Arrow Flashbacks: Season 1

Oliver Episode 1-6

Episode 1: Pilot

The Queen's Gambit, 5 years ago.

Robert Queen is watching the Radar on the ship, as a member of the crew comes inside, soaked from the outside storm. Then he says "the storm's a category 2. The captain's recommending we head back."

"All right, inform the crew." Robert responded as Oliver and Sara walked out of their room.

Oliver asks "Are we in trouble?"

"One of us is."

"Ollie? where do you keep the bottle opener on this thing?" Sara asked

"I'll be there in a minute Sara." Oliver responded as Sara walked back into the room.

"You know son, that is not going to finish well for either of them or you." Robert said as the Flashback faded back into the present where Oliver is fully dressed as he looks at a photo of him and his father.

Queen's Gambit, 5 years ago.

"It's getting closer." Sara says starting to freak out about the storm.

"That's not very scientific." Says Oliver

"And what would you know about science, Mr. Ivy League dropout?"

"I happen to know a lot about science" He defends

"I know about fermentation. I know biology." He kisses Sara

"Laurel's gonna kill me. Oh, she's so gonna kill me."

"Your sister will never know. Come here." He says getting on top of her on the bed.

She giggles until she hears another loud strike of thunder. "Ok that one was really close."

"Sara we're gonna be fine." He says as he kisses her and then the cabin flips, throwing them to opposite sides of the room.

Sara screams as she is pulled into the ocean.

"Sara?"

"Sara!"

Oliver keeps screaming for Sara while he's in the water.

And a crew member is yelling for Oliver.

Oliver swims to the lifeboat and climbs up. As the boat moves he yells "No! NO!"

As he tries to turn back his father stops him. "No! Dad, she's out there!"

"She's not there!" Robert argues

"Sara!" He yells as the yacht sinks

"She's gone."

Robert says "there's not enough left for all of us. Save your strength. You can survive this. Make it home, and make it better. Right my wrongs.

"But you've got to live through this first. Ollie, you hear me? You hear me son?"

"Just rest dad." Said Oliver as he couldn't keep his eyes open.

Robert grabs a gun out of his pocket and shoots Gus.

"Dad?!!" Oliver says, now jolted awake.

"Survive." Says Robert as he turns the gun on himself, shooting himself in the head.

"No!!!" Oliver screams.

Episode 2: Honor Thy Father

As he finishes burying his father's body in the rocks, he sees a book in his father's pocket, and he takes it. As he opens it, it has a design (the glades)

As Oliver placed the final rock on his father's grave, he was in a lot of pain as an arrow went through his shoulder.

He screams as he looks back to see a man in a hood aiming a bow and arrow at him.

Episode 3: Lone Gunman

Oliver wakes up in a cave next to the hooded man.

"Who are you, and why did you shoot me?" He asks

The man responds as he removes his hood "Bǎohù nǐ" (to protect you)

The man gives him herbs and drink. As Oliver takes the drink, the man pulls the arrow out of his shoulder, causing him to scream.

Oliver wakes up in the same cave, where he sees Yao Fei asleep.

He runs out of the cave passing many bushes, trees and branches on the way.

He coughs as he falls then continues running until he springs a trap where he ends up hanging in a tree by a net.

Yao Fei is standing outside of the net Oliver was caught in with a knife.

"傻子" (fool) he said as he walked to the other tree.

"這個地方太危險了，任何人都不能獨處" (this place is too dangerous for any one man to be alone)

Yao Fei cuts the rope "他們會殺了你" (they'll kill you.)

Oliver falls out of the trap and Yao Fei moves on, Oliver gets up and runs after him.

A group of armed men check the trap and see someone has escaped it.

Episode 4: An Innocent Man

Yao Fei comes into the cage carrying a woven cage with a bird in it.

"Shengcún." He says

"What am I supposed to do with that?"

"Shengcún!" he repeats as he walks.

"I don't speak Chinese!"

Oliver looks at his little picture of Laurel. "I'm so sorry Laurel.. So sorry."

Oliver looked over at Yao Fei, who was cooking. He hasn't eaten since the raft and was weak and beyond hungry.

"What is that?"

"It smells really good.. I'm so hungry."

Oliver tried touching the bird Yao Fei was cooking on a stick. But his hand was slapped away.

"Ow!"

"Fine... Don't share."

Yao Fei points at the other bird in the cage and says "Shengcún."

"𝐈'𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝."

"𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐜𝐮́𝐧"

The bird still in the woven cage was chirping.

"Please, I'm starving." Oliver begged

"I've never killed anything before."

As the hunger got the best of him, Oliver grabbed the bird from the cage.

He looked up, saying "I'm sorry." As he snapped it's neck.

Back in the cave with Yao Fei, Oliver is eating the bird he cooked.

"Shengcún."

"Yeah. Bird."

"Shengcún no mean bird." The man said.

"Shengcún mean survive."

"You speak english?" Oliver asked, baffled.

"If you want survive this place, bird not last thing you kill."

Yao Fei picked up Oliver's picture.

"And forget her. You look all day. You won't survive."

Episode 5: Damaged

𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐘𝐚𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐢 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐭.

Back on Lian Yu, Oliver is being led by two masked men, covered head to toe in black, as he's handcuffed.

He was shoved into a tent by one of the men, and then pushed into a post. The impact caused him to groan in pain.

There was a man seated at a desk in front of him, "Please, sit."

"You're making me feel rude."

He was gasping and struggling as he made his way over. He grunted as he took a seat.

"I do apologize for my men's treatment of you."

He opened a can, and began pouring it into a glass. He observed as Oliver's eyes were trained on it,

"They're trained to view any stranger as hostile."

Oliver could sense the fake friendliness as he said, "I'm Edward Fyers by the way."

"And you are?"

He was distracted for a second before responding and fixing his gaze. "I'm Oliver Queen."

"I was shipwrecked here. I don't... know for how long."

"My family has money. They have lots of money... You would be, very well compensated for my rescue."

"Well... I look forward to that, but for the moment, let's just talk." he responded

"About what?" He asked confused

"Well, for instance.."

He turned around to grab something.

He flipped over a photo as he spoke up. "This gentleman."

"Do you know him?"

Oliver's eyes trained on the photo, and a look of realization came across them. It was Yao Fei in some sort of uniform.

He shook his head, "No." he replied

"No?" he asked

"No. Who's he?"

Fyer's expression changed, now it was mean as he leaned back.

"You're a poor liar."

"I've been polite. I'll offer you one more chance before my manners leave me."

Oliver was a little nervous when he spoke.

"Hey, hey. I don't know this guy. I thought I was on this island all by myself." He claimed

"Do you know what this island is named?" Fyers asked

He shook his head no.

"We're on Lian Yu. Mandarin for Purgatory..."

"And I can make it feel like hell." He stood up.

"I don't know why you're protecting him." He was angry

"You're young, foolish."

"Perhaps you don't know why either."

"Think on that when you're begging for death."

As he turned around and walked off, there was a look of distress present on Oliver's face.

Oliver turned around as he left the tent, hearing him say, "He's yours now."

In came a heavily armored man wearing a half black and half orange mask. The only things you could see were the eyes.

Oliver was hung up by the wrists. The man in the half orange, half black stood behind Fyers as he spoke. "Where can I find the man in this picture."

Fyers turned his head, and tilted it in Oliver's direction. The man in the mask moved side of his shirt, slicing his abdomen with a blade.

He screamed in pain.

——

The masked man took a longer slice at the top of his chest, causing him to scream more.

——

Oliver was hanging up by his wrists, there was a fresh gash on his chest. Fyers came closer to him.

"Amazing. You have resolve I didn't credit you for." He said

Oliver glared at him with the use of his eyes.

He looked over to the masked assassin, before speaking again, "Or perhaps, he truly doesn't know anything."

He turned to leave, "We should put him out of his misery."

Something came in through the door curtain, knocking Fyers to the ground.

It was a hooded man, Yao Fei. He shot an arrow precisely through his zip cuffs. Oliver rolled to the ground.

Yao Fei shot another arrow for the masked man's face, but he caught it right before it hit him, and snapped it.

He pulled out a sword and went for a strike against the Archer. He blocked the sword with his bow. They traded 3 quick blows, before the masked man got hit in the knee with the bow, stumbling.

Yao Fei used his body against the masked man, as he was grabbed. Using it to roll him over onto the ground.

He avoided a sword strike.

They began a strain of close quarters combat. Yao Fei used his hands and elbows to block against punches and jabs.

He used his bow again as a feign, grabbed the masked man by the arm, but he escaped the hold, flipping over.

He went in for another quick shot, but it was defended against.

Yao Fei used his own legs to grab the other man by his, and flip him over. He jumped back up and smacked him in the head with his bow. The masked man landed to the ground, then the man in the green hood rushed over to Oliver. He shoved him out of the curtain door and they escaped before as the man got back to his feet.

Yao Fei helped Oliver into a dark cave area.

He was lain against a rock.

"I tell you, island dangerous, but you not tell them where to find me." Yao Fei said

"You stronger than I thought." he handed him the same bag he was holding before the flashback

"Take it, I hold them off. You stay."

Oliver looked weak.

"Remember, everything breathe."

He made his way to the exit and turned back to look at Oliver.

"You breathe, you survive here longer."

Oliver grunted as he tried to get up, "I'm coming with you."

A rock fell down and blocked the entrance.

Episode 6: Legacies

Oliver is laying in front of a dimly lit fire. It's flickering as he lay barely awake. He ripped a page out of the small book he pulled off of his father's body.

Suddenly, he was grabbed by the shoulder.

He gasped and quickly made it to his feet, scrambling to the other side of the cave.

"Dad?" He asked as he looked on in confusion

Oliver was in the cave, in front of him was his father... His dead father.

He looked on in hurt and confusion, "You died."

In a stern, angered tone, Robert spoke up, "I asked you. I begged you to survive!"

"But, if you don't think you can," he pulled a gun from his back pocket, showing it to Oliver.

"There's still one bullet left."

Oliver reached for it.

Robert somewhat grabbed for it, "But Oliver.."

"My death is made meaningless by yours."

Robert let go of the gun. Oliver took it and held it at his side.

"I'm starving."

"I'm gonna die anyway, and I just want it to be quick." He said in somber desperation.

"I just want it to be quick, like yours was."

"You can survive this." Robert said

"No, I can't. I'm not as strong as you think I am."

He pointed the gun at his head

"And I'm sorry."

He fired the gun.

There was the clicking of a gun, when it didn't go off... Oliver angrily threw it.

"Of course it doesn't work. I'm hallucinating." He was irritated

"Or.. I'm dreaming."

"But if you weren't.." Robert said

"You betrayed me Oliver."

"I died so you could live. And you threw that gift away."

"You made that sacrifice empty."

Oliver was tired, "I'm not you."

"I'm not."

"I'm not strong like you.."

"I never was."

"I told you, I'm not the man you think I am." Robert said as he turned around.

"The things.. I've done."

"What I was about to do.."

Oliver walked after him, "Dad...Dad?"

"What does that mean?"

"Please?"

"I don't know what that means." He said as Robert turned back around to face him.

"I told you." He pointed directly at his son.

"I begged you."

"Right my wrongs!" He raised his voice.

Oliver looked down,

"This is your responsibility now." Robert said

"How?" Oliver asked

"How do I do this?"

A smile of utter exhaustion crossed his face, "I can't even get off this island."

He walked to Oliver and placed his hands on his shoulders, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you the truth about me."

"But I hope...you know that I love you."

Oliver woke back up in the cave, next to his fire. He was panting as he came back to, and out of his dream.

He breathed heavy as he looked at the dying fire. Then he scooted himself closer to it.

He ripped a page out of his father's book, and as he was about to put it in the fire, he held it above for a few moments, and suddenly words appeared over the page.

He looked at it in shock, and opened the little book back up. He opened it and held it above the fire.

More words appeared. His list of names. Oliver read it, "My responsibility."

"I promise, dad."

"I promise." He said again with even more determination than the first.

Jin Guangyao: All his mother ever wanted was for him to be in his rightful place by his father's side. Everything he's ever done, it's just to keep himself and the memory of his mother alive. He's honouring her, honouring her memory. If his father orders him to do something awful, then how can he say no, and disrespect his mother's memory? And if his father continues to disrespect his mother's memory... how can he be allowed to live?

Xie Wang: He was rescued from the streets, raised up from nothing. How can he not give his yifu everything he asks for? Do everything his yifu asks him to do? Become everything his yifu wants him to become? Yifu is the only one who loves him. Yifu is the only one who cares for him. Yifu is the only one he loves. Yifu... yifu doesn't care about him at all.

Prince Yu: You could be the emperor, they told him. Of all your brothers, you're the most like your father, they told him. All you have to do is play the game and wait for it to be your turn, they told him. He played the game, and he played it well, and it was finally his turn. He was finally chosen. Except, he wasn't. He was a front, allowing his pathetic younger brother to steal what was rightfully his out from under his nose. You have one last chance, they tell him. And what other choice does he have?

Shulin: His mother (the one who raised him) told him that she found him, abandoned. Asked him if he wanted to know where he came from. He was just a child. Of course he wanted to know where he came from. And then his home, his people (the ones who raised him) were destroyed. Destroyed by his mother (the one who swapped him for another child, the one who left him to die). Of course he wants his birth mother, his birth people to suffer the same fate as the only people who ever really cared about him. It's a kinder death than they deserve.

Xiao Yu: He is not his father's favourite son. Everybody knows that. As a child, he had liked to think he could compete, but he should have known better. Even with Chuhe gone, even as the only possible candidate, the title of crown prince is still not his. What's worse, though, is that he is not his mother's favourite son, either. She sits and she sighs about some other child that he has never met, as if he isn't right here, not loved by either of them. No matter. He'll use whoever he has to to get the power he deserves.

Ye Zun: He is nothing, he knows. You have no power, they jeer as they spit at him and beat him. His master laughs at his downturned head, taunts him with the knowledge that his own brother sold him to his life of misery. He has never had power… until he does. And once he’s found his strength… why would he give it up? Why wouldn’t he make them pay?

Shen Jiu: He was plucked out of a ditch as a child, with nothing. No food, no home, no parents. Only an older brother, and for years it’s enough. Then, not even that. Later there's power and prestige, but alongside it hatred, mockery. And then he dies, unmourned, unnoticed, unloved. Even his so-called older brother doesn’t notice. This is a secret he has always known - the only way that the story can end happily is without him.

Runyu: He has been pushed to the side in favour of his brother, but he can’t hate him. He is the only one who has stood by him. If that means stepping into the shadows as he strides into the light… well, it is no hardship. Until he meets her. His future wife, their fates intertwined since birth. The one shining promise that has kept him warm through the tormented millennia. And so, for the first time in his existence, he chooses to be selfish. Is that so wrong?

𝑺𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝟏 𝑬𝒑𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒅𝒆 𝟑: 𝑳𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝑮𝒖𝒏𝒎𝒂𝒏 (𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝟐)

Behind him a man says "Well.. If it isn't Oliver Queen."

He forced a smile as he turned around saying "hey Max, how've you been?"

"Happy you drowned."

Oliver was taken to the back where he was Punched down by Max. Tommy came barging in for Oliver's rescue.

"Let him go!"

"I said let him go!"

"Told you he was gonna be pissed."

"Go away Merlyn, this doesn't concern you." Says Max

"If you want to get to him you're gonna have to go through me." Says Tommy

"And... I think they're gonna."

Tommy and Oliver start punching out Max's men until they are outnumbered.

Laurel comes in quickly punching him from behind and throwing him into his men.

"You done now, or do you want to see a real party?" Laurel asks

He looks up at her and says "Consider yourselves banned for life!"

"Hm. Don't care, we're not exactly missing much here." She snarks

"Yeah! What she said, You club sucks!"

"Are you guys okay?"

"So.. Where did you learn to do that?" Oliver asks impressed

"My dad's a cop. So he made me take self defense." She says

While it was partially true, there was more to that story. One she wasn't planning on sharing with anyone, especially those two.

*Flashback*

Laurel still young, around the age of 6 was seen fighting an unknown woman with a stick.

"You've improved with your training, little one. But not enough yet." The woman said as she unarmed her

Laurel looked discouraged.

"Listen, believe it or not, you've come pretty far."

"But you still need more practice. I'm used to all of this, been doing it for over 20 years."

"You're still new, and these things take time."

"Thank you." Laurel says

"Would you like to try again?"

"Yes please."

Laurel was jolted out of her thoughts when Oliver started speaking "Laurel, what Thea said-"

"Really Oliver, it's fine. And I'd rather not talk about it right now, or.. With you." Laurel says with a sigh as she walks away.

*Flashback*

Oliver wakes up in the same cave, where he sees Yao Fei asleep.

He runs out of the cave passing many bushes, trees and branches on the way.

He coughs as he falls then continues running until he springs a trap where he ends up hanging in a tree by a net.

Diggle takes Oliver and Tommy to Big Belly Burger "How about you two take a seat and I'll grab some burgers and ice for your faces."

"That girl is pretty cute." Tommy says looking at Carly

"That girl is my sister-in-law." Diggle says protectively.

"Who I will never speak to... Or look at... Ever." Tommy says

"Uh.. I'm gonna grab a booth!"

Oliver walks up to Diggle "She's not wearing a wedding ring.. Brother out of the picture?"

"Yeah, something like that." He says as Oliver walks back with Tommy

"Hey you." Dig says as he walks over to Carly.

"It's so sweet of you to adopt those white boys. They need a good role model." Carly says

"That's my client, Oliver Queen." Dig says as Oliver grunts in pain as he takes a seat

"Looks like you're doing a bang up job of protecting him."

Over at the table, Tommy brings up Laurel. "Look...about Laurel."

"I was gonna tell you...it just. I wanted to.."

"Look Tommy, it's okay. Laurel and I happened a long time ago.. Besides I was dead.." Oliver says

"It was still wrong, you're my friend. And me being with Laurel was against about 50 different friendship principles." Tommy says

"Thank you, but like I said, it's okay." Oliver says

Back with Diggle and Carly she asks "How dangerous is this gig anyway?"

"It's a cakewalk, don't worry. " he says

"Too late. I already lost your brother to this job."

"And I can't forget that." She says with a sigh

Back at the table Oliver gets a call as Tommy says "you're being really chill about this."

"Hello." He says as he answers

"Хорошо, подожди один момент." (Okay, wait a moment.)

"It's a.." He smiles

"A Russian model calling me."

"Can I have a minute please?"

"Now I can see why you were able to be so chill." Tommy says, getting up from the table.

"So I checked out?" Oliver asks

"You did. Name is Floyd Lawton. I have the address, where he stayed last in Starling city." Says Alexi.

"Let's hope he's a creature of habit." Oliver says

"Go." He says

"1700 Broadway, Pappas Motel, Room 52."

"And you'll leave us out of this? Assuming he doesn't kill you first."

Oliver hangs up the phone.

Lawton is typing on a laptop.

The hood is waiting outside his door.

Lawton senses someone there, seconds before an arrow goes through his door.

Lawton begins heavily firing at the hood.

The hood is able to shoot two more arrows as Lawton reloads the gun on his wrist and shoots again.

An arrow goes through the mattress

As he fires again he runs and jumps out a window. As the Hood tries to chase after him, he loses him.

He hears sirens so he grabs his laptop and runs.

Oliver walks into the IT department and says "Felicity Smoak?"

She looks up at him. "I'm Oliver Queen."

"Yes, I know who you are." She starts

"Mr. Queen."

"Mr. Queen was my father." He says

"Right but he's dead. I mean- he drowned!"

"And you didn't."

"Which means you can come to the IT department and listen to me babble..."

Which will end!" She says

"In 3..2....1"

Oliver opens then closes his mouth before saying "I'm having issues with my computer and they told me to go see you."

"I was at my coffee shop.. Then I spilled a latte on it." He says

"Those are Bullet Holes." Felicity says Bluntly

"My coffee shop is in a bad neighborhood." He says

"Look... If you can salvage anything from it.. I'd really appreciate it."

Moira walks into Thea's room "Good, you're here."

"Yeah, I'm under house arrest." She says with a hint of sass

"Do you want to wear the Calvin Klein or the Zac Posen?"

"For dinner? I was just gonna wear my pajamas." Thea says

"No, Walter's stock auction."

"I think I'd rather be grounded."

"It's important that you come." Says Moira

"To who?"

"To me."

"Listen.. When you were 4 you brought a cat home." Moira starts

"It was a mean and filthy stray, but still you declared it would be coming to live with us."

"When your father got home from the office that day, he came in and saw what was going on.."

"He explained.. The cat was actually a tiger and that we needed to get it home. And you understood."

"Robert.. He was always so good at getting through to you, I was always so jealous of that." Moira sighs

"You never talk about him.. Dad." Thea says

"This is the first time you've talked about him in years"

"I think over the years.. You and I have gotten into some bad habits." Moira admits

"There's been a lot changing recently, and I think this can change too." Says Moira before walking away.

Back in Felicity's office "it looks like blueprints."

"Do you know of what?"

"The exchange building."

"What's that?" He asks

"It's where the auction for Unidac Industries is being held. Wasn't this supposed to be your laptop?" She asks

"Yeah."

"Look.. Whatever this Shakespearean family drama thing is, I don't wanna be involved."

"What?"

"Claudius, Gertrude.. Hamlet?"

"I never studied Shakespeare in the four schools I dropped out of. " he says

"Mr. Steele is trying to buy Unidac Industries, and you have a company laptop associated with one of the guys he's competing against." She says

"Floyd Lawton."

"No.. Warren Patel. Who's Floyd Lawton?"

"Apparently an Employee of Mr. Patel."

*Oliver's Voiceover*

The exchange building is surrounded by three towers with eyelines into the building. Lawton could get his kill shot from anywhere.

I can't cover the full area on my own. I'm gonna need some help.

The hood pops up outside of the police station as he sees Quentin and pins him against a squad car.

"You son of a bitch!"

"Quiet, detective."

"You've got some nerve trying this right outside the police station."

"Floyd Lawton, he's the one targeting the buyers." The hood says

"Interpol calls him Deadshot because he never misses. And you can look this up after I go."

"And stop chasing you?" Lance says sarcastically

"Warren Patel hired Lawton, I can't be sure who they're targeting, but there's a good chance it's all of the buyers." The hood says

"I can't protect them all in a space that big. I need your help."

"Professional help..?"

"Lawton laces his bullets with Curare. Tell your men to wear Kevlar."

"I'll tell them to shoot you." Quentin mutters.

The hood eases up and places the laptop on the hood of the car, and shoots an arrow to distract him.

At the Auction Walter walks in with Moira.

"It's quite a turn out." She says

"I see it as more of an opportunity." He says

"But regardless of the outcome, I'll still leave here the real winner. I already have the two most beautiful women here beside me."

"Two?" Moira asks, turning around to see Thea walking in, in a blue dress.

Thea hugs Walter "Thanks for coming Thea. It means a lot to your mother."

"And me."

A woman walks up to Walter "Mr. Steele, the auction opens in 5 minutes, make sure to place your bid by then."

"Thank you Gina."

He grabs a blue envelope from his pocket and looks at Moira and Thea "Shall we?"

They walk away and Lucas Hilton walks to Patel.

"Warren Patel, please come with me, sir."

As he walks away with him the police are confirming their stations.

"Unit One, All clear. Unit two, do you copy?" Quentin says

"We have Patel in Custody, but no sign of Lawton yet."

"Unit three?"

"Northwest Perimeter is all clear." Says a woman's voice over the radio.

"Unit 4?"

"Parking Structure is all clear."

"Unit 5, what's your status? " Lancer asks as the scene pans to Lawton taking place of an officer who is either dead or knocked out.

As he loads his gun Lawton responds on the walkie talkie "All Clear."

Laurel is walking by in the stairs at the courthouse when Tommy speaks up "Oh what a shock."

She looks over him slightly surprised.

"It's a Friday night, what are you doing here?"

"I'm an attorney and this is a courthouse, so I believe the correct answer is, my job."

"What's your excuse?" She asks him with a hint of attitude

"I wanted to talk to you about last night." Tommy says

"You mean how you and Oliver got your asses kicked, then I saved you?" She asks with a slight laugh.

"First of all. We shall never ever ever speak of that again!" Says Tommy as he stands up

"And I think we both know what I really meant."

"There's nothing else to say. It's all history." Laurel says as she turns around

"I spoke with Oliver." Tommy says

Laurel turns back to face him "He was surprisingly cool about it."

"He knew. I saw his face, and that is the expression of someone who knew long before anything was said."

"Why wouldn't he say anything."

"Maybe because he knows it's not really his business what we do."

"There's a silver lining though," Tommy says with a smile.

"Now that the full truth is out, don't you think there's a chance for us?"

Laurel looks at him with a slight sigh. "You said you didn't think I was a one girl type of guy, so let me prove you wrong."

"By dating me." She says

"By being better, being someone you want to be with." He says

"I'd definitely be interested in meeting that guy." She says

"Come on, let's get out of here. It's a Friday night." He says

She sighs and finally takes his arm. "Fine."

Back at Unidac Industries Oliver walks by Quentin "Well don't you scrub up nice?"

"Just here to support my family." Oliver says

"Me too.. God help me."

"Thank you." Oliver says as he walks away, causing Quentin to scoff.

"Dig, got your eyes open?" Oliver asks

"It's why I'm here. Other than answering patronizing questions."

"He's out of time.. If he's gonna do something, it will be before the auction." Oliver says aloud

"Sir?"

"I heard the story on the radio."

Walter walks over to Oliver as he sees him "Oliver, I'm so pleased you could make it."

"Walter, I think we should be careful, the police said some of the bidders on Unidac were murdered."

"My mother has already lost a husband.."

"If Moira shared your concern, I doubt she would've come with Thea." Walter says

Oliver walks away and over to his Mother.

"Hi."

"Oliver, what a wonderful surprise." Says Moira as Oliver signals Diggle over.

"I need you to get them out of here."

A red dot is seen on Walter as Deadshot lines up his shot. Quentin sees it, and as he takes the shot, Quentin pushes Walter down and out of the way, causing the bullet to hit a nearby server instead, and inciting panic.

Oliver looks to his mom and Thea "Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine, but what about Walter?" Moira asks

John is trying to lead them out as Oliver peers over and sees Quentin moving Walter to safety.

"Walter is safe."

"Sir, I need to get you out of here." Says Diggle

"Them first." Oliver says

As John gets them out Oliver begins running up the stairs.

"I'll find him ma'am."

As he runs up the stairs, he pulls a hood out of a trash can.

Lawton takes out another woman and then the hood uses a cable arrow to crash through the window.

As the Hood rolls through, Deadshot fires a barrage of bullets at him.

The hood shoots an arrow from behind a column and Deadshot shoots another barrage of fire.

As he shoots another arrow and takes cover, Lawton ceases fire, walking slowly and quietly.

As Lawton thinks he has the drop in him, the hood punches him from behind, knocking him to the ground.

The hood kicks at him and vaults over metal bars as he tries to fire another string of bullets at the vigilante.

The hood kicks him to the ground, breaking a table in half, before the ensue a trial of hand to hand combat.

The hood gets him pinned against a pillar, when Lawton also stabs him with something enough to cause pain and cease pressure.

Deadshot takes his bow and tosses it to the side.

As they tussle for a few more seconds, the hood grabs his bow and takes cover behind the pillar.

"Drop your guns." He says in his regular voice.

"I admire your work." Says Lawton enthusiastically

"Guess you won't be extending the professional courtesy."

"We're not in the same line of work. Yours is murder." Says the hood

"You've taken lives." Deadshot argues

"To protect others."

"You're only out for yourself."

Lawton scoffs and fires another barrage of bullets. The hood quickly fires an arrow. And hears it make contact as deadshot hits the floor with an arrow in his eye.

As the Hood checks the man who appears dead, he hears a loud gasping from behind which alerts him. Only to see Diggle who was shot in the collateral damage.

The Hood takes Diggle.

*Flashback*

Yao Fei is standing outside of the net Oliver was caught in with a knife.

"傻子" (fool) he said as he walked to the other tree.

"這個地方太危險了，任何人都不能獨處" (this place is too dangerous for any one man to be alone)

Yao Fei cuts the rope "他們會殺了你" (they'll kill you.)

Oliver falls out of the trap and Yao Fei moves on, Oliver gets up and runs after him.

A group of armed men check the trap and see someone has escaped it.

Oliver carried Diggle back to the lair.

He set him on a medical table, and mixed herbs from Lian Yu into a drink, giving it to Diggle.

As Diggle wakes up, he takes off his Hood and says "Hey"
