A/N: Feel particularly sleepy today. The weather sucks. I need cuddles from my favorite characters.

ANAKIN

Pulls you into bed with him and doesn't let you do anything work related for the rest of the day. Don't even think about anything work related when you're spending time with him, he is your beacon for a stress-free zone. He kisses your forehead while you cuddle, his hands pressing into your tense muscles. Considers it a great achievement when you fall asleep in his arms like that.

LUKE

Invites you to a meditation session with him. Might sounds silly but it really helps relax both the mind and the body, clear your thoughts, let go off all the stressful things of the day. His hands reach for yours, constantly rubbing his thumbs over the back of your hands to help you relax further. If you can't relax he will talk you through it, giving you his words of affection to focus on.

BEN

Oh he is not the best at relaxing, in fact he might be one of the worst people in the galaxy for that. But if there's anything he can be proud of is that he really does try to help you de-stress. It's a little aggressive still, he wants to be close to you, give you a few little kisses but passion soon takes over. And while that can help you relax in certain ways you'd much prefer a simple cuddle session.

REY

You tell her she should take care of herself as much as she's taking care of you. This confuses how her. How will this help you relax? Well, if she isn't freaking out about you all the time and how much she has to work to give you the things you want then you would both be able to relax together, which would also mean more quality time spent together.

LEIA

Tells you to get as comfortable as you can be because she's gonna give you the best massage you've ever had in your life. She hadn't given many but she did get a lot of massages growing up. It's the perks of being royalty and she's confident she can help you relax the same way. She goes a little too hard on the knots in your shoulders but eventually she does hear you sigh in relief.

HAN

Will take your mind off anything stressful by telling about the latest heist offer he got. Yeah, the job is pretty reckless, but it sounds fun. He won't really go on this specific heist mind you, the pay is too low for someone of his caliber, but he's telling you how it could go, making you laugh by doing so. Making you laugh is all the reward he needs at the end of the day.

OBI-WAN

Has a whole relaxing evening planned out perfectly by the time you get home, no detail will escape him. It's almost too perfectly planned, so much so that he puts all that pressure on himself but hopes his charming smile is enough to distract from that. Won't put that pressure on you, he only wants you to relax and let him do things for you for a change. You deserve to relax after a long day of work.

DIN

The man is a great listener and cuddler and he will use both of those skill sets to help you unwind. Whatever you need to say to get things off your chest you can say it to him, and he will do his best to take care of the problem. Not necessary by going in and taking care of the problem personally, but just offering advice. But if his personal intervention is necessary he will go in and clean up the mess.

SABINE

Latches onto you whenever she can. She acts like she's a sponge that will absorb all of your stress, she will soak it up and help it melt away. Every time she notices you're feeling stressed, or pent up or sad there's a hug waiting for you, big or small it hardly matters to her how long you want her to hug you. It's important that you know she's there for you whenever you need her.

SHIN

Isn't good at giving advice or dealing with stress. She's not someone who considers herself a stressed person so the feeling is unfamiliar to her, she doesn't know how to help you. That being said she will at least listen, really listen to what you have to say and the reasons why you're stressed. At the end all she can offer you is her closeness, her presence there, but even that is enough.

I am VERY enticed by these tags. I am holding them like a flower. Caracalla in this scene is absolutely the inspiration for half the Renaissance art we know today, by the graces of being so high off his arse he can't even steadily get out of his seat. The way he reaches for Thraex's hand, and then holds it, makes me think of that post about how he holds Macrinus's hand later and just won't let go. Really showing the need to be touched, need to be held, to have gentleness shown to him in these tiny gestures. I don't think he notices, and if anybody else does, they think it's just him being high/him being sick, but that's so profound to him. It's something that comes from much deeper than that.

And yeah right after we're back to... that. Geta's great at generic manspreading while we see Caracalla go from fully splayed to sitting with his legs crossed like the prettiest princess Rome ever had. This is what we call range.

As per the question of the underwear, I think - honestly - it's just because he is wild like this. Someone who sits straight and has their legs mostly aimed at the floor doesn't need to worry about flashing the room with their junk every two seconds (and according to everything I've read by now that was a real issue that Roman men tended to have actually lmfao), but Caracalla is all over the place all of the time and needs the extra layer of decency on him for that. Maybe even for privacy/personal feeling of security. He wouldn't want to need to worry about something like that - make it something to worry about - so it's easier to just dress accordingly from the start.

I'm almost certain Geta is as careful. Not because he actually is in any real danger of flashing the room but because he'd die if he did it anyway. Having to watch Caracalla move the way that he does and no doubt has always done has probably taught him both to sit very still for himself and make sure that if there's ever a situation, he's still leaving something up for imagination.

After doing such annoyingly thorough research into whatever the hell Romans were hiding under their skirts, I am absolutely obsessed with the idea of the twins wearing fancy lite versions of subligaculum, made out of thin and soft materials that allow them to actually keep that shit hidden under their ceremonials without unnecessary bulge. I spent like 12 000 words with that thought and it's never leaving me again.

Shadow's Future

I love Adventure 2 and Shadow’s backstory, with the things that surrounded Maria and Gerald, but I sure hope that Shadow Generations is going to be looking back for only one last time so it can fully move forward. So Shadow can move forward. After this game and all its promotional material (+ Movie 3), I want Maria and Gerald to be put in the vault once for and all and never be used in any official capacity again.

I don’t say that out of personal fatigue of their story and connection to Shadow, but for how complete it is by now. What will be left to explore? What else does this old story have to say that it hasn’t already since 2001? What could be added to this little bit of the greater Sonic the Hedgehog lore anymore?

Reply: pretty much. I think that at this point I would only like to see Maria in fluffy vignettes, like that drawing where apparently she and Shadow were attending lessons on the ARK. Less “yay white girl got shot again!!!!!1 wow so cool so sad this is proof sonic is actually Serious″ and more “you used to run down these slopes, remember?”, you know what I mean? I beg everyone, please see Maria as a character and not just as Shadow’s fridged girl.

On one hand, I know this is all just a big publicity stunt for the movie, and we don’t even know how faithful it’s going to be (leaving Gerald alive in the present is... a choice), so it might just be a one time thing. On the other, it’s undeniable that the most vocal part of the fandom nowadays is the one who looks back fondly to SA2 and its “peak writing” - in quotes not to mock it, but because it’s clear that what they mean is just the general dark serious “vibes”. There is the risk, then, that the 2020s will do to the 2000s what the 2010s did to the 1990s, except that now people will be happy because we didn’t learn a thing and those fans won’t admit they just follow trends :)

AU where Franka doesn't get approval for the transfer and instead has to cut and run to Rhodes Island alone. Liskarm just misses finding out and isn't able to follow. and then they reunite some years down the line for whatever reason, Franka happy at Rhodes Island but still a little lonely and Liskarm saying she's fine but being at Blacksteel for so long has made her colder and harsher and just plain miserable.

(it isn't all bad, she at least has Jessica and Vanilla, but they can't get under her skin the way Franka could. Liskarm swears that Franka would get under skin sometimes just to dig out the bad feelings.)

UGGGGH I thought I would get used to Phone Guy being named fucking Ralph, but I just CAN'T!

Like, as soon as I think "hey I'm warming up to the name Ralph for Phone Guy". I remember that's THE CANON NAME for the character and I go into an unquienchable rage!

I don't even hate the name "Ralph", that's the name of my psychitrist. I just hate that it's the CANON NAME FOR THE CHARACTER.

You know, the character that was practically FOUNDED on fanon for almost a decade! The character that honestly would honestly be better WITHOUT canon material because of much the FAN COMMUNITY made with him?! THAT FUCKING CHARACTER!?

Like with Vanny, I didn't LIKE what canon did with the character but I could live with it because like, the fanon versions lasted only 1-2 years at most. Plus with the leaks, we practically KNEW that Vanessa and Vanny were the same person, like it was obvious.

But 10 YEARS! Sine the begginning. Without ANY REAL WARNING!? NOW YOU FINALLY GIVE US CANON MATERIAL? Bogus man!

This is the last time I'm going to talk about this, I don't like perpetuating the stereotype of Autistic people not being able to change, but these are my feelings.

You can't just have a character be around for 10 years and just NOW give us canon information.

He’s always caught off guard but loves it. Your bluntness is a breath of fresh air for Dick, who’s so used to diplomatic conversations. You say whatever’s on your mind with zero filter, and he’s like, “Oh, wow. Okay. I respect it.”

Hates it when you don’t hold back with him. He’s used to being the charming, funny guy who makes everyone laugh, but you hit him with a “That was dumb, don’t do that again” and his brain short circuits for a second. “You can’t just say that!” “Why not?”

Finds it hilarious when you wreck other people’s egos. You have zero time for anyone’s nonsense, and when someone messes up, you let them know. Dick’s in the background, trying not to laugh. “Do you not think before you speak?!…” He’s always acts so shocked but hey, he’s kinda enjoying it unless it’s aimed at him. (He can’t fight verbally for the life of him without saying some cringe shit)

Doesn’t even try to change you. Dick knows what he’s getting into, and he loves you for it. He’s never going to ask you to ‘tone it down.’ He actually finds your unapologetic attitude pretty hot.

He’s 50% worried you’ll get into trouble, 50% impressed. But in the end, he’ll always back you up, saying, “She’s just honest. Get used to it.”

Finally, someone who speaks his language. Jason lives for the fact that you don’t care what people think. He loves how blunt you are, especially when you cut through the BS with the precision of a sharp knife.

Gets protective when people try to push your boundaries. If someone dares disrespect you, Jason’s the first one to step in. “You’ve got a problem with her? You’ve got a problem with me.”, “Jason that was so fucking cringey..”

Appreciates that you don't sugarcoat things for him. You’ll tell him exactly how it is, whether it’s about his attitude or a bad decision he made, and he respects it, it’s like the tt sound where “that’s when it hit me, it was the best idea I ever had..” but like this: “Not gonna lie, that was a terrible plan, Jay,” and he’ll just nod. “Fair.”

You guys have the most chaotic, weirdest conversations. It’s a mix of witty banter, ridiculous one-liners, and deadpan sarcasm. Other people can’t even keep up with the energy.

The idea of dating a ‘good girl’ never appealed to him anyway. He thrives off your unhinged energy. You’re unpredictable, and it keeps him on his toes, which he loves. “Yeah, you’re definitely not boring.” (Although the thing is he does love innocent people, like if you’re like gen clueless he wants preserve your innocence.)

TIM DRAKE ── .✦

Tim’s brain can’t keep up with you. Your blunt, no-nonsense attitude constantly makes him blink in confusion. One minute you’re casually roasting someone, and the next, you’re giving a straight-up critique of his latest plan. He’s learning that he can’t outthink you.

He admires your unapologetic honesty. Tim has a lot of internalized doubts, so watching you casually reject anyone’s judgment is a nice contrast. You don’t apologize for your thoughts, and it’s something he secretly admires.

Constantly second-guesses himself around you. Your sharp tongue makes him want to be as confident as you. He gets nervous about saying anything that might sound soft, so when he stumbles, you’re like, “What was that? I swear you just whispered something.” And he��ll blush hard, muttering an apology.

You both have a sarcastic sense of humor that others don’t quite get. You say something outrageous, and Tim will respond with the driest remark possible. People in the room often wonder if you two are joking or just genuinely a bit rude.

Not scared to call him out. When Tim’s too nice, you’ll be like, “You need to stop letting people walk all over you. Grow some teeth.” Tim won’t admit it, but that does motivate him to be a little bolder.

DAMIAN WAYNE ── .✦

Damian is a bit taken aback at first. He’s used to people being respectful or like seeing him as kinda a role model, so when you come out with a “That’s dumb, don’t even talk to me right now,” he’s not sure how to handle it. He will stand there, blinking, while processing your bluntness. (He’s too stunned to speak 😞)

Genuinely respects your forthrightness, though. “I’ll admit, I have never met someone so… honest.” He starts respecting you even more, thinking you’re someone he can’t manipulate or charm easily.

Loves that you’re as stubborn as he is. If you’re determined about something, there’s no changing your mind. You’ll fight for your opinions even if it gets you into a heated debate. And Damian’s right there with you, arguing like it’s the most fun thing in the world.

Tries to match your bluntness. “You talk too much,” he says one day, and you immediately reply, “And yet, here you are, listening to every word I say.” Damian actually pauses for a second, impressed. “Right..”

Loves how you’ll shut down his critics with zero hesitation. Someone says something disrespectful to him, and you’ll be the first to shoot back, “He doesn’t need your advice, trust me.” He’ll give you a proud little smirk. “I like the way you handle things.”

At first, Bruce is a bit disconcerted by your bluntness. Bruce’s the kind of guy who expects people to be formal and classy, and you just come in with “This entire meeting is a waste of my time. I don’t care about any of this.” He blinks, then quietly admires your bravery.

Totally respects your unfiltered honesty. Bruce has had enough of the world’s games, so when you don’t bother to pretend or hold anything back, it’s like a breath of fresh air for him.

Secretly loves when you don’t play nice." He knows you're not afraid of saying what you think, and when you call him out on his brooding or overly protective behavior, he listens. “You’re right. I’m sorry for not trusting you more.” (He totally doesn’t have a tracker on your hair clip..🥰)

You both have moments of pure savage honesty that no one else gets. There’s no need for filters, and you’ll both exchange one-liners so dry that it leaves everyone else in the room confused.

Finds it endearing when you make his plans more interesting. “This is ridiculous. Why are we doing this again?” You snap at him in a room full of his board members, and he just gives you a look that says, “I’m never apologizing for you.”
