There's a lot to unpack so I'm gonna go part by part!

Because you said a color palette I'm kinda having the vibe that you want an icon? Normally pfp and icon tend to be synonyms but, at least here in my blog, they're two different things, pfp are just an image of the character with a themed mask while icons tend to have the color pallets and more themed like things, idk if I explain myself? You can search pfp/icon in the blog and you'll see the two categories differentiated by style, please send another ask saying if you meant icon or if you really meant pfp

1.Well it would mostly depend on what you request, but talking about the most predominant things I make (graphics, icons and frames) requests are easier and better if they give me a color palette, objects you want/don't want and a general theme

For example I remember when someone asked for no noise effect in their graphic and I tend to put noise effect in ALL my graphics, so little details like that do help me to provide the best result

This can apply to my other requests, for example if you want a blinkie you can ask for gradient, a specific image and so on, if you ask for a mask you can say if you don't want the transparent circle border I make and so on!

2.Sure! I don't have an anon list, well not yet, as I don't tend to come across anon claims, but I accept this kind of anons!

I'm happy that I've inspired you to try on and make your own blog! I get the feeling of being intimidated by the community, I have a style that's different to the average editing style and the fact that it feels like they all know each other and so on gives me the nerves and kinda make me feel alone ig? But after all creating these things is just a fun hobby, even if I'm alone in the community I'm happy, so you totally should do it! the biggest thing off the bat i'll say is i am really down for a lot of things, and a cohesive color palette matters more to me than the colors chosen if that makes sense! that being said here is a list of more specific things that make me go crazy when in a design:

id like for them to be cats but hybrids of another animal + cats are welcome as well as anthros (If thats allowed in the df), love wings horns fangs antlers really just have fun with it!

getting funky with the shapes overall

getting funky with the eye shape/pupils/lashes

freckles!!!! (ESP IF SPACE THEMED!)

natural and unnatural pelts are all cool! i love love love classic tabbies, and dilute calicos/torbies as well as pointed designs of any kind, and i ADORE symbolism in designs go buckwild

fantasy/unrealistic elements are so super welcome! slap some magic on that kitty or even some wings/other shit if youre feelin up to it

if you want to add names / genders / prns GET SILLY WITH IT i love neos i love funky genders that a max of 300 people know of i love silly crazy names as well as pretty names (for instance my warriorsona name is junipersong i love shit like that... song sweet flower are such good suffixes i will stand by that forever)

Personally I think Whisperwillow's/Kiwi-rot's designs are gorgeous but they've 100% become afflicted by the cs and popufur mindset. Mod, would you be wiling to do a breakdown on their design style?

So immediately we have a theme of light pastels with low contrast, black and white with small color pops (usually red) and webcore. We also have bodies that are largely triangular, with a small torso and wide set lower legs. This is pretty common in popfurs but I will say that diversifying the bodies you draw will vastly improve your work. Same with hairstyles and texture. Introducing curls and more unique styles beyond default long and short would really help this artist's work shine.

fine design overall, not the most unique but the anatomy is stylized nicely and the design is balanced well with the yellow star accents leading to the face and the smaller accessories clustering around the face as well.

As a personal note I would have dropped the chevron on the leg just because the clouds are enough detail already and you risk leading the eye astray with weird patterns that don't contribute to the theme.

I understand the aim of cyberpunk aesthetics is to be very colorful and eye-catching, but the markings are placed rather thoughtlessly and it feels cluttered. dropping either the leg chevrons or the stomach and thigh markings would help greatly with this issue. The arcade carpet pattern on the arms is cute, but it feels weird to have a design in a style as simple as this one have so many colors. I think that keeping to one rainbow pallette rather than having two of each color in varying intensities would really do you a favor.

This one is really nice tbh! It reads to me as early game concepting and the balance of the large curved horns, small frame, and the veil leading into the tail creates a really pleasing visual track to follow. The colors are cohesive and the yellow leading into the main color pop, the red, is really lovely and minimizes clutter while keeping the design impactful.

If there's one big thing I would criticize, it's the sizing and placement of the fur texturing. I talked about big medium small principles in another crit post, but essentially, all the tail fur spikes are about the same length and size, same with the hair chunks. It leads to a more static design and I think this artist could really be a great designer if they pushed harder for stronger and more conscious use of design principles.

Overall I like the designer and I'll be using some of what I found in their style in my own. I hope they keep drawing and improving in the direction that benefits them best without the stagnation that tends to come with adoptables.

Bank's tastes are fairly accurate. She likes funky music, I wouldn't necessarily say webcore, more in the lines of EDM and City Funk, and she's actually the one most into otacore! She also listens to indie music and bedroom pop, and some alt rock occasionally. Sad girl hours lmao

Boxxy most definitely listens to hard shit, but I think she's mostly into really hyper, really manic, really wack ass music, ESPECIALLY if that music is HARD on the bass. Intense bass is like ecstasy on her eardrums.

Yeah Allison listens to Studio Killers lmfao. She also would listen to stuff like hip hop and reggaetón, and on a completely different side, shit like horrorcore!

Leti is mostly into 90's alt rock and folk. She also frequently listens to classic Spanish tunes, but that's a thing her, Allison, and Ben share together.

Raina is a fucking punk and she listens to a lot of emo and punk classics. However, she's also really into hip hop and rap. As well as house music. And, being the gamer she is, she of course is massively into Video Game OSTs of all kinds. Also she's a piano player and loves classical pieces. She's a fucking paradox

Fumei's a hardcore rock and metal lover! In fact He, Ikute, and Shinda all are! Ikute is more of a bigger fan of Slipknot than Fumei is, but he still enjoys them. He's more into stuff like Metallica and Rob Zombie. And he also really likes classic rock, I'd say he's a bigger fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers than Ikute is lol. He also has a bit of flavoring in his tastes cause he's also really into ska and like, stoner surfer ass music, Sublime is def one of his fav groups.

I think Shinda does listen to Doja but I don't think she's much a listener of her genre. Like I said before, she's more about Rock and Metal. However, she's also really big on Video Game OSTs like Raina is. Mostly Sonic OSTs. She is a diehard Sonic fan lmao

Yume like indie stuff, she likes EDM but not as much as Ikute, and she likes J-pop and chiptune. Her taste is kind of similar to Bank so I won't repeat the same things, she's just into mostly sad/numbing music. She also loves certain game OSTs! She probably listens to the Silent Hill 3 soundtrack a lot.
