hey guys. did you know that pomni has 354 words of dialogue in the pilot, which makes up 14.38% of all words spoken in the episode (of which there are 2462 words in total)? her word count of 354 beats the average word count of all characters in the pilot (not counting the sun, who does not make any sound- kaufmo was counted, however, as he does vocalize) by 130.18 words, since the average word count for each character in the pilot is 223.82

the character who speaks the most in the pilot is caine, who has 710 spoken words of dialogue, making up 28.84% of all words in the pilot, and surpassing the average word count by 486.18 words

The character who speaks the least is kaufmo, who speaks 0 words (but he does make 9 noises, and with the word count including noises for the whole episode being 2543- making the total 81 'words' higher and changing every percentage- causes him to make up 0.35% of the words+sounds total in the episode, and puts him at 222.18 words+sounds below average)

aside from characters lacking speaking roles, the moon says 5 words, which is 0.20% of all words spoken in the episode and 2457 words below average

of the proper main cast, bubble and gangle speak the least, at 42 (1.71%) and 65 (2.64%) words respectively. bubble speaks 181.82 words less than the average and gangle speaks 158.82 words less than the average

I like the look and the feel of this method a lot.#In case anyone out there was wondering what the original doodle the Cowboy Wizard Jousting comic was - it was this!#I had indended it to stay a sketchbook doodle but I kept thinking about it - and figured 'why not also use it to do an art experiment?'#The funny thing about using existing characters for this is that this isn't even that far off from what they actually are.#The original pitch for the setting of FFS was 'Cowboy Exorcists'. Which sort of just makes them Cowboy Wizards in a way.#Design wise all I really did here was give them sillier hats.#Fitch isn't boy enough for the boy to be more than a carry over from 'cowboy'#But our Nameless Nobody? Yeah. They earned that Coward Badge good and true.#I have a few more doodles from this (AU? I guess?) That I may post if I'm low energy this week.#I missed drawing these little fellas. I've never been explicit about this because I'm a Fandom Old, and back in the day it was simply understood that anything on the Internet was fair game to do with what you wish, but: if you see a story of mine out there and you like it, download it. Fuck if I care. Keep it for yourself, distribute it to friends, print copies for yourself and your friends, mail it to people, I don't give a shit. As long as you're not exchanging money, I couldn't care less. And tbh you should be doing this with all fanfics you love - print them, save them, put them on a flash drive or a hard drive or share them with friends, whatever. Fanfic authors these days are really fucking precious about their fics, but honestly we're probably going to start seeing queer art being disappeared (especially in the US under the next president) so do whatever you can to archive the things you love to read. Even if that means just printing them out and sticking them in a binder for yourself to read as a bedtime story.
