ooc. time to read miss robin lines and evaporate.
Tumblr media
inhales... i mean. it is true. this goes back to the Drama CD when MRobin said something along the lines of who is me i don't have a life etc etc. Honestly, c/hrom's open mind to people and second chances amaze me to no end sobs. (INHALES AND WHALES ABOUT GANGY AND WALLY COMING THRU FREE SPOT PASS EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE)
Tumblr media
why she cute man? it is always so adorable when avatar's first thought when they wear something new is how they reflect back on ylisse in general and c.hrom in particular waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa just dress and enjoy the event sobs
Tumblr media
it just hit me that ... frobin adds (san) to chrom's name. even now i remember in the Drama CD i think she did that, too. mrobin does not. i can understand why, the whole different gender and in a position like frobin in, she can't just seem TOO friendly to the leader she serve when they dont share a close relationship like beyond friendship. it makes sense but the KRUMB IN MY BRAIN SHAKING HIS CAGE AND RATTLING IT SAYING HE DOES NT CARE HE WANTS HIS FRIENDS TO NOT TREAT HIM TOO DIFFERENTLY EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE probably eng wins this one with keeping his name without a title. ch.rom in the back shaking and crying because he does not want his friends to act differently. wobby dont treat him like that;;;
Tumblr media
I SEEE. so they used tome for her and not a sword (levin sword :EYES:) makes sense. i like they given her a different weapon than mrobin ngl. even if she used the sword she still gets me on my knee asking for her hand in marriage. high friendship is when you two can stay in the same job and back each other--aka the dorking and his smart bestie strategist. high five!
Tumblr media
... she wants to protect this?
Tumblr media
snorts. ok. she can. wait. technically, she can. yes, please. he is magic buffoon so his defense. please protect his ass from magic pew pew. pretty please with sugar on the top.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
THAT YOU ALL ARE. SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYING!!!!
Tumblr media
C.hrom seeing this would be like--too many robins in the same area
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HEY! LOOK AT THEM! WORKING TOGETHER! AND THE INTERNET CAN'T DO IT! SMH INTERNET. SMH. i'm forever thankful for this. thanks. thank you. mwah mwah mwah perfect. c.hrom can have two tacticians why not. power of friendship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! chef kiss. when intelsys does something good.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this conversation.. i want to print this and hang it over my bed. everywhere because BAKAME! FOOLS!!!! YOU THINK YOU CAN MAKE US GO TO WAR WHO IS BEST FROBY OR MROBY! FOOLS! BAKAME! THEY ARE BOTH PRECIOUS CUTIE PATOOTIE! HA! THEY ARE BOTH VALLIES AND PLAINS OF GREENESS! IDIOTS! sobs...i love them. encouraging each other and sharing their admiration for the man who give them a new beginning ...lays on the ground. hold the air tightly.
hello. i love them. just because my faith in humanity is almost ugh state when it comes to the avatars and the whole war who is better with a himbo called krumbino. but i still love their friendship and bonds to him sobs. drama cd is forever rent free in my mind, especially the part of Emmeryn's Will and mrobin le shock that emmeryn is this gentle and kind of person till her last second. i love....

This is random and just came to my mind, what if the MC was an online roleplayer and unknowingly was Levi's friend before they even came to the devildom? Like, Levi and the MC were in... a Rurichan roleplay server on discord and got to know one another there. And then when MC arrived they would not always, but often be in their room just roleplaying with him.
Okay first of all this is freaking genius and I love it. Ahhh this is going to be so wholesome and CHAOTIC CUTE haahhaha thank you for this! I'll try and do my best to do it justice. This is so adorable I can't-
Tumblr media
Levi:*barging into your room* MC you've got to come see this!!
MC: What's up Levi? A new game?
Levi: Well technically not new but they released a new and improved version of Cosplay Battle Saga!
MC: Oh my god! I love that game! We even had this in the human world! I haven't played it in so long!
Levi: You used to play this? Did you have an account and avatar?
MC: Why of course I did! I always made them look so cool! Ah I miss it.
Levi: You can use your old avatar again!
MC: Wait what? Really? The data is still saved?
Levi: Like I said it's the same thing. Just with massive updates! Of course you'll need your password though.
MC: Ah don't worry I remember it. I still use it for some other things. Where do I log in?
Levi: *pointing at his screen* The game is being installed right now. After that we'll log in from two different devices.
MC: Gotcha! Ah I wonder I'll meet my old friend's there again. Do they even play anymore?
Levi: I know most of my friends do. But there's this one friend I haven't seen in years. They were the closest to me. Ah I miss them.
MC: I know right? I used to have a close friend here too. There was this game server on discord where we used to text almost all the time. We used to have fun roleplaying and making up our own adventures haha.
Levi: SAME! They used to be so good in acting as Ruri chan. They could even mimic Ruri Chan's voice! Online role-playing is an art of story telling, don't let anyone convince you otherwise!
MC: Oh wow, my friend used to say the exact same things hahaha and roleplaying as Ruri chan was also so fun. I did it too sometimes! Now then is the game loaded yet?
Levi: Yes! It's done! Now we just have to log in with our old accounts and-
*MC phone starts to ring. It's Satan calling.*
MC: *picks up* Yes Satan?
Satan: Sorry to bother you MC, but did you finish reading the last book I gave you? Another friend wants to borrow it.
MC: Ah yes yes. Do you want me to go fetch it for you?
Satan: Ah no no it's okay. I'll take myself. Its on the nightstand as usual right?
MC: Ah yes yes. Is there anything else?
Satan: No just this. Enjoy your playtime with Levi and come to the library if you're done. There's another a new book I want you to have.
MC: Oh okay then. See you soon byee!!
Levi: Go on MC, your turn to log in. As you can see they really upgraded the graphics and-
MC: OH MY GOD THAT'S HIM!
Levi: Who's him?
MC: That avatar right here! That's the friend I was telling you about!
Levi: N-no way are you sure-
MC: YES LEVI IM SURE! Look at that sword! See it's hilt? See how the hilt looks like Ruri Chan's cap? He and I designed that together! And then he hacked the game and added it as one of the weapon options in the game.
Levi: .....
MC: It's true! Noone else in the whole game has that sword except him and me! See I'll show you mine! *logs in* Look I have the same sword!
Levi: I-I see...
MC: Ah I have to talk to him. There's a voice chat right?!
Levi: Yes...
MC: *in a Ruri chan voice* Hello hello! Is that Admiral V, I see? Oh it's been so long since I've seen you, dearie me! I missed you! *hugs character*
Levi: *blushes furiously and stares at the screen, his leg shaking in excitement*
MC: ...he isn't replying. Maybe he forgot me after all. *Sad smile* Where's your avatar Levi? Say hi to me I'll come to you.
*Admiral V hugs you and says hi*
MC: Yay he said hi! Levi where- wait. Is that YOU?
Levi: *blushing mess* T-this is Admiral V reporting his partner in mission. RuriRuri do you have anything to say for your five year absence?
MC: ....IT IS YOU! OH LEVI! I MISSED YOU!
*Pounces and hugs Levi*
Levi: I missed you too MC! I can't believe it... It was you doing the Ruri chan voice... all along*Blushes again*
MC: No wonder I always had so much fun playing with you! Now let's go and fight some dungeon trolls! *Ruri voice* Onward we go Admiral V!
Levi: ...Yes, of course, RuriRuri.
MC: Wait...Levi! Your nose is bleeding!

Manhunt
Word Count: 1,311
Warnings: None
This is a SFW tickle fic, if you don’t like that then don’t read :)
"C'MERE SAPNAP!"
"LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Sapnap gave a yell of terror, only running faster to get ahead of the hoodie wearing mastermind chasing him.
"GEORGE! BAD! WHERE ARE YOU GUYS!?" Sapnap practically screamed.
"We're close! Don't die Sapnap! You have all our items!" George yelled back.
"I'M TRYING! WAIT DREAM! NO! IM ON HALF A HEART! HALF A HEART!"
Dream laughed manically, swinging his sword at Sapnap. "C'MERE!" He crowed loudly, eyes gleaming.
"NO! NOOOOOOOO!" Sapnap screamed when his character died, items thrown from his fallen avatar.
Dream cackled taking out his flint and steel and burning it all.
"No! Dream!" Bad yells in outrage almost drowned out by George yelling at Sapnap.
Sapnap tugged his headphones off angrily, gripping his hair. Damn Dream and his 1000 iq. He'd set a trap for the hunters leaving only him alive with the lunatic.
He could hear Dream's laughter through his headphones as well as his fellow hunters arguing with each other.
"Too easy!" Dream clapped his hands as he chuckled. "Too goddamn easy."
Sapnap glared at his floor. Dream was literally downstairs . An idea started to form in his head. He put his headphones back on.
"Guys, I have a plan" he said.
"Ooo you sound confident" Dream's voice had a teasing lilt in it.
"I am, cause I know it's gonna work" Sapnap replied smoothly. "Okay guys, don't worry about armor, just get some weapons and follow Dream. Be ready to attack him when I say so."
"No armour?" George repeated. "Are you trying to get us killed?"
"Nope, I'm trying to get us a win, just trust me, alright?"
After a confirmation from his hunters Sapnap stood from his chair.
"Sapnap you've sent them on a suicide mission" Dream snickered, "you've just set them up to die, what kind of plan is this?"
"You'll see Dreamie" Sapnap said, "guys, gonna go silent for a bit, just follow the plan."
He slipped off his headphones and crossed his room to the door. His steps were silent as he made his way downstairs to Dream's room. He could hear the older boy laughing and commentating through the door. He gripped the handle and carefully opened the door, grateful it didn't squeak and alert Dream of his presence.
Dream was laser focused on gathering materials, chipping into conversation between George and Bad. Sapnap snuck up behind his chair, a grin spreading across his face.
"-and besides George, Sapnap said to not get armour, stop messing up his plan!" Dream was saying.
Sapnap could just hear George's response through the headphones. "I'm not fighting you without it!"
"Aw come on Georgie, don't you trust him?"
"I do, I just don't trust you."
Sapnap glanced at Dream's screen to see George and Bad following Dream at a distance. Good.
"George, Bad get him now!" Sapnap ordered.
Dream flinched violently at Sapnap's voice, his head snapping round to stare at him. Sapnap dug his hands into Dream's sides before he could react further, making the boy gasp and break into laughter.
"Whahahat the hehehell Sapnahahahap?!" He cried, trying to get the younger's hands off of him.
"Get him boys! Get him!" Sapnap yelled over Dream's laughter.
"Sapnap what are you doing to him?" George asked as he and Bad's avatars ran towards Dream.
"Incapacitating him" Sapnap answered with a chuckle. "Turns out Dream here is very ticklish."
Dream was twisting in his chair, trying to find an escape route from Sapnap's fingers. His headphones slipped off his ears onto his shoulders. "Stohohop it! Sapnap thihihis is cheheheheating!"
"There's no rules about tickling Dream!" Sapnap shot back, moving up to scratch at his upper ribs.
Dream wheezed, squirming with new desperation. "Sahahahap- nohohohoho!" He curled in on himself, trying to protect himself.
"Aw, bad spot?" Sapnap teased.
Dream heard the familiar sound of being struck through his headphones and looked up to see George and Bad attacking his avatar.
"No! No no no! Guhuhuhuys stohohohop! Thihihihis ihihis unfahahahair!" He yelled.
"All is fair in love and manhunts Dream!" Bad laughed.
Dream grabbed his mouse, attacking the hunters making them scream and bolt.
"Sapnap! Tickle him again! Hurry! He's doing so much damage!" George cried.
Sapnap stuck his hands in Dreams exposed underarms, causing him shriek and slam his arms down. "Sahahapnahahap! Gehehet ohohout of thehehere!"
"You've trapped my hands Dream" Sapnap replied with a grin. "You want me to stop, you need to let my hands out."
"You'll just go somewhere else!" Dream yelled, squirming, his face getting pinker by the second.
"Try his stomach Sapnap!" George called through the headphones making Dream squeak.
"Fuhuhuck ohohoff Geohohohorge!" Dream growled but the giggles lacing his words didn't make it very threatening.
"Bad place if I remember correctly, eh Dream?" Sapnap smiled devilishly.
"You done this before Sapnap?" Bad laughed.
"Oh yeah, favourite past time by now."
"SHUHUT UHUHUP!" Dream yelled, trying to slide to the floor.
"Get back here Dream!" Sapnap got his hands out from Dream's underarms and scuttled his fingers all over Dream's stomach.
Dream's eyes widened, his whole body convulsing like he'd been electrocuted. "FUHUHUHUCK!"
"Language Dream!"
Sapnap heard Bad's yell through the headphones and chuckled. "Yeah Dream, language, you're upsetting Bad."
Dream shook his head, wheezes lacing his flustered giggles. The hitting sounds returned much to Dream's horror.
"No! Sahahapnahahap stohohohop! Plehehease!" Dream squealed, looking up at his computer to see his hearts decreasing.
He tried to sit up but Sapnap scratched his fingers close to his belly button and he crashed back down in new hysterics.
"Awww, this is really cute Dream, you can't even fight back" Sapnap grinned, laughing a little when he saw Dream's blush deepen.
"SHUHUT UHUHUP!"
"Damn Dream, I had no idea you were this ticklish" George snickered. "Sapnap and I are gonna gang up on you all the time when I move in."
"Oh hell yes" Sapnap grinned, leaning in close to Dream's ear. "Doesn't that sound like fun Dreamlee?"
Dream gave a whine through his laughter, covering his red face in his hands. "Yohohou're thehehehe wohohohorst."
"Bitch please, I'm the best" Sapnap retorted.
"Oi! Language!"
"Sorry Bad."
"How many hearts is he on?!" George asked, furiously attacking Dream.
"Two and a half! Come on guys, take him out!" Sapnap encouraged.
"NOHOHOHO! I REFUSE TO DIE LIKE THIS!"
Dream seemed to gain strength through the idea of losing. He reached behind him and tazed Sapnap's side making him yelp and flinch back. Dream grabbed his desk and yanked himself forward, grabbing his mouse and swinging his sword.
His character struck the two hunters, severely cutting their heart numbers down.
George did his signature, high pitched scream of terror, while Bad's voice did the opposite and dropped.
"DIE!" Dream shouted, taking them out with only a few hits.
A bang on a desk was followed by George's yell of "NO! WE WERE SO CLOSE!"
"DANG IT DREAM!" Bad cried, equally upset by the sudden turn of events.
Dream was fast to eat some bread, his hearts rising again much to his relief. He breathed heavily, leaning back in his chair to regain his composure. His face was still warm, his giggles still swirling his his chest, slipping out every so often. He then remembered who else was in the room with him. His chair turned slowly.
"Sapnap."
Sapnap had been backing up to the door. His eyes widened at Dream's low, dark tone.
"Uhhh" he nervously smiled. "D-Dream hey we're friends-"
"Oh yes, yes we are" Dream rose from his chair. "And we're also roommates, ya know what that means Sapnap?"
"Um..."
An evil smile pulled at Dream's lips. "It means you don't have anywhere to hide, we live in the same house."
Sapnap stared.
Dream cracked his knuckles. "Run."
Sapnap screamed, bolting out the door with a manically laughing Dream right behind.
"C'MERE SAPNAP!"
"LEAVE ME ALONE!"
"C'MERE!"

playing with fire pt. 1 [sokka]
Tumblr media
Pairing: Sokka x reader
Summary: You’re a Fire Nation citizen who saves Sokka and Katara from some angry villagers. Aang "convinces” you to come along with them, finding your knowledge of the nation useful. Not everything is smooth sailing though as both Water Tribe siblings have their doubts about you.
this will be a series :D this takes place when they’re at the northern water tribe
prologue
.masterlist.
~
The air around you was cool, a lot cooler than you were used to. Shivering, you curled up into a ball, grasping at the thick blankets that covered you.
“I see you’re awake.”
Your eyes shot open at the unfamiliar voice and you immediately began to sit up.
“Careful, you took quite a nasty hit,” the person spoke again. “Our healers did all they could but you’re going to be a bit sore for a while.”
Bright blue eyes burned into yours as you winced and sat up slowly. You turned to face the unknown man, a wary look on your face as you addressed him.
“Who are you? Where am I?”
“I am Chief Arnook of the Northern Water Tribe,” the man said, his eyes never leaving you. Almost immediately, you got off the bed and kneeled, bowing your head in respect.
“It is an honor to be in your presence,” you said, head still bowed. “Thank you for opening your home to us.”
The man stood but stayed silent, causing you to look up at him. “I know who you are and I know that you ran away from the Fire Nation. I don’t know why you are here but the Avatar told us how you saved his life and the life of our sister Tribe’s members so out of respect for him I will not do anything to you. There’s some Water Tribe clothes laid out for you. The people here do not take kindly to the Fire Nation.”
“Chief Arnook,” you said as the man headed for the door. He paused. “I hope you know how much I appreciate you taking me in. I hope you know that I am here to help the Avatar, not cause trouble for you. There’s a reason I fled the Fire Nation.”
The Water Tribe chief gave you a tight nod before exiting. You moved around the room slowly, changing into the warm clothes as fast as you could before exiting the room yourself. Almost immediately, you were knocked down.
“I’m sorry!” a soft voice exclaimed. You found yourself staring at an extended hand before you shook your head slightly, taking it and lifting yourself up.
“it’s alright,” you said, brushing yourself off. “I should’ve been paying more attention to my surroundings.”
Your eyes widened as you looked at the girl in front of you. She was pretty; tan skin and bright blue eyes accompanied by a soft smile. The feature that stood out the most however, was her white hair, which was styled elaborately.
“No, it was entirely my fault,” the girl replied, the smile still on her face. “You’re the Avatar’s friend, yes? I am Princess Yue.”
You bowed deeply, causing Yue to squeak and pull you up. “That isn’t necessary. Come with me, I’ll help you find your friends.”
You walked with Yue, introducing yourself as you went outside. The two of you continued on with your quiet conversation until you felt someone crash into you, again.
“(Y/N)!”
A pained whimper left your mouth as Aang hugged you tightly. You slowly wrapped your arms around the younger boy, smiling down at him as he grinned up at you. “You’re okay!”
Sokka and Katara came running up behind him, both of them panting lightly as they came to a stop. Sokka glanced at Yue, blushing brightly before averting his gaze only to do a double take when he saw you wearing Water Tribe blue. Standing next to Yue, you almost looked like royalty, were it not for your distinctive Fire Nation features.
“Aang, let go of her,” Katara said sharply, giving you a harsh glare. “Remember she’s F-”
She cut herself off when she glanced at Yue, knowing that she couldn’t risk revealing your identity. Not here. “She’s injured.”
Aang smiled sheepishly and let you go. “Right. I’m sorry.”
“It’s fine,” you mumbled, looking around at the city. “How long have I been out?”
“Only a few days!”
“A few days?” you squawked, eyes widening at his words. Aang nodded and grabbed your wrist, leading you away from the three Water Tribe teens as he told you about everything you had missed.
“...and then we got caught and Katara had to apologize to Master Pakku but she dueled him instead and now he’s teaching both of us!” Aang finished. Your eyes widened at his story.
“Hey Aang,” you began, wringing your hands nervously. “Thanks for rescuing me back in the colony. You didn’t have to.”
“Of course we had to! You saved our lives!” Aang said, staring at you in disbelief. “We couldn’t just leave you there to be captured.”
“Yes, we could’ve,” Katara interrupted. “Aang made us go back for you but don’t think for one second that any of us trust you. I’m keeping an eye on you.”
You nodded silently as Katara stomped off before turning to Aang once again. “So how did you convince Chief Arnook to not put me in jail as soon as we arrived?”
“I just told him the truth,” Aang replied. “I told him how you had helped Sokka and Katara and how you had risked your life for us. He seemed a little wary at first because he said he recognized you but I managed to convince him that I was telling the truth. Katara and Sokka also told him what happened so that helped. Now come on, I want to show you around!”
Aang bounced away, you trailing behind him until you felt someone begin to walk next to you. You glanced next to you to see Sokka staring at you.
“Where’s Princess Yue?” you asked, not seeing the girl anywhere near you.
“She had some duties to attend to,” Sokka replied. “Who are you?”
“W-What?”
“Chief Arnook said he recognized you. Why?” Sokka asked, his stare burning into you.
You sighed softly before coming to a stop, Sokka doing the same. You avoided the boy’s eyes, shifting uncomfortably. “Look, I used to be the daughter of a really well known Fire Nation general.”
“Used to be?” Sokka asked. You nodded.
“He did...unspeakable things in the name of the Fire Nation,” you explained, hoping that the Water Tribe boy would believe the words you were saying. “He was ruthless, harsh. He trained me to fight, to conquer, he said. He wanted me to take his place when I grew old enough. When I turned fourteen, I ran from home. I couldn’t bring myself to do the Fire Nation’s dirty work.”
Sokka’s gaze didn’t change as he took in your words. He studied you closely, noticing your downcast expression and the pained look in your eye. You weren’t telling the whole truth, but he could also tell that you weren’t lying. He was about to say something when Aang came running up to them
“(Y/N), what’s taking you so long? Hurry up!” this time, Aang pulled you along with him, leaving Sokka to look after the two of you as you hurried off.
~
A few hours you found yourself walking by the river with Aang, Momo flying lazily around the two of you. He had finally introduced you to Appa, and you had spent a good amount of time playing with the sky bison in order to thank him for helping Aang save your life. The sky bison took quite a liking to you and you found yourself damp with bison saliva long after you had left him alone. Aang had smiled widely the whole time, knowing that if Appa liked you, then he had no reason not to trust you.
Another great thing that came out of meeting Appa was finding out that your sword had been safely hidden in his saddle. You immediately fastened the weapon around your waist after looking it over, making sure that it hadn’t been damaged. Your sword was the only thing that you had kept from your life in the Fire Nation. It was one that you had crafted yourself after years of mastering the way of the sword.
“So Aang,” you began. “How has waterbending been?”
“Pretty good. Katara is doing great!”
You noticed the faint blush on the Air Nomad’s cheeks and smiled, ready to tease the boy. The remark died on your tongue however, when the snow falling around you turned dark.
“What’s going on?” Aang asked as Momo spit out the snowflakes he had caught on his tongue. This time it was you who grabbed his wrist and pulled him along as you sprinted to the palace.
“It’s the Fire Nation!”
You made it to the palace in record time and burst through the doors, throwing yourself at Arnook’s feet.
“Chief Arnook,” you began, voice trembling slightly as Aang watched the scene unfold. “I promise you that it was not I who led the Fire Nation here.”
“It wasn’t!” Aang cried out. “She’s been with me the whole day.”
Arnook stared at you for several seconds before speaking. “I trust the Avatar and so I believe you (Y/N). However, I’m afraid I cannot have you running around during the invasion. You are to stay by my side the whole time, just as a precaution.”
You nodded quietly. It seemed fair; he wasn’t blaming you but he wasn’t fully trusting you and honestly, you couldn’t ask for much more. Within a few minutes, the palace’s hall was filled with all the citizens of the Northern Water Tribe. You were sitting in the front row as Arnook gave his speech, feeling the burn of Katara’s glare the whole time.
“Now, as we approach the battle for our existence, I call upon the great spirits,” Arnook said, his speech coming to an end. “Spirit of the Ocean! Spirit of the Moon! Be with us! I'm going to need volunteers for a dangerous mission.”
Sokka was the first one up, drawing panicked glances from you, Aang, and Katara. “Count me in.”
The glare Katara was sending you softened, and the two of you found yourselves looking at each other with concern.
“Sokka,” Katara whispered, placing her hand on his shoulder. He brushed her off and stood up, making his way towards Arnook. You sent Katara and Aang a nod before standing and joining Sokka in line.
“What are you doing?” Sokka hissed, making sure to keep his voice low.
“Paying my dues,” you whispered in reply, nudging him when you realized it was his turn. He turned and walked up to Arnook, who marked him with three red line marks before turning to you. He marked you as well, giving you a deep nod before you stepped out of line and took your place next to him. You didn’t miss the disbelieving looks from Sokka or Katara.
~
“Men, you'll be infiltrating the Fire Nation Navy,” Chief Arnook spoke, standing in front of all the volunteers. “That means you'll all need one of these uniforms.”
A handsome boy walked forwards, wearing an old Fire Nation uniform. Almost immediately, Sokka burst out laughing as you dissolved into giggles.
“What’s your problem?” the boy asked angrily, stepping towards Sokka.
"Fire Navy uniforms don’t look like that,” Sokka retorted, his face bright red from trying to hold back his laughter.
“Of course they do,” the boy said irritably. “These are real uniforms captured from actual Fire Navy soldiers.”
“When? Like a hundred years ago?” Sokka asked mockingly.
“Eighty five, actually,” you stated, stepping in between the two boys. You put a hand on the unknown boy’s chest as he lunged forwards slightly, pushing him away from Sokka. Chief Arnook stared at you quietly, motioning for you to keep talking. You faced the boy, staring at the pointed shoulders on the uniform before placing your hands on them and brushing them off. “The Fire Nation doesn't wear shoulder spikes anymore.”
“Yeah. The newer uniforms are more streamlined,” Sokka added from behind you. The boy stared at you for a second too long, causing you to flush underneath his gaze. He had the trademark blue eyes of the Water Tribe and a strong jawline, his handsome face being framed by strands of hair that weren’t pulled up in his half-ponytail. A smirk appeared on his face as he took in the color of your cheeks.
“How do we know we can trust this guy?" the boy asked, looking away from you and glaring at Sokka. “Such bold talk for a new recruit.”
Your blush immediately faded at his words, and you resisted the urge to scoff at his condescending attitude.
“Sokka is from our sister tribe, Hahn,” Arnook replied, looking at the boy. “He's a capable warrior and I value his input. Now, our first objective is to determine the identity of their commanding officer.”
“His name is Zhao,” Sokka said smugly.
“Zhao?” you asked, eyes wide. Sokka nodded, looking at you curiously.
“What about him?” Arnook asked you, looking slightly concerned. “You know him?”
“He’s middle-aged,” you replied as you nodded. “Has big sideburns, but an even bigger temper. He’s not exactly the nicest person to be around; there’s a reason he rose through the ranks so quickly.”
Sokka gaped at you, wondering how you knew that information. He thought back to your earlier words, wondering if the father you had been talking about was Zhao. He definitely fit the description; ruthless and harsh and willing to do anything for the Fire Nation.
Arnook looked at you for a few minutes, deciding whether or not he could truly trust you. He looked at you as you panicked slightly, afraid now that the Fire Nation was here. The Avatar had vouched for you and you had been nothing but respectful since your arrival. He sighed deeply as he came to a decision.
“Alright. (Y/N), I want you to stay here with Sokka, I want the two of you to tell Hahn everything you know. He's leading this mission. Hahn, show them your respect and keep an eye on (Y/N),” Arnook began to walk away, wanting to check on the city. “I expect nothing less from my future son-in-law.”
“I won’t let you down, Chief Arnook,” you whispered as he passed you. He looked down at you and gave you an unreadable look.
“I hope not.”
It was silent after Arnook left, a slight awkwardness settling upon the room.
“Princess Yue’s marrying you?” Sokka finally asked, pointing at Hahn.
Shooting you a glance, Hahn answered. “It’s an arranged marriage. What of it?”
“Nothing, congratulations,” Sokka muttered, causing you to give him a sympathetic look. You remembered the way he had blushed in the princess’s presence.
“C’mon boys,” you spoke, bringing their attention to you. “We have a mission to plan.”
~
“So, Zhao is ruthless,” Sokka’s voice was loud and clear as he tried to speak to Hahn. “He’s smart and patient, so he probably won’t attack at night because of the moon...”
Across from him, Hahn wasn’t paying attention to anything he was saying. His gaze was focused on you as he slid closer to you, brushing up against you as he reached for a map. You shivered uncomfortably before glancing up at him, a smirk present on his face.
“Are you even listening to me?” Sokka asked exasperatedly, throwing his hands up in the air.
“Why did Arnook tell me to keep an eye on you?” Hahn asked, ignoring Sokka. “Not that I’m complaining.”
Sokka’s eye twitched irritably before he noticed the uncomfortable expression on your face. You glanced at him briefly and he tilted his head, motioning for you to come to his side. Your expression morphed into a relieved one and you swiftly ducked away from Hahn.
“It’s because I’m Fire Nation,” you admitted, hoping that the statement would get Hahn to stop talking to you.
Hahn’s eyes widened before his usual smirk reappeared on his face. “Ah, that explains it.”
“Explains what?” Sokka asked.
“It explains why she’s so hot.”
Both yours and Sokka’s expression changed into angry ones. You stepped forwards, a hand on your sword as you prepared to yell at the boy before Sokka beat you to it.
“Leave her alone!” Sokka exclaimed, approaching the boy. “Aren’t you engaged to Yue?”
“Yue’s nice and all, but the real treat are the points I gain with the Chief,” Hahn replied casually. You frowned at his words, remembering your brief interaction with the princess.
“Princess Yue is wasted on a self-absorbed weasel like you!” Sokka yelled angrily.
“Whoa, hang on. What do you care? You're just a simple rube from the Southern Tribe. What would you know of the political complexities of our life?” Hahn said sharply, his voice mocking. “No offense.”
“Leave him alone!” you replied, repeating Sokka’s earlier words. You began to walk over to the boy angrily, stopping when Chief Arnook silently walked into the room. The two boys were facing you, remaining oblivious to the presence of the Chief.
“Why are you defending him?” Hahn scoffed, looking at Sokka with disdain. “You would have a much better time with me.”
Arnook’s eyes widened at Hahn’s words, his jaw dropping when Sokka tackled the boy. You rushed over to the two boys, trying to pry Sokka away from Hahn.
“You're just a jerk without a soul,” Sokka quipped, pulling Hahn’s hair. “No offense!“
“That’s enough!” Arnook hollered, pulling the two boys apart. “Sokka you’re off the mission. Hahn, we will speak later.”
Hahn flushed as he exited the room, closely following Arnook. You stood in silence for a few seconds before facing Sokka, looking him over for any visible injuries.
“Are you okay, Sokka?” you asked, placing your hand on his arm.
“I don’t need your help!” he yelled, pulling his arm away from you and causing you to flinch. His face dropped at your reaction and he opened his mouth to apologize only to be cut off when Arnook walked back in.
~
The ride back to the palace was silent.
Sokka was lounging on Appa’s saddle as you sat behind the reins, watching you as you fawned over the sky bison. After Arnook had returned, he had tasked Sokka with taking care of Yue and you had been sent along with him. Sokka had tried to apologize but you had ignored the boy, taking the reins in order to avoid being near him.
“(Y/N),” Sokka suddenly said, his tone urgent as he leaned over the saddle. You didn’t answer, but you did turn your head to acknowledge him. “Bring Appa down, I think that’s Yue!”
Your eyes widened as you caught a glimpse of white hair and you immediately guided Appa down, hopping off of the sky bison as you reached Yue. Sokka copied your actions, frowning as he noticed the distraught look on Yue’s face.
“(Y/N)!” Yue cried, throwing herself into your arms. You didn’t miss the sour look from Sokka as you wrapped your arms around the girl.
“Yue, what happened?” Sokka asked, still glaring at you.
“W-We were in the Spirit Oasis,” Yue began speaking. “Aang had just entered the Spirit World when a boy showed up!”
Sokka stiffened and you sent him a questioning look.
“He fought Katara and I ran,” Yue continued, looking ashamed. “He was a firebender and he had a large scar on the left side of his face.”
“Z-Zuko,” you gasped, saying his name along with Sokka. Sokka gaped at you for a few seconds.
“How do you know his name?”
“This isn’t the time!” you said, already rushing Yue towards Appa. Sokka frowned for a few seconds before he realized you were right. He could interrogate you later. He joined Yue in the saddle as you once again took the reins, making Appa fly in the direction Yue was guiding you.
You reached the Spirit Oasis within a matter of minutes, the three of you hopping off of Appa just as Katara was gaining consciousness. Momo chittered sadly as he came up to you, leaping up and landing on your head.
“What happened?” Sokka asked, helping his sister up. “Where’s Zuko?”
“He took Aang,” Katara said miserably. “He took him right out from under me. I can’t believe I lost him.”
"You did everything you could, and now we need to do everything we can to get him back,” Sokka said, hugging Katara. “Zuko can't have gotten far. We'll find him. Aang's gonna be fine.”
Katara and Sokka whirled around when you whistled sharply. You were back on top of Appa, Yue at your side. “Well are you coming or not? We have an Avatar to find.”
Exchanging surprised glances, Sokka and Katara sprinted towards Appa. You paused for a second, glancing up at Momo before speaking. “You stay here, Momo, in case Aang comes back.”
The winged lemur let out a soft sound and flew down to the koi pond.
“Yip yip, Appa.”
~
Appa had been flying for a while, his speed a little slower than usual due to the blizzard.
“Don’t worry,” Yue finally said, noticing the worried looks on everyone’s faces. “Prince Zuko can't be getting too far in this weather.”
“I'm not worried they'll get away in the blizzard,” Katara said softly. “I'm worried that they won't.”
“They're not going to die in this blizzard. If we know anything, it's that Zuko never gives up,” Sokka stated, causing you to snort at his words. “They'll survive, and we'll find them.”
All of a sudden, a bright flash of light whizzed by.
“That’s gotta be Aang!” Katara said. You immediately had Appa follow the light. You landed soon enough, seeing Aang trying to crawl away from Zuko even though he was bound. You took a deep breath as your eyes landed on the banished Fire Nation prince, lowering yourself down on Appa to try and hide yourself from view. You struggled to stifle your laughter when you noticed his ponytail.
“Here for a rematch?” Zuko asked as Katara slid off of Appa.
“Trust me Zuko,” Katara snapped. “It's not going to be much of a match.”
Katara waterbended Zuko into the air before letting him fall, knocking him unconscious. You winced slightly before noticing that Sokka and Aang had climbed back on Appa.
“Wait, we can’t just leave him here!” Aang exclaimed, looking at Zuko’s body.
“Sure we can,” Sokka drawled before nudging you. “Let’s go.”
“Aang’s right,” you said, smiling at the Air Nomad. “If we leave him here, he’ll die.”
“You just want to bring him because he’s Fire Nation trash just like you,” Katara hissed as she glared at you. A hurt expression made its way onto your face at her words, even though deep down you understood her hatred. Without another word, Aang airbended himself and Zuko onto Appa.
The flight back was silent until Yue gasped in pain and grabbed her head.
“Are you okay?” Sokka asked, grabbing her arm gently.
“I feel faint,” the princess replied.
“I feel it too,” Aang groaned. “The moon spirit is in trouble.”
“I owe the moon spirit my life,” Yue said quietly.
“What do you mean?” you asked curiously. Yue looked up at the sky before explaining how she had been born sick. Chief Arnook did all he could to protect his only daughter, eventually calling upon the moon spirit to save her. It was the reason why she had white hair. It was the reason her name was Yue.
Aang, Katara, and Sokka all jumped off of Appa when they reached the Spirit Oasis, seeing Zhao trying to fight Momo. The three of them readied themselves to fight, Momo flying over to Aang and perching on his shoulder. You watched the scene unfold with Yue, keeping an eye on Zuko to make sure he didn’t wake up.
“Don’t bother!” Zhao roared, lifting up a sack that held the moon spirit.
“Zhao, don’t!” Aang exclaimed, a fearful look on his face.
“It's my destiny,” Zhao cried. “To destroy the moon and the Water Tribe.”
“Destroying the moon won't hurt just the Water Tribe,” Aang said desperately. “It will hurt everyone, including you. Without the moon, everything would fall out of balance. You have no idea what kind of chaos that would unleash on the world.”
You whimpered softly as you felt fire land between your shoulder blades, causing Yue to gasp. You moved in front of the princess, ready to protect her no matter what. Your hand fiddled with your sword as you faced your opponent, eyes widening when you met gold irises.
“Y-You,” Zuko stuttered, staring at you. “(Y/N), what are you doing here?”
“Helping the Avatar,” you replied. Zuko’s gaze hardened before he lunged at you, sending the two of you toppling over Appa’s saddle. Your breath was knocked out of you as you hit the ground, the snow digging into your burn as you felt Zuko land on top of you. “Get off of me! Spirits, you’re heavy.”
Zuko shot a fire blast at you and you easily dodged it, unsheathing your sword and running at him. The two of you fought for a minute or two, neither one of you putting in the maximum effort. The fight came to a stop however, when you heard Iroh’s voice.
“He is right, Zhao,” the once general said strongly, drawing your attention. Zuko took that opportunity to shove you to the ground before sprinting, easily making his way out of the Spirit Oasis unnoticed.
“Are you alright?” Yue asked, peering over the edge of the saddle.
“Just peachy,” you grumbled, rolling your shoulders and knowing that there would be a large bruise on your back to accompany the burn. You helped Yue down onto the ground, the two of you finally joining the group.
“General Iroh, why am I not surprised to discover your treachery?” Zhao spat, staring at Iroh with hatred.
“I'm no traitor, Zhao, the Fire Nation needs the moon, too; we all depend on the balance. Whatever you do to that spirit I'll unleash on you ten-fold. Let it go, now!”
Zhao hesitated for a second before turning and preparing to walk away. Panic seized you and you rushed forwards, dodging Sokka’s pathetic attempt to grab onto you.
“Zhao!” your sharp cry made the admiral stop, the oasis going silent as he turned around to face you with a fierce smile on his face. You didn’t miss the shocked look that Iroh sent your way, finally noticing your presence. “I command you to let that spirit go!”
“Uh (Y/N)?” Aang whispered, stepping up next to you. “What are you doing?”
“You heard the girl, Zhao,” Iroh stated firmly, still staring at you. “You know that you cannot refuse an order from her.”
Zhao’s face twisted into a snarl before bending down and letting the koi fish fall back into the pond. You all collectively let out a sigh of relief, Sokka and Katara sending you a shocked glance as Zhao listened to you. The relief was short lived however, as Zhao suddenly struck the fish with fire, killing it.
The moon disappeared from the sky, casting the world in a dull grey hue. Iroh immediately jumped into battle, easily taking down Zhao’s guards. During the chaos however, Zhao had escaped, leaving you all alone with Tui and La. You all crept closer to the pond, Iroh bending down and gently picking up the dead fish.
“There is no hope now,” Yue said sadly. “It’s over.”
“No, it’s not over,” Aang stated, entering the Avatar State. You all watched in awe as he entered the pond, La circling him as their energies merged. Within seconds, a huge amphibious-like creature stood in the Spirit Oasis, Aang in the center of it. He took off, ready to help the Northern Water Tribe defend their home.
“It’s too late,” you muttered, being the first one to draw the attention away from Aang. “It’s dead.”
“(Y/N),” Iroh whispered, trying to figure out what to say to you.
“It wouldn’t be if your nation hadn’t attacked,” Katara snapped, interrupting Iroh’s words. You bowed your head in shame as Yue stepped up to you.
“Fire Nation or not, (Y/N) had been nothing but helpful to our tribe during this time,” Yue snapped back. Giving Katara a burning glare.
“You have been touched by the moon spirit,” Iroh said suddenly, staring at Yue. “Some of its life is in you.”
“Yes, you're right. It gave me life, maybe I can give it back.”
“No!” you and Sokka screamed together. You gave each other an understanding gaze before you turned to face Iroh. “Iroh no, what are you saying?”
“You don’t have to do it,” Sokka added, giving Yue a pleading gaze.
“It is my duty,” Yue replied, glancing at you before smiling softly at Sokka.
“I won't let you!” Sokka cried, grabbing her hand. “Your father told me to protect you.”
“I have to do this.”
Everyone stepped aside as Yue approached Iroh and placed her hand on the koi fish. The fish began to glow and her eyes began to shut as she gave it life again. She slumped over a few seconds later, Sokka rushing forward to catch her. You watched silently as he checked her pulse, tears falling when he shook his head.
“No!” Sokka cried. Holding the princess close. “She’s gone!”
Iroh placed the fish back into the pond and stepped back as it swam around. Yue’s body began to fade from Sokka’s arms, causing the entire oasis to fill with an ethereal glow. An image of Yue formed in front of you, the princess smiling at you as you tried to stop your tears.
“Goodbye (Y/N),” Yue said, smiling widely. “Thank you for helping us, even when you were meant to be our sworn enemy. Remember, only we can decide our own destiny. Your past does not determine your future and don’t let others bring you down just because of where you come from.”
Katara looked down im embarrassment at Yue’s words. You sniffled as Yue approached you and wrapped you up in a hug. “Goodbye Yue.”
She approached Sokka next, gently cupping his cheek as she smiled at him. “Goodbye Sokka. I’ll always be with you. Don’t be afraid of change and don’t be afraid to love. Your time will come sooner than you expect.”
The two of them shared a kiss, causing you to look away out of respect for their privacy. Yue faded as she floated up into the sky, the moon reappearing when she finally disappeared. When you looked back at the pond, Iroh was gone. You assumed it was for the best; you had a feeling this wouldn’t be the last time you ran into him, or Zuko.
A while later, you found yourself overlooking the Water Tribe with Arnook and Sokka. Your eyes were still puffy, shame heavy in your heart as you realized your nation had done this.
“The spirits gave me a vision when Yue was born,” Arnook said, sighing heavily. “I saw a beautiful, brave, young woman become the Moon Spirit. I knew this day would come.”
“You must be proud,” Sokka said, his heart also aching.
“So proud. And sad,” Arnook said before turning to you. “Thank you, (Y/N). It is safe to say you have earned the trust of our tribe. We owe our lives to you, the Avatar, and your friends.”
You bowed your head deeply and kneeled before looking up at the man. “Thank you so much, Chief Arnook. I am so sorry this happened.”
“I am too,” he said quietly, giving you a bow in return. “But you did the right thing. You have a good heart. The Fire Nation didn’t deserve to have you; fate has other plans for you.”
You and Sokka left a little while later, both of you walking sluggishly as exhaustion took over. You found Aang and Katara easily enough and Sokka wasted no time in walking up to them and wrapping his arm around his sister. You stood awkwardly off to the side, gazing out at the ocean before you felt Sokka wrap his hand around yours and pull you into him. Just this once, his sister could ignore her disdain for you.
The four of you huddled together, Aang coming in to close the group hug as he stood next to you. You whimpered softly when his hand brushed against your back, breaking the peaceful silence as you remembered that Zuko had burnt you.
“(Y/N), you’re injured!” Aang gasped, turning you around and exposing the burn to everyone else.
“Hehe, yeah,” you chuckled weakly, avoiding their glances. “Zuko and I kind of fought and I forgot about it.”
The group rolled their eyes at your words before guiding you to the healers, relishing in the rare calmness that surrounded their group for once.

WIP Wednesday
I wrote this last night and really don’t know where I’m going with it because I wrote another section of this that’s completely different from this first part, but I’m having too much fun so this might become a long oneshot or like a two/three chapter short fic eventually. I signed into my Guild Wars account for the first time in forever to watch the chat and apparently Lion’s Arch isn’t as interesting as it used to be. Not that any of that is really relevant.
This is Zelda and the Champions as internet friends playing a MMORPG video game called Hyrule Warriors.
~
Zelda Harkinian loved Fridays. Not that it was a rare thing to be obsessed with the weekend, but she maybe loved it a little too much. After a week of lesson plans, and cleaning the classrooms, and sneezing students, and emails asking for an extension on a paper that wasn’t even due yet, she relished the escape the weekend provided. Granted, she still had to grade about a hundred tests, but that was a problem for Sunday or even Monday.
Smiling down at her roommate, a kitten she’d raised when she found it in the street all alone, Zelda fed her girl—whom she’d named Duchess because she had every intent of treating her like royalty—and played with her for a bit before throwing down her bag in her room and then grabbed a water and a granola bar before heading to her desk. She flipped her laptop open and booting up Hyrule Warriors, her favorite open world MMORPG.
Her internet sucked, so she grabbed her phone to aimlessly scroll to see if there was any news or updates. But it was pretty dull.
Instead, she thought back to how this whole weekend ritual began.
She’d been in a cavern just off of Death Mountain for about three days killing fire keese, lizalfos, and beamos. As a mage, her AOE skills made short work of the larger groups, hitting them all at once. It was especially useful here because her main specialties were water and light, but she struggled when boss fights came out. The NPCs weren’t great teammates, and she constantly found herself resurrecting far from the boss, only to make a long run with a health penalty that ended with her getting killed again, until her heath penalty was maxed out and she had to restart for any hope of succeeding. As a mage, her light armor made her vulnerable to physical attacks, and this boss was very physical.
Zelda didn’t like interacting with people in this game. It was massively popular, and the chat was always running. Sometimes, she’d just sit at an outpost and watch people talk. Her favorite interactions were often the random ones. She’d begun to look up the acronyms everyone used in chat just to understand them better. WTS= want to sell.
Indigo2421: WTS: Guardian Short Sword 4k rupees
Indigo2421WTS: Guardian Short Sword 4k rupees
Indigo2421WTS: Guardian Short Sword 4k rupees
Britneigh4Horses: WTS My mother. 1 rupee. Will pay postage fee.
But after her days of suffering in the lonely caverns in Death Mountain, she relented.
A quick search had her hands shaking, but she typed quickly so she couldn’t back out after she’d hit enter.
xPrincessZx: LFG Dodongo’s Cavern
Holding her breath, she’d waited in the hopes of a private message being sent to her.
One did.
(PM): ThunderstruckQueen: What missin are doing there?
(PM): ThunderstruckQueen: Mission*
(PM): xPrincessZx: I have to kill the Dodongo boss for the main story
ThunderstruckQueen would like to join your party.
Biting her nails, she’d accepted.
(PM): RockRoast12345: Still need someone?
(PM): xPrincessZx: Yes! That would be great! Thanks!
RockRoast12345 would like to join your party.
That had been how it started: A goron warrior with a Warhammer and some serious defensive moves joined as the tank to take as much damage for the team as he could stand, and a Gerudo Paladin had joined her party. Zelda was jealous of the purchase-only red hairstyle the Gerudo had for her character. She had a sword and shield, but her body flickered with elemental lightening magic. In-game purchase effects.
They’d defeated Dodongo with ease, and had gone on several missions together that day, taking down their storylines with relative ease. But they couldn’t function with the NPC healer who barely functioned at all.
So, ThunderstruckQueen had taken to the map chat and put out a request.
ThunderstruckQueen: I found someone. She’s a Zora Cleric. Level 40
RockRoast12345: Let her in! I want to get this one over with
Rutella Zoran IV would like to join your party.
After that, the four of them realized they worked so well together that they’d formed a guild. The Champions. ThunderstruckQueen paid the guild fee, bought a hall, and began decorating it with merchants, and chests. Zelda still shuddered, wondering what she did to have so many rupees ready to go. Needless to say, she made herself the leader.
Some days, they didn’t play together. Other times, only two of them were on. But on weekends, they all came together.
But it had been a Monday when Zelda played, and she’d been alone. Having already tossed her tissue box across her room in frustration, she debated making a new character with more defense, but she sucked it up and went into the Castle Town map, ready to ask for help. She couldn’t wait until she could get to be a higher level. As it was, she’d only gotten to these level 40 areas as a 32 because of Rutella.
Suddenly, a random Hylian man in green with a fancy sword and shield ran up to her and bowed. Zelda scoffed at her computer screen, unsure if she was supposed to respond.
She didn’t need to.
(PM): WildKnightOut2: Hey Princess
(PM): xPrincessZx: Hello?
(PM): WildKnightOut2: Jst wondering if u have a spare flower crown from yesterday’s festival. Missed it. Will pay
Zelda pulled up her inventory, forgetting she was still wearing her flower crown from the Flower Fest. It must have been what tipped him off. In fact, she had four spares.
(PM): zPrincessZx:  Yeah, I do. Come to the chest and I’ll trade.
(PM): WildKnightOut2: Thx
She’d never done a trade with anyone who wasn’t in her guild, so she’d felt nervous running to grab it.
(PM): WildKnightOut2: How much u want?
(PM): xPrincessZx: Actually, I’ll give it to you free if you’re willing to help me with a quest? Or 10k.
WildKnightOut2 would like to join your party.
She accepted and watched his character appear in the corner of her screen.
WildKnightOut2: That’s a rip off, btw. Crowns are with 15k at least. Don’t undersell
xPrincessZx: Thanks. I didn’t realize. I’m still kind of new.
WildKnightOut2: Howd u get out here then?
xPrincessZx: I had a run from a friend in my guild.
WildKnightOut2: Got room for a warrior in there?
Zelda introduced him to the other Champions when they’d signed back on, and after a few weeks, Zelda had leveled up enough that she didn’t need to constantly rely on a teammate. But still. She liked Wild the best after ThunderstruckQueen.
They’d brought in a Rito Ranger named TheBestYouveNeverMet, which immediately set Wild off.
(PM): WildKnightOut2: should I aggro a group over so he has to fight them for us?
(PM): xPrincessZx: No! Don’t do that! I’ll get sent over to deal with them!
(PM): xPrincessZx: HEY! I SEE YOU ON THE MAP!
(PM): xPrincessZx: WILD GET BACK TO THE GROUP
On the mini-map, she saw a hoard of red coming at them and rolled her eyes before joining TheBest to kill them with area attacks. Rutella stayed back to heal them, but Thunder and Rock both continued on, unfazed.
ThunderstruckQueen: Wild you’re an idiot
But that was then. This was now.
They’d been together for months as a guild, and now, the six of them knew how the others worked.
If Wild or TheBest took off on their own, no one would follow. They’d both been killed numerous times in an attempt to piss the other off. Zelda had learned to stay with Thunder and Rock. Rutella flitted between running back to revive the idiots, or sticking with the smarter members while letting them heal on their own.
(PM): WildKnightOut2: u wound me
Zelda chuckled, but he wasn’t done.
(PM): WildKnightOut2: After all ive done for u
(PM): WildKnightOut2: u leave me to die
(PM): xPrincessZx: Don’t run off next time
It was a Wednesday when she and Wild were playing alone, so they freely used party chat for ease. She’d surpassed his level, and towered as a 93 while he was an 87.
WildKnightOut2: Hang on. Fuzzball wants food
Zelda stared at his character on her screen, wondering if he looked anything like that avatar. Blonde hair, muscular, piercing blue eyes. She’d made her character look like herself, so it wasn’t hard to imagine others had. Plus, he was the only Hylian. She highly doubted that RockRoast12345 was actually a giant rock-man, or that Rutella Zoran IV was a short fish lady.
She knew everything about these people except their names, faces, and voices.
She knew that ThunderstruckQueen was a single mother who called her daughter Ri on chat. She was a chief of police, and had a few hundred of her force to look out for. Still, she wanted to quit soon to join the military reserve forces now that her daughter was getting older. Devoted and loyal, Thunder occasionally snapped when everyone would start fighting with each other, though it was usually directed at TheBest and Wild, the annoyance sometimes extended out to others.
She knew that RockRoast12345 was older than all of them and had a young grandson. He’d bonded with Thunder over their children at first, and then, without meaning to, they became the parents of the group. Recently, Rock had retired from working as a supervisor in a mine, and gaming had become his way of relieving some of that boredom. But he told the best stories when they were idling around, just stories about anything, and they were always captivating. Also, he was afraid of dogs.
She knew that Rutella Zoran IV was the daughter of a politician. She cared for her little brother like he was her own, and sometimes, he took control of her character, proudly revealing that his real name was Sidon. She was in school to be a doctor, and that made her family prouder than anything. She lived and breathed for her family.
TheBestYouveNeverMet was a pilot. His schedule was the most hectic out of everyone’s because of the flights, but he was sarcastic to the core, and sometimes, the sarcasm was simply rude and definitely didn’t translate well over chat. He was superior, and since he’d been playing the game longest, he thought it entitled him to make more decisions. But Zelda knew from her private conversations with him that deep down, he was sweet and caring. He’d always be the first to ask her how her day was, and he’d learned some of her students’ names to ask if they’d been nuisances.
But Zelda spent the most time talking to WildKnightOut2, so she knew the most about him. At first, they’d bonded over the fact that they both had cats. His was called Fuzzball, an orange, fat cat that needed to exercise more. He’d tried to leash him, but Fuzz wasn’t interested. Sometimes, Fuzz would crawl over the keys, send Wild running, and send chat a long stream of letters.
He was funny and made comments in her private chat while they were playing that had her roaring at times.
He was a rock-climbing instructor and in his free time, he was a free solo climber. When she’d looked it up, she’d been horrified to see that he basically climbed mountains without a harness or ropes, and a fall could kill him. She’d asked if he was good at it, or just did it for fun, and his answer had been an ambiguous “yes.”
She knew about his family. He didn’t live near them, but he kept in contact with his grandparents, his father, and his little sister.
WildKnightOut2: k back. Where we going princess?
xPrincessZx: I need to farm for new armor out in the Haunted Wasteland. Do you need to do anything?
WildKnightOut2: I need to help u farm in the haunted wasteland. What do you need?
xPrincessZx: 10 Rubies
WildKnightOut2: damn ok I have 2 u can have so u only need 8
xPrincessZx: Thanks. How’d that party go last night?
WildKnightOut2: Sucked
xPrincessZx: Cool details
WildKnightOut2: If ud been there, ud have hated it
xPrincessZx: Why?
WildKnightOut2: Bunch of self-absorbed idiots. Like TheBest is
xPrincessZx: Lol. He’s not that bad.
WildKnightOut2: if u say so
They headed into the Wasteland looking for red poes that had rare drops for rubies. She and Wild took out a few groups before they started to struggle. Neither could play and talk at the same time fast enough to warn the other that something was happening, and they both ended up at the shrine of resurrection more times than they cared to admit.
xPrincessZx: Hey Wild. This might sound weird, but do you have that gaming app where we could just maybe voice chat?
xPrincessZx: Unless you’re not comfortable with that. We can invite the others, and when we play together, and it would probably make life a thousand times easier
xPrincessZx: But it’s okay if you don’t want to
WildKnightOut2: yeah I have it
Oh, Zelda thought to herself. That was easy.
xPrincessZx: Do you want to add me? I have the same name
She watched her phone like it was food in the microwave, only occasionally glancing at her computer to see if Wild had sent her another message. She drummed her fingers and her leg started to bounce until her screen lit up.
WildKnight has sent you a friend request.
She hastily hit accept and grabbed her headphones from the drawer before typing into her phone.
xPrincessZx: Your name is missing a few things here.
WildKnight: Yeah HW already had someone with this name so I added on
xPrincessZx: The meaning completely changes
WildKnight: which do you like better?
Zelda froze, unable to make her fingers type. Was he flirting? Was that how people flirted online? She was really good at reading body language cues, and that was always how she knew someone was flirting. But this? There was no context! How was she supposed to know?
xPrincessZx: Which fits your personality more?
That was a safe way of getting out of answering while still sounding maybe like she was flirting. Right?
WildKnight: this one
Zelda’s face warmed up and she put her head in her hands, unsure how to respond. How does she respond to that? What if he wasn’t flirting? What if he was.

traitor. (sokka x f!reader) pt 12
part 1 | part 11 | part 13
A/N: Enjoy a fic where Katara is able to express her emotions to someone and not have to keep everything bottled up inside until she explodes in a blinding rage. The next couple parts are gonna be so angsty :) *Also, I never came right out and said this, but I allude to it a lot. Y/N is a tall bitch. That is all.*
Tumblr media
Katara peeked her head in. “Can we talk?”
The sound of her voice didn’t soothe any of Y/N’s fears. “Yeah, sure,” she said shakily.
Y/N sat on her bed roll and left room for Katara to sit across from her. She pulled her knees up and played with her hands. They aren’t your friends. They aren’t your friends, Y/N chanted inside her head. She willed herself to take this well. She always knew this was going to be the ending, that this was going to happen–
“You know how you said I could talk to you?”
Y/N let out a huge breath she had been holding. Maybe this wasn’t a send off, no hey, thanks so much for your help so far, Sokka really appreciates you teaching him to sword fight, but we’re off with the Avatar now!
“What’s wrong?” More importantly, what’s so wrong that you wanted to come to me to talk to? Y/N wanted to say. She settled herself a little more comfortably against the wall. “Is it about your dad?” Y/N guessed.
Katara froze, halfway between pulling her legs into cross them, her face a mask of shame. “Gods, is it so obvious?”
“Oh–um…” Y/N trailed off, not sure of what to say.
“I don’t know why I feel this way,” Katara stuttered out.
“Don’t you think that you should talk to Sokka or Toph?” Y/N wasn’t sure that she was the best person to talk to about father-daughter relationships, seeing as she didn’t have one. They knew her better. Although, that might be the exact reason why she wasn’t going to them.
“No,” Katara waved her hands. “Sokka, he wouldn’t get it. He loves my dad–not that I’m saying I don’t but–ugh,” Katara groaned and dropped her head in her hands. When she looked up again her eyelashes were wet. “Sokka doesn’t get what I’m feeling. I don’t understand what I’m feeling. I really do love Dad and I missed him every single day, but the moment I saw him I just felt this anger towards him. He was gone for so long and I was forced to grow up more than I should have with both my parents not being around. When I needed him the most he left. How–how can I just ignore that? How do you love someone and still be so unhappy with them?”
“Oh,” Y/N realized now what this was all about. Everything always comes back to Azula. Every decision she makes, every conversation she has, Azula still dominated her life.
Y/N didn’t realize she started crying until Katara grabbed her hand. “No, no. I’m sorry! Don’t cry.”
Y/N squeezed Katara’s in a vice grip. “It’s not the same. Your dad, I’ve seen him look at you. He loves you and Sokka, he cares about you so much. He never meant to hurt you by leaving, but you don’t need to ignore it either. I love Azula because I’m weak. You love your dad because you know that no matter what he did, it was for the best even though it hurt.” Y/N wiped at her cheeks. “You need to talk to him. Tell him everything you told me. He’s probably hurting because you’ve shut him out, but he’ll understand.”
“I didn’t mean to make you cry,” Katara sniffled.
Y/N gave Katara’s hand another squeeze, not trusting her voice at the moment. She wished she had the courage to ask what was going to happen to her. It meant so much more now, but they were both teary-eyed and vulnerable; Y/N wasn’t sure she wanted to know the answer.
There were always distractions on the deck while Y/N and Sokka sparred, other warriors stood around eating, talking, watching them; the two of them had gotten used to it and ignored most of the voices, focusing on the task at hand. The difference that morning being that Aang was awake, and Aang didn’t know that she wasn’t their enemy anymore.
“What are you doing?!” Aang’s voice broke through her concentration. A small gust of wind knocked her to one knee. Sokka’s inexperience didn’t give him the ability to pull back when going in for a strike and his sword glanced across her leg.
Y/N didn’t feel it right away, in fact she thought he had missed until she looked down and saw the hole in her pants and the blood seeping through the fabric. It was the first blood they’d draw while sparring, and in the back of Y/N’s mind, she was thankful it was hers and not Sokka’s.
“Oh shit. Oh shit, I am so sorry.” Sokka grasped her wrist and pulled it away so he could look at the wound. “Katara?!”
“It’s just a scratch.” Y/N waved her away after noticing that Aang was leaning heavily on his staff after airbending at her. “I’m fine, Katara.”
“It’s like the size of my hand. Let her heal it,” Sokka protested.
“Sokka,” Y/N growled through her teeth. “Let her help Aang first.”
---
“Sorry, Aang. We should have told you when you woke up last night. I just didn’t want to overwhelm you,” Katara explained as she mended the gash on Y/N’s leg. The water soothed the sting, and when she was done all that was left was a pink scar.
Aang rubbed his neck. “Sorry, Y/N.”
“No harm done. I probably would have reacted the same way if I saw someone beating up on my friend,” Y/N reassured.
“You weren’t beating up on me,” Sokka muttered. He was quickly silenced with an elbow to the ribs, courtesy of Toph.
“Maybe we should tell Twinkle-Toes what’s happened these last couple weeks.”
“Right, so after Ba Sing Se, we had to get you to safety. We went to Chameleon Bay and found Dad and the rest of his fleet. But the bay was full of Fire Nation ships and we wouldn’t stand a chance against them. So, we stole one.” Sokka gestured happily around him.
“So, what now?” Aang asked. “What are we going to do now that I’m awake?”
“My dad and I have been working on the invasion plan,” Sokka said.
Y/N knew of the invasion plan. They didn’t act like they were trying to hide the plans from her, but it wasn’t like they included her in them either.
“We won’t have the Earth King’s armies but we’ll have our allies from the Earth Kingdom, the eclipse and a surprise on our side.” Sokka wiggled his eyebrows.
“What’s the surprise?” Aang asked suspiciously.
“You! The whole world thinks you’re dead! Isn’t that great?” Sokka jumped to his feet.
“Great?!” Aang stood up too, albeit unsteady, and leaned over the railing. “That’s terrible!”
“No, it’s great.” Sokka countered. “The Fire Nation won’t be hunting us anymore and they won’t expect you the day of Black Sun.”
“No, no, no! You have no idea. This is so messed up!” Aang ran his hands through his short hair and opened his mouth to say something else when a foghorn interrupted him.
Everyone’s faces whipped around in the direction of the sound. A Fire Nation ship was approaching.
---
The five of them huddled on the staircase that led below deck, each one peeking their eyes (or ears) over the railing to catch what was happening. A metal gangplank was dropped between the ships and two soldiers and their captain approached Bato and Hakoda. Words were exchanged between the men but Y/N couldn’t hear a thing.
“Gods, he looks familiar,” Y/N mumbled to herself.
“Something’s wrong. They know!” Toph grabbed the edge and was about to haul herself over to tell everyone.
But Y/N grabbed her shoulder and pulled her back. “Wait.”
“What?!” she shrieked.
Y/N ran up the steps. Sokka grabbed her calf but she shook him off and put on her most confident walk; long legged strides and her billowing cape hid her shaking hands. Y/N still wasn’t sure what she was doing.
“Captain, what is going on?” She blinked at Hakoda and begged the spirits to tell him what she was doing.
“My Lady,” He said gravely and Y/N held back a smile. “This Captain tells us that we need to be headed back to Ba Sing Se to support the occupation there.”
“Absolutely not!” She shouted.
She stepped up on the gangplank and walked towards the three enemy soldiers who had frozen in the middle at her voice. “What is your name?” she pointed at the Captain.
He looked at her, taken aback. “I am Captain Sato. And who are you?”
His eyes moved up and down her body and she stood a little taller. She put on her most diplomatic voice. “My name is Y/N, daughter of Commander Zhang. Right now you are delaying a very important mission. I command you to disembark our ship immediately and let us be on our way.”
Captain Sato let out a chuckle. “And what mission would that be? Your Captain is heading in the opposite direction of where he should be going and doesn’t even know which Admiral is in charge.”
“That’s the point, you idiot! I’m on a secret mission for Fire Princess Azula; one of which you aren’t privy to the facts of and neither are they! Get off my ship!”
He took an intimidating step towards her but Y/N didn’t back down. “I will be sending a messenger hawk to Capital City to confirm this, of course.” His voice was slimy, and she finally knew where she recognized him from. Some dinner party or something. His eyes always lingered too long.
“You can do that, but know that I will be sending my own to make sure you are stripped of your title, stripped of your ship and you will go back to the Fire Nation as a disgrace. How does that sound, Captain Sato?” she sneered.
She was met with silence. His face was red and he was breathing heavily. He wasn’t going to risk his job for his, Y/N knew it. “You’re free to go, My Lady.”
“Yes I am,” she growled.
She marched back to Hakoda and Bato with wide eyes. She stood shoulder to shoulder with them as the Fire Nation ship pulled away.
Toph grabbed her from behind and spun her around. “Y/N, I laughed so hard when you said you were going to strip him of his title, I thought they were going to be able to hear me.” The younger girl threw her head back and laughed some more. “Who even says ‘privy’?”
“You did good, kid.” Hakoda patted her shoulder, and that little action took a huge weight off her shoulders. Y/N let herself laugh loudly and freely along with Toph; she laughed so hard that she could barely pull a breath back in.
“I–I don’t even remember what I said. I think I blacked out.” Y/N giggled again and she felt good.
---
The ship docked in a Fire Nation port at dusk. Food was getting low on the ship but that was just the essentials they needed. It was also exhausting being at sea for so long. They all needed to stretch their legs on dry land.
Toph, Sokka and Y/N waited just inside of town. It was beginning to get dark outside and Sokka was pacing. “Where are they? I’m starving.”
“Calm down, Snoozles,” Toph said. “Katara said they’d be right behind us.”
“But what if they got captured? We are in the Fire Nation.” Without meaning it, he looked very pointedly at Y/N. She in turn, focused her eyes anywhere but him.
“Wait!” Toph said. “I can hear Katara…” She trailed off and gave them both a confused look. “It’s just Katara.”
Y/N followed Sokka and Toph as they ran to meet her.
“There you are!” Katara’s cheeks were red from running. “Aang is gone.”
“What? Where did he go?” Sokka inquired.
“I don’t know! He said–he said he needed to redeem himself. He took his glider and left! I think he wants to finish this on his own. He said he needed to defeat the Fire Lord alone.” Katara shook her head, not even she could understand the reasoning behind it.
“Well come on! We have to go find him!” Toph was already running back in the direction of the ship. Y/N hesitated, but then followed them. The least she could do is give them a proper send off when they took Appa.
---
Katara climbed up and took the reins while Sokka and Toph clamored up into the saddle. Y/N opened her mouth, but she didn’t even know what to say. Was good-bye something even appropriate? Good luck? Sokka interrupted her thoughts and she realized she was standing there staring at them like a fish out of water. “What are you doing?”
“Saying goodbye?” Y/N replied.
“Why are you saying goodbye?” Toph asked. She nudged Sokka in the arm. “Why is she saying goodbye?”
“I’m not a part of your team.” Sokka and Katara shared a look. Y/N felt stupid, like she was missing something very important.
“You’re coming with us,” Katara declared. “We thought you knew. You became a part of this the moment you fought with us, fought for us. Aang would want you here. I–We want you here.”
Y/N couldn’t help the small smile that drifted across her face. Finally, here was her answer. And it was as simple as Sokka leaning down to grab her hand and help her climb up Appa. She finally had a cause that she could be proud to serve. Because this was what it was all for; uniting the nations. And here they were, five kids doing it themselves on the back of a sky bison.
---
A/N: How do we feel, guys? Send me asks and messages bc i love hearing your feedback ❤️
I think I’m gonna let Toph say fuck in this fic. I don’t know exactly how Katara’s healing powers work when it comes to severity of wounds so I’m just making it up as I go. Also, I don’t know if I’ve made Y/N sound passive at all because of how Azula treated her but I want all of you to know that that is not her in my head at all. She is aggressive and vindictive, and despite all of her internal monologuing, she actually hates being told what to do.

ATLA MixedUp! AU part VI: Friend Blessed By A Spirit
Masterpost
Who's gonna be the Avatar ally lucky enough to find their way around a spirit and get blessed by them (with the obligatory hair color change, obviously)?
Tumblr media
Ty Lee!! That's so cool 👀 Althought i'd like to know about the TWO MAIN CHARACTER'S SIBLINGS first lmao stop making me wait xD What's her element?
Tumblr media
FIRE! Subending?
Tumblr media
Holy shit, it's combustion bending! I hoped I'd get one of them as a combustion bender 👉👈. Althought damn, Ty Lee, you got a busy life
Tumblr media
So here's her little backstory I crafted with two sticks and a piece of scotch: I like the idea that being a combustion bender is a skill you learn, with special facilities where combustion benders are trained? So Ty Lee would have been a part of one of those facilities. She'd always been very spiritual, and empathetic even if her "masters" tried to force it out of her.
Tumblr media
So one day, she somehow manages to escape, hiding among the Fire Nation people. Ported by the tales of her childhood and her strong beliefs, she manages to find the Sun warriors and the Dragons, who deem her worthy and bless her. Her hair changes color, and her firebending gets stronger. It greatly helps her overcome her trauma, by finding another way to bend, without rage and anger. She will teach that to the Avatar, alongside helping her perfect her Firebending. Because, maybe Katara's learning experience was incomplete? I know I said she mastered Firebending before, but I wasn't sure she'd get a teacher. So I retcon myself lol.
Tumblr media
She's... A very good addition to the group to say the least. She's probably extremely powerful?! I think the Dragons helped her developp her actual firebending outside of combustion, and she's trying to teach herself more about it. Her and Katara can exchange about it! :) Not making Katara a full blown Combustion bender btw, just teachings her a few attacks and how to concentrate fireballs, kind of like what Ozai did during his final fight with Aang in the show. It will be VERY useful in Katara's final fight (?)
Maybe after finding the dragons she adopted a nomadic lifestyle in the Fire Nation, kind of what she did with the Circus, and that's how she falls on the Gaang. I picked the Western Air Temple as her background because I felt like it, so... That's where she meets Team Avatar. Because of what she learned and her connection with the spirits, she will feel like she has to join with the Avatar, because nobody else can teach her that. Oh! She's probably Katara's spiritual guide :)
Even with her relatively tragic and probably more traumatising backstory, she's still one of the most cheerful and enthusiatic members of Team Avatar.
Her final design (yes i know I did three of them. She's an interesting character okay xD) includes wide and loose clothing (althought it's probably not the most practical for fighting?) In contrast to her Facility clothes. I imagined she wouldn't want to be reminded of them, and always hated the tight clothes and how they felt. She kept the belt tho, it's probably practical and also was a reassuring constant. The weight, all that. I also gave her another belt, looking more utilitarian, and some bombs are her side. I imagine she's also kind of an engineer, and uses tools to help her. So maybe she was trained in swords, or knives too? Just to make her as efficient as possible. Oh, btw! To fit in with the engineer point, she's gonna date Sokka at some point because I say so. Yes, i don't have a clue what he does yet, but I don't care. Ty Lokka for the win xD
I didn't want to just give her back her clown costume, plus I feel like it's more adapted to... Acrobatics and shit than firebending
Oh, and just for the fun of it, her and Azula hit it off in half a second and become best friends after 2 days.
Ok, this is all nice and shit, but I need an airbender 😭
By the way, if book 1 was Earth, then they went to the north pole (passing by the wrstern air temple first) and lastly (because it's gonna be very hard to find one) katara is gonna learn airbending, we might as well just reverse the whole avatar cycle. Just sayin'
Oh. And also. This is my hot girl summer so I'm adding jet to my list of characters, and a "friend with a rebel cell against the fire nation" category. Just because I can.

I believe that Eolyne is Eugeo, but not in the way that you think he is. {{An in depth Theory}} -This is either 1000 IQ, or I’m losing my God Damn mind. You pick.
Tumblr media
Eolyne is a reincarnation of Eugeo, but they’re not exactly the same person. Eugeo is the core of who Eolyne is, but Eolyne is also a new fraction of Eugeo. He’s his own person. Because people change, they don’t remain the same. Eugeo might be the core of Eolyne, but Eolyne is also his own unique person and he’s lived a life all his own.
_ _
Think of it like this, Eolyne is essentially an Integrity Knight in a way. His memories and feelings of Kirito have been locked away, but within Eolyne, Eugeo is still there - just dormant.
_ _
Let’s talk about their fluctlight ids.
_ _
Eugeo’s ID is NND7-6361
and
Eolyne’s ID is NCD1-13091
_ _
Okay, so they’re very different, so like there’s no way they could be one in the same right?
_ _
Well interestingly enough, in the novel the Blue Rose Sword’s object id is:   DI:WSM:0131.
_ _ {{The other id for the Blue Rose Sword we see is WLSS703, but in the light novel it’s: DI:WSM:0131. And since the novel is technically the true canon -because the anime did change things around and omit events, and such- we are going to go with the end all be all that the true ID for the Blue Rose Sword is  DI:WSM:0131.}}
_ _
If you recall Eugeo became one with the sword so technically his fluctlight id would change, right? Meaning that his fluctlight would become one with the sword, I would think.
_ _
So wouldn’t that change some of Eugeo’s id to: DI:WSM:0131? -for the time he was merged with the sword, before and after his death.-
_ _
Now if you look at Eolyne’s id you see it has the numbers: 13091
If you remove the 9 you get 1301.
If you move the numbers around from 1301 and you put 0 in the front, follow it up with 1, then 3, then 1 again you get
0131. -This matches the Blue Rose Sword’s ID.
Now if you take the two 6′s in Eugeo’s fluctlight id and you add them together, you get 12! And if you subtract 12 by the number 3 in Eugeo’s fluctlight you get, you guessed it: 9!
And the number 9 is in Eolyne’s id.
_ _
Now you ask: Well what about the 1 in Eugeo’s fluctlight at the end, if you subtract or add that to 9, then wouldn’t the number change to 8 or 10, instead of 9? Well there’s a simple explanation for that.
_ _
Eugeo and the Blue Rose Sword’s ids come together to make Eolyne’s id.
_ _
The system would take the two ids and merge them together, which means that some numbers could be dropped completely or added on, so the 1 in Eugeo’s fluctlight id was dropped and replaced with the 9 after adding 6 to become 12 and subtract the 3. Then the dropped 1 from Eugeo’s fluctlight id replaced the number 7 in NND7 to become NCD1.  _ _
So now you’ wonder, well what about how the middle N in NND7? How did that N change to a C to make NCD1?
_ _
To answer your question...I actually don’t know. There’s no C in Eugeo’s fluctlight id or the object id of the Blue Rose Sword. My only guess is that the C is unique to Eolyne and Eolyne alone. It’s a unique difference, one single letter changed, to differentiate Eolyne from Eugeo.
_ _
So... to get to the point:
Basically the system merged Eugeo and The Blue Rose Sword together as one, and that entity became Eolyne and the N to C letter change represents that even though Eugeo is the core base of Eolyne, Eolyne is his own person as well.
And I realize I might be reaching or looking too far into this, but it’s really too peculiar of a coincidence that taking Eugeo’s Fluctlight id and The Blue Rose Sword’s id and putting them together matches somewhat up with Eolyne’s fluctlight id - just that the we had to rearrange numbers, add and subtract some and swap out a letter to create Eolyne’s id.
_ _
There’s also far too many coincidences to overlook that Eolyne and Eugeo are one in the same, but also different.
For one Kirito keeps remarking how similar Eugeo and Eolyne are. They both have blonde hair, their eyes are both green, it’s confirmed they share the same voice actor for crying out loud. And I bet once the mask comes off, we will see that Eolyne’s face is identical to Eugeo’s or nearly identical.
Now back to explaining how Eugeo and Eolyne can be one in the same, but also not the same and different. You see, Eolyne is his own person too. He’s lived his own life separate from the life he lived as Eugeo. But he will still have Eugeo’s memories and feelings from his past life.
_ _
{{He might recover those memories or feelings sometime during The Novel and Anime, or they might remain dormant forever. But let’s just assume he’s going to regain those memories and feelings, and go from there.}}
_ _
So
Eolyne is technically both Eugeo and not Eugeo at the same time, which is very contradictory. But if you take into the fact people change and become someone new every day, then it’s easy to overlook the contradiction.
Eolyne is basically an anomaly in this way. The core of his fluctlight was built up from the remains of whatever was left of Eugeo and the Blue Rose Sword - but the other part of him is his very own unique part, not relating to Eugeo at all.
So I believe if/when Eolyne recalls his memories of his past life and the feelings that go along with it, he will either decide to live as he always has - as Eolyne, or Eugeo, or even both.
And that no matter who Eolyne chooses to live as, Kirito will accept and support his choice. Because Eugeo/Eolyne will always be Kirito’s best friend, no matter what life they’re in. And even if Eolyne decides to live just as Eolyne, he will still cherish and love Kirito just as Eugeo would have.
_ _
{{Also it’s kind of ironically amazing isn’t it? That this theory here sort of parallels the theory that Kirito’s dual wielding is a metaphor for him being bi, while Eugeo becoming Eolyne can be a metaphor for a trans person transitioning. AKA Eugeo/Eolyne deciding to live as either Eugeo, Eolyne or both. Just like how a trans person can choose to live as a male, a female, both, or even niether.}}
{{I know a lot of people will argue with me on this front, but like you cannot deny that Kirito’s dual wielding can be a metaphor for bisexuality, and Eugeo’s {{possible}} reincarnation could be a metaphor for transitioning. Even if they’re not exact in terms of actual bisexuality and transitioning, the implications are definitely still there.}}
I know I’m probably reaching. I know this is probably just my desperate shipper heart of both romantic Yujikiri and platonic Yujikiri because I enjoy both - trying to confirm it to myself that Eugeo and Eolyne are the same, even though different. I am well aware of it. There’s probably several holes in my theory, and I accept that.
Just please let me have this, if nothing else. Please just let me believe that the creator Reki Kawahara knows what he’s doing and that he planned this all along, and I’ve cracked the case. _ _ To me it’s just too much of a coincidence, that you can mess around with the arrangement of the numbers, and the addition and subtraction of Eugeo’s fluctlight id and the Blue Rose Sword’s id to get Eolyne’s fluctlight id. Like that cannot just be by accident, if it is, then that's one hell of an accident. This would make Eolyne an entity that was created by fusing Eugeo and The Blue Rose Sword together as one living and breathing entity. {{But seriously, what are the chances of all this being just an accident?!}}
In the words of Master Oogway:
Tumblr media
Also let’s not forget the fact that Eolyne basically said the very same thing Eugeo did when he met {{or rather was reunited with}} Kirito.
Which was:
“Nice to meet you, Kirito-kun.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
{{This seriously cannot just be a whole bunch of miraculous coincidences. You miss me with that!}}
{{You gonna TELL ME? That Eolyne just happened to say the same thing Eugeo did when Kirito reunited with Eugeo? You’re gonna say that Kirito reuniting with Eolyne isn’t also him reuniting with Eugeo?! How could it be anything else?}}
_
_
Nevertheless...
It’s just like the question asked in Avatar The Last Air Bender: Do you believe friendships can transcend lifetimes?
If you want my answer: Yes, they can. Even if the second time around -or even the 3rd or 4th, or so on-, that person is not exactly the same person in their past life or lives, the truth of the matter is that the core part of them will always be the same - no matter how different they are from one life to the next. And it’s up to them to choose who they want to live life as.
The very idea that Kirito and Eugeo’s friendship/relationship with one another could {{and possibly has}} transcended a lifetime...?
That my friends...
Is heartbreakingly beautiful in all the right ways.

A Paladin in the Fire Nation
Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3
Rating: PG
Series: Voltron Legendary Defender/Avatar the Last Airbender
Summary: After the fight with Zarkon, Shiro accidentally gets tossed into another reality where humans have the ability to bend the elements. His best shot at returning home is with someone called the Avatar, while he waits he might as well take on the job of being the Firelord’s bodyguard.
-----------------------------------------------------
Zuko was silent as Shiro told them his story. He tried to keep an open mind these days and being close friends with the Avatar had caused Zuko to experience very strange things.
However, Zuko did have limits and Shiro’s tale was pushing them to the extreme.
“So you’re from another universe,” Sokka said slowly. “Where you go into space inside ships in the shape of lions, who are sentient and can become on a giant ship shaped like a person called Voltron, and fight an empire run by beings called Garlic.”
“Galra,” Shiro had corrected as Iroh poured himself another cup of tea, “but yes.”
“And you got here because your lion accidentally sent you here while you were fighting the emperor,” Toph added.
“Correct,” Shiro confirmed.
Toph and Sokka turned their faces to Zuko, likely waiting for his reaction. Zuko took a deep breath. “That is an..interesting tale.”
Shiro raised an eyebrow as Zuko stood and tucked his hands into his robes. “Toph, Sokka, may I speak with you in private for a moment?”
“You can use my bedroom and shut the door,” his uncle offered and by the sound of his tone had been expecting it.
“Thank you, Uncle, we’ll just be a moment,” Zuko said briskly.
Toph and Sokka followed close behind while Zuko was being very careful to not say a word until they were all inside and he shut the door.
“I’ll be the first to say it,” Zuko said as he turned to his friends, “he is insane, right?”
Much to his shock, neither of them instantly agreed. Instead, Toph was silent and Sokka waved a hand back and forth.
“Ehhhh, maybe but my gut is telling me no,” Sokka replied.
“You’re kidding,” Zuko said in disbelief. “Did you hear what he said? There’s no way for it to be true.”
“But that’s the thing,” Sokka said as he paced. “Look, a real criminal would probably try to come up with a reasonable explanation. Why would Shiro tell us that story unless it is the truth?”
“You’re saying it’s so crazy it has to be true?” Zuko asked.
“Exactly,” Sokka said with a nod. “Why even bother with telling us about giant lion ships if he assumed we wouldn’t believe it.”
“I’m with Sokka,” Toph said. “I monitored the guy’s heart during the whole time he talked, he’s not lying.”
“He could be good at lying,” Zuko argued. “You told me Azula is able to pass it.”
Sokka raised an eyebrow. “You honestly believe that Shiro guy is at Azula level of lying?”
Zuko opened and shut his mouth. He hadn’t even known Shiro for a day, but he had seemed confused by the interrogation earlier. It was possible the man was a very good actor, but still…
“It would also explain why his armor is so odd,” Sokka added, “and his arm too. Not even Teo and his dad have designs that advanced.”
“Plus, Iroh is taking him seriously,” Toph added. “That should say something too.”
Sokka touched Zuko’s shoulder. “Be honest, what do you feel in your gut about Shiro?”
Zuko shut his eyes. “My common sense is saying he’s delusional,” he sighed, “but my gut says he’s telling the truth.”
“So we are all in agreement then,” said Toph with a shrug. “Now what?”
“How about we start by telling Shiro we believe him?” Sokka offered.
Zuko nodded as he turned around and led them back. Iroh was pouring another cup of tea while Shiro watched them come back with concern in his eyes.
“We believe you,” Zuko stated and sighed. “Although a large part of me is calling me crazy for doing so.”
“I don’t blame you,” Shiro said with a nervous chuckle. “I would have a hard time in your position.”
“So then spaceman,” Toph said as she sat next to him, “how do you think you can get back home?”
“Yeah, if this Black Lion sent you here by accident can she just take care of it,” Sokka said as he and Zuko took their seats.
“I wish it were that easy,” Shiro said, “but I’m too far away for her to help even though I can still hear her.”
Zuko froze as he tilted his head. “You can..hear her?”
“In my head,” Shiro said as he tapped forehead. “We paladins form a connection with our lions and it allows us to communicate them with our minds.”
“I see,” Zuko said, trying to keep his voice calm while he felt his common sense glaring at him. What have I gotten myself into?
“Right, okay,” said Sokka who also sounded unsure as he crossed his arms. “Only person I can think of to help you is Aang.”
“That is what I was suggesting when you three entered,” Iroh said as he sipped his tea. “Since it sounds like at least some form of the Spirit World is parly how you came to be here.”
“I wouldn’t exactly call the Astral Plane a spirit world,” Shiro replied as he rubbed his neck, “but I can’t deny it isn’t that either.”
It certainly felt like a place where spirits could dwell.
Toph sucked the air between her teeth. “Yeah, well, you’re going to have to wait awhile since Aang is dealing with settling some disputes over in the Earth Kingdom.”
Zuko sighed but nodded. Some of the towns had been former Fire Nation colonies that had been given back, but the previous Lord it had belonged to had died and so his twin sons were currently arguing on who the towns now belonged to.
“He is supposed to come straight here when he’s finished,” Zuko replied firmly, “but it’s hard to tell how long as it takes.”
“I see,” Shiro said with a sigh. “If you can recommend where I can stay I would greatly appreciate it.” His frown tightened. “Also possibly where I can make some money since I have nothing to pay-”
“No need for either since you’ll stay here as our guest,” Iroh said.
Zuko choked slightly as he shot his uncle a look. We barely know him and you want him to stay in the palace?
Iroh slightly glanced at Zuko before sipping his tea. “Given your circumstance, I’m sure our GENEROUS Firelord would be more than happy to accommodate you until we can figure out how to get you home.”
Zuko twitched an eye and wanted to argue, but Sokka grabbed his shoulder and whispered into his ear.
“I get your concern, but it’s probably better if he stays here since I doubt we want a ton of people finding out we got a person from another world just dropped into our laps,” Sokka muttered.
Zuko frowned, but gave a slow nod. A lot of people would dismiss it, but there were a few that would probably try to use it to their advantage and there were a few former FIre Nation nobles he rather kept that information away from.
“Alright,” Zuko said as he tucked his hands into his sleeves, “although we’ll have to think of an explanation as to why I’m suddenly treating the intruder as a guest.”
“Just say it was a prank I pulled that went wrong,” Toph said with a shrug.
Shiro raised an eyebrow. “You expect the guards to believe that a mysterious intruder was all just a prank pulled by you?”
Zuko narrowed his eyes before sighing and massaging his forehead. “After the Badgermole and Groundpecker incident, they would.”
Shiro blinked. “The what?”
Sokka sighed. “Don’t ask, trust me.”
Zuko nodded in agreement.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Once Zuko had announced Shiro was a guest, he and Sokka escorted Shiro to a guest chamber. It wasn’t nearly as big as Iroh’s room, but Shiro was just grateful to not have to return to his cell.
The rest of the day passed by rather quickly. Iroh told Shiro he would get him some more clothes in the meantime, and Zuko had his armour returned to Shiro. He assumed it was a lost cause, but Shiro attempted to see if he could contact the paladins through his helmet. Much to his chagrin, all he heard was static.
It was killing Shiro to not be there with his team. They were probably all worried if he was dead, Keith especially. Shiro hated that he was putting him through this again, but it wasn’t as if he had a choice.
He briefly wondered if the Black Lion could just send a message that he was still alive, but Keith’s connection with the Black Lion wasn’t deep enough for that yet. Which meant, all Shiro could do was wait and hope this Avatar would be able to get him home.
Shiro tried not to dwell on this as he ate dinner. Zuko and Iroh had other duties to attend to, but Sokka and Toph joined him. They were energetic, but they seemed to be good kids. Truth be told, Sokka reminded him a lot of Lance, and he wasn’t sure if the two met if they would get along or butt heads as a result.
Shiro didn’t stay with them long. He was exhausted both from the day, and it hadn’t even been a full 24 hours since his life or death battle with Zarkon. So, Shiro went to bed early.
It hadn’t taken long for him to sleep, and it would have been restful if not for the nightmare.
Shiro was back at the Castle of Lion. He wasn’t sure how, but it was wrong.
The lights were off and everywhere there was nothing except darkness.
And no sign of any of his friends.
Shiro ran through the halls. “KEITH! PIDGE! ALLURA!”
He called out but no one responded.
“HUNK! LANCE! CORAN!” Shiro ran through the endless hall. “ SOMEONE ANSWER ME!”
He reached the control room and barged inside.
Shiro froze.
Allura, Coran, and all of the paladins lay motionless on the ground.
The only one who was standing was Zarkon as he wiped the blood off his sword.
“You took too long to come home, Paladin,” Zarkon scoffed as he slowly approached.
Shiro told his feet to run, but they remained planted. His body wouldn’t move.
“Your friends are dead because of you,” Zarkon continued as he raised his sword. “Now you shall share their fate.”
The sword lowered for his head.
Shiro gasped for air as he sprang up in his bed. Sweat dripped off his forehead as Shiro felt his heart pounding in his chest.
“Just a dream,” he muttered to himself. “Just a dream. They’re alright.”
For now, he thought darkly. But they could get killed tomorrow while you're stuck here all nice and safe.
Shiro grip tight on his bed sheets. Once he felt his heart calm down, he scrubbed his hand over his face.
“No way I’m going back to sleep,” he muttered.
If he was back at the castle, he would do some reading or go to the training room for practice. Shiro sighed as he tossed off the sheets.
I’ll go for a walk, Shiro thought. Maybe I can find a quiet place to do some training exercises.
He threw on some clothes and went out into the hall. Shiro headed towards the gardens. Iroh had said he would be free to go there and it seemed the most likely place where Shiro could be alone. He couldn’t see anyone being there this early.
The sun was just starting to rise as Shiro ventured outside. He didn’t see anyone in the garden, except for the ducks in the pond.
At least Shiro thought they were ducks.
The creatures certainly had heads and bodies of ducks, but upon closer inspection they seemed to have turtle shells on their backs.
“Turtle ducks?” Shiro muttered as he kneeled.
A small turtle duck glanced up curiously at him and quacked.
“You are actually not the weirdest creature I’ve ever seen,” Shiro admitted.
The turtle duck tilted it’s head, and then quacked once more before swimming away.
“I didn’t mean it as an insult,” Shiro said with a grin.
“What are you doing here?”
Shiro jumped slightly, and rose back up as he turned around to see Zuko.
He looked different. Zuko’s hair was loose and not as neatly tied up like earlier, and he seemed to be wearing more casual robes.
“Oh, uh, sorry,” Shiro said as he rubbed his neck. “I couldn’t get back to sleep and was looking for a place to train.” He then gave a frown. “Why are you up so early?”
Zuko’s eyes narrowed. “I am a firebender, and thus the optimal time to train is when the sun rises.”
“QUACK!”
Zuko froze.
Shiro glanced downward.
A small turtle duck quacked again before using its beak to tug on Zuko’s pant leg. It was only then Shiro noticed a small piece of bread in the Firelord’s hand.
Zuko sighed as he kneeled and tore off a piece of the bread.
“It..is also the best time to feed the turtle ducks,” Zuko muttered while blushing.
Another quack was heard when the turtle duck snatched the bread, gobbled it up and spirited towards the pond.
“I see,” Shiro said as he did his best to repress a smile, but couldn’t resist a small chuckle.
Zuko glared. “You find this funny do you?”
Shiro shook. “No, no, sorry,” he said quickly. “It’s just you look like my friend Keith when I caught him feeding some squirrels.”
He thought back to it. It had been Keith’s birthday, and Shiro had taken him into town to celebrate. They had ended up wandering into a park. Shiro had gone to get them some ice cream, only to discover Keith had been tossing some peanuts towards a squirrel.
Shiro may have quietly taken a photo on his phone before Keith realized he had been caught and blushed bright red.
Zuko frowned in response. “You mean rabbit squirrels?”
Shiro’s chuckles paused as he tilted his head. “Um..no squirrels.”
Zuko raised an eyebrow as the turtle duck finished the rest of the bread. “Your world must be very weird.”
Shiro held up his hands. “Look, I didn’t mean to invade your privacy. I’ll just leave.”
Zuko tossed the rest of the bread to a nearby duck and dusted the crumbs off his hands.
“It’s fine,” Zuko said as he stood. “I was about to leave anyway. There’s paperwork I wanted to get taken care of. You can use the garden if you like.”
“Um, thank you,” Shiro said, “and not just for the garden, but for also letting me stay here.”
“I’m not the one you should be thanking,” Zuko said as he crossed his arms. “That should go towards Uncle, Sokka and Toph for convincing me.”
“But it was still your decision in the end,” Shiro replied. “I realize it can’t be easy letting a stranger into your home.”
“It’s not,” Zuko said as he crossed his arms. “Frankly, I’m still suspicious of you.”
Shiro suddenly thought of Keith, who he knew would have had the same response as Zuko.
“Why are you smiling?” Zuko asked.
“Sorry,” Shiro replied. “You just remind me a lot of my friend Keith. He would have agreed with you.”
He couldn’t resist wondering if the two would get along.
“Then your friend is smart,” Zuko said as he turned his back to Shiro. “I’ll send a servant to fetch you when it’s time for breakfast.”
“You don’t have to-” Shiro began, but paused.
There was a metallic glint shone in the bushes. Why would there be-
Adrenaline and panic struck as Shiro dashed forward. “GET DOWN!”
He shoved Zuko to the ground and remained on top of him as an arrow flew over their heads.
“You okay?” Shiro asked as he and Zuko scrambled back to their feet.
“Ask our attackers that,” Zuko snapped and launched a ball of flame at the bushes.
There was a yelp and two men with scorched clothing tumbled out, one of them holding a bow.
“I don’t know who you are,” Zuko declared, “but surrender now and I promise you’ll be treated fairly.”
The archer snarled and prepared to launch another arrow.
“Oh no you don’t,” Zuko said as he charged and with fire burning in both his fists. The archer dropped the bow and pulled out a sword.
Shiro could only assume Zuko could handle it as the other attacker decided to rush at Shiro with a dagger.  He dodged, grabbed the dagger with his cybernetic arm and twisted it out of the man’s hand before kicking him away.
The man stumbled, but quickly regained his balance. He glared at Shiro, and then stomped his foot to the ground. Instantly, spikes popped from the ground and headed straight towards him.
Shiro jumped and rolled on the ground just barely avoiding the spikes. He panted as he leaned on his knees.
“Wild guess, but I take it you’re an earth bender?” he shouted.
“Oh gee, aren’t you smart,” the man sneered as he raised his arm.
A small spike rose out of the dirt, only for it to harden as the man reached for it and snapped it off the ground.
The earth bender charged again.
Shiro sprang to his feet in time to block and flip the man, but not before he felt the spike cut at his normal arm.
He hissed as blood dripped slightly.
Really wish I had my armor on right now, Shiro grumbled.
Flashes came from fighting hand to hand. Having to ignore every cut, every broken bone and keep fighting.
No, no, not now, Shiro thought as he shook his head at the memories. It wasn’t the time.
Shiro looked up. The man had crashed against a tree, but was already getting back up. A battle cry caused Shiro to look over to Zuko. The young Firelord was holding his own, but the archer wasn’t slowing down with each swipe of the sword.
“Do the world a favor and die with your father!” the archer snapped as he tried to slice at Zuko’s head, but missed as the boy ducked.
Shiro heard movement and managed to block the earth bender by gripping his wrists stopping the spike just inches away towards his face.
Shiro grunted and realized Zuko was closer to him now as an idea came.
“Zuko,” Shiro called out, “I think these two should face each other instead!”
Zuko abruptly turned, frowned and gave a nod signaling he got the meaning. Swiftly, Zuko yanked the archer’s arm, and tossed him over just as Shiro did the same with the earth bender.
It was satisfying watching the pair collide into each other and fall into the pond.
Shiro dashed to Zuko’s side. “You alright?”
Zuko brushed the hair from his eyes and gestured to Shiro’s arm. “I should be asking you that.”
Shiro glanced at his arm and gripped the wound. “I’ve had worse.”
Zuko looked ready to say something, until the attackers climbed out of the pond. Both of them were dripping wet and eyes full of fury.
Shiro and Zuko got into fighting position, but suddenly mounds of earth sprang up and trapped the attackers with only their heads poking out.
Shiro blinked, but saw Zuko glanced over and spotted Toph who was now retracting her hand.
“You guys got into a fight and didn’t invite me?” she shouted.
“It was hardly planned,” Zuko snapped.
“Whatever,” Toph muttered as she walked over to them. “Everyone okay?”
“Shiro’s injured,” Zuko replied and sighed, “and he also saved me from getting an arrow through my head.” He slowly looked up and rubbed his neck. “Thanks for that.”
“Welcome,” Shiro said as he gripped his arm, “and it’s not that bad.”
“I think a doctor will be a better judge of that,” Toph replied as she crossed her arms.
Shiro opened his mouth but was cut off by a yawn.
“Okay,” Sokka muttered as he stumbled out, “why was there such a ruckus-”
He spotted the trapped angry men, blinked and then looked to the group. “What did I miss?”
“Nothing good,” Zuko muttered grimly.
Shiro nodded. He might not be in a war, but he had landed right in the middle of a lot of trouble.

Cetrion: He has a lot to prove before I believe that.
Nozomi: And here I thought Mom’s judgment was enough for you.

Nozomi: In all seriousness, your mom said you do have a temper.
Frost: A temper that’s saved me!
Nozomi: A temper that has also hurt you.
-
Nozomi: I am ageless, yes.
Frost: Then you must be older than Kronika herself!
Nozomi: Do you not know how agelessness works?
---
Nozomi: Don’t worry about me uncle Fujin. I’m fine.
Fujin: I am sorry we didn’t get to Gae before he got to you.
Nozomi: He’s dead. We don’t talk about him.
-
Nozomi: You wanna know what my other goal is?
Fujin: Yes! Please, talk to me.
Nozomi: There is no other goal. There is only revenge.
-
Nozomi: I must admit, I will miss some people when I go.
Fujin: What is stopping you from staying?
Nozomi: A lot of things Uncle Fujin. A lot.
---
Nozomi: Then you can oppose him?
Geras: You. You are his mother.
Nozomi: I may harbor her soul, but I am not Khaos!
-
Nozomi: If I have three daughters, I won’t let them be eaten.
Geras: You might not be able to avoid that fate, Nozomi.
Nozomi: That will be one fate I won’t repeat!
-
Nozomi: Tell me Geras, does Kronika mess with my memories?
Geras: It is the back and forth from your world to ours.
Nozomi: That’s impossible!
---
Nozomi: I never answered your question did I?
Jacqui: What question?
Nozomi: The one of my disappearance after seeing my dad get decapitated.
-
Nozomi: The family matters my mother is attending is not one I wish to go to
Jacqui: Why not?
Nozomi: I might see him again.
-
Nozomi: Not my mom, but the sword she wields.
Jacqui: The famed Reaper of Nebulas?
Nozomi: The very same!
---
Nozomi: You made sure to put the books back right?
Jade: I am borrowing one right now
Nozomi: Nobody takes books from mother’s temple!
-
Nozomi: Platonically means out of friendship
Jade: Oh! What strange language you gods have.
Nozomi: That’s actually an Earthrealm term.
-
Nozomi: I suggest Melantha. The Goddess of Death herself.
Jade: There is more than one Death deity?
Nozomi: Yes there is.
---
Nozomi: Bold of you to assume we have family get-togethers in the first place, Briggs.
Jax: You’re right. My bad.
Nozomi: No worries Briggs.
-
Nozomi: Oh yeah? Name one other time I lost my shit!
Jax: When your daddy got his chopped off.
Nozomi: Name another time!
-
Nozomi: I don’t think Rain wants to go with me
Jax: Long distance relationships can be hard.
Nozomi: Long distance?
---
Nozomi: No. No. Cage, Quan Chi is my dad by birth.
Johnny: What about Raiden?
Nozomi: He’s my dad in spirit.
-
Nozomi: If you think me controlling lighting is weird just wait til you see the other elements I control.
Johnny: Are you the Avatar?
Nozomi: I need to watch that with Lao again.
-
Nozomi: You don’t get enough recognition in Hollywood Cage?
Johnny: Not anymore.
Nozomi: Ouch!
---
Nozomi: There are variants to my name depending on the characters used
Kabal: The what?
Nozomi: At least according to Earthrealm customs.
-
Nozomi: I’m not saying Kristy lied! I’m saying, did she say it was me?
Kabal: Well, not exactly.
Nozomi: So why am I the first person you went to?
-
Nozomi: No I do not make em revenants like my dad.
Kabal: Then what do you do?
Nozomi: Have you met Michiko and Reiki?
---
Nozomi: Why does my potential union to Rain interest you?
Kano: Bloke owes me a lot of money
Nozomi: And you think I’ll help pay for that? How cute.
-
Nozomi: I’ll teach you a lesson you’ll never forget!
Kano: Eh sorry teach. School’s out for the summer.
Nozomi: Welcome to summer school Kano!
-
Nozomi: A Devil, a Goddess, or a Titan.
Kano: What do all those have to do with me?
Nozomi: Pick whichever you want to call me, but you’re still paying your debt
---
Nozomi: I’m gonna miss you.
Kitana: Won’t you stay?
Nozomi: I’ve stayed long enough
-
Nozomi: Your friend Jade cares a great deal for you
Kitana: Her, Mileena, and Nyx are like my sisters.
Nozomi: Nyx says hi by the way.
-
Nozomi: Mileena is worried you don’t care for her
Kitana: What!? I need to invite her over.
Nozomi: Better do it fast
---
Nozomi: Nyx wouldn’t hurt Shariah, Kollector.
Kollector: And you believe that?
Nozomi: I’ve witnessed that
-
Nozomi: My debts aren’t always of the monetary kind, Kollector.
Kollector: What do you mean by that?
Nozomi: It depends what they offer.
-
Nozomi: Look, whatever went on between you two is none of my business.
Kollector: Could you atleast talk to her for me?
Nozomi: Fine. But you owe me.
---
Nozomi: He is my dad in spirit
Kotal Kahn: Then who was your dad in birth?
Nozomi: Quan Chi.
-
Nozomi: If you must no, Shariah has made a full recovery
Kotal Kahn: I’m glad to hear this
Nozomi: So are several others
-
Nozomi: Do you still wanna see that card trick?
Kotal Kahn: I would actually.
Nozomi: Great! You won’t be disappointed!
---
Nozomi: Ok wise one! Then who would be a better match for me?
Kung Lao: Liu and I are still going over the list.
Nozomi: You two made a list!?
-
Nozomi: Does Jin want a magic trick done for his birthday?
Kung Lao: He said, and I quote, “If she could poof me up a boyfriend that would be great”
Nozomi: Unfortunately, I am not that talented.
-
Nozomi: I’ll miss you so much Lao
Kung Lao: Why do you have to leave?
Nozomi: I can’t stand being hurt anymore
---
Nozomi: You and Lao made a list!?
Liu Kang: Ah. Has he told you who’s on that list?
Nozomi: No, but now I wanna know.
-
Nozomi: Liu, how could I forget the little boy who insisted on holding my hand all the time?
Liu Kang: I really wish you hadn’t reminded me about that.
Nozomi: Why not? It was cute!
-
Nozomi: I’ll miss you a whole lot Liu.
Liu Kang: Please don’t go!
Nozomi: I have to protect myself somehow.
---
Nozomi: Good news! She’s made a full recovery!
Mileena: Then I’ll throw a celebration for her!
Nozomi: Be careful. She needs to take it easy.
-
Nozomi: Didn’t think you cared for his happiness
Mileena: Rain’s been a good friend.
Nozomi: Well color me shocked.
-
Nozomi: Have you been over to Outworld to see your sister?
Mileena: I’m scared she’ll send me away
Nozomi: She won’t. Trust me.
---
Nozomi: I may harbor her soul, but I am not Khaos!
Nightwolf: Deny as you might, she made her home in you.
Nozomi: I didn’t ask her to!
-
Nozomi: Bad things happen to me a lot, Nightwolf. It’s nothing new.
Nightwolf: Why are you so comfortable with it?
Nozomi: I’m not. That’s why I’m leaving!
-
Nozomi: Raiden is a good dad.
Nightwolf: He cares a lot about you.
Nozomi: I know he does.
---
Nozomi: Please. What is there for him to brag about?
Noob Saibot: Your ability to fully restore a life.
Nozomi: I forgot he was there for that.
-
Nozomi: There is a difference between rage and hate.
Noob Saibot: Not for Michiko.
Nozomi: Perhaps she hasn’t had the chance to fully express that.
-
Nozomi: I am aware where my cousin has chosen to stay.
Noob Saibot: So you’ll take over the Brotherhood of Shadow right?
Nozomi: I thought you wanted to do that.
---
Nozomi: Tell me, why does everyone forget that I am also Goddess of revenge?
Raiden: Cause we’re not used to that side of you.
Nozomi: There are a lot of sides to me you aren’t used to.
-
Nozomi: Trust me, Rain will be a good husband
Raiden: For his safety, he better be the best
Nozomi: Hey! Enough with threatening my fiance.
-
Nozomi: I will miss you the most, dad.
Raiden: I promise you, I will do a better job protecting you!
Nozomi: You’re Earthrealm’s protector dad. Not mine.
---
Nozomi: If you don’t want to come with me then maybe we can try long distance?
Rain: But my darling, I would be too hurt without you by my side.
Nozomi: Then join me! Please.
-
Nozomi: Yeah, I don’t trust Hotaru either. He might get stab happy again.
Rain: Then let me go with you Nozomi.
Nozomi: I don’t wanna risk your health my love.
-
Nozomi: Rain, I don’t want worshipers or followers.
Rain: But you deserve them.
Nozomi: Not really.
---
Nozomi: What impression do I give Hanzo?
Scorpion: You give off a kind and caring one Nozomi.
Nozomi: Didn’t think I did.
-
Nozomi: By that description you gave, I say you like Michiko too!
Scorpion: Ahem. No!
Nozomi: I see you blushing Hasashi.
-
Nozomi: I’m still mad at you for killing my dad!
Scorpion: But wasn’t he found hiding in the void?
Nozomi: You’re lucky he was!
---
Nozomi: Rain won’t hurt me Shang.
Shang Tsung: I will trust your word for now Nozomi.
Nozomi: And I thought we were friends.
-
Nozomi: But being elusive is like second nature to you.
Shang Tsung: Not with you my dear friend.
Nozomi: Have I had that great of an effect on you?
-
Nozomi: How could you help her!?
Shang Tsung: Nozomi please. I did not know the One Being had you.
Nozomi: But she did! And you helped her!
---
Nozomi: Touch the sword and I will take your soul!
Shao Kahn: So the little welp wants to follow in daddy’s footsteps?
Nozomi: Follow? I perfect steps not follow them, Shao.
-
Nozomi: Brainwashing someone isn’t loving them Shao!
Shao Kahn: And what would you know of love?
Nozomi: A lot fucking more than you!
-
Nozomi: First you snap Lao’s neck and now you wound Shariah?
Shao Kahn: Is the short one gonna do something about it?
Nozomi: I’m gonna kill you over and over again!
---
Nozomi: Surprisingly, not a lot of people are in my debt.
Sheeva: That is a relief to hear.
Nozomi: In fact I collected my last debt a few hours ago.
-
Nozomi: Good news! Shariah is fully healed!
Sheeva: Then we shall celebrate her recovery!
Nozomi: She does need to take it easy.
-
Nozomi: Is there anyone you want me to bring back?
Sheeva: I have healed from their deaths. I’m alright.
Nozomi: If you change your mind, you know where to find me.
---
Nozomi: I don’t think there will be a wedding
Sindel: By the gods, what happened?
Nozomi: Rain doesn’t want to come with and he doesn’t seem up for long distance
-
Nozomi: Shairah has healed completely!
Sindel: Good. Shao Kahn is still paying for what he done
Nozomi: Done and done!
-
Nozomi: Do me a favor, and don’t get corrupted again.
Sindel: Trust me. I am sticking to Edenia.
Nozomi: Good. Pulling you out of the corruption was a nightmare
---
Nozomi: Shariah is now fully healed.
Skarlet: Tanya and I thank you.
Nozomi: No need to thank me.
-
Nozomi: I’m taking you up on that offer!
Skarlet: Where is he?
Nozomi: Probably loitering around Raiden’s Sky Temple.
-
Nozomi: Consider us be-friended.
Skarlet: This is perfect!
Nozomi: Let’s start blood-bending!
---
Nozomi: I am not a sadist. I don’t enjoy torturing people.
Sonya: So just killing them?
Nozomi: Precisely.
-
Nozomi: I’m not sticking around for anyone, Blade.
Sonya: Why not?
Nozomi: I have been hurt too much.
-
Nozomi: There are a lot of things you don’t know about Kronika.
Sonya: I’m betting there’s a lot I don’t want to know.
Nozomi: According to mom, yeah.
---
Nozomi: She was still processing what happened.
Sub-Zero: The old grandmaster was a fool to allow Shen to train her.
Nozomi: Had he really not known what Shen was doing?
-
Nozomi: I’m a titan by origin of my birth Kuai.
Sub-Zero: Then you could’ve taken down Kronika!
Nozomi: Well I wasn’t able to!
---
Nozomi: I can’t risk being hurt again.
Shinnok: I promise you, I will up the guards in the Netherrealm.
Nozomi: I’m not staying.
-
Nozomi: Uncle Shinnok, Rain’s not gonna hurt me.
Shinnok: I have a torture room with his name if he does.
Nozomi: Uncle Shinnok!
-
Nozomi: If I don’t get to, tell aunt Charu I’ll miss her
Shinnok: This is like losing my sister all over again.
Nozomi: Hey, I’m not gonna be trapped anywhere.
---
Nozomi: Dad, I can’t stay.
Quan Chi: Isaac won’t hurt you again.
Nozomi: It’s not just Isaac!
-
Nozomi: I don’t think there’s gonna be a wedding.
Quan Chi: Ah so death is the flavor of cake Rain wants.
Nozomi: Dad!
-
Nozomi: I know seeing loved ones go is hard, but I’m not dying.
Quan Chi: But I’m afraid you will.
Nozomi: My heart’s not as bad as it was.
---
Nozomi: You can try, but you’ll die before you even reach me.
Hotaru: Don’t underestimate my tracking abilities, Nozomi.
Nozomi: I’m doubting your attentiveness Hotaru.
-
Nozomi: I still haven’t thanked you.
Hotaru: For what?
Nozomi: For helping Rain find me when you did.
-
Nozomi: If you make my cousin upset one more time, I’m taking your head.
Hotaru: Not if I take yours first!
Nozomi: Oh it’s on!
---
Nozomi: My sword is sharp too.
Reiko: I prefer your tongue.
Nozomi: Well you won’t be keeping yours!
-
Nozomi: Out!
Reiko: I didn’t even get a chance to speak.
Nozomi: I don’t care. Go!
-
Nozomi: You being told you were a blood God ain’t impressive.
Reiko: Aww darn.
Nozomi: Besides, what’s a God to a Titan?
---
Nozomi: My son. I am so sorry.
Meat: Why do you have to leave?
Nozomi: I can’t stand being hurt again.
-
Nozomi: You won’t get flesh. I will make sure nobody gives you any
Meat: You can’t do that if you leave.
Nozomi: I can’t heal if I stay.
-
Nozomi: Hey good news son. Shariah is fully healed.
Meat: Oh good. I was worried for my friend.
Nozomi: She was worried about you too.

Sun Touched Zuko AU!!
Tag list @chaoticidiott @mypureessence @fae-tales-personal
This won't be a soulmate AU but it will be Zukka for sure.
Zuko was born sick, so sick in fact that he was going to die. His mother prayed to Agni that he would live, prayed that the sun spirit would save her first born son. In the gardens she held him up to the Setting sun pleading. The suns rays caught in the amber stone on top of the alter set for worship and moved to Zuko's eyes. His hair changed from solid black to a golden blonde, he opened eyes and began to cry. He was touched by the Sun and lived.
Ursa couldnt have been more happy, her son was alive. "My little sunshine" she whispered with tears rolling down her cheeks as she held him close and rocked him in her arms.
When Ozai saw his son's golden hair he demanded that it be dyed black, but was willing to compromise when Ursa suggested they wait until he turns 5 so that the dyes don't harm him.
The first time they dyed his hair he asked his mom why, his bright molten eyes looking at her with confusion "because your father wants you to feel safer my sunshine, people will stare at you with that bright shining hair of yours"
"Oh, okay" was his only response that day. He never questioned it anymore when they touched up his roots weekly.
After his mother left him he felt alone in the world, his dad still staining his golden hair each week with more and more ink. All the while berating him when he couldnt control his fire well. Even with being touched by the spirit and having powerful fire he couldnt manage to control it, couldnt understand how to. Until master Piandou taught him swords and he applied his teachings to his fire.
The first time he used his swords to control the fire Piandou was more than impressed "Prince Zuko! That was amazing!"
"Thank you Master, thinking of the swords as an extension helped me control the flames better" his smile soon faded when his father appeared
"Yes, great work Zuko, I am pleased to see you have learned how to control your flames, however mixing these arts in this fashion is unacceptable. Come with me"
After that he wasn't allowed back at Piandou's unless he was accompanied by either his father, or an advisor to make sure he practiced correctly.
On the day of his fated Agni Kai Zuko had just gotten his roots retouched before entering the war meeting. When his father burnt him for speaking out of term his tears felt like lava running down his cheeks. He could smell the fresh dye burning and it hurt his lungs.
His Uncle immediately took him under his wing when he was banished "Zuko, my star," his Uncle pleaded when they were at the western airtemple "i need to dress your wound, the sun spirit would not want you to lose your eye"
Zuko reluctantly let his Uncle clean and dress his wound several times on their travels until it healed and scarred over. When it finally healed over Iroh smiled "there you go sunshine" he said as he wiped the tears forming in Zuko's good eye away "do not cry Prince Zuko, you are safe"
He still dyed his roots every week to uphold his place as prince. He did not know that his golden hair was his own symbol or royalty, that the sun chose him. Sure he knew the sun saved him, but he could not understand that it was because he was chosen.
When he arrived at the South pole and discovered the Avatar, he felt a breath of relief wash over him. He was going home, but he heavily underestimated the Avatar's abilities and lost him.
Soon he started a cat and mouse game with the monk and his two southern water tribe friends. After the northpole he slacked on dying his hair, not because he didnt want to, he simply didn't have the resources to do so. So his roots started to grow in gold.
"Well your looking golden Zuzu" Azula's voice startled Zuko when he walked into the hut they were staying in.
"Azula, what are you doing here" he glared at his younger sister
"You know, im my country. We greet one another before asking questions" she responded coldly "i was just passing through"
"To what do we owe the pleasure of your visit Princess Azula?" Iroh piped into the conversation
"No wonder you two click, always so quick and to the point. Father sent me, family is suddenly very important to him." She turned her head to look out the window "father regrets your banishment. He wants you home"
Zuko was frozen in place "father regrets?"
"I can see you need time to think this through, ill be by to collect you in the morning" Azula smiled softly before a flash of worry flashed on her face for a split second as she walked out the door.
When Azula's true intentions were revealed Zuko and Iroh managed to flee from her and her soldiers. When they stopped at the river to cut their hair Zuko looked at Iroh when he watched the inky hair fall into the river "your gold hair will conceal your identity fairly well my nephew"
"Yeah, it'll hide me pretty well" nobody had seen Zuko with his golden hair before. He hadnt seen his hair fully gold since age five.
On their travels his hair grew fairly fast now that it wasnt being dyed so often. It would catch the eye of several earth kindom citizens when he passed through towns. When he and Iroh were sitting against a building with a hat in front of them a young woman approached them and slipped a few gold pieces in "I know this might sound creepy, and I'm only asking this because I cannot resist. But may I kiss your hair sir? You can say no, I won't take my money back."
Zuko flushed a light shade of pink and scratched the back of his head "uhm, s-sure?" He mumbled out and leaned his head towards her. She placed a tender almost motherly kiss to the top of his head.
"Oh, your hair is so beautiful sir, it's like a million rays of sun. I wish you luck, i can only spare a little but if you'd take these small meals Im sure they'd help you" she said while offering two wrapped meals
They accepted and thanked her with small bows "what a nice young lady, huh?" Iroh said and nudged Zuko's arm
"Yeah, she was very nice"
When Zuko and Iroh found Azula and Aang battling in an abandoned earth town Azula pointed out his hair "wow Zuzu! You look just like a star! Where'd all that ink go?" When the fight ended and Iroh was injured Zukos cheeks felt like magma was pouring from his eyes.
"Zuko, I can hel-" Katara approached them
"LEAVE!" Zuko cried out, turning to Katara with golden tears running down his face.
While on the Ferry to Ba Sing Se Zuko was angry, not angry at anyone or anything in particular, he was just angry. "Hey" the voice of a man at his right side broke his brooding "names Jet"
"Lee" Zuko muttered out how cover name
"Yknow Lee, I hear the captain is eating like a king while we're stuck eating all his left overs" he paused "want to help me... liberate some food rations?"
It didn't take much to convince Zuko to join him. They liberated the food quickly without getting caught. Zuko found himself wandering the the front of the lower deck, leaning on the railing. "You know, as soon as I saw your scar, I knew exactly who you were" he paused as he approached Zuko "youre a refugee, like me. Thing is though, I've never seen hair like yours, let along your eyes."
Jet reached out and brushed Zuko's hair out of his face. "The freedom fighters could use a starlight like you, what do you say?"
Zuko smacked Jets hand away gently "thanks, but no thanks, you don't want me on your team, trust me"
In Ba Sing Se Iroh and Zuko made a life for themselves. They managed to have their own tea shop and apartment. Things were doing great, until Zuko went after the Avatar's bison, mind you he went there originally to take the bison captive, but when he saw that the creature was hurt he sheathed his swords and removed his mask, letting his golden hair free as he approached the bison "hey buddy, are you okay?" His voice was much softer than usual "oh no, here let me help you, this is going to hurt and I'm sorry, but I need to pull out this thorn" he talked to him the whole time he was pulling out thorns, gently rubbing the fur near it to sooth him.
When he pulled all of the thorns out he took out his swords "alright buddy, dont worry about the swords, im going to use them to cut you out of these chains, shhh its okay, you're okay" he continued to talk him through each of the six shackles "there we go big guy, now you need to get out of here, go find your friends- ah! Hey!" Appa knocked him over and gave him a thanks with a big sloppy dog like lick across his torso and face before taking off.
"You did well my nephew" Zuko shot up at his uncle's voice
"Uncle?" His startled voice wavered
"Now lets get you out of here and back home." And that they did.
When they made it back to their apartment Zuko felt dizzy, he held his head in his hand "I dont feel good" he managed to get out before collapsing and breaking a vase
"Zuko!" Iroh shouted as he rushed to his nephew to make sure he didnt hurt himself on any broken glass.
In his Angst coma Sokka heard his mother singing
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me Happy! When skies are grey. You'll never know dear, how much I love you, so please don't hide my sunshine away"
His sisters voice mocked his hair "youre hair makes you look like a dandelion, a weed can't take the throne!" Her cackling filled his ears.
There was a blinding light and a woman appeared with flowing gold hair and bright fire eyes "my dear star, why do you let yourself hurt so much?"
"I don't, who are you?"
"I'm Agni my dear, you do know I chose you right?"
"Why?"
"You are special my dear, your mother made sure to get my attention and I am so glad she did" the woman spoke as she placed her hand on his cheek. Filling him with the image of her reaching out to kiss his eyes as a baby. "You are meant for great things little star." Her voice faded as she herself did
He soon woke from his coma with a fresh breath. Taking charge in making sure his Uncle's tea shop did well, and helping him where he could. However Azula soon found them and summoned them to the palace under the guise of serving tea to the king. Things didnt end well and Zuko was thrown into a cave beneath the City with Katara.
"Why would they throw you in here!" Her angry and hurt voice filled his ears as he tried not to make her feel more uncomfortable by staying as far from her as possible.
when she mentioned her mother he turned around and spoke "thats something we have in common"
"What?"
"My mother was my only source of safety... she was the only one who defended me against my sister and my father. And one day my father was ordered to... do something terrible and my mother protected me somehow, I dont know what happened but when I was half awake she told me goodbye and when I fully woke up she was gone."
When they were separated and Azula had Iroh trapped she approached "Zuko, nows your chance to come home. Help me defeat the avatar and you can come home. Without inking your hair. Isnt this what you've always wanted? You'll have your honor back, you'll have fathers love back"
And despite all he had gone through he still chose the path of returning to his father. When he did return his father wanted to dye his hair but Azula spoke up against it "father, if I may. Zuko's hair is a symbol of the fire goddess Agni, if he were to take the thrown it'd be best to show that she has chosen him"
"Yes, that is true. Alright, off with you two"
Reuniting with Mai wasnt smooth, she confessed to him that her and Ty Lee connected and while he was saddened he just smiled "I'm glad you two are with eachother, you work well"
On the day of Black sun, with the information he had learned from Iroh and armed with the fact that his father was practically powerless without his bending. He approached him.
"Zuko, what are you doing here?"
"Im here to tell the truth"
Ozai let out a snort "telling the truth during an eclipse?" He waved off his gaurds "what do you have to say"
"First of all, Azula lied to you, she was the one who shot down the avatar"
"What?! Why would she lie about that?"
"Because the avatars not dead, he's probably leading this invasion right now"
"Get out! Get out if you know what's good for you!"
"Thats another thing, I'm not taking orders from you anymore"
"You will obey me or face the consequences!" As Ozai stood Zuko drew his dual swords and took a stance
"Think again. I am going to speak my mind and you are going to listen"
He went on to question his father "you knew Agni chose me as a child and that was the reason my hair turned gold. You knew this and yet you hid that from the world, you darkened my hair for years, and you have the gull to tell me I was lucky to be born. You! The tyrannical leader set out to destroy the world. you! My own father challenged me to an Agni Kai just for speaking out of term, how could you possibly justify a duel with a child!"
"It was to teach you respect!"
"It was cruel and it was wrong"
"Then you have learned nothing!"
"No! I've learned everything, and I've had to do most of it on my own" he paused "Growing up we were taught that the war was our nations way of spread joy, what an incredible lie that was, the other nations don't love us, they fear us, and they are right to fear us, we've brought the world to an era of hate and suffering, now we need to fill it with one of peace and joy"
"Your uncle has gotten to you hasnt he" Ozai laughed
"Yes, he has, and I've come to another decision, im going to join the avatar, and im going to help him take you down."
After announcing this he turned to leave but stayed to learn about what happened to his mother
"She's alive?" He said in a soft voice as a single golden tear rolled down his cheek
"Perhaps," Ozai paused "now i see that banishment is far too small of a punishment for treason" he said as he gathered lightning and shot it at Zuko who quickly redirected it right back at him before escaping.
After finding that Iroh had broken out of prison Zuko fled the firenation in a small war ballon and followed the Avatar's Sky bison to the western air temples. Their first encounter didn't go so well and he managed to burn Toph's feet but after helping them defeat the assassin and managing to form his words more properly and giving a genuine apology to Toph he was on the team.
Some time after joining and managing to break Sokka's dad, Suki and Chit Sang out of prison they were all sitting around the fire. "So.. uhm Zuko" Aang started
Zuko turned to look at him "yeah?"
"I have to ask, pretty bunch nobody in the firenation has golden blonde hair right?" Zuko absentmindedly ran his fingers through his hair at the question
"Yeah, and when you were first chasing us your hair was black, whats up with that?" Sokka added
"Oh, uh, well my hair was always dyed black because my father doesn't like my gold hair..." he paused "when I was born, I was sick, so sick that my parents thought I was going to die. But my mother pleaded with Agni to spare me, she took me to the sun worship alter in the palace gardens at sunset and held me up, pleading. When the last ray of light from Agni, my hair turned golden and I began to cry. So, in a sense the sun gave me my life"
"Like Yue!" Sokka piped up
"Like who?"
"Princess Yue! She was born sick just like you, and the moon spirit saved her. Well, she's the moon spirit now"
"Woah woah wait, is this the girlfriend you said turned into the moon?"
"Yep!"
"Well, just don't go falling for Zuko now, dont want to have your first boyfriend turn into the sun" Suki teased him
"Hey, at least I'd have a full set of spirit lovers"
Zuko's face turned beet red and the group laughed at him. Over the next few weeks of them being in close quarters Zuko found that he was growing feelings for the water tribe boy. Anytime he'd look at him he felt his stomach do a flip. But he didnt have time to think about his feelings.
Even though the sun touched prince tried not to think about Sokka on the mission with Katara, he couldn't help it. When they were returning Katara piped up "I know you like him" she paused to watch his surprised face "its okay you know, its fine if you like him. I dont have like you to let my brother like you. I may be cold to you but im not a monster like your father" she tied off the sentence by staring off "and besides, if Agni chose you, I think you would be safe for Sokka"
When they got back he heard sokka shout "You're back! Thank La youre safe!" Turning to Katara he expected to see Sokka running to hug his sister. Instead he was tackled to the ground with a hug from Sokka "how did it go Katara?" He asked from the ground while quite literally snuggling into Zuko with this hug that was still very much happening.
"I found him, and he was just so pathetic, i couldnt kill him"
Sokka then stood up and helped Zuko to his feet and placed a quick sneaky kiss to his cheek before moving to hug his sister, leaving Zuko frozen in confusion. He remained frozen until Suki came up to him "he's trying to confess silently, he's weird like that, corner him later if you want to hear an actual confession"
He however didn't manage to corner the now seemingly overly flirty blue boy until they were at ember Island. It wasnt until just before bed when Sokka was walking past Zuko's bedroom door. He reached out grabbed Sokka's shirt and yanked him into the room before slamming the door shut and pinning him to it. "What are you doing?"
"Wh-what do you mean? You're the one who dragged me into your room, what are you doing?"
"Dont play dumb with me Sokka, you've been flirting with me since I got back from my trip with your sist-"
"Actually ive been flirting with you since the temples, you just didn't notice until I kissed you"
"You mean until you missed"
"What?"
Zuko smirked "you missed" he mumbled before leaning closer "you went for a kiss but you missed"
They ended up spending the night sharing a room and a bed. When the morning sun peaked through the windows Zuko curled back into sokka who in turn pulled him closer. Both refusing to wake up until Katara knocked on the door and opened it "breakfast is ready, if you two love birds want some warm food you better hury and I better not see any hickeys"
"Ugh! Katara we just cuddled!" Sokka said as he burried his face in Zuko's hair.
Katara simply laughed "alright, but still, hury up."
When the day of the comet came and Zuko had to separate from Sokka he saw the worry in his blue eyes "Ive got this Sokka, Agnj chose me remembe, besides, I've got Katara with me and she's powerful" he placed a quick kiss to Sokka's lips "go take down those ships, and I'll see you by the timd the sun rises tomorrow."
And he was right, even though he was shot with lightning and Sokka broke his leg they both came out of the battle alive and together. When Zuko woke up to find Sokka curled up against him he smiled and let out a soft breath of pink fire. Relief.
"Woah, do that again" Sokka's groggy 'just woke up' voice rumbled against his shoulder
"Sorry I didn't mean to wake you, do you mean this?" He let out another breath of fire, this time a pale purple
"I didn't know you could do other colors of fire"
"Well, I couldn't until I went to the sunwarriors, Agni spoke to me there"
After Zuko's Coronation the firenation began righting their wrongs. It was a long struggle for sure. However two years into his reign with Sokka having practically moved in he found that he would soon have a partner to help him through these struggles.
The day had only just begun but Sokka was dragging Zuko to the turtleduck pond where they often sat together to simply relax. Sokka seemed a little antsy this time though "what's wrong Sokka?"
"Uhm, well, I have something I need to ask you," he paused and reached into his pocket while sinkning down to one knee. Zuko's breath caught in his throat as he saw Sokka pull out a betrothal becklace, the band was made with a fine red silk and the center piece was gold with a carving of a sun with a wave inside of it. "Zuko," he took a shaky breath "you've been by my side for two years now, you've held my hand through war and peace, quite literally, and you've done so while loving me whole heartedly. I can't imagine my life without you in it." Zuko could feel golden tears threatening to fall fram his molten eyes "Zuko, will you marry me?"
"Yes!" He heard himself responding before he could even think "Agni, yes Sokka, of course I'll marry you!"
Sokka moved from his kneeling position to lifting Zuko up into a kiss, holding him right under his rear. Zuko held his face in his hands as he pressed his lips to Sokka's as he was lifted up quite unceremoniously.
Once he was set down Sokka helped him put on the betrothal necklace. He reached up to touch the Golden pendant and smiled up at Sokka with gold tears falling down his cheeks.
Their marraige was held not long after, joining the southern water tribe and the firenation in a strong Union with a mixed culture wedding blues, silvers, reds and golds filled the wedding and reception as well as suns and moons.
Agni smiled down on the wedding that day, her chosen sunshine found his moon.
Yue smiled on them that night as they stood on the balcony holding one another. The boy who protected her finally found his light.
>Woo boy that was a long one! I sure hope you enjoyed it!<

FFXIV Write Day 6: Avatar
Summary: Eulmore has captured its most hated villain. If they want you to be the Warrior of Darkness so badly, then perhaps you will oblige them.
Author’s note: AU thing (I guess?) where WoL is captured by Eulmore having defeated maybe two or three Lightwardens? I’m not sure. Also it’s definitely more AUish in that WoL can better channel the power of the light. I just like the idea of using the dark to filter it– sort of moon-like. I don’t know where this came from but it felt like a neat idea, even if I could only manage a small snippet of what feels like could be a larger whole.
Warnings: Shadowbringers spoilers, some violence, unspecified/ambiguous WoL/D, not dark knight main but dips into it, playing a little bit loose with aether/magic abilities

“Is the food not to your liking?”
Vauthry is a disgusting man taking advantage of people within and without his city and yet treating you to a saccharine tone like an honored dinner guest. And, as a most exceptional dinner guest, you are sat next to General Ran’jit and attended by no less than eight guards with various sharp objects just waiting for you to breathe wrong.
The situation doesn’t tend to work up much of an appetite.
“I don’t eat food prepared by people I don’t trust,” you say.
“Oh come now. If I wanted you dead, you already would be,” Vauthry says and takes a long swig of his wine.
He would think that. But if you hadn't had to sacrifice yourself to keep Ran’jit from getting Minfilia, you wouldn’t be here, and you know that. “Why am I alive then?” you ask. “I loathe you and I’m fairly certain the feeling must be mutual, given how far you’ve gone to keep me from killing the other monsters blighting this world.”
“No no no,” he says and sets his goblet aside. “You are simply…misguided. The Crystal Exarch has been feeding you lies and false promises, but I will teach you the truth. Here, have some wine; it will relax you.”
“No thank you,” you say, words clipped as you remember the last time you had a glass. Trauma aside, if someone wanted to poison Vauthry, you don’t think you’d mind.
“Stubborn.” His voice is barely raised but he slams a hand upon the table, making everything on it jump. “How will it serve you to deny me? You are here whether you like it or not; if you submitted to me I would make you a citizen of this city. Do you have any idea what people are willing to do for such an honor?”
“I do,” you say. “And if they truly knew what they were walking into you would be left with no sacrifices to your petulant temper.”
He stares at you for several moments– potentially you used too many big words– before he bears his teeth, shouts, and slams his fist against the table a few more times before grabbing a meol loaf and thrusting it at your face. “I’ve had enough– eat!”
You lean back but he presses forward. “Eat, damn you!” he says and pushes it against your face as you can lean away no more with hands holding you in place. You turn your head to get away from the bread that the light inside you reacts to. You don’t know what that means but it feels wrong in a way that turns your insides. However Vauthry is bearing down on you and he reaches in with his other hand to hold your nose.
So you oblige him.
Your teeth sink in to the base of his thumb and he howls. His flesh is pale, putrid, spongy…
…sickeningly familiar.
He rips himself away, leaving you with a tainted taste of sour blood just before the guard rips you out of your chair, slams you to the ground, and descends upon you.
By the end of their assault you wouldn’t claim to have much dignity left, bleeding on the floor as you are, but Vauthry is still whimpering about his bandaged hand so by comparison you’d say you’re doing all right.
There’s a knock on the door and Vauthry composes himself. “What is it!” he barks.
The door opens. “M-my lord,” the servant whimpers. “The- the Crystal Exarch is at the gates. In his words he demands an audience with you, to speak of the wrongful imprisonment of his warrior– his words, not mine!”
“Feh.” Vauthry sneers down at you. You let your eyes close and continue to steel yourself for what is to come. “I’m half-tempted to throw you from an airship and watch you break at his feet. But you may be of use yet. You– bind and bring them. You– tell the guard the Crystal Exarch is hereby an enemy of Eulmore and is to be executed on sight.”
The servant confirms his orders in the most simpering way possible and Ran’jit, finally, speaks up. “My lord, we need not truly negotiate, but we could make him return Minfili–”
“I don’t care about the girl,” Vauthry spits out. And then literally spits. “We have the Warrior of Darkness and the Crystal Exarch’s futile plans will never succeed without them. The girl will fight and die like all the others and a new one will be born. You can have the next reincarnation; the current one is too much trouble.”
“…My lord,” Ran’jit says, somehow deferential and seething with rage both.
As your hands are chained behind your back you feel a familiar calm settle into your bones and seep through your blood. Warrior of Darkness indeed. For a while the title didn’t feel right; you were a Warrior of Light taking the power of the light and everything about you felt too bright and burning. The Warrior of Darkness was a convenient title– a children’s story, a religious figure, and you felt sacrilegious ever even thinking about taking the mantle.
But now. Now the light is dimming as you allow an old friend back into the shadows of your mind and you feel yourself deaden to the world with only Fray’s echoing chuckle in your ear, even as you are dragged to your feet and paraded out to a terrified populace. Vauthry speaks to his people to– inspire them? Cow them? You aren’t truly paying attention. Not until he turns to you and asks, “And what would you say for yourself, villain?”
You look amongst the crowd, making sure not to linger on familiar faces. They don’t feel wrong, they don’t feel deserving of your wrath, and so this is not the place to make your stand. And you’re not a politician. Not an inspired speaker. However the things you have been through have given you just enough experience to know how to stir people. For better or for worse.
“Night is coming whether you like it or not,” you say. A little pull, a little pitch-black glamour, and all across the room you drape all the aether you can muster to…‘turn off the lights,’ so to speak. There are a few shrieks and shouts, and a chorus of gasps– even from Vauthry himself. You look right at him. “So you had best get used to the dark.”
---
“By the Twelve, you’re a right mess.”
You crack open one eye. The other one is too swollen to budge. “Thancred?” you ask with a throat too dry to nearly speak. “What are you doing here?”
He scoffs and starts picking open one of the manacles. This is unexpected– and entirely too soon; you haven’t yet healed enough from the last beating to carry out your plans. “I got in here once already; you can’t think they’d keep me out now?” There’s a clicking sound and Thancred works with more careful motions. “I’ve simply been awaiting my opportunity. Nice little lightshow, by the way; it–”
“Thancred, did you find–” Alphinaud’s gasp is joined by another and both twins exclaim your name.
“I’m all right,” you say as Alphinaud’s healing magic begins to settle into you. It prickles, but after a few moments you can blink open both your eyes, and open and close your now-free fist. Perhaps everything can go ahead as planned.
Alisaie watches you sharply, and when you’re unshackled and healed up enough to start walking towards a collection of old weaponry, she says your name warily. “We should go.”
“Not yet. There’s something I have to do,” you say and dig through the pile until you find a greatsword.
“My friend you are barely healed,” Thancred says and holds out his hands. “We must return to the Crystarium and regroup.”
“We won’t get a chance like this again.” You give the sword a few swings. It’s far from perfect, but it will do. Until you find a guard with a better one. You turn towards your friends. “You don’t have to come with me.”
They look like they might refuse. Thancred looks like he might try to bash you over the head and just steal away, but whether he relents because he wants to or because he senses he can’t win, you aren’t sure. Either way he shrugs and smiles. “Very well,” he says. “Just answer me honestly, my friend– are you certain you feel well enough for this?”
“Yes. In fact…” You turn towards them, light pulsing beneath your skin and ready to be unleashed with the darkness already gathering. Stars and moonlight, there is a place for it, and you will show it where to go. “For the first time, I feel right.”

AVATAR GOING HUNTING NYC 9/3
It has finally happened, y’all!  Concerts are back in my life and I am more than thrilled about it.  Last night was the first concert I’ve been to since February 13, 2020 so over a year and a half when I’m used to maybe 3 months at most between concerts.  Felt so SO good to be back at it and see concert fam folks again!
My comeback was with the incomparable metal band Avatar who I first saw in 2019 when they toured with Babymetal and I had no clue who they were.  How things have changed since then.  Now without any further ado, I give you how the day went.
I sadly had to go to work in the morning but I left at noon and made it to Irving Plaza around 1:40.  I was really worried that I was going to have a horrible spot in line and thus have to hide in the back or along the walls to avoid the mosh pits but I ended up being only the 7th person in line.  I had GA ticket and was the first person in line for that. Between already knowing some of the folks there and spending the next 6 hours making friends with them, I ended up being promised they would help me get as close to front row as they could get me which was AMAZING.
Doors opened actually on time and we were able to get into the venue pretty quickly!  I ended up SECOND ROW for this show DEAD CENTER.  An intense place to be but so very amazing.
Touring with Avatar are two other bands, Tallah and Magic Sword.  Tallah performed first with about 5 songs.  I’m always completely unfamiliar with the bands touring with folks so I didn’t know this group either.  And they aren’t bad but not a group I will go out of my way to listen to again.  Drummer kicked ass though, apparently he only joined the band as a replacement drummer 2 months ago and he killed it.  The singer has the ability to do splits but that’s the only thing about him I think I like.  The other members of the band were just as memorable as their songs, which is to say, not at all.
Next was Magic Sword.  That group is a trio, of drummer, guitarist, and keyboardist.  They were amazing, 10 out of 10.  If you can get the chance to see them in concert, I beg of you to do so.  That said, I can’t say I’ll be listening to their music again unless it’s live because they don’t have a vocalist and I like to be able to sing/rap along with music unless it is loud enough I can feel it in every single cell of my body, which is what Magic Sword delivered.  Only bad thing to happen here was the crowd was starting to be...less than sober...and the person behind me spilled a quarter of their beer down my ass, right into the pocket where my phone was.  I was less than thrilled with this person and was thankful they traded places with their friend for Avatar’s set because the second person was kinder and actually made conversation with us a little bit and apologized for how drunk they both were.
The stage was cleared after Magic Sword performed probably 6 or 7 songs? I can’t tell for sure since their songs do seem to run on the longer side so I may have split a song that is actually one into two.  And then it was time for the reason I was there, the main event: AVATAR.
The roadies came out and set up the stage for them with a very different setup than ANY of us expected. There was a projector screen blocking most of our view but we could see three mic stands set up in the front middle, the usual lights and drumset in the back, and then another drumset on stageright next to the microphones.
After many attemted Avatar chants and false alarms from the crew, the band came out.  They all lined up, John at the front drumset, Henrik, Johannes, Jonas, and Tim in that order filled in the microphones set up.  They all stood looking dead ahead, barely blinking, for a few moments of us screaming before jumping into the first two songs of the night, Colossus and Let it Burn.  They performed Colossus without moving or smiling or anything, they looked like robots so so perfectly.  They held the positions for what felt like a full minute or two with Henrik trying so so hard to not smile, I could see the corner of his mouth twitching.  He looked so happy to be here the whole night!
The lights went down after those 2 songs and they took off the front drumset and changed the microphones back to the usual ones that they can kick up and spread them to give them all more space.  When they did, a drumstick dropped on the ground and got left behind so a friend of mine got the venue staff to pick it up and hand it to her! She got a drum stick from Tallah, too I believe.
Next came SIlence in the Age of Apes, Bloody Angel, (Johannes said he thinks of all of us as his) Child (ren), and The Eagle Has Landed.  This is where things started getting a LOT more intense in the crowd.  I could feel the crowd moving more behind me in Apes so I could tell that there was a mosh pit that was at least starting out by then and by Bloody Angel, people were crowd surfing.  At least one person per song would come crashing over us for the rest of the show and I didn’t really love it.  I was scared the whole time a foot was gonna come crashing into my head or a staff member was gonna punch me in the nose AGAIN to keep me from getting a foot in the head. which yes, the dude full-on punched me in the nose to catch a foot that swerved away from my head and into the person in front of me instead.  An adventure of a moment.
Everyone went off-stage for a few minutes except for Johannes who took a moment to greet us and thank us all for coming  He was in his full glory the whole night, that cocky grin glued to his face and a manic joy in his eyes that was genuine happiness to be back in front of a crowd after so long.  He gave us some kind of witty (but obvious if you know song names) intro into the next set of songs and the rest of the band came back out.
(Insert quirky pun her) Paint it Red, Secret Door, Swarm, Torn Apart.  This was the period of time when I could barely keep my eyes off of Tim because he looked so giddy half the time.  Either making faces to tease us or just looking around himself in amazement.  More moshing pushing us around and crowd surfers kicking us in the head but oh-so amazing.
Then came the grand piano being carried on stage.  No, it wasn’t actually a grand piano, it was a keyboard put into a wood frame to look like a shrunken down grand piano so it looked real but was able to be lifted by three or four people and carried on stage.  Johannes sat down and seranaded us with Gun and I have not hated being in an American crowd so much before in my life.  Every time I would start to get into the emotions of the song, someone would shout something hardly intelligible because they were so far away or it would be someone screaming “I LOVE AVATAR!” Made me so so so annoyed but Johannes was smiling so I tried to ignore it and let it go.
The piano was taken away and the rest of the band came back to perform Going Hunting.  And lemme just tell you that it was an honor to be in the third ever audience to hear that song performed live.  It hits all the right feels to kick ass live and at home so I hope people are loving it.
Johannes thanked us for tuning in and making their streamed Dream concerts happen in Avataruary.  He said it gave them all a chance to reflect and think about the songs they haven’t performed in years, leading them to their self-titled album, leading us Deeper Down.  This song was actually one I don’t know if I’ve listened to before, I’ve kind of stuck with the 4 albums I really like and haven’t branched out much.  But it slaps hard.
Next it was time for us to worship our king.  Everyone but Kungen left stage and he looked at us like we were ants beneath his feet, barely worthy of being acknowleged while the roadies came and changed his guitar and gave him his royal attire.  Kungen slowly started playing the intro and Tim joined him, standing back to back and both of them looking gorgeous while everyone else slowly joined them on stage to build up A Statue of the King.  They followed that with zero comments jumping immediately into The King Welcomes You to Avatar Country.  Both of those songs are so effing hype that when they all just walked off stage after, I was shook.
I think this was when Johannes started getting a little sappy with us in his comment.  He said they’d all agreed that they wouldn’t get emotional on us but he had to take a minute and thank us all for being back here with them.  And the way he knows that we’re really back together is because even though we all look so different we all *snifs armpits* smell the same.  We all Smell Like a Freakshow.  I don’t know if it’s just me but it felt like we were all saving up energy for this song and went absolutely feral.  I used up almost all the energy I had left so I just did the bare minumum for Wormhole right after.  Moved just enough to avoid getting hit in the head with someone else’s head.
Then for what I think was only the second time all night, everybody went off stage.  Every other time, Johannes has stuck around and chatted while the others were gone but he left too.  They did a quick little outfit change behind the scenes I think, Johannes came back on with his overalls undone so clearly he was hot.  And, you know, a warm temperature as well. Yup.
And just like that, as though 3 hours hadn’t passed since the first band started, it was time for the last song of the night.  It was time to Hail the Apocalypse.  This song is the only song I know for sure they performed the last time I saw them live and I feel like it only gets better the more I hear it.  They could make a 10 minute version of it and I would still be asking for more.
They went off-stage for a second and everyone put down their instruments and came back without anything and just let us cheer for them.  They gave us a little bow and then started saying thank you and waving good bye.  I saw Tim say “I love you” at the crowd and I think John and Jonas both blew kisses at us.
And then it was over.  They left the stage, the lights came up in the house, we all made sure everyone was okay from all the flying feet that came at us, and the venue staff told us it was time to go home.  I had friends going the same way I was so I was able to keep the magic going for a little while longer before I started my journey home alone.
These guys are all so amazing and I am so lucky I got to fall in love with them the way I did.  And I am so happy to have the friends I’ve made at this show and every other show I’ve been to.  It was an amazing way to get back to concerts, starting it off with a bang.  I have blisters, bruises, and sore everything but I would do it all again tonight if only I could.  It is now time to start counting down the days till I follow Miyavi around for a week on tour in October!
THANK YOU FOR TAKING ME HUNTING, AVATAR! Glory to Our King!
The setlist was given to my my friend. All other photographs are taken by yours truly

The palace was HUGE. Everyone always spoke of palaces as giant places but you've never been in one this big! Golden walls reflected light onto beautyful carved columns connecting the impossibly high ceiling with marble floor. On every turn there was either a tapestry or stairway to a big balcony with gorgeous view of the golden city below.
Evrytime you let out a gasp or your eyes wondered around the room you were walking through the queen softly chuckled at your side. She showed you a big part of the palace, since you will be living here for few weeks and no one would like you to get lost in one of the neverending hallways.
Finally she lead you out of the palace to top of some coloseum-like building. All around you sat men and women dressed in silky or leather clothes. They were watching what was happening bellow them. Down on the bottom there were few pairs combating. Either hand to hand, sword to sword or other weapon you've never seen before.
With a hand on your back she lead you down towards the fighters. People bowed to her as you both passed them. You heard few of them whisper about the 'dirty girl with unfitting clothes by the Allmother's side'. You turned towards the whisperers and smiled cheekily at them, letting them know you heard them and you couldn't care less about what they had to tell you. Even though you felt a little selfconscious thanks to them.
Queen walked you towards a particular group of fighters, two of them you already knew. Thor, if you remember correctly, and his brother were sitting on a nearby bench with two more men. One of them was twice as big as you with messy ginger hair and bushy beard, the other had black hair tied in a tight ponytail. They were laughing and cheering for two of their friends. Another blond man with slight facial hair combating with a brown haired girl. The girl pinned him down with her knee on his back and twisted his arm backwards.
"Come on Fandral! Are you really going to let a girl beat you?!" you heard Thor shouting.
Frigga coughed to announce her presence before Fandral could respond. Both of the warriors stood up and brushed the dust from their clothes. The rest of the group stood up and bowed. "Allmother."
Thor and his brother, however, didn't bow. They just walked over to you two. "Greetings mother," hold on, MOTHER?! THOSE TWO ARE PRINCES?!
"This is Astrid. She will be staying with us for a little while. Be kind to her," queen introduced you. You waved at them with a timid smile.
One of the princes stepped closer to you. "So, looks like you are feeling better, little traveler," the younger brother gestured to your bandaged hand.
You nodded. "It's getting better."
He smiled at you, almost relieved.
Then nudged his brother with his elbow. "What-? Oh! Yeah, right," the Thunderer caughed. "I apologize for striking you with a lightning bolt. I won't do it again," he gave a 'are you happy now?' look to his brother. He just rolled his eyes.
"Okay, apology accepted."
"Wait, YOU were the one who hurt her?" Fandral stared at Thor.
"Fandral, not now."
"Oh for Norn's sake," the girl pushed her way through boys towards you. "Hello, my name is Sif. Ignore those dunderheads."
"Who do you call a dunderhead?!" the ginger giant asked, even though it sounded more like a roar with his booming voice.
Sif turned towards him. "Do you want to taste the dirt just like Fandral?"
".....no."
You chuckled at their little banter.
Frigga hugged you around shoulders. "Seems like you don't need me anymore. They will keep you company and show you the rest of Asgard. And who knows, maybe you will find a trusted friend among them," she winked and waved goodbye to her two sons and their friends.
You turned towards them, fidgeting with your fingers. What are you going to say? Are you supposed to say something? Will you just let them ask whatever they want to know and you will answer?
The younger prince decided to end your internal suffering. "I think we owe you our names at least. You already know Sif," he gestured at her and she winked. "This blind oaf is my brother Thor."
"Blind?" you asked.
Raven haired boy grinned. "He-"
"It's an inside joke! Right?" Thor adressed his brother treatingly.
"Right. Then we have Fandral, Hogun and Volstagg," one by one they either waved at you or grinned. Fandral even winked.
"And I am Loki," he offered his hand for you to shake.
"A-astrid," you took it hesitantly. He gave you a look. You couldn't read it was a good or a bad one.
You shrugged it quickly when Thor launched forward at you and took your hand in his big rough one. "Such a pretty girl, traveling the world. You must be desperatly lonely. No worries my sweet, I will not take a step away from you," he winked at you, a seductive smile grew on his lips. He brought your hand towards them. You quickly pulled your hand back and behind yourself.
"I'm just fine on my own, thanks," you blurted before you could stop yourself. Will they behead you for saying no to a prince?
Loki chuckled. "She's a feisty one. I like that."
Apparently no.
"Hey, Astrid," Sif tried to pull you away from them. "Can I ask you something?"
'Bet she will ask where I am from' "Sure."
"Do you know how to fight?"
You didn't expect that. "No, not really."
You felt Loki's eyes on you again. And the same look he gave you before.
"Hmm, what a pitty," she detached herself from your side. "Alright, who wants to go next?" she cracked her nuckles and grabbed a long sword from a nearby bench.
Thor grabbed his own and rolled his shoulders. "You are going down."
~~~
She didn't go down. Not even an hour later. Loki didn't bother to show off his muscles like Thor's friends in front of you. Throughout the whole training he was wondering only one thing: why did you lie? If you were a fighter, why not showing it? And your true name? What was with the cracked bracelet of yours? And how did you get here without using bifrost?
So many questions.... Loki WILL find an answer. He always does.
"Our little companion seems bored," Hogun noted.
And sure enough, you were drawing circles into the dirt with the tip of your boot. When you realized they were talking about you, your head shot up. "What?"
"I said you seem bored."
"No, I'm just... Sometimes I get lost in my thoughts. That's all."
You really aren't a good liar.
"You are bored. And honestly, I would be too if I was thrown into your situation. What do you suggest we do?" Loki asked.
"I have an idea," Thor interrupted. "Let's show you Asgard!" he started pushing you out of the training area. And as always, everyone had to do what Thor wanted.
They walked you around the biggest beauties, the most outstanding views in the city. Thor was proudly pointing at building after building as if he was the one who build them. Loki was the only one to notice your unease. How you shy away from people, avoid going into crowded places, how you always try to hide behind them.
'You didn't like being in the city' Loki concluded.
"-and that is where the best beer and mead is made. How do you like your temporary home so far?" Thor asked hopefully.
"It's nice?" that was more of a question than answer.
"Didn't I tell you? He is blind," Loki scoffed. "Blind towards the fact you do not like crowds and attention. And since you still have your traveling clothes on," he tugged at your shirt, "you are attracting way more attention than you would like. Correct?"
"Yes, actually."
"Here is my proposition to you: for the rest of the day, we will go anywhere you want. How does it sound?" he smiled charmingly, hoping to see you blush. He wanted to know what makes you tick.
"That would be very kind of you," no blush, but a sweet, grateful smile. He could work with that.
Rest of the group sighed. "Alright Astrid, where do you want to go?"
"Can we go to the forrest? Please?"
"Forrest? Seriously?" Sif whined.
"What? Scared you might get lost again?" Volstagg nudged her.
"For your information, we were nine and it was Loki who told me to go right if I want to see a roe!" she pointed her sharp finger towards the trickster.
Loki shrugged. "Not my fault you scared her away and got lost," he turned to you, "I like the way you think. I can show you the most beautiful lily ponds and the most colourful flowers as well," he dropped the volume of his voice a little, "and some poisonious plants if those fools start to get on your nerves."
To his surprise, a mischevious smirk grazed your features. "I like the way you think."
