First time using Pose Mod, and what on earth did I run into... Is this particular hairstyle just not recolorable? I made sure the filename in OpenTexture matches the file in SreamingAssets, and that file is a PNG. I repeat the same line with alterating numbers because I just don't know how else to get this working. Video tutorials made this look easy.

since i’m too lazy to "code" to make a better oc, i just change her hair, persona and clothes. (not this time tho)

i don’t like the currents oc’s going around on tiktok, the dolly, unnatural face, their "childish” animations are just too odd and simply doesn’t fit the game aesthetic to me. i mean, of course you can make your oc to your liking, but something feels off every time i see one like i mentioned. and of course i find a lot of great oc’s as well.

(don’t take it personally, it is just my opinion. do whatever you want as long as you have fun, that’s all it matters.)

i think i will post more yansim content with pose mod and MAYBE, i will try to code to make a better oc.

For those who think we’re blindly hating on YandereDev

None of us wanted to hate YandereDev. None of the mods here came into Yandere Simulator saying “I’m going to hate this AND it’s developer.” As far as I know, all the mods were avid YanSim fans and played it regularly! I remember playing it with my friend and having such a good time.  Obviously people are allowed to play it and have fun, because that’s what it is. It’s fun.

None of us expected to learn this information about YandereDev. About his past, about his personality, about his downright odd behavior. Most of us also didn’t believe it at first and went on our merry way, but after some careful thought about it and research, we realized our favorite developer wasn’t the man he presented himself as.

“It was in his past,” “stop digging for dirt that isn’t there,” “why are you trying to ruin him,” are all things we hear almost daily. None of these things are true.

 “It was in his past,” well, there’s also very recent evidence of this, and even if it was in his past no one is obligated to forgive him for this behavior, especially considering some of the things he’s said.

“Stop digging for dirt that isn’t there,” well, we aren’t. First of all, this is a submission based blog, so none of us are going around looking for shit on him. Second of all, the dirt is... very obviously there? If we can confirm he’s said X Y & Z, then there you go. If it’s obviously edited (i.e the edited tweet that posed him saying “I don’t want f****ts in my game” and was debunked as fake) we’ll ignore it or look for a source. For the example I just mentioned, however, people believed it. I wonder why? Makes you think.

“Why are you trying to ruin him” is just a silly thing to say in general. People view us as ‘‘‘‘‘gremlins’‘‘‘‘ after his most recent Hate and Shame video, which has just become a buzzword and torn the community apart. Genuine criticism is now being thrown aside because “gremlins!” No one is trying to ruin him. Not us, not Sisefs, not any other crit who dares not agree with his methods. This 30 year old man does not need you to baby him and take responsibility for HIS actions. He can do that himself.

To those pointing at he “debunk” page, I ask you, what other developer has needed to make a page like this? What other developer has had to make SO many “clearing up misunderstandings” posts? Are there no red flags? Is there no self awareness?

“Gremlins” don’t exist. Criticism is allowed. Your developer isn’t a saint.
