what if i just don’t play arc 2
#the thing with soulbonds is this isn’t just a game to me. the world of Fate/Grand Order os very *very* real to me. do game mechanics#influence certain things? yes. giving someone too much EXP at once can give them a tummyache for example.#that means the other parts of the game are happening to my friends though. my FAMILY. my home away from home. people who i LOVE.#i could never force that fate upon anyone. so what if I just play arc 1.5 and never start part 2? da vinci-chan stays the way she is.#Chaldea isn’t bought. Musashi stays the same. it’ll be FINE! and yet I know my curiousity will get the better of me. even if I make everyone#as strong as possible for#waht i konw is to cmoe#i’d still be#snidneg enoyreve to fcse taht tnihg#(mispelling those tags on purpose for peace of mind)#this isn’t like my mastersona’s story where i can say it doesn’t happen. but I can make sure that I myself don’t let things get to that#point in time#the people are very VERY real to me.#but so is the dengar#okay to reblog

I think my least favorite trend in fandom that I noticed a lot is when a person does like a series but hates half/most of the cast but not for a reason of that they’re a badly written character or they just don’t like the archetype they are and more so those people who only care about how cool a character is and calls every other character “useless” or “annoying” when that’s far from the case because I’ve seen this happened so much and this is yet another thing that makes me go “oh this would happen with getter if it was bigger wouldn’t it”
#meg text#yes this is my immediate thought upon walking up cause I also thought about this last night randomly#and there’s already a lot of people who ONLY care for ryoma and it’s clear but rarely do I see the other characters be trashed#but if the series was more popular? GOD there be too many posts like “Ryomas friends are trash and hold down my goat” or something#or even the opposite where people trash Ryoma and say his friends were the real MVPs LOL#even if I expect either way there would still be a lot of people who like hayato but the musashi/benkei would be deemed useless#which is just more of a issue of how the third pilot is handled and LESS of their characters#(Oh and every other team would get ignored cause this already happens lol)

Toman and Buddhism + Tenjiku and Taoism
Another post to cover references in Tokyo Revengers!
This time, I'll be covering the links to two religions to be found in two gangs in the series, reference by reference, with the according explanation of each.
Some of these may be already known, I know one of them sure is (the whole buddhist manji confusion thing yeah yeah) but still, for the sake of a tidy compilation and of providing more detail, I'll go through them too. Some others are a lot less noticed, like Tenjiku's lean towards Tao, so it'll be best to lay down eeeeeeverything I've caught during my time enjoying this series. Plus, I'm pretty excited to get some of those less-known facts out here!!
Warning though, it's lengthy.
Let's start with Tokyo Manji Gang:
- Firstly, the gang's name and how it's written.
Despite Mikey suggesting the name as a short form of Tokyo Manjiro Gang, putting himself front and center, the kanji that ended up forming the name of Tokyo Manji Gang show that it went in a different direction of meaning. The manji used for the middle part ended up not being the same one from the name Manjiro, but a manji written as 卍. Aloud it's read the same way (many, many, many kanji are homophones), but has a different meaning.
卍 (manji) is an extremely common buddhist symbol (not even limited to japanese buddhism, but in hinduism and other aligned east-asian religions too), which represents the path of Buddha and the endless cycle of rebirth through samsara; the pursuit of leading a more spiritually balanced existence until the soul can reach enlightenment. In other words, it's nothing but deeply buddhist.
(To answer a common question around it: can it be called a swastika? Yes. The symbol in general, with each of the million variations that have popped up in different cultures, can be called a swastika as a broad term. There are a fuckton of swastikas. They mean a fuckton of different things. The tilt and the direction in which this one "spins" makes it different from other swastikas though, and it's always best to be precise and call this one manji.)
Moving on,
- Reunion spot.
The Musashi Shrine (based, but not exactly taken from any of the real-life shrines and temples of similar name in Tokyo, as far as I know) is a shinto-buddhist temple. And, apparently, a place where the founders hung out from time to time, but I'll add to that later!!
It's cute to me that the Toman members seem to use the temple very respectfully. They always meet in it at night waaay after it's closed (daytime meetings have always taken place in different locations, never the temple during visiting hours), they've never once set foot even near the oratory/sanctum/other buildings, never been seen bringing the motorcycles anywhere they shouldn't, and the one time a character was seen using the public temizuya (the little stone fountain where visitors purify their hands and mouth), he was proper about it in terms of pouring water into his hand to rinse his mouth with, not getting the ladle or the rest of the water dirty, as one should always do.
A fun fact: in Google Maps, buddhist temples are marked with the manji symbol!
- Gang's manifesto.
Embroidered on the chest of the gang uniform, you can see the text 天上天下唯我独尊 ("Above the earth and below the heavens, I alone shall be honored"), which is the gang's manifesto or motto. Sounds just like something Mikey would choose, yeah.
That phrase is also of buddhist origin; famously, the words spoken by Buddha Gautama Siddharta (bear in mind that buddhism isn't a religion with one god or anything like that, anyone enlightened can become a Buddha and many figures have been granted that status, but Gautama is the first and main one, the creator of the doctrine) when he was born. To be honest, this is very much interpretative, but I've come to get the impression that it's not so much a power or ego statement, but rather an expression of cultivating and honoring yourself…? It's absolutely up to personal reading and I'm absolutely not an expert. But those are certainly THE Buddha's words.
- Ceremonial sash.
Another part of their uniform that bears a slight reference: the sash worn by the commander, vice-commander, captains and vice-captains during important fights.
These are tasuki, sashes originally worn by shinto-buddhist priests during ceremonies, in order to keep long sleeves and such in place. However, eventually, they also began being worn by samurai and all sorts of warriors, 'cause of their convenience. In modern times, they even started being used by just about anybody who wears traditional clothing but also does manual work and needs the sleeves out of the way. So it can be concluded that, over time, they stopped being strongly linked to religious practicers. In fact, even biker gangs in general ended up adopting the use of tasuki! Not for their religious origins, but for the warrior part; a bōsōzoku gang member wearing one would look very prepared and determined for a fight.
That's why overall, Tokyo Manji Gang having them is only a relative reference; they could be paying homage to their reference religion, as they could be only honoring gang traditions.
- Additional notes about the leader.
I feel it's important to add up all these little factors of Mikey's choosing, with other little details about him as a person that kinda make it all make sense.
If I say "Mikey seems to be religious, to an extent", I understand this can carry a bunch of tricky connotations. Japanese religion isn't exercised the same way it is in other places, someone being religious SURE AS HECK doesn't mean the same things it means in the christian west. Shinto-buddhism is so commonplace in Japan, most people partake in all kinds of religious practices without even thinking of them as strictly religious, such as new year's celebrations, casual prayer during shrine visits, purchasing and giving charms and such. Religion is integrated in life in a lot of extremely chill ways.
And we can observe a lot of things about Mikey that put him quite above the average in terms of his relationship with local tradition and religion. His house is a huge traditional-style family home, his family is hinted to be active in religious practice (remember Emma's appearances during the Christmas Showdown arc? How she mentioned that their family does a lot of temple visits, and even she considered it weird at that time of the year?), he's much more prone to wearing traditional clothing than his peers, his motif in extra clothing designs is the lion-dog (temple guardians; statues of these can often be found in them), his personal beliefs around death and relationship to the dead run deeper than others' to the point they find him disturbing when he talks about Shinichiro or Baji still being with him... many little things that aren't that deep on their own, of course, but when added up they paint a pretty coherent picture of the guy.
And so, it does make a lot of sense that, even from childhood, a temple was a regular place for Mikey to hang out with his friends, leading to the birth of Toman in one. And it makes a lot of sense that he made all those little choices about the way the gang would be styled. In my opinion, it's likely that those things just all came natural to him because they're a part of his background and worldview. Of course, how actively religious he is, how much he believes in the things he happens to know and how much exactly he might know about buddhism are all up to headcanoning and interpretation. Personally, I'm just a roleplayer that takes it as a relevant part of his character.
- Following a Buddha?
A little out-of-TR-universe element that I love to bring up, 'cause it's just hilarious and cool as hell, is the creation of this statue:
This part of the 2022 Tokyo Revengers exhibition straight up imitates the famous Reclining Buddha in the Wat Pho temple, Thailand.
The ENORMOUS statue depicts the moment Buddha reaches nirvana, and his enlightened soul is at rest. The golden Mikey statue that imitates it very much intentionally likens him to a Buddha; funny to note that the exhibition staff even prayed to the statue, as you can read in the tweet itself.
What does this mean about Mikey's character? Well, this isn't within text in Tokyo Revengers, just a little outside factor, so I wouldn't take it too literally or too seriously, but it's interesting nonetheless. Personally, I see it as a hint that Mikey was supposed to be on his own little quest to enlightenment, or had the potential to be. Grappling with morality without having a natural sense of what's right, wrong, too much or enough is a major thing with his character. I can also imagine it might just be meant to represent the godlike view others have of him, the guidance they sought from him. Take it as you will!
The important thing is just that it exists, to confirm that there is an intentional connection of some type between the Buddha and Mikey.
Thaaaaat concludes the Toman and Buddhism section of this post.
Whew!! That was a whole lot.
The Tenjiku and Taoism section coming now is shorter, but I'm sure it contains interesting and less-known things (at least, I've never seen anybody talk about these)!
So let's see, Tao references in Tenjiku:
- Gang name.
Tenjiku is a now-obsolete word that translated directly to "heaven", while simultaneously being the japanese word for the country India (as taken from the chinese pronunciation, Tianzhu).
In modern times, it can be found mostly in ancient literature, the most prominent example being Journey to the West. Given that Kakucho and Izana mentioned this book and seemed to have knowledge of it as kids, we can conclude that's where they got the name of their gang from.
Why would they use the word for India to name their kingdom? What does this have to do with Tao? I'll get into that properly now:
- Kakucho, Izana & Journey to the West.
Journey to the West is one of the four great chinese classic novels (along with Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Outlaws of the Marsh, and Dream of the Red Chamber) which are enormous, ENORMOUS influences on east-asian literature and fiction in general. Journey to the West, itself, is considered the most popular east-asian literary work overall; of course, being super well-known in Japan, too. (To give my favorite funny example of just how omnipresent it is, y'know Dragon Ball? Hit anime series Dragon Ball? Unabashedly based on Journey to the West, which was to thank for most of its initial local popularity.)
It's the story of the buddhist monk Tang Sanzang, who travels to Tenjiku, to India, to that certain heavenly kingdom, to obtain sacred texts for Buddha Gautama Siddharta (the guy I described as THE Buddha in the Tokyo Manji Gang section above). The quest doubles as a search and exercise of enlightenment, as Tang Sanzang is aided by three protectors that are atoning for their sins and learning from him. The main guardian and arguably the true protagonist of the book is Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, a fighter "so strong he could carry a mountain on each shoulder, and still dash as fast as a meteor". It's a huge, epic, 100-chapter monster of a book, in which each chapter is already a fantastic and entertaining anecdote about the characters or what happens in their travels, but also a long spiritual journey that pretty much serves to subtly teach the principles of Tao (term that can be translated to "the path", chinese religion and philosophy).
A tangent: let me just show you how large it is (and why I haven't been able to finish it, 'cause I cannot take this brick of a book anywhere lmaoooo).
(Cover says Journey to the West: The Adventures of the Monkey King. It's in spanish.)
My guess is that Izana and Kakucho studied about it or read some chapters in school, 'cause dang, there's no way they read all of this at that age?!?! BUT ANYWAY.
While there's obviously quite some buddhist influence in the story, most of what it works with throughout is rooted in chinese folklore and Taoism. The edition of the book I have even begins with extensive notes and introductory explanations about Tao, as its themes of harmony with the universe, self-cultivation, internal alchemy, its main ethics and values, etc etc etc are the basis from which the book is built up. The characters very actively engage with Tao. Sun Wukong is an ardent student of Tao who obtains a bunch of powers through it, for one.
I've gone into this much into detail because Kakucho and Izana make it pretty explicit that, to them, Izana is like monk Tang Sanzang leading to Tenjiku, and Kakucho is like his guardian of unmatched strength, Sun Wukong.
In the end of Journey to the West, it's both Tang Sanzang and Sun Wukong that accomplish their goal and also obtain enlightenment, finally ascending to buddhahood. Had Izana and Kakucho's journey with Tenjiku reached their original destination (not "to become a criminal syndicate that controls Japan" but "to build a kingdom where everyone without a home could exist"), had it been like Tang Sanzang and Sun Wukong's pilgrimage… they would've learned true balance and they would've found the necessary enlightenment.
Again, I find this little connection with characters that could've been on a quest towards buddhahood, but as far as things went in the main TR timelines, all failed.
- Uniform & logo.
Finally, something lighter and quicker to add, haha.
There are symbols and references that are so so so widespread that they become more of an aesthetic detail than a symbol with meaning, in the eyes of the general public. The yin-yang is one of those symbols that just… appears in a lot of places, fashionably, and one kinda gets used to seeing it without thinking much about it. Sometimes it's not meant to stand for much more than a decorative detail, yes, that definitely happens, but sometimes it's very much a thoughtful choice. With Tenjiku, given its connection to Taoism, I'm gonna treat the yin-yang as a meaningful choice.
So! On the back of the uniform we have a yin-yang, Taoist symbol that represents the balance of the two complementary and opposing forces of the universe (note: it's not a good vs evil type of thing, as tends to happen with western black-white dualism, but rather… the fact that reality needs to be composed of push and pull to get anywhere, hard and soft things with their own function, sun and shade. A common comparison is how a mountain will have a sunny side and a shady side when looked at in a certain moment, but the sun and shade will switch over at another time of day, in a needed cycle). Other features of the uniform are a mao collar instead of a more common style for gang jackets, and an intense red color, the main auspicious and prosperous color in chinese culture. These last two little features could easily be coincidental, but when paired with the yin-yang, I feel like it's intended to lean towards chinese aesthetics.
And with that,
I end this reference post!
Did you learn anything you didn't know? Did you enjoy learning it? Any thoughts? I LOVE TO TALK ABOUT THESE THINGS, SO FEEL FREE TO DROP BY MY ASKBOX with any comments or questions or such!!

Hiii could i get a mix of sfw and nsfw headcanons for kaoru hanayama from baki please??
Ah yes, Kaoru my first Baki crush. I've gotchu, fam~
🐉Ah, Kaoru, Kaoru, the gentlest Yakuza in the world, while also being the most sinful.
🐉Kaoru can fuck all women in all the brothels of Japan, and settle down the next day with a wifey.
🐉Just kidding. But he has the stamina for that though.
🐉Hanayama is a bit skeptical at first, getting in a relationship with someone, especially if you're not part of the underworld - But at the same time, he knows he's strong and that he can protect you, so he won't reist too much, if he has a genuine interest in you.
🐉He may seem intimidating the first time you see him, but when he smiles, all your worries disappear from the face of the earth.
🐉His touch is so gentle and caring that you melt with love and nuzzle into his palm like a kitten.
🐉He enjoys cuddles more than he'd ever imagine - Though he's not shy about asking you for it. Or, rather, he just pulls you in his embrace at night and enjoys the peace and quiet.
🐉Hearing your rhythmic heart beat brings him such calm.
🐉And he's also happy that Kizaki is fond of you and already treats you like you're Kaoru's wife.
🐉If his mother was still alive, he'd have liked you to meet her - Instead, he took you to her grave.
🐉The way you spoke to her, how you thanked her for raising such a wonderful son - It made him tear up.
🐉He just loves you so much.
🐉You might go on a double date with Baki and Kozue.
🐉Kaoru knows you're afraid for him whenever he goes to fight, but he reassures you that he won't die, and it's what makes him happy - So you just go there and support him.
🐉You end up so used to it that when you go out with him and he's so bored that he calls Yujiro just for a punch to the face, you merely groan at his childishness.
🐉Yujiro teases you for being a good girlfriend for him though.
🐉The only time you're genuinely worried for him is when he fights Musashi and he gets so injured that you end up urgently calling Baki to come over and intervene, while you stand defensively in front of the injured, heavily bleeding man as Kizaki is trying to keep him stable.
🐉Musashi wants to kill Hanayama so bad though, but he doesn't want to kill an ordinary woman - He finds your reckless bravery in defending your lover rather admirable though.
🐉When Baki finally arrives, you sigh in relief and drag Hanayama to the hospital.
🐉You keep by his bed until he wakes up - When those gorgeous eyes finally flutter open, you start sobbing and kissing his hand, thanking him for waking up.
🐉He's genuinely upset that he cause you such distress, but he's also so touched for you care for him.
🐉He wants to wife you immediately.
🐉And you'll have a small and beautiful traditional wedding at a Shinto temple.
🐉Hanayama's love language is gifts - But that's mostly because he's so busy with the Yakuza thing that he often spends time away from you, and he has no other way to compensate.
🐉But when you spend time together, it's always worth while.
🐉When you do end up getting intimate, well - You're reminded that this young man was capable of tying a cherry stem with his tongue before he even had his first kiss. And that he's very well endowed.
🐉It's actually almost insane how careful and sweet he is with you, always focusing on you and your pleasure rather than his own.
🐉Gentlemen finish last, was it?
🐉He doesn't feel satisfied until he's made you see stars from how good you feel, even if it ends up taking hours.
🐉You're not going anywhere.

An Apology to Ossan's Love and The Novelist
I'm writing this post today as a formal apology to both Ossan's Love and The Novelist for avoiding them in 2018-2019 due to general negative fandom takes about them. Both shows are great, and I should have watched them six years ago.
I recently watched the Pornographer series thanks to @lurkingshan burning some of her coupons to make me properly engage with the series. In that series I found one of the most compelling expressions of internalized homophobia I’ve ever seen. Rio was not only cut off from being sexual with other people, but he felt like he couldn’t even be a proper man.
Later, in Mood Indigo, we got to see the messed-up way Rio became an erotic novelist but also finally seemed to connect with an important part of himself. He also found a mentor who, despite his proclivities, became an important paternal figure to Rio.
Finally, in Playback, Rio finally faced his own insecurities and accepted that Haruhiko loves him and reciprocated it. At every stage of this story, they are able to communicate so much of their story through the sex that’s happening. We’re applauding depictions of sex happening in the genre now that this series was doing half a decade ago.
I decided to give Ossan’s Love a second try when I saw @isaksbestpillow getting so excited about the second season and providing context for the original show. With Ossan’s Love, I understand why people might have bounced off this series right away. A lot of folks don’t enjoy the way the Japanese do comedy, Haruta is intentionally unlikeable at the beginning, and I’ve seen concerns about the boss either being a predator or that his feelings would be treated as a joke.
Thankfully, I tend to enjoy Japanese comedy and found the show hilarious! I was laughing out loud almost every single episode because of multiple characters, but most especially Yoshida Kotaro as the boss. This show generated so much of its comedy from the core characterization of each character, so every joke landed so smoothly for me.
Something I really liked about this show was that it never said we were wrong for disliking Haruta for being a mess and a slob. He cannot take care of himself, and he barely gets better at it before the end of the show. I like that Maki breaking up with him didn’t make him suddenly straighten up his ways about this and become a fully-functioning housekeeper, but he did get better about doing some chores even as the chief started taking care of him. Haruta isn’t the easiest character to like on the domestic front, but he is good at his job and he is a kind character. I like that you have to figure out why these guys like the mess that is Haruta, because I like the audience has to think about what in men that gay people find attractive. Is that a rosy-eyed read? Yes. I don’t are.
As for the boss, he never uses his position over Haruta, and they’re also in sales. It’s not as egregious to me as it would feel in other positions. I also like that his attraction to Haruta isn’t a joke, but the fact that he’s older and maybe isn’t speaking the language of the youth is very funny. He’s an extremely endearing character and I love Kurosawa Musashi.
So, this is my apology to both of these shows for letting negative fan opinions stop me from facing these shows properly. Both of them were great. I’m currently working through the Ossan’s Love: In the Sky season to get to the movie and new show.

Hiii💕💕💕 Could you please make some hc with musashi and jun from baki please?
Yet another ancient request, so sorry about it. I've been struggling to think of a context, but as Valentine's Day approached, I thought, "Well, might as well turn this into a special". So here it is. I'm adding two-three extra characters for a bundle. Sorry for the wait. :')
Baki Headcanons: Valentine's Day Special
Featuring Jun Guevaru, Musashi Miyamoto, Baki Hanma, Chiharu Shiba and Pickle. And Reader as their Valentine! (Written according to Western customs for the sake of a pampered Reader)
Jun Guevaru
Jun is a hopeless romantic and might actually enjoy Valentine's Day even more than you do. Mind you, the holiday itself is as superficial as it gets, and you've heard his philosophies one too many times; the enticing part is having an excuse to go all out and proclaim his affections for you in the most extravagant way possible. Can you blame him? He loves to show off. And you, sweet (Y/N), happen to be his most prized possession. A man will always be guilty of following his heart.
Although don't expect some cheap American fabrication that glorifies consumerism. His Valentine's Day isn't about that. Love can't be expressed through chocolate or flowers, at least not in his opinion. It's about raw feelings. The word, the tender caress. You can leave it to him to verbalize such depth. After all, he didn't unite an entire country with sheer luck. He is a charismatic leader and, most importantly, a passionate lover. His poetic speeches and sung praise will leave you entranced.
He, too, may be tempted to use the element of surprise. Perhaps through an overly formal letter expressing his utmost disappointment that he won't be able to see you on this particular date. Prison technicalities, you must understand. Nothing he can do about it. Then, when you least expect it, he'll pull you into a most desperate embrace. Oh, he missed you so much. He'll be ready to serenade you, take you places, whisper sweet nothings. You'll feign shock and surprise; you already guessed he wouldn't miss the chance to spoil you, but you do enjoy going along with his games. "Surely you didn't expect me to leave you alone on such a day, my beloved", he'll reassure you fondly. Allow him to prove himself anew.
Musashi Miyamoto
Musashi does not quite understand all of the particularities such a holiday entails. Nor would he normally care for the mundane customs of the modern world. Yet he has noticed the switch of your tone whenever you mention the approaching date. The sheepish glances towards the mysterious heart-themed merch. For someone as observant as him, your excitement is ridiculously clear, no matter how much you shake your head in denial. If his partner wants it, he might as well entertain it. Why not?
Thus, he will begin his little research. What is it that piques your interest to such a degree? He might employ the other fighters to enlighten him on the matter. An amusing sight, if one considers it: the legendary samurai, pacing back and forth as Tokugawa stumbles to follow behind. "W-what about this?" The old man will humbly suggest. "Oooh, fascinating. Yes, yes." He'll respond, holding his chin thoughtfully. "However, it's not (Y/N)'s style. Next."
Keep in mind that Musashi will tailor everything to fit his nature. Flowers? Maybe. All the other modern knick-knacks? Forget it. He'll do you one better. Something you won't expect, because it's a gift meant for his time and age. After a long, frustrating search, he finds what he's looking for. A most unusual sight, but something that represents him indeed. He will proudly extend to you a small, slender kodachi with his family's name inscribed on the scabbard. What greater honor than to share his love and passion? The weapon has been carefully built to his standards, so you may defend yourself if such a need ever arises. For Musashi himself to curate a sword bearing his name, you might as well count it as a proposal.
Pickle
Lately, Baki has been focused on things beyond Pickle's understanding. The only time he'd seen the young boy so excited was before a match. On the other hand, what kind of opponent would Baki be fighting where bizarre, heart-shaped items are required? After a lot of gesturing, rudimentary explanation and show-and-tell demonstration, it finally clicks: it's a special occasion, not preparations for battle.
An occasion that doesn't involve just Baki and Kozue, but, by the looks of it, anyone with a mate. The idea pumps his heart with excitement. Is it something he could celebrate with his own (Y/N)? In that case, he absolutely wants to be part of it. Pickle demands to be shown the ropes, so he, too, can impress his partner. Not that he's not already showing his love (and ownership) with every opportunity.
And so here you are, standing outside your apartment, utterly baffled, shocked, speechless. Pickle has surprised you many times before with his horny mischief and troublemaker shenanigans, but never in your wildest dreams would you have imagined him showing up with balloons, chocolate and a date itinerary on Valentine's Day. You retrieve the little list from his massive hands - he probably can't even read anything on it - and scan over the text. Someone definitely helped him compile everything. Judging from the varied handwriting, it must've been a group effort from Lord knows how many fighters who enjoyed themselves way too much in aiding Pickle's romancing game. Nonetheless you're impressed, just as the prehistoric man had hoped. He sees your blushing face and immediately grins with pride. Who knows, maybe his efforts will be rewarded handsomely (you won't be walking straight until March).
Baki Hanma
Among the other men, Baki may be the only one to show unironic enthusiasm towards the upcoming holiday. He likes cute things (you included) and there's no shame in it. His focus has been switching between training, fighting in the Arena, and more training. He's looking forward to a little break, especially one that allows him to spend time with you.
He's not secretive about the process, either. He'll show up at your place with a stack of flyers and scribbled notes, asking you to trim down activities with him. Worry not, he has compiled an extensive list of available events for couples, as well as places to visit and general ideas. After all, part of the fun is to plan everything with you. Can you tell he's excited? Kneeling at the table and flipping through the options with a wide grin on his face, you can almost discern a wagging tail materializing behind him.
He could be slightly biased towards activities that allow him to impress you. A Valentine's Day fair, for example, is such a cheesy idea, but he can't resist the temptation to show off. "Beat the high score and win the prize" blinking in flashy colors above one of those boxing arcade machines? Oops! He was trying to hold back, but he ended up dislodging the whole thing from the ground. Sorry, (Y/N), he simply forgets how strong he is, sometimes. Something hard to avoid, given you’re his greatest motivation. Aren’t you proud of your boyfriend? Do praise the poor boy, he’s been itching to receive your affection. It’s been an eternity! Or maybe half an hour, but still.
Chiharu Shiba
Chiharu isn't one to care much for holidays and under regular circumstances he would probably forget about it, too, were it not for the aid of capitalism and heavy commercial propaganda. Therefore, it's hard to ignore the rapidly approaching date given the blaring ads and themed products found on every shelf. Oh, well. He loves spoiling you and he certainly won't miss an opportunity to declare his love in the most cheesy, predictable manner.
He might be a tad cheeky about the entire business. "Valentine's Day? Hmmm..." He'll hum, thoughtfully, feigning mild indifference. It's a difficult task: seeing you cast your eyes down, perhaps a little disappointed, makes him want to smash his own head into the first telephone pole. No one should ever dare to upset you in the slightest - him included! - he thinks, enraged. He struggles to fight the urge. It's for a good cause. Just a few days left. Do forgive him, darling (Y/N).
He'll surprise you in the ways he knows best. Maybe some fresh, heart shaped decals decorating the gas tank of his motorcycle. A flashy, pink tokko-fuku (or uniform jacket) with a particular slogan embroidered on its back. Whatever it is, he'll make sure everyone is aware of his cause. While he might not be the best with words, his actions will be loud and clear. He'll hand you a helmet and gesture for you to hop on the back of his bike. He planned a day-long road trip for the two of you. What's nicer than feeling the wind, the freedom, the warmth of your small arms tightly wrapped around him? He doesn't need overly sophisticated restaurants or whatever else comes with the package. Some great sights and you by his side, and he's the happiest man on this planet. To think someone like him would be privileged enough to gaze at a pretty little thing like you.

I'm watching this analysis of Manfred von Karma by @musashi, and stumbled upon this comment, referring to this scene:
Apparently yes, while that word can mean "incompetent, worthless", its main meaning is a more neutral "inexperienced", which fits the context of von Karma not trusting Edgeworth to be ready much better without implying he verbally abuses him so casually.
I'm honestly shocked. I was also one of those people who took that at face value and deduced von Karma always spoke lowly of Edgeworth. That's on par with SA1 translating "Guess I have no other choice" when Sonic has to chase Amy into Twinkle Park as "That girl is such a pain"/"I give up, she's so weird".
Hell, I remember something similar done in the first and third game! Characters were turned into assholes for no good reason!
Localizations are a terrible weapon, guys.
(of course, this is not to say that he did nothing wrong and he was a perfect father/mentor: he fucked up Edgeworth and Franziska quite nicely, even without counting the whole murder and framing thing lol. But it's much easier to believe that he was, overall, an incredibly strict but fair person to his children/protégé. Remember, Edgeworth's respect for him felt genuine, not just out of fear)

I was so upset that your NSFW cuddling scenarios got flagged 😭
But I have to ask, what would spicy cuddling with musashi, spec, and Doyle be like?
you’ve reawoken my old man thirst
omg wait it did?! SKskks I didn't even notice- But yes, if the beloved moot asks, they shall receive! Spec was the hardest to write for by far because I couldn't figure out if this man would actually cuddle but fuck it we ball(s deep in this bitch someone please throw me a rope to climb out it's wet in here) Kids: get bent lmfao
Musashi: His stare was intense enough to make you feel naked normally, but now that you were actually naked, his eyes locking on yours in the mirror only made you feel hot, his hips meeting yours from behind, slow and methodical, but not gentle. No, anything but gentle as he grabbed your throat, leaving you to make choked noises as his hips met yours over and over again in a slow, powerful grind that had your eyes rolling back into your skull with little to no effort on his part. Mean? Oh absolutely, he was so cruel, driving you insane by moving so slowly, and god you regretted asking him to cuddle you within view of a mirror, because you really should have known that he was going to make you watch him watching you taking him. And you could see him perfectly, each forward thrust of his hips making his shaft disappear deep within you, before it would be slowly dragged out only to slam back into you with dizzying force. Trying to turn your head to the side to nuzzle into the blankets only had him snatching your face to turn you to face the mirror again.
"Don't look away, I want to watch you come undone."
Spec: He didn't really cuddle, no, he was too tough for that. But him lounging around the place only to have you plop down on top of him to join him? Yeah, that was about as close as you'd get. Though if you were hoping for a peaceful nap with him, then you were sorely mistaken, since most of the time you did this there was a 50/50 split that he would wind up fucking you right then and there, and this was a gamble you'd lost (or won) as he bounced you up and down on his thick shaft, smugly chuckling as you were winded time and time again as his thick head kissed your insides, making room for itself so he could nestle deep inside of you. It was like he was trying to stab you to death with his dick, but instead of killing you, all he manged to do was succeeding in having you shaking and crying on top of him as an orgasm was forced out of you, one so powerful almost all your upper body strength vanished, leaving you slumped against his chest as he kept fucking you through it, pressing a sloppy kiss to your forehead with a breathy chuckle.
"That's right darlin', just like the perfect fuck toy fer me."
Doyle: It had been perfectly peaceful until you'd moved your hips an inch. A singular inch, not even, and he'd pounced on you. No more peace and quiet for you, the couch repeatedly slamming into your wall (god your neighbours would hate you if they didn't already) to the rhythm of Doyle's harsh thrusts. Fast but deep, there was no mercy as he left your head spinning from the pleasure and slight sting that it brought along, his hand sealed around your throat teasingly as he loomed over you smugly. He didn't need to say anything to get his point across, he knew how turned on you already were from him using you like a pliant and obedient doll, and honestly, for him? That's what you would be. Each snap of his hips was driving you closer and closer to your climax, and almost like he could taste it, he grinned, licking his teeth, and leaned over you, staring right into your eyes.
"So needy, you're behaving so well for me. Let's see if you can keep it up for just a bit longer, hm?"

Memories (Tokyo Revengers Mikey x Reader)
Chapter 1
Age 7
I stared at the blonde-haired boy in front of me with a confused expression. He met my gaze with a nonchalant look, holding a lollipop up to me, silently offering it. I took it and mumbled a quiet "thank you."
"We were wondering if you wanted to play with us..." he said, looking off to the side as if he couldn't care less.
I glanced past him at the door where a blonde-haired girl and a black-haired boy waved at me. Then I turned to look at my brother, who was working on his bike with his friend. He noticed me and gave me a nod.
"You're welcome to play, (Y/n). Just don't wander too far," my brother, Keigo, smiled at me. I grinned and ran off with the blonde boy.
"I'm Manjiro Sano, but you can call me Mikey," he introduced himself. "This is my little sister, Emma, and my friend Keisuke Baji."
"I'm (Y/n) Hori... but just call me (Y/n)."
"Wanna see some moves we learned at the dojo yesterday?" Baji asked excitedly.
I nodded, and we headed to the dojo. They spent the next hour and a half showing me a few moves and even teaching me some. After a while, Emma and I went to her room to play on our own.
Age 11
After school, I was walking home, heading back from choir practice. The sun was setting as I made my way through the park. It was mostly empty, except for three boys a bit older than me, standing near the swings, chatting.
But as soon as they saw me, they called out.
"Hey, cutie!" the brunette called with a cocky grin, clearly showing off for his friends. "Wanna be my girlfriend?"
I blinked, confused and a bit put off by his smugness. "Huh?"
"Come on, he asked you a question!" the shorter boy beside him said, mimicking his expression.
"Oh... um... no thank you. I'm not allowed to da—"
"Oh, shut up! Just say yes! We know you like him!" the third boy added, as the three of them closed in on me, blocking my way.
"I... You don't even know me!" I protested, hoping they'd just mistook me for someone else.
"Nah, you're (Y/n) from class 2," the brunette said, crushing any hope I had.
Before I knew it, the other two boys grabbed my arms, holding me in place while taunting me. That’s when my instincts kicked in.
I kicked the first boy hard in the side of the head, knocking him out cold. In the same motion, I tore myself free from the other two and ducked, then roundhouse kicked their legs out from under them. They stumbled back, clearly scared, and quickly grabbed their fallen friend and ran off.
I stood there, breathing heavily, trembling a little from the shock and adrenaline. I dusted myself off, trying to shake it off.
Then I heard a sharp whistle.
"Guess you didn’t need our help after all..." a silver-haired boy said, smirking as he shoved his hands in his pockets. Beside him were two blonde-haired boys—one with a scar on his jaw and the other with what looked like a fake tattoo on his head.
I let out a nervous chuckle, not sure how to respond.
Age 13
I was on the back of Keigo’s motorbike, gripping tightly as he zoomed down the streets, riding like a madman.
I punched his shoulder lightly. "Go slower!" I warned, but he just laughed it off, clearly enjoying the ride.
I frowned, my eyebrows knitting together in annoyance, before a small smile crept up on my face. Even though I didn’t want to admit it, I was kind of enjoying this.
Soon enough, we arrived at Musashi Shrine.
I jumped off the bike and took off my helmet before handing it back to Keigo.
"Thanks for the lift!" I called, spinning on my heel to run up the stairs.
At the top, I saw the boys standing in a circle, hands outstretched in front of them as if comparing something in the center.
"What are you guys doing?" I asked as I approached.
"(Y/n)!" Mikey and Mitsuya shouted in unison as they spotted me.
"We're trying to see if we can buy charms for our new biker gang, but we don’t have enough money," Draken said, clearly frustrated by the situation.
"Oh, I’ll buy one for you." I offered, pulling my wallet out.
They all lit up with excitement and practically tackled me to the ground in gratitude.
I paid for a purple charm, one for road safety and handed it to Baji.
"You should hold on to it for us, Baji," Mikey said with a grin.
"That’s right. You’re the reason we formed the gang in the first place." Draken added.
"Yeah, you take care of it." Mitsuya said, nodding in agreement.
"Take care of it for us." Pah-chin said, giving him a grin. Kazutora just hummed in agreement.
"I’ll take good care of it. You can count on me." Baji said, looking down at the charm like it was the most precious thing he owned.
I smiled softly, watching the boys being... well, boys.
"I’m sure you guys will achieve all your dreams... I’ll be watching." I said, giving a small grin.
"Thank you for buying it, (Y/n)." Mitsuya said, coming to stand next to me.
"You sure you don’t want to join?" Mikey asked, hopping closer, clearly excited by the idea.
"No, I’m good. I don’t think I’d fit in with a biker gang," I declined, shaking my head.
"Well... we promise that if you ever change your mind, there’ll always be a spot in the Tokyo Manji Gang for you!" Mikey said, raising his hands in excitement.
I raised an eyebrow, trying to hold back a laugh. "Tokyo Manji Gang? What a dumbass name!"
The boys burst out laughing with me.
"Hey! Quit it! It’s a cool name, okay!" Mikey protested, looking flustered.
---
A few weeks later
I was in my room, headphones on, strumming my guitar as the sound of the outside world faded. It was a typical Saturday afternoon, and for the first time in a while, I felt like I could breathe. The music was my escape from everything—school, the pressure, and the silent, empty space Keigo had left behind. He hadn’t been home much lately, but that wasn’t unusual. He was always out, doing something—something I didn’t want to ask about.
The door to my room creaked open, and I instinctively pulled off my headphones, my fingers still lightly pressing the strings. I looked up to see my parents standing in the doorway. My mom had her hands wrung together, and my dad looked... different. His face was pale, his eyes red-rimmed, like he hadn’t slept in days.
A cold chill ran through me. Something felt off, but I couldn’t place it.
“(Y/n),” my dad’s voice was soft, lower than usual, almost like he was holding something back. “We need to talk.”
I sat up, suddenly feeling like the room was too small. “What’s going on?” I asked, my voice unsteady.
Mom stepped into the room, her hands pressed together like she was praying, but there was no calmness in her. She looked like someone who had just been through a storm. Her eyes met mine, and I could tell she had been crying.
“Sweetheart...” she began, her voice breaking slightly, “We need to sit down.”
A pit opened in my stomach. I stood slowly, my legs trembling. Whatever it was, it couldn’t be good. I followed them into the living room, my heart racing with every step.
Once we were all seated, the silence stretched painfully. My mom kept looking at my dad, like she was waiting for him to say something. But he just stared at the floor, his jaw clenched tightly, as if he was trying to hold back tears.
I swallowed, trying to steady my voice. “What happened?”
My dad shifted in his seat, and for a long moment, he didn’t speak. My mom, tears brimming in her eyes, reached over to take my hand. Her touch was cold, and it sent an icy shiver up my spine.
“I don’t know how to say this,” Dad finally muttered, his voice rough. “Keigo... your brother... he’s gone.”
The world tilted. I blinked, trying to understand his words, to make them fit into something that made sense. “What do you mean gone?” I asked, my voice trembling. “Where is he? When is he coming home?”
Mom’s hand tightened around mine, and she let out a soft sob. It was then that I realized what they were saying. What they were telling me. Though I already knew when he had said it, I just didn't want to accept it.
“Keigo...” she whispered, her voice cracking. “He... he was killed.”
I couldn’t breathe. The air seemed to leave the room in an instant, leaving nothing but a suffocating silence. “No,” I gasped, shaking my head. “No, you’re wrong. He’s just... he’s just out with his friends. He’ll be back—he’s not... He’s not dead!”
Dad exhaled sharply, and his shoulders slumped. “(Y/n), listen to me. Keigo... he was involved with a gang called the Black Dragons. They... they got into a fight with another gang. It was supposed to be a small thing, just a clash. But it turned into something much worse. He... didn’t make it.”
The words were like a punch to the gut. I could feel my breath catch in my throat, like there was a weight pressing on my chest. “No... not Keigo,” I whispered, my eyes welling up. “Keigo wouldn’t... He wouldn’t be involved in something like that. He was... my brother. He...wouldn't do anything that could...that could get him killed!”
“I’m so sorry,” my dad said, his voice raw with emotion. “But it’s true. He’s gone, (Y/n). He didn’t stand a chance. It happened so fast, and by the time the police got there, it was already over.”
I couldn’t process it. My mind was spinning, each word he said ringing in my ears, but none of it felt real. Keigo. Dead. He couldn’t be dead. He was always there, always watching out for me. He was my older brother. My protector.
I looked at my mom, desperate for reassurance, for something that made this feel less like a nightmare. But she was crying, her face a mess of anguish.
“This isn’t real,” I whispered again, this time louder. “This can’t be real. He was... he was just here. We were just talking about stuff... and he promised he’d come home.”
My dad finally looked up, his eyes red and swollen from grief. “He was trying to leave that life, (Y/n). He didn’t want you to know. He didn’t want us to know how deep he was in, but... he was always trying to protect you. He was trying to get out before things escalated, but it was too late.”
The tears came then, hot and unrelenting. I felt them pouring down my cheeks as I tried to wrap my mind around the idea that Keigo was gone. My protector, my older brother, the person who was always there... gone in a flash.
I stood up abruptly, my legs unsteady as I tried to escape the suffocating grief in the room. “No. I can’t... I can’t be here right now,” I gasped, stumbling towards the door.
“(Y/n), please...” my mom called after me, but I couldn’t stop.
I ran outside, gasping for air, my body shaking uncontrollably. My chest ached like it was being crushed by an invisible weight.
Keigo... was really gone.
I had lost him.
I had lost him to a world I never even knew he was a part of.
The night seemed darker somehow, colder. And no matter how much I tried to breathe, it wouldn’t fill the hole in my chest.
A month later
I stood at the edge of the parking lot, the setting sun casting long shadows on the cracked asphalt. My hands clenched into fists, the anger and sadness mixing into something unbearable. The warmth of the evening felt suffocating, too hot, too close, like the world itself was pressing down on me.
Mikey, Draken, and Mitsuya were standing a few feet away, their faces serious. They had been waiting for me to show up, but I knew they didn’t expect this. None of them did.
I swallowed, my throat dry as sand. “I don’t want to see you guys anymore,” I said, my voice trembling but firm.
They all looked at me like I had slapped them. Mikey’s eyes widened, and Draken’s face hardened into something unreadable. Mitsuya’s brows furrowed, his usual calm demeanor slipping for just a moment.
“...what?” Draken’s voice was low, unsure, like he couldn’t believe what I was saying. “What are you talking about, (Y/n)?”
I looked down, trying to hold back the tears that burned in the back of my eyes. “I know what you’re planning. I know about the gang. The Tokyo Manji Gang. I know you want to start it.”
Mikey took a step forward, his face scrunched in confusion. “What the hell are you talking about? You knew that already.”
“No,” I shook my head, voice shaking now. “You told me about the gang, I thought it was more of a joke, but now I know you're serious, and I know what it means. I know the kind of people you’ll become... the kind of people I don’t want to be around. And not only that, but I stand a high chance of also losing you, and I dont think I could handle the pain if you were killed too.”
“You don’t know what you’re saying,” Mikey said softly, his tone more gentle now, like he was trying to convince me that everything was fine, like he always had. “We’re just having fun, we just wanna build a new era for delinquents. It’s not that serious.”
“Not that serious?!” My voice cracked, rising with the pain I could barely keep contained. “It’s that serious, Mikey! I lost my brother because of that world—because of the gangs! Keigo is dead because of that world!”
The words hung in the air like a heavy stone, and I saw their faces shift. Mikey's eyes faltered, Draken’s jaw tightened, Mitsuya’s hands balled into fists. They knew. They had known.
“Your brother—” Draken began, but I cut him off.
“I know what happened,” I spat. “I know Keigo was in the Black Dragons. And I know what happened with Baji and Kazutora. I know Mikey’s brother was killed because of them. And now you've lost your brother too but you still wanna continue? Baji and Kazutora are behind bars for murder! Its a matter of time before you're all dead or in jail. New era of delinquents? I don’t give a damn about any of that. I don’t care about the gangs, about the stupid names and the stupid promises you’re making.”
I felt bringing up the incident with Mikey's brother was a bit too harsh, seeing as the incident had only happened a few days ago.
Mikey’s face softened, but his eyes were sharp. “It’s not like that, (Y/n). We’re not the same as the Black Dragons. This is different.”
“It’s the same,” I retorted, my heart aching. “It’s all the same, Baji and Kazutora killed someone! You’re all the same. You’re just dragging more people into it. People like me.”
I took a step back, the pain of everything clawing at my chest. “I can’t be friends with you if you’re going to keep doing this. I can’t stand by and watch you ruin yourselves... and ruin everything we’ve ever had.”
Mitsuya was silent, his face unreadable, but I saw the flicker of emotion in his eyes. The hurt, the confusion, the betrayal—just like mine.
“I’m sorry,” I whispered, my voice cracking. “But I can’t. I can’t do it. I can’t watch you turn into... this.”
Mikey took another step forward, his eyes intense, almost desperate. “(Y/n)... we’re not going to stop. This is who we are. This is what we’re going to do. It’s not just a gang—it’s a family.”
I took a deep breath, my eyes burning with unshed tears. “Then I guess I’m not a part of your family anymore,” I said, the words tasting like ash in my mouth. “If that’s the life you want, then go. But I’m not going with you. I won’t be a part of it.”
Mikey’s expression faltered for a second, the weight of my words hitting him. But it wasn’t enough. He stood tall, his shoulders squared, his eyes hardening again. “I don’t want to lose you, (Y/n). But I can’t stop. This is who I am now.”
“And I’m not going to follow you into it,” I said, my voice steady despite the storm inside me. “I loved my brother, Mikey. And I know you loved your brother too. But we’re not the same. We’re not the same people anymore. I can’t lose myself just to stay in your world.”
The silence that followed was deafening.
Draken looked away, his fists clenched by his sides, his usual calm expression replaced with a painful sorrow. Mitsuya was the same, his eyes distant, but there was a sadness there that matched mine.
“I’m sorry, (Y/n),” Mikey said, his voice strained, almost cracking. “But we’re doing this, with or without you.”
I swallowed hard, the tears finally spilling over. “Then this is goodbye.”
They didn’t say anything else. There was no more arguing, no more promises. They just turned and walked away. I stood there, watching them go, my heart breaking with every step they took.
I had to let them go. But it didn’t make it hurt any less.

Hey, it's me again, really liked your last hc about mumon and musashi, sorry if it's too much for these characters, they are my favorite along side others but thas not the case.
Could you please write retsu, mumon, musashi, baki and sukune(if you don't know who he is he is basically a sumo fighter from baki)with a very shy and small realder that is a belly dancer and perfoms for big crouds and audiences.
Thank you for writhing these headcanons, they allwyas surpass my expectations :)
A kiss on the cheek
I still don't write for Sukune, just because I don't know how to write about him yet 💕 Thank u so much for reading.
Situation: Shy and small reader that is a belly dancer / Lector timido y pequeño que es bailarín de vientre
Characters: Baki Hanma, Jun Guevara, Mumon Katsuragi, Musashi Miyamoto and Retsu Kaioh.
Baki Hanma.
His jaw dropped for the first time, was everyone seeing the same angel he was seeing? It was something new, a halftime show at a competition he attended, so he was in the front row.
The movements of the S/O stole his breath, he was a little embarrassed to pay so much attention to the movement of their hips, but he simply couldn't take his eyes off them. The sequins that shone with colored lights, the ruffles tied around their waist that floated with every movement, and the elegance with which their hands danced along with their figure, was something he had never seen before.
He came up to the end of the halftime event, when the S/O had already left to freshen up and take a break. Baki didn't know what else to say besides that he really liked the presentation, the S/O nodded silently without looking directly into his eyes with a slightly heated face.
You imagine two embarrassed teenagers trying to talk to each other when everyone notices that they like each other, yes, that's what the scene looked like from the outside.
The S/O was probably the first to escape, while Baki was still trying to make his brain work again. He smacked his face in regretting not having said more, something better.
He is preoccupied with thinking about the S/O the rest of the event, if he's lucky and fast enough he might look for them again to talk to them, maybe ask for their number too.
Baki really liked S/O, he thinks they're so talented and cute, he's a little sorry that they're so shy, but that won't discourage him at all.
Jun Guevara.
He saw the S/O during one of those big presentations and he was simply enchanted, the way they moved, the hypnotic eyes that focused on no one in particular and that outfit that seemed to make them glow in the light. Just captivating.
Movements so well-groomed and elegant that they only called him to look, just gorgeous.
He approached as the show came to a close, he braced himself to receive a flirtatious or even arrogant personality, the S/O was a beauty he was willing to put up with a lousy personality for.
Big was his surprise when the S/O looked at him shyly as he mentioned how dazzling they looked on and off stage. They thanked with a small voice and tried to escape Jun's gaze.
"Is that a timid little thing we have here, hm?" he chuckled when the S/O shrugged without looking back at him, they seemed smaller than they already were.
He let the S/O go before overwhelming them too much, but not before introducing himself in a nicer way, he would try to attend their next performance to have a better chance.
Jun thinks they're cute, just that shyness and dazzling performance of them is refreshing. He wants to see them more.
Mumon Katsuragi.
He's a bit cheeky in his look, the S/O will definitely notice him in the audience. He just thinks they're awesome, it sure took a lot of effort and their practices being able to do those kinds of moves.
His favorite part is the dress, the sequins and ruffles make the outfit sparkle under the artificial lights magnificently. The S/O seems to be covered in gold.
He's probably the one to start the standing ovation, no one was slow to follow because it was definitely a great show.
He sneaked to the back so he could see the S/O, waiting for them in the hallway with a small bouquet of flowers as a gift. He perked up as soon as he saw them come out of the staff room in a different outfit, second show, he guessed.
"You were amazing out there," he says with an easy smile, offering the gift. The S/O embarrassedly accepts the flowers and thanks for the compliment, Mumon watches as he cringes in on themselves in pity.
Mumon is calm and nice to create a good atmosphere with which the S/O would be comfortable, he makes them laugh and tries to make them enjoy his company.
Mumon thinks that S/O is just beautiful, their shy personality gives them a different air, he tries hard to be friendly and not bother them so they can connect with each other.
Musashi Miyamoto.
The S/O can DEFINITELY feel Musashi's gaze on themselves, and who can't?
Musashi watches almost engrossed in the dance they do, all the glitter, music and colors spinning to give S/O a fantastic atmosphere that makes their performance hard to ignore.
He walks through event security like it's nothing, just because he wants to get a closer look at this flashy person after he's disappeared backstage.
The movements replayed in Musashi's mind like a lucid movie, every twist and turn he witnessed etched into his brain.
The S/O shifted uncomfortably under the samurai's watchful eye, the man having cornered them as they stepped out of the staff area, stuttering when they asked if there was anything they could do for him.
Musashi cocks his head and watches them closely, making the S/O more nervous, only to let go of the comment "you're cuter up close".
Musashi probably doesn't understand why they are so nervous after his words, he was being sincere, what's wrong with that?
Retsu Kaioh.
Katsumi and the dojo students took him to see the show, he wouldn't have gone on his own. He watches over the entire show, especially when the S/O comes on the scene.
He gapes throughout the dance, the lights glowing in bright colors bouncing off the S/O's body and attire throughout the dance. The students of the dojo note how his eyes do not stray from the S / O.
S/O's movements were so hypnotic and well-cared for that he couldn't help but wonder how long it took them to achieve such impeccable movements.
He ignores the teasing of his companions at the end of the show when they imitated his expression, Retsu would be a little more focused on getting flowers.
He went to see the S/O with flowers in his hands, the others also accompanied him, and he praised the act of the S/O as soon as he saw them. He saw them laugh nervously as they accepted the detail, "I want to congratulate all the effort you surely put into your dance, it was incredible"
S/O stuttered with gratitude at Retsu's words, and the complicit looks of the karate fighters, before saying goodbye to him to return to their duties.
Retsu was captivated by the impressive presentation of the S/O and by the cute embarrassed expression they made when he praised them, he really hopes that their paths will cross again soon.
Versión en español.
Baki Hanma.

Calm down, Issa, this is Moji. Shimonoseki is on the opposite shore, it's in Yamaguchi Prefecture
3: 1000 years ago, the final battle between Genji and Heike happened here
Pag 3
2: You know that because we did it recently in Japanese History? So you were awake....
3: The master fencer Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Kotaro had their duel in the close Ganryu Island!!
Ah... almost, but not really. It's Sasaki Kojiro; Kotaro is a friend of yours
5: Here!!
6: Here it's the starting point of the Inter High!!
8: Us!!
Pag 4

Let's go renew our determination!!)
4: -can always shake my heart!!
Yeah, Issa!!
Pag 6
1: The towel is cast!!*
2: It's “the die is cast”!!*
Die is dice and it means “it's already started so you have to move forward”!! To “throw the towel” means to “give up”!!
(*NdT.: here Issa uses two very similar words: he says “saji” while it's actually “sai”)
3: Ahhh, dammit, I'm really so fired up!!
4: Let's go show this excitement to him!!
Him!?
To Doubashi!! Hahaha
Hm... wait, you want to go to Hakogaku's tent!? You want to march inside? Stop, Issa!!
Pag 7
3: We're here

6: And even on his elbows there are traces of fights...!!
Pag 9
1: I came to tell you how much stronger I got in this past year
Oi, stop, if you say something like this now, you'll definitely regret it later
Nah, I'll say it
3: There's another person
4: Ah....
5: Is he also..... a regular?
6: Ah, Yes, I'm Sohoku's... second year...
Hahaha I'll introduce you!!
7: Is he your partner, Orange?
Hahaha, that's right!!
8: Our team's name is SS!! His name is Danchiku!!
I'm telling you this for your own good
9: Stop
Pag 10
1: This guy's a “chicken*”
(*NdT.: here the literal translation of the kanji used is "weak-hearted", while the reading says "chicken")
Pag 11
2: He'll run away right away
3: Buah!!
4: Road racing half a mental sport!! The distance is long and there'll be a lot of difficult moments. I don't know what kind of runner this guy is, but he's mentally weak and he'll be crushed by the pressure, especially at the Inter High!!
5: He got my weak point with one shot....!!
6: Nah, Orange!! Let's have a serious race, the two of us
Ah!?
And bring a better guy than this!! Ah!?
7: This one's no good, he can't run!!
That's what the sensor in my polished body are telling me
8: Doesn't Sohoku have a reserve!? You should.....
Pag 12
1: Replace him right now
4: Yuuto lost to a guy like this?
Ah!?
Well, I guess you had quite an advantage since it was a rcae in your hometown
Danchiku won!!
5: Would it be better if I was replaced...? No
He's not a bad guy, but.... sometimes he says bad stuff. Last year, too-
6: No, that's not true!!
What am I saying!! I'll run!! I'll be the one running!!
Pag 13
1: In the Inter High!! Together with Issa!!
2: Ehi, welcome back. Did you have fun on your walk?
… yeah
I've done the oiling and the gear check
Did you see the sea?
It was fired up!!
3: Fired up?
The sea was fired up!!
4: “My heart is small”
“Yours is much bigger”
5: Sugimoto-san.....
Once you get dressed could you try ride it?
Pag 14
1: Uhm, Sugimoto-san
3: Hm?
4: Hy.... hypothetically
5: If right now
6: I said I couldn't run, what would you do?
Pag 15
4: Since the day I was chosen as a reserve
5: I haven't taken even one day off practice
7: The members may seem to be in perfect condition, but they could accidentally fall and get injured, or get ill
Be ready to run the moment you know someone can't run, that's what a reserve is
I
8: I spent my time wishing that all my efforts would be in vain
Pag 16
1: I would run for all three days!!
Now I'll put this toolbox down, put on the my cleats and prepare my own bike!!
Can be done in fifteen minutes!!
Pag 17
2: Be prepared!!
4: I-I'm sorry!!
I'm sorry for saying stupid things
5: In road racing a reserve can only be subbed in until the start of the first day
The rules say that you can't change during the race
6: Is that so!?
You didn't know that!?
7: Once the race starts, if someone can't run, he can't be substituted
He retires and the number of people in the tea decreases... that's road racing
8: If your condition isn't good, tell us now
It's more advantageous is all six people run
9: It's alright, if you made that decision
Pag 18
1: No one will blame you
Pag 19
1: This trial run on the course is terrific, Danchiku
The sea is in full view!!
2: That tanker is huugee!!
“No one will blame you”
3: Don't hang your head, don't look down
What a I thinking!!
Raise your head!!
4: Issa is here
5: The Inter High I've longed for
6: “Stop”
“Chicken”
7: The die is cast!!

I get it, Saber. Oh boy, do I get it. But we do have that whole whale out there still, we might need you to sharpen up, at least so you can impress the pretty lady. I mean you NEED to score her flame pad address here.
MUSASHI: "Come on, when am I not sharp? I'm the Flower Swordmaster of the High Seas with this Mystic Code on, I'm basically unstoppable!"
After that comment, and some intense deliberation, you decided it'd be best to take the PRIVATEER's offer. The price put a bit of a dent in your pockets, but 1000 PPT and a bottle of wine doesn't seem too bad.
PRIVATEER: "Good deal! Pleasure doin' business! Come aboard!"
MUSASHI: "Thank you! Glad to be part of the crew, Captain!"
As MUSASHI helped you up onto the deck, the PRIVATEER gleefully took the wine, and 1000 of your hard-earned PPT. She snapped her fingers, and a few figures materialized on the ship. The crew, most likely. Some of them seemed ethereal, like ghosts. Others, however, seemed more solid.
PRIVATEER: "Alright, you bastards! Now we've got ourselves a whale to bag! Let's remind that whale exactly who he's messing with!"
SKELETON PIRATE: "B-But ain't you afraid it's gonna eat everyone up, Admiral?"
ADMIRAL: "…Do I look like krill to you? I'm the Admiral of the god-damn Solar Cell, so let's show that bloated ball of blubber what's what! Now, do any of you lily-livered suckers want to hop off now, or do you want to show the Solar Cell and the Moon what you're actually made of? You joined 'cause you wanted to be pirates, right? 'Cause you were bored of that hoity-toity Solar lifestyle, right?"
CREW: "Of course, Admiral!"
ADMIRAL: "Then are you gonna run scared from an itty-bitty whale!?"
CREW: "Of course not, Admiral! We're ready to sail!"
ADMIRAL: "That's what I like to hear! Now let's get to our stations and hit the seas! I catch any one of you slacking, and our guests will get a first-hand showing of what it looks like when someone is keelhauled out into monster-infested waters!"
The crew shouted in affirmative unison as they scattered about, and the ship began to hit the seas. The ADMIRAL leaped up onto the helm, taking the wheel. You felt a harsh ocean wind begin to rush against you as the vessel picked up in speed, splashing against the ocean waters.
MUSASHI: "Woah, talk about charisma... even I'm starting to feel pumped up!"
The Captain's excitement is infectious! MUSASHI gets an extra Mana Charge for this fight!
-
JAGUAR MAN: "And the crowd goes wild! Shrewd fighters don't get to see her in action, but this should be a treat even for our newbies! You know her, you love her, can we get a resounding cheer for our Admiral!"
DURYODHANA: "Hah! 'Love' is a strong word, especially for a disgraced woman like her… but she's a proven Servant. Summoned as a prospective General, instantly got a big head before she even got her Trigger Key and snagged several Solar Cell Zones practically unopposed, and then held them ransom! 'Course, the payout was monumental, but it's not like you can stay on the Council after a stunt like that. I'm surprised she still has a title, frankly."
-
ADMIRAL: "Uh-oh, are they gossiping about me? Don't forget the part where I held the Priestess at gunpoint!"
Considering what you knew about the Solar Cell, that seemed like an incredibly serious crime, but she was using a tone more akin to how a teenager might talk about throwing eggs at someone's house.
There was a quiet splash next to the ship, as one of the pirates waddled out of the water and over to the captain.
SHARK-PERSON(?): "...cap'n."
ADMIRAL: "Yes, Jawsica?"
JAWSICA: "......we've got incomin' projectiles seven cables away an' quickly closin' in. lookin' to be 'bout three in total."
ADMIRAL: "Haha, really now? Well, ain't that sweet! Moby's sendin' presents our way, and it's not even my birthday! Hang on tight, you scallywags!"
As the shark-headed pirate scampered off, the ADMIRAL gripped the ship's wheel with both hands, spinning it heavily as the ship tilted away. You saw three flashes of blue light shooting through the water, before suddenly detonating.
MUSASHI: "Woah! Masters, look out!"
The ship rocked violently as several eruptions in the water, the motion and the explosions knocking you off kilter. The wheel was spun again at the helm, as the ship steadied itself. You heard the ADMIRAL behind you let out a loud, excited hoot as she raised a fist in the air, cackling like a madwoman.
ADMIRAL: "Woo~ooh! Don't you just love the thrill of danger?! Alright, I've got my hands on the wheel, but you're the fighters! I'm followin' your lead!"
Alright. Now was the time for you and SABER to engage the enemy.
You're currently far away from MOBY DICK. You know the vague direction it is, helped by following the line where the projectiles came from. You can see the faint outline of a shadow in the water, but that's about it, and the shadow itself seems to ebb and flow.
See this post to see SABER's actions!

Mitsuya x Reader
Warning: Female reader and cursing.
Scenario: Based on the manga chapter 198.
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 901
------
Just as promised from 12 years ago, everyone met at the Musashi shrine on June 19th to open the time capsules. You couldn't remember exactly what you wrote, but you were excited to see what your past self had to say. After greeting everyone and grabbing your boxes, the old Toman gang began to read their letters out loud.
It felt nostalgic listening to each other's dreams, bringing you back to your younger days. Who would've thought that up to now, all of you remained good friends. There was one person that you did wish you weren't just friends with though.
"Then how about you, Taka-chan!?"
Even hearing his name sent your heart into an irregular beat. You honestly felt like you were back in high school almost every time you were around Mitsuya. If you could write back to your younger self, it would be to encourage yourself to confess to your long time crush. Or at least tell someone trustworthy so they could find out for you.
Because years later, you're still wondering what would have happened if you just told Mitsuya your feelings.
"So, who's next?" asks Mitsuya, his voice refocusing you on the present.
"I'll go." You volunteered, eager to read your letter.
"Dear __(y/n). Hope things are good over there in the future! Any cool new stuff that came out? How about school? Did you make it and end up with the career you wanted? I hope so! Because I'm busting my ass over here. I hope you're still friends with everyone and that we're all still having fun. Also, did you ever end up with-" You stopped yourself before proceeding any further. "Oop, gonna skip that part."
Your audience groans out protests, some encouraging you to read your letter in its entirety. You argue back and stay firm with your decision. "No way! It's super private and kinda embarrassing!" You continue on, making sure to avoid any questions that involve you dating Mitsuya. Gosh, what the hell was your 15 year old self thinking?!
"Boo! You definitely left some parts out." Hakkai points his thumb down.
"Just leave it Hakkai. Let's respect her privacy." Mitsuya saves you from any more teasing. You thank the seamster then give the floor to someone else.
"Holy shit! I didn't know you liked Mitsuya!" You turn your head instantly to the voice behind you.
"Well you and everyone else knows now, you big mouth!" You could feel your face become warmer at the sound of some snickering and others suddenly questioning you. You avoided looking in Mitsuya's direction, afraid to see his reaction.
"My bad! I just happened to take a peek and didn't think about it!" Takemichi hides behind his hands while Draken calms the crowd so they could finish opening the remaining time capsules.
Once everyone had their turn, no one mentioned your crush on Mitsuya and started heading to the designated restaurant for dinner. You stayed behind a bit more, looking up at the tree where you buried your letters.
"Crazy how it doesn't feel that long." You jump at Mitsuya's approaching voice.
"Ye-yeah, guess it's because we still see each other pretty frequently." It was so hard to look at him, but you felt like you owed him an apology. "I'm sorry for what Takemichi said. I'm sure it was embarrassing for you and-"
"Embarrassing? Why do you say that?"
"Because of what I wrote? Don't you feel...weirded out?"
"Of course not. If anything, I wanna kick my younger self in the ass for not asking you out then."
"No way! You liked me back?" Your pulse quickens at the thought of you and your high school crush dating. You then feel your heart sink with sadness, reminding yourself that you're in the present and whatever silly feelings he had for you was probably gone. "But, I guess it's too late, huh?"
"Is it?" Mitsuya turns to face you, lilac meeting __(e/c). "I still like you and if your feelings for me haven’t changed, who’s to say that we can’t start now? Might be bold of me to assume that you still like me, but I've made a promise to not live with regrets."
"I would...really like that." Your face heats up, voice soft with your eyes avoiding his gaze. Mitsuya chuckles at your shy form, but he, too, is also feeling his stomach doing cartwheels.
"There is also another thing that I wish I had done before."
"What's that?" You asked then felt your face being cradled by his hands. You see him draw his face close to yours, sending your heart racing. It pumps faster the closer he gets, your breath stuck in your lungs.
"Oh fuck!" Mitsuya freezes when he's only centimeters away from your lips then gently releases your face. You both see Takemichi trying to quiet Hakkai as the tall male's jaw continues to drop.
"So-sorr-sorry! We just wanted to make sure you guys were coming, but we'll meet you at the restaurant!" Takemichi immediately turns Mitsuya's right hand man towards their respective vehicles.
"Guess we'll just have to wait until our first date." You laugh lightly, the heat slowly leaving your cheeks.
"Who says we can't get a preview?" Mitsuya leans towards you again, gingerly touching his lips with yours.
He probably shouldn't have done that because, now, he can't quell his desire for more.
