i went to the Terrible Influence Tour in Phoenix on sunday, which was my first time going to a tour ever, and had a blast!! :D somehow dan and phil are even more funny and endearing irl if that’s possible

(standing outside for an hour in almost 100 degree weather was worth it honestly, i honestly barely noticed bc i was so excited. at least it was in the shade thankfully)

i got to go the the preshow q&a which was so much fun, i ended up recording some but not all of it.

the vip silver merch included w the ticket had a tote bag, a 5-pack of photocards w a guaranteed shiny, a dnp lanyard, a “very important phan” friendship bracelet, and a small poster! (there was also a very nice phannie there giving out friendship bracelets, if anyone knows who they were lmk!!)

there were special dan and phil cocktails (and “good influence” lemonades) which dnp had ofc, it may have made the show slightly better lmao. the cocktails were both very good and they all came with cool glow straws :3

my favorite songs on their preshow playlist were Starburned and Unkissed by Caroline Polachek which was made for the I Saw The TV Glow soundtrack (i know they picked this for their trans audience, ps watch isttvg if u haven’t please), Lunch by Billie Eilish (iconic for the bis), and Hot To Go which most of the audience was singing and dancing along to ofc (u can see this on the phoenix celebrity theatre’s insta story from that day)

What can I say, it's utter trash but there is something about the main couple I love. A Thai pulp that felt like it came out 5 yrs ago with many of the flaws inherent to that time and studio system, including manufactured angst and convoluted plot, but an ultimately sweet main couple that (as a pairing) feels a bit more modern and is satisfying to watch. This will probably go down in history as one of the few BLs where I genuinely didn’t care about any of the side couples.

6 Big Dragon

I didn't love this when it first aired but I am coming around to it more on the rewatch. (I may even up its score from 7 to 8 if the eventual movie sticks the landing). This is a pairing that proved itself to be a lot more sophisticated than I expected with nods at kink in a more respectful way than Mame could ever dream, plus excellent chemistry.

7 Why R U? Korea

The Korean remake of Why RU? is BOTH bizarro land, and EXACTLY what I expected. There is something comforting in watching the Cliff's notes version of a show I enjoyed before just in a different BL style. I don't know why I like this one so much, but I really do.

8 Takara & Amagi

I gnawed on my knuckles and squealed a lot with this show first time around. Now I still love it but I'm more calm. It is beyond charming: soft and gentle, packed with cuteness and high school angst, thirst, & yearning.

A truly lovely little coming of age high school BL with a classic YA low drama but high angst and an earnest depth.

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off: The Gay People

Okay so I watched the show a few days after it came out and there's some things I wanna talk about.

First off, I just wanna say I've never read the comics. I've seen the movie a couple of times and that's it.

But the show did the characters so much better. Really, it should've been a show from the very beginning, because you can't flesh out characters in two hours.

Anyway, let's talk about Wallace Wells. I like him in both the show and the movie, but there's something about his movie portrayal that kind of... grossed me out, to say the least. Yes, he's one of two gay characters in the main cast (hi Roxie), but it was super exaggerated. I don't know, it said he had a boyfriend and then he was sleeping with other guys the entire movie?? It was obviously supposed to be a joke. However, in the show, I think he hooks up with Todd (i love u episode 5) a few times and meets Mobile at the end, but that's it. And there's a reason they changed it.

Next, Roxie Richter. I saw someone make these connections about her, so I wanted to put it here. Yeah, in the movie, she's treated like a joke. Ramona writes her off by saying "it was just a phase" which was really fucked up to include in the movie. But in the show, not only is she a badass half-ninja, she's the first ex to make up with Ramona. Ramona actually apologizes for just leaving her like that, and we even get a backstory for them. Roxie makes up with her ex and then immediately makes out with Kim Pine before leaving, now all friendly, which is a pretty fucking cool exit.

Honorable mention: Todd Ingram. I fucking loved him in the show and he basically was just some random vegan guy in the movie. I'm so glad Wallace spread the Gay to him.

So yeah, as a gay person, this show made up for how lesbophobic the movie was.

Nobara Kugisaki - be so for real. I think she had a misplaced crush in her idolization of Saori that made more sense when she left the bumble fuck countryside and could live her best life, out and proud with her muscle mommy girlfriend, Maki. Also explains, a bit, why Saori was ostracized where Nobara may have lacked understanding/context.

Maki - Plenty of gay icons without last names, queen. This one just happens to also be gay.

Eijirou Kirishima is almost so straight that he unintentionally makes a hard U-turn into flirting with queerness. His phrasing is baffling as he tends to pop up in those threads frequently with assumingly unintended innuendos but it is also reminiscent about how no one third wheels harder than a dude's girlfriend when he's with his best friend? I don't know if that makes sense but I'm throwing him in the mix as someone who maybe just needs some time ✨ regardless of the BakuDeku to KiriMina parallels.

Denki Kaminari - This kid has eyes and he uses them, gender be damned. A bi-disaster if I've ever seen one.

Minoru Mineta - IDK if his Deku confession was a translation faux pas or if Mineta, too, has fallen for the male lead's quintessential charm that wins over hearts and minds. While the Council on Bisexuality would fight me on this one... his membership is still pending.

Izuku Midoriya - I have it on good authority that Izuku is Bakusexual. Flustered by girls in the same way that any awkward and bullied kid might when encountering the opposite sex but his heart has always had its allegiance to one person. Whether that makes him gay, demi or even bi, I think it tracks.

Katsuki Bakugo - bi, pan or gay, the consensus is he is Not Straight.

Kyoka Jiro - in Smash, Jiro is a total fujoshi (she just like us fr). If you'll allow submitting MHA Smash into evidence, coupled with the canon main story, I say bi. A girl who knows Momo is stacked but also reasonably wants the attention and company of a Class 1A boy as a girl would at that age.

2. Jeongyeon

if you have seen atleast some of the twice mvs, you know that jeongyeon somehow plays an important role in it.

especially her black dress in the MORE&MORE mv made me think, because I dont think it was because the stylists dont care about her or something.

the way she stands there way in the back, alone, the black dress making her seem like an outsider, maybe something raven-like?

maybe its a warning, jeongyeon has had some "different scenes" since what happened in the fancy mv.

so we know that she touched the rose, touching a Spike that makes her pull away her hand, looking at the camera as, maybe, a sign?

this reminds me of the sleeping beauty, if you dont know who it is let me give u a quick explanation:

2. SO SCANDALOUS

"-ess.. princess. wake up, we need to get ready. kacchans making pancakes right now."

grumbling, she turns over to look at her clock. it's 10:15am, izuku let her sleep in a bit. today, the class was going out to the mall then the arcade to have class bonding time. with everything that's gone on, from the USJ incident and the tension from the sports festival, to the fight with stain (where endeavor unfairly took credit, causing the girl to have a "slight" hatred for him), and even the final exams, having to go against All Might with Bakugo and Midoriya, it was just a lot to handle. they're just kids, and kids need breaks.

walking into the bathroom, the girl began her daily morning routine.

"damn.. i look ROUGH..!" she said as she looked in the mirror. her bonnet looked as if it was trying to run away, her tank top was all twisted up, right boob was up in russia while the left one stayed home in america. she had eye boogers all around and her angel bite piercings were no where to be found.

she slept good.

"you know what... let me just wash my face right now and i'll do everything else after i eat."

her face care routine consists of ; black african soap, witch hazel, hydration drops, and a bit of coco butter.

finishing up and putting away her stray boobs, she found one of bakugos stolen hoodies and made her way downstairs.

"I was able to rent the arcade from 6:15 to 10:30, food and drinks included, along with lazer tag , and we get the option of going in the bounce area, so when we get there just let me know."

"damn yaomomo... i knew you was stacked but DAMN!!"

"ong, bro's LOADED.."

"i'm calling you if i need to bailed out of jail."

"honestly guys it's not much, i just want us to have fun and relax as a class while being safe!" yaomomo said with a small smile on her face. she was literally loaded, like pockets so deep they could fit 3 gallons of milk each, pockets so swole they need an ice pack, pockets so fat they need they own TLC show type rich. but even so, she didn't like to flaunt her wealth. she'd rather use her money to pay for gifts and events for her friends, rather than to flex some diamond earrings or a gold necklace. She's still a teen girl though, so she still loves to go shopping. The girl is really just happy that she's found friends that actually love her for her, and not for her money.

"yeah, he started to doze off a little while after you left, so he slept with me."

"i dont know why you guys dont just ask eachother out yet. you two are basically in love with eachother."

"katsuki, you know how i feel, and you know how zuku is. im pretty sure if he would act the same way with the rest of the class as he acts with us if he just trusted them more." she informed, getting ready to wash her plate before bakugo snatched it.

"don't even try it." ever since they could crawl, they've never let the girl lift a finger. hungry? chef katsuki at your service! scraped your knee? Dr.deku to the rescue! and yes, they know that she's the perfectly capable and well off to do these things on her own, but why should she when she has two men to do it for her?

"anyways. we've all known eachother since literally birth. i see things, i observe things. you two are literally inseparable. im pretty sure y'all first words were eachothers names. you know how you act around him, you see with your own two (or four) eyes the way he acts with you, and im pretty sure he peeps it too. just ask eachother out already and stop being pussies for fucks sake!"

"oh my gosh?? shut the fuck up?? you're so damn loud??" she said, slapping him in the back of his neck.

"aye. try me again and we gotta tussle. i'm not deku. i'll will beat the black off you. i strike so much fear into your melanin pigmentation that it will come to me."

"whatever katsuki, u can run me my ones later, i gotta go help zuku now."

"ight then angel, u better be ready. see ya later."

with that, she finally left the kitchen and headed towards her dorm to meet izuku.

"finally.." the boy sighed. it's now 11:45 am, and they (she) just finished detangling, moisturizing, and somewhat styling his hair. at this point, her fingers and wrists were tired, her back was aching, her feet were sore, and she had the very violent urge to go back to her black roots and pop this nigga with the comb.

"I know damn well YOU not heavy breathing like you did some work. all yo lazy ass did was sit there and watch Netflix. YOU COULDN"T EVEN HOLD THE DAMN SPRAY..."

"I'm sorry, ma. thank you so much, I should've listened to you last night. now do you already have clothes ready? or do you need to pick something out?" he asked, pulling her into a hug and rubbing her back.

hi dear :) I've had a bit of a difficult day but im okay now.

now this is a question i like to see

so here's a few i really like :

The Green Creek Series by TJ Klune - now when I tell people that my favourite book series is about gay werewolves. they presumably judge me. but this series is one of the most well written things i have ever read. It doesn't follow typical A/B/O dynamics AT ALL which makes it really interesting and is written by a queer author also. everytime i thought the last book i read would be my favourite, i was mistaken. there's such a sense of brotherhood, family and community in it. its one of my all time favourites.

All For The Game by Nora Sakavic - this series is absolutely insane. it is one book series that i absolutely LOVE but rarely reccomend to anyone. its somwhow about a made up sport, a mafia organization and also is somehow gay. its also so good. i read this when i was about 15 and it has had me in a grip ever since.

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi - I read the first shatter me book when i was in the 8th grade and i borrowed it from my best friend. I got in trouble that day for staying up till 5am to finish it. i will admit, I have not read all the books, but i have read most of them and i love them. Aaron Warner is the ONLY blond man i will ever love and i mean that.

The Lightning Struck Heart by TJ Klune - there's a gay unicorn. that's all i have to say

This Savage Song by V.E. Schwab - I analyzed this book for a book report and then presented it to department officials at an English moderation. when i tell you i could tell you VERY DETAIL of this duology (the duology is called Monsters Of Verity). I absolutely loved the characters. there were some weak points but just. overall. I really like this book.

The Mark by Edyth Bulbring - I wasn't going to include this book on this list initially, but this book was my setwork in the 10th grade and I absolutely loved it. it was the first and only time in my life that i throughly enjoyed a setwork.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - yes i know this is a popular book. yes you've probably read it but this book means so much to me. the hunger games is the first book i bought with my own money. I bought it from a little second-hand bookshelf in a vintage shop and it's one of my most treasured possessions. the books themselves were absolutely brilliant and i adore them. katniss everdeen will ALWAYS be that girl btw.
