potions | regulus black
Tumblr media
pairing: regulus black x fem!reader
summary: regulus invites his potions partner over to his family home to “help her practice”
warnings: DUBCON (MDNI 18+), choking, smut, rough sex
────── ☾ ──────
When Regulus invited you into his home to use his in-house potions lab, you were suspicious. Regulus always had a darkness to him, and as your potions partner, he was never cruel to you, but he wasn’t the type to make such a kind gesture.
You accepted, knowing you could really use the extra practice. Regulus was talented at potions, and you felt bad that you were barely any help in class. As strange as it may be, you figured some extra time would benefit you, and Regulus could teach you and thing or two, if he felt kind enough to do so.
“Come on in,” he said, gesturing you through the door.
You smiled as you followed him through the house, the lighting almost as dark as his all-black outfit.
“I keep my potions stuff in here,” he said, pushing open the door to his bedroom.
“In your bedroom?”
“Mhm,” he responded, completely nonchalant about the fact you were in his personal space, while you felt it was a little strange. You didn’t know him too well, though you were attracted to him, and now you were only a few feet away from his bed.
He walked over to the table. “You coming?”
You swallowed and approached him, looking at the large collection of jars and ingredients spread out on the table.
“Should we maybe let your parents know I’m here? That there’s someone else in the house?”
Regulus chuckled. “The only other person here is my brother.”
“Sirius is here?”
Regulus shot you a look. You and Sirius had a weird past- you hooked up a few times at parties, you caught feelings and he didn’t, and you never spoke again. It was all ancient history, but you still tried to avoid being around him at all costs.
“Why does it matter?” Regulus asked.
“It doesn’t,” you spoke in a small voice, drifting your attention to the table, “so? What first?”
“Figured we could maybe just make sure you’re set on ingredients,” Regulus said. Everything he said was so dry, low, and monotone, and it sometimes made conversation hard.
“I think I’m comfortable with the ingredients side of things,” you told him.
“You’re not.”
You furrowed your brow and looked at him. “Yes, I am.”
“No, you’re not.”
“Yes I am!” you fought, “I know my own skill levels, Regulus.”
“I don’t think you do.”
He was so nonchalant about everything, reorganizing ingredients and setting up potion recipes as he spoke, as if anything he said didn’t matter.
You sighed and gave up fighting it, letting him take control and decide where to go from here. There was no point in going back and forth on the same thing over and over again.
“How about we just start with Shrinking Solution?” Regulus asked.
“Fine by me,” you answered.
Regulus backed away from the table, watching you do nothing. You looked back at him. Did he expect you to just do it?
“Well?” he said, “make the potion.”
You sighed. Sometimes he was so annoying and condescending. You looked at the unlabeled recipe and removed 7 red rose petals from a case of singular petals.
You began to drop them one-by-one in the boiling water. You looked at Regulus, who nodded at you to keep going. “How difficult,” you said sarcastically.
Remus folded his arms in front of his chest, watching you carefully.
You added five drops of essence of violet, stirring counterclockwise exactly twelve times.
“I don’t remember shrinking solution having essence of violet,” you told Regulus.
“Are you claiming my recipes are wrong?”
“No, I’m just saying.” You sighed and continued with the recipe, counting out 4 cloves and prepping canary flight feathers.
He didn’t say a word, just watching you make the potion, until you had completed the instructions.
“I also don’t remember it being pink,” you pouted, looking confused at the pot.
“I could have sworn this potion had daisy roots somewhere-“
“Would you relax?” Regulus questioned.
“Something just feels off about it,” you said, inspecting the liquid.
“Does it smell right?” he asked.
You leaned in and sniffed. The potion smelt like lavender, vanilla, freshly cut grass, and all your favorite smells.
The smell maintained throughout the smoke that you breathed in, overtaking your senses and filling your lungs. “Fuck that smells good,” you giggled.
Regulus crept behind you as silently as he could. When you stood up, he was directly behind you, your back almost banging into his torso.
You spun around to meet his gaze. “Can I help you with something?” you asked.
“I don’t know, can you?”
Your eyes locked for a moment, and you were suddenly overtaken with adoration.
“I think I probably can,” you said, all logic going out the window as the potion took over your emotions, your focus completely on Regulus.
“Atta girl,” he tsked, gripping your waist as he looked down at you. “How you feelin’, pretty girl?”
You were overcome with intense emotion, but you fought to remain grounded in reality. “You motherfucker,” you said, letting Regulus know that you were aware he had you make the wrong potion. This was not Shrinking Solution, this was Amortentia.
“No idea what you’re referring to,” he said.
“You know,” you started, twirling his already wavy hair in your fingers, “you could have just asked if you wanted me.”
“Now could I?” he asked, intrigued and eager to hear you continue talking.
“Mhm.”
“I thought I wasn’t your type.”
“Why?”
“You slept with my brother, did you not?”
Your eyes widened a bit. “And you know that how?”
“He’s my brother,” he said, holding you closer to him, his tone finally lifting to a bit lighter of a place, “and I’ve been keeping tabs on you.”
You giggled. “Have not.”
“I have been,” he admitted, “had to make sure you weren’t fucking anyone who didn’t deserve you.”
“I haven’t been fucking anyone,” you told him honestly.
“I know.”
“You wanna know why?”
His gaze darkened.
You sighed, “the only person I’ve wanted to fuck is standing right in front of me.”
Regulus growled, gripping your waist even harder and pulling you even closer. “Then what did I do all this work for? Getting you over here, the Amortentia, you’re telling me I worked for it for nothing?”
“Maybe,” you giggled, amused at how much thought and planning went into getting you here. You weren’t obvious about your attraction to him, but it couldn’t be that hard to notice.
“I feel drunk on you,” you admitted.
Regulus smiled. You had never ever seen him smile before. You didn’t even know he was capable.
“You’re so pretty when you smile,” you said genuinely, a hand moving upward so you could run a thumb over his cheek.
He couldn’t help himself anymore, he crashed his lips onto yours. Your hand found it’s way to the back of his head, holding him closer. You whimpered into the kiss, desperation overtaking your body. You couldn’t help it, the scent of the potion was still filling the room, and you were consumed in Regulus.
“I want you,” you said in between kisses, eager to finally get what you wanted.
Regulus didn’t break the kiss or loosen his grip on your waist, but instead inched you closer and closer to the bed. You felt the back of your knees hit the mattress, and you jumped up, attempting to land on the mattress, but Regulus caught you, forcing you to wrap your legs around his waist.
He leaned over you, your back touching the mattress as you kept your legs around Regulus. He remained standing, the small of your back at the edge of the side of the bed.
Regulus finally broke the kiss, running his hands all over your body and inspecting every single inch of you. “I’m gonna make you scream so loud that Sirius will realize what he’s missing.”
You couldn’t help it, you started laughing. Your heightened emotions won, and the more you tried to stay quiet, the more hysterical your laugh became.
Regulus slapped your thigh. “What the fuck is so funny?”
“You.”
“Shut up,” Regulus demanded, kissing you to distract you from the hysterics in your brain. You melted back into him, forgetting why you were even laughing in the first place.
You were still having too much fun to let him win so easy, and you liked watching him work for it. “Make me.”
Regulus cocked his head to the side. “What did you just say?”
A giggle threatened to leave your lips. “I said make me.”
A hand suddenly squeezed around your throat, not completely cutting off your breath, but stopping your giggling.
Regulus flashed you a wicked smile. “That seemed to work, didn’t it?”
“Y-yes,” you squeaked out.
Regulus moved a hand in between your bodies, cupping your heat from on top of your underwear. You inhaled sharply, desperate for any sort of friction.
Regulus tucked his fingers into the band of your underwear, collecting your wetness with his middle finger as he traced it in between your folds. A sigh of pleasure escapes your lips, and Regulus watched your face intently.
You thought he was going to continue on like this, slowly working you up until you were ready for him, but Regulus had other ideas. Without warning, he shoved two long fingers inside of you, his palm resting on your clit and circling, as his fingers pumped in and out of you.
Your body responded, back arching off the bed, a hand still around your throat. You squirmed a bit, unable to stay still from the sensation.
Regulus watched your chest rise and fall as your back arched and fell, his cock hardening as he watched what he did to you.
He curled his fingers, hitting that gummy sweet spot within you, causing your walls to convulse around his fingers. “That’s it, pretty girl,” he cooed, “come for me.”
His words undid you, the coil of tension within you breaking as you came on his fingers, whines and whimpers constantly filling the room as you calmed down from your high. He pulled his fingers out of you, never breaking eye contact as he sucked your juices off of them.
Once his fingers were licked clean, he unwrapped your legs from his waist, removing his hand from your throat.
“Stay,” he commanded as he untied his pants, pushing them, along with his underwear, down enough to free his hard and swollen cock.
You let out an audible gasp at the size.
“What? Too much for you?”
“How-“ you didn’t even know what to say, “how is that gonna fit in me?”
“I think you’ll be fine, pretty girl.”
Regulus held his palm in front of your mouth. “Spit.”
You did as he said, and he used your spit to wet his cock, lining up his tip with your entrance.
“You want this?” he asked.
“Yes, Reg,” you replied.
Regulus almost showed you mercy when he heard the nickname, it just sounded so pretty coming from you, but he still didn’t. “Beg for it.”
You nodded your head no in protest.
A hand grabbed your face, pushing your lips out and positioning your head so that you had no choice but to look him in the eye. “Beg. For. It.”
“P-please, Regulus I n-“
Regulus slapped your cheek, hard. You gasped at the pain, almost stunned that he did such a thing.
“Use that pretty little nickname you called me.”
“Please, Reg, I need it, p-please-“
Regulus shoved his length into you, a moan of his name leaving your lips.
“Fuck, Y/N,” Regulus growled, setting a steady pace as he pumped in and out of you. He tugged at the bottom of your dress. “Off.”
You did your best to pull your dress off without interrupting his pace, struggling for a minute but eventually succeeding. Regulus leaned in and bit at your bra strap, snapping it back onto your body. He kisses the top of your breasts, shoving your nipples out of the cups, his tongue immediately sucking on one of them.
“Fuck!” you cried out, the pleasure of his mouth on your breasts and his cock splitting you open, and the scent of the potion still filled your nose, almost feeling like too much.
“Louder,” he demanded, serious when he said he would make you scream so loud that Sirius could hear you.
“Fuck, Reg!” you screamed at the top of your lungs, his pace quickening as you did so.
“Good girl,” he praised.
He sucked a sweet spot on your neck, your head rolling to the side to give him even more access.
He was slamming into you, the bed squeaking as your body rocked back and forth. Your legs were weak as they fell off the side of the bed, but Regulus didn’t want the position to change. He grabbed both of your legs, positioning them over his shoulders and fucking into you even deeper.
You squeaked and whined, not even capable of any genuine moans anymore.
“You gonna come again, huh? All over my cock?” Regulus gasped out.
“Mhm.”
“Words, pretty girl.”
“Y- yes!” you squealed, your high hitting you again as you squeezed his cock, a groan leaving Regulus’s mouth as he fucked you while you came, pace never faltering as you attempted to come down from your high.
Regulus was still chasing his own, his lips enveloping yours in a heated kiss as he snapped his hips as fast as he could until he came inside of you, erratic breaths and sighs spilling into the kiss.
“Fuck,” he said, running his fingers through his hair that was sweat slicked and falling in front of his face.
“God, I needed that,” you said, attempting to catch your breath as Regulus laid down next to you.
Regulus didn’t respond, he just stared at the ceiling, calming himself down.
“Reg?” you asked.
“Mhm?”
“You didn’t bring me here just to fuck me and piss your brother off, right?” you asked.
Regulus turned to you. “Do you think that low of me?”
“No. I’m just curious,” you explained.
“No, I didn’t bring you here to piss my brother off,” he answered, “it’s just a massive, massive plus.” He rolled over the placed a kiss on your lips.

It's A Date

“Put this on,” Steve says, tossing the black button up at him. He’s been digging through Eddie’s closet for almost ten minutes while Eddie’s struggled to get his favorite black jeans on. It’s the first time he’s worn real clothes since leaving the hospital almost three months ago.
“I don’t want to wear this, Steve.”
“Harrington,” Steve bitches back.
“Ok Harrington,” Eddie says, playful sarcasm dripping into his tone, “why am I wearing this? It’s pretty stuffy for dinner and a movie on the couch.”
“It’s a date, Munson. Dress to impress.” Eddie can’t help but chuckle at the sound of his last name. Steve smiles at him. He throws a red tie around Eddie’s neck before tying a perfect knot. “Are you sure you’re ok getting to the door on your own? Everything’s already set up and he’s gonna be here in five minutes. I could grab your cane and–”
“Yes, I can open the door for my date, I don’t need you to do it.” It’s a joke, but when he looks up, Steve’s face is unsure, lips tilted downward with sad eyes.
“And you’re sure you like the guy?” It’s insecure, vulnerable, and genuine.
“Of course I do,” Eddie smiles. “Yo– he’s perfect.”
Five minutes later, Eddie carefully makes his way through the trailer to open the front door. Standing on the other side is the prettiest boy he’s ever seen, holding a bouquet of daisies and wearing the yellow tie Eddie picked out earlier.
“Hi, Eddie,” the boy’s blushing, nervous with anticipation, until a cocksure smile lights his face. “You look really nice tonight. Love the shirt, good choice.”
Eddie’s cheeks burn as he laughs, raking his eyes over the man he’s been in love with for almost three months. “I was told guys like when I get all gussied up.”
Steve hums, stepping up the stairs to wrap his hands around the back of Eddie’s neck. “That guy sounds pretty smart. Should I be worried about him?”
“No, sweetheart,” Eddie smiles wide, pecking him on the cheek. “you’re the only man I ever wanna date.”

take my hand
summary: as much as y/n appreciates anthony's matchmaking efforts, it's hard to accept them when he's the only man she wants. luckily for her, a fall in the lake allows her to voice her feelings in more ways than one
a/n: 4.4k of pure angst/fluff and, yes, smut
Tumblr media
Promenading was probably one of the most pointless endeavours the ton insisted on participating in. Miss Y/N Moore loved going on walks around the city. But when she was surrounded by the ton and their watching eyes and gossiping mouths, it was hard to enjoy anything.
"Stop glowering," her mother hissed, elbowing her in the side. "Smile."
Y/N sighed. But she raised her chin and smiled politely as they walked past the Featherington family.
There was only one reason why her mother had forced her out of the house: the Earl of Newburgh.
He'd been courting Y/N since the second week of the season. They'd danced together at almost every ball, gone to museum visits together and he'd had dinner at her house. Twice.
They were practically engaged in the eyes of the ton.
Yet Y/N wasn't happy. She liked the earl, there was nothing wrong with him. He was a lovely man. But there was no spark between them. Their relationship just felt like a good friendship.
She had never confessed it to her mother, however. If she did, Y/N was certain her mother would swoon.
"I do not see the earl anywhere," her mother muttered, rising up on to her tiptoes.
Y/N tugged on her arm and forced her back down. "He might not be here yet, mama."
"He did invite you to promenade with him, yes?"
"Yes -"
"Then why is he not here?"
Y/N kept quiet. Sometimes, when her mother got annoyed, she talked to herself, grumbling about anything and everything. It was easier to let her talk aloud and not acknowledge anything - otherwise they'd end up in a fight and Y/N knew how they always ended.
As her mother kept rattling on, Y/N gazed across the crowd gathered down by the lake. There were awnings pitched up along the edge of the clearing, providing shade to the families sitting under them. It was a beautiful day and the lake had numerous boats upon it, gently gliding over the water.
Y/N's roving gaze moved past and then came back to an awning nearest the lake. It, and the carriage, were both light blue. The carriage door boasted the Bridgerton family crest and Y/N's heart stuttered.
It was as if he knew she was looking.
Viscount Anthony Bridgerton looked up. He was sat on a blanket, his youngest sister Hyacinth sat by him, tucked into his side. They were making a daisy chain together. It snaked down Anthony's legs, growing longer as Hyacinth added to it.
It was as if the world stopped for a moment, blurring everything out except Anthony.
"Y/N, darling!"
Y/N jumped slightly. She turned and saw the Earl of Newburgh walking towards her, her mother practically hanging off his arm.
"I found him!"
Y/N tried not to cringe. She kept her composure and smiled at the earl, curtseying as he approached. "My Lord."
"Would you care to promenade with me, Miss Moore?" He asked, smiling at her as he offered her his arm.
"I would love to," she replied, threading her arm through his.
Her mother giggled. Giggled. Y/N tried not to sigh but her composure must've slipped as the Earl patted her hand sympathetically.
They walked down the grass, past the families and toward the water. Y/N could feel guilt eating at her every time she glanced at the earl. She didn't want to inconvience him or hurt his feelings. But she also didn't want to trap him in a marriage that was one sided.
"Miss Moore -"
"My lord -"
They both stopped abruptly, hearing the other speak. The earl laughed, shaking his head.
"Please, go first, Miss Moore."
Y/N sighed. "My lord, I apologise but I... I would rather we remain friends than take this any further. I value you and our friendship," she added quickly, "but I just do not feel any..."
"Spark?"
Y/N smiled and nodded. "I know I am running out of time," she said quietly. "And any other woman would accept your suit and gladly become a countess. But I yearn for a love match, as foolish as that might seem. I want what so many of the ton have and I am not quite ready to give up on that idea yet."
"I do not think you should either," the earl replied. He took her hand in his. "We all deserve a chance at true love, Miss Moore. I can only hope you find it."
"As do I, my lord." She curtseyed. "I hope to see you around."
It was as if her mother knew what had just happened. As the earl walked away, Y/N turned, glancing over at her. She could see the fury on her face even from this far away. Y/N swallowed as she began to walk back to her mother, bracing herself for the fallout.
"Miss Moore!"
She stilled. The voice as achingly familiar. She could smell him and it filled her with a weird warmth.
Y/N turned. Anthony Bridgerton was standing there, hands clasped behind his back, wearing a dark blue jacket.
"Lord Bridgerton," Y/N said, curtseying.
Anthony smiled. "I was Anthony last week," he said, moving closer.
"My mother is watching," Y/N replied softly. She risked a glance over her shoulder. "I just ended things with the Earl of Newburgh."
"Why?"
Y/N turned back to face him. She shrugged. "There was no spark."
Anthony nodded once. He glanced over her shoulder. "Well, would you like to come out onto the lake with me?" He asked, extending his hand out. "To escape your mother for a moment?"
Y/N looked at his bare hand. Slowly, she placed her own bare hand in his, letting him guide her hand to the crook of his elbow. She could feel the warmth of his body even through the dark blue wool of his jacket.
They began to walk towards the dock set up on the edge of the lake. The sun emerged from behind the clouds, sparkling off the water for a moment before disappearing again.
Anthony held her hand as she stepped into the boat. He kept her steady as it rocked, not letting go until she did. Y/N sat down on the chair built into the boat. Anthony sat down opposite her, grabbing the oars.
One of the workers untied them from the dock and gave them a gentle push out onto the lake. Anthony began to row, the oars splashing in and out of the water. Y/N sighed, relaxing back against the cushions, grateful to have escaped her mother's wrath for a moment.
Anthony was quiet for a while. He rowed them away from the dock, weaving through the other boats on the lake.
"What made you deny the earl?" Anthony asked, breaking the silence that had fallen over them.
Y/N exhaled softly, letting her hand trail through the water. "There was no spark," she replied. "I felt nothing but friendship towards him."
"What is it you look for?"
"A love match," Y/N replied, taking her hand out the water and shaking the droplets off. "Despite how foolish it may seem, I yearn for a love match. One that matches the stories I read when I was younger. Whilst I know it will probably never happen, younger me isn't quite ready to give up on the idea yet."
"I do not think it foolish," Anthony said softly. He slowed the oars, holding them loosely in his hands. "Nor do I think you should give up on it."
Y/N found his gaze. The intensity of it almost took her breath away.
"I must admit, however, that I do not think the earl would have made a good match."
His words snatched her out of her dream. Y/N stared at him, affronted.
"Whatever does that mean?" She asked.
"Well, he lives in Scotland -"
"Do you have some personal vendetta against Scotland?"
"Other than the bagpies and the tartan and the constant rain?"
"Anthony, have you ever been to Scotland in your life?"
"Colin has."
Y/N sighed. "Your brother does not count." She paused. "Is Scotland the only reason?"
"Oh, I have a whole list."
"Oh for goodness sake."
Y/N knew Anthony had a soft spot for her. They'd been friends since she'd come out two years previously. He'd been a desired match despite his whining about not wanting a wife. Her mother had forced them to dance together numerous times and soon a friendship had formed.
Even if that friendship sometimes comprised of a very judgy viscount who seemed to make who Y/N was courting his business.
"Anthony, when will you realise that you cannot control who I court?" Y/N asked softly.
Anthony began rowing them back to the dock. "I do not claim to try to."
"But you do."
"If you want me to stop, you need only ask."
"Anthony, that's not what..." Y/N sighed heavily. "I do not get a lot of choice in this world, please stop trying to control the one thing I do get to choose."
"I was not aware I was," Anthony replied, brow furrowing.
Y/N didn't want to say it. But she knew she had to.
"Well, you are," she replied gently. "I appreciate the concern but... I do not have long left to find my true love. And you, Viscount Bridgerton, are not helping things."
She knew it was a low blow. All Anthony wanted to do was protect her. But he kept scaring off countless suitors - sometimes before Y/N could even speak to them. It was a miracle the earl had managed to bypass Anthony at all.
The boat hit the dock. Y/N looked at Anthony and could see the muscles in his jaw clenching. He cleared his throat and stood up, pulling his jacket down.
Anthony climbed out the boat and crouched down, tying the rope back to the dock. He said nothing. Y/N hated the silence. She'd upset him, she knew that.
But she could not allow him to keep matchmaking for her when the only one she wanted was him. It hurt to see him try to marry her off to another man. All she wanted to do was be with him.
She'd denied it for months. The feelings that had begun to blossom inside her. They had become uncontrollable now, taking over her entire being whenever she saw him.
She was in love with Anthony Bridgerton.
The man who was against love, against marriage, against happy ever afters. He had made his intentions clear and Y/N knew he was not going to back down on them for her.
Her heart belonged to him and he didn't even know it.
Anthony held out his hand to her. "Miss Moore."
"Lord Bridgerton." She placed her hand in his.
Y/N stepped out of the boat and onto the dock. As she did so, she glanced down at their hands, fingers still holding on to one another.
Neither one of them wanted to let go. Even as the seconds ticked by. Anthony ran his thumb along her knuckles, hovering over the ring she wore on her middle finger.
Then, as if struck by lighting, they pulled apart. Y/N and Anthony both took a step back together, not realising another couple were directly behind them.
There was a yelp of surprise. It was a tangle of limbs and ropes and suddenly, Y/N found herself hitting the water. For a moment, she was blinded, but then she found her way upright and surfaced.
She turned her head, catching the splash as Anthony awkwardly surfaced from the depths of the lake, arms wheeling. The other man they'd knocked into the water was glowering at them but Y/N didn't care.
In fact, she was finding the entire situation highly amusing.
A crowd had gathered at the edge of the dock, her mother among them. Anthony was angrily shedding his jacket and cravat, slinging them into the water.
Y/N made the mistake of looking over.
His white shirt was near see through thanks to the water. It clung to his torso, highlighting the muscles and giving her a near clear view of everything.
Her cheeks began to burn and Y/N turned away quickly.
"Anthony, are you okay?"
Y/N looked up at the dock. Daphne Bridgerton, Anthony's sister, was stood at the edge, looking down at them, his brother Benedict next to them.
Benedict looked as amused as Y/N did at the whole situation.
"No," he grunted. "This idiot decided to tie his boat where there was no space!"
"You walked into me, my lord!"
Y/N rolled her eyes as the two man began to bicker. She half swam, half waded away back to the dock. The crowd moved back as she put her hands on the edge and pushed herself up onto it, gratefully accepting Benedict's help as he pulled her back onto dry land.
She knew she looked a mess. Her dress was covered in grime from the lake and there was a stray twig stuck in her hair. Yet she didn't seem to care.
Y/N shook her head, pulling the twig out. She looked up as Benedict straightened, giving her a smile. He held out his hand and pulled her to her feet
Y/N watched as Benedict crouched back down and offered a hand to his brother. Anthony slapped it aside, glowering at Benedict as he laughed at his brother's misfortune.
Anthony clambered back up onto the dock and snatched a towel from one of the workers hovering hesitantly nearby. He marched off, giving Y/N a tilt of the head as he passed by.
Y/N watched him leave. A shiver danced through her body and she wrapped her arms around herself. A warm jacket landed around her shoulders.
"So you have a reason to come by," Benedict whispered in her ear as he stepped back.
Y/N smiled up at him, pulling the jacket tight around her.
Tumblr media
She knocked on the front door of Bridgerton house, Benedict's freshly laundered jacket in her hand. It wasn't long before the butler opened the door and ushered her inside, taking her calling card.
Y/N waited in the foyer for a moment, admiring the paintings and the walls. Then, the butler appeared again and guided her up the stairs to the drawing room.
"Y/N!"
She'd barely taken one step inside the room before Hyacinth came barreling at her, wrapping her arms around her waist.
"Hyacinth," Violet admonished, hurrying over. "Please do not ambush Miss Moore."
Hyacinth beamed up at Y/N before skipping away, back to her marbles.
"Miss Moore - Y/N," Violet corrected, seeing Y/N open her mouth to do so, "what do we owe the pleasure?"
Y/N held up the jacket. "I believe this is your son's." She paused. "The artistic one."
Violet chuckled, taking the jacket from Y/N. "Thank you," she replied. "I do apologise for what -"
"Oh, it was not anyone's fault," Y/N said, shrugging. "A funny accident was all it was."
Violet sighed. "I wish Anthony saw it that way. He is still rather angry at being pushed into the lake."
Y/N knew that, whilst he probably was angry at that, it wasn't the only thing. Yet, she did not say so aloud.
"I apologise for the lack of people here," Violet continued. "All of them are out. Bar Anthony, he's in his office."
"Not to worry, I only came to drop the jacket off," Y/N replied. She paused, hesitating to ask her next question.
"What is it, Y/N?" Violet asked, her mother's instinct isntantly reading the heistation on Y/N's face.
"I may have said some things to your son that upset him," she admitted softly. "I should not have done so but..." She sighed. "I cannot explain it myself, to be honest."
Violet nodded, eyes full of understanding. "You do not need to. Your relationship with Anthony is a special one. I do hope that this does not ruin it." Violet smiled. "I always think it best to be honest with someone, Y/N. Even if it's scary. It almost always helps things."
Y/N nodded. "Thank you."
As she turned to go, Violet called her name, halting her.
"His office is behind the stairs," Violet said.
Y/N smiled at the older woman. She turned and made her way down the stairs. As she got to the bottom, she turned to the right instead of heading for the front door.
It was easy to spot Anthony's office. The door was slightly ajar and she could see his jacket, abandoned on a chair by the fireplace.
Y/N knocked gently on the door.
"Just a moment, Hy," Anthony called.
Y/N stepped in, peering round the door, holding on to the edge. "Should I be flattered that you assumed I was Hyacinth?"
Anthony looked up sharply, his quill scratching along the parchment in one, thick, ink heavy line. "Miss Moore."
"I believe it was Y/N the other day," she replied, throwing his own words back at him, hoping to lighten the tension.
It didn't work.
"Why are you here?" Anthony asked, gripping his quill tightly.
"I came to return Benedict's jacket," she replied.
His reaction was obvious, despite how hard he tried to hide it. His shoulders slumped and his demeanour changed.
"Ah," Anthony replied, turning back to his papers. "Did you get lost?"
"I came to see you as well," Y/N replied. She was still hiding behind the door. "But only if you'll hear me out."
"I might."
"And if you stop being so rude."
At that, Anthony looked up again. He stood up, pushing back his chair. "What do you want, Y/N?" He asked, walking over to a cabinet and opening the doors.
"To apologise for what I said," Y/N replied, edging further into the room. "I was stressed amongst many other things and I took it out on you. Of course I value your opinion and I appreciate your assistance."
"You did not seem to the other day."
"Well, I was having conflicting feelings."
Anthony scoffed. Y/N watched him pour out a glass of whiskey and drink it in one.
Y/N sighed softly. She walked further into the room, pushing the door shut behind her. "The truth is, Anthony, that... as much as I appreciate your matchmaking skills and your assistance with this whole thing I..." Y/N trailed off.
She could still change her mind. She could still lie to him, claim innocence.
But she didn't want to.
Now was her chance to tell him. To let it all out. It would hurt. The denial would sting. But she would get over it. And then maybe, she could find another match.
"I cannot have the man I love trying to marry me off to other men when the only one I want is him."
Anthony's glass clinked against the bottle he was holding. He went very still, frozen mid-pour. Y/N let the confession settle, the silence grow. She moved closer to him, the heels of her shoes against the wooden floor the loudest sound she'd ever heard.
"I can’t get you out of my head," she admitted softly. "You haunt my dreams at night and in the day. I find myself searching for you where ever I go, yearning just to hear your voice, to feel your hand in mine… your lips against my skin.
"You torment my very being. Whenever I see you, whenever I hear you there’s a spark inside me that demands to be let out. A spark that doesn’t exist with anyone but you, Anthony."
Anthony set the bottle down and turned to face her. Y/N didn't know how she expected him to react but the tears brimming in his eyes was not high on the list.
"I know that this might not be what you wish to happen," she added quickly, stepping even closer, "and if that is the case, I will walk away right now and forget this ever happened." She paused, breathing deeply. "But I think there is something, deep down inside, that yearns for this too."
That god awful silence fell again. The clock chimed from the mantle place, indicating that it was inching close to six o'clock. Anthony stared at her. Y/N stared at him. She let her fingers grip her skirt tightly.
"I will admit," Anthony said softly, his voice hoarse, "that I have felt something too. For a long time I have denied it." He swallowed. "I loved my father deeply and his loss aches even today. I fear to love anyone else as much or to allow anyone to love me as much because I do not wish to inflict that ache on anyone else.
"But what I have discovered since meeting you, Y/N Moore, is that the ache means that the love was so great, it cannot be put into words. We know what happens in the end, yet we love anyway. It has taken me a long time to accept that. To accept that falling in love will only mean more pain, more heart ache. But for you, I am willing to accept that. For you, I am willing to love again."
Y/N couldn't breathe. At some point during Anthony's confession, her breath had been stolen away by his words.
Here they were, baring their open and broken souls to one another. It shouldn't have felt this good. It shouldn't have brought her the relief it was.
Anthony stepped closer. Y/N followed his gaze, never breaking away. He lowered his lips to hers. It was slow and delicate yet the desire was there, the need for more was there. He pressed hard, pushing her lips apart slightly, wanting even more.
Then, they broke apart. Anthony took a step back. Y/N looked at him, breathing heavily. Anthony looked at her, his dark eyes burning into her soul.
There was a moment of stillness. A moment of calm.
Then Anthony surged forward, as did Y/N. They collide. His hands wrapped around her waist as he captured her lips again. They were desperate to devour one another, to know each others bodies, to feel one another after denying their feelings for so long.
Anthony lifted Y/N up and she wrapped her legs around his waist, never once breaking their kiss. He walked back and sat her on the desk, knocking over trinkets and piles of papers. His hands were frantic, desperately undoing the hooks at the back of her dress as she undid his waistcoat.
Desire coursed through them. The need to hold one another overwhelming them both. Y/N's dress fell down from her shoulders and ended up on the floor, forgotten.
As Anthony stepped back, Y/N jumped off the desk and pulled Anthony forward by his cravat. She smiled, licking her swollen lips as she pushed him down until he was kneeling in front of her.
Anthony chuckled, his hands reaching up and pulling down her stockings from around her thighs. Her drawers followed next. Anthony's hands danced over her hips and upper thighs as he guided the material down.
Y/N's hands caressed his face and combed through his hair with her fingers as he undressed her and Anthony tried not to moan in delight. He paused as her hands came around his throat, undoing the cravat and then drifting down to his shirt.
Teasingly, Y/N pulled the edge up, letting her nail lightly drag across his skin. A tremor went through his body, desire flaring between his legs. The shirt landed on the floor next to her dress.
Anthony paused, looking at her. “I will stop if you want me to,” he said softly.
"Please don’t.”
Anthony realised just how much he liked her begging.
Y/N lowered herself to her knees, looking Anthony in the eye. He recognised the look in her eyes and he slowly lowered himself down to the floor, the rug brushing his bare back.
She knelt over him, fingers dancing over his chest. Her hands moved down, brushing between his legs. He nearly came undone there and then. Y/N undid his trousers, sliding the fabric down his legs until they were both exposed.
Y/N lowered herself onto him, a sweetness growing between her legs as she did so. She yearned to reach down and relieve it. Instead, she straightened up, resting on top of Anthony. He tilted his head back, a groan burning in his throat. He let her warm to him, to his touch, and then he arched up slightly, encouraging her movements. Y/N moved with him, their limbs becoming one, entangling with the other.
Anthony reached the horizon of his desire, feeling it's release all over. Y/N rested a hand on his chest, breathing hard. She leant down, kissing his lips, the space behind his ear, his collarbone. She brushed her hand along the side of his face, taking in every mole, every detail.
Anthony took her face in his hands. He gently guided her up, until they were both kneeling again. Then, he pushed her backwards, letting her lower herself onto the floor. Y/N laid on the rug, looking up at Anthony, her eyes caught in his gaze. He knelt over her, his knees either side of her waist, his knee brushing her bare skin.
He smirked as slowly lowered himself downward, caressing every part of her body as he went. His hands ran over her covered breasts, hovering for a moment, before moving down to her stomach. He paused at her thighs and then, when he heard her whimper, went down further, to the sweet spot that yearned to be touched.
Y/N splayed her hands out against the rug as the sweetness between her thighs was eased by hands that knew exactly what to do and a tongue that knew just where to touch.
She didn't even hear the noises she made, so absorbed in the feeling of Anthony's fingers inside her. Her hips bucked up and he pushed them back to the floor, resting his other hand against her abdomen.
Needing something to grasp onto, Y/N reached for his hand. Anthony found it and gripped it tightly, riding with her as each surge of breath came in quick succession.
Y/N arched up, her head tilted back, exposing her throat, as she crested the wave of her release. Anthony finished off as she fell back against the rug, her skin glowing with sweat.
He laid down next to her, his hand coming to lie against her chest. He could feel her heart beating through the corset she still wore.
Neither one spoke - they didn’t need to. Y/N closed her eyes and turned her head, nestling into Anthony’s neck and breathing in deeply. His cologne was stronger there, evidently where he’d rolled it on that morning. Anthony’s thumb rubbed back and forth along her back.
In stark contrast from the hunger and desire that had gripped them moments earlier, they were both settled now. Anthony’s kiss was soft on her cheek, his hands gentle as he caressed her bare skin. Y/N found herself drawing circles on his bare back, following imaginary lines along the divot of his spine.
She sighed softly and relaxed further into his embrace, closing her eyes as she listened to Anthony’s heart beating in time with hers.
She awoke hours later. The candles had burnt down and the sky was dark outside the window. She was still in Anthony’s embrace, his hand lazily flung across her stomach, fingers on her thigh. She turned her head to look at him and he blinked at her sleepily, his hair mussed.
“I suspect I might have to marry you now,” Anthony whispered, tucking her hair behind her ear. He pressed a kiss to her forehead.
“I suspect you might, Lord Bridgerton” Y/N replied, smiling back. She brushed her hand through his hair. “Luckily for you, I’m all yours.”
“Lucky for me indeed,” Anthony murmured, pressing his lips to hers once more. Slowly. Deliberately.
For they had all the time in the world now.

𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍𝐒
♡ ︎ꜱʜɪᴘ: Theodore Nott x Reader
Tumblr media
Theodore Nott didn’t understand you. In fact, he was fairly certain that nobody understood you. Yet, as he leaned against the library’s stone archway, watching you float through the corridors like some ethereal, pastel dream, he couldn’t look away.
You were all bouncy curls and matching bows, a perpetual smile plastered on your face as if you were in a constant state of blissful daydreaming. You stopped abruptly to crouch down, whispering to a group of ducks that had waddled in from the Hogwarts lake. Yes, actual ducks. They quacked in reply, as if they were in on the conversation.
“Of course,” Theodore muttered under his breath, pushing himself off the wall and walking over, curiosity getting the better of him.
When he got close enough, he heard you giggling, a sound that, against his will, made the corner of his mouth twitch upward.
“And that’s why you shouldn’t fly too close to the Whomping Willow,” you were saying seriously to the ducks. “It doesn’t know how to make friends properly, but we should still be kind to it.”
Theodore raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms. “Are you giving life advice to ducks now?”
You looked up at him, eyes twinkling. “Theo!” you chirped, as if him showing up was the most delightful surprise you could’ve imagined. “I’m not giving advice. I’m just making sure they know the dangers around here! It’s very important.”
He sighed. Of course, it was.
“Do you ever stop smiling?” he asked, though the question was softer than he intended.
You grinned even wider—how that was possible, he didn’t know. “Why would I stop? There are so many things to be happy about!"
He glanced at you. “I don’t see the point in getting excited over things that happen every day.”
You stood up and clasped your hands together, staring at him with those impossibly bright eyes. “Oh, Theo, you poor, gloomy boy,” you said dramatically, putting a hand on your heart. “You must be starving for joy!”
“I’m not starving for anything,” he said, though he suddenly felt a little unsure about that.
“Oh, but you are!” you declared, twirling around him in a circle. “You need some color in your life, some adventure, some—”
“Flowers?” he interrupted, gesturing to the daisy chain you had managed to loop around his arm while he wasn’t paying attention.
“Exactly!” you said, your eyes twinkling. “Flowers make everything better. See? Now you look like a prince from one of those old fairy tales!”
Theodore glanced down at the delicate chain of daisies and sighed again. “This isn’t helping my reputation, you know.”
You just smiled innocently. “Who cares about reputation? Life is more fun when you don’t worry so much.”
“I’m not worried,” he said quickly. “I just—don’t understand you.”
“That’s okay,” you said softly, standing still now, your voice like a gentle breeze. “You don’t have to understand me, Theo. But you could try… enjoying things a little. It wouldn’t hurt, would it?”
Theodore opened his mouth to respond, but you weren’t waiting for an answer. Instead, you grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the courtyard.
“We’re going on an adventure!” she announced.
“We are?” Theodore asked, though he was already being tugged along.
“Yes! Look at all the flowers blooming today! I bet we can find the perfect ones to make a crown for you. Wouldn’t that be fun?”
Theodore groaned, but something warm flickered in his chest. “Darling, I am not wearing a flower crown.”
“We’ll see,” you sang, skipping ahead with him in tow.
As you reached the courtyard, you released his hand and flitted from one patch of wildflowers to the next, gathering blossoms and humming a tune. Theodore leaned against a pillar, watching you with an exasperated, almost fond expression. How could someone be so relentlessly joyful?
“Found it!” you called out, holding up a daffodil triumphantly. “This is the one. It’s your flower.”
“My—what?”
“Your flower,” you repeated with utmost seriousness. “Daffodils mean new beginnings. They’re perfect for you.”
Theodore raised an eyebrow. “I don’t need a new beginning.”
“Everyone needs new beginnings sometimes,” you said softly, tucking the daffodil behind his ear. “Even grumpy boys like you.”
He swallowed, suddenly very aware of how close you were. Your scent—something like wildflowers and sunshine—was intoxicating. For the briefest moment, Theodore wondered if maybe, just maybe, there was something to your endless optimism, your constant smiles.
“Do you always fall in love with everything?” he asked, his voice quieter than before.
You paused, your fingers lingering near his face. “I fall in love with the beauty in things,” you admitted, your gaze steady and sincere. “But that doesn’t mean I don’t notice the hard parts too. I just choose to love it all anyway.”
He stared at you for a long moment, something unfamiliar tugging at his chest.
“You’re impossible,” he muttered.
“And you’re adorable,” you replied, grinning again.
Theodore sighed, though this time, there was a hint of a smile on his face. “I still don’t want a flower crown.”
You giggled, plopping the half-finished daisy chain on his head. “Too late! You’re already the flower prince of Hogwarts.”
Tumblr media
It was a little ridiculous how happy you were, and it drove Theo absolutely mad.
But not in the way he wanted.
“Good morning, Theo!” you chirped as you bounced into the common room, your shoes making soft tap tap sounds on the stone floor. You held a handful of daisies, which you promptly began to sprinkle over the Slytherin table, because, in your words, “Even dungeons need love!”
Theo looked up from his book, his brow furrowing. “What are you doing?”
“Making everything prettier, of course,” you replied with a giggle, twirling around to place a daisy behind your ear. “The dungeon’s so gloomy. Don’t you think flowers brighten the place up?”
He blinked at you, his eyes flicking from the daisies to you, then back to his book. “I don’t think flowers are going to solve the fact that we live underground.”
You gasped dramatically, clutching the flowers to your chest like he had just offended your entire soul. “Theo! How could you say that? Flowers solve everything!”
He grumbled something under his breath, flipping the page of his book with more force than necessary. “Whatever. Do what you want.”
And that was how it always went. You would always find some way to make Theo’s carefully crafted gloomy world a little brighter—much to his dismay. Yet, somehow, despite himself, he couldn’t help but let you.
Like that time you convinced him to walk with you through the Forbidden Forest, not for some grand adventure, but because, in your words, “The sunlight looked so pretty through the trees.” Theo had rolled his eyes so hard he thought they might fall out of his head, but still, there he was, trudging alongside you, hands stuffed deep in his pockets, grumbling all the while.
And then there was that one time during Potions class, where he sat quietly at his desk, scribbling notes, and you… well, you were busy tying tiny bows on the vials of ingredients. Professor Snape wasn’t impressed, but when he told you to stop, you just smiled and said, “But Professor, it’s just so much nicer this way!”
It was ridiculous. You were ridiculous.
And he was utterly and completely… charmed.
Not that he’d admit that, of course. Theo was far too grumpy, far too Theodore to ever say something like that aloud. But he didn’t mind that you sat next to him in every class, constantly filling the space with your endless chatter about how beautiful the stars looked last night or how you had named the toads in the courtyard after each of the Hogwarts founders. He didn’t mind how you always found a way to make him a little less… grumpy, even if he pretended otherwise.
One day, as you skipped down the hall beside him, your arms full of flowers you had picked from Merlin-knows-where, you suddenly stopped dead in your tracks, eyes wide as saucers.
“Theo! Look at the sky! It’s pink! And orange! Oh my gosh, isn’t it the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?”
He stopped too, glancing up at the sky, his expression flat. “It’s just a sunset.”
“Just a sunset?” you gasped, grabbing his arm and tugging him closer to the window. “No, no, it’s not just a sunset, it’s magical. Don’t you feel it? The colors, the warmth! It’s like the sky is telling a story!”
He looked at you then, really looked at you. The way your eyes sparkled with excitement, the way your lips curled into that bright, infectious smile. You were staring at the sky like it was the most wonderful thing you’d ever seen, and somehow, in that moment, he thought you looked more magical than any sunset could ever be.
“Theo?” You waved a hand in front of his face, snapping him out of his daze. “What are you thinking about?”
“Nothing,” he muttered, shaking his head as he tried to focus on something, anything that wasn’t how ridiculously soft and pretty you looked in the pinkish-orange glow of the sky. “You’re just… weird.”
You grinned up at him, undeterred. “Weird? That’s the best compliment you’ve given me all week!”
He rolled his eyes again, though his lips quirked up ever so slightly. “Yeah, well… don’t get used to it.”
But you saw right through him. “You like me, don’t you, Theo?” you teased, nudging him with your shoulder.
“Absolutely not,” he shot back, though the redness creeping up his neck betrayed him.
You giggled, that sweet, melodic sound that made his heart do stupid things in his chest. “It’s okay, I like you too.”
He groaned, running a hand through his hair. “Merlin help me…”
But as you linked your arm through his and started humming a happy little tune, skipping alongside him down the hall, he couldn’t help but smile just a little.
Maybe, just maybe, sunshine wasn’t so bad after all.

Unholy- Max Verstappen (Praise kink)
5! KINKTOBER! MINORS DNI
Remember this contains sexual descriptions, nudity, and intercourse.
Pairing: Max Verstappen x Reader!
Tumblr media
Being a babysitter was one thing, but taking care of the three-time Formula One champion, single father, daughter was another level. Even if it seemed like the little girl would be a little brat who had everything she wanted as soon as she wanted, I could tell Max tried to keep her humble and in the shadows, and of course, he would try his best for Jos, his dad to not interfered.
I was standing in his bedroom doorway since he called me. I could tell he was tired, he spent a whole day dealing with Daisy's tantrums and her bratty responses. Normally she would be like this just with him so she can get what she wants, but today it didn't work and I was there to calm Daisy down and make her breath.
"You did good today," I say, moving my eyes along his back, he was fixing his bed to sleep. "She was a bit irritable today; her teeth are growing, which really makes her mood swing."
"Still, she can't be this bratty" he states. I nod.
"Yeah, I know, but overall, you really did good with dealing with her tantrums" I look at his face now, he's facing me but the distance between us can hide the heat my body is feeling under his gaze.
"You think?" I can feel the uncertainty in his voice.
"Yeah, you almost didn't need me, you did an amazing job" I smile wide, trying to prove my point with the grin.
"Thank you, i feel terrible though, i know I'm not as around as she wants me to be and it kills me" I can tell there's sincerity in his voice and I move closer, without actually thinking about it.
"Don't beat yourself so much, I think you do your best between racing and taking care of Daisy" I say, my voice gentle but firm, reassuring.
He let out a soft scoff and ran a hand through his hair.
"I'm barely keeping it together" he sits on the edge of the bed and I sit beside him.
My hand reaches his thigh. "You are actually keeping it together, a mean, a five-year-old and three world championships in a row are impressive" I chuckle softly, and I sense how his shoulders relax at the admiration in my voice.
His gaze is on me, his eyes piercing into mine, looking for a sign of me not being sincere, but he finds none, he smiles, almost shyly.
"Do you how proud I am of you?" I whisper, my hand leaving caresses on his thigh. "Every time I see you with her, every time you make time for her despite your insane schedule, It makes me admire you."
Max's breath grows uneven, from my words and the light touches on his thigh. He moves slightly, to see me and we are almost face to face.
"You work harder than anyone I know" I grow bolder and move my hand a little higher, reaching the hem of his shorts. "You don't give yourself enough credit" I lean my face a bit closer to his now redder one.
"I don't know what to say" he whispers and our lips almost brush. He moves a strand of hair out of my face.
"You are an incredible dad, well, everything about you is incredible" I mutter, my eyes drifting from his eyes to his lips I was almost drooling to prove them.
"I don't know what to say" he groans again and I can sense he wants this as much as I do. "I'm not used to this" he chuckles softly and I smile.
"I can fix that" My hand moves to cup his cheek."If you let me, of course"
He nods a little too quick and the shyness overpowers him, his arousal and the red of his face growing equally.
"Yes.... please" he whispers and my lips are attached to his the moment the plead leaves his mouth. "Let me shower how much do you deserve this" I whisper against his lips once we move to breathe.
Max lets out a soft groan, a mixture of both relief and desire. He wasn't used to all the praising, but either for not being the one in control.
He always had control, he was always the one pushing for more. But right here right now, he was willing to give that power, to let me take over that power and soak him in praises, all those praises he never heard from anyone else.
My lips traced away all over his face, leaving no space for doubt to hit him, his usual composed demeanor slipping away as the soft kisses trailed down his neck, every touch, every whispered word of praise seemed to make him more willing to give the power away.
"You are so good, so pretty" i suck a bit on his neck, leaving a small mark.
He gasps and I smile. "You like that huh?" I feel his hands moving to my hips to sit me on his lap. "Hearing how good of a boy you are" I whisper in his ear and leave a kiss behind it. "You don't even know the number of unholy thoughts I have about you Max" My hips grind almost unconsciously against his.
"I h-have too" he admits, never I thought I would see him so nervous.
"you do?" I grind harder and he groans "A good boy with unholy thoughts, dangerous" I smirk and I feel him shiver.
I stand up to close the door and lock it. Once I'm back in front of him I move my hand to the hem of his t-shirt.
"You're so perfect, so pretty, so good" My fingers brush against his skin as I remove the piece of clothing. "Perfect for me"
"I- i'm not" he whispers, i almost didn't hear it.
"You are, and tonight I'm going to show you how worth it and pretty you are" I move my hand along his jawline and tilt his chin to make his eyes look into mine. "You're going to be a good boy and let me show it to you?" he nods, but I can tell he's struggling to let go of the feeling of needing to be the one in charge. "You don't have to have the power all the time and most importantly, you don't have to be in charge right now" I leave a gentle caress on his cheek.
He opens his mouth, like he is about to say something but closes it.
"Good boy" I whisper to stand up, getting rid of his shorts, I kneel down, leaving kisses on his thighs, his well-worked but not-so-marked body would make me wet with just the sight of it. "Such a good boy Maxie" I kiss all over his big thigh, I stand up again and start undressing, my summer-long dress falling to the floor, and taking my underwear off under his following gaze.
"Fuck" he mutters and i smile confidentially.
I remove his boxers, slowly, wanting to take my time with him.
"Please" he whimpers and I smirk. "I need you" he squirms and I take them off completely.
"Eager are we?" I take the silver pack in my hands and ripped it open to put the condom on his cock and I can feel the way it twitches with my touch.
He gets his back against the headboard and I straddle him again, holding his cock in my entrance, doing a circular motion.
"I'm going to reward you today, for being so good" I let a kiss on his forehead and he smiled.
"Am i a good boy?" he whispers along with a sigh.
"The good boy i always knew you were" i stop teasing him and sit down, his length completely inside. "I want to hear you today max"
"H--how?" he says and holds my hips, i was still, trying to adjust to his big cock.
"I want to hear how you sound. stop biting your lip" I pass my finger to undo the bite. starting to move slowly. "good" I smile and lower my face to kiss him as I start to pick up the pace slightly. "You look so good under me" I whisper against his lips.
"You don't know how much i-" he cuts himself as I pick the pace again. He takes a sharp inhale.
"Tell me, babe, I want to know" My lips brushed his cheek. "I want to know what you're feeling".
"I need you to keep talking to me like that" It's hard for him to say the words in between the moans.
"You need to hear how good you are?" I smirk and he nods.
"Please," he whispered, the word barely audible. "I can’t… fuck, I can’t take it," he groaned.
"Yes, you can" i hold his shoulders while my moves turn a bit harder. "Be a good boy for me and release".
He is trying to hold it back and make the moment last, but I know he knows better.
"You're doing so well" i whisper "You don't have to hold back for me, Max. Just let go, I want to see you come undone under me, make a mess". I say but it's more like an order for him.
A deep groan escaped him, his head tilting back against the headboard, his eyes closing as he tried to keep his composure. But the combination of your words, the touch, and the intimacy of the moment was too much for him to handle. His control was already lost and for once, he wasn't fighting it. He was letting himself be vulnerable under me.
"I can’t" His voice was desperate now, his breath coming in short, uneven gasps. "I’m-"
"Let go, i want to see you let go for me"
And with one final move, I felt his body tense, his head falling back against the bed as a guttural moan escaped his lips. He came undone completely. His hands gripped me tightly as he released everything he'd been holding in.
My body shudders and i let out a final moan.
He stares at me a few seconds before i see his lips curve into a smile.
"You did so good" i whisper, my hips still, i was tired, my chest resting against his, my head in the crock of his neck.
"I've never let anyone do that" he whispers"
"Get used" i smirk "i'll never get tired of taking care of you"

So I read this request a day ago and thought of it as really interesting because I'm currently writing a story which is similar to that, so I wanted to give this specific scenario a go.
You haven't mentioned which Gender the Reader should have, so because of the roommate being female (and as far as I know there are no mixed rooms) I will assume that the Reader is female as well.
This is actually my first attempt to write NSFW so I hope it'll be good and let me know how you think of it.
Have fun <3
(Not proof read because it's 1 am and I was too lazy so please excuse any mistakes <3)

Your bag hit the ground the moment you finally closed the door to your dorm room.
Your best friend was currently sitting on her bed, painting her nails, while you let yourself fall onto your bed.
"Everything okay?" She turned her head to you for a second, taking in the little ball you had curled into, before she went back to concentrating on the task ahead.
She knew you had been like this for a few weeks now and she didn't know what was bothering you.
You normally always talked with her about stuff like that, but this time you decided against it. Exam stress was getting to you and you felt as if you weren't doing enough, but it felt stupid to voice it like that.
You knew she would understand and support you, but you still didn't confide in her.
She had been so happy these past few weeks, always meeting up with Changbin and spending time with him, that you didn't want to spoil her mood with yours.
Changbin is a really nice guy and he was making her so happy, sometimes you envied her.
Of course you wished them nothing but happiness, but it often happened, that when you saw them interact, you wished to be able to have someone like that in your life too.
You weren't lucky with boys though. All your relationships had ended on a bad note and you were just annoyed by it at this point.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Are you getting ready for something?" Stupid question. It's Friday. There would obviously be a campus party somewhere.
Students could barely contain their desire to drink and party all week, of course no one would miss the weekend parties.
Normally you would go as well, not as often as your best friend, but also quite often. However you didn't really feel like it the past few weeks and you didn't want to drag anyone down with you.
"Yep, the party is at Changbin's dorm this time. I would have either spend the night with him or at a party anyway so it's pretty convenient." Your best friend answered, while she finally closed the bottle of nail polish.
"You're coming with me, by the way." She nonchalantly added, as she blew on her nails.
"Wait, what? When did I say yes to this plan of yours?" You tilted your head, confusion taking over your features.
Had you promised to go?
"Well you didn't. But I told Changbin I would bring you along. You've been quite down these past few weeks and I wanna cheer you up." She got up from her bed and went over to yours, sitting down next to you.
"Plus you know Changbin's roommate?" Of course you did. Who didn't know him.
"You mean Lee Minho?" Her face lit up at that.
"Exactly! Isn't that enough reason to come? He'll be hanging out with Changbin, I'll be hanging out with Changbin and you'll be hanging out with me." She beamed at you and you could only sigh.
Of course, like everyone, you thought that Minho was very attractive. Hell, their entire group of friends was. But you still felt rather down and meeting someone like him in this condition, wasn't going to get you any plus points with him.
You turned to your friend to tell her that you didn't want to come, when you noticed her smiling down at her phone.
"I'm Telling Changbin you're coming! He missed having you around too." At that point you couldn't say no any longer.
She was being so happy over the fact that you could spend the night together, that you didn't want to let her down again.
"Fine, I'll come."
~
The last few hours had been spend with getting ready and by now, you were already tired.
You didn't know how you'd get through the night, but your best friend was convinced that if you looked hot, you would certainly feel hot and she wasn't wrong.
You did actually feel better, if you didn't think about the tiredness seeping into your bones. An energy drink would fix that.
Your best friend was wearing a pretty white top, that stopped right above her belly-button and a short pinks skirt with high heels.
Her makeup was close to that, but not too much pink.
While you were wearing tight black jeans and a black top that had only one sleeve and also stopped right above your belly-button. However it was also V-formed, showing more of your cleavage than your besties top did.
The dorm wasn't too far so you made your way over there, slowly strolling through the night, which was immediately illuminated by the party lights.
The music was already at full power and you could nearly hear it on the entire campus.
Professors thankfully never minded, so they could keep doing their little parties.
You followed your friend, never letting go of her hand as she lead you inside the dorm, finally meeting up with Changbin.
"Hey baby, you're here." He pulled her closer by her waist and planted a soft kiss onto her lips, which probably would have turned more passionate if you hadn't been standing next to them.
"Hey there little one, I missed you." The taller male greeted you by ruffling your hair up.
"Missed you too." You replied while your eyes scanned the room.
It was already extremely full and it was only 11 pm. You didn't want to know how full it could get.
You had been to quite a few parties but you were always amazed how many people actually fit into these dorms.
They weren't small but they weren't exactly big either.
Changbin had been playing beer pong with some guys until we had interrupted him. So he resumed in doing so, while one of his arms was securely wrapped around your friends waist.
"Binnie." Your best friend whined and he chuckled.
"Sorry guys, finish without me." He turned to her and kissed her, before leading you two away.
"Minho just wrote me telling me he's on his way back with Chan." Changbin commented as he made his way through the crowd and into the kitchen, offering us something to drink.
"Where did they go?"
"They went to get the others. Jeongin was at his parents for a few hours and Chan and Minho went to get him." The older answered, while giving us two glasses.
Not even seconds after he had given them to us, the crowd outside got louder.
"Seems like they're back." Changbin chuckled and went to meet up with them. We followed him closely.
"Hey, look who is finally out of her prison." Chan joked as he side-hugged you.
You had become friends with most of them after your best friend started dating Changbin so this was pretty normal behaviour.
"Sorry, sorry, didn't know I was missed so much." You chuckled as you leaned into Chan's side, when your eyes found Minho's.
You never knew what he was thinking. Could never figure him out. He was a mystery to you and many others.
Chan left first, going to greet some friends while Changbin, Minho, your friend and you made your way to the terrace to get some air.
A lot of people were out here as well but you all sat down on the couch.
"Let's play a game." Someone suggested and everyone agreed on truth or dare. The typical party game that everyone loved to participate in when their brains were non-functional.
You were sipping on your drink while the game commenced.
Till now you had been playing it safe, mostly taking truth, as you knew not many would pick up on it due to being drunk. However someone did pick up on it.
"Three time in a row. You have to pick dare." Minho said as he leaned back on the couch, his eyes fixed on you.
It had been Changbin who had spun the bottle, so why was he interfering?
You said but complied, picking dare this time, which made Changbin grin.
"Kiss Minho."
You were left speechless for a moment. Of course you knew how the game worked, but you hadn't expected this from Changbin. He always went easy on you, which is why you hadn't really been worried when the bottle picked you.
"What, never kissed anyone? I won't bite unless you want me to." Minho commented, a smirk finding its way onto his lips.
You got up from your place, walking over to Minho.
People were sitting next to him so you couldn't do so to kiss him. While you were still contemplating what to do, his hand found your waist and pulled you onto his lap.
"Not so shy." How could you not be, when you were about to kiss the Lee Minho?
Your thighs were on either side of him, as his hands still kept a steady grip on your waist. You leaned in closer, stopping right before your lips could touch his.
At this point both of your eyes were fixed on the others lips and you could feel his smirk on yours.
"What are you waiting for, Princess?"
That's all it took for you to connect your lips.
The kiss was slow at first. Your lips still finding the perfect rhythm to move against each other. However, it didn't take long before the kiss got more heated. He bit your lower lip, asking for entrance which you immediately complied with.
His tongue found its way into your space, exploring your mouth while you tilted your head to deepen the kiss.
It didn't take long for his tongue to find yours, his hands moving up and down your waist at this point while you could feel that you were sitting atop his member, as he got hard.
Your hands found their way into his hair, holding onto him as you moved your hips for a second, making him bite your tongue at the movement which made you gasp in return.
You both parted from each other, a delicate string of saliva still connecting your lips to each other, as you tried to breathe in as much air as possible. This being the only reason you parted in the first place.
The game had commenced while you two had been shamelessly making out and you finally realised that you two weren't alone.
You immediately got off his lap and went back to your place, however your lips were still burning with the feeling of his on them.
The game got boring soon and most disappeared back inside, including Changbin and your friend, while you were now sitting next to Minho, still outside.
He was smoking a cigarette right now, accompanying it with a glass of vodka.
You never really smiled but at this point and the level of drunk you currently were at, you were curious.
"Let me try."
Minho turned his eyes to you, the cigarette still on his lips. He seemed to contemplate it for a moment, until a smirk formed on his lips.
"Sure, but allow me to try something." You didn't really mind. He is Changbin's friend so you trusted him as well.
He took a deep drag of his cigarette, before his long fingers found their way onto your chin, pulling you closer without a word. They put slight pressure on your chin, which made you part your lips and you immediately understood, parting them a little more.
He came closer to you, your nose nearly touching his as he leaned his head to the side, to blow the smoke inside of your mouth. You inhaled, but he didn't give you a lot of time to think as his lips smashed onto your again.
The smoke not being the only thing that went into your mouth as his tongue followed suit. You held onto his shirt, returning the kiss while his hands found their way to your ass, squeezing them for a second before he lifted you onto his lap by your waist.
You immediately adjusted to the situation, sitting up slightly. Your hands finding his neck as you returned the kiss. Your tongue finding his, the fight for dominance not taking long as Minho immediately won it.
You both parted again, out of breathe. It was way too hot between you two. And you both wanted nothing more than to taste the other.
Without a word he picked you up, your legs wrapping around his torso as he carried you to his room.
His room was a no-go zone at parties like these. Everyone knew that. The moment he entered you noticed that the room was empty. He closed the door behind you two, locking it before he resumed his way to his bed, letting you fall on it.
Minho didn't wait for another second, his lips were on your neck this time, as his hands found your waist again. His lips were leaving butterfly kisses all over your neck before he finally found a spot he was satisfied with.
His lips latched onto the soft skin and he sucked on it. Gaining a sweet moan from your lips. He grinned, finally letting go of the skin, admiring the dark hickey that was forming.
"You're okay with this, right?" He asked, just to be completely sure, before you two went any further.
Your nod was more than clear, however that wasn't enough for Minho.
"I need your words, Princess." Those words went straight to your core and it needed a lot of self-control to not cum untouched.
"Yes, please." You didn't need to tell him twice. He removed your shirt from you, his hands immediately unclasping your bra as well as his lips found their way onto your chest.
Soft butterfly kisses littered it at first, before his mouth found one of your nipples catching them between his teeth. At first he softly licked it, watching goosebumps erupt all over your skin before he softly bit it, again pulling a moan out of your throat.
Your sweet sounds were going straight to his member but he tried to control his desires, wanting to prep you enough for him.
You could feel yourself getting wet and it only got worse the more he continued. You needed to feel him inside of you, but you could barely form thoughts, let alone words. Everything felt so good for your touch starved body. And it didn't help that Minho was so perfect at everything he did.
He stopped torturing your breasts, continuing his journey down, a soft kiss on your belly-button and you felt his teeth on the hem of your pants. His hands skilfully opened them before he pulled them down and threw them away.
Just as he had done with your shirt and bra.
"Already so wet for me. What a good little, Kitten." A whimper escaped your lips the moment you felt his hand on your inner thigh, moving closer to your heated core.
"Minho." You managed to moan but the boy only smirked as he moved your drenched panties aside to let one finger graze your folds. He was only rubbing them slowly, but this was enough for you to arch your back already. His fingers felt so good, you could barely wait for them to finally enter you.
"You want me so bad?" He looked up at you as you nodded as much as you could. "I will need your words, Princess."
"Yes, please Minho-..." A moan escaped your lips as his finger entered you. Your hands found the blanket behind you, as you had nothing else to hold onto.
He moved his finger slowly at first but the moment he felt you losing your mind his pace picked up, hitting all the right places.
You were so close to your release when you felt a second finger entering you. You pushed your head into the mattress, trying to ground your thoughts but everything felt so hot. You could barely wait any longer.
"I'm so close." You whined which only made him pick up his pace.
"The cum for me, Princess." Seconds passed after his sentence before your orgasm came crashing down on you. He helped you ride it out until he pulled out his fingers, licking them clean.
"you taste so good." He chuckled.
"You made such a mess, only because of my fingers?" You blushed. "Let's see what a mess you'll make for more." He knew he prepped her enough so he finally got rid of his clothes as well, letting his member finally out of its confinement and you understood why he had to prep you so good.
His member was a sight to behold and you could feel yourself getting wet again only at the sight of it.
He got on top of you, pulling a condom out of his drawer before you stopped him.
"It's fine, I'm on birth control." You needed to feel him inside of you, without a condom.
"Are you sure?" He asked, wanting to be completely sure that you were okay with this.
"Yes."
He threw the pack of condoms away, not wanting to waste another second on them before he connected his lips with yours again.
The kiss was as messy as the first ones but this time you could feel him positioning himself at your entrance.
He broke the kiss, his eyes finding yours. Analysing if there was any doubt before he pushed the tip in slowly.
Your warm walls immediately welcoming him.
"Fuck, you're so tight." He moaned as he slowly kept pushing his member deeper. You were holding onto him, your nails surely leaving marks on his back as your back softly arched. You needed him inside of you, all of him.
He finally bottomed in, giving you a moment to adjust to his size before he pulled out nearly completely only to push it inside a little more forcefully this time.
His groan and your moan mixed as he kept a fixed pace. Your back arched as his member hit your sweet spot every time he pushed it back inside of you. His hands holding your hips so that he could burry himself as deep as possible.
You felt so good around him, your pussy clenching around him as you felt yourself getting closer.
One of his hands moved to your clit, softly rubbing it as he thrust into you, making you scream his name out in pleasure.
You were happy it was so nosy outside, or everyone would have probably heard you two. It was impossible to contain your moans.
"I'm close." He notified, hid hold on your waist tightening.
"Please come inside." You moaned, wanting to feel the warmth of his cum inside of you, to fill you up with it.
"You you want me to fill you up with my cum?" You didn't have to look at him to see the grin.
"Such a needy, whiny brat. If I had known this we would have done this earlier. So good for me. You better take it all. Every drop." He chuckled as his thrusts got sloppier and harder.
You were close, your pussy clenching around his member which made him groan.
"Clenching so good around me, such a good girl."
This only threw you over the edge, your pussy clenching around him as you arched your back, your orgasm hitting you like a truck for the second time.
He helped you ride it out, his thrusts not faltering as his pace only picked up, indicating that he was getting closer to his release.
You felt overstimulated, your pussy was burning as you tried to match him but there was no need, as he came only a few moments after you had.
His hot cum filling your walls as he held your hips still to push his member as deep inside of you as he could.
His back was arched as he threw his head back, your pussy so tight around him that it felt as if it was squeezing every drop out of his members.
"So greedy." He chuckled as he pulled out, admiring the mess you two had made.
"I told you to take it all, Princess."
He teased as he noticed some of his cum sliding out of your hole, only to push int inside with his finger again, making you moan in the process.
Your clit was extremely sensitive and every touch felt burning hot.
"Min, mhh." His eyes focused back on your fucked out state and he grinned, pulling his finger out of you and in front of your lips.
"Taste our mess." You immediately parted your lips taking his fingers into your mouth and licking them clean.
"What an obedient Kitten."
You were exhausted at this point, hoping that he wouldn't make you leave now, but it seemed as if he had no intention to do so.
He pulled you closer to him, covering you both with a blanket.
"Rest for now, let's clean this mess up later." A soft kiss was placed onto the back of your neck as you back was pressed to his chest, his hands secured around your torso.
It didn't take long for your eyes to shut and for you to fall asleep next to him.
No one had ever made you feel as good as Minho had, and you were certainly hoping this wasn't the first and last time you did this.

model!Eddie x fem!fashion designer!reader
summary: your designs are finally being showcased in a magazine, but it turns out that you slept with the model the night before
cw: MDNI (18+) backseat make out session, Eddie sucks on readers tits, reader receives a hickey
Not proofread!
You entered the building, nerves building up in your stomach. You were so excited but nervous to finally see your designs on someone who wasn’t yourself or one of your friends. The rumor was that they had actually gotten Eddie Munson to do it and you couldn’t have been more honored to have the biggest male model wear your clothes.
You greeted everyone you passed and they all returned warm smiles as you headed towards where you needed to be. The place was packed and it seemed like they all had a job to do which made you feel better than everything that was being done was for you and your photo shoot.
After looping around in a circle and asking for multiple directions, you finally got where you had been instructed to go and Wren, the photographer rushed towards you with open arms. Thank god, someone who was a hugger.
“There she is!” She smiled and pulled you into a tight hug has if you had been old friends and you took it, grateful for the gesture.
“Hey!” You greeted, pulling away. “I’m not late am I?”
“Yes and no.”
“Yes and no?” How could it be both?
“Yes, technically, but no because the model isn’t even here.” Of course.
“He’s not?” You didn’t know why you were surprised. He had a very bad reputation including being late to everything including thing like being late to his job where he was getting paid.
“No, he’s not. He’s in his way, but I heard that he was out late last night.” Another thing was that he was almost always getting drunk, even the night before a shoot. What a walking stereotype.
You were about to panic when someone bumped into you, causing you to spill the coffee you were holding. The brown liquid spread all over the floor and you just stood there, making no move to clean it up. You were moved out of the way as someone came with a roll of paper towels to clean up the mess.
You turned around to see who you had run into and you gasped. It was the guy who you had hooked up with the night before. He was the model?? He was Eddie Munson? You couldn’t blame yourself for not recognizing him since both the bar and his apartment had very low lighting. And the beard he had been sporting had been shaved, making him look much younger than he was.
“What are you doing here?” You asked at the same time.
“You’re wearing my designs,” you answered.
“And I’m the model.” Right, of course. You knew that. But everything was starting to feel like something out of a movie. Of course the one time you intend on having a one night stand, it turned out that you were going to be working together.
“You lied to me.” You crossed your arms over your chest and he mimicked your actions, forming his eyes into a glare.
“How?”
“You said your name was Ed.” You felt ridiculous for calling him for something as silly as that, but you just felt like you should have been upset.
“It’s a nickname for Eddie so it wasn’t a lie. And you’re one to talk, you said your name was Daisy.” You supposed you couldn’t blame him for that one, but you only did that for your safety.
“Because I’ve learned to not give people my real name because they get a little crazy.” Eddie only scoffed at that.
“I’d hate to break up this reunion, but we’re running behind, so can we get this started?” Wren interrupted. You turned to her, suddenly remembering why you were there. This was way more important than some stupid spat with someone you didn’t even know.
Eddie was pulled off to wardrobe and you just stood there, seeing that Wren was talking to you, but not hearing the words that were coming out of her mouth. You were too in shock. You didn’t know why, but it was surprising. Out of all the losers you had been with, you had finally gotten someone who had made a name for himself.
All of a sudden, you were being led to wardrobe because they wanted your input on the outfits Eddie was going to be put in and you put on a smile, trying your best to forget the events of the night before. You could still hear Eddie’s moans, his mouth licking and sucking on your cunt, the way he fucked you senseless until you were sure that you couldn’t walk.
The head of the department showed you the rack and let you pick what you wanted Eddie to wear for the first set of photos. You settled on your favorite. It was a black suit covered in black sequins that took you fucking hours to do and it made everyone who had tried it on look like a dream.
You turned away as the woman helped Eddie into the suit even though you were sure that he wouldn’t have minded and the fact that you had seen all of him only hours before. But this was a professional setting and you both needed to be as such even though it was not professional in the slightest to sleep with people you were working with.
Once Eddie was dressed, you turned back around and your eyes lit up. You were convinced that he was able to pull off anything and it was almost unfair. The suit fit like a glove, almost as if he was made for him. It looked so good and you were eager to see what it looked like with the hair and makeup that had yet to be done.
You headed back to the shoot area and waited for Eddie to be ready. Over time, your anger at each other had dissipated and your attraction had only grown. There was something about seeing him in the stuff that you designed made you wet.
He emerged from hair and makeup and you were sure that your underwear couldn’t get any more damp. His hair was teased in a messy look and black eyeshadow was packed into his eyelids with eyeliner lining his waterline.
He moved to the backdrop and Wren headed over to the camera to get things started. Watching Eddie pose, it was clear why he had become such a big name in the industry. He was a natural and it was obvious that the camera loved him.
And he was so complimentary, letting you know exactly how much he loved every single article of clothing. You didn’t even care if he was just trying to flatter you, you were so close to letting him take everything home. It had been collecting dust in your closet anyway.
No wonder everyone was so impressed by him. Maybe the rumors were all untrue. Sure, he had been late, but he had more than made up for it for his behavior. He was so nice to everyone working on the shoot, thanking them for their work and making them laugh.
After a long day and multiple outfits later, the shoot was over and you and Eddie gushed over the photos. His hand rested on your back as he whispered in your ear, being nothing but sweet, telling how much he liked the outfits. So, that was how he ended up taking them all home, promising to wear them any chance he got.
So, the two of you left the building hand in hand, feeling good with the results of the shoot and you lingered at his car, neither one of you wanting to be the one to say goodbye first. You couldn’t. Not when he looked so fucking hot in his makeup, the red lipstick and gloss making his lips so much more inviting. Not when he had a perfectly good backseat that both of you could fit in.
You grabbed him by his shirt and pressed your lips to his roughly, Eddie taking no time to respond to it, one of his arms wrapping around your shoulders while the other rested against your back. You were both so desperate for each other, wanting to take whatever you could. Your hands went to his jaw, moving his head so you could have more access to his mouth as you licked into it.
He pushed you against the car and brought your tongue between his lips and gave it a suck which caused you to let out a whimper which caused a tent to form in his pants. He had wanted to hear that sound since you had made it the night before, the exact noise had been ringing in his ears ever since.
Eddie gave your tongue one more suck which elicited a moan from you, causing him to pull away before opening the door to the backseat. You nodded and slid across the seat, him following you before slamming the door closed. You both kicked off your socks and shoes and Eddie unbuttoned your shirt as he laid you down in the backseat.
“No bra, hm? How scandalous.”
“Left it at your place remember?” He did remember. The lacy thing was still on the floor of his room. “It doesn’t matter, though anyway. It’ll just slow it down.”His lips immediately went to your chest as he gave your tits some love, licking and sucking your nipples, just as he did the night before.
“God, I love your tits,” he said, his breathing labored and his voice raspy. He was so hot that it was almost unfair. He mouth was on your nipple again as he licked and sucked again, warming you up before he brought the thing between his teeth giving it a pull.
“Oh, my god,” you moaned and he bit down harder, loving to hear the sounds that escaped your lips. “Fuck, you really know what you’re doing.”
“I remember what you like,” he winked and move onto your other nipple, pulling it between his teeth and biting down the hardest that he could without actually hurting you. He kissed his way down to your stomach and you thought he was going to pull off your pants, but he didn’t. He just moved his way back before attaching his lips to yours in a bruising kiss.
He licked into your mouth and you wrapped your mouth around it, giving it a suck. He whimpered at the sensation then quickly pulled away, giving you a glare.
“Hey,” he whined. “That’s my move.”
“You’re just mad that I do it better than you.” You did, you really did. He’d let you steal his moves any time.
“Oh, honey, you do everything better than me,” he winked and pulled off his shirt before pressing his lips to yours again, softer this time.
He put his full weight on top of you, his hands grabbing onto yours, intertwining your fingers together. His lips were so soft despite them being chapped and they tasted just as good as they did the night before with the mixture of tobacco and mint. How that combination tasted so good, you had no idea.
Eddie kissed you until you both were breathless and his lips moved down to your neck and he pressed open-mouthed kisses to the skin before giving it a gentle suck, just light enough for you to let out a gasp. Eddie then sucked a little harder and you moaned, maybe a little too loudly, but he was eating it up.
He loved your moans. They were always an indicator that he was doing things right. He has slept with more women he could count, but none of them had ever been as enthusiastic as you had, not even with making out with him. They were all just eager for his dick, but he had admired that you were different from them.
His teeth grazed the sensitive spot and you moaned even louder, his dick getting even harder at the sound. You felt it against you and your pussy got even more wet at the thought of him getting inside you, but you didn’t have it in you at the moment.
“Oh, Eddie,” you moaned and he took that as an invitation to continue, letting his teeth slide against the sensitive spot even harder. “So good.”
He gave the spot another suck, this one, the hardest hi could manage and your hands moved to his back, digging your fingers into the skin. As he licked and sucked, you continued to moan, eventually scratching up and down his back and he was loving it.
Once he felt like he marked you up enough, he pulled you into another kiss, this one softer and sweeter than all of the others. His lips moved against yours, as if he had all the time in the word as his head moved this way and that, wanting to reach every part of your lips that he could.
Eddie then pulled away, the two of you breathing heavily and looked down at you, still loving the way you looked with his lipstick smeared all over you. He’d definitely have to do that more often. That was, if you’d give him another chance. Maybe he’d take you on a date. And maybe if that date went well, he’d be able to call you his girlfriend. He would’ve liked that. He would have liked that a lot.
He laid his head on your chest and your hands moved up to his hair, scratching his head. Maybe if you had played your card right, he’d give you another chance. Maybe he’d take you on a date. And maybe if that date went well, you’d be able to call him your boyfriend. You would’ve liked that. You would have liked that a lot.

hello! can i have a bouquet with carnations, daisies, and petunias with aventurine? thank you! (yes, they are connected as one fic :))
𓍢ִ໋love blooms with aventurine prompts: walking in the park - carnation, collecting flowers on their way home - daisies and realizing their feelings - petunias notes: modern au, pining & soft aventurine! i did hit a writing block while writing yours so i didn't fulfill your request as you like but i hope you like this event masterlist  𝜗𝜚 hsr masterlist
the sun dipped below the horizon casting an ethereal glow across the sky as if aeon themself had painted the sky with a masterpiece of soft pinks, oranges, and purples. it was a perfect evening for a stroll through the park, well, afterall, it was tradition for you and aventurine. you knew him ever since you were little, growing up side by side, the lives of aventurine and name were forever inexorably intertwined.
aventurine plucked a peony from a bush from a neighor’s bush on the way to the park. “y’know, i read these represent luck, i mean, i have all the luck i need but you need this for sure.”
“just because you won six games of monopoly, doesn’t mean-”
as he held the flower to you, you realized something. aventurine laughed, imagining a lightbulb above your head. you pushed him playfully; he stumbled a little from the sidewalk. you gasped, “did you really picked a flower from the oak family’s bush? don’t you know sunday-”
he quickly interjected, “what he doesn’t know doesn't hurt him. c’mon, you know that pink isn’t his color, it’s better off being on you.” he picked off the excessive leaves on the flower before putting it above your ear.
“aven, we should run.” he noticed your eyes flickering to the corner of the gated manor. was it worth being here and risky? yes. is he scared? kind of, hoping you don’t call his buff and kept his right hand behind.
he blew air in your face as you rolled your eyes, “why?”
“sunday has cameras.”
you shook your head to your right, the direction where the park is. he nodded,
“... lets go.”
the two ran from the gated house, he only stopped on the way to the clockmaker’s park, a national park in penacony, to celebrate whatever with whatever. it doesn’t really matter. what matters is that the peony is losing petals and what if you’re losing the luck he gave with it.
“wait, stop.”
“what? i thought you were scared of sunday’s hounds after us.. err, you.” you replied, but you stopped away. aventurine’s hand brushed against your face, he adjusted the flower, making sure it looked full.
“didn’t want you losing the petals…”  he murmured as he abruptly turned away from you, grabbing your hand. if you squinted, you could see a hint of pink reaching to the tips of his ears. he’s cute… in a totally platonic way!
“uh-huh, so what? don’t need a flower when i have you, right?”
he coughed loudly, his pace getting faster and it was hard to catch up. but you managed, taking longer strides to keep up. his mind raced between a response between “you don’t mean that.”, which exposes his feelings about you or he could play along, pretending everything is fine and he doesn’t think about being yours. aeons, he could only hope he doesn’t look flustered.
did he even reply?
“aventurine? we’re at our spot, you okay?” you asked, he could see the concern in your eyes.
“of course, i am. why?”
“just wondering! do you think the flowers we planted are still there or did the organiziton or whatever pluck them out?”
“personally, i think they gave up but they probably did. stupid bloodhounds.”
aventurine clicked his tongue as the both of you tucked your heads under a hedge. it took a while to get to the place, hidden under the bushes of the park. he replied, “personally, i think they gave up but they probably did. stupid bloodhounds.”
you gently pushed him away, “don’t say that outloud, i think they have spies.”
he laughed, “c’mon, the only one i’m afraid of is gallagher but other than him, i’m basically fearless.”
“yeah right.”

Second Chance

“Hi, kid.”
I grinned at the familiar voice as I closed the door behind me.
“Hey, Becky.”
The woman smiled at me as I threw my bag onto the open bed. I hadn’t exactly expected Jill to room me with Becky again, but it was nice. Becky had helped to make sure that I actually got to bed at a responsible time and that I wasn’t late to any meetings or practices. After all, it had been quite easy for me to get distracted by everything else.
“Did you get to go to the lake?”
“Yeah, we went for a couple of days,” I admitted.
Becky nodded at that before she turned back to the book that she was reading. I tilted my head as I read the title.
“ The Portrait of Dorian Gray ,” I read off the spin. Becky looked up at me with a raised eyebrow. “I’ve never read it.”
“I could read it out loud, if you’d like.”
I smiled at Becky as I nodded. Becky looked back down at the book as I kicked my shoes off.
“‘I have always been my own master; had at least always been so, till I met Dorian Gray. Then--but I don't know how to explain it to you. Something seemed to tell me that I was on the verge of a terrible crisis in my life. I had a strange feeling that Fate had in store for me exquisite joys and exquisite sorrows. I grew afraid, and turned to quit the room. It was not conscience that made me do so: it was a sort of cowardice. I take no credit to myself for trying to escape.’”
I grinned as Becky read the words on the pages. I knew that we had at least an hour, if not two, until our meeting started since they were still waiting on quite a few players to get into the hotel. I didn’t give Becky time to start the next paragraph as I crawled into her bed before ducking my head under her left arm so I could look at the pages. Becky stayed silent for a moment as I got comfortable.
It wasn’t until I had settled down and stopped moving that Becky continued.
“‘Conscience and cowardice are really the same things, Basil. Conscience is the trade name of the firm. That is all.’
‘I don't believe that, Harry, and I don't believe you do either. However, whatever was my motive--and it may have been pride, for I used to be very proud--I certainly struggled to the door. There, of course, I stumbled against Lady Brandon. 'You are not going to run away so soon, Mr. Hallward?' she screamed out. You know her curiously shrill voice?’”
Becky’s voice was definitely one of the most soothing voices I had ever heard. Maybe she could become a professional audiobook reader or something like that once she retired from playing. Or even just take it up during the off-season. I wouldn’t mind listening to Becky read me more books if her voice was always this soothing.
“‘Yes; she is a peacock in everything but beauty,’ said Lord Henry, pulling the daisy to bits with his long, nervous fingers.
‘I could not get rid of her. She brought me up to Royalties, and people with Stars and Garters, and elderly ladies with gigantic tiaras and parrot noses. She spoke of me as her dearest friend. I had only met her once before, but she took it into her head to lionize me. I believe some picture of mine had made a great success at the time, at least had been chattered about in the penny newspapers, which is the nineteenth-century standard of immortality. Suddenly I found myself face to face with the young man whose personality had so strangely stirred me. We were quite close, almost touching. Our eyes met again. It was reckless of me, but I asked Lady Brandon to introduce me to him. Perhaps it was not so reckless, after all. It was simply inevitable. We would have spoken to each other without any introduction. I am sure of that. Dorian told me so afterwards. He, too, felt that we were destined to know each other.’”
I couldn’t find it in myself to fight off the sleep as Becky’s voice lulled me into darkness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Hey, pipsqueak.”
I looked at Hope who had sat down across from me. I titled my head at her sudden presence. I knew that she often sat at the table with Carli and Christie during our meals. But they were both seated at a table that was behind Hope.
“Hi, Hope.”
I looked over my shoulder where most of the team was still getting their food. Being small did come with advantages, such as being small enough to get around everyone so I could be one of the first to get my food. I spotted Becky and Alyssa who were just now grabbing their own plates to fill them up. I turned back to look at Hope.
“Look, I just came to say that maybe you aren’t that bad.”
I raised my eyebrows at that. Hope complimenting me had been the last thing I was expecting. After all, we still weren’t getting along that well. It seemed like we both tolerated each other just enough for a fight not to break out during practice, but that didn’t stop the two of us from exchanging words during practice.
“I mean, don’t get me wrong,” Hope said as she kept her eyes trained on her plate as she stabbed some of the food with her fork. “You still aren’t better than I am. But that doesn’t mean you aren’t helping us out.”
I stayed silent, causing Hope to look up at me. She just stared back at me. I was trying to figure out if this was some kind of joke or something.
“Who are you and what have you done with Hope Solo?”
Hope chuckled at that as she nodded.
“That’s cute, pipsqueak.”
“No seriously. Hope Solo would never compliment me. We go at each other’s throats,” I said as I shook my head. I turned my attention back to my plate. Hope had to be seriously sick if she was being nice to me all of a sudden. “Mine and Hope’s relationship does not consist of us being nice to each other. We’re like sweet potatoes and mustard. They don’t go together. I don’t give a shit what Mick says either. He’s a weirdo for eating sweet potatoes and mustard.”
“No, I’m serious, Jo,” Hope said. I paused at that before I looked up at Hope. “Can you just take the compliment?”
I shook my head. I really couldn’t.
At least not from Hope.
This was too weird. Hope wasn’t supposed to be nice to me. She wasn’t supposed to compliment me.
“Is everything okay over here?”
Hope and I both looked at Becky who took a seat next to me. I sent Becky a small smile before I turned back to Hope. I slowly nodded my head as I realized just what this was about.
“You’re being nice 'cause I saved your ass in the goal.”
“Jo! Language!”
I rolled my eyes at that. I already had a mom at home, I didn’t need Becky deciding to mother me while I was at camp too.
“No.”
“You said that way too fast for it to be true! This is about me saving you in the goal.” I grinned as I glanced at Alyssa who sat next to Becky. So it wasn’t because Hope actually wanted to get to know me. “You just feel bad that you tried acting all tough and like you could stop me and then you couldn’t back it up and I had to save the game against France so we didn’t draw again.”
“I don’t need help in the goal, pipsqueak .”
“Sure you don’t.”
It felt good knowing that Hope had felt bad after I saved her skin.
“You could have just said thank you.”
“Jo,” Becky said. I looked over at her as I raised my eyebrows. I wasn’t too sure why she really cared what happened between Hope and me. “Just take the compliment.”
“But she’s only saying it because I made the stop on the goal line.”
“Jo. Take the compliment.”
My jaw slacked a bit at that. I couldn’t believe that Becky was actually taking Hope’s side.
“Thank you for the compliment,” I said once I eventually turned back to Hope. The goalie smirked at me as she stood up. I rolled my eyes as I lowered my voice. “Good thing you’re good at soccer. Cause the porch light’s on, but there ain’t no one home.”
It wasn’t until Hope was well out of earshot that I felt the hand connect with the back of my head.
“Ow!”
“You’re lucky she didn’t hear that comment,” Becky hissed quietly. I slumped back against my chair at that. I really wasn’t in the mood for another lecture. “I get it. You don’t get along with Hope and you might never get along with Hope, but she’s our goalie. You are going to have to stop trying to provoke her.”
“She doesn’t treat me fairly. Why should I be the one to have to extend the olive branch?” I asked as I leaned forward to get closer to Becky. “She’s the adult. I’m only fifteen.”
“Jo-”
“No, it’s bullshit.”
“Langauge.”
“And I don’t need another mom. I already have one.”
Becky sighed as she leaned back in her own chair. I looked away from her.
“What if I talk to Hope?”
Becky and I both looked over at Alyssa. I had honestly forgotten that she was sitting at the table with us because of how quiet she had been. It was something that Becky told me I would have to get used to though.
“As if that would make it any better.”
“That would be great. Thank you, Alyssa.”
I huffed as I pushed myself away from the table. I had already finished my plate and if it gave me an excuse to be away from Alyssa and Becky right now, I would take it. I didn’t need everyone else fighting my battles for me. It was part of the problem. If everyone else fought my battles for me then no one would ever take me seriously.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“So, I heard that you and Hope got into it,” Jill said as I was wrapping my hand. I sighed as I looked up at her. “Is there a problem that I, as the coach, need to address between you two?”
“No.”
Jill nodded her head slowly as she still looked down at me as I finished wrapping my hand. I rubbed the bridge of my nose before looking back up at her.
“Is there anything else?”
“I really hoped that you and Hope would have gotten over this by now,” Jill said. I softly groaned as my shoulders slumped forward. “I’ll be honest with you, kid. I want to call you up for the August game and September-”
“I get it,” I assured her. I glanced at where the rest of the team was getting ready. Even though I had been friendly enough with Alyssa and Becky, the rest still seemed hesitant to get close to me. “Who wants a kid on their team when they’re the best in the world?”
“Jolene, that isn’t it.”
“Isn’t it?”
I looked away from Jill and down at my shoes. I knew that it was. It wasn’t the first time I had been left behind because I was the youngest one, and I doubted that it would be the last.
“Jo, you’re gonna be called to the U-20 team in just days,” Jill said as she bent down so that we were equal in height. “I encouraged them to do so. I think it would be a great opportunity.”
I looked back over to the rest of the team. But my eyes zeroed in on Hope. I knew what she would say when she found out that I wouldn’t be called to the team in August or September.
“The U-20 World Cup will be over before August. So what’s the point in keeping me out of the September camp?”
Hope would only boost and brag if I was gone longer than I needed to be. Plus, I didn’t want to lose the pace of play that came with the national team if I was gone for too long.
“Because you’re only fifteen, Jo. You will have to go to school and finish your education,” Jill said. I looked back at her. I didn’t care about that, I just cared about my future in soccer. “If your grades suffer too much, then I can’t call you up. You will be gone until late August if you guys make it to the finals.”
“So why have me go to the U-20 team instead of getting more practice with the senior team?”
“Because the U-20 team is going to a World Cup. It might not be the World Cup you were hoping for, but it will give you a taste of what it will be like next year,” Jill said as she sighed. I wondered if she would ever get tired of me and all my questions. “You’ll be expected to be a leader on the U-20 team as you’ve already been called up to the senior team. That will also be a good experience for you. I don’t expect that you’ll be seen as a leader on this team for years, maybe not until I’m gone even, but it will happen eventually, and leading a team at a World Cup, even a youth one, will be good for you.”
“Yeah, sure.”
Jill sighed as she patted my leg before standing up. If I had to prove myself to Jill at the youth level again, I was going to do it. Nothing would stop me from winning gold in August. Maybe then, the rest of the team would also start to see me as more than just some kid.

They both have different stories when asked, “When did you first meet?”
Steve says it was in school, along the hallways with freshman Steve Harrington and sophomore Eddie Munson locking eyes for the first time. Eddie says it was in a party, drinking beer and selling drugs, a transaction.
Wayne Munson knows the truth. The truth that way before monsters, way before creatures from games came true, way before the end of the world, way before everything, that Eddie and Steve have already met.
Wayne remembers that day so clearly. A social worker coming to his work in the middle of the day looking for him. Something about Wayne being the closest relative, about his brother going to jail and his mother running away.
Eddie's been living alone for two weeks. Two weeks. Cooking and cleaning for himself, the only reason it got suspicious is because he didn't go to school and one of his teachers called home.
He watches as Eddie swings himself at the empty playground. He brought Eddie here because— where do you bring children? Playgrounds are perfect right? He doesn't have the slightest idea as to what he's doing.
Sometimes in the morning, Wayne doesn't even have clothes to wear because he forgot to do the laundry. It's the same reason he doesn't have a wife and children. If he can't take care of himself, how could he take care of a whole other human being?
Out of nowhere, there's a kid running to the playground. Stopping just in front of Eddie and introducing himself with a bright smile.
His nephew stares at the boy for a few seconds before answering, "Hi, I am Eddie."
Wayne listens to them chatter for a few more minutes, before the boy asks if Eddie wants to be pushed.
Eddie's still giving the other boy a look of disbelief, before he finally says yes.
The boy's guardian sits beside Wayne. She looks better off, with an expensive looking coat and purse. But there's a warm, comforting smile on her face.
She turns to Wayne, “Is that your son?”
Wayne turns to her, pursing his lips, “I— Yes— No— It’s complicated.” He sighs. He doesn't even know what Eddie is to him now. “He’s my nephew. I just got custody of him today.”
“Oh.” The woman breathes out. Wayne turns back to the kids, Eddie's laughing now and it's music to his ears.
Wayne spills his heart to the random stranger, some part of his heart knowing that it will be safe with her.
“I don’t know what I am doing. I can barely take care of myself, let alone a child.” Wayne starts, “But he’s never got a good home and I want to give that to him.”
She smiles at him, "Just the fact that you want to give him a good home is telling me that you’ll be just fine. Don’t overthink it, life’s too short for that.”
It hits Wayne straight to his chest. He still doesn't know what exactly to do, but he feels better knowing that he has a chance to give Eddie the home he deserves.
“Thank you.” Wayne says, smiling at the woman as they watch the kids giggle and play.
“Steve’s your boy?” Wayne asks.
She beams back at him, answering without missing a beat, “Yeah, he’s my boy. Not my son, just my nephew. But I love him like he’s mine.”
Oh. Well, isn't that just perfect? Wayne softens and thinks— huh— she does understand.
When the time comes, Wayne watches as Eddie says a tearful goodbye with the other boy. There's daisies in his hair, like it grows right with his hair and Eddie has one tucked between his ears. It's intimate, the picture perfect to describe puppy love.
Eddie stands and waves at the boy's moving car, until he can't even see it anymore. And then, Eddie looks at him, "Where do I go now?"
Wayne stoops on his knees to see him eye to eye, "You're coming home with me. But before that we're gonna go get some milkshakes, does that sound good with you, Ed?"
Eddie looks at him curiously, brown eyes staring at him, "Do you have money for that?"
It floors Wayne, how grown up this child is. Eddie deserves to know nothing about this. In his age, he should be thinking about playing and making friends and being a child. No, Eddie is concerned if Wayne has enough money for a fucking milkshake.
"Of course, I have money for that, Ed!" Wayne laughs, patting his head. He stands, hoping it'll hide the pain in his eyes.
"Okay." Eddie answers. Wayne offers his hand for him to take, Eddie stares at it.
"Let's go?" Wayne asks, and Eddie nods, finally taking his hand, "Let's go."
From that day on, Wayne swears to protect Eddie, give him the home he deserves. He changes his shift to the evening one so he can stay home with him, gave him his room so he can have the privacy he deserves. Wayne loves Eddie like he's his own.
Even when Eddie finally comes out, that love didn't falter, "Hey, Wayne?"
Wayne turns to him. Eddie's bigger now, curly hair growing into longer wisps. He's wearing a vest with patches, they sewed it together months ago. "Yeah?"
"Remember that boy? In the playground with daisies in his hair? The day you took me home?" Wayne hums, nodding.
Eddie stares at him, arms crossed like a shield, "Yeah, he was my first love."
Wayne blinks at him.
"And I think— well— I know. I am gay."
Wayne nods, "Alright."
He turns to turn off the stove. Sits down and talks to Eddie, makes sure he knows that he can't be out because it's too dangerous, makes sure he knows that there's nothing wrong with loving another man.
And at the end of the night, Wayne tucks him in, just before he goes to work, kisses his forehead and says him, "I love you, Ed. Nothing will ever change that."
-
It's not until years later that he sees the boy from the playground again. Wayne's pretty sure he saw him in a few of the local papers, but he wasn't really sure, the pictures are too blurry, too small.
But this— this is the clearest picture Wayne has ever seen and he's damn sure that the boy sleeping beside Eddie's hospital bed is the boy with the daisies.
Wayne coughs, and the boy immediately springs back to life. It's odd. It's the same boy, only older. But there's so much weariness in his eyes, the same look Wayne has seen on war veterans. He still has brown hair, smooth and golden.
Eddie wakes up right after him, eyes bleary, with a small smile as soon as he sees him, "Uncle Wayne. I love you."
It's the first thing Eddie's said to him after a week of missing. Wayne chokes with tears. He moves closer to hug Eddie, tears in his eyes.
There was a time that he thought he'd never be able to do this again, that this was the end. Wayne was ready to burn this whole town, the whole world even, for whatever they've been doing to his pure, innocent nephew.
But he's here, alive and awake in front of Wayne and he thinks he can finally, finally breathe again.
"Never do that to me again, Ed. Never."
Eddie chuckles, "Alright. I promise."
"I love you too, okay?" Eddie nods.
They separate and for a few solid seconds, they all just stare at each other before Eddie speaks again, "Oh, uhm, Uncle Wayne, this is Steve. Steve, this is my Uncle Wayne."
Steve immediately stands up, shaking his hand earnestly. Wayne stares at Eddie, waits for any indication that he knows, remembers that this boy was his first love.
Nothing.
Nada.
After breaking every NDA he signed and telling Wayne every little tidbit of his crazy week, Eddie finally falls asleep again with the help of a handful of drugs.
Wayne takes his chance, just before Steve goes to go and check on their other friend, the Mayfield kid.
"Hey, kid?" Steve stops on his tracks, before facing him.
"Sir?"
Wayne scoffs, "None of that Sir stuff. Wayne would do. I just have a question."
"What is it, si— Wayne?" Steve blinks at him, lips pursing at the obvious mistake.
"Do you have an aunt?" Steve looks visibly taken back, eyes widening.
"Yes. I have." He blanches, "I did."
Oh. Oh, no.
"You did?" Wayne asks; he knows what the answer is but he still wants to know what happened to that woman from the playground that day. The same one that he still thinks of when he has a tough time.
Wayne has always thought that they'll meet again someday, that he'll get to thank her for that one conversation. He missed his chance.
"She died when I was a kid. Cancer." Steve answers, his voice quivering for a split second, "Why do you ask? Did you know her?"
Wayne shakes his head, "No. I don't think so. You just reminded me of someone, and guess I got it wrong."
Steve nods his head, accepting his answer wholeheartedly, "Goodnight, Wayne."
And Wayne watches, as the door closes shut behind Steve, "Goodnight, daisy boy."
-
Steve and Eddie, Wayne thinks, are utter idiots.
First, they dance together for ages before they finally get their act together and date. Wayne might've as well held a white poster paper with "KISS" written on it behind them.
Second, they fight over when they first meet and none of them are even right. Wayne is exhausted, listening to them argue about it day and night.
Third, they're blind. Literally blind.
The day of their wedding, Wayne hoped that the two boys would finally realize that they've met that day on the park. He asked that nice girl, Nancy, to pick some daisies and to put it on Steve's hair for the ceremony. While, Wayne went out to pick one to tuck behind Eddie's ear.
As Wayne watched as the two boys proclaim their love for each other in front of their family, with daisies tucked in their hairs just like the day they first met; he's overcome with the feeling of joy and happiness over the fact that the two boys still found each other even after everything.
It's ridiculous watching them not recognize each other, so Wayne finally decided to end their (his) misery.
Eddie clinks a glass with a fork, "Uncle Wayne! Speech!" There's a flurry of clinking before Wayne finally stands up.
"Alright, alright. I'll do it." They laugh, putting down their glasses.
It's a small backyard wedding. The Hopper-Byers has decked the yard with bright lights that brightened the whole night. In the middle, there's one long table to fit all of them. On the end of the table, side-by-side, is Eddie and Steve.
"Alright, I have a confession to make." Everyone straightens up in anticipation.
"I know it's been a running debate between Steve and Eddie, as to who's right about where and when they first met." Wayne can hear Eddie saying, "It's me obviously!"
"Settle down, boy." Wayne says, making them laugh.
"The truth is they're both wrong. You both have been very blind to the truth." Eddie makes an appalled noise as Steve laughs.
"The truth is I know when they first met." Eddie squints at him, confused. Steve whispers something to his ear that Eddie answers with a shrug.
"Steve and Eddie first met as kids. It was the same day I got custody of Eddie. I bought him to the park after that, let him play, you know? Out of no where, this kid—" Wayne chuckles.
"This kid comes up to Eddie, introduces himself and asks if Eddie wants to be pushed. His aunt— his aunt was very kind to me even though I was a complete stranger spilling my guts out to her."
"When it was time to leave, Eddie says goodbye to this kid, and it was so intimate. I remember thinking it was the perfect picture for puppy love. The boy goes home with daisies tucked in his hair, while Eddie goes home with one in his ear."
"It's not until years later, when Eddie came out to me that he tells me that the same boy with the daisies was his first love. And it's not until a few more years later after that, when I first meet the daisy boy again, sleeping beside Eddie's bed in the hospital."
Wayne turns to Steve and Eddie, there's pure surprise in their faces as they watch and listen to Wayne's speech.
"I could never really forget about that day and that boy. The way he made my nephew happy on one of the worst days of his lives. And now, he gets to make Eddie happy for the rest of their lives." Wayne sniffs, hiding it with a fake cough.
"Love is iffy." Wayne says, causing everyone to chuckle, "But what you guys have? It's been set into stone way before you knew each other. That's as true as love can ever be and I hope you nurture and care for it for the rest of your lives."
There's no dry eye in the yard. Wayne's heart is full and content, because he's sure that his son will be happy and taken care for, for the rest of their lives.
Wayne raises his glass,
"A toast to the daisy boys."

Inspiration Saturday
do I want to end my royal fic? yes. was i inspired for a little more in the tuck fwb and buddie endgame fic? yes. how i see Buck here. so you can see why Eddie is jealous
Tumblr media
Buck feels Eddie’s eyes staying on him all the time he laughs with Tommy.
When an older man offers to go get them something to drink, he carefully walks to his best friend, seeing how the gaze of brown eyes gets darker because of his pretty clear limping.
“I thought you wanted to bring Marisol today? What changed?” Buck sits near his best friend and closes his eyes for a few seconds from the too-fast contact of his ass and the chair.
When he opens them again he sees how Eddie holds his beer bottle so tight that his knuckles are white.
“Yeah, it would be strange to bring the woman with whom you break up, because it wasn’t working,” Eddie says only this, with his eyes continuing to watch how Tommy laughs with Bobby near the grill, making them cocktails.
“You said everything was good with her?” Buck asks sheepishly.
He feels stupid and like he is missing something, but Eddie refuses to elaborate.
Just two days ago Eddie was almost singing how good he felt with Marisol and how he would bring her to the barbecue today. And now they have broken up.
“It was. It was a pretty friendly breakup. As friendly as it can be when a woman you asked to get official told you it would not work between two of you,” Eddie takes a sip of the beer, finally looking at him. Or better say on his neck.
“Looks like your night was way better than mine. What happened with “it is just two men playing basketball, nothing more”?” Eddie almost mocks him, throwing his words he said to the team when they were teasing him about Tommy.
Buck feels like he is scolded for something he did wrong, but he can’t understand what. He is an adult who has the right to date or sleep with anyone he wants.
“It was just a game,” Buck says and Eddie makes a face he always had when Buck dated Taylor and Natalia.
It makes Buck’s blood boil. So his next words are way more harsh.
“But then the hot man asked me if I wanted to sleep with him and I said yes, because why not?”
“So you date him now? And what about the words for looking for someone special after Natalia said goodbye? About not rushing anything new?”
Eddie’s words almost accusing him in the crime he never knew he did and Buck wants to fight back.
“I’m not rushing. Tommy and I friends who fucked once. Big deal,” Buck rolls his eyes. “I needed sex and I had sex with a hot man who doesn’t want something more from me. And I am still waiting for this special someone, or I was, I’m trying to stop waiting for them, because I doubt there will ever be a chance for me. Yesterday I was sure that I would never have a chance again when I went to play with Tommy. So I decided to have fun.”

The Second Bridgerton And I: Part 2
Tumblr media
Benedict Bridgerton x Reader
Summary: Y/n Clearwater becomes named the “Sparkling Diamond” by Queen Charlotte herself, but she doesn’t know what to do with all this attention. Of course she has her family, but sometimes that doesn’t seem enough. But what happens when she encounters a specific Bridgerton, which changes the course of her season.
Author’s Note: This chapter has scenes from season 3 episode 2 of Bridgerton. Down below is the link to Part 1 and Part 3. I hope you enjoy! Y/nn= reader’s nickname
“Time to wake up Miss Y/n.”
My maid Alexandra. She is in her mid thirties and is a great companion to have. I am quite fond of her, but never in the morning. I am not a morning person, but Alexandra seemed to care less this morning , which was peculiar. She usually lets me sleep in a little longer.
“Miss Y/n! You might have callers coming this morning and you must be ready.”
This sentence alone caused me to sit up abruptly in bed. Callers. I completely forgot. If anyone was interested in me at Lady Danbury’s ball three nights ago, then they would be visiting around midday and this frightened me. I rubbed the sleepiness out of my eyes and made my way out of bed. Alexandra guided me towards my vanity where she would begin with my hair and light makeup. I picked up a thin gold ring decorated with a green daisy in the center from my vanity. I placed it on one of my fingers and started fiddling with it. My father gifted the ring to me for my birthday two years ago and it has became somewhat of a source of comfort for me whenever I was nervous. I couldn’t wear it for the ball since the green didn’t match with my purple dress. Alexandra noticed me fiddling my ring.
“Would you like to wear your ring Miss Y/n? There might be a dress in your closet that might match.”
She knew about the comfort my ring gave me and I was grateful that she was always so perceptive.
“Yes please. You don’t have to call me Miss Y/n you know. I’ve told you a thousand times Y/n is fine.”
“I know, but” she began to brush my hair, “it’s not proper.”
“Well I’m allowing you to be improper.”
I looked at Alexandra through the looking glass with a smile and she returned it.
“Very well then…Y/n.”
She continued to brush my hair and do my make up in silence which caused me to wander in my thoughts. People were possibly coming to call on me and being nervous was an understatement. I kind of secretly wish that nobody would call upon me. It is frightening. I don’t know what to say or do with suitors and I don’t want to embarrass myself, especially since I’ll be in the same room with my family. Adeline would have plenty of suitors because Adeline is the definition of the perfect lady. She is beautiful and always knows the right words to say. Surely she caught the eye of several eligible bachelors at the ball. Far more suitors in comparison to me. This makes me feel like I’m already failing, which is ridiculous since the season just started. I just can’t help but feel like everything I’ve done so far has been wrong. I’m supposed to be the sparking diamond and it appears that everyone expects me to be perfect and graceful. However I don’t know if I can be perfect and graceful or if I want to be.
“Are you ready to get dressed Y/n?”
I looked in the looking glass and Alexandra was no longer behind me. I turned around and Alexandra was standing beside my bed with a pale green day dress laid out for me to wear.
“Yes I am.”
I barely tasted anything at Breakfast this morning. The food smelled delicious, and I was ready to enjoy a nice full breakfast, but as soon as the food touched my tongue the food began to taste like cement (or bland). My mama could sense something was wrong, but never spoke about it, thank god, until we were all gathered into the drawing room. The clock shows three quarters after ten which means that I have fifteen minutes left to myself.
I am sitting on the main couch in the drawing room when my parents approach me. Without saying a word they both guid me past the piano forte and to the other side of the room in order to have more privacy from my siblings. My mama places both her hands on my arms and says,
“My dear Y/n you have nothing to be afraid of. You are a beautiful young lady and I’m sure any gentleman you meet will instantly fall in love once they get to know you. You are brave, kind, strong and wise. You may not feel like you carry those characteristics, but I am here to assure you that you do. Your father and I couldn’t be more proud of you.”
My mama looked at my father and pulled herself back from me as my father took her place. He grabbed my hands into his and said,
“We know you are nervous especially after the event from the previous night …”
Lord Berbrooke. My mother and sister were concerned, but to say my father and brothers were enraged was an understatement. There was practically steam coming out of my brothers ears when we were about to enter our carriages to leave the ball and my father had to stop them from causing a scene. He was furious as well, but he was more calm and collected about his feelings towards the situation because of his role as Viscount. He was angry, but he knew he had a reputation to uphold. I don’t know how they found out, but I didn’t have time to ask because as soon as we arrived home all three of them made sure that I told them my encounter with the man. I didn’t understand what all the fuss was about since he never crossed the line physically, but according to my brothers and father he did step over the line when he kept on pursuing me after I explicitly said no.
Everyone knew the reputation of Nigel Berbrooke and my family was quite puzzled as to how he snuck into Lady Danbury’s ball. He was not respected throughout the ton, which was why he was never personally invited to balls and social events anymore, and my father and brothers found it absurd how he was even present in the first place. They promised to keep an extra eye on me, and Adeline, for when we attend more balls and events in the future. They also notified Lady Danbury first thing the next morning.
“…And I don’t want to give you more nerves,” my father continued “but I have talked with an old friend of mine about a possible match for you.”
I was about to protest, but he beat me to it
“Before you say anything. No you don’t have to marry him, but at least be open to getting to know him.”
I looked up at my father and then at my mother. Being open was the least I can do.
“I will father.”
“Thank you my dear Carina.”
My parents each placed a kiss on my head and the three of us went back to our family.

Benedict
Hesitating Hyacinth?” Said Colin
“I do not hesitate.” She retorted
“And yet here were are waiting.” Chimed in Gregory
“Perhaps it is to your good fortune, as she fleeced you in the last hand.” Colin said
“I play a long game.” Said Gregory
Hyacinth cleared her throat. “I am pleased with my hand.”
“Now you hesitate.” Colin said to Gregory.
Gregory turned to me and said, “I should like to trade.”
“Hmm?” I replied
“Hmm”
Gregory and I exchanged hands and we continued with our game. Then Colin said out of nowhere,
“I am out of this round.”
“You coward!” Said Gregory
“Told you he had a strategy.” I said
“We may need more coins, the way Hyacinth is playing.” Colin said
I scoffed. What a lame excuse. Colin stood and walked away to do God knows what. I turned around and noticed our footman Oliver waiting for Colin. Someone was visiting him? But who? He became different after he came back from his travels. More distant. I would have to ask him about this secret rendezvous later.
“Are you certain you are not cheating?” Gregory asked Hyacinth.
“Do you think me a magician?” Hyacinth relied
“Hmm.” I said “well if you are please teach us some tricks.”
I could be doing anything else besides playing cards with my two youngest siblings, but the banter between the two of them was always interesting. I knew how this was going to go. Hyacinth hates to win, and Gregory hates to loose to her, so who would want to miss such a spectacle.
Even though we were playing with cards my mind was somewhere else entirely. I couldn’t stop thinking about Y/n. I hope she is well. After she walked away with her brother Noah, I notified Alexander about what happened with Berbrooke. He said he would take care of it and I hope he did. Of course he would that’s his younger sister after all.
“Benedict.” Said Hyacinth “it’s your turn.”
“What? Oh right.”
I wonder if she received a bunch of callers. Who wouldn’t want to sought after Y/n Clearwater the Queen’s sparkling diamond. If I was looking for a wife I would probably try to call upon her myself. She came from a well off family and was quite beautiful. She was also quite charming when we conversed while dancing. I was only with her for a few short moments, but I could tell that she was a wonderful person.
“I won!”
I looked up and saw Hyacinth was out of her chair and she was doing her own victory dance. I assume she won.
“That’s not fair you cheated!” Gregory shouted.
“No I did not! I won fair and square! Right Benedict?”
Hyacinth and Gregory both looked at me expectingly waiting for my answer. To be frank I wasn’t paying attention to the card game at all, so I don’t know if Hyacinth was cheating or not.
“Are you okay brother?” Gregory asked “You are quiet.”
“Of course I’m alright. I am annoyed that I have lost again due to Hyacinth’s cheating!”
“I did not cheat!”
“Yes you did!”
Their banter quickly escalated, like I predicted, and that put a smile to my face. There was never a dull moment at the Bridgerton household
—————————
Any lady of society that says suitors calling upon you isn’t tiring is lying.
There were a lot of suitors calling upon Adeline and I. There was even a line! There wasn’t even half as many gentlemen here for Adeline last season, but then again I am the so called diamond. The gentleman of the ton are curious about me I suppose. I talked with a variety of men. From talkative to shy, conceited, kind, egotistical, funny and so much more. Adeline had a group of men to pick from as well. I hope she was enjoying herself. I couldn’t tell since I was too preoccupied with my callers.
One man that stood out to me was Lord Findlay. We were supposed to share a dance with each other, but never got the chance to after I was keen to leave the ball early due to a certain man. We fell into an easy conversation and I found myself enjoying his company. However, I didn’t see anything past friendship for us in the future. After about an hour and a half, things seemed to calm down and I had just sent away my last caller. I sat myself down on the main sofa of the drawing room and took a deep breath. Finally the event was over. I couldn’t wait to tell Penelope about what happened the past few days. I really hope she is well. I looked around the ballroom, at the Danbury ball, to say goodbye before leaving, but she was nowhere to be seen. I hope everything was alright. Someone walked into the room and it was one of our footmen William.
“A caller for Miss Y/n.”
I looked up and a young handsome man walked in with an older man behind him who I assumed was his father. My father quickly met with the older man and shook hands with him in a friendly way. He then patted the young man on the back. My father turned around and motioned for me to come join them. I made my way over to them and my father said,
“Y/n this is Viscount Victor Tewkesberry and his eldest son Maxwell Tewkesberry. Victor and Maxwell this is my daughter Y/n.”
I curtsied at both of them respectfully and Viscount Tewkesberry and Maxwell both bowed slightly in response. When Maxwell stood back up straight, I noticed he was holding a small white box with an ornate pink bow on the top. He held the box in his left hand and used his right hand to take my hand and place a kiss on the back of it.
“It is a pleasure to finally meet you Miss Y/n. Your father has told me much about you and I must say, him calling you beautiful was an understatement.”
My father may have told him about me, but he surely didn’t notify me about him. The first time my father mentioned Maxwell was this morning when he shared that we would be expecting his presence today. Even though I knew nothing of him, I couldn’t help, but blush at his comment. No one has ever said anything to me like that. I decided I should lie about knowing about him beforehand in order to be polite. I didn’t want him or his father to think I wasn’t intrigued because I was.
“It is a pleasure for me as well. My father has told me about you.”
“All good things I hope.”
I nodded. “I hope I could meet your expectations based on what my father has already told you.”
“I can’t see into the future, but I believe that you will.”
This caused me to smile and he smiled back.
“Why don’t you continue your conversation somewhere more private.” My dad suggested.
“Shall we?” I asked.
He simply nodded. I guided him towards the other side of the room and past the couches to the windowsill.
“Is it alright with you if we converse here?” I asked “I am more comfortable sitting by the view.”
“Yes that is fine with me.”
We both took a seat by the windowsill and I looked out into the street. I always tended to find myself looking at the people walking by. Walking on the street and minding their own business. Sometimes I would make up stories in my head based on the people that I would see walking. My eyes drifted to the other houses that were on the same street as mine. Next to my house was the Featherington household and that made connecting with Penelope this season easy, since I only had to walk over a few yards. Across my house was the Wellington family where one of my close friends used to live, but she moved a fews ago a few streets over. Next to the Wellington household across from the Featherington household, and diagonal from my house was the Bridgerton household.
“Do you like to look out at the view?” Maxwell asked.
“Yes. I sit here and usually look out the window or read a good book?”
“Oh you read?!”
“Is it shocking to you that a lady can enjoy reading?”
“No no! Forgive me that is not what I meant. I like to read as well, so it seems we have something in common. What genre do you prefer to read?”
I wanted to answer him truthfully, but I hesitated. Would he like my answer? Even though this is my first encounter with him, I still know who he is. The Tewkesberry family is a very well known family and our families have crossed paths time and time again. I’ve offered a polite smile to the family in passing, but that was different from actually holding a conversation with one of them. I remember the child like image of Maxwell, but we are no longer kids. He is obviously educated, probably attended university, so he probably would want a knowledgeable lady. Which is why I decided on the safe answer.
“I mostly like to read books of fact. They can be quite interesting.”
“What topic do you pertain to the most?”
Oh no. How was I supposed to answer this? I don’t read books of fiction! I rather enjoy a good romance. I tried to muster an answer the best I could.
“I don’t….I don’t really pertain to a particular topic…I….simply like the…random facts…that I learn as I read.”
That answer was preposterous, but I did the best that I could. Tewkesberry looked at me and I couldn’t read the expression on his face. I couldn’t tell if he liked my answer or if he believed me. He changed the topic and I was oh so grateful.
“I have something for you.” He said.
He brought the small white box that he had earlier and held it out for me to take. I completely forgot that he had that. I took the box from his hand and delicately pulled the bow apart. I noticed that he was watching my every move and anticipating my reaction. Once the ribbon was off I slowly opened the box and there were two macarons sitting perfectly and neatly in the box. They were both a baby pink color with a bright fuchsia filling in the middle. They were neatly made and assembled and the smell was a smell that I can identify anywhere. He didn’t obtain these two macarons from some knock off pastry shop in London. He brought these from Paris. They were authentic and I could tell they would taste exquisite. I always had a sweet tooth and I became disappointed at the pastry shops in London after I visited Paris a few years ago.
“Do you like them?” He asked
I looked back up at him.
“Oh no you don’t like it. I’m sorry. I wanted to bring something for you as a gesture and your father mentioned that you were fond of sweets, macarons in particular, so I figured I’d get you some. I asked what your favorite flavor was and he said raspberry. I was recently in Paris dealing with business with my father and I passed by a pastry shop and I’d figure…”
“Hey.”…”it’s alright. I’m actually grateful for the gift. Truly. I was just taking it in.”
“You do?”
“Yes.” I said with a smile. “Would you like to have one?”
“Are you sure? I brought them for you.”
“I know, but there are two of them. We can each have one.” I said with a smile.
I took one of them out and gave it to him to take. I did the same for me and we ate them in a comfortable silence. When I took the first bite my mouth was met with an immediate whirlwind of flavor and like he said it was raspberry. My favorite. I couldn’t help but feel happy. He went through all this trouble to get something that I liked and it made me feel bad for lying to him.
“About what I said earlier…about books of fiction.” I said “I lied.”
“I know.”
“You do?”
“I’m not surprised that you said that you prefer books of fiction, but your answer didn’t seem to support your statement.”
“I’m sorry. I wanted you to like me. Half of the time I don’t even know what I’m doing.”
“What is your favorite genre then?”
“I’m sorry.”
“Your favorite book genre.”
“Romance.”
“What about romance do you particularly like?”
I paused to think about my answer and then finally said, “All throughout my life I have been in close proximity to marriages based on love. Mostly with my family. Seeing love in front of me and reading about it in books makes me hope that I can one day have that in the future.”
I looked up at him and he was already looking at me. He seemed to like my answer because his lips turned up into a smile.
“Miss Y/n I am looking for a wife. In my future wife I hope to find a companion. Someone I could talk to. I want to share with her my experiences, feelings and thoughts and I would love for her to do the same. If I am to pursue you, I don’t want you to feel like you have the need to like what I like and always agree with me. You are your own person with your own thoughts and you shouldn’t change for me. Can you do that for me?”
I looked at Tewkesberry and for the first time this season I felt at peace. Which is why it was easy for me to say,
“Yes. Yes I can. “
—————————
I couldn’t wait to see Maxwell at the ball tonight. We had a lovely conversation yesterday and he asked if I could save him a dance tonight.
I am a walking arm and arm with my mama as my family and I enter. The ball was decorated quite nicely.
“Now dearest.” My mama said “I won’t push any suitors your way, due to your interest towards the Viscount’s son. However, if a lovely man is to ask you for a dance you may dance with them if you choose to.”
“Alright mama. My main focus will be on Lord Tewkesberry, but I’ll keep my mind open for other suitors. Shall we greet the Queen?”
“Yes I think that is wise since we didn’t do so at Lady Danbury’s ball.”
“I hope she is not furious with me that I didn’t greet her.”
“Gossip travels fast throughout the ton dearest. I am sure when the news reached the Queen she had a little sympathy for you.”
We both approached the Queen and I curtsied slightly in front of her.
“Flawless my dear. Just how I would expect you to be.” Queen Charlotte said
“Thank you. I’m sorry I couldn’t grace you with my presence at Lady Danbury’s ball. There was an incident that affected my mood and I wouldn’t want to greet you in such a state.”
“All is well my dear. I hear a certain Viscount has found an interest in you.”
I was surprised how she already knew such information. The Queen seemed to notice my surprised face because she said,
“I know all and see all because I am the Queen my sparkling diamond. I am curious to see how this arrangement will continue.”
I nodded and my mama and I walked away from the Queen.
“I am going to search for Penelope mama. It has been a while since we have seen each other.”
“Alright dear, ” Said mama “but be careful.” She gave me a warning look.
“I will.”

Benedict
Colin and I were near the lemonade table when we were interrupted by a women’s voice.
“Good evening Mr. Bridgerton. Mr. Bridgerton.”
We turned around and saw two young ladies standing before us.
“Ladies!” I greeted. Another woman joined us. “And more Ladies!”
All three of them began to laugh in unison. They would simply try anything to grab our attention I thought.
Colin and I both turned around and I said quietly.
“They’ve taken to hunting in packs.”
Colin and I continued to sip our lemonade.
“Mr. Bridgerton. I have yet to see you on the dance floor.” One of the ladies said. She was Ms. Stowell I believe.
“What say you brother?” Colin asked, “Time for you to dance?”
He did not just throw me to the wolves. I couldn’t believe Colin. He was supposed to rescue me from a situation like this.
“Yes.” I said with annoyance, specifically towards Colin, but the three ladies didn’t seem to notice. They looked at me anticipating to share a dance. I looked at the girl in the middle. She looked the most sensible.
“Miss Stowell, may I have the next dance?”
She excitedly placed her dance card in my hand for me to sign. What did my brother get me into?
—————————
Penelope and I were conversing near a dessert table. It’s been awhile since we enjoyed each other’s company and I was rather pleased. I caught her up on all the events that has happened since I last seen her.
“I’m so sorry to hear about what happened to you Y/nn.” Penelope said, “Lord Berbrooke is a despicable man. I hope you are well.”
“Yes I am.”
“That’s good. I don’t like seeing you in distress.”
“As do I with you.”
“At least Benedict was able to assist you. That was rather nice of him.”
“Yes nice of him indeed.”
I have thought of Benedict quite a bit since we parted. I wonder if he is here tonight.
“So Lord Tewkesberry…” she said with a teasing tone.
“Don’t look at me like that Pen. We are not courting. We are simply enjoying each other’s company.
“But you two danced with one another tonight.”
“It’s nothing Pen, but enough about me. What has been going on with you?”
Penelope looked around and led us to an area that can allow us more privacy.
“You must promise to not tell another soul what I am about to tell you.”
She sounded serious. This must be important.
“I promise.”
“I have asked Colin to assist me with helping me find a husband.”
I looked at Penelope surprised.
“You do not approve?” She asked, “I know it is unorthodox, but we are both friends.”
“I know, but…”
I looked around to make sure no one was listening to our conversation.
“You must be careful Pen. If this deal you made with Colin is to get out, the ton will not take this lightly. Your reputation-“
“I know I know. We’ve been keeping this discreet.”
“Good make sure it stays that way.”
“It will.”
I missed getting to converse with Penelope.
“Why don’t we spend some time with each other soon.” Penelope said
“I would like that very much.”
“Miss Clearwater. Miss Featherington.”
I turned to see Benedict Bridgerton standing in front of us.
“Miss Y/n, can I have the pleasure of escorting you to the dance floor? If there is room on your dance card.”
“Yes you may.”
Benedict smiles and takes my hand to lead me to dance. I look back at Penelope and she gives me a confused look. She was surprised at Benedict’s actions as well. I shrugged and continued to walk with Benedict.
“What is the meaning of this?” I asked
“I need your help and you owe me.”
“I owe you?! Since when do I owe you?”
“Since I saved you from Lord Berbrooke.”
“Just because you saved me does not mean that you deserve something in return. I thought you were a gentleman.”
He stopped and looked me in the eyes.
“I am a gentleman. I would do what I did for you again and again if I had to without anything in return. I simply need someone to help me avoid someone else and you were the only female face I recognized nearby.”
I got lost in his crystal blue eyes.
“Miss Y/n?”
“Oh… well then I guess I have to help you.” I smiled at him and he returned it. We continued our way to the dance floor. The music began and we fell into a familiar rhythm. I became curious about who he was hiding from, so I asked him.
“Who am I saving you from?”
“Miss Stowell and her mama. I danced with her earlier and they have both been following me since. I don’t have intentions to court her, but it appears that she has not received the same message.”
“Ah I see.”
“How is your season going so far?Any man that has caught your eye?”
“Lord Tewkesberry.”
“Ahh he is a great choice.”
“Do you know him?”
“Not personally. However, we have crossed paths multiple times and he is quite the gentleman. Definitely worthy for a lady like yourself.”
I felt my cheeks warm.
“Thank you for passing along that piece of information.”
“Of course what are friends for?”
I stopped dancing. Good thing Benedict was leading and guided me to continue because if not, we would have been a beat behind everyone else.”
“Friends?” I asked
“Yes. Do you not want to be?” He frowned.
“No no! It’s not Iike that. I didn’t expect you to say such a thing.”
“Well now you know that you have become a dear friend of mine.”
“You as well.”
We both smiled and finished the dance. The music came to a stop and I curtsied while he bowed.
“Would you care for some lemonade?” He asked.
“I would be delighted to.”
Benedict linked his arm with mine and we made our way outside to the refreshment table. As I was sipping my lemonade I noticed Penelope from afar talking with Lord Remington. She seemed to be enjoying herself as did he. I smiled at the thought. I was about to speak to Benedict when I couldn’t help but overhear a nearby conversation.
“It is rather unseemly that Miss Featherington took his help. Pitiable I think.”
I turned and heard another voice speak.
“It is kind of him, but perhaps overly so.”
I looked around and several people had their hands coming their mouth and would acasionally look over at Penelope who was now standing with Colin. People couldn’t know what Penelope told me earlier. Right? This is exactly what I was afraid of. Something like this to happen, but how did everyone else find out?
“Are you alright Miss Y/n?”
I turned to Benedict and he looked concerned. I looked around and saw Penelope begin to walk away. I turned to Benedict.
“I’m sorry, but I must take my leave.”
I curtsied.
“Goodbye.”
“Wait!” Benedict shouted, but I was already making my way to Penelope. As I reached the steps I noticed Colin and Eloise exchanging a few words. Penelope had already left to call a carriage. I had missed her.
“Eloise! Did you tell any one of my helping Penelope?”
“No I did - I did not mean to —“
“Which means you did.”
“I confided in Cressida.”
“Because you thought you could trust her? Why are you friends with Cressida in place of Penelope, I will never understand. What could Penelope possibly have done to warrant such maltreatment?!”
Colin continues to ascend the stairs to run after Penelope. Eloise turned around and showed shock due to her not knowing that I was present. I walked down a few steps and said,
“I didn’t mean to eavesdrop. I was after Penelope when I ran into you two.”
“It’s alright.” She replied
She started to walk up the stairs and when she reached talking distance I asked,
“What happened between the two of you? You and Penelope. I know you two were the best of friends last season. What happened?”
Eloise seemed hesitant to answer. I did not expect her to answer, but she did.
“Not everyone is the way they appear to be. Some carry secrets. I discovered that Penelope was one of them.”
Secrets? Penelope keeping secrets? That did not seem true. But then again I don’t know what happened between the twins them so Eloise can be telling the truth. If Penelope does have secrets is she keeping them from me? I would like to think that our friendship was stable enough for her to trust me with these certain things.
“If you did confide in Cressida, I don’t think you had any mal intent when you did so.”
Eloise seemed grateful when I said this.
“Thank you. Brother!”
I turned around and noticed Benedict walking towards us. When did he get here?
“Eloise. Miss Clearwater.” Benedict said.
Eloise looked between the two of us and said
“I shall take my leave. It was nice meeting you….”
“Y/n. Y/n Clearwater.”
“Right.”
She smiled at me and then continued to walk up the stairs.
“I am afraid I am keen to return to my family Mr. Bridgerton.”
“Well allow me to escort you to them. And please, call me Benedict.”

You fell silent, your eyes focused onto his as he stared up at the stars, You couldn't help but smile at his response. You felt your heart beat a little faster at the image of yourself along his side.
You couldn't help but feel a sense of jealousy towards yourself, and towards the fact that Alastor felt so strongly about her, yet considering daisy and you are one person.
"She sounds wonderful," you said, your voice soft and full of meaning, "I can't imagine how she makes you feel. You must really love her." You paused for a moment, wondering if your words were too forward. You didn't want to seem desperate or needy, but you couldn't help it..
Alastor looked at you, his eyes full of intensity. "I love her immensely, more than words can describe. She's my everything, my world." He took a step closer to you, his voice low. "And now.. I want to find out more about you.. Y/n, tell me about yourself." He leaned in closer.
You felt your heart flutter at his words, his voice full of a deep sort of longing. You leaned in a little, feeling his warm breath brushing against your face. You felt a tingle run through your body as he leaned closer.
You took a deep breath, feeling your head spinning from the alcohol and the proximity to him. "What.. what do you want to know?" you asked, feeling a sense of nervousness well up inside of you. You didn't really know what to say, you hadn't really thought this far ahead.
"anything you can offer me, if that's alright with you." his smile widened, you looked away for a moment. staring blankly at your feet.
"well, how about this.. I am Y/n, I'm not.. duchess or any kind of noble, no parents, no riches, and no woman of power at any sorts.. and all i could ever offer.. is an infinite amount of my love.."
You couldn't help but blush at his words. You never thought that someone would be able to express such deep feelings towards you, you had never felt so loved and cared for by someone before. It was a feeling that you couldn't really put into words, but it felt like a warm, cozy blanket wrapped around you.
"That's all I could ever ask for," you said, your voice soft and gentle, "an infinite amount of your love is all I need. I don't care about riches or power, I just want someone who cares about me and loves me for who I am."
Alastor smiled at you, his eyes looking deep into yours. "Then i hope someone will truly be that person for you, my dear..".

The sound of a bell rang loudly from an old clock stuck at the hotel, Angel groaned at its ringing.
"ugh.. shit, I fucking hate that clock since it got here". Loralie chuckled at the sight, thinking to herself. "well.. i think it's neat" She muttered, chugging down the whiskey in her glass, setting it down to the side after.
"what about the story?! finish it!" Niffty grit her teeth in excitement, bouncing up and down on her chair leaving a happy sigh on Charlie's face. "well, what happened then? it ended just like that?" Charlie spoke, scratching her scalp gently. Loralie stared down at her glass for a moment.
"my memory's kind of foggy about it, it's been a long time since i told this story."
"That's okay, take your time," Charlie said, smiling warmly at Loralie. "I just love hearing you tell stories, they're always so fascinating."
As Niffty bounced anxiously on her chair, Charlie reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her down.
"Don't worry, Niffty, Loralie will finish the story when she's ready." Niffty grumbled and crossed her arms, but didn't say anything more as she looked up at Loralie expectantly.
Loralie took a deep breath and looked down at her glass, trying to gather her thoughts. "Right, where did I leave off... oh yes.. shit, I'll just try and pick up what i can remember from here."

You nodded, feeling a sense of warmth and comfort wash over you as he spoke. "I hope so too," you said quietly, feeling a sense of sadness wash over you. You knew that you weren't likely to find someone that would love you as much as Alastor loved Daisy.
"Do you really think there's someone out there for me?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper. You felt your eyes start to well up with tears as you spoke.
"Of course," he said, taking your hand and gently caressing it. "There is always someone out there for everyone, you just have to keep looking." He leaned in close to you, his voice low and soft. "And until then, i could be of company with you, maybe guide you even.." Alastor whispered. "as for, i suppose I'll keep listening to daisy's call in the meantime. but I'll set my heart aside for her."
You nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over you as he spoke. It felt nice to know that Alastor would be there for you, even if it was just as a friend. You felt your heart aching at his words, wondering if you'd ever find someone who loved you as much as he loved Daisy.
"Thank you," you said softly, looking up at him. "That means a lot to me, Alastor. You've been so kind to me, and I appreciate it more than you know." You reached out and touched his hand, feeling the warmth of his skin. "And I'll always be here for you too, if you ever need a friend."
The silence continued, only broken off the sound of Loralie looking for you, you finally excused yourself, heading over towards her. "Loralie! Hold on, I'm here!" you called out, seeing you, she grabbed your hand. pulling you through the crowd.
"we're goin home. now." she sounded angry, you wondered. wanting to ask her, "what happened? Loralie, tell me." you reached out to her, yet she pulled you through the crowd instead, once the two of you got inside the car. she set her bag aside. groaning.
"Loralie.. what happened?" you asked as she whined. "ugh! there's this girl. absolutely sassy, ugh, i swear I'll knock that arrogance out of her" you let out small chuckle, patting her back. "I'll leave you to it then"
You watched as Loralie's mood shifted from anger to happiness in an instant. She was always able to turn around her emotions in seconds, and it was one of the things you admired most about her. You chuckled at her words, amused by her reaction.
"Oh, Loralie," you said, shaking your head playfully. "Don't let her get to you. She's not worth your time or energy."
Loralie sighed, letting out an exaggerated moan before turning to you. "I know, but it's just so frustrating, you know?"
You nodded, understanding her frustration. "I do. But sometimes, it's better to just let it go. Don't feed into her negativity, and she'll eventually stop."
Loralie seemed to consider your words for a moment before nodding in agreement. "You're right. Thanks for always being there for me, you're a real friend," she said with a small smile.
You smiled back, happy to have been able to help. "Of course, Loralie. That's what friends are for."

Folklore (October 5th)
word count: 819
@wolfstarmicrofic
“This is so unlike her!” Harry says, rubbing his eyes. His hair is a mess and he looks incredibly stressed. Harry, Sirius, and Remus are sitting around the Potters’ kitchen table.
“That is the joy of being fifteen, isn’t it?” Sirius asks. “Trying to figure out who you are and being unbelievably stupid in the process?”
“I don’t remember that part really well.”
“We do,” Remus says, grinning. Sirius grins as well. “I remember you being fifteen and stupid so well.”
“Not reporting a scum teacher or even just telling us about it, for example,” Sirius says. “While Remus worked at the very same school. What were you thinking, babe?”
“Creating an army as an after school club.”
“Let’s not even get into the ‘everyone hates me and I hate everyone’ winter phase because that was–”
“Okay, okay,” Harry says, thumping his head on the table. “I get it,” he mumbles.
Remus looks at Sirius and laughs. He clears his throat. “This isn’t such a big deal, Harry, love. You’re a good dad. And Lily’s a lovely kid.”
Harry groans. “Well, she doesn’t like me all that much right now. She’s grounded.”
Sirius whistles. “You had the heart to ground Lily?”
“You horrendous human being,” Remus comments.
Harry’s head hits the kitchen table once again. “I feel horrible about it, but she did run away from Hogwarts.” His voice is muffled. He raises his head. “Do you think I’m being too harsh with her?”
Remus just smiles. Sirius says, “Oh, yes. You’re horrible. How could you–”
“We’ll go talk to her, okay?” Remus says, cutting Sirius off.
“Please,” Harry says. “Thank you guys. Love you.”
“Boohoo, Harry.”
“Do they tell you everything?” Lily Luna says when she opens her bedroom door.
Sirius flicks her forehead. “Hello to you too, Lily, love.” He enters her room, Remus closely behind.
“Hi, Remus,” Lily says. She slams the door behind them.
“Ouch. What did the poor door do to you?”
“Remus gets a ‘hi’ and I don’t? I see how it is, Flora.”
Lily sighs, all melodramatic and angsty, and sits on top of her desk. Sirius sits on the edge of the bed and Remus on the desk chair.
“I know what I did was irresponsible and I won’t do it again, okay?” Lily talks as she does something on her computer.
“And you sound so sincere,” Sirius says.
Lily rolls her eyes. She looks at Remus then at Sirius. “I missed you guys. Do you want to listen to music with me?”
Sirius smiles despite himself. “Awe, Lavender, love, we’ve missed you too.”
“What are you listening to?” Remus asks.
“Sad music, mostly” Lily says, grinning. “I’m sulking.”
“You’re sulking?” Sirius asks. “You ran away from Hogwarts and skipped classes and got a tattoo. Poor Harry’s having an existential crisis. He should be sulking.”
“I didn’t get a tattoo,” Lily says.
“I know.” Sirius winks. “I just wanted to make you sound cooler than you actually are, Daisy.”
Lily sighs. “I just walked around muggle London for a little while. Had coffee. And also, there was this fairy circle in someone’s front porch that I just had to sit in.” Lily pauses. “Even though now I remember Trelawney telling us not to do that when we were going over different Folklore stories. What do you think happens to people who sit in fairy circles?”
“I guess you’ll find out, won’t you?” Remus says lightly. “And we’re not saying that the things you did after sneaking out were wrong. Though the trespassing and angering fairies is a little questionable I think. We’re more worried about the sneaking out part itself.”
“Your dad went nuts. Ginny nearly brought Hogwarts to the ground looking for you.”
“We were worried, too,” Remus says. “We didn’t know if you just ran off or if something had happened to you.”
Lily bites her lips and looks down. “I am sorry. I didn’t mean to– I mean, I didn’t think it would be a big deal. I just wanted to get away for a little while.”
“And that’s okay, Jasmine, babe,” Sirius says. “Hell, just floo to our house next time. Or at least tell someone where you’re going. Albus or James or whoever.”
“So we know that you’re safe,” Remus adds. “Also– so that Harry doesn’t go gray so soon.”
“He’s already going gray,” Lily mumbles.
Sirius chuckles. “I can’t argue with you there, Hydrangea.”
“That’s not even a name,” Lily says. “And– I am sorry. I’ll talk to dad before I go back to Hogwarts tonight.”
Remus looks at Sirius then at Lily, and he smiles. “Thank you, Flower.”
“Oh, Merlin, not you too, Remus.”
Sirius laughs. “Go talk to your dad now, Marigold.”
“Will you take me to get a tattoo when I decide that I want one?” Lily asks as she gets off the desk.
“We’ll think about it, Dahlia. Now go away.”

Note
I totally get I just finished my exam week (I had to do a math test at 8am Sat😭). Wish you luck tho!
Also do you have any good buddies fics? Destiel too?
Math test at 8am is BRUTAL
Thank you I will definitely need it😭😭
Unfortunately I only have buddie fics to offer😔:
(Warning I do like a fair amount of angst)
Right where you left me - by hyacinthusbloom ( @thebloomingheather on here) - when I say I might be as big a fan of this fic as I am of the show I MEAN IT, you do not even understand how much I love this fic or how obsessed I am with it, I have reread it so many times despite it still being in progress that I think I may genuinely qualify it as addictive, me and @estheticpotaeto legit wait for updates like a dog at the author’s door istg, like everything about this fic is flawless and written with so much love and emotion and the way the writer captures the effects of trauma is just amazing because it’s so rare to find this level of diving into ptsd and the more uncomfortable aspects of it that are more taboo or less understandable to people, like I can yap for an hour about this fic but I’ll just say READ IT
Any fic by daisies_and_briars ( @cal-daisies-and-briars on here) but one of my favourites of his is Both blade and branch and muscle memory and four can keep a secret and appetency and the two she’s writing right now (change the prophecy and steal my sunshine) -wow at that point I should’ve left it as any fic because that’s a lot of favourites😭😭
Any fic by @loserdiaz plus with them you get enough lighthearted fics to even out the angst
Ooo I’m not sure what their username on here is but lizzybizzyzz is also another writer who I just love their fics
Fractals by hobbitprincess - one of those fics that make you squeak at how much love these fictional characters have for each other
Beneath my mother tongue by archerincombat - the angst the writing the way they hit every single emotional beat? Amazing
Anything by this_is_moony_lovegood
Leave the light on (I’ll be coming home) by HMSLusitania - the presumed dead Eddie fic of your dreams, a constant reread for me it’s just 👌
Anchored by adorkable_buddie - sorry Chris you gotta be injured sometimes just for us to get our buddie dreams hope you understand and we appreciate your sacrifice 😔🫶
empty, broken, lonely, hoping by daniweb - when I tell you I love the presumed dead trope you best believe I’m telling the truth because the ANGST?? Yes please, LISTEN it’s the closest you can get to the emotional beats of killing off a character without ever killing them off because you love them and happy endings too much so TIM MINEAR TAKE NOTES I KNOW YOU SAID YOU LOVE THEM TOO MUCH TO KILL THEM, anyways back to to the point this fic again is just flawless execution by the writer like absolutely love it
every time we stop talking (the universe starts screaming) by withmeornotatall - emotional destruction and I absolutely love it, divorce era 2.0 and it HITS
Home is where it hurts- by rileyblue2001 - can you tell I hate the Buckley parents because I HATE the Buckley parents
The one with the return of the sex addiction by buddiefication (pumpkincreamcoldbrew) - I’ve reccomended so much angst so have a funny little light hearted buddie fic with the father bobby vibes we all love❤️❤️
Okay back to the angst tho 😭😭- out of ashes by Ashavahishta - AHHHHHHH THIS FIC JUST AHHHHH STOP THE WAY I WOULD DIE FOR A FOLLOW UP FIC TO THIS AHHHH I LOVE IT SM AND ITS LEGIT A ONE SHOT I CRIED SO HARD
Falling Slowly; Sing Your Melody (I’ll Sing It Loud) by Princessfbi ( @princessfbi on here who I also love sm of their fics so highly suggest just going on their page and looking through all the fics) - absolutely love it, legit gave me brain rot and got me obsessed for a GOOD while
I'm comin' back, don't let me go by wikiangela ( @wikiangela on here also love love their fics again so check them out but this one is probably my favourite of theirs)
Okay this is looking more and more like a uni reading list so I’m gonna shut up now but I hope you enjoy these fics and that a few of them emotionally damage you like they did me because I love to spread the joy (see: pain and suffering) 🫶🫶
