoms.
"You know I am willing to share the trickster with you," Rook whispered to Vil in the hallway.
"Ew," Epel groaned.
"As if I'd ever share," Vil smirked.
Outside the Ignihyde Dorm…
Ortho stood next to the tablet, holding Grin up so he could see what it said.
"So as you can see from my bank account," Idia's voice said from the tablet, "Money is not and never will be an issue."
"It all looks good," Grim muttered as he made a note, "but I have to say it's a red flag that you couldn't come here in person…"
"Hey! Big brother is just busy with his experiment!"
"Yeah, exactly, thank you Ortho, for being the only one who appreciates genius. In fact this conversation is over. If he doesn't get it, then that's his loss. Ditch the noob, Ortho!" And the tablet floated back into the dorm.
Ortho gently set Grim down. "Look, big brother gets nervous around the prefect, that's all. But I think they'd make a great couple."
He gently patted Grim's head, then floated back in. Grim sighed, made a note about how Idia was a package deal, then continued to the final dorm.
Diasomnia Dorm…
"Small kitten, I am to be king of a country. Not only that, but I have spent centuries curating my hoard. Our nest will be always warm, and my perfect child of man will want for nothing," Malleus finished with a smug grin, as he leaned back in his throne. Then he sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Now you three can make your offers, or whatever."
"Me next! Me next!" Lilia said, cradling Grim like a baby. "I'm not as young as I look, and am on the best of terms with the queen and future king. I also have a great fortune built up! Kay, who's next?"
Silver timidly raised his hand.
"I just want to say, what about what Y/N wants? What if Y/N doesn't like any of us? What if Y/N doesn't even want to get married in the end? Or maybe they'll be just as happy with or without money?"
There was a long pause. Then…
"Silver's father is loaded and will do anything to see his children married and happy!"
"Fa-Lilia!" Silver hid his face in his hands in embarrassment.
"Same with Sebek. And his dad's a dentist!"
For once Sebek had nothing to say.
"Excellent, this looks very promising for you four," Grim nodded scribbling his final notes, "Now to-"
"GRIM!"
Uh oh. He turned around and saw you storming in.
"Child of man!"
"Save it Mal Mal! I'm here for my rat," You scooped up Grim, placing him under your arm as you left the room.
"When will we hear about the second round of interviews?" Lilia giggled.
You answered by flipping them the middle finger without looking back.
The Hallway….
"What the hell, Grim? I'm not for sale!"
"I'm not selling you! I'm just trying to get you provided for!"
"Please! This is about tuna and you know it!"
"Who even told you?"
"Jack called me about an-"
"Ah! Prefect!"
You and Grim groaned as you heard Crowley call to you both.
"Yes, headmage?" You asked through gritted teeth. You turned and saw Crewel was with him….wearing a bigger coat than normal.
"That coat looks so soft," Grim muttered.
"Yeah," you whispered back. "Wait, headmage, what do you need?"
"I heard your current allowance is no longer sufficient," he gently traced your jawline, settling below your chin, tapping up against it thoughtfully. "How does a little extra sound?"
You nodded dumbly.
"Good good, I'm too generous, I know," he hummed and walked off.
Before Crewel followed him, he smirked and patted the top of your head.
"Good pup."
He stalked off. You stood frozen for a moment. Grim smirked up at you.
"You know, they look like they…."
"You keep that thought to yourself, Grim."

You know what would be both Cool(tm) AND Pants Shittingly Terrifying? Eldritch Space Whale Danny!
Except NOT! Because he's not a whale! Just snoozing and Giganto-Fuck-Off HUGE!
Imagine it! Danny. Joint Custody Child of The Ancients Of Time And Space. Space is SALTY AF because their BITCH OF AN EX has used his FUCKING POWERS, AGAIN, to CHEAT. Clockwork how DARE YOU.
You knew he'd be our Son in advance!
YOU SNUCK IN AND STARTING BONDING WITH OUR CHILD BEHIND MY BACK!
YOU [REDACTED]!
Danny? Sitting off to the Side as a Sentient Everything and Nothing made of galaxies and starlight, howls expletives at their Ex, who is being... REALLY snippy back? WOW, Clockwork. I mean, JESUS, man. Danny's from "oh bless their heart" Nowhere, Midwest. And even HE thinks that last one was both backhanded and cold af.
......he should take notes. *continues to eat his popcorn*
Anyway! APPARENTLY, Space Parent has taken him in the divorce. With much huffing. Tucked under their arm Like The Football(tm). And honestly? This is kinda hilarious, so he's cool with it. Byyyyyy~ Clock Dad! See you on weekends~☆!
*Exasperated Time Noises*
It's pretty cool! He learns a lot. Learns he's probably? Gonna be SOME variation of Space Ghost. Might even take over Space's... well, EVERYTHING, should the unforeseeable occur. So obviously, gonna have to learn The Family Business, as it were!
Which?
UNSPEAKABLY HYPED, YES PLEASE.
SPACE AND STAR STUFF! HECK YEAH!
Unfortunately? Still a Halfa. Bleh, squishy need to eat and sleep. Why they get in the way of Hyperfixation? Why no more space dust? Nooooo, don't drag him away from the controls! He can still learn! Sleep is for quitters! Cowards! *whining in Give Me Back My Blorbos, You Monsters*
But, no. He apparently has to "take care of his body" and "not burn out". Eat "real food". A protein bar counts! He probably ate one of those! Give him back his STARS! He doesn't CARE if he sounds like a toddler! That's DIRECT ACCESS TO THE SECRETS OF SPACE ITSELF! He'll BITE, so HELP HIM-! *Is scruffed like a cranky infant being carried off to beddy bye*
Injustice! D:<
But, none the less, body's require sleep. He shovles down his food, washes up, and flops down in his bed. In the nice lil cozy "Safe For My Half Apprentice Who Is Also My Adopted Son" corner. He passes out in that corner. Starts to float, as he has done countless times before, when agitated before bed. Floats OUT of that corner.
That Safe Little Corner.
IN THE CENTER, THE BEATING HEART OF SPACE.
You know... the place ALL OF SPACE connects too. Where Universe Form and Die. The Grand Recycler. Dust to Dust, from the ashes of old, to the creation of new. Where PORTALS are randomly assigned. So that the Omniversal Ectoplasmic Levels may always be balanced at near to perfect levels, allowing free flow of Souls through the various Reincarnation cycles.
Space, of course, doesn't MANAGE the Ectoplasm itself. Nor the Souls! Different Ancient for THAT, but they DO manage the PORTALS. We live in a SYSTEM after all. Everyone has their "departments" as it were. So really, it's quiet... Danny? Honey? Awful quiet back there! You, uh, fallen asleep, Starlight?
*empty room*
(O.O)
*inhale* AAAAAAAAAAA-!!!!!!!
Meanwhile! He be Snoozin'! And Ghostin'! Ghost Snoozin'! Is extra comfy, cause he weightless and got not booooones~☆!
But! He? Is not a child anymore! Has learned to... for lack of a better term, Let Go. To finally ACCEPT his Death. His inhumanity. His Amortality. Death no longer holds him, can no longer let him go. He is... not immortal. He is disowned, by his own doing and his own choice, at his timeless moment of Ending.
When Life let go of his hand and Death kindly offered theirs, he did not take it.
And that's okay.
It took awhile. Talking to older ghosts. Most vague and vast, near formless. Because it's... it's scary. And it's all you know. All, really, you've EVER known. Inherent to your identity, even after you leave that part you behind.
You are "human". "Martian" or "Xy'xeruian", something else, and you never question it. Even when you've left behind everything ELSE. Your name, your eyes, your history and skin. Yet you fly around and pretend. Still alive, still human.
But is that YOU?
Or just the form you found your start in?
And like? It's okay if it IS! Sometimes, yeah, you ARE. You look down deep and find a "don't know what you were expecting, buddy" sign stapled to a mirror. But more often? It's that last hurdle. The final step in Letting Go.
Everyone mourns at their own pace.
And they are the ghosts of who they were.
It helped. Mourning for the kid he was. Who was fourteen and wanted to be an astronaut. Who died and will never have a grave. The longer he exsists, for he can't technically be called Alive, the more painfully young that child seems.
It was okay.
To cry for Danny Fenton.
Then? To let him go. Let his memory, be memory. And his Past be the grave that child rests in. Loved dearly and remembered, but no longer binding his soul.
He doesn't have to wear that face anymore.
No tributes to the Dead.
He got? Kinda... BIG. Like REALLY big. Spiraling, serpentine, cracking ice, and burning galaxies. Like a fourth dimensional dragon, of ice and stars, somehow forcing its way into a three dimensional space. Atop it all, between two vast, impossible horns? Made of glacial ice coating the warping hearts of black holes, who's shape themselves seem to shift in unknowable ways? There burns, like comet trails, with super novas, compressed to decorative gems beneath glittering morning frost, a Terrible Crown.
He? Thinks? He MIGHT have wings.
He can't tell.
Because APPARENTLY he's a fuckin tesseract! Oh, no, sorry. He might me a Zone DAMNED PENTERACT!!! Is THIS what he gets for hanging out with Clockwork all the time? He just liked the quiet! Now his "true form" is PHYSICALLY PAINFUL for most people to look at!
Clock Dad WHAT THE HELL?!
(You see, now, why Space broke up with him? An ASSHOLE)
So! Danny stays, usually at least, in his "Hi, yes, I am Normal Human Man" Ghost form. But NOW? Now it PINCHS. Because it's TOO SMALL. But hey, that's fine! It's not like he has an ingrained habit of transforming when super tired and stressed! To float sleep for Maximum Restfulness(tm).
Ha ha!
Why does that feel like foreshadowing?
BECAUSE IT IS!
Danny? Snoozing! Space? Has LOST THE BABY! Portals? Have done a Jood Gob in Portalling, something they are vaguely sure they are supposed to be doing! Yay them! They have no brain cells but still enjoy helping! They moved a thing! That's helpful right? Yay! Probably!
And on DC's planet Earth?
They? Just choked on their fuckin coffee. One moment? La dee daa~ oooh~ look! Stars! Deep space! Oh, hiiii~ Watchtower! The NEXT? *every alarm in the building starts LOSING ITS SHIT* Giant World OBLITERATING SHAPE completely takes up the screen.
From near PLUTO.
There are NO WORDS TO DISCRIBE HOW FUCK OFF BIG THIS THING IS, MR. PRESIDENT. It will eat our nukes and LAUGH. Call! EVERYBODY!!!
Obviously? Superman. I mean really, OF COURSE Superman. Frankly, all the Supers. Because we would like to KEEP having a planet, thanks. Only? The more reports that come in? The more everyone is getting "oh fuck. This is a Workd Eater" vibes.
A massive, massive, Sleeping Titan of a Planet Destroying World Eater.
That MIGHT BE MAGIC.
*highly stressed Everyone noises*
And WORSE? Superman? Can't TOUCH it! Oh sure, at FIRST he could! But then he apparently pushed too hard in just one spot! And it felt POKED AT. So now, after flicking superman HALFWAY BACK TO EARTH to make him stop? No one can physically touch it!
But! There is hope!
Because? The creature is GREEN. Bright, luminous, Lantern Green! And Earth's Lanterns have already sent for back up. Combined? The were able to move a... hand? Paw? Something. But! With the combine forces of several nearby sectors of Lanterns? They promise the power to either relocate the creature or at least hold it in orbit until FURTHER forces can be deployed!
They refuse to harm the creature until it proves actively hostile, as it could have been seeking a place to nap and chosen one inconvenient to established planetary life. Frankly? Earth doesn't CARE where you relocate the giant Eldritch Space Dragon. Just NOT IN OUR BACKYARD, PLEASE.
....YES WE ARE SURE! We don't CARE if the scientific community of our planet is begging you to set up an area for them to place an "observation satellite"! No giant Eldritch Space Dragons in our solar system! It might WAKE UP!
Naturally, about half way THROUGH this Highly Delicate Operation?
Danny Wakes Up.

Hihi! I was wondering if you can do billy and stu and just the slashers reacting to their someone being hurt at their job and trying to hide it?
A/N: Okay I was going to do this request for multiple slashers, BUUUUUUT I started writing for Billy and Stu and got carried away. I love them too much
Billy & Stu Reacting to their S/O being injured at work.
Warnings: Swearing, mention of blood, brief mention of killing (but I mean this is the slasher fandom so kinda expected lol)
This blog is 18+, Minors do not interact
GIF by casualwriters
You hadn’t been working at the video store for too long but you loved it, your friend Randy had gotten you the job when they were desperate for staff. It was great for the boys too; Billy and Stu would stop by all the time using the place as their personal hang out much to your managers displeasure.
Every Saturday night the boys would swing by and pick some scary movies to watch together after you finished, unfortunately for them you were going to be stuck doing inventory tonight. As usual Billy wasn’t impressed about having to share your time with anyone other than Stu, “Just blow it off what are they going to do fire you?” you rolled your eyes as you continued getting ready. “Yes Billy, probably.”
Stu got up from his spot in front of the tv to try to pull you back to the couch, “Come on babe, do you really think you should be out at night? Don’t you know there’s a killer on the loose?” You try to supress your chuckle as he raises his eyebrows at you, his usual smirk on his face.
You fake innocence putting on your best fear filled voice, “Oh no, what will I do if Mr. Ghostface comes to get me.” Billy laughs one of his rare genuine laughs before Stu steps closer to you placing his hands on your waist, “I could think of a few things.” Smirking as he notices the way you flush at the suggestion. You lightly smack his chest as he laughs at himself once again before you press a chaste kiss to his lips. You grab your bag, blowing a quick kiss to Billy before heading to the door. “I’ll try to get back in time for movie night, but don’t wait up.”
Inventory was fairly boring, you tried to get it done as quickly as possible while Randy spent most of the night showing you his favourite scenes from various movies. Shoving another handful of popcorn into his mouth he continued his rant, “Come on how can you have lived your whole life without watching this movie? Quick you're gonna miss the best part!”
“Randy unlike you I’m actually trying to get this finished before midnight, now are you going to help me or not?” He sighs before finally getting off his ass and heading towards the storage room, 15 minutes go by and he still isn’t back to help. “I swear to god Randy if you're napping on the kart again I’m going to kill you.” You mutter to yourself as you head to the storage room.
You see Randy sitting on the kart going through a box of movies, you try to get a closer look before he sees you. You noticed the box of X rated movies he was looking at. “Randy you perv!” You didn’t realise you had snuck up on him before he jumped up knocking you into the shelves behind you both. Before you could move a box came off the shelf and fell onto you. Your head immediately pounded “Oh shit, Y/N!” Randy hurries to help you up, moving the various tapes that are scattered around to get you back out into the store, sitting up on the counter Randy starts looking over your head. “Oh shit, you're bleeding. Billy’s going to kill me.” You feel him practically prod at your forehead as you hiss in pain and slap his hand away. He helps you clean up the blood and tells you to go home, “Ill finish up here, it’s the least I can do.” You can see how sincere he is when he apologises. Your only worry is how you're going to explain this to the boys.
You decide to head straight home, hopefully the boys will think you just had to stay too late and will leave you be until tomorrow. That way you would at least have time to clean yourself up and come up with a story.
Looking in the mirror the damage is worse than you thought, the red tint on your forehead of smudged blood, the dried blood in your hairline and the bruising that was already beginning to show around the cut that could definitely not be concealed. You sighed as you wet a cloth in the bathroom sink raising it to your head gently, the pain immediately making you wince at the contact.
You raised your hand to try again when you heard something in your room, you looked out the doorway and saw what you could only assume was the boys sneaking in your window. You panicked and slammed the bathroom door closed locking it behind you. You hear the taller of the two call out to you as he knocks on the bathroom door. When you don’t answer he tries to open the door, “Whys the door locked babe?”
“Sorry Stu, I’m not feeling too well.” You try to sound convincing. This time its Billy that answers, “Come out here and tell us what’s wrong.” “Yeah we will look after you.” Stu giggles as you can clearly hear Billy push him away from the door. You feel bad hiding from them, “No its okay, you should probably go home in case I’m uh infectious or something. Yeah.” Your voice wavers and you know you aren’t convincing anyone.
Stu is quiet for once but you hear the edge in Billy’s voice as he speaks, “Y/N don’t lie to us, get out here.” You know they won’t leave, part of you wonders if it would be dramatic to climb out the window at this point. “Don’t make me break the door down.” You would’ve rolled your eyes but you knew he probably wasn’t kidding.
You slowly unlocked the door before slipping out of the bathroom, still not looking at either of them. You try to hide your face but of course they can see it, Stu is at your side immediately trying to make sure you're okay. He gently inspects the cut careful not to touch it. You try to ignore Billy’s stare but you can feel his eyes on you, looking at him for a second regret fills you when you meet his eyes. Billy might be a murderer but everything he does is so calm and thought out, never out of rage. You wouldn’t know that looking at him now, fists clenched at his side as his eyes narrow at you, gaze shifting between your eyes and the cut on your head.
Stu takes you to sit down on the bed, unsure of how to help you. He might be the most caring person when it comes to you but he’s also kinda hopeless. Billy’s gaze doesn’t leave you as you move around the room. Eventually after what felt like endless silence he walks towards you taking your chin in his hand and turning your face to look at the cut better. “Who did this to you?” Any other time Billy’s over protective tendencies would make you feel secure but seeing him like this, eyes dark and glazed over in anger didn’t bring you any comfort.
“No one did this to me.” He cut you off as his grip tightened slightly, “Don’t fucking lie to me. Who did this to you.” You don’t know what to say, you pull your chin out of his grip and sigh, “I was working with Randy and…” Stu seems to pull you closer protectively as Billy raises his voice again. “Randy did this to you?” Billy hated Randy already for so many reasons but this time Stu is the one to speak up, “That little fucker is going to pay,” he stood up and tried to walk away before you grabbed him, “No! I mean please just stay here with me,” you plead him as you pull him into a hug again, you know just how to stop this big softy from making a stupid decision like trying to kill Randy.
“He’s right. You think he gets to hurt you and get away with this.” Calming Billy down was going to be a harder task, “He didn’t hurt me Billy, we were taking inventory and it was an accident.” He scoffed, “He accidentally sliced your head open.” You walk towards Billy and take his face in your hands making him look at you once again, “It was an accident,” he tries to turn his head away but you bring him back to look at you, “And I’m fine now. I promise.”
You watch him as his eyes flicker from your eyes down to your lips, bringing himself closer to you. You reach up to place a kiss on his lips, slightly surprised when he begins to deepen it. His hands wrap around your waist as he starts walking you backwards towards the bed. You know where this is going and as the back of your knees hit the bed frame you break apart smiling up at him as you think you’ve won this one. He gently pushed you back onto Stu’s lap, the kind look gone from his face as he turns to Stu, “Keep her here til I get back.” Stu only seems to nod and Billy starts walking back towards the window, you suddenly realise what’s happening and frantically try to get out of Stu’s embrace.
“Billy no!” you practically yell at him, stopping him half way out the window, “Please Billy, don’t kill him.” He doesn’t respond as he sends you a bone chilling smirk and disappears out of your room.

Tapping lightly at the steering wheel of your car to the rhythm of the song playing on the radio, you shift the gear, to make your car drive faster.
You’ve been driving for half an hour now, enjoying the breathtaking nature of Michigan. You spent every summer, for the past twenty years, in the lake house with the Hughes brothers. Your parents were great friends with Ellen and Jim, so they took you there every time. You have here even your room since you spent there all summer.
With a smile, you turn to the street where is their house located. As you reached the house, you parked your car on the driveway. As soon as you step out of the car, a pair of hands wrapped around your waist spinning you.
You squeal from surprise laughing, just like the person holding you. As soon as your feet touch the ground again, you turn around only to meet the youngest brother, Luke.
“Lukey!” pulling him in a hug, you rest your head on his chest, breathing in his scent.
“Hey Buba!” he whispers in your hair, planting there kiss. “I’ve missed you.”
“I’ve missed you too, Lu.” you pull away only to be pulled in another hug, this time from Jack, who spins with you and places you on the hood of your car, laughing.
“Hey, little Zegras,” he smiles brightly kissing your cheek. “How was your ride?” he steps between your legs, while Luke is sitting next to you.
“Great, but the flight was terrible,” you chuckle. They both look at you, signaling for you to continue. “I was sitting in the seat at the aisle right, and next to me was some guy, who was, all the flight, looking at me and touching me. It was creepy.” you sigh looking them in the eyes.
“You should tell that to the flight attendant,” Luke says, anger in his voice.
“Yeah, but you know I don’t like talking to people I don’t know.” you shrug my shoulders.
Before Jack can say anything Trevor shoves him away, and pulls you in a hug. You wrap your legs around his waist, hugging him tightly. One of his hands is resting on your back and the other is on your head, pulling you tightly to him.
“I’ve missed you so fucking much, sis,” he whispers in your ear, kissing the side of your head, his lips staying there for a while. You snuck your head closer to his neck tear sliding down your cheek.
“I missed you too, Trev. So much,” you whisper tilting your head to look him in the eyes. Smile covering his lips his eyes shining with joy and happiness. He bends down pressing a soft kiss to your lips as he always does. You lean your forehead on him, enjoying the moment with your brother whom you haven’t seen in almost a year.
“Okay, get down, you getting heavy,” he whines letting go of your head and back, you slide down on the ground, his hand swinging around your shoulders hugging you again.
You breathe in his scent, reminding you of the home. The smell of his perfume and his masculinity.
“Oh, look who finally honored us with their presence,” a deep voice comes from the house door. We all turn to the sound of his voice.
And there he really is the one and only guy who owns my heart. Smirk playing on his lips, his hair messy as it always is, your hand aching to run through these curls.
A smile immediately forms on your lips as you make your way to him, trying to be as casual as possible so your brother and the boys don’t get any suspicions.
As soon as you’re in front of him, you’re pulled into his warm presence, your face dug into his chest feeling his heart racing quickly. You titled your head resting it in the crock of his neck, placing here small kiss, as you made sure no one saw it.
“I missed you, love, it’s been the longest week in my life and I’m not counting the roadies,” he whispered making me chuckle.
“I missed you too Q. I love you,” you whisper so no one hears us.
“I love you too.” he smiles before he pulls away, so guys don’t get suspicious.
“Hey Quinn, leave her alone, it’s our time with her, you have her in Vancouver all to yourselves, so let her enjoy her time with us,” Luke growls at him playfully pulling you away from him.
“Yeah, but she’s on the other side of the town, so I get to see her once in week.” he protests pulling you closer. The funny thing is that you have seen each other every single day since you lived together. You, well Quinn, bought an apartment in the middle of the town so you have it close to college and he to the training, but of course guys don’t know about it.
“And we see her only two months in a year and the few games we play against you or near Vancouver,” Jack says this time earning a grimace from Quinn.
“Okay, okay, I think I’ll take a nap after the flight and then we can go on the lake, hmm?” you raise an eyebrow at them with a smile on your face.
It’s amazing to see your family again. You missed them during the whole season.
They all nod, taking care of your luggage, as you make your way to your room.
“You can place them there in the corner,” you point at the place next to you table. You'll unpack it later, you're not in the mood to do it.
You pop down on the bed, bouncing on it slightly. When all your luggage is in place, boys stand in front of you with smiles on their faces.
“What?” you laugh looking at them confused.
“Nothing,” they say at the same time. Trev bends down kissing your forehead.
“Take a nap, come to us when you wake up, okay.” he smiles down at you.
“I sure will.” you laugh. As soon as they leave you get out off the bed, taking out clothes to change into. You take off your shirt and bra, only to change into your blue bikini and Trevor’s long shirt. You slip off your shorts and panties, changing into the same bikini panties.
With a smile on my lips, you lay down under the blanket. You open your phone and send a quick text to Quinn before you drift to sleep.
Dove - come to me, make sure guys don’t get suspicious. I’m waiting.💖😏
In a few minutes, strong arms sneak around your waist pulling you into their hard hot chest. You hummed in comfort pressing your ass in their groin, knowing very well, that the person behind you is Quinn.
“Hi, my little dove,” he whispered in your ear, planting small kisses down your neck.
“Hey, Quinny,” you mumble, a smile playing on your lips.
— — — — — — —
“Y/n! Get your big ass in here!!” Trevor shouts from the living room. You’re still in your room, getting ready for today’s night. They made up their minds you have to go to the bar today, so right now, you’re standing in front of your mirror putting on your lip gloss.
Muffled voices from the living room, before your doors open, revealing your hot-ass-boyfriend standing there in a white button-up shirt and grey pants. The first three buttons on his shirt are undone revealing his collarbones.
You smile at him through the mirror, while he’s checking you out.
“Take a picture, it will last longer.” you tease him, swaying your hips seductively.
“You look stunning, my little dove,” he whispered.
“Thank you. You don’t look bad yourself,” you smirk at him. Placing the lip gloss on your table, you wrap your arms around his neck, pulling him down to you for a quick kiss.
“We have to go, baby. Guys are impatient,” he smirks, placing a soft kiss on your lips. With a smile, you take your phone and purse, where you will in a matter of minutes carry all of their phones.
“Finally!” Jack exclaims. “What took you so long?”
“How do you think I turn myself into this? It takes some time to look like this,” you say in a ‘duh’ tone, making them chuckle. You look at Trevor whose eyes are already on you, his brows furrowed together. “What?” you look at him with confusion written all over your face.
“Nothing, but you could take longer dress.” he points out. You are wearing a black long-sleeved spaghetti dress that ends in the middle of your tights, showing your medusa tattoo.
“Trevor,” you sigh, pulling the dress over the tattoo. “I’m trying to forget about it. It doesn’t help me that you remind me about it.” you swallow hard looking down at your tattoo.
“I’m sorry y/n.”
“Fine, end of your siblings’ love! We have a party to attend!” Luke yells, changing the topic of our conversation.
“Who’s driving?” you look around. Your eyes linger on your hot-ass boyfriend who is already looking at you with a smirk on his lips.
“Me, I won’t drink, I’m not in the mood, besides, someone has to take care of these two.” he points at Jack and Luke, who look at him offended.
“Hey, what are you talking about?” Luke looks at him offended.
“You know exactly, what he’s talking about,” you cock your brow at him. He sticks his tongue out.
“Okay! I think it’s time to take off.” Quinn sighs pushing you out of the house.
As soon as you are out, Trevor runs to Quinn’s car, standing next to the passenger doors, already holding the handle.
“No,” Q shakes his head when he sees what is Trevor up to. “You’re sitting in the back with these two. That’s y/n’s seat,” he says shoving him away and opening the door for me.
Your cheeks reddening at his gesture. You sit in, sending a smirk to Trevor.
“Bitch.” he mouths at you. You love it when Trevor is trying to be mean to you.
“Ass.” you mouth back, grinning. Jack and Luke are already sitting in the back, bickering over something. Trevor sits behind you, kicking in your seat like a kid. Quinn sits down behind the steering wheel, starting the engine.
With a smile, you connect your phone with the car, playing your summer playlist, you made two years ago when you and Luke were bored.
After ten minutes, you are at the place. Killing the engine, Quinn steps out, just like the three in the back seat. You stay in the car for a while to reapply your lip gloss. When you’re done, and ready to get out, the doors open, revealing a large hand. You look up, your eyes meeting with big blue eyes, that belong to your lovely man. You smile at him, placing your hand in his, letting him help you get out of the car.
You look around realizing, the boys are already inside the bar, so it doesn’t surprise you, when his hands wrap around your waist, pulling you to him.
“Hi.” you grin at him, wrapping your arms around his neck.
“Hi,” he smiles pulling you even closer. “You look stunning, little dove.” you smile up at him, your fingers playing with the hair on his neck.
“Thank you, you look good too, but we shouldn’t be doing this, someone sees us, and my brother will find out, just like yours.” You sigh but pull him closer to you to rest your forehead on his.
“I know, love, but I need to kiss you. I don’t know if I’m able to keep you as a secret anymore. I want the whole world to know you’re my fucking woman. No one else’s.” he whispers, nudging his nose in yours.
“Can you wait till the weekend? I want some time with you. To enjoy the adrenalin we have when we sneak around.” you grin at him, as your lips graze his in slow motions while you talk.
“I think I can do that,” he smiles against your lips, giving it a quick peck, before he steps aside. You two make your way in the bar.
You look around, catching a glimpse of Luke’s hair in the box near you. You nudged Quinn, pointing to the place where they are. He nods his head, his hand making its way to my lower back as he leads us to them.
“What took you so long?” Trevor eyes us, his brows furrowed in sharp v. His eyes land on Quinn’s hand, which is still placed on my lower back.
You act like nothing’s going on when our eyes meet and answer his question. “I was reapplying my lipgloss and Quinn waited on me.” you shrug sitting down next to him, Quinn takes a seat opposite to you, at the end of the bench next to Jack.
“Okay. What do you want for drinking?” Trevor looks at you after a while. Jack and Quinn are bickering over something, Luke is on his phone texting with someone.
“I don’t know. Margarita or Tequila sunrise.”
“Okay, I’m going to get it. Guys, you wanna beer?” Trev shouts, Jack and Luke nod sending him a thankful smile. “You wanna water or a non-alcoholic drink?”
“You can get me a mojito,” Quinn says after a short while. Trev nods nudging your legs so he can get out. You let him out, then sat more in the middle of the bench.
Even though you’re planning on dancing later you want your drink first.
You can feel Quinn’s eyes on you as you scroll on your Instagram. After a while, you raise your gaze to meet his beautiful blue eyes.
“What?” you cock your brow at him. He shakes his head biting his lower lips as his eyes travel down your neck as they land on your cleavage.
“Stop it.” you mouth. There is no point in yelling, the music is so loud he wouldn’t hear, and no one would.
His smirk grows wide but disappears when Trevor appears next to you, you’re in front of you.
“Thank you.” You shout in his ear so he hears it. He nods his head, kissing your temple.
You sip from your drink, by the taste figuring out it’s Tequila sunrise. You let out a groan enjoying the taste.
When you’re halfway down the cocktail you stand up, the attention of the boys on you.
“I’m going to dance,” you yell in Trevor’s ear. He nods and lets you out. You make your way to the dance floor, swaying your hips on the way there.
You sway your hips to the beat of the music, your hands trailing down your sides, enjoying the freedom you have, the loud music vibrating through your body.
You love parties, not because of the alcohol, but because of the freedom to dance the way you want. After the rape, you were unable to go to any party or any bar. You felt like everyone knew what happened to you and would judge you.
But now, two years after the rape, you have a boyfriend who loves you so much, family and friends who helped you through and most likely you have yourself and that’s all you need.
You’re pulled out of your thoughts by two hands sneaking around your waist. You place you hands on them thinking it’s one of the guys, but the hairs on them make you realize it’s none of them.
Abruptly you turn around meeting with a pair of green eyes. You try to get out of his hold, but his hands tighten around your his, drawing you closer to him.
“Get off of me.” You yell at him, trying to get out, but you have no chance against him. He’s 6 feet something by the way you have to tilt your head back.
“Oh, come on, you were enjoying it, the whole time.” he leans into you whispering the words in your ear.
“Let me go.” you try again, your eyes starting to tear, this time grabbing his hand and shoving the from your hips, but his grip tightens even more, causing you to hiss from the pain, tears sliding down your cheeks.
In the moment he’s shoved away from you and you are pulled in a hug. Your eyes land on furious Quinn punching the guy in the face as Trevor and Jack are trying to get him off the guy while Luke holds you in his arms.
As soon as Trevor and Jack manage to pull Quinn off of the guy he storms towards you, pulling you in a bone-crushing hug. You snuggle your head in his chest, a sob leaving your mouth.
“It’s okay, babe. I’ve got you. Nothing’s gonna happen to you.” he says in your ear, as he pulls you more into him.
“I-I thought it’s o-one you.” you cry in his chest clinging onto him.
“Shh,” he whispers, placing hands on your cheeks as he leans down to kiss you.
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?” Trevor shouts from behind you, forcing you to step away from Quinn. As soon as you were away from him, Trevor’s fist collided with Quinn’s face, causing him to stumble backward.
“Trevor!” you shout in disbelief standing in front of Quinn.
“Move, y/n,” he growls looking down at you. You shook your head, tears running down your cheeks, making his eyes soften as he unclenched his fists.
“We should go out,” Jack says looking around at the people looking at you.
“Yeah, that’s a great idea.” Luke joins him, pushing you all out of the bar.
As soon you’re out of the bar, Trevor’s hand grabs your arm, pulling you away from Quinn who’s surrounded by his brothers.
“What were you thinking?! Sleeping with my friend behind my back?” he hisses at you through his teeth.
“It’s not like th-” you try to say, but he won’t let you finish you sentence before he starts talking again.
“Don’t even try! I’m not blind, I saw how he looked at you the whole night I just thought I was making it in my mind,” he says, his hand tightening around your arm. “I want you to end it. I don’t care if you just fuck or whatever, end it, now,” he says before he let you and makes his way to Quinn. “And YOU! I thought we were clear about the rules. Never sleep with my SISTER! You promised you would take care of her while I’m not with her, not to fucking FUCK HER!” he shouts at him, his fist landing on Quinn’s nose this time.
“Trevor!” You shout in shock, running to Quinn who holds his nose, blood dripping on the ground.
“For fuck’s sake, what is wrong with YOU!” You shout out tears start to form at the edge of your eyes. In every situation, that someone is mad because of you, it’s hard for you to hold tears in. Jack and Luke are holding Trevor so you can take a look at Quinn’s nose.
As you grab his face in your palms, you hear how’s Trevor trying to get out of the hold of Jack and Luke. You raise Quinn’s head, his nose covered in blood just like his mouth and chin. Tears now running down your cheeks as you reach into your purse pulling out tissues to wipe out the blood.
“Y/n,” Quinn’s voice comes out as a whisper but you ignore it as you wipe out the blood. “Baby,” he whispered taking hold of your hand with the one that wasn’t covered in blood. “Hey, don’t cry,” he whispers looking into your eyes with a pleading look. “It’s nothing. I’m okay.”
“Don’t fucking talk to her!” Trevor’s voice comes from behind you. You turn slightly behind you, only to catch a glimpse of fuming mad Trevor who’s still trying to get to us.
“I will talk to her as much as I want and whenever I want for fuck’s sake. She’s my girlfriend.”
Quinn says making himself clear and loud.
“And she’s my sister!” Trevor says this time in a calmer voice as he sees the tears on my cheeks.
“Okay! Both of you stop! Can we go home and do this at home? People are watching!” you sigh not daring to look at the people shooting you glances.
Trevor looks around sighing at the sight of at least ten people watching you and whispering. He nods and strips out of the boy’s hold before he makes his way to the car. You turn back to Quinn wiping away the rest of the blood so he looks normal when he drives you home. You pull out two tampons from your purse.
“No, you won’t do that!” Quinn states as soon as he sees what you’re holding.
“Yes, I will. Now please shut up,” you say uncompromisingly opening the tampons and sticking them in his nose holes.
“I look ridiculous,” he sighs shaking his head. Luke came to you, letting out a chuckle as soon as he saw Quinn. “Oh shut up Moosey!” he shoves him away, grabbing your hand and leading you to his car, where’s already Jack and Trevor.
Trevor clenches his hands in fists as soon as he sees your intertwined fingers. You try to let go of his hand, but Quinn tightens his hold on your signaling you to not.
You know he’s done hiding, but you don’t know if he realizes that he’s just provoking Trevor or is aware of it. You squeeze his hand, smiling at him. He opens the car letting us all in.
As you all sit in the car, uncomfortable silence is surrounding you. Trevor sends death glares to Quinn through the review mirror.
This is going to be a long ride.
— — — — — — —
“Trevor, can you please listen to me!” you shout at him when he got out of the car pacing to the house. You run out of the car after him.
“I don’t wanna listen to any of the shit you want to tell me,” he yells making you flinch. “You are sneaking behind my back with my best friend, like some whore!” as soon as the words left his mouth, guilty is written all over his face. “Y/n I-I didn’t mea-”
“Yes, you did,” you choke out feeling the tears sliding down your cheeks again, for the third time tonight. “You meant it and you know you did,” you swallow the sob in your throat as you take a deep breath. “I-I know it wasn’t right to not tell you right away, but I was afraid you would react this way.”
“Fuck, y/n I really didn’t mean to say that,” he whisper, his hands running through his hair.
“You did, Trevor. You meant it. You know you wouldn’t say it if you didn’t mean it. And I hope you realize I don’t deserve these words.” you say before you make your way upstairs to your room.
As soon as you’re in your room, you lock the door, and let out a sigh. The tears spilling over the edge and running their way down your cheeks. You let out the sob you were holding in, the whole time you were talking to Trevor.
You lay down on the bed and curl up in a ball, letting the sobs out.
Ever since you and Quinn started dating, you knew Trevor would react badly, but you had no idea that he would react this badly.
You know you should’ve told him that you and Quinn are a thing but you were afraid of how he would react, and what would he do. And you were right.
You don’t know how long you’ve been lying here with your thoughts, but a light knock on your door interrupted me.
“Baby, it’s me,” Quinn’s quiet voice sends shivers down your spine, and another sob escapes your mouth. “Can I come in?” he asks, his voice calm and sweet.
“It’s locked,” you whisper, knowing he probably didn’t hear it.
“Y/n, baby, please, open the door,” he sighs when he tries to open the door. “I want to be here for you!” he pleads. You can imagine the pout he has on his face.
With a sigh, you wrap yourself up in the blanket as you make your way to the door unlocking it. The door swings open and you are embraced with a tight hug.
He wraps his hands around your shoulders and neck to keep you in him. You wrap your hands around his waist, as a sob escapes your throat.
“Shh, it’s okay,” he whispers, smoothing your hair. “Trevor will cool down by tomorrow and we’ll talk to him, okay?” You nod your head, breathing in his scent. “I love you, baby,” he whispers in your ears.
“I love you too,” yoy murmured in his chest. He pulls away from you, leading you to bed and lying down with you.
“Go sleep, baby, we’ll deal with this tomorrow.” he kissed your forehead, tucking you more into him. You don’t really know how long you’ve been lying until you eyes closed and you fell asleep.
— — — — — — —
The next morning, you’re sitting at the table with the three brothers. Trevor is still sleeping, which is normal, he won’t be up until ten.
You’re sitting next to Quinn, who has his left hand placed on your tight, as his thumb draws small circles on your skin. It’s his habit. He learns that it helps you when you are nervous, but you think, sometimes when he does it, it’s more for him, to keep him calm and to be less nervous.
When you woke up, Quinn wasn’t in bed. You panicked, that maybe Trevor saw him, and something happened. You quickly got out of your bed and headed down, only to find the three brothers making breakfast.
You’ve to say they overdone themselves. This is the best breakfast you had in a week. Quinn’s usually the one who cooks, which is perfect because you’d be able to burn your whole kitchen. But because he came here a week earlier than you, you were left home alone with a small amount of food, so you were stuck with take-out and KFC.
“I…uhm…I have to ask you, okay,” Luke blurts out in the silence just in the moment when you shove another bite in your mouth. “How…how long have you two…you two been a thing?” he asks pointing between us with a fork.
You and Quinn share a glance before he clears his throat. “Uhm, we’ve been together since the end of the last season.” Jack’s and Luke’s jaws drop.
“So, that’s why you had that little talk with Jamie?” Jack’s face light up with realization, as you’re in confusion. You turn your head at Quinn who’s sending diggers to Jack.
“What talk?” you ask, your full attention on Quinn as you let go of his hand. He scratches the back of his neck, letting out a nervous laugh.
“Oh it was nothing, just told him to stop acting like an asshole when he’s around you, that you’re not interested.” he shrugged, looking down at his plate.
“Really, Quinn?” giggle escapes your mouth. “You were jealous? Why? You know me and Jamie are just friends. Seriously he flirts with everything that has boobs and pussy.” placing your hand on his tight you give it a squeeze.
“I know, but we were together for two months and I was scared, okay?” he says looking deep into your eyes. You just nod, because you know that Quinn hates talking about his feelings in front of other people.
You were about to ask, what’s today’s plan, when Trevor’s figure stops in the doorframe. His eyes roam the room before they land on your hand on Quinn’s tight. You know you should’ve probably taken it off, but what’s the matter when he already knows?
He cleared his throat looking up at Quinn’s face. The bridge of his nose is purple, and the bruise abound his left eye is starting to show up.
“I’m…ugh…I’m sorry how I reacted, yesterday,” he mumbled looking at Quinn.
“‘S okay, I should’ve expected it,” Quinn nods with a small smile on his lips.
“Yeah, well, can we maybe talk about it after breakfast?” this time his eyes divert to yours.
You look away and nod. “But if you wanna act like an overprotective asshole, then I have nothing to tell you.” you look him dead in the eyes.
“I won’t,” shakes his head. You nod signaling him to sit down and eat.
The rest of the breakfast was silent, only quiet whispers between Luke and Jack about hockey.
When you all were done with breakfast, you take the plates and make your way to the kitchen. You place them in the sink, preparing yourself to wash them. You know you can simply put them in the dishwasher, but you don’t want to have that conversation with Trevor.
“Y/n,” speaking of the devil, Trevor’s voice sounds from behind you as you stop in your movements. “Can we please talk?” he let out a sigh, you can hear his bare feet hitting the floor as he makes his way to you.
“Yeah, I just do the dishes,” you mumble as you want to continue washing, but his hands stop you, catching yours.
“The dishes can wait,” he sighs when he turns you around, but your eyes look anywhere but him. “Please?” you finally look up at him, the desperation in his eyes clear.
“Fine,” you dry your hands and walk over to the table where is Quinn still sitting, this time with the phone in his hand. “But you will listen and won’t say a word until we’re done, are we clear?” you look at him as you sit down next to Quinn, who puts the phone down as soon as he sees me.
“Okay.”
You look at Quinn asking him silently if he wants to start. He turns his head back to Trevor who’s already looking at him.
“Okay, first of all, I love your sister and I won’t leave her just because you don’t like we’re together,” Quinn states firmly making no room for Trevor to argue. “And second, I’m sorry, that I broke the rule, but you can’t control who you love.”
Trevor’s eyes wander to you, asking you silently if it’s true.
“I love him too, Trev. And you know how much I hated your stupid rules since the beginning.” you sigh, feeling the rock fall from your shoulders as you finally tell him.
“I don’t want to say that I can imagine how you feel, so I won’t, but believe me, when I tell you, that your sister is the woman of my life,” Quinn confesses. Your eyes grow wider at the words that left his mouth. You know that Quinn loves you more than himself and hockey, but hearing it come in this way, felt different.
Trevor nods, looking at me. “How long…when did you two..?” he stumble over his words not knowing how to ask.
“Year, since the end of the last season,” you say, taking a hold of Quinn’s hand. He interlock his fingers with yours placing your hands in his lap.
Trevor’s eyes went wide and his mouth opened and closed in shock. He stands up, and one of his hands goes to his jaw as he stands in front of the glass door.
You look at Quinn as you stand up, he lets go of your hand and gives you a reassuring smile. You slowly walk to Trevor and stand in front of him. His eyes immediately fell on yours as tears started to form in them. Your heart aches at the sight of the tears, you wrap your hands around his waist hoping you’ll bring him some comfort.
“I love him, Trev, really do. He’s the only guy who doesn’t see me as thrash after he gets to know what happened to me.” You whisper leaning your chin on his chest, looking up at him.
“I just don't want him to hurt you,” he whispers back leaning his forehead against yours. “I won’t forgive myself, if something happened to you again.”
“He won’t, Trevor. You know he won’t hurt me. In any way, he’s nothing like Jos-”
“Don’t talk about that shit.” he inhaled sharply.
“Sorry,” you mumble.
“‘S okay,” he sighs kissing your head. “Hughes!” he calls for Quinn, who’s at your side in a few seconds.
“If you hurt her, I swear I’ll cut your dick and show it deep down your ass.” he threatens him with a serious expression.
You’re about to scold him, but Quinn outrun you.
“I won’t. I love her, Trevor.” Quinn says in a serious tone. Trevor stays silent for a while before he pulls Quinn in a hug.
Well, maybe the night in the bar wasn’t a disaster after all.

Art Was Here
Art the Clown x Reader
Word Count: 3.6K
Summary: You and your two best friends, Tara and Dawn, are creeped out by a weird clown at the pizzeria. What you don’t realize is that you’ve been followed, and the clown has other plans for you.
Warnings: 18+,Smut, Porn with Plot, Violence, Murder, Reader has female anatomy but no pronouns mentioned
“I think we should get our food to go.”
Tara’s slow and unsteady words pulled your eyes up from Instagram to her scrunched face. She looked worried, but wasn’t looking at you or Dawn. You followed her gaze across the Pizzeria to the monochromatic clown that sat at the booth across from you. His hands were crossed politely, starkly contradicting the scowl he wore on his painted face.
“Is that the guy from earlier?” You asked softly, touching Tara’s arm to subtly get her attention.
She nodded, looking at you like a kicked puppy. She was scared, and you had to admit, this guy didn’t exactly make you feel comfortable, especially when you realize he followed you and your friends here.
Dawn turned her head, blonde hair hitting Tara in the face and sticking to her purple lipstick. “Him?” She pointed a thumb at him, rolling her eyes at you both before standing.
“Excuse me?” Dawn stood in front of the clown, arms crossed and phone in hand. “Uh…excuse me? Can I get a picture with you?”
You shifted uncomfortably. “Dawn, come on.”
Dawn twisted to you, “Shut up,” she scoffed. “Hello?” She lifted a manicured hand to the clown's face and snapped at him. You felt your soul leave your body, especially when he did absolutely nothing to react to Dawn’s antics, instead he stared directly at you, eyes holding yours, face still locked in an ugly glower.
“Okay, I’ll take that as a yes.” Dawn moved closer to him, and you watched in horror as she took a seat in his lap. Even as she forced him to pose for her perverted photoshoot, he did not take his eyes off yours.
After Dawn was satisfied with herself, she stood. “Thanks,” she smiled at him and made her way back to the table.
You and Tara stared in shock at Dawn, completely appalled with what she had just done.
“What the hell is wrong with you?” Tara hissed, turning back to check on the clown.
Dawn rolled her eyes. “What, did you think he was going to hack me up into little pieces or something?”
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath, drunkenly trying to cope with being scared of and now a little sorry for the clown. He might be creepy, but it was wrong of Dawn to do that.
You all got your pizza, and despite keeping a close eye on him, you barely noticed as he snuck off to the bathroom. Minutes later, he was being yelled at and kicked out by the owner, who had just comforted you and your friends. The clown was ushered out of the Pizzeria, and had to hurriedly grab his garbage bag full of who-knows-what. The door was slammed in his face, and as he began to walk away, he locked eyes with you again, lifting his hand to wave at you. Your stomach twisted, but at least he was gone.
You and your friends, now full of pizza and a little less drunk, made your way back to the car. Dawn still stumbled a bit, but pointed her phone screen towards your face.
“Look, we have 18 likes already.” It was the photo of her kissing the creepy clown on the cheek. The picture alone gave you the heebeegeebees. Whoever that dude was, he was creepy.
“Dawn, that was really rude. He was probably uncomfortable.”
“If he was uncomfortable, he could’ve…what happened to the tires?”
You stared in horror as you discovered the holes in all four of Dawn’s tires. A sinking feeling in your stomach weighed you down when you turned to talk to Tara, who was already on the phone with her sister.
You leaned against the car, arms wrapping around yourself in an attempt to stave off the cold October chill. At this moment, you regret dressing the way you did, legs and arms almost completely exposed.
“Okay, Victoria is going to come get us…”
You sighed in relief. Now all you had to do was wait. All three of you leaned against the car in silence, arms wrapped around yourselves.
Tara turned to you and Dawn. “I really have to pee.”
“So go.” Dawn responded nonchalantly.
“Go? I’m not gonna pop a squat in the street like you do.”
Dawn turned to her, hands dropping to her sides. “Well tough shit because it’s gonna be a while until your sister gets here.”
“Fuck…” Tara grumbled, looking around. “Maybe that guy has a bathroom I can use.” She pointed to what looked like a janitor unlocking an abandoned building.
You shivered, watching as Tara walked towards the building. “I…I think I’ll stay here with Dawn…” you said quietly. The idea of going into an abandoned building with a man was not something that appealed to you. And, you figured, if something did happen to Tara, it’s better to have you safe out here to help.
She nodded and began to talk to the man, but she was too far away for you to hear now.
“C’mon, I’m freezing my tits off.” Dawn growled, opening the driver's side door. You walked around to the passengers side, sitting down in the seat. The inside of the car wasn’t too much warmer, but as Dawn turned the key, the heater started up. You sighed in relief and hunched over yourself. You were still on edge, craning your neck to look outside every once in a while. When three separate checks of the sidewalk outside resulted in absolutely nothing, you finally felt comfortable enough to put your head down against your arms and close your eyes.
You heard Dawn flip through radio stations, before stopping on one.
“This is a WNEW breaking news alert. We have a major development in Miles County this evening, where authorities are investigating a double homicide. Two employees at the Deer Hill's Pizzeria were found brutally murdered just moments ago. No suspects are in custody yet but police are on the lookout for a tall, thin man wearing a black and white clown costume and carrying a large garbage bag.”
You sat up quickly, eyes wide and heart pounding. You and Dawn made eye contact for a moment.
“No way…” she said softly.
You reached down to turn up the radio.
“An Eyewitness spotted the suspect after hearing multiple screams. No further details at this moment. Stay tuned, and we'll continue to bring you more breaking updates as they become available.”
The back door opened, but you could barely think, let alone speak.
“Tara, you won’t believe what we just heard on the radio…” you saw from your peripheral, Dawn turning towards Tara in the back, and then suddenly, she was hunched over the steering wheel, blood staining her blonde hair.
You whipped your body around to meet the eyes of the clown you had seen in the Pizzeria. A scream tore its way out of your throat and your entire body shook as you yanked on the door handle. The door was locked, it wouldn’t budge.
You felt hands wrap around your neck, making your hands abandon the door handle. You clawed at the clown's hands as he yanked you out of your seat. Choked cries escaped you but you used all of your power to kick as hard as you could against the dash, forcing your body against the clown’s chest. You heard a small “oof” sound as he exhaled air, and his grip loosened ever so slightly. You struggled against him to reach for the handle, but instead, he grabbed your arms and held them in against your chest.
Your throat was raw from screaming, you were out of breath, and with the heater blasting, sweat dripped down your brow. He had you restrained, and you finally sat still against his chest, the only sound you could hear was your fast breath and heart beating in your ears. You close your eyes tight, expecting him to stab you, break your neck, do anything to kill you. But… it never came.
Instead, he sat still, hand firm against your throat but not squeezing. You felt his long hooked nose against the crook of your neck and heard him inhale deeply. Your chest heaved with the heavy breaths you took and the feeling of him being so close to you made you nervous. You looked down to finally see how you were sitting in his lap.
Your short costume was hiked up around your upper thighs, which were spread from the struggle, one foot pushed against the center console and one firmly planted on the ground. His legs were beneath yours, long and pushing against the seats in front of you. The silky material of his jumpsuit felt nice against your skin and you began to feel a different kind of tension with the clown.
It was hard to keep reminding yourself that he had just killed two people, and attacked one of your best friends, who lay unconscious just a foot away from you. His hands let up on your throat and you relaxed a little bit, until you felt them again at your waist. His touch was rough and unpracticed, grabbing at your thin clothing and yanking at you feverishly.
You could feel your face turning red, the car was so hot and sweat glistened on your skin. You turned to look at him, his eyes were glazed and glued to your chest, mouth open slightly but still formed into a tiny but focused frown.
You had to decide now if you wanted to try to escape or stay and let him do what he wanted. Attempting to escape seemed like it could be dangerous, given the fact that he decided to spare you once already, but you might not be so lucky again. Instead you decided that appeasing the clown was the best way to survive, at least that’s what you told yourself in order to be less weirded out by your attraction towards him.
You decided to turn, which was difficult because of the cramped space you were working with. Your neck craned to avoid the ceiling and your hair fell in front of your eyes. You settled again on his lap and immediately felt his hands on you again, this time on the sides of your thighs. His fingers moved up and traced the edge of your skirt. Your breath hitched and you could feel the butterflies in your stomach as his touch.
The feeling of butterflies rose to your chest as you finally met his gaze, painted eyes staring into yours intensely. The way his eyes seemed so lifeless yet so expressive disturbed you, but you also felt like you couldn’t look away, eyes locked with his as you wrapped your arms slowly around his neck. The eyes you were watching watched your arms move as if he were nervous about you being able to wrap around him. Maybe he felt like you holding him would give you the upper hand somehow, even though he seemed inhumanly strong despite his scrawny frame.
Hands splayed out between his shoulder blades steadied you as you decided to lean into him further, bodies completely pressed together. It was now that you noticed the amount of blood he was soaked in, drops soaking into the white fabric of his clothes and beginning to dry and flake off his cheek. His hands moved further up, now completely under your skirt and toying with the edge of your lace underwear. You hadn’t gotten any action at the Halloween party like you’d hoped, so you guessed you’re glad someone got to see them?
He suddenly looked extremely displeased, and you thought you’d done something wrong. You backed up a little, but followed his eye line to your chest. His hands came up, and you just now noticed that they were covered in blood, and yanked your dress down, your bra joining it. You yelped in surprise at the suddenness of your exposure, tits now on full display for the bloodied clown.
This seemed to fix this issue and he now wore a huge smile flashing stained teeth. You leaned forward again, feeling the soft silk against your chest. You decided to be a little more brave, you leaned down and your lips connected with the side of his neck. He tensed up for a second, but you ran your tongue over the soft skin there before biting down gently with your front teeth. You forgot to account for the fact that he has paint on, which you could definitely taste, but it didn’t bug you enough to stop. His head fell back onto the headrest behind him but his hands never stopped moving. One trailed up your inner thigh and the other palmed your breast, fingers pinching at your already hard nipple.
You closed your eyes tight, focused on the sensation of what was happening as you felt his fingers move closer and closer to where you wanted them. They were bloody and grimy but at this moment you couldn’t care less. Your head was tucked in the crook of his neck and the smell of iron and musk filled your nose, as if he had been covered in the same blood and sweat for days, which you wouldn’t doubt.
His fingers wrapped around the side of your panties and he yanked them, ripping them off like they were made of tissue paper. Your hands wandered down his chest while you finally backed up enough to stare at him. Looking at him like this made you feel ashamed of how much you were enjoying his touch, the moments of you convincing yourself that having sex with the clown was only for survival were over. Despite the shameful feeling, you also didn’t want to stop, you figured that he wouldn’t tell anyone…right? And it’s not like Dawn was going to remember… You felt the zipper situated at the center of his back and slowly started to pull it down until the sides of his suit slid off of his shoulders.
His chest and stomach were exactly as you had expected, muscular but lean, extremely thin and trim. You shifted in order to get his suit down his thighs, and after you settled back in his lap, you felt his cock against your inner thigh, hidden by the tule of your skirt.
The material of your costume scratched your soft thighs as you lifted it with one hand, the other moving down to rub circles on your clit. You sighed, finally feeling some sort of the pleasure you so badly wanted. Your eyes slipped close as the feeling engulfed you completely, only brought out of your trance when you felt his length rub against your entrance. He stared intently at your exposed pussy in a way that assured you he doesn’t do this often.
With a trembling hand you reached down to guide him inside you. You moved slowly, thighs beginning to shake from easing yourself down onto him. With a whimper you sat fully onto him, your ass resting flush on his thighs, which he gripped hard enough to bruise. Blood stained your skin wherever he touched, and you stopped for a moment to wonder whose it was.
Your thoughts were interrupted by a jerky thrust from him. Clearly he wasn’t happy about the fact you hadn’t moved yet. Your walls stretched around him as you lifted yourself halfway off of him, and with a stinging pain you sat back down. All it took was a couple more thrusts for the stinging to turn into unexplainable pleasure. You couldn’t tell if it was the drinks or the danger, or maybe it’d just been far too long since you’d gotten laid, but he felt better than anyone had before.
You held into his shoulders as you feverishly began to move, bouncing against him while also moving your hips in a circular motion. His hands held the small of your back, helping you up and down with a tight grip. At first, his hips were glued to the car seat, letting you do all the work, but as you kept going, he started to meet you halfway, thrusting upwards into you and causing you to bump your head against the ceiling. You stared into his eyes with your own half-lidded ones, fingernails cutting into his bare shoulders. The urge to kiss him was strong, even though you were sure he hadn’t brushed his teeth in a while, so you trailed a hand from his shoulder, up his neck, and finally to his cheek, where you ran a thumb over his bottom lip.
He, as usual, didn’t react to this action, leaving you to guess whether or not he’d be okay with a kiss. You kept one hand on his cheek, the other reaching back and holding the one that was currently squeezing your thigh, and with a surge of confidence, you leaned forward, capturing his lips in a kiss. He didn’t shove you off or hit you over the head like you’d expected, but he didn’t exactly kiss you back. You tasted iron on his tongue and began to feel a heat pool in the bottom of your stomach. Surges of electricity ran through you with every thrust, you whined and whimpered at the feeling, and you knew you were close. The clown’s mouth formed an ‘O’ shape, and suddenly you wished that he’d make a noise. His face contorted into a look of pleasure, lips pulled back and eyebrows furrowed.
One hard thrust made you cum, it felt like lightning went through your entire body. You spasmed against him, thighs tightening against his legs, loud moans coming from your wide open mouth. He stayed still deep inside you, and as you slowly came down from your high you realized he came inside you. You were on birth control, but it hadn’t even occurred to you before that maybe a man covered in someone else’s blood wasn’t the most sanitary to be having unprotected sex with. You sat, panting and sweating on his lap, head leaning against his shoulder. You were a little worried now that he was done with you. That he’d had his fun and wanted to kill you.
You raised your head, he still looked dazed, but stared directly at you. His hands moved towards the inside of your thighs, pushing you off of him. This made your legs twitch but you quickly pushed your skirt back over yourself. He put his arms back through his suit, pointing both thumbs to his back with a goofy smile. He wanted you to zip his zipper. You moved towards him and reached back, arm over his head to grab the zipper at the center of his back. You slowly began to pull his back up and had it almost all the way there when a searing pain went from your rib cage to your chest. You let out a scream, hand flying to the place it hurt most, directly under your armpit of the arm you had raised. You felt wetness, and metal protruding from you. With panic you looked down at your torso and saw what looked like a scalpel stuck in your side. Blood soaked your costume and made its way down to the car seat, making the overwhelming heat of the car so much worse.
You grabbed the handle of the scalpel with your other hand and tried to yank it out, but tears cascaded down your face as you realized it hurt too bad to do it. You turned your head to the clown, who held out a finger and smiled at you. He grabbed the handle of the scalpel and began to count with his fingers, mocking you. 1…2…3. And when he held up three, he yanked the scalpel from you. The scream you let out was inhuman, shredding your vocal cords and hopefully alerting Tara.
You put your arms up in terror to defend yourself, but that didn’t stop him. He shoved your legs down, exposing your stomach completely, and with one swipe, he sliced you open. You felt the intense pain of the blade, then the warmth from the blood, and then you began to feel cold and tired. The coldness scared you, considering you felt like you were melting just seconds before. You were scared to look down and when you finally did, you saw your skin split inches apart, muscle and tissue exposed. You felt like throwing up, you felt numb and nauseous and sleepy and shaky. You stared up at the clown, who wore a terrible grin, as he began to lean forward, dipping his fingers into your gaping wound.
His hands were covered in fresh blood now, shiny and bright. He turned around, writing with your blood on the foggy car window. You watched as he wrote, letter by letter, taking breaks to get more blood from you,‘Art was here’, covering the whole window.
You could barely keep your eyes open when he decided he was done with his fun. He opened the car door, walking out merrily and after he got a breath of the cool October air, he leaned down, one hand on the roof of the car, and he waved at you before he slammed the car door shut, forcing you to look at the words he wrote in your blood.
You closed your eyes. You could hear him open the driver's side door, and heard a groan from Dawn as the car shook, but you couldn’t muster the energy to open your eyes long enough to see where he was taking her. You blinked once, then twice, body shaking again when the car door slammed shut. Your breath was shallow and your eyelids were heavy. You read those words over and over ‘Art was here…’ until you couldn’t anymore.

This is my first time requesting anything from you so I hope this idea is okay but would you be willing to write something where the reader is Alastor's child (I live for Dad Alastor) and they meet Susan? Maybe they get really attached to her so every time they visit Cannibal Town Alastor has to reluctantly take his kid to see 'Grandma Susan' and be civil around her?
Only if you're up for it though! I love your blog so MUCH and I live for both the platonic Alastor and Susan content you do
-TheAmberFist ♡
Good evening my dear! I did headcanons I hope that's alright, I adore your blog's content as well! I reread your "leave it all on the dance floor" series often! I positively adore how you write Alastor's and the readers friendship! Also thank you so much for requesting this because that gives me an excuse to bring back this header!
Papa Alastor doesn't like Grandma Susan.
Alastor & child reader, Susan & adopted against Alastor's will grandchild reader.
Warnings: Cannibalism also reader is a fawn because deers.
HEADCANON TIMEEEEE
Much like my other Papa Alastor fics, he either picked you up off the streets, or you just straight up followed him home like a stray puppy.
He unwillingly became a father.
I imagine he was talking with your Auntie Rosie and You wandered off to explore Cannibal town!
Despite being in hell, it seems safe enough for children considering there were other children around.
Anywho you stumbled upon a cranky Susan and just immediately started going
"I like your dead rodent scarf!"
"It's a fox, what are you blind?"
Long story short she unwillingly became a grandmother that day because you would NOT LEAVE HER ALONE not that she minded
Alastor has to deal with you whining that you want to see Grandma Susan, dude does NOT want to call her your grandmother, in his eyes you only have one grandmother above that you will unfortunately never meet.
"I wanna see Grandma Susan!"
"She's not your grandmother, why in the devil's name would you want to see her?"
"Because she's my grandma,"
"No she's not."
"yes she is!"
"No."
"Yes!"
Que a repeat of no's and yes until he eventually relents because you are NOT TAKING NO FOR AN ANSWER.
I imagine Susan enjoys your company but also uses you to peeve off the embodiment of red-40 that is your parent.
Like Alastor leaves you with her for whatever reason and is just like
"Don't give them any candy, no more then two juice boxes anymore and they get rowdy."
Guess who got a little goodie bag of candies and had a whole box of CapriSuns?
Also I imagine you as a fawn, specifically one of these [no this totally isn't an excuse to show the deer pictures I have saved noooooo]
Susan puts either a bow or bow tie on you, I imagine she breaks into the hotel sometimes when Alastor is out and is just like "I'm taking my grandchild out, fuck off!"
Vaggie tried to stop her once and nearly lost an arm, so far the only ones that are successful in getting Susan to not kidnap you is Angel dust [aka your favorite babysitter] ,Rosie, Alastor himself, for everyone else they have to risk losing limbs, Charlie could probably coax you away from Susan.
They banned her from the hotel, set up security measures.
She keeps getting in they don't know how, they're terrified.
Nothing stops Susan.
Alastor keeps cordial with Susan because he can't do anything to Susan because of Rosie and also because much to his displeasure you are attached to the ornery old bitch.
Alastor wants to take you on a father-child day? Torturing sinners, getting cannibal ice cream, getting souls,
He can't BECAUSE Susan snuck into the hotel and snatched you up!
On the flip side, Susan wants to take you shopping because the modern [1920's-1930's] clothing Alastor dresses you in is horrendous, Her words not mine
But no Alastor literally just picked you up and teleported away, how rude! How dare he keep her from her grandchild?? Ungrateful brat who raised him? [She's lucky Alastor did NOT HEAR THAT, just because he's dead and his ma is in heaven does NOT MEAN HE'S NOT STILL A MAMA'S BOY the good version ]
I imagine as a consequence Susan starts acting like Alastor's parent, like threatening to ground him, telling him to go in the corner and think about what he's done, chastising him for his awful haircut, then grabbing a bowl and scissors.
Alastor hid behind Rosie while Susan and you looked for him because she was definitely planning on giving him a bowl cut.
Good evening folks! Oh how I've missed writing for Susan! I missed our grumpy grandma, I hope you enjoyed this! As per usual thank you for tuning in I hope to see you again soon!

HOCKEY BOYS
part 2; izuku midoryia x fem!reader
synopsis: the captain of japan’s hockey team has his eye on the coach’s daughter
( the smaller font is gonna be a flashback! )
izuku midoryia, the black heron. people never really know what they are, and that’s what adds to his un-expecting nature. the black heron is most known for its unique methods for catching prey. the bird forms its wings to look like an umbrella, keeping out light from under them. the fish then mindlessly assume that this is shelter, some sort of safe haven. that is until the heron strikes, making sure that nothing is left behind.
he never wanted to get into any fights. if he had participated in one it’s likely because he had been roped into it trying to get katsuki out.
there were two reasons he didn't feel the need to fight. one, he just wasn't raised that way. if inko knew that he was picking any fight he could get she would drag him out of the rink by his ear. and the second was you.
"i don't like seeing you get hurt izu. especially when it's because of someone else" you had snuck back into the locker room once all of the players, plus your dad, had went home. the first aid kit sat by your side because he didn't let anybody else tend to him. he had said he was fine, but you weren't just going to let him go on in his current state.
"i know, i'm sorry" he mumbled under his breath, almost embarrassed that you had to see him this way "i just wanted to pull kacchan out of there. you know how he can be"
you placed a band aid on his cheek before placing your hand over it "i know you worry about him, but sometimes it's okay to let him fight his own battles. how will he learn if he never gets a chance?" his eyes gazed into yours and finally gave in. he let out a sigh leaning his head more into your hand.
"you're right. i'm sorry again"
you giggled at the sight of him. practically melting into you with the most apologetic tone. leaning in you placed a soft peck on his lips "it's okay my love. you're just trying to be the best captain you can be"
the kiss left him with a giddy smile on his face. he just loved you so much. it's not like he didn't want to make your relationship known to the world, he did. it's just your father was the problem.
yes, he was an amazing coach and mentor, but he played no games when it came to you. and yes, the two of you were both adults and could do what you wanted. it’s just that both of you knew that the news would probably piss him off for the rest of the season.
it really all started at one of the first practices you had attended, denki decided that it would be a bright idea to discuss just how attractive you were in the locker room.
"i mean did you even see her? she's gorgeous!"
sero chuckled grabbing his jersey "gorgeous, yeah, but she's the coach's kid, so messing with her is some dangerous game you're playing"
denki shrugged with a smirk on his face "i ain't afraid of a challenge" the locker room went silent after that comment. denki lifted his head up with a raised eyebrow "c'mon you can't tell me that you wouldn't want to get with her!"
"get with who exactly?"
the voice made denki's blood run cold. he gulped silently as he turned in his spot. he came face to face with your father who did not look happy. arms crossed, he took another step closer to him.
"get with who?"
“i- nobody-“
“i should shove you against these lockers right now. don’t ever speak of my daughter like that again do you hear me?” he looked up making sure to make eye contact with every single player in that room “this goes out for everyone. if one of you even thinks about getting with her then breakin’ her heart i swear i’ll make your career living hell. do you understand?”
a bunch of yes sir’s could be heard around the room. it was right on time, because you had just made your way into the locker room but with your back turned.
“everyone is decent right? i don’t wanna see anyone’s junk”
“you’re fine y/n” your dad shook his head as you turned around with a smile. in your hand you held a plate of cookies with labels on some of them “sweetheart, why would you bring those everyone’s on a strict diet”
you rolled your eyes taking off the plastic wrap “dad i know. that’s why i made the healthier cookies not the regular ones. they have flaxseed, bananas, oats, stuff like that!” you looked around the room with a happy smile “does anybody want one?”
the team looked down at the plate of cookies, then at you father. he nodded in approval which made them cheer in approval. you went around the locker room handing them each a cookie. when you got to izuku it was like the world stopped for a moment. freckles scattered across his face, and shifting when he went to smile.
his smile.
it was one of those things that you would never get tired of.
you’ve had a crush on him for a while, but had only seen him on television or from a distance. when your father said you could help out at the rink you’ve never been faster to agree.
“y/n?”
the sound of your name quickly pulled you from your daydreaming. izuku had been calling your name growing concerned each time you didn’t answer.
“sorry! i zoned out for a second there”
the smile made its way back onto his face hearing you were okay “good, i just wanted to know what the options were”
you explained everything that you had and he ended up taking one of the more plain cookies. deciding it was now or never, you made some conversation.
“you’re the captain right? how’s captaining?” what a smooth talker you were.
he chuckled a bit at your question “yeah, i am. captaining has been good. just hoping i can lead my guys to victory, y’know?”
you nodded along ready to leave before you embarrassed yourself any more, but there was one more thing you had to say.
“you’re doing great. the way you encourage your teammates and bring them all together is really inspiring. you can even tell the difference in the way they’re playing. just keep doing what you’re doing” with a smile you walked off going to hand off the last of your cookies.
red, everything was red. izuku had to turn his whole body just to make sure your father didn’t see the way he was blushing. the compliments you gave him were like cupid’s arrows to the heart.
katsuki stood next to him watching the whole interaction go down. with a shake of his head he sighed “you’re in fuckin’ trouble”
you had been “seeing” each other for a couple of weeks, but decided to make it official about six months ago. both of you being extremely happy and secure in your current relationship, and maybe when the hockey season was over you could really settle.
by the next game, izuku could take the small bandages off his face. there was no pre-game routine the two of you had, you didn’t need one. he knew you were there for him and only him, and you trusted him enough not to do anything. though you did keep a piece of him with you as he played.
usually you would wear a hoodie to games, so underneath you would wear one of his shirts. and don’t think forgot about you. izuku had carved your initials into his favorite hockey stick long ago. you decided on sitting in the box with the players on the bench, just on a separate chair. this game would be a big one, and you could tell by your fathers pacing back and forth.
“they’ve got this dad, don’t worry”
he sat down next to you with a heavy sigh “i know honey. we just can’t have anything go wrong” you gave him a pat on the back as you watched them line up. izuku had took his place with a focused gaze.
he was naturally a fun and playful person, but as soon as he stepped onto that ice, it was go time.
the starting sound rang out and they were off. speeding across the ice like their lives depended on it. you cheered every time a goal was scored making sure izuku could hear you above the others.
they were doing amazing in the first two periods. always up by at least three points. plus not even one fight insinuated from katsuki. it’s in the third period where you saw things start to get a little rocky. izuku was starting to slip. every time a certain player from the opposing team got near him he would miss a shot completely.
your dad whistled for him to come back over to the bench “kid the hell are you doing? get it together before you’re benched for the rest of the game, you hear me?” izuku gave him a silent nod, but you could tell that he was barely listening. you wanted to reach out, to ask what’s wrong, but all you could do was sit back and watch it happen. it was a good minute before izuku was let back on the ice again.
he had seemed to regather himself and was able to shoot a few passes, but once the player came back it all went downhill.
you could see your dad shaking his head out of the corner of your eye “dad maybe it’s just an off day. everybody has them-“
you had looked away for a second.
and when you looked back you saw izuku yelling at one of the players from the other team. the player had shoved him hard which gave izuku an opening. balling up his fists he sent a punch directly to his right cheek, but he didn’t stop there. he made sure to grab his jersey and pull him down to the ground with one hand and still tried to punch him with the other.
the refs finally stopped it when they saw the other guys nose was starting to bleed. two of them just had to pull izuku off the guy. he had been so distracted by what the guy said he didn’t even know he had kept going. you watched as they didn’t even drag him to the penalty box, but off the ice.
he couldn’t even look at you as he walked down the hallway back into the locker rooms.
“what the hell’s gotten into him-“
you didn’t wait for your dad to finish his sentence as you climbed over the small wall and headed down into the locker rooms.
“izu?” you saw him sitting on one of the benches head down and in his hands. there was some room next to him so you sat down gently rubbing his back “baby what happened out there?”
he didn’t talk right away, just trying to get his breathing back under control.
“they were just- just talking a bunch of shit. i didn’t care when they were doing it about me, that’s whatever. but somehow they know about me and you. the only people that really know is the team. i’m not sure how it even got to him”
it finally clicked. how he was playing, how the players kept getting close to him.
“you did it cause they were talking about me? izu you didn’t have to”
he shook his head “no, no i did have to. y/n you’re my girlfriend. if you think i’m gonna let some douchebag insult you when you’re not there to defend yourself then you’re crazy”
“oh izu” you cupped the other side of his cheek going to turn his head to face you. at first he wouldn’t meet your eyes, but it didn’t take long for his to find yours again “i am very thankful that you defended me like that. i would even say it was very, very hot”
this made him laugh, showing the smile you fell in love with.
“what i’m trying to say is thank you” you leaned in giving him a long kiss. when you pulled away you finally noticed the cuts and spot that was definitely going to bruise “i’ll get something to clean you up” you went to turn on the bench but stopped seeing someone standing in the doorway. the two of you stared in shock for a second before you got up “dad don’t do anything stupid”
he walked closer to the two of you, nodding his head towards the other hallway “the first aid kit hasn’t been refilled from the last fight. can you go find someone who can do that for us?”
“dad i don’t think”
“y/n”
“fine” you leaned down to kiss izuku’s cheek, but also whispered in his ear “i’ll be right back”
once you turned the corner, your father sat down next to izuku with a sigh. the green haired male looked down at his hands unsure what to say.
“son-“
“i love your daughter” he blurted out cheeks bright pink from embarrassment “really, really love her. and i know you don’t want anyone from the team dating her-“
“midoryia-“
“no sir, i’m sorry i have to finish this” izuku looked him straight in his eyes a small lump forming in his throat. this could either go amazingly well, or absolutely horrible. your father stared him down for a couple of seconds before nodding that he could continue “thank you sir” after taking a deep breath he went on to start.
“i tried to respect your wishes, i did. but every time i saw her, it was like i was drawn to her. i wanted to make her laugh because i love her laugh. and i wanted to make her smile more than anyone or anything. you raised such a kind, beautiful, and caring daughter that i just- just can’t imagine my life without. sorry if you think this is not manly of me, it’s definitely not how i thought this was going to go. thought i’d puff my chest out and do some big ‘it’s not your choice anyway’ shit but i’m not like that” he shook his head “you’re her father, and i respect that. i wanted to let you know how i really feel, and that she’s in good hands”
your father listened intently to izuku’s lovesick rambling. he noticed the way he smiled when he talked about you. along with some far off look in his eye. probably daydreaming about the future the two of you hold. lifting up a hand he clapped izuku on the back “i appreciate everything you’ve said. and i hope this doesn’t make it any less when i say this but.. i already knew about the two of you. maybe not dating but i could tell from every interaction the two of you had that something was going on”
izuku’s mouth hung open at the news. he just couldn’t believe that he had hid it for this long.
“i trust you. i trust you on the ice, and i trust you with my daughter. you’ve been nothing but good to her. so if you want my blessing you’ve had it for a long time. for what you two are doing now, and any plans you have in the future” with his other hand he tapped one of izuku’s fingers making his face turn a deeper shade of red.
“thank you sir. i’ve been thinking about it a lot lately and-“
“thinking about what?” you asked walking into the room with a first aid kit. eyebrows knit together at the sight of your fathers hand on izuku’s shoulder “dad please tell me you didn’t threaten him or something. i’m a grown woman and i think i should be able to be with whoever i want” you’ve been mustering up the courage to say that ever since you’ve retrieved the first aid kit. your father got up heading over to you.
“i agree”
“i can try to see where you’re coming from but- huh?” you stopped your practiced speech when he came over to hug you.
“he’s a good kid, and i can tell he loves you” he placed a gentle kiss at the top of your head “im sorry that i made you feel like you needed to hide this from me. your mother has told me countless times that we need to set boundaries and i never listened, but i am now”
you started to tear up, but quickly blinked them away “thank you dad. that means a lot” a horn sounded meaning that the brake was now over. he stepped away going back into the doorway before turning around.
“midoryia this doesn’t mean that you’re off the hook. you’re out for the rest of the game so get cleaned up” he pointed towards the two of you “but not together”
your face got hot and you grabbed the nearest jacket and threw it at him “get out!” he let out a roaring laugh that echoed through the halls until he was gone. shaking you head you sat next to izuku again “the audacity of that man” you mumbled going to open up the first aid kit but he stopped you.
izuku gently grabbed your one hand placing a kiss to your wrist. this made you giggle but you didn’t pull away “what’s with you?”
he then placed a kiss to the back of your hand “i’m just happy he found out. it’s like a weight lifted off my shoulders” you hummed in agreement.
“so what did you tell him?”
the last kiss was placed on your fingers. the fingers that intertwined with his own. the fingers that held his face every time you wanted his attention. the fingers that soon would be accented with a beautiful wedding ring.
“the truth”

“Safe with me.”
Synopsis: How he reacts when his s/o gets injuried. Characters involved: fatui!Scaramouche, Xiao, & Childe. TW: Very mild descriptions of injuries. A bit of cussing. Probably not a trigger, but this could be OOC. A/N: Ah yes, the good ol’ ‘injured reader’ hcs/scenarios. I got lazy near the middle of Scaramouche’s scenario, so eh. Have fun with that. I wish I could’ve come up with a better title, but that’s all my brain juice managed to squeeze out. Also, I think I’m getting the hang of formatting! Haha. This might be out of character so bear with me. As always, GN!reader. NOT proofread.
Request status: open!
— You and I both know damn well he isn’t going to take this situation lightly. When I say he is upset, I mean he's pissed. Infuriated, even. How dare someone have the audacity to injure his significant other? Are they simply begging for death? — If you try to make light of the situation, he’ll shoot you a piercing glare to shut you up. He doesn’t find these circumstances to be amusing at all. Even if your injuries aren’t too grim, he’s still going to dispose of the treasure hoarders, and yes he’ll do it behind your back even if you oppose that idea. He isn’t a fatui harbinger for nothing. There isn’t anything you can do that will hinder him from annihilating them.
“Worthless as expected.”
You bit down gently on your lip as those harsh words sliced through your ears. Even though at this point you were used to Scaramouche’s degradation, it still stung a bit to hear those words easily exit his mouth. You weren’t given enough time to ponder over your boyfriend’s hurtful words because shortly after, the sharp stinging of alcohol swabs dabbed repeatedly on your open cuts. A hiss of pain was instantly drawn out of your lips. Hell, cleaning the wound hurt worse than the actual injury itself.
"It isn’t my fault that the treasure hoarder snuck up behind me,” You mumbled, rolling your eyes at him. Your hands clenched in your lap, being balled up into a fist when the swab tainted with rubbing alcohol hit a particularly deep cut on your shoulder. Scaramouche’s indigo-colored eyes flicked over to your clenched fists for a brief moment before he went back to cleaning up your wound. “mistakes happen.”
The room falls silent, the only noises being the grinding of your teeth and the occasional hiss of pain slipping past your lips despite your efforts to keep it down. While Scaramouche still managed to maintain his cold demeanor just as always, you failed to notice the slightest hint of worry in his gaze with each pained noise and every sign of discomfort you displayed. The truth was, he was utterly disgusted. Not at you nor your actions, but with the existence of that one treasure hoarder who held the audacity to lay his repulsive hand on you. The hand that held such a tight grip on the dagger that sliced cleanly through your flesh, ripping a large hole in your clothes as well as your skin. When the news had reached him that his significant other got wounded during a battle, Scaramouche was livid. The wound itself was not fatal, but still. However, it was fine now. He was here with you, tending to your wounds. You’re okay.
“Are you an idiot?” A bitter scoff was brought out of his mouth, his fiery orbs seemingly drilling holes into your soul with how intense his glare was. He tossed aside the cotton swab that was now covered in blood and reached into the first aid kit to pull out a bandage. The pads of his fingers brushed softly against your skin as he delicately wrapped a bandage onto your shoulder. His face softened as he spoke the next words, his voice still remaining cold, yet there was also warmth detected in his tone. “I wasn’t mocking you, I was referring to how pathetic the treasure hoarder looked as he begged on his knees for mercy.”
You blink once and then twice in confusion as you try to process his words. Oh, so that’s what he meant. A sheet of awkwardness fluttered down in the room. Both parties remained silent once again. Scaramouche glowered down at the first aid kit as he began to put away the clean roll of bandages and cotton swabs. The transparent box was snapped shut, the sharp noise being obnoxious in contrast to the deathly quiet room.
“You’re lucky those useless underlings found you when they did. Who knows what would’ve happened had they not spotted you. You’d be dead!” His voice was the first to break the silence. In fact, he had done that twice in a row now. You weren’t surprised in the slightest. You already knew he would start scolding you the second he was sure you were safe. It was just his way of showing how much he valued your safety. “Now, I need you to tell me just what the hell went through your mind when you decided to let your guard down in the middle of a fight.”
The lecture lasted two hours straight. About 90% of it was him constantly telling you to stop being in your own little la-la world and to pay more attention when in a fight. There was no mistaking the sprinkle of fear hidden behind his eyes as he scolded you mercilessly. Yet, despite how harshly he was reprimanding you, you couldn’t help but notice how tightly his arms were wrapped around your waist later that night. How he held you a little bit closer to him when you two retired for the night.
You weren’t allowed to go complete any commissions the next day. Mr. Fandango man held you hostage in the camp. And when you were finally permitted, — yes, permitted. He’s paranoid, okay? — to go do your daily comissions, he stationed some fatui underlings to accompany you with your work. If he wasn’t so busy, then he’d go with you himself considering he’s much more reliable than some worthless underlings. However, he made sure himself that the underlings were qualified enough to look out for you.
Better safe than sorry.
— Hm, I wonder what kind of flowers your culprit wants at their funeral. Maybe sunflowers? Ooh, how about daisies? Heck, Childe will pay for them himself out of spite. — You thought he was clingy before you got hurt? Well, multiply that by a hundred. He’ll be spoiling you rotten during your time being injured, despite the wound being just a couple of teensy weensy cuts. — It’s not just little cuts in the grand scheme of things, okay? Anything can get tainted by bacteria, which can then lead to an infection, which could also lead to death, and then- and then-! (we get it, childe. chill.)
“I brought you some flowers.”
Your head swivels in the direction of the sudden, yet familiar voice that had just come out of nowhere. You had been preoccupied with cleaning the minor cuts that were littered across your fingers. It wasn’t anything too bad. It was all due to some sharp ice that a cryo abyss mage had spawned above your form. Luckily, you had dodged it fairly quickly. The problem was that the large block of ice had completely shattered when it smashed onto the ground, the tiny shards of ice flying up into the air and cutting up your hands.
A head of messy ginger hair comes into your line of sight. It was your significant other, Childe. He was holding a bouquet of roses in his gloved hands as he slowly approached the table you were sitting at, pulling out one of the wooden chairs and sitting down on it across from you. “Are those for me?” You asked, pointing your forefinger at the flowers he held in his hand. It was almost impossible not to let your eyes wander over the gorgeous bright red petals. They looked as if they had been tended to with the utmost care before being picked fresh. You could only imagine how sweet the aroma must smell.
“Who else would it be for?” The tone of his voice was teasing as he passed the bouquet over to you. You gratefully accepted it, and after pressing your face into the soft petals to get a nice big whiff of the pleasant smell, you gently placed the roses in a glass jar that was filled with various kinds of flowers. Cecilias that had been imported from Monstadt, qingxins that were plucked from the highest mountains in Liyue, and hell, you even had sweet flowers in the jar.
And they had all come from Childe. That wasn’t even counting the scrumptious, expensive sweets he had bought for you as well. He had been spoiling you rotten ever since the scuffle you had with the abyss mage. On the contrary, you hadn’t gotten injured that badly. It was just a couple of cuts on your hands. Although, the 11th of the fatui harbingers didn’t just treat it as if it were just ‘some cuts.’ He had been treating you as if you were fragile porcelain. Something that couldn’t be easily replaced if broken so carelessly. His eyes trailed over to the small bandages that were fitted on your hands. The worried and slightly enraged look in his big blue eyes hadn’t faded away the entire day.
“Are you feeling better, darling?” Childe lowered his voice to a gentle whisper as he kindly took your hand in his own, taking extra care in trying to avoid holding it too tightly lest it stings for you. The fabric of his gloves felt soft against your hands as he held them gently. A coy smile fell across his lips. “I take it you liked the flowers?” You nodded your head leisurely as a response. While you felt slightly embarrassed due to how much he’d been spoiling you, you couldn’t help but feel loved. Despite his status as a fatui harbinger, which would scare many people off, you couldn’t help but love him dearly. He appreciated you and your presence greatly and treated you as if you were a higher deity. Like you were the jam to his peanut butter.
The grip he held on your hands tightened ever so slightly as he continued to gaze deeply into your eyes, a loving, yet determined look in his own. You were here, safe with him. He would protect you till the day either you or he perished. Damn it all if he ever failed to protect you again.
You are the love of his life, and he is yours. Nothing could ever change that fact.
“By the way, did I tell you about how I murdered every abyss mage in the vicinity and beyon-”
“Childe, what.”
— He is freaking out. — Why didn’t you call out his name? Didn’t he tell you countless amounts of times to call out for him if you ever found yourself in danger? He was supposed to protect you, damn it! — He blames himself for it. 100%. He should have been cautious and kept by your side. He should’ve been there, and he wasn’t. — Even after he tears through the treasure hoarders with his spear, he still feels furious the more and more he stares at your wounds. How. Dare. They? — While he’s also furious, he’s also terrified. He can’t lose you. He can’t. He just can’t.
Your vision was blurry and your mind felt foggy as your brain scrambled around to try and process what was happening. Everything had been going well a few minutes prior to this very moment. You were on your merry way to Wangshu Inn to visit your beloved, when suddenly you got ambushed with a horde of swords and bows. The roughness of the rope dug deeply into the skin of your wrists as you were pressed up against a tree, your body battered and bruised. It had all happened in mere seconds. You barely had enough time to process or defend yourself from all that was happening, let alone even think about calling out for your significant other. And when your brain did clear up enough to think about calling him, you felt hesitant to do so.
You watched in a daze as the treasure hoarders ruffled through your belongings in your bag. All of your items were strewn around the camp so carelessly. The treasure hoarders didn’t want to just settle for your pocketbook. The greed that filled up their hearts gave them an intense lust for riches. Not that you had any. You hated every single moment of this scenario. It felt as if you were some helpless damsel in distress whom relied on others to come and save them. It was humiliating.
But it was either get saved or more than likely suffer a gruesome death.
“Xia-!”
Before you can even finish speaking his name, all of the treasure hoarders are dead and lying lifeless on the ground, Xiao standing menacingly over their still bodies. Your face paled just looking at the sight. While you knew your boyfriend wasn’t a stranger to ending lives, he never unleashed his fury in front of you. However, you knew it would happen either way. Xiao wasn’t a merciful soul to those who harmed the people he actually gave a shit about. Even if he didn’t like killing humans, he’d do so without a thought if a measly mortal were to put your life at risk. It had taken Xiao a split second to stalk up to your restrained form to break you free of the restraints that held you in place. Before you could utter a single word to break the silence, you felt callous hands untying you from the oak tree. The scent of fresh blood floated up your nostrils, the strong metallic smell making your stomach feel queasy. At this point, Xiao had gotten rid of his mask and was focused on getting you safe and sound. His eyebrows scrunched together in sheer frustration as his eyes scoured over every inch of your body, the bruises and slashes never once leaving his eyes. While there was also fury, there was also a clear sense of worry shown through how shaky his fingers were as he finally undid the ropes, how uneven his breathing was as he caught you in his arms. (more like snatched you into his arms.) He was trying his hardest to remain calm, but he couldn’t.
“Xiao, I-”
“…Are you okay?”
Even his voice trembled as he desperately tried to keep up a stoic facade. You knew he was panicking. He knew he was panicking. How could anyone not panic upon seeing their significant other is bruised and bleeding? While the injuries certainly would not result in your death, all he could think about was what could have happened. He could be burying your body right now instead of holding you close to him. He clutched you as if you were his most prized possession, which you were. He knew he had to get you to a healer, but he had the hardest time letting you go. He needed to hear you say it. To say that you were all right. That you wouldn’t leave him.
Your arms wrapped around his torso as you hugged him gently, slowly rubbing your hand up and down his back soothingly as you tried to comfort him. “It’s all right, Xiao. I’m still here. I won’t leave you. I’m okay.”
Those words were all it took for him to crumble down. His hands tightened around your waist exponentially as he held you close, his head pressed into his shoulder as he calmed yourself with his presence.
It would all be okay in the end. Because when it all came down to it…
“You’re safe with me, (name). No one will ever hurt you again. I swear it.”
“That’s nice and all, but could I please go to a doctor-”
“Oh, right.”

camp counselor! abby
i'm at an overnight camp rn and i'm thinking about abby...
campcounselor!abby who would catch your eye the first night of camp when you walk into the showers as she's walking out with only a towel around her, displaying her broad shoulders and strong muscles.. she would totally catch you staring and blushing and she would love every second of it. when she realizes how long you've been staring at her she loudly clears her throat and you get all flustered trying to explain yourself but no coherent sentence comes out
the next morning at your first cabin meeting you would connect the dots and realize the woman from the showers' name was abby and she was your counselor!!! it embarrasses you so much but when she catches your eye she winks at you and smirks which makes you even more embarrassed
campcounselor!abby who would always sit next to you in the food hall during meals even though all the other camp counselors sat together at another table. people would stare but she didn't care.
campcounselor! abby who would make desperate attempts to talk to you when you're hanging with your friends and they'd just stare at her weird but you'd secretly felt bad for her because she was really sweet to you...
one night after the camp fire she walks you back to your cabin and pulls you behind the building and asks if she can kiss you because she's sweet like that. you would ofc say yes! she would kiss you so gently and sweetly and you both return to your bunks all smitten
campcounselor!abby who, when guiding your group through rock climbing, would unconsciously place her hands on your waist and direct where to place your feet next. the others would whisper and wonder why abby was paying so much extra attention to you
it takes everything in her to not be touching you all the time around everyone, especially her boss...
she would ofc still sneakily place her hand on your thigh under the table or place her hand on the small of your back while "passing" you
NSFW!! MDNI!!!
campcounselor! abby who would always think about fucking you from the second she saw you all flustered for her. she'd feel guilty about always having these dirty thoughts about you since she's supposed to be your superior and role model but she just thinks you're too cute and sexy to not touch herself every night in her bunk to the thought of you...
one night at dinner she whispers to you to meet her at her bunk bed once everyone's asleep late at night... she'd be okay with just cuddling you but a part of her is hoping for something more
of course you'd want her as well so that night you put on your cutest thong with a bow on the waistband hoping to impress her
once everyone was asleep and you snuck to her bed, she opened her arms to you in which you promptly snuggled between them and let her spoon you
campcounselor! abby who would soak through her boxers at the way your ass presses against her crotch
campcounselor!abby who would lose control of herself and starts grinding her pussy on your ass thinly veiled by your tight pajama shorts
campcounselor!abby who would whisper in your ear "is this okay bun?" as she snaked her rough hands to your front to knead your boobs and lightly tease your clit. "y-yes please abs" you whisper back
campcounselor! abby who would fuck you with her thick fingers while she got herself off by grinding on you
campcounselor!abby who would whisper in your ear "shut the fuck up, stupid slut" and when you'd softly whine in response she would whisper "don't want anyone in this cabin hearing us now do we bun? you'd probably like that wouldn't you, huh? want everyone to know that i'm making you feel this good?" she circles your clit faster and faster as you reach your peak and shudder in her big strong arms. she practically has to cover your mouth to shut you up with how loud you were being
you cuddle in her arms and she gives you kisses all over before she walks you back to your bed so you don't get caught with her in bed
youve never came as hard before as you did that night and the next morning she's really sweet to you at breakfast offering to get you things and rubbing your legs and back

summary: Manipulated into a secret relationship with Rafe Cameron, you’re finding it much easier said than done to do the right thing and walk away…especially when he refuses to let you.
~
“I’m calling in that favor.”
The voice at your ear made you jump, and you looked over, startled by both the sight of Rafe and his close proximity. You were at The Wreck, waiting to pick up an order for your dad when he snuck up on you. You couldn’t help but note the smell of some cologne he was wearing, light and airy and not so suffocating like other types. It seemed to come from the sliver of skin that was revealed by his white button down, and realizing that you were staring, you looked away.
“Um…okay,” you said, swallowing and letting out a nervous chuckle.
If at all possible, he found a way to move closer, hand on the counter as he rhythmically tapped a finger on it.
“My dad and Rose are having a little get together. Celebrating their bullshit marriage, I guess, and since I’m required to be there, I figured I shouldn’t have to suffer alone.”
He was teasing, a small smile on his face, and you returned it, laughing to yourself. You had the brief thought though that this sounded like a date, and your smile waned. Rafe was probably one of the best looking guys on this island, and God knows you couldn’t lie and say you weren’t dazzled by him even just a little bit, but the thought made you frown.
For one thing, Pope would lose his mind, and while you didn’t go around being bossed around by Pope, Pope would have every reason to be upset by this. Also, you felt you were getting ahead of yourself, reading too much into what was probably a simple favor. The thought of Rafe being into you was laughable in your mind. He just didn’t date girls like you.
“Like…a date…?”
“Nah, no,” he was quick to tell you, and you hated the way your heart sank a bit at his quick denial. “You’re kind of fun, Heyward.”
Your face heated up at that, your smile returning.
“…and I think I’d be less likely to kill myself if you were there.”
You exhaled, looking away.
“Won’t…Sarah be there? I mean, I can tell Pope that it’s not a date until I’m blue in the face, but he’s not going to hear it.”
Rafe laughed at that, like he found your worry about Pope finding out funny.
“No, Sarah won’t be there. Your brother and their friends have taken John B.’s van to God knows where and probably won’t be back until tomorrow. I saw them leave with Sarah this morning.”
“Huh.”
You had noticed that you hadn’t seen Pope all day, not even when you woke up, but it wasn’t abnormal for you, so you hadn’t given it much thought.
“So, it’s tonight?”
“Last minute, I know, but to make up for the short notice,” you watched him reach down to grab a bag you hadn’t even noticed. “I got you something to wear. It’ll put a smile on their face, so…”
You were torn between being flattered or offended. On the one hand, no guy had ever bought you anything before, date or not. On the other, you didn’t know if you imagined the insinuation that Rafe was basically saying he didn’t think you owned anything that would impress Ward and Rose. He would be right, though, but you didn’t think you liked it.
“You seemed sure that I would say yes.”
“I hoped,” he said with a shrug, a crooked smile on his pink lips as he held the bag out to you.
Reluctantly, you took it, and his smile grew.
“Okay,” you finally relented, shrugging.
“Good, good,” he replied, straightening and looking towards the kitchen. “When your order’s ready, let me drop you off. I’ll swing back by to pick you up at 8.”
He brushed his hand over your shoulder and was gone before you could protest, and you were forced to go along with that, you guessed. He kept his word, helping you carry the food before helping you into his truck. Your dad seemed very happy to wave Rafe goodbye when he dropped you off, and you couldn’t gage his reaction as you told him about tonight.
“Anniversary party?”
“Something like that,” you said, licking your lips. “Since I’ve been tutoring Wheezie, they wanted to be polite and invite me.”
You hated lying, but you didn’t know how it would go if you told your dad Rafe invited you. Again, like Pope, you could tell him that it wasn’t date, but he’d never buy it. Your dad trusted you, at least you were sure, but you were positive any normal dad would flinch at the sight of their teenage daughter dating a slightly older guy. It wasn’t like Rafe was your dad’s age or anything close to it, but he just seemed so much older sometimes, more mature, and being around him was slightly intimidating.
“Well…alright. That seems fair. Very nice of them too,” he said, crossing his arms over his chest with a nod.
He seemed satisfied enough, and you relaxed.
As you got ready, you didn’t know why you were nervous. Rafe had said it wasn’t a date, and the thought was beyond silly anyway, but you couldn’t get your heart to stop racing. In all the other settings you’d been in with Rafe, it was so casual and usually surrounded by dumb teenagers and college students who weren’t giving you a second thought. That first night was the only exception, and even then, you couldn’t focus on anything other than being embarrassed to be rescued by your brother’s friend’s brother.
However, this was way more formal. You’d be by Rafe in front of his parents and whatever other rich Kooks they’d invited. You were starting to remind yourself of Pope, but you couldn’t help it. You were hyperaware of everything. Your hair, your makeup, and even what you might say. You were sure you’d sweat out of the all-white outfit Rafe had picked out.
He wasn’t even a minute late, and you didn’t miss the way his blue eyes lit up as you answered the door. He looked you over, admiring his work apparently, before taking your hand and making you awkwardly spin.
“It looks nice on you.”
A neutral compliment. You smiled, thanking him.
“The actual dinner portion will last all of thirty minutes if that,” he told you while on the way.
You looked him over as he talked, thinking he looked so proper in a simple polo and khakis. He didn’t look like himself, and you felt a little better that you weren’t the only one being made up like a doll.
“So, once the adults—well, the older adults, start doing their thing, we can honestly fuck off to wherever.”
“Okay.”
You nodded, looking out of the window and lightly pulling at your skirt. You thought you could feel Rafe’s eyes on you, and a moment later, his hands was pulling at yours.
“Stop,” he said, making you look at him. “You look fine.”
He said it so confidently that you told yourself the same.
Ward was definitely surprised to see you when you walked through the door, but he pulled you into a polite hug, nonetheless. Rose did the same, and Wheezie boldly asked if you were Rafe’s girlfriend with a small frown on her face. You were quick to shut that down, and Rafe just chuckled into his glass as he sipped on what you assumed was a virgin drink. Ward seemed like a very straight laced kind of man.
There definitely wasn’t as many people as you feared there would be, but for some reason, that made you even more nervous. Your cheeks hurt from your tight smile, answering questions about school and summer plans.
“I took a year off too,” some older man told you, a friend of Ward’s. “Best decision I ever made.”
When he proceeded to ask you about fancy colleges, that was where he lost you. You definitely had the grades and extracurriculars for it, but the money…well, that was another thing entirely. Just as Rafe had predicted, dinner lasted all of thirty minutes, and when the formalities disappeared and everyone started to just mingle outside, you found yourself looking at a painting in one of the halls.
“Some expensive thing Rose just had to have,” a familiar voice drawled from behind you. “Rose is big on art and pottery and…”
He trailed off when you faced him, dismissively waving his hand, and you wondered how long he’d been standing there.
You got the feeling he didn’t care for his stepmother all that much.
“I can see why you invited me,” you told him. “It’s very…proper.”
“Stuffy.”
“Refined.”
“Uptight.”
You and Rafe teasingly stared each other down, and you relented, throwing up your hands.
“I was trying to be nice about it, but-.”
“Why?” he scoffed, moving closer. “Call it what it is.”
He roughly exhaled, nursing a darker drink that you were sure wasn’t so virgin.
“All they do is sit around and pat each other on the back for being so rich and sophisticated and smart to make deal after deal.”
You tilted your head at him as he took a sip, pressing your lips together.
“Don’t do that. You like being rich just as much as they do.”
He smirked, eyes cutting to you, not denying it.
“I’m not criticizing them for being rich. I’m criticizing them for being boring,” he corrected you. “All the money in the world and this is what they choose to do with their time.”
You didn’t disagree with him there, and your gaze was drawn to another painting. Again, you thought you could feel him staring at you, and when you looked at him, you found that you were right. Rafe was the type who wasn’t embarrassed about being caught, and so he kept staring.
“I’m glad you came with me, tonight.”
His sudden sincerity threw you, and you licked your lips, nodding.
“You asked, and…I do kind of owe you.”
The house felt empty aside from you two.
“Still,” he breathed. “Tonight was actually a little fun because of you, so…”
He held his hand out, nodding towards the stairs.
“Come on. I don’t want to be the only one drinking,” he joked.
At least, you thought he was joking, but even if he wasn’t, you neared him and slipped your hand in his anyway.
You were half asleep when you heard it.
Tap.
It was clear as day in your ear, the sound echoing throughout your quiet room, but you’d convinced yourself you’d imagined it when you heard it again. Your lashes fluttered, and you rolled to your back, staring at your ceiling with a frown before turning your head towards your window. The figure that stood there had your heart attempting to climb out of your throat, and you sat up so fast it made your head spin. However, it took you all of seven seconds to recognize how familiar they looked.
With a confused frown, you slid off of your bed and made your way to the window.
“Rafe?”
It was without a doubt the very blond who had somehow become something akin to…a friend these days.
“What are you doing here?”
You didn’t even know how late it was, and as much as Rafe had scared you awake by standing outside of your window, your eyes felt tight with sleep. You noticed the tautness in his face, jaw clenched and eyes not as warm and teasing as you had become used to. Your frown deepened. He pulled his lip between his teeth, glancing away with a small sigh before meeting your eyes again.
“Can I come in?”
Your heart skipped a beat, and you worriedly looked at your closed door like your parents would somehow sense this man asking for entry to your bedroom.
“Why…?” you slowly wondered, confusion growing.
You watched him take a deep breath, and as his knuckles strained against your window sill, you noticed they were slightly bruised. Worry swirled in your gut, and when you looked back up, Rafe was looking at you, and you knew he knew you noticed.
“To tell you the truth,” he sounded reluctant to do just that. “I got into it with my dad…”
Your shoulders drooped.
“…and I just couldn’t be in that house, right, so… I’m driving and I’m driving, and I’m thinking that I don’t want to be around Topper or Kelce either who’s just going to give me some coke or put a drink in my hand or crack jokes when I’m actually fucking pissed.”
The venom in his tone shocked you, and you blinked at this other side of him.
“It wasn’t until I was almost here that I realized where I was going…and I just… I just wanted to see you.”
He scratched the back of his head, and your chest clenched.
“No…yeah. Yeah, that’s fine. I… Come in.”
You moved out of the way, swallowing at the sight of Rafe Cameron climbing through your window. It didn’t seem real, and you shook your head.
“Do you need anything? Ice or…?” you trailed off, eyeing his knuckles again and wondering if that’s what he meant when he said he got into it with Ward.
You hoped not.
“Nah, this isn’t from that. I punched a wall,” he told you, and it sounded so ridiculous you couldn’t help but to let out a nervous laugh.
“You punched a wall?”
He nodded, looking away from you and instead taking in your room.
“Are you sure you don’t want ice or anything? That has to hurt,” you whispered.
He didn’t answer you at first, slowly walking around your room and studying every poster, every picture on your mirror, and every random item you hadn’t gotten around to putting in it’s proper place.
“Nah,” he drawled. “I’ll be fine. Not the first time.”
His words made you frown, and you suddenly felt…sad for Rafe. You never imagined you would. He had everything someone his age could want, and you felt so narrowminded all of a sudden, wondering why you thought his money and fancy upbringing secured a happy life. You and your parents had your spats, sure, but they’d never made you angry enough to want to punch anything. It made you shake your head.
Even crazier, Rafe had come to you. Not the friends he’d had his whole life, but you.
When he got done with his perusal, his eyes fell to you, drinking you in, and you only just became aware of the t-shirt that hit your knees. It wasn’t like Rafe was making you feel exposed or anything, his eyes focused on your face, but you couldn’t help it. Rafe Cameron was in your bedroom, and you didn’t have on pants.
That wasn’t something you could just ignore.
You moved to sit down, unsure of what else to do, and you watched Rafe shove his hands into his pockets.
“I’m sorry,” you said suddenly, and Rafe tilted his head at you. “About you and your dad.”
He chuckled at that, and you didn’t know what was funny.
“It’s not the first time, and it definitely won’t be the last.”
That made you sadder, and you were sure it showed on your face.
“I don’t think I’ve ever fought with my parents like that,” you slowly said, and Rafe smirked.
He walked towards you, sitting on the edge of your bed with his back facing you.
“No, you wouldn’t, would you? You’re a good girl.”
The way he said that had you wracking your brain, and something about his tone made you feel like you should be insulted. As if he’d read your mind, Rafe continued.
“You don’t fuck up like I do.”
The insinuation that the fight was deserved had you moving closer.
“Whatever you did, I’m sure it doesn’t warrant your dad making you so angry you punch a wall,” you told him, perplexed.
He looked over his shoulder at you at that, drinking you in, and a slow smile made it’s way onto his lips.
“You have a lot of faith in me. How do you know?”
Rafe’s face was closer, now, smile gone.
“How do you know I didn’t deserve it?”
You didn’t truthfully, but the Rafe you’d grown to know was nice. He gave you rides when you needed then, and he was friendly, and he lied to your parents for you.
“I don’t, I guess…but, the Rafe I know doesn’t.”
He stared at you for what felt like a long time before nodding, a soft smile on his face as he turned away.
“Well, thank you. That means a lot.”
You bit your lip, having something on your mind and contemplating on whether or not to voice it before deciding to.
“I’m glad you came here.”
He perked up at that, looking at you again, and you held his gaze.
“You shouldn’t be alone after something like that, with that much anger, and…if you decide you don’t want to talk to your friends, you can come to me. I don’t mind.”
Rafe’s brows drew together at that, and he eyed you.
“You mean that?”
“Yeah,” you said, sitting up. “It would make me feel better to know that you’re not punching walls.”
You both softly chuckled at that, and you were startled when Rafe took your hand. He played with your fingers, eyeing them and swiping his tongue between his lips before his gaze met yours again. He looked at you from beneath his lashes as he leaned on your bed at your feet.
“Thank you.”
You returned it with a smile, wondering how on earth you were going to get any sleep tonight.
You fucked up.
Bad.
You couldn’t even blame this on Cam or Bunny, because this was all you. They’d warned you that the punch was spiked, and you could vaguely recall making a comment on how you didn’t even taste any alcohol. This was your first lesson in learning that was the dangerous kind, you guessed, and you pressed your hand to your forehead.
This was the fourth time you’d thrown up tonight, and you could feel that you were dehydrated. Your fingers shook, and you were so out of it that you stumbled with every fifth step you took. You could barely make out the faces in front of you, and you suspected that you’d probably walked right by the blonde or redhead and hadn’t even realized.
There were so many people in the house, this easily being one of the biggest parties you’d been to this summer. You had recognized people here and there, but not enough to point them out at this point. You’d never been this drunk in your life, and if you doubted it before, you stuck to that thought when you realized you’d misplaced your phone.
You were glued to your phone.
You leaned against the wall in the hallway, pressing your face into your hands and fighting the urge to throw up again. Your stomach kept turning, and you felt that familiar taste of salt in your mouth, making your face fall.
“Oh my God,” you heard yourself slur.
When you banged on the bathroom, you got a response, and you huffed. It was a struggle to get down the stairs, and you almost fell a few times trying to push past people and get outside. While the fresh air did sober you up a bit, it did nothing to alleviate your nausea, and your face became acquainted with the bushes.
You hated throwing up. Hated the salty wet taste in your mouth, and the way you felt so out of control as your body literally forced things out of you. As you puked into the bushes at some house of some guy you couldn’t even remember, you thought to yourself that this was the lowest of the low for you…
…and then you heard his voice.
“Y/N?”
You were taking deep breaths when you heard him approach you, and you tearfully looked up to meet his gaze.
“Hey, Rafe,” you breathed, correcting yourself and now recognizing this as the lowest.
You kept breathing in the fresh air, trying to clear your head.
“I’ve been there once or twice myself,” the blond joked, fully taking in the scene before him.
However, when you tried to straighten only to sway on your feet, he became serious.
“Woah, woah. You alright…?”
His soft voice was in your ear, and you reluctantly shook your head.
“I drank way too much…and this is the fifth time tonight I…”
You trailed off, embarrassment filling you. Rafe’s hands dug into your waist and shoulder as he held you upright.
“You sure you weren’t drugged?”
You shook your head.
“I knew the punch had alcohol, but I could barely taste it, so my mind wasn’t really focusing on that as I kept drinking more,” you slurred, pausing to take a deep breath. “It snuck up on me.”
“Yeah, that sounds familiar,” he dragged out, helping you walk. “Where are your friends?”
“I don’t know,” you shrugged. “I lost them.”
You paused.
“…and my phone,” you said with a groan.
You were practically hanging off of Rafe, now.
“Alright,” he said like it was no problem, like you weren’t inconveniencing him again. “Let’s just get you home.”
You reacted immediately.
“No,” you almost shouted, and you could tell you shocked him.
You softened your voice, trying not to cry.
“I…I can’t go home like this,” you fearfully whispered. “Not yet, at least.”
All of your weight was on Rafe, and he seemed to see where you were coming from.
“Okay, it’s okay,” he whispered, guiding you to his truck.
“I’m really sorry,” you apologized, the world swaying a bit. “I know you had so many better things to do, and…”
You trailed off when Rafe pressed a finger to his lips, sitting you in his passenger seat, now. You slowly blinked as he buckled you in, and you felt his hand on your face, wiping your mouth with his thumb.
“It’s okay,” he slowly reiterated.
You winced when the door closed, head lolling as Rafe started it up. The soft purr of the truck was relaxing, and you felt yourself leaning. You could hear him calling your name, and you tipped all the way over, your head near his lap. You could feel his hand on your hair, and you absentmindedly thanked yourself for keeping it up tonight, happy it wouldn’t be smeared with vomit.
The only way you knew you’d dozed off was because the next time you opened your eyes, you were slowly being led through Rafe’s yard, his chest at your back.
“No one’s home,” he told you, and you were so glad.
You blinked, just realizing that he’d walked you through his yard.
“You brought me here?”
You swiveled your head towards him.
“Yeah,” he breathed, preparing you for the stairs by kicking your shoes off with his feet. “We’ll sober you up, and hey, if need be, we’ll put you in the guest room.”
That sounded like a nice idea, and you both slowly took the stairs one at a time.
“…my parents…”
Your voice sounded so soft in your ears.
“Hey…didn’t I take care of them before?”
You giggled at the memory, nodding.
You drunkenly took in Rafe’s room as he walked you inside, and you collapsed on his bed, looking around as he searched his drawers. You’d never been in his room, hadn’t even thought about it really, but now that you were here, you looked around in wonder. You wondered if this was how Rafe felt when he was in yours the other night.
You noted the sound of the shower turning on.
When Rafe was at your side again, he was helping you sit up and was putting a shirt in your hand. He knelt before you, touching your face again and studying you.
“You think you can manage?”
He was talking about the shower, and you nodded.
“I’ll try.”
Try you did. The hot water and steam definitely helped, but there’d been several times during your shower that you’d found yourself kneeling or leaning against the wall, having a hard time standing. You couldn’t even focus on the fact that you were showering in Rafe’s room, taking in his bathroom too when you managed to get the water off.
You were walking better, now, and your head wasn’t swimming as much when you stepped out. However, there was no sign of Rafe, and you made your way into the hall. You were nearing the stairs as you could hear him in the kitchen, and you had managed to struggle halfway down them when he appeared at the bottom, hurrying towards you.
“Woah, woah, what are you doing?” he chuckled, a couple of bottles of water in his hands. “Are you trying to break your neck?”
You pressed your hand to your head, shaking it as he turned you around.
“I was looking for you. Where should I put my clothes?”
“I’ll take care of them, don’t worry,” he told you, a hand on the small of your back.
When you were back in his room, you sat down on his bed, gladly taking a water.
“Thank you,” you told him, chugging it. “I never thought I’d be so drunk it scared me.”
He sat the others down on his nightstand.
“How you feeling?”
You sighed at the question.
“I’m too drunk to step a foot into my house and I threw up five times,” you deadpanned.
Rafe chuckled at that before disappearing into his bathroom.
“When you’re done with that, come brush your teeth. Get that taste out of your mouth,” he called.
You never felt more grateful, taking him up on that suggestion. He told you you could put your spare one by his, and when you were done, you joined him in his room. Without thinking, you laid down, hoping that you’d feel a thousand times better in an hour or so.
“You don’t even know how embarrassed I am,” you murmured, and the bed dipped as Rafe sat down in front of you. “At this point, you have to think that I am a mess and should just be locked up in my house forever.”
You glanced up, eyes meeting his.
“That’s not what I think,” he whispered with a shake of his head.
“Well…it’s what I think.”
Just then, you both heard the door downstairs, and your wide eyes met his as voices reached you. They sounded familiar, like Sarah, and you closed your eyes, lips parting in a silent sigh.
“Great,” you murmured.
You felt Rafe’s hand on your arm, and you opened your eyes to look at him.
“Don’t worry about it,” he assured you. “We’ll wait here for a while, and if you feel better, I can sneak you out.”
Your eyes watered at that, and you knew it was the alcohol.
“Thank you,” you mouthed and kind of whispered. “You’re too nice to me, Rafe, and I don’t know why.”
There was a slight frown on his face at that, and he moved to lay down too, facing you.
“I just keep thinking of how many crappy situations I found myself in and how I would’ve possibly gotten out of them if it weren’t for you.”
He didn’t respond to that, and you could feel your eyes drooping some.
“You’re like this coke snorting angel in board shorts or something…”
You both chuckled at that, and Rafe was saying something to you, but you were drifting too far into sleep to hear it.
The next time you woke up, the house was quiet. You still felt groggy, head swimming, but you could tell the water and sleep had done something to alleviate your inebriation. You opened your eyes and was happy it was still dark outside, but you did wonder what time it was.
“You only slept about an hour and a half.”
Rafe’s voice startled you, and you glanced up, not realizing he was awake. You wondered if he’d been awake this whole time, and as you noted him watching you, you wondered if he’d done that the whole time. The alcohol in your system had you entertaining self-centered thoughts.
“Sarah?”
“She and her friends are still here.”
You noticed his use of the plural and frowned. He nodded.
“Even Pope,” he told you.
You sighed at that, and you were sure you were going to say something when Rafe’s finger touched your lips. The action surprised you, and you were more focused on him, now. Somehow, your drunken haze hadn’t allowed you to register it before, but you couldn’t help but focus on the fact that you were half dressed in Rafe’s bed…with Rafe. You hadn’t realized how close you were, and you studied his gaze.
“What…?” you finally whispered, and he simply shook his head.
Something about the air felt…off. Off to you, at least because this was unfamiliar to you. Rafe’s finger trailed from your lips to your cheek, and then down past your chin. Your heart sped up at the feel, and you swallowed. Rafe’s gaze was drawn to the movement, eyes studying the column of your neck.
“Rafe…”
The blond moved closer.
“What are you…?”
Your words died on your lips.
Rafe gently pressed his to yours, and you blinked, taken aback but feeling so warm. The kiss was gentle, and you sighed into it. You’d kissed a few boys before. Innocent pecks behind the bleachers or by a tree during lunch, but never anything that lasted this long and certainly didn’t make your entire body tingle. It was so foreign, new, and you pulled away, gasping.
Rafe shushed you, reaching for you.
“It’s okay,” he murmured, a hand on the back of your neck.
He pulled you into another kiss, this one firmer, and you sharply inhaled at the way he moved his mouth against yours. His fingers massaged into the skin at the back of your neck, and you were still so in shock that you couldn’t process what this meant. However, the way he kissed you had your eyes closing, and the alcohol in your system didn’t help.
The alcohol reminded you of why you couldn’t go home and then home made you think of Pope.
You pulled away from him again, sitting up this time, and Rafe followed.
“Hey, hey,” he whispered, hands on your face as he tried to get you to look at him.
“Pope,” you breathed. “I…c-can’t…”
“It’s okay,” Rafe softly told you, leaning in and brushing his lips against yours. “You’re okay.”
He kissed you again and again, softly telling you it was okay, hands spreading along your jaw and neck. Your hands were on his arm, unsure if you wanted to push him away or not.
“Wait,” you said in between kisses, feeling like you couldn’t think straight. “I need to…”
The blond made a soothing shushing sound, lips meeting yours, one hand trailing over you now. You jerked at the feel, unintentionally pressing yourself closer to him, and he deepened the kiss. You pressed a hand to his chest, and Rafe deeply inhaled, mouth moving over yours. He was leaning in, pushing you down, and you felt weak, suddenly as drunk as you were hours ago.
You made a noise when your back met his bed, Rafe hovering over you and a knee sliding up, separating your legs. You gasped at that, the cool air hitting your core, and your other hand came up to his chest too. It made you shudder, trembling even more when one of his hands snaked its way down your body, disappearing between your thighs.
Your eyes flew open.
Your nails dug into him, fingers twisting in Rafe’s shirt as he pressed a finger to you. He was slow in circling you, so gently it was almost torturous. The sensation had you gasping, and you felt Rafe smile into the kiss. He worked that same finger into you, making you tighten your hold on his shirt, and Rafe pulled away to watch your face.
Your brows were drawn together as he fingered you, and you didn’t have time to process what was happening. One. Two. Three. At some point, he’d worked three into you, shushing you when you cried out and telling you it was okay, mentioning something about needing to be ready for him. You were so wet, wetter than you’d ever been before when it was just you alone in your bedroom.
He pressed kisses to your lips and cheeks and neck as he massaged your walls. It was nothing like you’d felt before, and your lashes fluttered when he started to kiss his way down your body. You could feel his cool breath hitting you where his fingers were, and you barely had time to lift your head and look down when his mouth was covering you completely.
The gasp you let out was loud, and you completely forgot that you weren’t the only ones in the house.
Rafe tasted you like a man starved, tongue swirling inside of you, sliding over you, flicking against you. The sound reached your ears, and it made your face burn. That dull pain you’d registered in the back of your mind was overshadowed by the sensations brought on by both his fingers and his tongue. He still licked at you, pushing a finger into you and then a second, curling them and making you arch.
Your heart was racing in your chest, and you felt so hot now. No longer warm, but hot.
Your hands found his hair, twisting and pulling, and you could feel Rafe chuckle. The sound made you jerk, throwing your head back as he sucked on you, tongue sliding into you once his fingers were gone. You hadn’t realized that your hips were moving, grinding onto his face like a possessed woman, but Rafe seemed to like it, hooking his arms around your thighs and helping anchor you.
You bit your lip, swallowing down whimpers and mewls, only heavy breaths escaping through your nose.
All too soon, it felt like, Rafe pulled away. It gave you time to collect your thoughts, and you couldn’t believe what was happening. You didn’t understand how you got here, and you shook your head, moving to sit up when Rafe rejoined you. He was naked now, and you didn’t have time to register the shock before he was slowly kissing you.
Your hands pressed into the bed to keep from being pushed back down, trying to talk to him, but his hands grabbed the end of the shirt he’d let you borrow. In yanking it, your arms fell, and you bounced on his bed as he tossed it behind him somewhere. Rafe wouldn’t stop kissing you, wouldn’t let your mind think, but you didn’t have anymore thoughts when he slowly started to dip into you.
You gasped, nails pressing into his skin as he slowly sheathed himself inside of you. Bit by bit he pushed forward, stretching you out and creating the strangest dulled burning sensation. A sharp moan escaped when he could go no further, and your chest heaved as you stared at the ceiling. Rafe lifted his head, hand coming up to wipe the beads of sweat from your forehead, and he kissed the corner of your mouth.
“You’re okay,” he assured you, shifting and pressing a hand into the bed beside your head. “I’ll take care of you.”
When he moved, you squeezed your eyes shut. It was equal parts pain and pleasure and something unknown. Rafe continuously pressed his lips to your skin, his own labored breathing in your ear. The sound fascinated you for some reason, wondering if he felt just like you felt. He stretched you and filled you in a way that almost felt wrong, too much, but every stroke stroked something in you that had you wanting him to keep going.
He kept his eyes on you, constantly watching your face and your eyes and your lips. You started to ask him why, but you thought that would be weird considering the circumstances. As you stared at him, watching him move over you, it was hitting you that you were having sex with Rafe Cameron.
You’d never given it much thought before who you would have sex with, but Rafe Cameron would’ve been nowhere near an option. He was Rafe. He was older and all the guys knew him and all the girls wanted to. He threw parties everyone wanted to go to and he always looked like nothing bothered him and he’d been nicknamed the Kook Prince of Figure 8. Rafe didn’t look at girls like you…and yet…
Here he was, having sex with a girl like you.
This wasn’t how you had predicted the night would go, at all, and truthfully, you still didn’t know how you felt about it. You were still so drunk and could hardly focus on a thing at a time, but one thing stood out above all else and it was the way Rafe was looking at you. Not how he was fucking you or touching you, but how he was looking at you.
It made you shudder, and it felt more intimate than him literally being inside of you. He wouldn’t take his blue eyes off of you, taking in your every expression and every sound you made. It was like he cared more about that than what was between your legs. He leaned a forearm against the bed beside your head, getting closer, and his chest brushed yours with every thrust.
“Fuck, you feel so good,” he murmured, lips touching yours as he spoke. “You like that?”
He curved his hips into yours, making you whimper, and he smiled, teeth winking at you. Your hands came up to grasp his back, nails digging in, and his smile widened.
“There you go,” he purred, snapping into you. “Mark me up.”
You were, you realized with shock, and you didn’t mean to nor want to, but you felt so overwhelmed and needed something to grasp. Something to ground you, and a choked moan climbed out of your throat.
“Rafe,” you gasped, and he kissed you.
“You’re okay…”
Your eyes briefly closed, noting how snug he felt inside of you, and every movement against your walls had you shaking. You whined, toes curling, and Rafe’s other hand was trailing over you. He was touching you and tickling you and squeezing you, feeling you up with every thrust. His hand pressed to the small of your back, forcing your lower half up and closer.
“I wanna come inside you.”
The words reached your ears, and you knew that was bad, not ideal, but in your haze, you couldn’t care.
“I shouldn’t,” he chuckled. “…but I want to.”
Everything had happened so fast, and you couldn’t even remember if Rafe had put on a condom. You had a brief thought that you were going to be that girl tomorrow morning, disheveled and bringing a Plan B to the checkout counter. It was surreal to think about.
He pressed open mouth kisses to your neck, and you clung to him, hanging on and just losing yourself in the feel of his cock thrusting into you. Faintly, you could hear voices again down the hall, footsteps too, and you had most certainly forgotten who else was here. You couldn’t find the state of mind to focus on that either.
Rafe’s cock plunged into you over and over, and you could hear yourself mumbling incoherently. You felt so spaced out, trying to focus on so much at once, but you didn’t want to stop. You were obsessed with the feeling, your hips lifting to meet his every time, and Rafe looked down at the sight, staring at where he disappeared into you.
“Look at you,” he murmured, tongue darting out to touch his lips. “Making a mess all over me.”
It was the alcohol that had you murmuring a soft ‘sorry’, and Rafe chuckled. He kissed you again, nose brushing yours.
“Nothing to be sorry about,” he whispered. “I’ll show you how to clean it up one day.”
Rafe completely surrounded you, caging you in and jerking himself into you. His forehead touched yours, blond hair damp and hanging, and when he kissed you again, you drunkenly kissed him back.

💥the longer you wait⛈️
Older!dipper pines x reader, Chapter 7 of Douce amere, ~4.3k words Master list Prev
“Okay, I put it in his coffee,” you snickered, twirling the empty vial between your fingers. The three of you watched from the living room as Stan stood in the kitchen.
“Why does he have coffee at like, three in the afternoon? Isn’t that typically a morning thing?” Dipper chimed in, ever the skeptic.
“If he had Mabel juice, he wouldn’t need the extra caffeine,” Mabel whispered.
Mabel, who was never one for subtlety, tried her best to hold in laughs while her back was pressed against the wall near the doorframe as she snuck head turning glances into the kitchen.
You and Dipper had a tad bit more class. The both of you were sat on the chair, feigning watching tv as you side eyed Stan from a distance. You could feel the annoyed, and slightly smug energy radiating from Dipper as he rolled his eyes. “Mabel, either get over here so he doesn’t hear you, or stop conspiring.”
Mabel crossed her arms dramatically, whisper yelling across the room to her brother. “I want to be close to the action!”
You squinted at her, “and you’re certain that twelve feet will make that much of a difference?”
”Yes!” she hissed.
Just as Dipper sighed, probably about to retort with a petty insult, you saw it. In the corner of your eye, Stan took a sip of his coffee.
Before he could speak, you elbowed Dipper subtly, and nodded your head over the the kitchen. In a blink, Dipper lost the conversation.
Slowly, starting at the finger tips, Stan was beginning to turn pink. You smirked, and Dipper snickered, as you both started to elbow each other.
Mabel, with an open jaw and annoyed expression looked back and forth between you, her brother, and the doorway. “Hey, wait, what’s happening!” She hissed.
As Mabel’s eyes flickered back and forth, growing frustration in her face, you and Dipper grimaced, sharing a knowing glance. As both of you turned back to Mabel, you saw her whip her head around, very obviously peeking through the doorway, and hanging her body across it. You sighed. Dipper too.
”What are you looking at?” Stan asked, confused. “What, do I have something in my face or something?” He said, squinting at Mabel as she giggled. The pink was spreading up his arms, reaching his chest.
You weren’t sure Mabel knew the word subtle. She snickered and she giggled, and she reached her head and body back to her hiding place on the other side of the doorway, leaving Stan confused, as he looked himself over.
You weren’t immune to Mabel’s antics, though. You gave up trying to avert your eyes, and turned to face Stan. His eyes widened as he looked himself over, and began to notice his colour change to a Barbie pink.
Stan gasped, then looked up back to the doorway. “Mabel!” He shouted. She laughed, covering her mouth in a futile effort to hide her presence. “What did you do to me!” Stan asked, standing up. His face was pink now, his entire body discoloured.
He approached the doorway, immediately grabbing into the side and whipping his head around to where Mabel stood. “Is this your doing?!” He asked, rather loudly. You shared a glance with Dipper, wide eyed, and both silently agreeing to let Mabel take any blame for this, no words needed. You both suppressed a smile watching the scene.
Mabel grinned wide, and lied easy. “Nope!” She cheered, looking up at him happily.
He paused a moment, squinting, and once again looked over his arms. Even the greying hairs were a lighter pink. For a moment, you almost saw a smile tug at the corner of his mouth.
Dipper nudged you, leaning in to whisper near your ear. As his head got closer and you felt his breath on your skin, you tensed, out of habit, grin forming across your lips. “Eyes,” he hushed, smile in his voice. As he pulled away, he subtly pointed at Stan again.
You glanced at his eyes, as instructed. Glistening. Even across the room you saw the lights reflected in them.
Mabel’s smile had fallen, and she looked up at Stan with concern. A single tear fell from his eyes, as he stared in awe at his colour, jaw hung open. “Grunkle Stan-“ Mabel started, reaching out for him.
”-I’m so…” he sniffled, and wiped a tear away as more started to fall. “… beautiful.”
Mabel gasped, her hands flying to her cheeks as her smile came back in an instance. Her sharp inhale was so sudden, she very quickly devolved into a coughing fit, choking on the dust in the air.
You and Dipper had to drop the act. You waived the nonchalant attitude, and fully turned over to look at them in all his crying and her coughing glory. Dipper squinted, “what?” He asked simply.
Mabel whipped her head over to the two of you, doubled over, and looking up at you between ragged breathes. “Guys, he’s-“ she started to shout, before double over again to choke. You winced at her wheezes.
Dipper said flatly, “Mabel breath in.”
Stan kept crying quietly, wiping a tear as he gently ran his hand over his arm. “I’m so…” he trailed off.
Mabel gasped, finally seeming to catch her breath. She put her hand in her chest as she took slow and steady inhales, finding the rhythm to breathing that she had lost. “Grunkle Stan, look at your face!” She said, jumping in place and pointing at him.
Stand hands flew to his cheeks, eyes wide. “My face…” he started, wandering away. To a mirror you assumed.
Mabel followed quickly behind him, nearly sprinting and tripping over herself, you thought you heard the word makeover.
The room was silent when they left. You blinked once, twice, thrice, recovering from that interaction. “So Dip,” you started, leaning back in the chair.
“Yeah…” he pondered, following suit and leaning back with you. You turned your head away slightly to smile as you rested shoulder to shoulder.
You both looked absently at the doorway they disappeared through. “So that was not the expected reaction, was it?” You asked, folding your arms across your chest.
“No, I can’t say that that was on my list,” he said, folding his arms in tandem with you.
“Welp,” you said, lacking words.
Dipper laughed, covering his mouth with his hand. “Yeah, fucking welp,” he chuckled. “fucking, now what?” He laughed.
You tilted your head back to lean on his shoulder, and waved your hand through the air, to think. “I almost want to be out of the room for when the come back, I feel like Mabel is gonna try to make us pink too.”
Dipper shook his head, “God, you are so right.”
You nodded, standing up, and offering Dipper a hand. “Anywhere else?” You asked enticingly.
Dipper smiled, taking your hand in his. Before he could react properly, you smirked, and put your whole body into dragging him out of the chair before he could find his balance.
“Ack-“ he exclaimed, nearly falling over himself trying to stand. He stumbled out of the chair, almost crashing into you as he took a few steps to regain his footing. “Mean,” he said simply.”
You smiled. “what can I say, I like it rough,” you shrugged, grinning. You spun to turn your back to him and head for the door, but that didn’t stop you from feeling his pained expression.
“Oh, fuck off,” he laughed.
Snickering to yourself as he protested, you started walking toward the gift shop. You heard his footsteps behind you as he followed.
The gift shop, quite unusually, was empty. Devoid of even its typical employees. “Dip, are we closed today?” You asked, wandering in.
He shook his head, laughing slightly. “Nope, mystery shack is open,” he said. “I hope Soos knows Wendy is out sick, or something.”
”Probably or something, she didn’t seem very sick yesterday,” you snickered. You absently walked over to the counter, leaning behind it. “Gosh, it’s so rare I see this side of the register… it’s beautiful.”
Dipper rolled his eyes, “not when you are working customer service, it’s not.” He came up on the other side, leaning opposite to you beside the register.
“Lucky me, it’s just you in here, then.” You grinned at him, leaning your head on your hand. “So… you come here often?” you asked, tapping your fingers along your cheek.
Dipper pursed his lips, repressing a smile as he shook his head. “I can’t say that I do, actually,” he snickered, placing a hand on the counter with you, “I don’t frequent the worst tourist traps in existence, not sure what kind of person does.”
You laughed, “oh I know exactly what kind of person does, my friend.”
Dipper snickered, “who are we thinking of?” He turned his head to the door, leaning into you ever so slightly. You smirked, his face only a foot from yours as he began to point. “I’m feeling a sort of… tourist with horrible children vibe, for the next person who walks in,” he said. He paused, and you could practically see the cogs turning in his head. “Like, at least three kids.”
You stifled a laugh, “Oh, you are too kind, Dip.” You shook your head, covering a smirk as you followed his gaze to the door. “My first thought was Toby Determined.”
Dipper snorted, his hand falling from his point and covering his smile. “Oh you’re mean!” He laughed. “Not our bodacious T!”
“Yeah, I hate that he was my first thought,” you giggled. “But I think he is the oddest patron we’ve got.”
Dipper sighed, dragging his hand down his face, “You’re not wrong, I think he’s funded like, half of the exhibits.”
”Stan must love him.”
The corners of Dippers lips curled up, as if he wanted to hold back his smile. His eyes shifted over to you as he put his elbows back on the counter to lean on. “You’d think so, but no,” he pondered. “I actually think Stan hates dealing with him… Wendy, too.”
You leaned in, just the tiniest bit more, curious. “Oh is he, like, weird?” Your head felt heavy on your hand, and you tilted your head to the side to shift the weight.
Dipper grimaced, looking at the countertop with a pained smile, “yeah that’s what I’ve heard… mostly from Wendy.”
You chuckled, “God, remind me never to work customer service in this town.”
Your eyes held on his as his gaze fell back on you. His face had the slightest bit of pink tint, to compliment his soft smile, and you had hope. Maybe he was blushing at you. He smiled, “Yeah, the people in this town are a little… weird.”
”Gosh, that must be why you fit right in,” You smirked.
”just me?” He chided.
You beamed, unfortunately. Pursing your lips to try and contain your growing smile, you laughed. “Well, I wouldn’t say that- I wouldn’t say just you,” you shook your head going off. “Well, I wouldn’t go that far, I suppose.”
He grinned, and hung his head so his face was out of view. “Yeah? You wouldn’t go that far?” He was shaking his head, and you could hear the air he was blowing out his nose.
You straightened up, no longer leaning across from him. “No, I’m not certain I would,” you mused. “I go pretty far in a lot of ways, but that’s where I draw the line.”
Dipper snickered, banged his head lightly on the table, and then stood up with you, mirroring your stance. “God, you are the worst.”
You batted your eyelashes, “who me?”
“Ugh,” was all he managed.
You snickered, hopping up to sit on the counter, and crossing your legs. “You can act like you hate me,” you said, in dramatic fashion, raising one hand to stroke your chin. “But you don’t.”
Dippers face was flushed, and he smiled, which was a nice juxtaposition from his words. “No, trust me, I really do.”
You grinned, and squinted your eyes just slightly. He was still facing you, and carefully, you reached your hand out towards him. “Boop!” You said, tapping his nose. You grinned at him as he blushed, and tried to suppress a smile, in truth, shocked he didn’t try to stop you.
Dippers face was red, and he lifted his hand to his cheek to try and cover it. He glanced at the floor, then back to you. As he covered his mouth, you could practically hear him thinking. Even hiding his expression, you know he had his thinking face on. “Y/n, did you know you talk in your sleep?”
Your eyes widened a moment, and a reflexive response came to you before a thought. “What? No I don’t…” you said, tilting your head and looking to the wall. As you remembered, you pursed your lips, and raising your brow. “Wait, no, that’s a lie. Yes I do.”
Dipper silently asked for elaboration, raising his brow in turn and nodding his head.
You sighed a laugh, “It was mostly when I was a kid, I think, but I’ve been know to say a few words in more recent years,” you recalled. “I’ve heard I mostly just say the word no, and all it’s synonyms.”
”You never say, like,” he rolled his hand in the air, gesturing for more information. “Full sentences? Or have conversations?”
You squinted at him, mouth barely open. “Dude, what the fuck did I say to you in my sleep?”
He stiffened, and began to scratch the back of his neck, “oh, nothing really, I-“
You shook your head, beginning to laugh, “No, no, no, no backing out now, what did I say?” You watched as his eyes darted to anywhere but you. “It has to be something bad, right? I have to know now.”
“Oh, no, no-“ he started, sweating. He waved his hand in dismissal. “Nothing… bad,” he smiled nervously.
You shook your head, leaning back in bafflement. “Dude, the fuck did I say to you,” you laughed.
Dippers eyes were wide, “Nothing!” He glanced back at you, then quickly away, and wiped his hand on his pants. Probably wiping the sweat, if you had to guess. “I swear, nothing.”
”Dude,” you said, exasperated and curious. You snickered, “you have a fucking horrible lying face, I know you too well.”
Dipper closed his eyes, remembering his… goal? His promise. To himself, and to Mabel. His oath to try. For you. If there was anyone he could try for, push the fear and shyness down for, it was you. “Well, you, uh-“ he glanced up at you. “You sort of… confessed to something,” he laughed, running his fingers through his hair.
Your blood ran cold, and heart stopped. Hmm? Your eyes were wide, “I did… what?” You asked, voice coming through a little higher pitch then usual.
Dipper laughed nervously, “yeah, you said you were…” he paused, smiling to himself, and twirling a strand of hair around his finger. “Trying to trick me… does that ring a bell?”
You shook your head again, involuntary and in bewilderment. “The fuck does that even mean?”
Dipper grimaced, clasping his hands together, and swinging them out in front of him. In a swift motion, he turned away, pacing a few steps before spinning back to face you. “Well, I was kind of hoping you’d, uh, know what the trick was… are you sure you don’t?”
With wide eyes and an exaggerated expression, you looked at him, words not needed. But words were fun. “Fuck no I don’t? Are you gonna tell me or what?” You practically wheezed.
Dipper sighed, wiping his hands on his shirt. He swung his arms out behind, and in front of him, and shifted his weight between his feet. “Fine, yeah,” he started, slowly walking back to the counter where you still sat. “It’s… you kind of confessed to-“
”Dipper, get over here!” Stan bellowed through the hall.
Dippers head whipped around with a speed you rarely saw from him, and even quicker he looked back at you with wide eyes.
You tilted your head curiously, waving your hand to silently tell him to continue, and ignore his Grunkle.
“Well, it looks like I’m being summoned over there-“ Dipper sputtered, starting to step toward the door.
”Oh no, no you are not,” you started, pointing at him. “Get your ass back here, and finish that sentence.”
Dipper walked backwards slowly, and shot you finger guns as he did. “Tell ya later, come find me… later,” he managed, red in the face. “Not now.”
You stared to move to get up, and as you did, he started to speed walk, into a dash. “Oh, you cunt! Not a chance!” You spat, throwing yourself off the counter to follow him as he sprinted out the door.
As quickly as you sprang up, you fell down, to the floor, tripping and landing on your elbows. “Fuck,” you muttered, whipping your head up to stare at the now empty doorframe. Pussy. Bitch. Ugh. Several insults ran through your head, and you grumbled as you rose to your feet.
For a moment, you stared at the door, like he might come back any second. He still could. God, what was he on about? You sat back up on the counter, thankful there wasn’t anyone in the gift shop. Nobody came through the door, and the vague sound of Stan rambling travelled on the air. You sighed, pulling out your phone to blank your mind.
You scrolled through various apps for a few minutes, until very easily getting bored. God, what did you say to him? That had him so… you shook your head, squeezing your eyes shut.
It was as if the confidence left your body the moment he ran off, leaving you in a mildly pissy mood in an empty gift shop. Not a particularly pretty scene. Your heart was slowly dropping back to normal pace as you looked longingly at the door. Do I work here? You thought to yourself. If not, then you could, in theory, leave. Not like you hadn’t done work for the mystery shack before, but you didn’t recall ever getting a regular pay check.
Hopping off the counter, you threw your phone in your pocket and started for the door. No sense sitting around in an empty room. I could go see Ford… you paused in the doorway.
No, I shouldn’t. You were mildly irritated after that interaction, and it probably wasn’t good to subject sweet innocent Ford to that. You stepped away from the doorway, and away from the shack.
…
”Dipper, what do you think?” Stan asked, still pink in the skin, and face decorated with the most intense eyeliner Mabel could muster. The living room was cluttered with what Dipper assumed was all the makeup Mabel brought with her for the summer. Unsurprisingly, Y/n was right, Dipper thought. As usual.
Dipper shot Mabel a look of horror and desperation. All she needed to know. Mabel winced, squinting her eyes as she glanced over his mildly sweaty and flushed face. Raising her brow, she started to the kitchen, and Dipper followed, eyes trained on the floor.
“Hey, where are you two going?” Stan called out from the chair.
Dipper whipped his head back around, still a little flushed in the face. Before he could speak, Mabel answered for them. Bless her soul.
“Kitchen,” she said innocently, turning to face him as she walked backwards.
Stan squinted, but made no effort to get up. “Why are you being weird?” He asked suspiciously.
Mabel smiled an oblivious smile, “I’m just like that, what do you mean?”
Dipper nodded along idly, staring behind Stan.
Stan grimaced, sighing and shaking his head. “God, okay then, I guess,” he said sarcastically. “Don’t burn the house down.”
Mabel beamed, and threw a thumbs up at him, “for sure, for sure.”
Dipper kept nodding as they crossed the threshold into the kitchen, and he slid hastily out of his Grunkles view. The moment he was out of sight, Dipper nearly keeled over, grabbing hold of Mabel’s arms and shaking her. He looked over his shoulder at the doorway again, knowing Stan was still in earshot. He tried to whisper, but it came out as more if a hiss, “Mabel I fucked up.”
Mabel once again, cringed and grimaced. “What did you do?” She whispered.
Dippers face fell, and he hung his head as he shook her, and tried to shuffle further away from the door. “I chickened out.”
Mabel pursed her lips. “Like, an hour ago you were so confident, what happened?”
Dipper shook his head, as if the answer was obvious and Mabel was a fool for even needing to ask. “I actually tried to do it, Mabel.”
She sighed, clasping her hands in front of her face, and leaning her head on them. “Dip, you fucking know that the longer you wait, the harder it gets.”
Dipper covered his face with his hands, “Dude, I know.”His sister always had an incurable blind confidence that Dipper envied. Even when she got rejected, the many times she did. She always tried, with relentless determination. Lucky. It seemed like Dipper barely had it in him to try for the one person who had never rejected him. Dippers lips curled into a frown, which was almost like a pout. He stepped away from Mabel, and started to pace around the kitchen. “I should… go talk to them,” he sighed.
Mabel smiled softly. “Yes, you should,” she stated. More like a command. “Just be honest, tell them you like them.”
Dipper cringed, but nodded. “Yeah, I should just do that.”
Mabel punched him in the spine, and Dipper immediately recoiled. “That’s the spirit, bro!”
Dipper scowled at her before kicking her in the leg, and walking out without a word. As he walked through the living room to the gift shop, Stan eyed him suspiciously, and sipped a Pitt cola.
Dipper took a deep breath as he approached the door, and then another one. Calm. He pushed through, gaze immediately falling on the counter… which was empty. Fuck. Dippers eyes widened, and his eyes flew to the door and the window. In a blink, he rushed back to the living room. “Grunkle Stan, have you seen Y/n?”
He shook his head wordlessly, taking another long sip of his Pitt cola, and Dippers face fell. Curtly, he nodded, heading back into the gift shop to pace. They left?
…
”-And he didn’t fucking tell me!” You finished, pacing around Billy with intent. The statues hollow eye stared through you as you waited for a response. “I know, outrageous!”
Sighing, you sat down beside it and its outstretched hand. “Sorry to rant to you buddy, but like…” you laid back, head in the lush, almost damp grass. “But I can’t stand when people just…” you shook your head, getting your hair tangled with the grass. “… don’t tell me things… especially when it’s about me!”
You turned your head to the statue, sighing. “You know, before that conversation, I was trying to flirt.”
Billy didn’t look down at you, given he was made of stone. He blocked the sun with his hat, and looked over you, almost giving you a side eye.
“And he was so… I don’t know,” you started, raising a hand to the sky. You turned your head to see its shadow beside you. “He was so flustered, I thought maybe he like… I don’t know- something about flirting back.”
You glanced back up at Billy, and folded your hands on your stomach. “Oh, I guess you don’t have context… he sometimes does flirt back, but he’s shy. I think he likes me… or at least could,” you thought aloud. “I was more sure a few weeks ago- but don’t worry” you shook your head, closing your eyes. “I wouldn’t ever want to make him uncomfortable with it, we’re friends, I think he’d tell me if he wanted me to stop.”
Billy didn’t answer. But he didn’t need to. The way his eye made you feel just barely cold even in the summer sun was answer enough.
“Should I go back?”
The wind blew close to the ground, and muddled your hair into the grass even more. That piercing eye your stature friend had seemed to tell you everything you needed to know. Like the clouds that were starting to form in the sky said no.
”You’re probably right, Billy,” you sighed. “Not sure why you don’t seem to like Dipper, but-“ you stared at the clouds, greying and moving in. “-you’ve never steered me wrong, I guess.”
You sat up, picking a few leaves and twigs out of your hair. “And you never would, right?” You asked, flicking Billy’s out stretched hand. A tremor shot through you the moment you touched it. Reflexively, you pulled away, hand finding the ground to regain balance. “God, Billy, why are you so cold?”
If Billy could speak, you weren’t sure he’d tell you. He was a statue man of many secrets, it seemed. Sighing, you stood up. “Billy, it’s beginning to look like rain,” you said, squinting up at the bright white and grey sky. “I swear, the weather always turns when I come to see you, it’s strange,” you started, looking down at him. You laughed to yourself, “it’s like you’re cursed.”
You flicked his hat, snickering. “I think I’ll head home, Billy boy.”

Fun fact: in the initial writing of this chapter, i had to rework it like 4 times. My original idea for the confession sequence was way different. Same ending, but wildly different set up.

AN: Hi Ven!!! Much love to you as well!! 💜 Sorry for the delay, but anyways this is kind of a silly fic based on a thought I had of Solomon sometime ago, and thought it worked well with the prompt...or at least I hope it did 😅 I really hope you enjoy it! Thank you for being patient and take care of yourself!!
Warnings: Solomon referring to reader as dear, darling, and beautiful, Solomon being Solomon shenanigans (I promise!), slight miscommunication but nothing angsty, established soulmate connection/relationship
Another stressful day babysitting the Avatars of Sin, you can hardly wait to go back to Cocytus Hall where it’s significantly more peaceful and quiet…as long as Solomon hasn’t snuck into the kitchen while you were away.
You have your D.D.D. up to your ear as you wait for the sorcerer to pick up, wanting to let him know you’re on your way and that Lucifer is escorting you this evening. You hear the faint shut of the door behind you as Lucifer joins you out under the front awning, staying quiet as he notices your ear-to-phone stance.
The phone goes to the last ring, and you don’t think Solomon’s going to pick up – which is odd because normally he picks up in less than two if it’s you – but he does at the last second, sounding as carefree as ever.
“Ah, hello, my dear. Ready to come back home?”
“Yeah, though Lucifer offered to walk me back,” you reply, giving Lucifer a quick appreciative grin, which he returns as he waits patiently beside you, “we’re just leaving now.”
The sorcerer hums softly. “I see. I’ve…had something come up, so that works out perfectly then.” You pick up his nervous tone with ease and know automatically something’s troubling him.
“...Is everything okay?” You know that a question like that is his weakness. Really…any and all of your questions are his weakness. They’re inescapable, unavoidable, and you like that you can use that to your advantage often.
He answers a hair too quickly, probably hoping you won’t interrogate him further, while still being truthful. “Yeah! Yes. Everything is great, I think.”
“Uh-huh… So, what is this “something,” Solomon?”
There’s a delay in the answering this time. You can almost even hear him trying to physically restrain himself from saying anything, but it’s no use. He cannot lie to you – not that he likes to anyway, but there are things better left unsaid sometimes.
Solomon sighs into the phone as the truth pushes past his lips, “I have a kid...”
To say you are dumbfounded is an understatement. You’re silent for longer than is comfortable, blinking slowly and unable to formulate any questions. Once you gather yourself, you fill your lungs as you try to grapple with what he just said.
“I’m sorry… What?!” The alarm in your voice is quite apparent, causing Lucifer to glance over in worry, wondering if he should get involved or not.
On the other side of the line, there’s some crashing sounds and light scolding from Solomon that’s hard to make out. It seems he’s holding the phone away from him. He soon brings the phone back to his ear with words coming out in a rushed flurry.
“I need to go, I’ll see you when you get back home!” Before you even get the chance, the sorcerer hangs up on you, and you’re left just as clueless as you started. You pocket your phone, your body tense and thoughts nervous for what you’re about to go home to.
Lucifer picks up on this as the both of you start your way towards the iron-wrought gate. “Is everything alright?”
You sigh in response, shaking your head as you try to sort out the conversation in your head. “Honestly…I have no idea.”
Due to how shocked and concerned you are, with millions of questions buzzing in your head, the walk to Cocytus Hall is silent. You also feel your heart in the pit of your stomach as you wonder what this means for Solomon and yourself. Lucifer doesn’t prod you any further, which you’re thankful for because what are you supposed to tell him?
Once you arrive, you thank Lucifer for escorting you before heading directly inside to see for yourself just what the hell is happening.
The first thing you notice upon entering is the odd smell wafting throughout the hall. It doesn’t smell anything like the chemical warfare Solomon cooks up in the kitchen with its distinct odor, so that’s at least a relief. You venture further in, making your way to the common room to see if the sorcerer is there.
Your foot crosses the threshold, but pauses mid-step as your eyes land on something black and fuzzy laying on the couch.
“Me-e-eh.”
“What the-” you start, but you recognize the sound of footsteps approaching from behind and you quickly glance over your shoulder to see Solomon with a little metal bowl filled with water. His eyes are trained on the bowl, simultaneously lost in his thoughts while making sure not to spill any, so when you clear your throat to get his attention, his head snaps up instantly.
He plasters on a cheerful smile which reaches his eyes upon seeing you home. “Welcome home, darling.”
You say nothing, now standing with your arms crossed as you stare at him with a blank expression as if waiting for him to explain why there is a baby goat sitting on the couch. Solomon lets out a sheepish chuckle as he rubs the back of his neck, indicating that he knows you know now.
“What do you think? He’s cute, no?”
“He’s cute, alright…” you pause, taking a peek at the little thing which is staring back at you in curiosity. You turn back to Solomon. “Is this the “kid” you mentioned earlier?”
A beat of silence passes between you two before he replies, “...yes.”
Your brows knit together so hard you might just start knitting a sweater with them. “Solomon, why didn’t you just tell me it was a baby goat? Wouldn’t that have been, oh I don’t know, simpler? I thought something else was going on!”
His eyes dart from yours to the bowl in his hands, feeling a bit ashamed of himself for worrying you so much. “I suppose so, but I didn’t lie to you. He is technically a kid.”
The sound of tiny hooves clicking against the wood floor draws your attention back to the goat, who trots its way over to the two of you, looking almost expectantly at Solomon. He smiles softly as he crouches down to set the bowl of water before the small creature.
“Here you go, little guy.” The goat sniffs at the bowl, inspecting it, before tentatively lapping at the cool, fresh water within. Solomon reaches a hand out and gently strokes its fuzzy back, gazing at it fondly. It seems the two have already bonded. You almost can’t be mad with how cute this scene is to you.
A little smile tugs at your lips as you start again. “Where did he come from?”
Solomon glances back up to you. “Would you believe me if I told you I honestly just found him wandering around down here in the street?”
“I kinda have to. You can’t lie to me.”
He chuckles in response. “Indeed I cannot. Though, you can’t lie to me either, my beautiful soulmate.”
“Hey, you can’t just throw some sweet words my way and think you can get away with this. You really had me spooked earlier,” a faint chuckle weaves its way through your words, finding this whole thing ridiculous. Still, you can’t deny how flattered you are, because you know it’s the truth.
He truly does see you that way.
“I know, I know. Flattery will get me nowhere… But you can’t blame a guy for trying,” he says as he shrugs with a hint of a smirk. “Anyways, I plan on looking into some notable farms in the human realm and contacting them to see if any of them are interested in taking him. He can’t stay here, unfortunately, as this wouldn’t be a sustainable life for him. But for now, he’s ours.” Solomon stands to full height and snakes his arms around your waist.
You grin as your hands come up to rest along his shoulders. “Ours?”
Solomon chuckles softly with a nod. “Yes,” he pauses for a moment, glancing down at the little goat who looks back up at him and “mehs” at him loudly. “I’ll think I’ll even let you name him.”

Jack and you were just about ready to leave the hotel room and head toward his Avatar premiere. However, there was an issue that he wasn’t aware of. You can’t take elevators.
Well, technically you could take an elevator, but the worry just eats you up from the inside out. Imagine all the possibilities of what could happen there! It could stop, you could get stuck, or worse, it could drop. And yes, maybe you were blowing this out of proportion but tell that to the 10,200 elevator accidents this year. Normally you would just take the stairs but with the heels you had on, it would be like walking through hell.
Yet by the time you were pulled out of your thoughts, the thing you dreaded most was straight ahead. The elevator. Now, you knew Jack wouldn't mind going down the stairs after all, it was just two floors, but you didn’t want to ruin the mood. Not when he was all giddy and excited for you to finally see the movie he worked years on.
Before approaching the elevator you came to a halt, Jack stopping with you. He looked at you with knitted eyebrows, silently asking you “What's up?” with his eyes. “Jack, can I ask you something?” Your tone was light, but you could hear the nervousness, you were just hoping he didn’t. “I don’t know, can you?” You rolled your eyes at his playful impertinent remark but asked your questions. “Is there any other way to get down? Like without the elevator?”. Jack's face morphed into an obviously perplexed one. “Not unless you wanna take the stairs. Or jump. We could probably jump, yeah?” He was chuckling at his own jokes when he noticed the serious look plastered onto your face.
“You really don't want to take the elevator?” you nodded your head at his question unsure of how he was going to respond. “How come?” he had asked, genuinely confused, Jack had loved elevators, he loved the feeling they gave him in his stomach. Like a rollercoaster ride almost.
You shuffled your feet, embarrassed to explain. “I'm afraid of them.” and though Jack didn't mean it, he found himself giggling at your confession. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry- Ok how do you wanna get down? Jumping is still an option,” You shook your head listlessly, and Jack got the message.
“Okay, how about we take the stairs?” he asked and his joking demeanor had faded. “Yeaaah, about that,” you dragged your vowels before resuming, “I think my ankles would be absolutely annihilated if I did”. Jack had a growing smirk on his face, he rubbed his chin pretending to be in deep thought. He snuck a quick glance at the staircase that was just across from where you both were standing and then a glance at you before talking. “I might have a solution.” He spoke, and before you even got to respond he swooped you up bridal style while running over to the stair case.
You had numerous protests while he was carrying you, they mostly consisted of “Jack put me down!” “Stop I’m gonna ruin your hair Jack!” and occasionally “People are looking!!” and Jack being Jack he didn’t stop until the of the stairs.
When you got there you shot him an injudicious look. “Why’d you do that? You could've messed up your outfit,” He shrugged evidently unbothered by his rash action, yet still grinning like the Cheshire cat. “You didn't seem too fond of the jumping option so I thought I’d help out a bit” You playfully shoved his shoulder. “Maybe I'll jump the next time we leave, okay?” He laughed while nodding his head. “Deal.”

A sudden loud chirp was what had woken you up from your peaceful slumber. Your ears folding down in a slight annoyance as you were so groggy.
You sighed tiredly, your nose stuffy and congested from your sleep. Your body felt so warm, you thought it was from the atmosphere of the cave.
Until, you felt the cool breath of someone from behind you.
You froze.
Who is that?
You had felt relieved once you remembered it was just Awpxey.
What left that relief short lived was the fact you had fallen asleep here, in this cave, all through the night, with Awpxey, exchanging kisses throughout the night, and you still haven’t said a thing to your parents. I mean how were you supposed to talk to them?
You were not home. And you were not going to wake them up in the middle of the night over the fact you couldn’t sleep.
But now you wish you had left some type of note. You were scared to return home. Gosh your parents are not going to be happy.
You knew that as soon as you walk through that hut entrance, your ass is as good as grass.
You’re done for. You’re gonna be on the worst punishments ever. This would be your first and very last time sneaking out.
If you even make it out of this, alive.
Awpxey’s head stirring had brought you back to reality, a deep sigh coming from his stuffy nose too.
You had stood up abruptly, your back weirdly warm due to his chest. But that was the last thing on your mind.
Guilt set in your stomach as you seen how he jerked due to your quick removal. He sat up, rubbing his eyes as he was trying to look at you but rub that itch out his eyes.
“Y/n?” Oh god… His morning voice was beyond fine.
“A-Awpxey… We-uhm, we fell asleep here. I have to get home, and I’m probably gonna be in trouble.” You ramble on nervously. When you looked down towards him to see why he was so quiet you found him already looking at you, a soft smile adorning his lips.
Awpxey proposed his idea. “Why don’t we go wash up first? Then I’ll walk you to your hut, and say it’s my fault you left and never went back in the first please, yeah?”
“No. No, that’s not fair for you to just take the blame lime that. I cant do that to you.”
“I’m doing it to myself, actually.”
Gosh when did everybody just start becoming such smartasses?
“Okay then, smartass. Since you know everything, fine then. You can do whatever you want. I don’t care.” You grumbled as you crossed your arms over your chest.
He smiled at you teasingly from the floor before standing and stretching. A yawn spread across your mouth as you heard his back crack.
You were caught off guard when Awpxey was just then in front of you, and pecked your lips.
You covered your mouth with both your hands in shock. His name coming muffled from behind your hands.
He stared at you confused, his head tilted as the skin of his eyebrow was raised on one side.
“You kissed me before I even washed my mouth!” You exclaim, your shock seemed so foreign to him, why was it so important.
Your mood felt more sour once you heard that familiar laugh. He was laughing at you, in your face. His head thrown pack with one hand slapped over his stomach kind of laugh.
“Boys are unsalvageable.” You mutter the comment to yourself, or at least it was supposed to be to yourself. In your daze of being annoyed at the fact Awpxey laughed at you, you didn’t notice when he had stopped.
Hands were suddenly around your waist from your front, scaring you. And there Awpxey was standing in all his glory, his tall stature hanging over you.
“What’s that supposed to mean, sevin?” You eyes widen at the question, and at the fact he had called you pretty.
There wasn’t must time to dwell on it before he smashed his lips against yours. His hands gently holding your waist, giving it four small squeezes.
Your hands soon moved up towards his shoulders, your arms wrapping behind his neck, deepening the kiss.
The kiss lasted for almost a good minute, before you realized neither of you had washed your mouths.
“Awpxey! That’s the second time!” You jump back after you separate from the kiss.
“What are you, a germaphobe or something?” He asked mockingly while rolling his eyes. You turned back to glare at him while you exited the cave.
You were glad there was a river close to where the cave was located as you submerged yourself knee-deep into the cool water.
It helped cool down your hot skin, so you had given in to your urge and went completely underwater.
The cold water enveloped you, your hair, your clothes, your jewelry, your whole body.
When you resurfaced, a small pant evident in your chest, you turned around to see Awpxey around shoulder deep into the water.
You swam towards him, catching his attention quick. A smile on both of your faces.
“Have you washed your mouth?” He asked matter-of-factly. And you responded just the same.
“Yes I have, have you?” You were expectant for his answer as what you wanted to say was on the tip of your tongue.
“I sure did.” He said with so much confidence.
“Hard to believe…” You mutter out purposely, hoping to get under his skin. Which you had.
“What did you say?” He leaned forward to you, turning his head to point his ear at you.
You placed your mouth right in front of his ear, speaking decibels louder. “Hard to believe.”
Awpxey moved back, shock on his face. “I’m offended Y/n.” He placed his hand on his chest.
“That’s okay.” You shrugged, a smile breaking out on your face.
“You’re so mean to me, makes me wanna kiss you.” You froze at his words.
“What?” You say blindly, shock written all over you.
“You heard me. Didn’t you?” He wasn’t be serious was he? He’s just trying to bother you for bothering him that’s all.
Yeah. That’s all.
But it wasn’t when he put his index finger under your chin, lifting your head so you look back up to his face.
“I said I wanna kiss you. Can I?”
You were speechless. Not really knowing what to say back to him, but you blindly nodded anyways.
“Can I hear you say it? I gotta know you’re functioning Y/n.”
Oh Eywa.
Somebody needs to come get this man.
“F-fine. You can kiss me.” You grumbled.
“Good.” Awpxey said with a smile.
His lips then connected with yours, his hands holding the sides of your face gently as the kiss deepened.
Your hands held onto his biceps, your legs felt weak under the water. His arms were working as your extra support.
You have never felt anything more intimate in your whole life.
This is what true love felt like.
This must be what your parents feel like, your grandparents. Your grandfather who you were never able to meet.
And the many generations before that. They had all felt true love. They all had their own intimate moments such as this. You’re experiencing that moment, right now.
“Awpxey.” You said breathlessly. He felt this way too right?
“Y/n.” His voice was so soft, it was smooth and sultry. A tone like no other.
“I want to ask you something, Y/n. If you don’t have a problem with that.”
You nodded, “it’s fine Awpxey, you can ask me.”
“Come,” he beckoned, “I want to ask you while sitting down somewhere.”
You nodded, following him out the water. You watched starstruck as water cascaded down his back. Going through and then out of the crevices and dips from his muscles.
Eywa took her time on him.
Before you knew it you were sat on a patch of grass not far from the river, Awpxey next to you.
“What was it you wanted to ask me Awpxey?” You didn’t want to rush him, your parents the last thing on your mind right now.
He took a deep breath, settling his nerves before he spoke.
“I want to start courting you.”
You did everything to stay still and to just look and listen so your body language didn’t send any of the wrong signs.
You gave a small smile and a nod as you noticed he had more to say.
Awpxey turned more towards you, grabbing your hand. Fidgeting with your fingers and the rings you wore, along with your bracelets.
“This is why I want to court you.” He starts.
“You read me so well, you read everybody so well. You notice the little things and always want to help!” You nod, letting him know that he has your full attention and that you’re listening to him.
“You’re so sweet, and kind, and beautiful. You can make anybody happy. You light up rooms when you walk in and your smile brightens everyone’s day. The elders love you since you are so kind. You’re humble! And they love that, I know I do.” You laugh at his small comment, trying not to cry at his sweet words.
“And the children.. The classes that you teach you can hear them when they talk to their parents, just raving about just how amazing you are, and how you’re so interactive and I just love you.” Your eyes widen.
“I love you. And I want to show it by courting you. So, I am asking for your permission. Y/n te Sulli Neytiri’ite, may I, Awpxey te Relongtai Puo’itan, court you?”
Your eyes well with tears. His words were so heartfelt. No one had ever said they loved you but your own family. To hear it from somebody else in that way caused this feeling in your chest that was so foreign and unexplainable you didn’t know what to do.
But you did know that you loved him, you loved Awpxey. So you nodded. You nodded accepting his request to court you.
“Y-Yes Awpxey. You can court me.” You wiped your tears as you laughed, feeling a bit embarrassed at your reaction.
He tackled you into a hug. Holding you tightly before his whispered a small ‘thank you’ into your ear.
“Does that mean we’re boyfriend and girlfriend now?” You asked into his shoulder.
“I guess so, but that’s only if you want to.”
“Then I guess we’re boyfriend and girlfriend.”
You both laid there, together. Enjoying your moment, until your eyes widened, realizing that you are still out here and your family has no idea where you are.
“Oh my god Awpxey!” You exclaimed, rushing to get up.
“What? What happened?” He got up just as frantically as you had.
“I have to go home! I haven’t went home, oh my god! Awpxey I’m gonna be in so much trouble! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh.”
Awpxey was quick to be at your side, holding your shoulders to calm you down.
“It’s gonna be okay. Everything’s gonna be okay, okay? Like I said earlier, I’ll take the blame. I’ll say it was apart of my plan when I was asking to court you, alright?”
You shook your head, “I can’t allow you to get in trouble like that! I’m not doing that to you!”
You were refusing, you know how your parents could get, you did not need the only man who had shown you true love and interest in you, to be chased away by your parents who are borderline-psychotic.
“Please Awpxey, I can’t lose you.” Your eyes had gotten teary again. And that’s when Awpxey realized how serious this was to you.
“Okay Y/n, okay. We’ll figure something out, I promise.” Awpxey pulled you to his chest, brushing your hair back from your face.
“I’m just gonna tell the truth… My mother always told me that the truth sets you free, so I’m gonna say what really happened.” You were dead set on not letting Awpxey lie for you. And he could see that, so he nodded, not wanting to upset you further.
“If that’s what you wanna do Y/n, you can do that. You know your family better than I do, you know their morals and what they believe.” Awpxey still held you, his chin resting on your head.
“We should go now…” You whispered meekly. “Go and get it over with.” There was an apology at the tip of your tongue. But you wanted to hold it, just in case you might really need to say it later.
“Okay, let’s go Y/n.” Awpxey held your hand the whole way. He talked to you and helped you take your mind off things for quite a bit.
You then realized that you were at the point where you would need your ikran to go back to High Camp.
“Awpxey, we need our Ikran now.. To go back.” You had gotten sad at even the thought of returning. You were scared to see how your parents would react.
Awpxey agreed, and had noticed your hesitation, so he placed his hand on your shoulder, rubbing it gently.
When you both had finished calling your ikran, and they had both arrived, you mounted them. Riding back to your home located in the Hallelujah Mountains.
Once you were there, and had landed your ikran, the amount of anxiety and trepidation inside your stomach was unreal.
As you two walked close to where your hut was you had stopped, shaking your head.
“Y/n? What’s wrong?”
“I can’t go in there Awpxey. I can’t go in there. They’re going to be so mad at me, so disappointed I can’t do this. I can’t, I really can’t.” You rambled out, your breath shortening as you panted.
“Y/n. Y/n, you need to focus. Okay? Look at me. Y/n look at me please.” Your eyes flickered to his. “You can do this, okay? Don’t ever say you can’t. Got it?”
“G-got it.” You nodded. “I-I’m going to go now, I want you to stay out here though Awpxey. I don’t.. I don’t want them to act different if you’re in there, okay?”
He nodded immediately, understanding your situation. “I got it Y/n. If anything, absolutely anything happens, come look for me. I’ll most likely be in my hut with my parents, okay?” You smiled.
“Okay Awpxey.” You hugged him, hugged him tight to savor his body warmth because you had no idea if that was going to be your last time seeing him.
“You’re going to be okay Y/n, go. I promise.” Yo nodded, waving goodbye to him before walking towards your hut.
You walked slow, your footsteps light as to not aware anybody in the hut.
When you had finally approached the entrance, walking through it slowly, your chest heavy and your mind hazy you stopped.
All heads turned to you quickly, your parents the first to stand. They rushed towards you, both exclaiming, “Y/n!” As they ran.
Your father grabbed you, turning you around and examining your body for any injuries, he had obviously, found none.
Your mother held your hand, pulling your head to her chest as she cried tears of joy at the fact you had come home, safe, and with no injuries.
“Where have you been ma’ite? We were all so worried for you!”
“I-I’m okay mom, I swear. This is a really, really big misunderstanding.” You held your hands out.
“Misunderstanding?” You dad echoed.
“Yes, misunderstanding. I want to explain you guys what happened first before you ask me anything though, okay?” Your parents nodded, they had beckoned your siblings out, though they protested as they wanted to see you too.
Your parents gave them the promise that they will see you later.
Awpxey watched from afar as he seen all your siblings walk out the hut, incoherent protests leaving their mouths.
‘Shit.’
Once they were all gone, and your father checked the area to see that they were really gone, you all sat at the table.
As your parents faced you, you fidgeted with your jewelry, scared to even look them in the face.
“Ma’ite? What happened? Why were you gone for so long?” Your mother asked. That’s when you finally looked up.
“I-It’s a little bit of a long story? I’m going to explain everything though.” Your father nodded, giving you his undivided attention.
“Last night, I could not fall asleep.” Your parents began to nod along to your story.
“So, I decided that I would go to the forest, to get my mind off of things.” You internally cringed as you seen your fathers eyes widen.
“I know, I know that it was really, really dangerous to leave with out saying anything and with the fact Sky People are here, I know. I hesitated at first. I was scared to even go. But I followed my gut. I think it was the best decision I ever made actually.” You said with a sheepish smile after your last sentence.
Your parents’ brows furrowed as they shared a look between each other.
“Anyway, while I was out there, about to bother the fan lizards, I had found Awpxey.” The name felt heavy on your tongue, worried about how your father would feel before anybody else.
“We hung out, and then he took me to this really pretty cave that had an open top so we watched the stars.” Your cheeks felt warm as you knew you were leaving some details out.
“We watched the stars and then fell asleep after a while, and when we woke up we washed at the river then came here.” You felt bad for worrying your parents, but at the same time you are so, so glad you left.
“Nothing like that happened either, dad. We only hung out, talked and stargazed. That’s it.” Toy father put his hands up.
“I-I never said anything.” He already looked so guilty, but you know you had put him on the spot.
“I know how you are, I just want to say it to clear any thoughts.”
After about 10 seconds you noticed your mother’s ongoing silence. You peeked up at her nervously, wondering why she hadn’t said anything.
You were shocked to see she had a smile on her face. Did she know?
“I’m glad it was only positive stuff that happened ma’ite, is there anything else you want to say?”
You choked as you remembered the fact Awpxey is now courting you.
“Babygirl?” Your dad asked.
“Uhm.. Yeah. One more thing..” You let out a nervous chuckle.
“Awpxeyaskedtocourtmesoweretechnicallykindofdatingnow!” You rushed out in one breath.
“What?” Your parents said simultaneously.
You took a deep breath. “Awpxey asked to court me. So.. We’re technically kind of dating now…”
Your eyes were shut. And you wanted to keep it that way.
You peeked through one squinted eyelid, just to see your mother holding your fathers head.
Your body slumped in as you stared on in disbelief.
“Sh, sh, sh, it’s okay ma’jake. It’s okay.” Your mother patted his head.
“Wha- Mom. What is even happening right now?” You jumbled out.
You then heard a hiccup. A deep one.
Is your father crying?
“Dad?” You asked worriedly.
When his head lifted to face towards you your heart broke. You had never seen your father cry in your 17 years of living. So to see his tearful face and swollen eyes, knowing you were the reason broke you.
“Dad.” Your eyes watered, hands clenching into fists at your side to try and hold them back.
“Oh babygirl, come here.” You both hugged, he held you close to him, and you cried into his shoulder. Happy to feel the familiar parental love and warm body that used to hold you when you were young.
The sensation had felt so far away at this point. It was heartwarming to feel it again.
Feel it as if you were little all over again.
“I’m sorry dad.” You didn’t know what exactly you were apologizing for, whether it was for making him cry, dating Awpxey or both. But regardless, you knew you had to apologize.
Your mother looked at you both with a smile on her face, an idea flashing in her head.
“You should invite him for dinner.” You and your father turned to look at your mother quickly. Both talking out at the same time.
“No!”
“Really?”
You look to your father quickly, trying to catch his eye as he avoided looking at you.
“I mean, uh. Yeah, uhm yeah. H-he should come for dinner, yeah.”
Your mother came forward, patting Jake on his shoulder. “You’ll be fine ma’Jake. I think it would be nice, think about it. We can see what he’s really like.”
You nodded, “please dad? He’s super nice, and respectful! He’s like a family man.” You had made sure to add the last comment because you knew it would win your dad over.
You could see the cogs in his brain working as he actually thought about it.
“Hmm.. Okay, okay fine he can come over for dinner.”
You jumped into his arms, knocking him onto his butt on the floor. “Thank you! Thank you, thank you! Thank you dad! I love you!” You kissed his cheeks and hugged him, he smiled as he hugged you back.
“You’re welcome, and I love you too babygirl.”
“Now go, go get him for dinner. Because I will start preparing it soon.” Your mother shooed you, and you left hastily with a new excitement as she was pulling you out the hut.
You walked around for a bit, looking for Awpxey’s hut when you finally noticed his father, Puo outside, hanging loincloths to dry.
You walk up to him speaking quietly as to not abruptly disturb him. “Excuse me, Mr. Relongtai?” He turned around at the call of his name.
“Oh, Y/n. Oel Ngati Kameie.” He said, doing the hand sign’s greeting. “Oel Ngati Kameie.” You greet back.
“What brings you here Y/n?” He asked.
So Awpxey hasn’t said anything to his parents. Good, that’s good. For right now at least.
“I was wondering if I could borrow Awpxey for dinner? My, uhm, my parents invited him over for dinner.” Puo had smiled at you.
“That’s fine with me! I’ll pack him a plate to take so he doesn’t go over there empty handed! Just go look for him inside and tell him to get presentable. Don’t need my son to look ugly if I’m handsome.” He mutters his last sentence sarcastically, chuckling at his own joke.
“If I’m being honest, he has your looks!” You gave a kind smile.
Puo paused, “really?” He asked, patting his cheeks. He smiled before running into the hut, yelling, “Itxä! Itxä! Y/n said Awpxey has my looks! That means I look young right?”
You peeked into the hut, seeing Puo kneeling next to Itxä who was re-braiding her hair.
“Puo! Get away from me! Go hang the clothes like I told you!” She was nudging him away with her elbow, still skillfully braiding her hair.
“But Itxä, you don’t think I’m handsome?” Puo asked with a frown.
“I mean, sometimes. It deducts points when you drool, you know unless-” She was cut off by Puo.
“Okay! Thanks by honey see you later!” He rushed back out the hut.
You finally noticed Awpxey in the corner, cringing at his mother’s innuendo.
“Mom really? Unless? Unless what? You know, don’t even answer I’m okay.” You giggled, a hand covering your mouth.
That had caught Itxä and Awpxey’s attention. Awpxey stood with a smile once he saw you.
“Y/n. Are you okay? Did everything go good?” He approached you, a nervous look in his eye.
You nodded happily, “yeah, everything went good. Really good actually. They want you to come over for dinner.”
Awpxey’s eyes widened. They wanted him to come over?
“R-really?” He was shocked, very shocked.
“Mhm! And I’m sure it’s with good intention! My mother proposed the idea and my father even agreed!” You fiddled with a bracelet on your arm.
“Mrs. Relongtai, is it okay if Awpxey comes over for dinner at my house?” You ask, knowing it would be rude to not even acknowledge her.
“Yes please, don’t even ask! It’s good he goes out. Or just gets out.” She adds quietly.
“What? Mom!” He turned to her, her head facing the wall to not look at him.
“What? I didn’t say anything!” She rolled her eyes. “Make sure you take a plate of food to offer to the Sully’s! Don’t even think you’re going over there empty handed slugging your shoulders.” You laughed, covering your mouth as it accidentally came out to loud.
“Y/n? You’re laughing too?” You placed your hand on his chest, still covering your mouth, shaking your head.
“No, no I was just, uhm..” You mumbled from behind your hand as you tried to think of an excuse.
“You’re hurting my heart Y/n.” Awpxey said walking away, going and packing a plate of what his parents had made for dinner.
“You’ll be fine, and make sure you tell the Sully’s I said hello, Awpxey!” Itxä called from the floor.
“I will, bye mom, love you!” Awpxey said as he started to leave the hut, you in tow.
“Bye, love you too!” She called back. As you walked by his father, he also said his farewells.
“Bye dad, love you.” He said as he intertwined his fingers with yours.
“Bye Awpxey, see you later, correct?” His dad teased. Awpxey pursed his lips in embarrassment.
“Yeah dad see you later.” Awpxey grumbled.
“See you son, love you.” Puo said before turning back around, continuing to hang up clothing items and other pieces.
“Love you too.” Awpxey then pulled you a long with him, walking to your hut.
“Awpxey?” You call for him.
“Hm?” He hums back in response.
“How do you know where I live?” You genuinely question. You weren’t trying to press him on anything personal, you just wanted to know.
“Y/n..” He says, his face was almost in a form of shock. “What?” You respond confused.
“Almost like everybody knows where you live… You’re a royal Y/n, even then, everybody knows where everybody lives. And your hut gets a bit rowdy with your siblings. Though it’s definitely not the biggest household.” You nodded in agreement at his last comment, you always wonder how the Ipexti Family is doing.
And wonder how they even managed 14 kids.
“Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I’m sure my brother kind of just lets everybody know doesn’t he?” You said with a small laugh.
You didn’t notice it, but Awpxey stared at you, looking at your smile, and all the features on your face.
Eywa took her time on her.
He had thought, he shook his head continuing to walk towards your house.
As you got closer, you slowed as you noticed your brother, Lo’ak, standing in the entrance of the hut. His arms crossed over his chest and his foot tapping impatiently on the ground.
“Oh God…” You mumbled as you seen him.
“Is that Lo’ak?” Awpxey asked, his eyes squinting as he smiled.
“Oh my God. Just walk by or something, cover your face so he doesn’t see us.” You muttered as you placed a hand to cover the side of your face.
“Y/n!” A voice suddenly yelled out. You did not turn your head as you knew exactly who it was.
“Y/n Sully!” Lo’ak continued to yell.
Now you see why everyone knows where you live.
You walked even slower towards your home. Awpxey laughed, seeing how you felt embarrassed.
Once you were finally near the entrance, you had noticed Neteyam stand up from the table and stand behind Lo’ak. Once you were in front of Lo’ak, he squinted his eyes to Awpxey.
“And who are you?” Lo’ak sneered at him.
“Lo’ak!” But your call had fallen on deaf ears.
Awpxey opened his mouth to answer, but was silenced when a hand rose up towards his face.
“Save it. I want to know what you’re doing with my sister. And why you’re here, holding her hand.” Lo’ak poked his chest, his eyes trained solely on Awpxey.
“Lo’ak.” You let out a low warning, Neteyam seemed to notice how serious you gotten. So he reached forward and placed a hand gently around Lo’ak’s elbow.
Awpxey raised his hands in surrender, balancing the covered plate of food in his other.
“I come in no harm. I’m here with your sister for this dinner and to meet your family.” Awpxey explained.
“Meet us for what? Are you trying to mate her?” Lo’ak jabbed his finger back into Awpxey’s chest, and his eyes widened at Lo’aks question, not even the gesture.
That’s when Neteyam pulled Lo’ak back by his elbow, turning him around and pushing him into the hut.
“That’s enough.” He said to Lo’ak, still gripping onto his arm. Lo’ak pulled his arm back, walking to the table and sitting down.
“I apologize for his behavior, he doesn’t usually act like this.” Neteyam said, facing Awpxey with an apologetic smile.
“That’s alright, I can see why he’s upset.” Awpxey smiled.
When Neteyam had finally looked away, you turned to Awpxey, “I’m sorry about him. Don’t let him make you upset he does that to everybody really.”
Awpxey laughed, “it’s okay Y/n, I really don’t have have a problem with it.” He said with a smile.
You nodded, giving a nervous smile back. When you faced back towards the hut, grabbing his hand gently. You were shocked to see how everyone in the hut had a stiff face.
Your mother and father included.
What happened to the happy go lucky moods they had earlier when they told you to invite him?
You sighed, already feeling defeated in some way.
You just hoped he didn’t want to leave you.
Approaching the table, you sat in your usual spot, making sure that there was enough space for Awpxey before looking at everyone.
No one was batting an eyelash at you, everyone was looking at Awpxey. Their faces serious. It shocking to you to see even Tuk staring at him with her face hard from next to you.
She grabbed onto your arm, hugging herself around it and resting her head in your bicep, your hand instinctively coming to the top of her head.
You couldn’t see it, but Tuk smiled to the other side of the table. To your siblings that sat on the other side, expectant.
They must have not taken the news of you bringing a boy home too kindly.
The tension in the air was so thick, and you could see it was working Awpxey’s nerves as he rubbed his hands up and down his thighs.
Though he was the first to break the silence, “I brought a plate of fwampop, I helped my mother make it for dinner. I don’t know if any of you like that, so I apologize if you don’t. I’m sure it should still be warm.” He pulled the wrapping off the top of the plate, showing the seasoned meat, steam elevating as the barrier was released.
“Fwampop is fine.” It was Kiri’s voice who cut into the air next. You noticed her posture and realized how intimidating she actually looked. Her arms crossed over her chest as she looked at Awpxey, the usual warm expression she wears, gone.
“Yeah, thank you.” Tuk said as she leaned forward, making sure to be in his line of sight as her tone wasn’t the most, welcoming.
Your mother gave an expectant look towards your brothers, making them flicker their eyes to each other before looking back at Awpxey.
“Thank you.” It wasn’t exactly rude, but it wasn’t nice either. You’ve never heard them sound so passive aggressive.
“It was very nice of you to bring us something, Awpxey.” Your mother broke her characteristic silence, her voice calming and comforting as she nodded her head Awpxey.
“Now, how about we eat, yeah?” Your dad asked, placing his hand around Neytiri’s waist, pulling her closer.
You all hummed and nodded in agreement.
When you all began to serve yourselves, saying a quick prayer before eating, you took the time to look around. Seeing that the atmosphere had lightened up somewhat, they were making their own conversations. In their own little worlds.
So you took that as an opportunity to talk to Awpxey.
“Hey..” You whisper, bumping his knee with yours. He turns his head, responding in a quiet “hm?” As he finished the food he was chewing.
“You okay?” You continue to whisper, keeping your head as straight as possible while still attempting to look at him.
“Yeah I’m good.” He whispered back, nodding.
“Good.” You nodded, giving him a smile before returning back to your food.
Once you all began to approach the end of your meals, you noticed everybody start to sit up straighter, clearing their throats.
Oh God.. The questions were to start now…
“So Awpxey..” Your father started, Awpxey already had his head up, his eyes and ears focused on your father to catch every word he said.
“What do you do? For the clan?” He finished.
Awpxey cleared his throat, “I am a Warrior.” Your father’s eyes widened for a split moment.
“Warrior?” Awpxey nodded. “Yes sir, I am.”
“How come..” Your father’s eyebrows were furrowed. “How come I’ve never seen you?”
Awpxey smiled, “I guess I’m not that important, or just unnoticeable.” You wrapped your fingers around his, your face scrunching in confusion.
His smile.. He looked so dejected, his eyes having a dog-tired look swirling in his irises.
You didn’t care if anyone at the table got mad at you for showing some type of ‘affection’ towards Awpxey.
Neytiri looked at the both of you, a smile on her face as she noticed the slight movement under the table.
“You work along side your father?” Your dad asked, wanting to change the subject as he as well noticed the expression on Awpxey.
Awpxey nodded, “most of the time, unless we’re assigned apart to different groups.” Your father hummed and nodded.
Neytiri cleared her throat quietly, bringing the attention of everyone to her.
“I made kalin paste. If anybody wants any?”
Everyone around the table quickly nodded. Your mother looked towards Jake, pointing her chin to the pot that held the paste.
“And don’t eat it all while you’re over there.” Your fathers ears twinged purple in embarrassment.
“I won’t..” He muttered, his lips pursed as he walked to the steaming pot.
Minutes later, you all had your own servings of the kalin paste. Lo’ak with the most on his plate.
As you finished up your plate, you took the time to look around at your family.
Neteyam, he was in his own world, Lo’ak, he was still scraping for scraps of the paste on his plate, Kiri, she was fiddling with something in her hands, your parents, who were talking with their hands in front of their face as if they were gossiping like teenagers.
Which they were.
Now on your right, closest to your parents was Awpxey. And you were unprepared when you turned your head to look at him to find him already staring at you.
“Hey..” He whispers, a smile on his face.
“Hi.” You whisper back, the same smile mirroring onto your face.
“Can you tell your mom that her kalin paste is the best I’ve had? It’s really good, please tell her.” You smiled, your hand coming to cover it as you nodded in agreement.
“What are you doing?” As he asked, you hesitated in answering, but you had already decided.
“People Watching.” You say with an embarrassed smile.
“People Watching?” Awpxey echoes curiously. You were relieved when you didn’t hear any type of disgust or disappointment in his tone or face. He was genuinely curious.
“It’s where you kind of just, uhm, you know. Watch people? But it’s not that simple. You- you mostly actually observe them. And think, think a lot about what they’re like, or what they can be like. What they could be like. You evaluate them, study, but on a emotional and physical note? When you People Watch, you aren’t supposed to judge, because all it is, is an observation, and thinking.” As you end your rambling, you bring a hand to your mouth and squeeze it tightly, not even for a second.
It was an unfortunate habit you developed young when you realized you talked to much.
Awpxey noticed, and in an attempt to distract you, he grabbed your hand gently. Intertwining your fingers together.
“That’s really cool.” He squeezes your hand, a toothy smile adorning his lips.
“You think so?” Your eyes search his, looking for any type of sign that could show he’s lying.
“Of course! How long have you been doing this?”
“My whole life. It’s actually like a hereditary thing. Mostly between the females in my family. My grandma, her mom, my mom, my late aunt, my sisters do it too, only sometimes. And my brothers.” You roll your eyes at the me ruin of your brothers, thinking of mostly Lo’ak. He stares at people. Little weirdo.
You hoped, hoped that this genetic trait didn’t scare him away and make you look even more like the weirdo you are.
It doesn’t, it really doesn’t.
All these little things you tell him, these details. He eats it all up, saving it to his memories and saving it to learn more about it later.
He was planning to try and do this “People Watching” trick when he got home, or when his stomach wasn’t as full.
Maybe he could try it with his parents? His friends while they train, or just strangers around the clan.
Though nobody in this clan is really a stranger.
“I wanna try it,” he frowned. You laughed, “why are you frowning? You could try it now if you want? With my parents and siblings? But you might be too tired, kalin paste is heavy on the stomach.” He nodded in agreement.
“Can I do it tomorrow? I really wanna try it.” He slouched.
You smiled, “you can do it tomorrow. I think you’ll enjoy it.”
Awpxey smiled, looking at yours. His eyes trailed your face, looking at your lips.
It was as if his surroundings melted, Awpxey was stuck in a white space with just you. His hand squeezed yours tighter, eyes moving across your face in a triangular motion.
When he began to raise his hand to try and caress your chin, everything rushed back to him.
He’s still in your family’s hut, still sitting at your dining table, still with your family.
“Oh, uhm.” He stumbled, his hand slowly coming back down, lightly slapping against his lap.
You let out a small chuckle, wondering what was going through Awpxey’s head at this exact moment.
“Awpxey?” You mutter quietly, a small giggle escaping your mouth as you see him come back to reality, blinking a bit too hard.
“S-sorry Y/n..” He stuttered, you began to nod in response, opening your mouth to say something before something brushed against your back, skin brushed against your back.
You turn your head to look behind you, only to be met with a swaying Tuk, a drowsy weighed-down look on her face.
“Tuk?” Your sister took your attention from Awpxey. Though he had no problem with that with how questionable Tuk’s state was.
“Is she okay?” But Awpxey’s voice only echoed in the back of your mind, right now, the only thing you can think of is Tuk.
“Tuk? Tuk what happened?” You grasped her cheeks in your hands, turning her face towards you. You could tell she was mumbling something, but you could not see what.
“What are you saying Tuk? What happened?”
“A-ate to much… Ate to much kalin paste.. Stomach hurts and I’m very tired…” She mumbled.
You felt a bit relieved as you realized it wasn’t anything serious, but the fact she was in pain made you sad.
“Okay then Tuk,” you laugh. “I’ll go put you to bed, okay?”
All Tuk was able to offer back was a simple nod.
You stood up, scooping Tuk up in a bridal style. She was obviously very, very tired by the way she snuggled her head closer to your chest, curling up in your arms.
When you reached the sleeping mats, you placed Tuk on her respective mat, tucking her in, saying a quick prayer before you placed a kiss on her forehead and left.
When you arrived back at the table, your parents had asked you what happened with Tuk, which you explained.
“She ate to much kalin paste and got dizzy? But she was swaying and said her stomach hurt, oh, and that she was tired. So I just put her to bed.”
Your mother smiles and nodded in appreciation, you always made things a bit easier for her around the house.
You loved helping out, it would make you feel complete when you were always able to help people.
Awpxey watched you, he watched quietly as he seen you walk back to the table, an empty spot now behind you where Tuk was previously sat.
“Sorry about that. I just get really worried about my siblings.” You rub your hand against your forearm embarrassingly, not noticing Awpxey’s smile.
“Don’t apologize for it, it’s okay.” He messed with his loincloth. You smile, flashing a tired smile.
Awpxey had noticed, seeing the small bags under your eyes. “Hey, do you want me to go now? You look pretty tired.” Your eyes flicker to his, now at the fact it was pointed out, you started to feel sluggish. Your eyes struggling to keep themselves open as the kalin paste started to push down on your stomach.
“You know what? Now that you said that, I actually feel super tired.” You rub your eye, holding back a yawn in your throat. Awpxey smiled at you, “I’ll tell your parents.”
He turned towards your parents, who were still in their conversation, trying to find a part to speak to them without interrupting.
“Excuse me Mr. and Mrs. Sully?” Your parents stop, looking towards Awpxey, “yeah honey?” Neytiri says with a smile.
“I’m going to be heading home now, Y/n’s very tired and I don’t want to hold your family up any longer.” Neytiri and Jake both smiled, nodding their heads toward Awpxey.
“Okay Awpxey, be careful and make it home safe, okay?” Your mom said. Awpxey nodded, “I will Mrs. Sully! Thank you for having me for dinner, it was very good, and your kalin paste is the best!” Neytiri and Jake laughed together, your father nodding in agreement.
You smiled, getting up to walk Awpxey to the entrance of the hut. But what you didn’t know was that Kiri had also gotten up, following you both out the hut.
Right when you were about to wish Awpxey a goodnight and send him off, your sister, Kiri had rounded the corner coming to a stop at your side.
“Kiri? Is something wrong?” Your sister shook her head, looking forward to Awpxey.
“I wanted to bring him this, here you go Awpxey.” Your sister pushed an object into Awpxey’s hand.
Awpxey looked down at it, holding and feeling the smoothed surface of the object, not being able to tell what it was straight away.
“It’s a Lepidolite, a peace stone, it brings good luck. I’m giving it to you now that you are in a relationship with my sister, so you are both stable enough to take care of each other.” Kiri said with a sincere nod. Awpxey smiled, “thank you Kiri. That’s very thoughtful of you.”
You watched with smile, seeing how Awpxey fidgeted with the polished surface of the lilac-gray crystal.
“Goodnight guys, see you in the morning Y/n.” Kiri waved the both of goodbye, walking back into the hut and heading towards the sleeping mats.
You waved her goodbye, turning back towards Awpxey, feeling shy.
“Too quiet to say goodnight to me now too?” Awpxey teased as he leaned down to your face, trying to catch your eyes.
You giggled, “be quiet Awpxey.” Your cheeks burning as you smiled hard.
You turned your head up in his direction, smiling as you tried to hold back a laugh and make eye contact with him.
“Goodnight Awpxey, get a good nights rest, okay?” He nodded, reciprocating. “You too Y/n, sleep well..”
You both stood in a small silence, it was comfortable and not awkward. Awpxey was the one who made the initiating move and leaned forward, planting a small kiss on your lips.
You were quick to kiss him back, making sure not to leave his lips stranded for too long.
When you both parted, a small ‘smooch’ sound indicating that your lips separated, you stood with your hands clasped together behind your back.
“Goodnight Y/n.”
“Goodnight Awpxey.”
After finally saying goodnight, Awpxey walked back home, smiling all the way back to his hut. Happy to see his parents together in their sleeping mat.
When you were done recollecting yourself outside of your hut, you walked back inside. Shocked to find all the plates put away, hanging to dry.
When you walked toward the family room, looking to see where everyone went. You were not shocked to see everybody already asleep, tangled in their own bedrolls.
You were happy to see your parents together in their sleeping mat.
Getting into your mat and tucking yourself in, you reflected on your day. Thinking about how it was a really good day and how your family accepted Awpxey.
You yawned, turning on your left side as your eyes began to shut due to your tiredness.
Warmly, you let your body succumb to the drowsiness you felt.
Oh my gosh you guys. This is longggg… I feel like almost all of my stories are long, maybe to long.
