So there’s this Mexican restaurant up from my place that’s named Casa de Tres Reyes so House of Three Kings but I like to think that Miguel, Angel, and EZ got together and became civil and opened a nice restaurant in a new town with Felipe happy to have his boys around. None of that other awful shit ever happened.

Casa de Tres Reyes is now the three Reyes brothers restaurant. 🤷🏼‍♀��

since we’re an interfaith family, we celebrate both christmas and hanukkah. hanukkah is 8 nights. christmas has an eve and a day. barely making 2 days total.

Adding this to the list of “things that didn’t happen but should have” for the sequel trilogy

you know what? I hadn’t thought about it in a while, but I am actually still very upset that we never got to see John Boyega give an impassioned speech to an army of hostile stormtroopers, and partway through the speech just one trooper lays her blaster down and takes her helmet off, and by the end Finn has won them over and they all take their helmets off as the music swells, which signifies their change of allegiance and also reminds us the audience that underneath all those indistinguishable white helmets are people with faces and personalities and hopes and dreams and connections to the Force, people who will be led by one of their own as they rise up in rebellion against the fascist empire that treated them like interchangeable cannon fodder.

we should have had that in a movie! and we didn’t! and I’m still mad about it!

Hot take but if an author’s main motivation for a screen adaptation of their book(s) is to do what they wished they had written in the first place, then maybe a screen adaptation shouldn’t be made. People fell in love with what already existed and that’s what they want to see. Isn’t that enough? Anyways, if you like seeing what-if things went differently for stories, fanfiction is right there. There are so many fanfics that do exactly that

i could honestly write a fucking essay on how olivia benson is one the most lesbian coded characters ever written on television and she would’ve canonically been so if this show wasn’t terrible in representing lgbt people and full of copaganda, they can’t afford to have a lesbian lead (cowardly so) I personally think and will forever think that she’s a lesbian with deep comphet issues, doesn’t matter how much they try to gaslight me… it’s been — almost — 26 seasons but honey that closet is GLASS atp
