I was talking with my room mate about potential plot lines for my Trigun Dragon AU, and it came up that since dragons are not typically depicted wearing clothes that Knives would probably be anti-clothes, treating them as an absurd humanoid expectation.

Of course he never considers that maybe Vash just likes to wear clothes.

i hate myself for wanting her to care about me but i can't help it. yesterday, i got home one hour late and mother didn't notice. my uncle called her to apologize bc he was supposed to pick me up but he forgot completely. did she care? no. actually she keeps talking to me like i'm overreacting for being upset about it, but ffs. it was 11pm, complete dark and i was gen worried a man would try to kidnap and rape me. ofc i'm upset, ofc i was scared. the minimum she could do was to show sympathy because when he (my uncle) does that with her, she throws THE tantrum. but no, ofc not, why would she care right. i'm just her child, nothing important

There’s that post that’s like ‘everyone should get into a tiny niche fandom at least once’ fully agree, that was really fun -- but I would like to add that everyone should get into a fandom where their opinions run counter to major fanon because it really teaches you about sticking to your guns and trusting your interpretation of the text without having to rely on peer validation
