Mipha vs Revali using their divine beasts (BOTW) (Both romantic)

I'm honestly really excited for this one. My favorite champions.

Sure! I never actually finished BOTW but I do know the story. I wasn't sure what you meant by using their Divine Beasts... so I assumed you meant when they possess and pilot them. I apologize if something is wrong, like I said, I never got far in BOTW.

Pairing: Romantic - Rivalry

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Manipulation, Slight stalking, Overprotective behavior, Jealousy, Attempted isolation/abduction, Dubious relationship(s).

Revali picking people to rival against isn't new.

Although, picking Mipha of all people is certainly a strange pick....

Mipha is introverted and reserved, although is considered rather courageous.

She tries to assist her allies in whatever way she can, including using her healing abilities to close wounds.

She's always been a kind soul... perhaps even a romantic one.

Revali is quite the opposite.

He's arrogant and sardonic, boastful and loud about his abilities...

He hates admitting defeat and is envious of those around him, especially fellow Champions.

Although... It's said this is due to insecurity.

He may be smug... but he's vulnerable behind his barriers.

Now, the complicated thing about this request is how they know you.

The one thing that comes to mind is you befriending Link after he wakes up from his century long slumber.

Since then you have been helping him regain control of the Divine Beasts, or something similar to that.

This scenario would make you meet the Champions as spirits as you interact with their Beasts alongside Link.

Another variation of this, even if it makes less sense story-wise... You could have known the Champions when they were alive yet were sealed away for a century for one reason or another. Or maybe you're a Zora and have an extended lifespan.

It would certainly make you close with Mipha.

This leads you to travel with Link... and once again meet the Champions as spirits.

Like I said, I'm assuming since you said 'using their divine beasts', I'm guessing they're spirits.

Which means, you're going to spend a lot of time with Vah Ruta and Vah Medoh.

Maybe even after they're freed from Blight control.

After all, the spirits who pilot them would like to see you more.

Mipha, if she hasn't met you before, is curious about Link's new companion.

By the time Vah Ruta is freed by you and Link, you get to meet Mipha's spirit.

If she hasn't met you, she wants to be introduced to you.

However, if you're a Zora or somehow knew her a century ago... Mipha's brought to tears when she sees you again.

Before she went to pilot her beast, she's been close to you.

Link was her first love... but upon seeing his connection with Zelda, she turned to you.

Perhaps you've always been close to Link, Zora or not...

Mipha's happy Link has brought you back to her.

Mipha may even shyly ask if you can visit Vah Ruta often.

She knows you must help Link, in fact she encourages it.

But she wants her love to keep her company until the time to remove the Calamity arrives.

Then there's Vah Medoh, where you meet/reunite with Revali's spirit.

Revali, regardless of if you met him before or not, seems a bit antagonistic.

He doesn't particularly like that you're companions with Link.

Even less so if he's met you before and fallen for you.

Of course after he dies you go to his rival, it irritates him.

Revali is an easily jealous bird, even in spirit.

He knows it must be a pain to get to Vah Medoh... but still insists Link helps you visit from time to time until it's time to remove Calamity.

Your time visiting the Champions is... melancholic.

Since you care for them, or at least wish to honor their requests, you visit them in their beasts.

Link helps, although both Champions usually ask for privacy so they can speak with you.

When you sit on their respective beast and chat with them, the Champions retain their usual persona.

Mipha wants you to tell her all about your journey with Link.

She asks how you both are and often asks how your injuries are if you've received any.

She's attentive, even when dead...

She may be a spirit, but her love for you is as strong as ever.

Revali also asks about Link and anyone you've talked to, but it's less about being concerned for your well being.

It's more like Revali is trying to gauge if anyone else has your heart.

Even as a spirit, he's only ever vulnerable around you.

What's the point in hiding it?

No one else will hear since he's connected to Vah Medoh.

Both spirits want to be affectionate with their love... even if they can't properly feel them.

However, to go along with the idea of them using their beasts...

What if they interact with you through them?

Mipha and Revali can use all the mechanisms in their beasts.

Maybe they lock you away to a certain part of their beast, away from Link, so they can properly chat with you?

You and Link are the only company they've had in a century.

If they're obsessed with you... makes sense that they would want to keep you for extended periods.

Now, in terms of rivalry, I imagine it would occur when you mention spending time with the other Champion.

Mipha appears both intrigued and disheartened when you discuss things between you and Revali.

Revali also seems irritated when you mention Mipha, appearing to dislike you being so close to the Zora.

I assume you meant them fighting with each other using their beast... which while I can see some conflict, especially on Revali's part...

I think they know better than to attack one another while Calamity is still a threat.

Revali is definitely the instigator since I feel he gets so easily jealous.

I imagine Vah Ruta isn't as well equipped to move all the way to Vah Medoh anyways.

She wouldn't want to cause problems anyways.

Mipha loves you... but she won't go fight Revali over you.

Revali may be able to pilot Vah Medoh to hover over Vah Ruta though.

Which causes issues for both you and Link.

I imagine once the two beasts are near one another, both spirits can interact.

Which leads to you sitting through some arguments as Revali appears to be upset you're not spending enough time with him.

Meanwhile Mipha is trying to be reasonable, all while trying to get Revali back to his place.

Eventually he will once Calamity is brought up, but it does show he's quite desperate to keep your attention.

Another thing I thought of these two doing is essentially holding you hostage on their respective beast.

Which usually leads to Link trying to calm the two Champions.

If we are to assume Link summons their spirits when he calls upon them, then there's some conflict that could happen.

For example, summoning one spirit on the other's beast.

Which usually frustrates the other Champion.

Having two spirits obsess over you is bad enough...

But spirits in what amounts to war mechs? Worse.

For the most part both know not to fight over you using said beasts.

Yet when summoned for aid, they no doubt have some arguments.

Again... Revali is upset because Mipha liked Link at one point... so why can't he have you?

Link usually also ends up being antagonized since he gets more time with you.

Overall, the rivalry is mostly tame even if Revali starts fights...

Better hope they stay on track, however, the last thing you need is them using the beasts to fight one another while Ganon is still a threat.

Yandere Link x Reader x Yandere Mipha Headcanons

Virgin Link x Reader x Zelda love triangle - Obvious ship is obvious, has been done a thousand times before, we all know the dynamic

Chad Link x Reader x Mipha love triangle - Rarely if ever explored, has more room for interpretation, involves THE superior ship of all time

I think we all know which one is better. (/j because I love the Link and Zelda triangle too)

Pretty much every yandere LOZ writer that I've seen has agreed that BOTW Link and Zelda would not be able to work together. At least not when they first met each other. And I totally agree. They're forced to spend time together nearly 24/7 by King Rhoam, which means they're also forced to share you, and that'll create tension. But Link and Mipha? They would definitely have an alliance. 

Their alliance is based on two factors. One: They share the same goal of wanting to give you the best life possible. Zelda uses you more as a coping mechanism, and even though Link does that too, he's especially focused on making sure that you're safe. Mipha desires the same, as well as making you happy. 

Two: Although Mipha is obsessed with you and priortizes your needs over Link's, she still admires him as a person. She knows how useful he can be. Link respects her as well. Not quite as much, but just enough to accept her into your life and let her help give you everything you want. 

In result, these two work together scarily well, even better than Link ever would with Zelda. They never had past resentment towards each other, and unlike Zelda who can be strongly adamant, Mipha would let Link take the lead and make big decisions.

That... isn't always a good thing. Link is willing to do anything to protect you, even if it includes doing things that would make you hate him. Mipha is aware of this, but she thinks Link is more capable of ensuring your safety than she is, so she'll likely remain silent. But that also means that they have less disagreements, making their alliance even more powerful. 

If you allow them to, they'll spoil you rotten. Mipha uses her royalty riches to purchase anything your heart desires, and Zora's Dormain is basically your playground. You've got just as much power there as she does in some ways. Because of that, this is the place where they'll keep you. 

Link is also putting in work. He'll use his skills as an adventurer to do multiple things in your name, like bringing back rare items from his travels or cooking your favorite foods. If you ever begin a sentence with "I want" then expect Mipha to drop everything just to hear you out. She'll tell Link about it and he'll run off at the speed of light to get whatever it is that you requested. 

Outside of that, the time you spend together as a group is generally quiet. They're both introverted and they would rather watch you do your own thing instead of talking all the time. Just being in your presence is enough to give them peace of mind.

Fortunately, neither are the type of yandere to keep you locked up. Not with actual chains. (Unless they believe you're in severe danger, but something insane like the calamity would have to be going on for that to happen) Link still loves to explore and he would love it even more if he could take you along on the journey. Mipha wouldn't object to that as long as you liked the idea! However, they both know that Hyrule is littered with monsters, so they're not about to let you leave without one or both of them by your side. 

If you ever argue with one, the other will try to convince you to make up with them. You'd think they'd want to turn you against them so they can steal your love, and trust me-- it's crossed both of their minds before. But this alliance has worked really well in their favor and they don't want it to fall apart so easily. 

That's not to say their alliance is perfect. Jealousy still exists in both of them, even if it hasn't been acted upon yet. And like I mentioned earlier, Link is usually the one who makes the big decisions on how to handle you, meaning that their alliance has a power imbalance. 

Plus, Link is stuck guarding Zelda most of the time. Mipha is more than fine with taking care of you by herself, but Link hates the idea of being away for too long. He'll try to convince Zelda to spend more time at Zora's Dormain to avoid getting in trouble with King Rhoam, but he's willing to sneak off if he must. 

If you're accepting, then your future is already laid out for you. It would be extremely difficult for Link to abandon his position as Zelda's knight just so he can become a normal citizen again, even after the calamity is over with. So the easiest way to get around that would be to transfer him to the Zora army instead. Except there might be issues allowing a Hylian inside their guard which is currently composed entirely of Zora... Until Mipha takes the crown and makes some changes. 

Either way, you're going to marry Mipha and be introduced into the Zora monarchy. Congratulations, you're royalty now! You're going to marry Link as well, but not officially, since some people would see it as scandalous to be in a relationship with your knight at the same time as your wife. But neither Link nor Mipha care. They know what your true feelings are and that's all that matters to them. 

But what if you don't accept them? Because as much as they spoil you, they still restrain you. You can't go anywhere alone. You can't do anything that would risk your safety, whether it's monster hunting or just going down a long set of stairs. And they're always second guessing you, especially Mipha. "Are you sure you're alright? I saw you frown for a second. Yes, it was only for a second, but you do know how I worry..."

So even if you like being with them intially, it'll get old after a while. Mipha will notice your discomfort first. She'll adjust those restrictions ever-so-slightly to make you think things have changed, when they really haven't. If you must leave Zora's Dormain without her or Link, then let a guard accompany you. If you must continue associating with that friend of yours, then tell her and Link everything about your relationship. Tell them everything about all of your relationships. They'll find who's good and who's bad for you. (Don't be surprised if they think everyone is bad.)

Link, though... Once he hears about this, he immediately shuts it down. He doesn't trust anybody to protect you but himself. And he's seething at Mipha for being so irresponsible. She's supposed to look after you, not risk letting you escape. 

Just the way that he glares at her is a silent form of gaslighting. She truly isn't fit to take care of you on her own, is she? She's too soft. She needs Link. If it weren't for him, you would have already left her.  

And now that Link has doubts about her ability to keep an eye on you, he'll enforce the rules himself. Now you can't even walk around Zora's Dormain without him by your side- when he's gone, you just stay put with Mipha. Not allowed to do anything until he returns. If you resist, he'll only make your life harder.

But you aren't totally screwed. There is one way to make their alliance fall apart: make them doubt each other. Link already doesn't trust Mipha enough anymore, so you need to manipulate Mipha into turning against Link. Usually that's impossible, but now that her confidence is low, you can appeal to her sympathetic side. Make her feel guilty for letting Link do whatever he wants to you. In this state, it won't take long before she cracks. 

Your best bet would be to trick her into thinking you want to run away together from Link. Actually taking her with you isn't an option. The Zora will go into a frenzy when their beloved princess disappears and if they find you, they'll likely blame you for convincing her to run away. 

Mipha wouldn't want to leave at first. She'd be too anxious about the consequences, knowing that she would have to abandon her father and brother. Knowing that Link would stop at nothing to take you back. She's just so obsessed with you though and she couldn't fathom the idea of you seriously tricking her. Besides, you only want to leave so you can be happy together, right?

She thought so. She really, truly believed so. But you went missing the moment she turned away to pack her stuff. Then... There was no other choice but to tell Link the truth. Because it's Mipha and she's simply not the type to lie, even if it might hurt her.

In this case, though? It isn't even a "might." Link had gotten used to being assured of your safety (or used to being in control of you) that it freaks him out once he hears you're gone. His immediate thought was to go find you, but his second is that how could he have ever trusted someone like her to protect you? He leaps to anger. He draws his sword. 

I can't say for certain what happens next. He knows how much trouble he'll get in for harming her, but in that moment, it wouldn't cross his mind. She probably wouldn't fight back much since she respects him so highly and feels awful for allowing you to take advantage of her. 

...If Mipha dies, the Zora will never forgive you. They'll be more pissed at Link obviously, but they'll blame you for indirectly causing this to happen. The whole LOZ fandom would never forgive you because we all love Mipha. I would never forgive you because I am the ultra #1 Mipha enjoyer. You might be able to live a content life if you can ignore the hatred and hide away, but just know that Link won't be the only one tracking you down. You'll be on the run for the rest of your life.

Could you do Yandere BOTW Champions or TOTK Sages x Reader who has the Mask from Majora’s Mask? The reader is Hylian. But they have the usual four mask, Plus the Fierce Deity mask.

This is a mostly Linked Universe Blog, but sure! I'm not overly well versed on the whole Mask deal, so please bare with me.

I went with the BOTW Champions, since not everyone knows the sages.

Champion of the Masks

���❥・So, if you know the Champions, there's a good chance you are a knight or warrior in your own right.

・❥・You are someone powerful, probably because of said masks. For Hylia's sake, you have the Fierce Deity looking over you. You are practically untouchable.

・❥・And the other Champions are well aware of this fact. But that doesn't change anything.

・❥・Because you are still so vulnerable. What happens when you're separated from your masks? Then what? Hm? You are just so vulnerable, can't you see that?

・❥・You don't have any powers of the wind, not any form of protection. You can't control any elements, nor can you heal. You certainly don't have any part of the triforce. You are powerless.

・❥・Which is why they needed to be there to protect you!

・❥・Now, Revali. My loveable douche-bird. He tries to keep you at a distance, but still falls. And he falls hard. Revali is the only champion who wasn't born with his gift. He had to build Revali's gale into what it was from scratch.

・❥・Reader probably recognizes all of his hard work, because (and this is from my very limited research) to get all of the Masks in their possession? A bitch and a half. They weren't gifted these masks. Not without a price. So they can recognize a situation where you are pitted against these...demi-gods eons beyond your own abilities and forced to catch up or fall behind.

・❥・And Revali absolutely cherishes this. Having someone not look down on him, but instead stand on the very same footing he was? Man's is down bad.

・❥・He is particularly fond of your Breman Mask because you just look so pretty in feathers. And while yes, white looked nice on you, blue looked better.

・❥・I HC that every race has their own form of courting rituals, Rito included. They probably make their intended betrothed some sort of snow-quill headpiece meant for the cold, lined with their feathers and intricate braids of fine silks and expensive ribbons.

・❥・You just know that Revali, as a champion, would make a nice courting present. And you just know he is purposefully difficult and makes everyone else come to him in the Rito village (He is their best warrior and is shown to lead their army in AoC). You just know that he demands the princess bring her two best knights, which begrudgingly means Link, but it also means you. You who wears the snowquill bit with pride-- even if you don't know what if means really.

・❥・It doesn't matter because the others do.

・❥・The next one to fall is Urbosa.

・❥・She falls after seeing you in battle. The Gerudo, regardless of gender, can respect a Warrior when they see one. And you are a warrior. You with your sharp wit and insane reaction times, parrying a blade aimed for her.

・❥・Your strength alone makes her swoon because out of everything she can respect that.

・❥・Her favorite mask of yours is the Garo's mask. Not only does it fool these supposed Garo (You are so smart, did you know that? With all of your stories and journeys.), but it also fools the Yiga. The Mask of Truth does as well, but the thought of spilling her guts to you makes her uneasy.

・❥・Not because she doesn't want you to know how constantly you're running through her head, but she doesn't want you to know how deep these thoughts delve.

・❥・When you're able to fool the Yiga and get back to her about an ambush planned on her people, she knows you're the one.

・❥・I like to imagine the Gerudo focus more on jewelry for a courting action. Not rings, no. But intricate pieces of armor lined with gems aimed to aid in battles.

・❥・Brigandines lined with topaz; Gorgets lined with opals; spaulders ordained in rubies; Poleyn decorated in sapphires. Even your own Scmitar enhanced by diamonds. All of it custom made to you to show her devotion to you.

・❥・Now, with this being all useful items you can wear in battle, you're seen in it often.

・❥・Daruk is next. He falls for you after seeing you in his, coincidentally, favorite mask. You tell the tale of the Goron Mask after he asks, weaving this intricate legend that had him hanging onto every word.

・❥・The Gorons show their love through food. So Daruk makes it a point to constantly share his food, both sedimentary and otherwise. He loves knowing that you are well fed and cared for because of him.

・❥・I feel like the highest form of love that can be shown through food for a Goron is a Prime Rock Roast. And while he knows Hylian's can't eat rocks (Link excluded because...it's Link), he looks for the next best thing.

・❥・Intricate pasties filled with only the finest of whipped cream and dusted with powdered sugar; dripping roasts just oozing juice that practically fall of the bone; grilled fish where the smell alone is enough to make you sallivate

・❥・All of it are gifted to you to ensure you think of him whenever you feel hungry. That he is your go to.

・❥・Now, next is a tie between Link and Zelda.

・❥・Zelda probably falls first because she sees you interacting with the others and watches you. In fact, you watch her back. But the difference between you watching her and Link watching her, because her father has allowed you to take over for Link on the rare occasion, is that you give her space. You allow her to disappear into the divine beasts, waiting patiently for her to come to you.

・❥・You entertain her with stories upon stories.

・❥・You listen to her woes with a careful ear and offer your own advice.

・❥・You even braved her cooking.

・❥・She loves all of your masks and cherishes each story about them. But when you wear the Great Fairy Mask and let fairies tickle her cheeks?That's when she swoons the most.

・❥・Link falls during all the time he spends with you chasing after Zelda. You're able to hold your own, which is always appreciated, and you're okay with silence. Silence settles between you two often while waiting for Zelda and you don't push it.

・❥・And you don't look at him like he's anything other than a Hylian. Not the wielder of the sword that seals the darkness.

・❥・Not this random knight that was handed a legacy on a plate.

・❥・Not an annoyance that needed to be shook off,

・❥・He was just Link to you. And it made his heart sing.

・❥・Unfortunately, neither are quite in the position to court you. Not with Calamity on the horizon, nor with their standings in the royal council. And it tears them apart in the inside. Seeing you decked out in jewels with feathers woven into your hair, eating some of the finest things Hyrule has to offer, all of it makes them bitter and hungry. Hungry to show how you belong to them.

・❥・You get prefential treatment in the castle. The finest of rooms with the softest of sheets. Plump pillows and too many locks on the door to keep you right where she wants satin pajamas, all just for your enjoyment.

・❥・Or the best weapons and shields available to the royal guard. Bows re-strung just for you, or the lion's share of arrows provided. Want that Shield that Jimmy Whosit has? Give Link three minutes. No, there's no blood on the shield, what are you talking about? You must exhausted if you're seeing things, maybe you should just skip training all together?

・❥・It's all yours.

・❥・Now, the last person to fall, is Mipha. She's very hesitant to lend her heart out to you, but you know who isn't afraid of showing their emotions on their sleeves for everyone to see?

・❥・Sidon.

・❥・Sidon, in all his little fishy glory, loves you when you come around. when you dawn the Zora mask and swim with him. You play all the games that Mipha won't because they're 'too dangerous'. So when you come around he's ecstatic, dragging his sister down to see you alongside him.

・❥・Mipha tolerates you for the time being, probably still in love with a different knight, making him his own armor. But after she finishes it, it's no longer shaped to Link's form. No. Somewhere along the way it went from being formed to his broader shoulders to being shortened to your own narrower set. It no longer was long enough to fit his torso, instead fitted to your own.

・❥・Her heart had tainted her hands, making armor for you before she even knew what it all meant. The only reason the rest of her catches up is because she sees you with Sidon.

・❥・She watches you swim on you back, with Sidon clinging to your chest, laughter bubbling up from both of you.

・❥・And the last of them falls.

・❥・She aims to give you the armor after the fall of the calamity, but...I'm sure we all know how that'll play out...

・❥・Anyway, between them all, you get very little time to yourself. They are all constantly hovering over you.

・❥・You think you can get away with one of your masks?

・❥・Nice try.

・❥・Your precious Stone Mask? Gone. Confiscated under the order of Princess Zelda King Rhoam.

・❥・Think you can fight your way out?

・❥・Not even the Fierce Deity mask can save you from the champions, their Divine Beasts, and the Triforce of Wisdom and Courage, nor their wielders.

・❥・You wanna run and hide?

・❥・There is not a single inch of Hyrule that one of them doesn't know about.

・❥・You are well and truly trapped under their hold, just where they like you.

・❥・Trapped like a fucking bird in a cage while they fight amongst themselves to see who you stay with.

・❥・ Let's hope they decided quickly before the Calamity decides he's done being patient.

Chapter 2: Campfire cuddles

Link ran fast through the grass with the others chasing behind us. He had shifted me so he could carry me with both his arms, sheathing his sword on his back. With a grunt, he jumped down from a ledge and continued to jog.

“Link! Wait up!”

“You can't have her!” he yelled back.

I looked up at him in shock, not having heard his voice before. The woman he was shouting out said he only speaks around people he trusts. Does that mean that he thinks I'm his friend? Do I have friends? I could feel my ears flick up and down in excitement and I puffed my cheeks out trying to stop them. Link just poked one of my cheeks as he stopped behind a rock, panting.

“You should put me down, catch your breath!”

He just grunted and placed me down, still holding me close. The others ran past the rock he had hunkered behind as I pried myself from his arms. His eyes narrowed as he reached out to grab me again and I pushed his arm down with a smile.

“Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere! Get some rest, I'll go get your friends.”

His eyes widened as I stood up fully and stepped on top of the rock. I could hear him start to speak but stop himself as he looked up at me from where he had crouched down. My skirt of leaves gathered by the Koroks was slightly messed up from his grabbing so I re-adjusted them before jumping to grab their attention. The blonde woman ran over quickly and grabbed my hands.

“Are you ok? It's starting to get dark we should set up a camp before heading back to Hyrule Castle tomorrow. We can use this as an opportunity to get to know you better!”

She smiled at me and pulled me towards the others as they began to set up tents that they must have been carrying with them. Her grip on my hand was just as tight as Link’s as if she was scared id leave. Link grumbled under his breath as he set up a campfire. It wasn't long until they were done and sat around the campfire.

The women went around the fire introducing everyone. I could only smile to myself as everyone began talking. Friends, I have friends that look like me now. Zelda just showed me the strange device she had, showing me the “camera” on it. Eventually, everyone went silent as I fiddled with the device, looking through the various places captured within.

“So, Y/N, if it isn't rude to ask, what are you?” Daruk asked.

“We know that the Koroks said you were a forest spirit, but you look rather similar to Hylians, like Link and Zelda. We're just a tad confused about if you're a type of forest spirit or a Hylain raised by forest spirits.”

“Oh, it isn't rude don't worry. I'm... Not sure. I've never left the forest before now, Hestu usually told me stories of their travels but I've never left myself.”

“Oh, you poor thing! We must take you around Hyrule and show you how wonderful everything is!” Zelda exclaimed, hugging me tightly.

“Dont bother, Rito village will be so impressive she’ll never want to leave!” Revali spoke confidently.

I just smiled and laughed. Daruk soon began laughing as well.

“You say that but the hot springs have a great power! I never want to leave them when I go!” He laughed.

The others began laughing as well, and I felt Link’s hand grab one of my fingers. I looked over at him and he rubbed his thumb over the back of my hand. His eyes never left our stare until he faltered and glared at Zelda who was still hugging me. A strange feeling of dread settled in as the others grew silent and looked around. I was unsure what had alarmed them but I felt the wariness that sat heavy among the group. A strange red slip of paper landed on my lap and just stared at it, confused. It felt like someone was breathing against my neck.

“Hm, intresting, so the Princess has recruited another. I wonder what’s so special about her? What do you say, do we tell Astor?”

“She doesn’t appear to be a threat Master, but he will be angry if we don’t notify him.”

“True, let’s go.”

The slip of paper disappeared along with the voices. I looked around in shock as the others seemed to relax, had they not heard those voices?

“We should get some rest, goodnight!” Zelda said, crawling into her tent.

One by one they disappeared into their tents and I sat on the grass watching the stars. I didn’t wish to intrude on their sleep, that would be so rude. Link shuffled out of his tent and motioned for me to join him. I shook my head, his tent look so small, there would be no space between us. He just sighed and sat beside me, pulling my head to his chest while rubbing my back.

“Link? What are you-“

“Shh, sleep. I’ll keep watch.”

I went to speak again but something about his warm chest and scent lulled me to sleep faster than I had ever experienced before. It was like I was being hypnotised.

They realise fast that they both like you and the intense rivalry of twin brothers begin. All for love, they further stray apart and whilst Michikatsu actually hates Yoriichi, Yoriichi starts to hate Michikatsu for trying to take away his love

Yoriichi and Michikatsu argue, and argue like badly, over you. These arguments are usually verbal but Michikatsu will eventually raise his katana as a empty threat towards his twin but Yoriichi won’t take that shit, he won’t back down

They both clung onto you and play tug of war with you to force you to spend time with them. No matter what you’re doing or where you are, the Tsugikuni Twins will find you and suggest you follow them, eventually getting into a fight with one another

Which twin will take rivals’ life? It’s clearly Michikatsu. Yoriichi may be rotten and cruel now, but he isn’t for taking lives in fear that it’ll make you terrified of him, whilst Michikatsu will drain people like packets for merely looking at you. He isn’t afraid to express his killer instincts

Yoriichi is very protective towards you. This world is just full of demons and the only beings he is willing to slay for your safety is those rotten demons. Even in public with humans, Yoriichi is watching you like a hawk

Michikatsu follows you everywhere you go, he must monitor you to quell himself. To control his anxiety, he learns about your routines and learns about every events you go so he can better. If he knows everything about you, he has more of a chance

Your demure, introverted nature is intriguing to them, that you’re gentle but prefer to stay in the back. You’re courageous when you need to be and that is absolutely beloved by the twins. They just love your personality, they can’t help themselves

Here goes a Reader which probably is the most soft but also strict one. A master with the trident! This is Mipha!Reader

Reader is the Champion of the Zoras and their beloved next ruler.

They have the gift of healing others and themself but also to heal the water.

They are 55 to 65 years old. Zoras age slower then Hylians.

What only very few know is that Reader has a beautiful singing voice and they use it to put Sidon to sleep.

They are a master with the trident.

They are not a ghost but a living version from Age of Calamity.

Reader almost could give Calamity the armour but they both were thrown into a portal.

They are a very fast swimmer compared to Wild when he wears the full Zora Armour set. They can also breath underwater.

They only have a hunch why Sidon reacted so sad as he had to leave.

They are the epitome of elegance.

They love their younger brother to bits and only wants the best for him. That's why they teached him how to swim a waterfall up and how to surf down.

Most of the Chain would be jealous probably as Reader loves Wild and Calamity.

They just see they same boy they fell in love with in both of them. These two fight like cats and dogs for their attention and affection.

Twilight wanted to help Wild but also fell in love.

Hyrule was just relieved to have another healer with them.

Funny enough Sidon, his father and Muzu are Yandere too! The older version of Sidon, obviously. Sidon lost his sibling and Muzu and Dorephan practically their child and now to have Reader stand there in the Zora Domain once again and looking around as so much changed? They don't want them to go like Sidon had to.

Sidon wants to say so many things to them and learn from them. Muzu cried as they stepped into the throne room at first and thought it was their spirit. It was very emotional as they bowed down to their father before being hugged by him and Muzu.

So those three are very overprotective over Reader and forbid them to go with the Chain.

How they met.

Reader's PoV:

I walked around as I finally managed it out of Lake Hylia and was looking for Link. We both fell into this portal but got separated as I landed alone in Lake Hylia. I was around the Zora Domain and got stared at. I was kinda freaked out because of it. It was my home or so I thought. I noticed that Ruta was on a mountain so if the people need protection I have to climb onto it. Maybe I should put Ruta somewhere else. I was on the main plaza and saw a statue of me. I was more than confused as this was me right know. I turned around and saw many Zoras looking at me with their eyes wide. I waved at the children with a smile and they began to laugh before they ran to me.

„Are you your Highness Reader?“

„Yes, I am sorry I really would like to talk to you little ones but I have to talk to my father.“ I apologized to the children who nodded and took my hand to guide me to the throne room.

I giggled and we stopped at the stairs that leaded to the throne room.

„Thank you, I really appreciate your assistance.“ I petted them before climbing the stairs carefully.

Everyone looked at me strangely here. Link was gone, even as he managed to become my appointed knight, however he managed to do that.

I could multiple men talking two of them were definitely Muzu and father but one sounded like the Sidon from the future. If I travelled through time then were was my future version? Did I really die? I only had suspicions but that would explain all the stares and the statue. I didn't notice that I stopped as I heard the voices. So I continued my way up.

„We are busy with a meeting please come back later.“ they only heard my steps as one of the men called me out but I didn't stop.

As I was in eye sight I could hear gasps and someone running at me. As I stopped I was relieved to see Link coming at me.

„Link. I'm so glad to see you. I was worried as we got separated.“ he only nodded but it didn't bother me he will speak to me on his own accord I know it.

I looked over him and saw injuries again which I began to heal immediately. „You never change do you. Always when you injured you come to me and I will heal you, do you understand?“

He blushed slightly but nodded. As I was finished I walked towards my father and future Sidon. Muzu began to cry!

„Muzu is everything alright?! Are you hurt?! Are you in pain?!“ I rushed towards him and fretted a bit. Which was kinda embarrassing as I completely lost my composure.

But he hugged me tightly and I hugged him back. I stroke his head and turned to my father and Sidon.

„Father, Sidon please tell me what happened to me? I've never seen Muzu cry like that before. Did... Did I die during the Calamity?“

„I'm sorry Reader. I couldn't tell you, it already broke me to part from you but then also tell you I never got my sibling seeing me growing up? It was to much.“ said Sidon and I nodded understandably.

„Don't worry Sidon. I understand but I'm sure that I saw you grow up and becoming the Zora you are know. Just not with a body.“ I separated from Muzu and hugged my younger brother. He even lifted me up and pressed me against him.

„It was nice seeing you but I think you know what I will going to say, aren't you?“

„You can't leave! Just stay here a little longer!!“

„But only for a bit. I have something at home and I want to get it... For someone.“ Sidon giggled and turned me around so I could see the men which were talking to father.

But I was left speechless, there were two Links and one of them was wearing the very armour I crafted. Sidon let me down and I stepped towards the two Links.

„You are Link.“ I looked at the Link who I got separated from and he nodded his head. „And you are also Link.“ I looked at the one in the armour and only then I noticed his scars on the side of his face! I immediately began to heal it as I saw some scratch marks on it. The Link began to giggle and just took my hand into his.

He smiled softly and I turned bright red. Then the other Link ripped my hand out of the grip of the other. He pushed me behind him which let me shriek and grip onto his shoulders for footing. Link growled at the other Link. I know he is protective over me but that is not like him.

„Link everything alright?“ I asked from behind him and he nodded before looking at the group of blonde men.

„Reader, you may come from another time. But I'm still your father, so you are forbidden to travel with these heroes of the past.“

„Father! But... But I have to go back! I'm still the Champion of the Zoras and Vah Ruta's pilot! Vah Ruta only listens to me. I have to go back! What is when something happens to Sidon! It will hurt this Sidon as well! My duty as a Zora Royal is to look after my people and our Domain but how can I do that if you don't let me!“

„Reader. You listen what I have to say. You will not go with these men, do you hear me?“

„You can't stop me!“ with that I dashed to the side and jumped into the water. And in mere seconds I was swimming the waterfall up. I already could hear many knights of the Zoras following me and the other Link too!

„I'm sorry father... But as the next ruler I have to decline your order. I will go back to my time... As I don't belong here...“ I ran away to were Vah Ruta was standing. It's hard to get into it as soon as I activate the defense mechanism of the beast. I only have to be faster. Good I always was the fastest Zora in water!

That's how they met and before you think. Mipha would definitely listen to her father if he orders her to stay. I know but I have to remind you. This isn't Mipha, that Mipha died because of the water blight, and Reader knows it. That's why they decline and run away. They know they don't belong in this time. They belong to Calamity's era and they have to go back there. That's why they disobey. Normally they would listen like the good child they are. But they know they don't belong there! Wild definitely will be with Calamity the first Yandere before the other even fell in love with Reader. Calamity almost lost them and Wild did lost them. Even Flora would try to convince Reader to stay! So she isn't alone, so she has at least one of her dead friends back in her life. So these two will be protective even if Reader can defend themself with their trident. They have to protect them! Wild and them are practically engaged and Calamity is their appointed knight! But Calamity now knows what Reader wanted to give and say to him. Well, Reader has now two fiancées theoretically speaking. But after the Chain fall in love one by one as Reader is like a rose. A delicate and beautiful flower but also has thorns to protect themself. Well, they all want to have a Zora armour gifted by them, even if Twilight and Time have one, they want one from Reader as it means that they are engaged and to be married. But it is hard as Reader, even if they care about the whole group, is already in love with Calamity and Wild. So they obviously give them more attention as they are in love and let me tell you, these two will not only be smug about that. Oh no, they basically show it off. Reader can talk about poetry with Warriors but as soon as they see Wild with injuries because his shield "broke" while shield surfing on Death Mountain. They rush towards him and begin to heal him. Or they listen to Sky as he explains how different the Zoras from his era look compared to them but as soon as Calamity comes to them and just wants to hug because of a "nightmare". They hug him close and cradle Calamity but still listening to Sky until Calamity whined then all their attention is on him. If the Chain boys have alone time with Reader there is a 95 % chance that Wild or Calamity or Wild AND Calamity will butt in with something. They do that to each other too. But the Chain knows they can't say anything to Reader as they have a bleeding heart and they would want them to get them mad because of it. They are their precious and darling sea rose after all.

Mipha reader is going to have a very interesting dynamic with the chain, because the zora are not going to let reader go if they have any say in it what so ever. only another portal from whoever is creating them is going to have any hope of getting them away. They lost you already so long ago - like hell is that happening again

I think AoC link could feel almost entitled to reader over the others, they're from his world, they made him the zora armour, it's only because of him that the rest even met you. seeing wild in the crafted set could make him a lot more possessive of you too, cause it's an immediate threat to his relationship with you

granted they could work together to keep you to themselves rather than sharing you with the rest of the chain, they're your two fiances and the rest of the chain could be gone for all they care

I think the pressure to have zora armour could damage the others relationship with them though, seeing as they have to use their own scales to make it which can't be pleasant really and if they're in the domain with their father, retainer and brother then no way in hell is that going to be made for even a single other link no matter how hard they push - and hopefully time doesn't bring up ruto

and with wild/cal stealing their attention whenever possible? no matter how much the chain love reader they aren't going to be getting their attention any time soon over the fiances <3

Like other Links in the past timelines, Link is also a quiet hero.

He most likely met you after his century long rest and resurrection.

If you think of what this Link has gone through... he's certainly been through a lot.

He's died trying to defend the kingdom, he wakes up to see all he cares about dead, he's alone as he tries to fix Hyrule.

Having a companion to help him along the way could potentially cause obsession.

He has no other companions when he first wakes up and begins to train.

Zelda is locked away to keep Ganon from growing in power.

The Champions have died with their spirits locked away in the Divine Beasts.

Sure, he gets companions and allies as he explores.

But his journey still feels rather lonely.

Not only that but he may not even remember them due to his memory loss.

You are the face that greets him when he manages to make it way into a village.

It's a surprise to see Link of all people 100 years after the battle.

However, you still make an effort to aid the hero.

Link notices the hope in your eyes as you offer him whatever supplies he may need.

You offer tools, scavenged weapons, food, water, whatever.

You even offer companionship.

Link naturally finds himself drawn to your helpful nature.

Your companionship touches his heart, friends are something Link needs during his journey.

You offer him a bed to rest and buy trinkets he finds to sell to you.

You help him find a good stable and horse to use on his travels.

The first village he visits, your village, he often revisits.

He hates that he doesn't remember much of anything.

All he knows is he has a purpose, even if his memories have been wiped away.

Part of him uses this to start new.

He allows you to be the first companion in his journey, one he can rely on as he grows stronger.

Link would still do what he's fated to do.

He'd challenge shrines to regain his strength.

Then he'd use such strength to aid Zora's Domain, Rito Village, Death Mountain, and Gerudo Valley.

Yet when it comes to rest, Link always treks back to your village on horse back.

It's like each day the knight of Princess Zelda comes back to you stronger.

He gives you a soft smile and holds out little things he's found for you.

You are too scared to leave your village most of the time due to Ganon's monsters.

So Link makes you feel like you're on this journey with him by gifting you treasures.

They're little gifts from him, it shows he cares.

Link's attachment to you grows as his journey continues.

He's silent, often speaking in actions more than words.

He's playful at times when he sees you again, encouraging you to hug him when he visits.

He takes you on horse back at times just to see things.

He promises to protect you outside of the village.

If any monster of malice threatens you, Link slays them with a blade and watches as the dark aura drains from them.

He apologizes with a hug that you nearly got hurt.

Truth is, he'd slay anything to protect you.

No matter how dirty the job is.

I feel Link trying to encourage romantic attraction between you would consist of gifts and physical affection.

He collects flowers on his journey to give you.

He collects shiny jewels for nothing but attention in return.

His hugs also appear to become longer the longer he's away.

Maybe he'll even sneak in a kiss on the cheek.

Before he lost his memories, Mipha and Zelda were potential partners he could choose.

But now... he only ever wants you.

In fact sometimes he wishes he didn't have to bear such responsibilities of piecing together Hyrule alone.

He just wants to settle down with you in your village.

He hates it when he has to part from you, especially for the final battle.

Even when he regains his memories, his thoughts of you stay rooted in his mind.

He no longer wants to be with Zelda romantically.

He's her knight, sure...

Yet he still wants you.

So when he comes back after saving Hyrule, why do you refuse him after everything?

You tell him he belongs with Zelda.

But he doesn't want that.

He wants you.

You seemed so susceptible to his affection before?

Every kiss, touch, hug, and gift....

Now... you won't embrace it.

You claim it was wrong to give into him, or that you never saw him in such a way.

Well... Link simply won't stand for that.

You've been a big help to him through his journey.

Even if you never physically came with, having somewhere to retreat to after battle felt fantastic with you.

Link isn't going to accept leaving you, he's tired of things never going his way.

So he decides he'll always stick by you, like it or not.

You can't get rid of him.

You can try to push, yell, and threaten him.

He doesn't listen.

He's fought off the evils of Hyrule just to be repaid with your affection.

He won't let you take that away from him now.

He's way stronger now and won't let you go.

You'll be safe with him... he promises to love you as repayment for helping him...

He's chosen to love you and no one else, even willing to even fight fate to stay beside you instead of anyone else.

Born of the Hylian race and always drawn to the water. It made you the perfect candidate to be the Hylian ambassador who worked with the Zora. You worked with them when Divine Beast Vah Ruta was pouring rain and flooding the domain. Now you work with Yona to take care of the Zora's due to the massive amounts of sludge suffocating the land and creatures.

You were one of the three Hylians that the Zora allowed to freely walk among them without special permission for each entry. You wished in these moments that it was more than three. Zelda was lost only the goddesses know where. Sage had lost his arm and now seemed to further distance himself from you. You, oh you, the Zora loved Yona but saw you as a stain upon them.

You weren't one of their own, a reincarnation of a goddess, or the hero fated to save Hyrule. You were simply a hylian that was appointed to their waters.

It kept you stuck, doing your best to find as many splash fruits as possible. You'd overwork yourself from dusk till dawn just to find some. You had to find them; it was the only way to gain even a smidgen of their approval. You even went into Lynel territory for them.

Prince Sidon wasn't the least bit pleased when he learned about your being so reckless. You were confined to your room and were only visited by guards and the prince. You recovered your physical health, but not your mental. You became addicted to his presence. He'd always give you the same comforting smile and soothing touch.

Sage was the same way when he finally made his way to you both. It was the first time you were able to leave your room in a handful of months. You practically collapsed into his arms. You didn't notice his stunned silence or the firey blush lighting up his hardened features, but Sidon did.

"Good friend, it's such a shame that Zelda is missing. However, it is good to see that you are no worse for wear. Except for that arm of yours—?" Sidon spoke in an elated tone, an undercurrent of a pleased growl bubbling up from his throat.

Sage did not answer after he explained his predicament. He stuck by the both of you like the sludge that coated Zora's Domain. He mostly communicated through Hylian sign. His Zonai arm, as you learned, was perfect for translating it into an audio version of what he was signing. It would occasionally glitch around the both of you, glowing bright and moving on its own to grasp either you or Sidon.

"My friend!" Sidon gasped as Link's Zonai arm caressed Sidon's midsection.

It was a common occurrence, and it was oddly cute.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.

Both of them were needed to save the domain, and you once again were shut out from the outside world. You didn't learn until after Sage and Sidon had defeated the beast within the Water Temple that Yona had been slain by the Sludge Like Like that had attacked near Mipha's statue.

The only oddity of it all is that Yona had the distinct slash of a Zora Longsword across her throat.

You were the only one that seemingly picked up on this detail. This was because Sidon wouldn't allow anyone to look at her dead body except for you or Sage. It was a question that still lingers in your mind, but you don't dare ask it. Sage didn't see anything wrong with it, and he is the hero. 

It was one shock after another.

You were wed to Sidon in the place of Yona, and Link was married to both of you. You had no time to protest. It was seemingly a decision that was controversial among the Zora. However, anyone who voiced their displeasure soon had their gills cut. It wasn't as if you were against it. Both were truly handsome. 

You worried about the differences between Zora and Hylian anatomy.

Both didn't seem to have a care in the world about the finer details. You lay in bed with both your husbands. You are all saddened to know that Link must go to continue his journey of defeating the Demon King. At least he has Sidon's avatar. Sidon is able to feel, see, and hear everything through it.

Only one phrase was left to be said.

"I love you both." You murmur through your sleepy daze.

Both of their hearts almost stopped. They stared at each other in surprise. The same thing was on both their minds.

You love them. They won you.

Mipha is so gentle and sweet you wouldnt have a single clue that she has yandere traits 

This girl will go out of her way to spend as much time with you as her favorite person, Mipha doesnt mind what the day might consist of rather she just wants to have the opportunity to hold you hand

Let her take you on walks through the mountains, picking the flowers that you pass and weaving you a flower crown to admire you in, relaxing at the near by ponds in lower humidity areas for you comfort 

God help those that have the audacity to flirt with you when shes right beside you, while Mipha wont say anything at that moment later in the day she'll definitely yell at them for their attempt to steal the princesses lover, lecturing with a new found wrath reflecting off her eyes 

Of course afterwords she goes back to being the relaxed and gentle soul you know her as. You dont need to know about how suddenly her behavior might flip

Let her cling to you and admire your differences in regards of both body and mind, tell her everything on your mind its quite obvious she wants to hear them all, lay down and let her bask in your voice please

My goodness, I have been reading all of your works! You have been keeping us readers well-fed. So let me leave this here. I may have gone a little overboard. My love for Hyrule may have gone a little overboard; I might be a little rabid 🤤🤩.

So quick warning this has yandere Hyrule, slight kidnapping?, baby trapping (no detailed descriptions), reader gets tricked majorly, fairy descriptions and habits, only Hyrule gets a happy ending

So this has a lot of yandere writing, right? So I’ve been thinking and reading through all of your works and saw the increase interest in Hyrule which got me wondering, since he is so sweet, what would a yandere Hyrule be like? Then it hit me, Hyrule is part fairy/can turn into a fairy and what do human legends say about the Fae? They are possessive. There’s changelings and making deals with fairies and all other lore. The yandere personality actually fits his persona like a glove if his fairy-ness is exaggerated.

That being said, none of the chain really know about his abilities and Fae-like characteristics so they think he is just a gentle boy. BUT oh how wrong they are. It’s a facade, one he wears constantly while scheming how to get reader out of the others grasp. Kinda like hummingbirds, so if you don’t know some hummingbirds fly with such a distinct bug like pattern that other birds (even some competitive hummingbird species don’t associate them with being a bird, but think they are a large bug). He doesn’t register as a threat since reader just thinks he’s cute, and he heals everyone. He’s the wolf in sheep’s clothing.

He uses his kind and gentle fascade to learn all of their tricks and weakness (Four can split and knows the Minish, Twilight can shift into a wolf, Legend and Koholint, Wind can see dead people, Time and Twilight’s relationship, Time and Navi, Sky being the one to set off the curse, Warriors and Cia’s obsession with him, Wild seeing the ghosts of the previous champions-specifically that Mipha can heal him and Daruk a can shield him)-he is the biggest threat. He does this while getting closer to reader, slowly closer and closer. Maybe he flaunts his fairy-ness drawing her attention again and again, becoming readers confidant when she expresses her discomfort with the rest of the chain. He takes this vulnerability as a sign. That it’s time for him to make his move. He shares with reader that he is part-Fae/turns into one, he also tells her about his blood curse, to help gain her trust.

After comforting her, he manages to arrange (read:manipulate) reader to make a deal with him (cause his fairy powers can help! At least that’s what he tells reader). Reader thinks that since Hyrule hasn’t told the rest of the chain that he has an edge over them and he has a chance to actually help her escape (GIRL you don’t even know what’s coming). That he will help her escape the chain. Reader is kinda naive and does not know that you should never make a deal with a fairy (demon). The deal works out for Hyrule because the deal was specifically worded to “save the reader from the obsession of the chain”. But he can work with this, since if he is the only Link, it doesn’t make up a chain, so he could just separate them from her and keep her as his own and keep the terms of the deal.

Hyrule is not only responsible for healing the injured with his magic, but he also manages all potions since he is the groups healers; he also liberates and convinces the bottled fairies to help him and not the others. So he waits for the perfect moment, the chain go into battle with a group of strong monsters, he and reader are in the sidelines. He incapacitates reader with a sleeping potion (something to keep her out of the chains immediate reach).

After the battle, each of the chain are injured, not seriously, but enough to need healing. Hyrule gives them potions that hurts them. It’s at this moment that Hyrule goes to take out Wild with his lightning spell before he tells the chain they were poisoned (because Mipha revived him from the poison). The others trusted him implicitly and ingested his potions;they now realize he is trying to kill him, they manage to knock him back and search for the bottles fairies only for them to back Hyrule (and his lovely reader). It’s at this point that Hyrule reveals his Fae form to the chain (he has his wings and his eyes look extremely unnerving) and the rest of the chain realize they’ve been tricked. Hyrule goes and picks up the sleeping reader and flys off with them (Hyrule is either regular sized or he shrinks reader) wearing a large smirk, he tells them “Did you expect anything less from a Fae protecting his goddess. She was, is, and will always be mine. You were too stupid to realize it the entire time that she was already mine.”. He leaves the chain struggling with their lives with the sounds of monster reinforcements coming.

Hyrule flys off to a Great Fairy fountain asking for their support, protection, and transport. The Great Fairy manages to transport them to another Hyrule, in case the others survive and try to find him and to protect reader from his blood curse. The move in location will make it hard (essentially impossible) to locate them safely. He doesn’t need any more danger in their lives. In this new Hyrule (kingdom), he locates another Great Fairy fountain and seeks her permission to build a home near the fountain, right outside of it because he intends to have the Great Fairy and all of his sisters watch over her (read: keep tabs on her). Reader still doesn’t realize Hyrule has tricked her yet, and since they are tucked away at the Fairy Fountain, Hyrule became the only person she knows (he never takes her to castle town by telling her that this Hyrule is extremely dangerous and they are safest at the fountain and why would she doubt him, the rest of the Chain said his Hyrule was the most dangerous and inhospitable, he would know best). At the fountain, Hyrule acts normal, since they are surrounded by the Great Fairy and sisters.

Hyrule begins to actively court her, since they only have each other and his sisters. He wants to build a family with her, and presents it as setting down roots. Reader has no one else, and is actively courted. They marry and reader gets pregnant soon after. He is absolutely thrilled and loves her so so so much! He always wanted to have a family, his Hyrule made it too dangerous, but here he could have kids! He reassures her that since they are in another Hyrule, there is no risk of the blood curse, since no one knows of it here, so there is no risk of danger to the babies. Reader would never tell anyone about it either since it places a target on her kids.

It is at this point, when reader wants to go to castle town to get some supplies for their baby that she realizes that Hyrule has tricked her. He offers to go for her, to keep her safe, but she wants to go herself (it can’t be that dangerous! She hasn’t seen anyone else in years!) he loses his composure and tells her no she needs to stay at home and that she will never leave, especially now that they’re expecting. Reader realizes she has effectively trapped herself around Fae that have control over her; she will never be free.

She decides to make the best of her situation (read: all hope of freedom is lost since she has kids and she wants to keep them safe). She stays at the fountain caring for her kids with Hyrule (there is no other adult to talk to). Little does she know that Hyrule also plans to establish their home as a new Great Fairy Fountain where they can live together forever…

Hundreds of years later, there is a legend that there is a Fairy fountain that is especially kind to Hylians. Travelers that venture to the fountain have mysteriously disappeared, never to return to castle town. However, there are sightings of the missing Hylians alongside some winged Hylians? But that’s just a rumor, right?

Turns out Hyrule’s kids take after him and his courting methods. A half-Fae family line has now been established and is flourishing.

Hyrule may not be the strongest fighter amongst the Chain, but he is the most cautious (thanks to his Hyrule), and has always known that those that play the long game tend to win more than the short sighted impetuous opponents. He may have lost hundreds of small battles (regarding readers firsts with the chain) but he has decimated the competition, got the girl and won the war. His legacy is a testament to this.

Hyrule being the secret villain in this all is just so delicious. This is a whole rhjrjrj I just can't get over the planning and the execution because, yeah, Hyrule's fairy side gives him that edge that no one, not even Sage, can have. They can have things that can possibly counteract it, but if they don't know about it, they how can they be expected to know how to defend against it?

And with Hyrule being the group's healer, he is in one of, if not the best, position to take them all out. One by one. Either by letting infection set in or using the injury to weaken the others before finishing them himself.

And who's going to look twice if the potion is just slightly discolored. It's what happens when their left sitting for two long. Their fine. Taking out Wild first, is so smart because realistically? (Using just the OG chain) is the more resilient to everything, especially poisons. You know how much shit he ate when he had no memories?

Hyrule would for sure take Reader to a Great Fairy. their loyalty lies with him more than anyone else. Including other Links.

And when they know he has his heart set on this person, they're locked in. The fairies have no grasp on normal Hylian courting rituals. Just on what Hyrule tells him. And Hyrule spins it. Exactly the way he wants it.

And when their swollen and pregnant and all his? He knows he's won.

And when his kids follow in his footsteps and establish a royal line? One that lerks in the shadows just enough to make their presence known, but not enough that anyone can pinpoint their location. And even if they did?

Who can really stand against the fae and fairy kind anyway?
