You kissed the picture of a statue of Augustus Caesar in history textbook before drawing hearts over the pictures in a playful manner.

Which led to you ending up in Ancient Rome, in Augustus Caesar's reign.

And because of your strange clothes and frightened attitude, you were dragged to the emperor, accused of being an intruder.

The emperor spoke to you in Latin while you only stared at him in fear and confusion.

From your expressions and reactions, Octavian realized that you are harmless.

He ordered to have your things taken away, and for you to be taken and clothed in Roman clothes, as he decided to have you under his care until he understands who exactly are you.

No one has sparked his curiosity like you.

In less than two months you were taught Latin.

But through those two months, you also managed to build many friendships.

Even with the young daughter of the emperor, Julia, the eight-years-old child adores you.

But now, you are forced to stand in front of Augustus and speak to him in the language you were taught.

"I'm not from here." you admit.

"I have noticed the first time from your improper clothing, I wish to know everything about you."

"Even if what I'm going to tell you is considered madness?"

With a nod from him, you begin telling him everything about yourself, and how you found yourself in this timeline.

This was a huge mistake on your part, as this made the Roman emperor obsessed with you and knowing about the future.

Everything you needed, was granted.

Octavian would spend long hours with you in his chambers, discussing many different matters.

You have so much knowledge, something he respects in a person.

When in reality, the knowledge you got is only from three sources, books, school, and YouTube.

However, sometimes he feels like you act like a child who needs to be corrected.

"Do you have a husband in your timeline?"

One day while having a walk in the gardens Augustus inquires about your marital situation.

"Yes." you lie, feeling uncomfortable under his sharp gaze.

You are not naive to the way he is interested to you and the hints he gives here and there.

But you would rather have boundaries.

"I suppose he must miss you dearly, he is unfortunate in many ways."

"Unfortunate, how so?" you ask, curiosity peeking.

"His wife is going to marry the emperor of Rome."

Your heart beats raises in fear, as you try to move away, but Caesar grabs your left wrist to stop you.

"I'm married, this would be considered infidelity." you say with a disgusted tone at how he still chooses to pursue you.

"In this timeline, you are not married as your husband does simply not exist yet."

this percy and piper situationship is so funny lol. i feel like percy is willfully ignorant about a lot of things so when piper begins getting territorial she may be like huh wonder she's in a mood and go back to dueling with jason. piper would def call her like a whore or something but like no one in camp would agree with her. piper and octavian are shittalkers fr.

like i don't think it would register to percy that this random piper girl is into a boy she just met or that there is a problem with percy and jason's friendship.

also like i lowkey do want to see percy and jason butt heads more. just like with earlier scenes with thalia, jason is also the one of the very few demigods that are able to even compete with percy. like we obvi knows who wins, but their almost-battles have sm tension!!

i also think piper would have a insecurity complex against percy bc she beats the whole pretty feminine girly that's evil and weak trope. like piper's quirky haircut and natural beauty can't compare to percy's effortless bombshell looks (like come on, girl's a victoria secret angel). percy's waters trumps charmspeak anyday and even her mom likes percy waaay more. also, like piper is not very nice and rude a lot of the time but percy is kind, sarcastic, and adorable. percy's also the pretty but doesn't know/acknowledge it which i'm sure infuriates piper bc it's her thing. percy's more well-loved, experienced, and like the greatest swordsmen of her time so piper can't just fight for victory or intimidate her either.

in all, piper can't compete. she also can't do much to percy either except being a bitch. (i also loved ur characterization of drew in the essie book and i'm looking forward to meeting her in act 4).

percy would totally be like "omg what's her damage" every time piper acts cuckoo, but eventually she'd start to see the red flags due to her experience with.... you know.... her yanderes.

THANKFULLY, piper's not god-level crazy like her yanderes, but percy would genuinely start to worry about jason because of her own experience which is why i don't think i can go with the percy vs jason butting heads route 😔

but yes ur definitely right about insecurity piper will feel. if percy was a dude, piper wouldn't care much about him at all because jason's cooler to her, but piper's internalized misogyny is gonna get triggered so bad since percy's a girl in my fic 😭😭😭

Im Sloppy (you can literally just call me that) and I write fan-fiction about a myriad of different things

A bit about me is that I’m a proud lesbian and listen to many manyyy different bands but especially MCR- I get very fixated on things and just can’t crank out enough writing since I’m so spastic, but that’s why I’m making this blog! To get me on track :)

I also watch tv (ofc) and have loved American Horror Story for the longest time and am so into Buffy The Vampire Slayer

I’m also a bit of a gamer (lol) and I’ve especially fixated on Hades (so excited for the second), I’m Stuck In A Yandere Visual Novel, Honkai Star Rail, and Minecraft. I’m pretty active on Itch.io in general, checking out new games from indie devs :)

•After The Battle; a fic on Octavian/Dakota from Heros Of Olympus written in a style based off of Song Of Achilles

•Prince of Cats, Duke of Birds; a fic on Tybalt/Mercutio from Romeo and Juliet (og Shakespeare) with the occasional Shakespearean accent

Im working on:

• A spin on Carmilla (1872), based around a character study on Carmilla/Laura which will be focusing more on their relationship- this idea is a bit loose since I eventually want to stray from the original plot to make it more explicitly lesbian and not like it was written by a man in 1872

• A fic in the world of I’m Stuck In a Yandere Visual Novel- I’m chipping away at the concept on this and getting my outline done. I’m really excited for this one personally since I’m not having to read through books to make sure I’m true to the characters and can instead just play the game again :)! It’s also a bit of a passion project of mine. Also, with the way I’m writing this, you don’t have to have played the game to understand the novel so if you’re into Yandere or Yandere/Yandere type stuff you should totally stay tuned

The honest answer would be I used to read a lot and now don't. Last months have been hectic and I mostly read stuff for work 😔.

My favourite sort-of-dark romance is Lily of the Nile (there are 3 books in total) by Stephanie Dray. I am total Octavian simp so this was delicious to read (he's a villain in this one).

I love historical settings but most aren't dark romance 😭. I did read few amazing mangas (and manhwas?) like Crazy girl Shin Bia that are historical with toxic males haha. Another one I liked where one of the guys goes total yandere is Stepping on Roses.

Red River and Reimei no Arcana also come to my mind but I'm not sure would I constitute that romance as dark. More like...people considered that shit normal back then 😅.

Yandere Octavian x Jason?

(I had to look up what yandere meant, so hopefully google gave me a decent answer. Sorry if it’s not right.) 

Ok, so, little Octavian was actually kinda nice? 

A bit of a goody-two-shoes 

But nice 

And he was really, really close with Jason and Reyna 

Now, slightly off-topic, but I can see Reyna as being either aroace or demi 

And at around 12 or 13, she’s beginning to figure this out 

So, she talks to Octavian and Jason about it? 

And it’s the first time the three of them really talk about sexuality and stuff 

And it proves to be really beneficial for all of them 

It’s not long after that that Jason starts thinking about relationships 

Because, well, talking with Reyna’s got him interested 

Especially in working out his own sexuality 

(I really like the idea of Jason being pan) 

And Octavian goes 

We could try it, if you want 

So Jason figures why not 

To be honest 

Nothing changes all that much 

They’re, like, 13 

They act as though they’re friends, but they sometimes hold hands 

And at the most, kisses on the cheek 

And they keep this up for a while 

They’re still dating at 15 

It’s kept pretty quiet 

Not many people know 

But they’re happy 

And then something 

Just flips 

Instead of supporting Jason’s duty as Praetor 

Octavian becomes bitter 

And Jason doesn’t really know why? 

There was no warning for it 

And that was only the start 

He went from being kind and caring 

To cruel and ruthless 

And Jason can’t talk to him 

Because when he tries 

Octavian will brush it off 

And after the Hera incident? 

And Jason’s returned to Camp Jupiter 

And, sure, things with Reyna are a little strained

1) In regards to the Dead Dove tag, how much gore will there be?

Personally, I’m perfectly fine with the psychological triggers you mentioned, but for some reason blood and intestines makes me squeamish. Will there be a lot of in your face gore in your tic?

2) How much canon divergence can we expect, from canon compliant to mostly canon compliant, to full on divergence? And can we please have that in tag form on ao3?

3) Percy will be keeping the Achilles curse right? Because I feel like she will 100% die without it.

4) In regards to timeline, first ragnarok then Hoo right? How are you planning on implementing ragnarok when it’s not finished in canon?

I’m so scared about this one because I really really like the Einherjar, ESPECIALLY Adam and Sasaki. I’m so scared for them!!!!

5) Will the pjoverse be given some well deserved revenge? Because you mentioned that Percy will be brought back to Valhalla after HOO, which feels like: “Hurry up and save our world!” Then “Now that the world is saved we don’t need you anymore. Whether you’re killed, graped we don’t give a shit.”

6) I know that in Arc 4 ror!gods react to pjo!verse, but will there be a pjo!gods react to ror!gods?

All I know is the pjo!Hera and pjo!Dionysus/Bacchus may not be alive past arc 4…

7) What will ror!Apollo’s reaction be to his technical children? Had it been Kayla or Will that got sent to Valhalla instead of Percy, what would he have done? What would his reaction be to pjo!Apollo’s punishment in ToA?

8) Will there be other pjo characters that are (forcibly) moved from the pjo verse to ror verse?

Percy’s gonna need some form of emotional support.

With the empathy link between Grover and Percy, Poseidon will not allow Grover to die, even if he hates his existence, so him and maybe Juniper move to Valhalla?

A possible non-consensual mass adoption of the Camp Half-Blood children? I don’t know what Hermes ‘ reaction will be, Aphrodite would be disgusted by half-lings and Athena just straight up wouldn’t care… But as Halfs their ascension is guaranteed to succeed.

Hazel and Nico will most definitely be adopted, and maybe the Ares and Apollo cabin as well…

the dead dove tag isn't just for gore. it's basically a warning to take the other warning tags seriously. for example, i tagged it as incest. if you see incest + dead dove, that means the incest won't be subtle or implied, it's right in your face and in detail. the same goes for any warning tag that's also tagged with dead dove

i'll be planning to change A LOT of what happens during the ragnarok fights. i didn't realize i forgot to tag 'canon divergence' tho whoops

apollo is one of the kinder yanderes, so he would accept the kids and naturally come to care for them after some time. as for the punishment, he'd think pjo!zeus was foolish. pjo!apollo was punished he encouraged octavian and "revealed the prophecy too soon" and thus "sped up the war". the first one was dumb, yeah, but the second isn't pjo!apollo's fault. he was MEANT to reveal the prophecy soon, that's how fate works! everything is already preordained by the fates, if the war was going to happen, it would happen. apollo wasn't at fault and i think a lot of ror!gods would agree with that
