Maestro Yehudi Menuhin conducted Beethoven .
This is not a warm-up before a performance; Menuhin conducted Beethoven's 5th Symphony in this stance at the concert to mark the 100th anniversary of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in 1982.
Thank you FB @Christophe Germanique

Sparkstember Day 3:
Today I pulled out my rare import copy of Menuhin Conducts Mael, which some cynically deride as a cash-grab to capitalize on his name-drop on Amateur Hour. However Yehudi pulls out all the stops on this one—worth tracking down for his interpretation of Goofing Off alone!

This is one of the biggest cognitive frauds that the progressive movement has played on everyone.
By fixating on white supremacists and racism and infantilising ethnic minorities, they have provided cover for the very racial bigotry they claim to oppose. For many progressives, this was done out of (in my view, predictable) ignorance. But for many others, it was a deliberate tactic to help sanitise even more dangerous bigots.
White supremacists and neo-Nazis are deplorable, yet far from globally dominant. Meanwhile, Palestinian and other Arab neo-Nazis have not only multiple strongholds across the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia, but are clearly winning a cognitive war on the West in order to convince civilised people that the resurgence of Nazism against the Jews is morally justified.
Everything that white supremacists believe is copied by Palestinian neo-Nazis. Both believe in racial supremacy. Both scapegoat the Jews as being uniquely evil and responsible for the undermining of the "superior" race. Both sanitise and deny the unspeakable horrors of the Holocaust. Both respect and seek to emulate the German Nazi dictator, Adolf Hitler. Both are terrorists. Both have a malignant victimhood complex, often expressed as childhish defensiveness whenever their wicked beliefs and conduct are challenged.
Consider that the son of Jewish violin legend Yehudi Menuhin, Gerard Menuhin, is a Jewish white supremacist Holocaust denier (yes, they exist) who was interviewed by a Muslim newspaper in Germany where he spread hatred against Israel and the Jews.
To deal with the problem of antisemitism correctly, one must reject the hierarchy of oppression offered by the current progressive movement. Instead, one should judge all people by their actions, regardless of whatever persecution they may or may not have suffered in the past.
In that way, one can deal with the global danger of Arab and Muslim antisemitism in the same way one deals with white European/American neo-Nazis.
