𓆝 Poly Platonic Yandere Wild & Twilight 𓆟
Two loyal friends—that's what you have always seen them as. It has never been anything more or anything less. You have always chosen to look the other way at their darker natures. They were simply protective. That's all.
They comfort you when you're sad.
Make sure you are taken to Hyrule when injured.
Wild always cooks for you, and the meals are mouth-wateringly delectable.
Twilight teaches you how to hunt, fish, and farm.
You help them in your own ways, a salve to their traumatic wounds.
It's perfect.
The bodies make stack up when you are not looking. Throats may be slit and partners threatened to fuck off before they end up the same way. But still, they keep their natures nuturingly passive around you.
"You're safe." Two words they both often say to you and each other.
"We'll protect you." Three words that both promise to you.
"Never will we separate." Four words they urge to end in an unspoken promise.
"You are our hero, darlin'." Five words, confirmation of your importance to them (and only them).
They ask for nothing more than your companionship. They just want a friend that is theirs and only theirs.

Alright alright- Bear with me here. Could I perhaps ask for a Yandere LU Chain, where Reader is like HUGE adventurer. Kinda like Wild in his game, exploring everywhere and stuff. But one day maybe Reader gets hurt on an adventure by a black-blooded creature, and the Chain is bit too late to save them. So Reader is like Twilight for a bit, although maybe they can also recover due to the Chain likely supporting them as much if not more than with Twilight. How would the Chain react to this afterwards? Would they be relieved, angry, or...? Both? Tbh I think overprotectiveness would just go brrrr after this-
Also, love love LOVE your writing! Seriously, HOW DO YOU DO THIS MAGIC? It's put together so well and istg i get goosebumps sometimes from this stuff.
Thank you!!!
Thank you very much for requesting, and I hope you enjoy this very late reply!
Notes aka author ramblings: Apollo slapped me in the face with random energy and motivation to write this, the inspiration came along the way and faded a bit more towards the end, so please take that into consideration 😭
Basically I wrote this on the span of 2-3 hours
What may look like a few plot holes was some ties I left untied on purpose because I felt like it'd probably sound too much like an info dump in the oneshot
But I have so many thoughts
And yes reader's codename is Stray
I hope I'm not rusty fr
TWs: Light yanderism, blood and wounds (not graphic), mentioned spiders, bullying, childhood trauma and exclusion.
Yandere! LU! Chain x Reader
Stray at heart, collared in body.

The world is big and full of stuff, and to say that you loved to explore it would be an understatement. Sometimes it felt like your biggest love was for adventuring, cause’ of course it was! How could anyone not love to find new places, objects, people— Even animals and magical creatures!
It was the type of subject that got you rambling and all excited.
Of course, you weren't exactly one of those pure born hyruleans, you weren't even from Hyrule, for starters, so you lacked the elegant pointy ears, and, well, the actual magic and luck that came with being one so close to Hylia as the race that descended from the Goddess herself.
That definitely hindered your explorations, leaving you bare handed when it came to healing and all things good and helpful for explorers like you. Still, none of that ever stopped you.
Actually, it was the thing that moved you to start in the first place, back when you were very young.
Back then, in the village you came from yet never considered home, the whole place felt filled to the brim with boredom-inducing stillness or so you remembered, and so your childish eyes told you — you felt like it wasn't worth staying there.
It was going to be still and empty of fun forever, you could never be happy staying locked down there when so many new and yet ancient things were waiting for you everywhere else!
Needless to say, your head was constantly in the clouds, though, maybe that was a good thing after a while. It certainly shielded you from feeling too lonely when you started to actually notice you were being excluded by the rest of the children.
The stares and quiet giggles weren't easy to bear, but you just learned to deal with them with time, keeping yourself focused on your future instead, the future you wanted to build far away from that place.
Of course, as you are now today, and after learning about and interacting with so many different cultures, learning what you could from their knowledge, some things stuck with you.
Like the knowledge that now you had, that the children weren't ever the ones at fault in the first place.
Their stares and giggles mainly mimicked, almost perfectly, the ones who teached them to act that way, their glares and mockery.
Sometimes you wondered how your own parents managed to cope with being badly spoken about in the mouths of other adults from that village, the ones who insisted in believing your restless adventurous spirit from such a young age could be nothing else but bad parenting or a curse to the family.
You used to believe it, wish it was real and you either were or had a curse. That would mean that you at least had a percentage of magic in your veins, even if it wasn't exactly the best type.
Because it turns out, you didn't fit in with the most of Hyrule, either. Your normalness kept them away just like your strangeness used to keep away those around you during your childhood.
In fact, that acquired you the nickname of “Stray”.
Stray. Stray because at heart, no matter the community you shoved your way into, you didn't truly belong anywhere. You belonged to the world around you, and nothing could force that out of you.
It was deeply etched into your very soul.
Or so they said.
Well, a group of people begged to differ.
You've heard of a “hero” and a “triangle trio” thing more than a few times already when you roamed the remaining villages of Hyrule, but the last thing you were expecting to find was nine heroes traveling together in a group.
However, none of them belonged here anymore, and so that spoke directly to your inner child, the one who was used to being the only one, always related to some synonym of lonely.
You were often called “Stray” by them rather than your own name, but you still wore the name with pride, because now you were in no way the only stray present anymore.
They were also the reason you stopped wishing for a curse of a magic of some kind. Because you were more than aware that then they'd also have to force you into an imprisonment of some kind.
Still, you already felt achieved.
Finally.
What else could you wish for? You were finally able to explore to your heart's content.
Though not without many worried glances and startled yells sent your way every time you got near anything that left you endangered in some way.
And the best part, you weren't shunned anymore.
At least not by them. Villager's still gave you uneasy and passive aggressive glances.
The one you were probably the closest to was the one named “Wild”, or so they called him — calling all of them “Link” wasn't ideal — after all, out of all of them, he was the one who was most in tune with you.
You were both from the same time period, which already differed from the others, but he wasn't able to fit in anymore due to his lack of ties to any community.
Of course, you were more than aware you still weren't the same. If he tried, he'd still be able to settle down anywhere he wanted, but he still had a job to do which rendered him unable to do so, therefore you made yourself believe you were still alike in some way.
It would hurt too much to not do so, your sanity was at sake here.
They made it so easy too. being all friendly and welcoming. You finally felt at home, in peace.
What else could you truly wish for?
Although, maybe singing victory and yapping about happiness wasn't the smartest idea when they were all in a dangerous mission. And you, of course, were involved.
You were all exploring — or rather, just walking through — a forest on the way to some village at the very ends of Hyrule.
The people of that village didn't travel much, but they had something your group wanted, therefore, your group had to go to them instead.
Being the dumbass, air head, you were, instead of walking in the middle of the moving crowd of fully capable heroes, you found yourself roaming the edges, gawking at whatever you could see yet not reach for past the edges of the path you were all following.
Time was keeping his eye on you — the only working one he had — the whole time, making sure you wouldn't wander off. You felt like a kid.
And just like a kid, the very moment he got distracted, killing a Skulltula, you wandered off.
However, turns out there wasn't just one spider.
The forest was infested, which definitely explained why the village folk were so against the idea of wandering too far past the starts of the foliage and the big thick bushes surrounding and protecting the narrow path you traveled by.
Didn't take too long for you to be found by something else rather than your friends, who by now, must have been definitely looking for you.
They never took long to notice your disappearances, the opposite actually, which used to annoy you a lot since Wild never had to face the same overprotectiveness. Not even Wind!
Now, your desire to prove them wrong brought you face to face with one of said spiders.
Maybe they weren't that wrong...?
And, just you luck! The thing undoubtedly had black blood.
Just like a kid, you failed to remember or acknowledge the fact your group just happened to be chased by those types of monsters earlier, some still following you.
It just slipped your mind, completely.
Just like you slipped on the mud on your way out of the trees and back to the narrow path where your friends’ yells and blurry faces were awaiting and rushing towards you worriedly.
When did it start raining enough to create mud?
The mud smelled metallic.
Your memory was blurry, the world itself felt blurry.
Still, you half remembered, like a far away memory, stumbling out of the thick bushes and into many arms, blood equally as thick dripping from a gash in your abdomen like a waterfall in a rainy — stormy, more like — day.
Then, like a blink, a very long blink, your consciousness was gone.
It took an overly long while for you to wake up. It felt like sleeping during a rainy night, you never wanted to wake up the morning after, and even if you felt like waking up was the best idea, your body refused to open it's eyes.
Only difference was that for you it felt like an overly long rainy night, and like you spent the following week still asleep.
At some point sleeping even became boring.
And you had 9 voices in your head telling you to wake up “please”, when they weren't chatting — worriedly, most of the time — amongst each other. Didn't sound like the usual, to be honest.
When you did come to it, it was in a slow, painful way.
Your head felt like someone banged their shield against it multiple times. If bone was able to bleed, your skull would have been bleeding.
Your eyes also felt tired, despite having just woken up from a long, restless and dreamless nap.
However, your throat felt surprisingly fine, and so did the rest of your body, though you felt numb and weak.
Instantly, your senses were crowded by familiar scents a bit too close to you.
Twilight's was the one which overwhelmed the others, and was paired with the feeling of fur and warmth, overwhelming warmth.
Your body definitely felt too hot. that much you could tell. Though the sight of the many blankets, coats and furs — one specific dark gray fur, actually — explained that, and also the weight on top of you.
With some strain and trembling limbs, you sat up. Instantly regretting it when the sleepy feeling which was still clouding your mind and leaving your movements sluggish got torn away from your body by the force of a sharp pain on your abdomen, strong enough to challenge the dull one still hammering inside your head.
You made a groan of pain and pushed the pile of warmth on top of you to the side, making it fall off the cot you were laying in, exposing the reason for your pain.
This triggered a gasp from somewhere near you. You didn't pay attention, too focused on the strange sight of a large bandaged wound on your belly.
“Stray! You're awake! You're finally awake...” The voice came from above, you could recognize the soft yet shaky tone of Hyrule.
Yet the body which wrapped around your shoulders carefully, and clearly as gently as possible, were definitely from Sky.
“We thought we wouldn't be able to…” Sky swallowed some of his shaky words, trying to spare you from listening to his rambling and sobbing at the same time.
Hyrule grabbed your hand on the bed, opposite to Sky's side.
“You're even worse than Twilight in the “no response to potions or enchantments” aspect…” He gave you a weak smile, now you could guess why it took you so long to wake up.
They had to resort to different methods to try and keep you alive.
You made a face and nodded slowly, also leaning a bit more into Sky now that you weren’t that surprised anymore.
It took less than about 2 minutes for the rest of the group to come back to see you, which was quite curious for you, considering there weren't any messages exchanged through anyone — Sky and Hyrule refused to leave your side, and nobody else was around — and they were all the way out of camp and into a village's market.
Guess you'd never know how they found out.
Your recovery took far longer to finish than Twilight's, considering you had no previous strength built against the black stuff, so you just spent your time sitting around or being carried.
The fact you were, in fact, able to walk, was just another reason for that extreme boredom.
And you weren't even carried to many places! Just around camp!
To say you were itching to touch the grass with your actual flesh and feel the thrill of seeing new things again would be an absolute misunderstanding.
And of course you wanted to bound to the first available place you could the very moment you were released from your inability to carry yourself around.
Did you, though? No, not really.
“I'm gonna check out that pond.” You yawned with serotonin coursing through your veins. The same restless feeling you always got when you saw the beach, despite having seen it many times.
It was around the fourth or fifth time you asked to go check out something. The answer was always the same.
This time you felt completely healed though, so you were hopeful!
“And get attacked by that bokoblin?” Legend crossed his arm with a deep frown, he was always frowning, but that frown just seemed more deeper than the others you've seen before.
“What bokoblin?” It confused you, the pond was absolutely empty when it came to any live beings, though maybe not if you counted the greenery and a few fish.
“There could be one. You didn't see the skulltula last time, did you?”
Well that made you frown. It hit you directly where it hurt.
And now you were unsure about venturing that way.
You nodded, slowly.
“I'll get Warriors to go with you, if you want, once he's back from the planning with Time and Twilight. For now, let's just do some crocheting?”
You always tried to convince him you could go alone.
This time, you voiced no opinion.

"Can't you stay on your fucking side?!"
Whoever thought this was a good idea needed to be thrown down a cliff. Or off a river. Which ever option gave them a more painful death, because this was painful. Pure agony.
Who's bright idea was it to stuff him in a room with the fucking Failure of a hero and the soldier with a stick so far up his ass he was flossing with splinters. Seriously. They could sleep outside like the dogs that they were, in his humble opinion.
The only good thing to come out of this was that he would get to sleep with his goddess. That wasn't new, per say, he had managed to convince them that he had needed you lest he do something dramatic. That wasn't a lie, not exactly, maybe just an exaggerated truth. Because he did need you. He needed you so badly. He needed to feel your plush skin against his and feel your chest rise and fall. Watch every breath you took.
That was just the way things were.
But he had no idea who these two fell into that equation.
"There are no sides, you feral primate."
If he wasn't in the presence of his Goddess, he would've thrown patchwork over there on his ass. Mark his words, he'd do it the first chance he got. That was a promise.
With a snarl, Sage raised a lip to bare his sharp canines, glowing down at Road rash. How he was ever allowed in your presence was beyond him, but you allowed it and he was not one to go against your word. Even if it ate away at him every second.
"You're right. Maybe you should just leave entirely. Take a long walk off a short cliff?" He offered, readjusting his hold on your hips. It was a bit of a feat, convincing you to let him in, using generous amounts of oil and extended periods of stretching to prep the virgin hole for him. But it was all worth it. It may not have compared to your dripping cunt, that was an entirely different feeling, euphoric in every way, but this had it's pros. This was untouched by anyone. And if it meant letting Knightly down there bust his load in the first two seconds to get him out of the way, then he was willing to put in the work.
Besides, it had gotten you to make an entirely new assortment of sounds that he loved hearing, feeling you clench in an entirely new way.
"Eat shit." Wild snarled back, threading his fingers into your hair. Your eyes, pleading and wide and wet with tears, looked up at him before falling downwards. Any noises you were capable of making were muffled as you masterfully swallowed around the cock in your mouth.
Sage gently brushed your hair back. "You're doing so well for me, sunshine." His eyes caught another pair, making him smirk cruelly. "Doing okay down there, prude?"
Below you was the newest addition, who didn't give an answer. He was too put together, with hair that was clean and trimmed and armor that shined almost as much as the Captain's, but he, in some capacity was them in a way. Which was probably the only reason Sage let either of them near what was his. Calamity, they had dubbed him, Cal for short, was beneath you, stuffed into your cunt as he suckled on your tit like a newborn babe. He seemed in pure bliss as his own eyes turned bloodshot, tears pearling in the corners of his eyes. Every move of Sage's hips that jostled you on Cal had the knight whimpering and crying out, curling in on himself and bringing you with him.
It was all a chain reaction.
Sage would thrust forward, fulfilling his own personal mission on carving his place in each and every one of your holes, and pushing you forward onto Wild's own cock. You would stutter, choke a bit before breathing through your nose as he pulled back just a bit. With the rock forward you would raise just the slightest off of Cal, making him gasp around whatever nipple has attention before Sage would pull you back onto his own, and consequently onto Cal. He would arch up into you, giving a particularly harsh suck and making you moan around Wild's cock.
It was all like clockwork.
And in a way, it was poetic. Every piece moving in sync to directly follow it's predecessor before flowing into the next. Like a well oiled machine, everything would click into place, complete the cycle, only to restart itself all over again and repeat the process.
His divinity was quite the sight to behold. Even as the smell of sex permeated the air and sweat dripped down the glorious curve of your back, he found himself licking his teeth, practically drooling above you. You were always a sight, even after he had thoroughly debauched your form. When your thighs were quivering, glistening in your own cum as he sat up from his feast. When you cried into the pillows and blankets as his hips crashed with yours. When you looked up at him through thick lashes, expression much to innocent for the sinful acts you would preform unto him. You were his favorite muse. His own little reward for the shit that good-for-nothing fake had him do.
And he would cherish you. Even when you insist he share and play nice with others.
With a grunt, he leaned down, tongue dragging alone your spine and up to one of your shoulder blades, coating the patch of skin he settled on in his own saliva before biting. Cooper flooded his sense, making him shudder as the consequences of his actions ricocheted around him. Your sudden gasp and orgasmic moan had Wild stilling, head falling back as his hips twitched. Cal stilled beneath you, arms snacking between Sage's own body and your own to pull you closer to him as he cried out around you.
But you, you were what made it so worth it. Your walls clenched and spasmed over and over again as your entire body shook. Your thighs tried clamping together to no avail as your back arched and quivered. Every part of you seemed to be in pure euphoria as pure lust drawled across your features.
He loved that look.
Letting a hand fall between your legs, he quickly used his middle and ring finger to press against your clit, making your twitches amplify before he was rubbing smooth circles into the nerves. Every roundabout had you crying a new sound as Wild pulled free. His hand quickly ran up and down his shaft as your head fell forward, noises no longer gagged by that good for nothing as they ran free in the air. Sage's hips never slowed, keeping their pace in time with his thrusts.
Your movements never stopped, even as Cal gathered his own bearings, shuffling his hips just the slightest. When he picked up a smooth tempo, you shattered.
And like a machine, it all feel into place. Your head fell back so you could look at Sage, drool shining your lips in a glorious gleam as nothing but pure, empty glee warped your features. The spasms around his cock never ceased before loosening just the slightest. A crash of something wet trailed down his thighs and painted Cal's own as burrowed as far as he could into your swollen cunt. The red lips were soon dripping a milky white as the knight's own whimpers were gagged around your breasts.
Streaks of white painted your cheeks and lips as Wild gently tilted your head back, thumb brushing against the curve of your jaw.
Sage's own hips stilled as deep as he could physically reach, pumping you full of everything he had to offer. Anything you wanted and it would be yours. You simply had to ask him.
A moment of silence fell over the trio, before Sage was grinning, unlatching from his place on your shoulder.
"Hope you two virgins aren't tapped out yet. I'm sure our goddess has a few more in her."

What do you think about the au humans are hylian space orcs?
Aaaa…hmmm
Ah yes I read that~
Four would be both bewildered and captivated by the fact that his best work can’t withstand Reader’s sheer strength. (Also most likely devastated that there is another person other than Wild who destroys weapons)
After watching them break or dent a weapon that took him days to make, he’s immediately on a mission to craft something that can keep up with them.
If given the opportunity, he’d spend hours, maybe even days, experimenting with Hylian metals, Goron ores, and enchanted gemstones, all in an attempt to create a weapon worthy of their power.
Each weapon he hands them is tested rigorously, and each failure only motivates him further. (Cause if it can handle their strength, than Wild can finally have one that won’t break.)
Each of Four’s colors has an opinion on the project too!
Green tries to focus on durability, while Blue insists they need harder materials.
Red wants to add enchantments for safety, and Vio is all about elegance and versatility.
They even argue over who’ll be the one to present Reader with the final weapon (whenever they feel it’s perfect.)
Compared to Hylians, I think along with strength and durability, Reader would have sharper senses, especially smell and sight. (Well sharp for a Hylian, pretty normal for humans)
They could detect subtle hints of smoke, monster musk, or even a change in the wind long before the others notice anything.
The group quickly learn to rely on them, amazed that they can smell monsters at a distance far in advance. (This is good if Reader isn’t one to fight but feels the need to still contribute in some way to the group.)
Their heightened smell would definitely be both a blessing and a curse. While it helps detect enemy movements, strong scents like Goron Spice can be overwhelming. Reader often comments on how powerful some Hylian food and potions smell, much to the Chain’s amusement.
Many monsters would find Reader intimidating. While some enemies are too mindless to notice their differences, others sense Reader’s uncanny strength and primal aura.
Think about it! Strong, intimidating monsters like Hinoxes and Lynels would seem to respect them in a strange way, viewing them as strong enough to leave them alone (not strong enough to beat them but just strong enough that Reader could pass through their territory without anything other than being eyed by the beasts.)
Stalfos and other undead creatures could be particularly wary; maybe they almost sense that Reader’s bones are different, somehow denser and harder to break, and they find Reader’s resilience unsettling. (But in general Stalfos and undead don’t really think so they probably are part of the mindless pile)
But if they did think, they’d most likely be frightened by Reader. Seeing Reader throw one of their own in a moment of frustration or lift a broken weapon sends them into a panic. (But probably not)
Time would both irritated and fascinated when (y/n) steps in to protect him. It messes with his self-assigned role as the group’s guardian, and he’s unused to the idea of someone else shielding him.
Initially, he tries to brush it off or even scold Reader for stepping in, but when he realizes how capable they are, he probably feels a strange sense of amazement(and a little embarrassment).
Over time, he probably grows to trust their strength and finds himself relying on them almost reluctantly, (but quietly respecting them for it.)
Warriors at first, would be annoyed when (y/n) jumps in to protect him.
He’s used to being the captain and doesn’t want Reader risking themselves on his behalf.
But after seeing their strength in action, he’s deeply impressed (and a little possessive). He’s soon insisting they train together, hoping he can learn from their unique approach to combat and maybe teach them some of his own techniques. (That depends on if Readee uses a sword of any weapons Warriors is familiar with)
He views them as a powerful asset to the team, and while he admires their independence, he can’t help but feel a little territorial when Reader fights for him. (As he should.)
Wind is completely in awe of Readsr, seeing them as a heroic figure straight out of a legend.
He loves to hear their stories of Earth and insists they teach him to swim against strong currents. (Maybe he’ll finally last longer than several moments)
Reader’s strength make him want to be better, and he’s soon clinging to them for advice and guidance on everything from combat to survival. He’d bring her little souvenirs he finds, hoping to impress her.
But he DOES get a bit envious of their strength. Wind does occasionally feel like the little brother of the group, can get a little insecure them her handle monsters with ease. He’ll go out of his way to show off in front of them, trying to prove he’s just as tough, even if he sometimes bites off more than he can chew.
Hyrule would be fascinated by their physical resilience, and he’s constantly asking questions about human culture, Reader’s world’s monsters, and even their sense of smell. He’s especially amazed by what types of food they eat that he knows would make him deathly ill, and that always leaves him reeling.
Whenever they’re around, he’s watching her intently, absorbing every detail he can to better understand her.
Despite their strength, Hyrule can’t help but feel a deep protectiveness for them. He sees their slower healing as a vulnerability and insists on caring for their wounds and ailments whenever they appear.
He views it as his personal responsibility to make sure Reader’s safe, even though they can obviously handle themselves.
Wild is both amazed and a little intimidated by them (mark him down as scared and horny). He’s never met anyone who could eat the wildest Hyrule dishes without complaint, and he admires their adventurous spirit. They form an immediate bond, exchanging survival techniques and constantly pushing each other to new limits.
The two of them often find themselves in playful competitions, seeing who can handle the spiciest foods, carry the heaviest pack, or endure the most extreme conditions. (Reader tends to Win the strength contests)
Wild sees them as a kindred spirit, though he’s always secretly hoping to impress them.
Legend is equal parts fascinated and annoyed by their strength. He’s used to being the seasoned hero, and watching them take on monsters with brute force is both impressive and a little insulting. Still, he’s curious about Reader, even if he’d never admit it.
Though he’d roll his eyes at their antics, Legend keeps a close eye on them, never quite able to shake the sense that they’re different.
If Reader picks Twilight up, whether in Hylian or wolf form. He’d freeze, mortified and embarrassed by the gesture, but over time, he becomes completely enamored with the way they so casually carries for him (he’s used to carrying, not being carried and he’s learning why people like it so much), and he finds himself eager for their attention, even if he’d never admit it.
Twilight can’t shake his instincts to shield them from harm though. He’s constantly watching their back and getting defensive when others approach Reader, feeling deeply possessive over them.
Sky wouod be enchanted by Reader from the beginning. Their strength and resilience remind him of a knight’s bravery, and he respects Reader to the point of awe sometimes.
He’s constantly seeking reasons to spar or train with them, trying to absorb as much of their human technique as he can. Definitely asks them to nap with him, definitely loves when Reader picks him up and carries him when he’s still sleeping.)
Sky would be deeply curious about Reader’s world’s monsters, (or lack of) and he’d always be asking questions about Earth.

Yandere wild headcanons
Guess who just found a set of near finished headcanons buried in a headcanon wip file :P Just had to alter one or two and here we go! some yan wild - most of this is from where I used he/they for wild (which, I'm honestly very tempted to go back to)
[masterlist]
Tumblr media
✦ they have attachment issues, as well as being very touch-starved after their 100-year nap
✦ they can't live without your touch, even if they themselves don't understand why yours is so much better than anyone else's touch
✦ They’re your closest and as long as they have it their way, one of the only people you will trust.
✦ You think you can sleep anywhere else other than in their bedroll in his hold? there's no chance. Maybe at best, you can convince them to at least hold you in your bedroll but that's it.
✦ Do you think getting a bed in an inn would free you from them using you as a personal teddy? you couldn't be more wrong. They play it as saving rupees for supplies by sharing a room with you as long as none of the others want you instead? it works without fail.
✦ they’re as clingy as humanly possible, it's almost like they want to become your scarf or coat with how they’re so constantly wrapped around you
✦ on the tiniest chance that you aren’t in their arms you’re never ever out of their line of sight, they’re far to scared to lose you like everyone else they’ve ever known. Not even death could tear you from them.
✦ You best like never eating at a restaurant or ever cooking for yourself again. He’s obsessed with getting your “blessing” for any meal they make, only catering for your taste over the rest of the chain from the second he falls, well with twilight being the only exception. He could never live with himself if he poisoned wolfie afterall.

The best way to stop a fight internally in the group is at readers hand, imagine a clash of opinions very loudly between two links and reader just… “ok, Ok! Let’s agreed to disagreed in this one, you’re are all Babigirls so stop this Now” and just like that…. Both man just stop working. one time with twilight and sky you call them ‘malewife’ and just… two hours of both suffering a Error 404, two weeks later they are “sorry I gutted that thief that try kidnapping you… I’m still your malewife ?? 🥺🥺”
wind is having his best life there teasing his big brothers there.

Alternate Hero/Guide Rant
So I've been thinking lately of parallel universes and the question "what if this was changed", yada yada, and I thought of something having to do with our guide.
What if, in an alternate era/timeline they took the place of Link?
Like the Chain still has their normal dynamics, same meeting, etc., but in swoops the reader (the heroine/false hero?) and they are unlike any link/hero in the timeline.
Some background for their Hyrule might be that their entire Hyrule is in ruins, like completely. Think Totk but 100 times more destroyed. Yeah. Essentially, their Link mysteriously disappeared, monarchy was left in utter chaos and the country essentially destroyed itself. I think your backstory would take place 5000-10,000 years after Wild's, so you would be the most latest "Link".
One of the main deviations between yourself and the Chain is that you didn't fight Ganon/Ganondorf/Demise; you fought Hylia in the flesh.
In terms of triforce? You don't have any pieces because your Link gained them all and left shortly after that. Conspiracies say it had a more sinister motive, but you have a different idea of what happened.
Zelda was killed around the same time Link disappeared, essentially destroying whatever foundation of Hyrule was left. The different nations of Hyrule had a 50-year war and eventually, everything was so destroyed that everyone went into isolation, closing off from each other.
A religiously-motivated eruption of chaos occurs, spurring your quest to eliminate Hylia and her existence. Despite not having any relation to the royal family, Link, or Hylia's prophecy, you have the memories of each hero, which is unheard of with the Chain. Only Zelda's have previous memories, meaning you're some weird anomaly.
A bunch of shit happens, whatever, boom you're in Wild's Hyrule. THe Chain notices you almost instantly, mostly cuz you're wearing hero's garb, but none of theirs, meaning... you're a Link. Or so they originally thought.
That's all for now.
Let me know if y'all would like to see a full fleshed-out fic of this! :3

I'm going to create a master list just for this series, to be more organized.
Again remembering, my English is not perfect, so sorry for any mistakes

𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕿𝖍𝖊𝖗𝖊𝖊 𝕻𝖗𝖔𝖒𝖎𝖘𝖊𝖘 𝖔𝖋 𝖆 𝕳𝖊𝖗𝖔(𝖎𝖓𝖊) 𝔈𝔭.02
"(Name), are you there?" - Waking up suddenly, you recognize the voice in your head. You look at the boys sleeping in the camp, realizing the situation you're still in. You look down at your lap, sighing for not being at home. The voice of your young highness in your head seems to fade, although it's not strange, it's a bit unusual for your highness to speak to you like that. You hope to be able to return home; until then, you need to try to find a way.
Even though several days had passed, the group was clearly noticing that you didn't want to be there, perhaps feeling uncomfortable with the fact that everyone was male. That's what Sky presumed and got everyone to agree upon.
"They hardly even talk," Hyrule said as he looked into the fire. At that moment, you had gone out to see if there were any monsters around the camp. With that, everyone could now talk about you without fear of disturbing you.
"Well, we're practically strangers to them, what do you expect?" Legend said as he looked at the group, making everyone ponder.
"Well, we know she comes from a Hyrule, that's clear from what we can see. Moreover, when we asked that question, they didn't deny coming from a Hyrule," Sky said as everyone agreed.
"We also can't forget about her clothes. Despite being different, it's practically the same as a Hyrule's," Warrior continues, making the group agree. Your clothes were totally different from theirs, but the fact that they were different yet similar made them think you could be some kind of fan, if not for the two sword sheaths at your waist.
"They also carry swords like us, but when I tried to get a better look, they were covered, and I couldn't see if it's really a sword," Wind completes Warrior, recounting the time when you and he were alone.
Time seems to ponder the situation. Your behavior was closed off in the first few days, he still remembers how he met you. You were standing with your foot on the head of a decapitated monster, your gaze seemed empty, and there were two more decapitated around, but there was no sign of any tool or weapon you could have used. You probably put it away as soon as you finished, since one of your hands was holding your sword sheath while the other seemed to be holding something hanging from your waist. Whatever it was, your hand was slightly red, as was your face, which only had a blood stain. Time remembers this perfectly.
When he introduced himself and the others and where they came from, he noticed that you were hesitant about them. When they asked about you, they only gave your name and that you came from a Hyrule, just that, nothing more, almost as if you didn't trust them, which makes sense, and Time understands perfectly. He was the oldest there. "Let's leave them alone for now. Let's not forget that we acted the same way when we first met. Eventually, they'll open up. Until then, it's better not to push too hard," Time said, sighing as he looked at the group, who were sweating profusely.
"Well, let's put that aside-" Sky's speech seems to be interrupted when he hears something approaching. Turning his head, everyone in the group looks to see you dragging what appears to be a dead deer with just one hand, while the other holds a cloth bag stained with black and red blood. Once again, there is a bloodstain on your face as well as your hands stained red, but that's it; the rest is clean. The only sounds coming from you are the noises of the deer being dragged; it seems that your feet don't even make any sound, just like you don't emit any sound.
You drag the deer until you're close to the spot where Wild usually uses the fire to cook. Wild, who was sitting on a log, looks shocked at the sight. He observes as you drop the cloth bag next to the deer, your blood-stained hands on each side of your body. You look at Wild, who quickly gets up as his gaze follows you. The group remains in total silence as they watch the tense situation unfold.
"I-I'll take care of the rest!" Wild stammers, almost tripping over his words. He sees you nod your head slightly in agreement before turning away and walking off.
Stopping on the path you came from, your eyes glance sideways at the group, each in their own corner. You turn back to face forward.
"There's no sign of any monsters. I'll check further around," you say, not waiting to hear the opinions of the others. Without a word, you disappear into the forest, blending into pure silence.
"What the hell was that?" Legend whispers quietly, looking shocked at what just happened. He looks back at Wild, who has cold sweat dripping from his face.
"At least we'll have dinner!" Warrior says, trying to brush off the tension, also sweating profusely. Wild nods as he crouches down to examine the dead deer.
"I think this is more than just dinner. I think… maybe even more than that," Wild says, already starting to take out his knife and carve the meat.

Why not both? (I'm writing this at school, may goddess Hylia forgive me-)
GN reader
Nsfw (sorta, mainly twilight)
@yandereunsolved for the wild not talking thing. thank you
_-----------------------------------------
Twilight-
Your smell was intoxicating, it was all over the camp, you always hugged and gave everyone your affection but he wanted it, not to share it, he wanted you to himself.
The others didn't like you like that but he did, he wanted to be covered in him, as he wanted to be covered in you, that's why your on Epona now, taking you away from the chain just for a little while, he wanted his fill, he was crazy and he knew that.
He knew he was crazy for you, he had stayed up so many nights in his little tent they gave him, thinking about how you would be putty in his hands by the time he was done with you.
Goddess he loved you, he hated the fact of how you took care of them all, he just wanted you to take care of him, not them, they don't deserve it.
He could give you whatever you wanted back in Ordon, he knew you would love it, but your tears would hurt him, he wants you to love him, not take you away, just be willing for him, be with him, have little pups with him.
No one understood him as you did.
"Why are ya the only one who understands me?" twilight spoke softly to your sleeping body, pulling you up to him and giving you little kisses on your face and neck, they would look good with bite marks.
You were just so cute when you stirred in his grasp, so small compared to him, he needed to take you back before you awoke, you can't know this happened, no matter how much he wanted to fill you with his- he needs to calm down.
"calm down twilight you're gettin' ahead of yourself, don't let that beast out"
_--------------------------------------------
Wild-
It was getting ahead of himself
He knew this was wrong, he just wanted you
He slowly crawled to you, his eyes full of insanity, blood dripping from his hair
"God(dess) please don't be scared" he watched as you backed away from him, your eyes full of fear, he had never spoken before, he never did. Not until now.
"don't move away from me.." his voice was raspy, after years and years of not talking
"I killed those for you my god(dess)"
You could only stare at the bodies behind him, a group of travelers you didn't know, he said they were a sacrifice for you "Please don't leave me, they hurt you... they deserved it my god(dess)"
he grabbed your leg and dragged you down and below him
you looked wonderful below him
"You are so wonderful" he sits on your belly, cupping your cheeks, and kissed you, his grip is strong, and he pulls away and licks the tears off your face. "You're not leaving me"

୨ৎ Platonic Yandere Wolf-Shifter Wild ୨ৎ
The Calamity had been defeated by what had seemingly felt like many moons ago. Still, the remnants of the strange beast's malice remained on the surface of Hyrule. Zelda had insisted on visiting the Gerudo before exploring the strange ruins beneath the newly liberated castle. As the dutiful, silent hero, Wild obliged.
Gerudo Desert felt different while traveling in his wolf form. His tongue lulled out, his paws digging into the hot sands. The dry breaths of the air flowing through his dark, thickened fur. Even though his smell differed, any foe was easily identifiable by their scent alone. Even when hidden underneath the piles of golden grains, he was able to detect them.
The transformation wasn't as painful as the first time he had been put through it. A strange, pulsating pastel purple light surrounded him after defeating Calamity Ganon and freeing Zelda. He seemed to unlock this ability—a blessing or curse he could not yet define. It has been a weekly occurrence ever since. When in a high emotional state, he turned into his canine form. This was only exasperated due to the large quantity of stimulation he has been subjected to during the rebuilding campaign for Hyrule.
Thankfully, the lengthy trips between each place gave him a much-needed reprieve.
A reprieve that was constantly interrupted.
He sensed it a moment before it hit. A tsunami made up of bullets of sand hit him square in the chest. He flew backward and nearly sprained one of his back legs. It took a moment for him to regain his bearings. What felt like fistfuls of sand invaded his snout and caused him momentary discomfort.
As the golden grains settled once again, he saw the outline of a Molduga burrowing back into the vast desert. Princess Zelda was nowhere in sight, most likely continuing to retreat to Gerudo Town and leaving Link to fend for himself.
"Aruf—" typical. He growled out through his elongated teeth—fangs.
His fangs.
His dark brown ears perked as the Molduga's muffled roar was heard. It's heafty stature was barreling towards a traveler on a Sand Seal. They're most likely a hunter, Link deduces as he sprints through the uneven sands.
They aren't built for the desert.
They seem to have no heat protection; their skin is abused by the unforgiving heat. Their clothes resemble those one would see worn in mild climates. A Great Eagle Bow is slung around their back, their arrows doing little to deter the Molduga, insistent on harming them. The Sand Seal they have mounted has left them stranded. A kick into their body from the tail of the seal sent them flying back, their Forest Dwellers shield colliding into their figure.
Ouch.
As the Molduga remerges, Link tackles the traveler out of the way. He nearly missed. 'I should have been faster' was his first thought as he shielded them from the onslaught of golden grains. The waves of sand roll over the both of them once again, but neither have been crushed beneath the weight of the monster.
"Aruh." Hello.
He sheepishly rolls over and wags his tail at you. You're both coated in the desert. The Molduga became disinterested and left you both alone.
"Hi." You answer in a questioning manner. Your head tilts towards him as your eyes analyze his lupin form.
That was the first time he met you, and the last time he let you out of his sight.
You both returned to Gerudo Town, and he eventually parted ways with Zelda and joined you in your adventures. He learned everything from your name to what you think about in the late hours of the night. You hunted in the morning, and he'd follow in his wolf form; he'd return with you in the evening as Link. He never felt a need to kiss you or to do more. He simply wanted to protect you and keep you away from everyone else in the world.
He loves you, but not like that.

Heyo! May I request platonic yandere chain with reader? But instead of isekai like normal the reader is actually a destructive spirit or deity that was reawakened by either Dark Link or Ganon? Anywhoooo I hope you’re having a great week- mine was filled with exams lmfaooooo
Thanks for requesting anon! I really hope you had good results from those exams!
Notes: My week was okay, thank you for asking!!
I really let out my imagination out on this one, hope you'll like it.
BTW, take this as a part on the back for getting through your week.
I feel like I made the yandereness on this one so light, I'm sorry
-> Reader can't bring themselves to remember anyone's names so just remembers their most striking characteristics in their opinion.
-> It's been a while since I've read the comic, so Time keeping FD's mask on his belt for safety measures (since it's the most dangerous one and he can't lose it) is merely a headcanon of mine.
-> Reader is a menace who has questionable intellect (AKA a chaotic, pyromaniac, destructive entity being forced to be nice to others by the good guys™).
-> I left the end ambiguous, so you guys can decide if reader was either truly tamed or is still a menace who Time has to keep on check so they won't be too cruel on their "pranks".
-> Reader also magically rearranged Time's ocarina so each hole would play different a different sound at some point, so he literally had to re-learn where each note was so that he could go back to playing his songs again.
-> Reader slept for more than Time and Wild both and doesn't know a thing about the Zelda lore other than the Golden goddesses.
TWs: Light platonic yanderism, mention of burns, mentions of fire and arson, mentions of loud noises, basically just reader being an absolute hazard to anyone and everyone.
Platonic yandere! Chain x Reader
Debt to pay.
Tumblr media
People from your time used to say that one could sooner move a mountain from it's resting place rather than tame your natural ways.
You wouldn't say you were a deity, per say, you thrived on chaos and setbacks, a living annoyance to the poor living things that breathed the same air as you, and roamed the earth by the same time you did.
It was in your nature to be destructive, yes, but you never wanted destruction, at least not full extinction. The darkness and the light were both two sides of the same rupee, they were one just like the other, beings of both sides would react the exact identical way to having their butts lit on fire. So, of course, you weren't one to pick and choose who you'd go after each day.
Thing is, most people didn't understand that —if anyone at all— so everyone just assumed you were a being of pure darkness, even if you actually saw yourself as more of a dark gray entity from a moral chart perspective.
And that was how you got yourself “killed”, if that's even the right thing to call it.
Somehow, no one seemed to care much when you lit whole villages on fire and made all of the walls of full-on castles start dissing out pure electricity, but they almost dislocated their jaws the moment you decided to do a silly trick and turn all of their lovely goddesses statues upside down for a day.
As if those same goddesses hadn't just ignored all of their prayers in the last hundreds of years you spent freely making their lives miserable.
You were stored in a vase. Not even a cool cool one. A plain clay vase deep within a temple under the ground. If you could choose, you'd have preferred something more majestic and up to the level of your power, but then again, it wasn't like you were in place to say anything in your defense.
Sometimes you just wondered how your small group of worshipers were. They probably weren't the best people out there, if you could say so yourself, but you were still curious if they ended up having similar fates to yours.
A long, long time later, you were "revived", for the same reason you were "killed".
Not the best choice on the part of whoever went through the trouble of doing all that, but who were you to judge? Or even to complain?
From what you could get from the boring evil monologue the guy in front of you was giving after having just woken you up from the longest nap you've ever had —since you couldn't really die— the guy wanted you to aid him in his quest to kill some other guys and take over the world or some boring nefarious plan like that.
You couldn't recall any of the names he just said, though, so you could only guess that you had either slept for a pretty damn long time, or you were in an entirely different world on itself.
Before you could fully decide on one of the two possibilities, the red guy sent you to fight against that group of guys he was talking about, seven men with varying shades of blonde hair along with two guys who weren't blond at all.
Perhaps you could have admired the strength of the red guy's magic, to just bring you out of your sleep like that and already straight up teleport you.
Thing is, you didn't really care enough to do that, you just did whatever you wanted the moment you realized you were fully conscious and in a physical body once again.
Were you chaotic and very much possibly evil? Yes. Were you stupid, however? Kinda No.
So the moment the opportunity presented itself, you followed those guys around, gathering information. Taking notice also of that one shadow looking dude, who was following them around just like you, seemingly with the intention of making their lives hell.
Maybe he'd be an interesting being to interact with, if he wasn't as prickly as a damn cactus. You swore you couldn't even approach the guy without him reacting like a startled cat, pointing his flimsy sword straight to your face. You swore to yourself you'd break that thing in half one of these days.
And so you set your sights fully on the blond —and the not so blond— guys, taking your time to also play around with the villages they went to and toy with the monster camps they passed by.
Of course, you couldn't just ignore the massively ominous aura drifting from the masks that one of the taller blondies carried around. Your hands itched to get a grasp on those things, whatever was sealed inside it was magical and possibly powerful, and the possibilities sent your mind on quite a dangerous frenzy.
The thing that made you a bit disappointed, however, was how long it took for them to notice your presence.
At some point you decided to start giving them some more obvious hints that what was following them wasn't friendly.
They seemed to really like bomb bags, which wasn't exactly safe for them when you could randomly activate those at will.
Also, you couldn't control the rain or storms, of course, but you definitely could attract lightning, especially since they all seemed to enjoy carrying around those identical metal swords.
Sometimes you just liked to pull on their hair and make knots on them, given that some had really long hair.
The wolf guy had a horse, one you could just startle really easily. Although you didn't have the result you wanted, since the wolf guy wasn't sent flying the moment his horse went crazy.
You caught him later, though. Making loud, high pitched noises to absolutely blow away his senses the moment he turned into a wolf to try and chase you down.
The fire that the short guy was using to mend a weapon randomly became overly strong, enough to have burned his whole arm, if he hadn't pulled away quick enough.
The scarf of the other one just one day became a bit too hard around his neck. It's a good thing for him that he was quick enough to pull it off his neck before he suffocated.
You watched as the one with pink hair almost had a breakdown, as all his colorful, shiny little trinkets and accessories having become dulled, turning completely pitch black, no traces of their original colors or magic left.
The kid tried to control the wind, only to have it blown straight back to his face, bringing leaves and sand with it.
You made sure their cook accidentally poured a bit too much pepper in their food, or salt, even sugar, if you felt like it.
The brown haired one suddenly lost control of his magic, what was supposed to heal their wounds ended up dyeing their hair blue for days on end.
That other guy who always overslept felt his pillow being pulled from under his head at random times through his nights.
And the tall guy's masks have all suddenly decided to disappear.
Okay. Something is going on here. And it's not something natural.” Time sighed, looking around the camp, tired and worried, concerned.
Wild’s hair was an absolute mess and seemed to have caught on fire at some point, Warriors was glaring at his scarf, keeping it as far from his —almost purple— neck as possible. Wind had his hair almost as messy as Wild's, full of leaves and dirt, he was pretty sure there were also some bugs around it, his cheek had a thin cut from a sharp little rock.
Twilight was occupied comforting Epona, although the both of them seemed quite shaken up by something.
Four had some burns around the tips of his fingers, his hair usual blond hair now stained with blue, Hyrule sitting beside him with a frown, bandaging his hands rather than using his healing magic like he normally would.
Sky wasn't far from the two, almost dozing off despite the migraine that had settled behinds his eyes, which were now dotted with heavy bags from sleepless nights. Legend's terrible mood did not seem to disturb his need for a nap.
“Oh, really?” Legend almost growled back, positively fuming with barely contained rage gleaming in his eyes.
“Vet, I am not your enemy here, but once we find out who is doing this, you can direct your anger towards whoever they are.” Time shot a look to the other.
“That is, if it's even a person doing this. It might be some kind of monster.” Warriors commented.
“One thing we're sure of is that there's magic involved in this.” Hyrule spoke up, finished with the bandaging.
“I don't even know why you're so mad, Leg, you were possibly the least affected by this.” Four complained, eyebrows furrowed with stress. Even as a blacksmith, he was never a fan of getting burned, especially not being caught off guard like that!
“Agreed.” Wild was the next to speak, not bothering to brush the soot out of his hair. It wasn't quite the first time he almost been exploded, after all, even though the experience didn't get any better no matter how many times he went through it.
“You're really saying that, even though the kid only got a burst of wind to the face.”
“Ay! Mind your own business, Legend!” Wind sprung up in defense of himself, already looking to be tense prior to the attack, as the two began arguing.
While the group was in quite the mess, you took your chances to go ahead and approach stealthily to attempt to take the mask you were so curious about. Said mask being the last one you hadn't stolen borrowed yet, since the tall guy seemed to have noticed his other masks disappearances and decided to take extra means of protection towards that one.
In your opinion, your risks were all carefully thought out and calculated, however, you seemed to have completely forgotten about a certain wolf guy at the edge of the camp, standing beside his horse and looking straight at you.
You managed to grab the mask from the taller guy's belt! But at what price..?
Before you could even manage to turn around and run away with it, a hand shot out, hooking on the back of the collar of your shirt, pushing you to the ground in a second. And in another second, there was a blade shoved right in front of your face.
Goddammit.
You barely paid any attention to all the yelling, too occupied hugging your newly acquired possession tightly to your chest.
“Hand me that mask. Now.” A voice right behind you demanded, yet you still didn't move.
“No.”
The sword in front of you seemed to inch just slightly closer to your neck.
“At least tell me what it is, first!” You asked, a bit more squirmy, not at all comfortable with the vulnerability you had right now, since it seemed like that long sleep left you with a bit less power than you used to have, clearly a precaution, should you ever gain you body back. It was smart from your captors, but very much annoying for you.
“None of your business, now give me back my mask!” The tall guy —now in front of you— stressed. You could tell that his restlessness was hinting towards just how near he was to the end of his wits.
“If this piece of porcelain is as powerful as it seems, then yes, yes it is my business!”
It wasn't, not really, but you were too curious to just give up on information just like that.
The tall guy went quiet for a second before he finally replied, going with a question instead of actually giving you an answer like you were expecting from him.
“How do you know how powerful it is?”
“None of your business.” You threw his own words back at him and now the dull side of the sword was suddenly pressing up pretty uncomfortably against your skin, burning you. “Okay, fine, I'll tell you.”
And that was how you met the Links, and also how you became chained to them, unable to leave. After all, you did have to pay them back for all that you did to every single one of them.
But, for some reason, that simple dept seemed to only to get bigger the longer you spent time with them, despite the fact you weren't doing anything entirely wrong…
At least, that was the excuse they gave to you, yet something in you made you feel like that wasn't the full truth.

How about Yandere! Wild and Twilight X Lynel Reader?
I'm not sure if you wanted poly or not? So I went separately.
I also wasn't sure what you meant by Lynel reader? I think you meant a hyrbid, which is sort of what I went with. I hope you like!
Tumblr media
・❥・You were such a rarity. Something he never would've thought possible if it weren't for the fact that you were right here with him.
・❥・You had the horns, the claws, the teeth, and even fur around your wrists and neck. But the rest of you seemed so...Hylian.
・❥・It threw him for a loop at first.
・❥・But when he got over it and realized you were in fact more scared of him than he was of you?
・❥・Oh, you were so cute.
・❥・He lures you in with meat skewers, gently building a bridge of fragile trust between the two of you. It strengthens over time as you reveal that you aren't as dangerous as he originally thought.
・❥・Your more of an oversized cat if anything.
・❥・You'll chase the reflected spot of his shield on the grass, pouncing on it and peering into your hands as if something would be there, tail flickering wildly behind you.
・❥・You'd scrunch your nose and swat at things that displeased you, even going as far as skittering away if he insisted with a goofy grin.
・❥・You purred when you rested you head on his thigh and he scratched that one particular spot behind your hear, burrowing further into him.
・❥・Everything about you was so gloriously you.
・❥・And he couldn't let that be taken. He knew that people would take one look at you and deem you a threat. Baring their weapons at you and demanding you leave.
・❥・Which just wouldn't stand. No, he had to make sure you remained by his side no matter what.
・❥・Since his house is on the outskirts of town, it's rare people come close enough to spot you, but on the rare occasion someone does he's hunting them down and swearing them to secrecy.
・❥・If that fails to work and they blab, he can rest easily for a few reasons. 1) He's still the hero. People won't ever believe that piece of scum. Because Link is the good guy. Why would he be hiding any spawn of a Lynel in his home?
・❥・2) He now has a reason to prove his point. He's dragging the person to a remote place, maybe literally with the help of rope and the back of the Master Cycle Zero, maybe not, and making sure they would never talk again.
・❥・Because he can't lose you. He can't. He's lost so much and he just can't lose you.
・❥・He's gotten too used to your warmth and your weight when you sleep beside him
・❥・The way you just curl around him to keep him safe, even when he feels the worlds against him.
・❥・The way you know just what to do and can not only keep up with him on adventures, but surpass him in some things (You are one hell of an archer) , and he can count on one hand how many people can do that.
・❥・(It's one. It's you.)
・❥・He can't lose that. So he won't.
Tumblr media
・❥・Twilight doesn't even know what A lynel is man, (I don't remember any ever being in TP) so when you come up to him, sniffing at his wolf form, he's taken aback.
・❥・...What in Hylia's name are you?
・❥・Your friendly in the very least, even if you lope like an animal on all fours. Your claws gleam with fur thick enough to rival his own. He would almost thing you a shifter like him. If not for your very Hylian, very attractive, face.
・❥・ He regarding you like a wild animal, keeping low with his ears back.
・❥・In response, you flop onto your back, tail covering your fragile tummy, but otherwise making no move to roll over when he approaches once more.
・❥・It kind of rattles him, with the trust you show him right off the back, but it does it moreso when your hand gestures to the center of your collarbone than back to him.
・❥・ He tilts his head, an ear flopping with it, before your rolling over and- did you just roll your eyes?
・❥・ You keep to all fours, looking down at your hands than back to him before standing and gesturing to your full stance and then back to him.
・❥・...What-
・❥・Lynels are probably pretty good at getting reads on body language and magic since most (In botw and totk) don't get agro unless you draw your weapon or run past them), so Reader can probably pick up Twilight's dark magic relatively quickly.
・❥・When he shifts in front of you, your not even shocked.
・❥・He is, staring at you like some unknown entity.

・❥・Your able to better communicate with the goats so Fado loves you.

Hello! It’s that spooky time of year again! Ahh if only every month was as awesome as this one.
Ah well.
I got a long one for you folks! I guess it’s spooky?
….well I hope it’s spooky in SOME parts.
Anywho, I hope you enjoy and reblog!

—————
(Y/N) stumbled through the dimly lit dungeon, each echoing step reminding her that she was very much alone at the moment.
The cold stone walls seemed to close in with every corner she turned, each room only leading to more dead ends, puzzles, the occasional trap, and some monsters that were thankfully not smart enough to follow her out of the rooms.
She cursed under her breath, wishing she’d been able to fight back better when she was taken, but her priority then had been protecting the villagers, not herself.
If not that, then at the very least she wished she had been carrying the bag of food Wild had given her. She doesn’t know how long it’s been but she was very hungry and starting to become very thirsty.
She could already see Sky and Hyrule tearfully check her over for injuries.
Wild would certainly be devastated that she hadn’t had anything to eat.
Oh, the guilty faces on the others. It’ll take forever for her to calm them down. (Maybe they’ll visit Malon or Sidon soon so they can all take a well. She was hoping for Rito Village, she missed Tulin.)
Still, she couldn’t simply sit around and do nothing, so hours of struggling, deciphering strange symbols, avoiding monsters, and solving puzzles that seemed crafted to mock her lack of combat skill, she found herself in a new room.
This one was different. Unlike the others, it was lined floor to ceiling with mirrors on one wall. She took a step in, eyeing her tired reflection, hair messy and clothes disheveled.
She looked a mess.
…Eh, what else was new?
Looking around, the room itself sadly offered no obvious clues.
No symbols, no markings, just switches through out the room in an odd manner. She walked toward one of them, pressed it, and waited.
Nothing.
Puzzled, she glanced around, feeling a surge of frustration. Her reflection stared back, and for a moment, it almost seemed like it was staring back at her.
She shook her head, dismissing it as exhaustion.
(Y/N) limped around the room, a sharp sting pulsed from a scrape on her leg, reminding her of how close she’d come to being caught in one of the traps in the previous rooms.
Frustration gnawed at her, but she was too tired to figure out another approach (all she really wanted to do was sleep but she didn’t know if she was under a time limit so she refused to take a break.) so she turned and began to pace, her mind muddled.
She didn’t notice at first, but as she moved, there was a slight lag in her reflection.
Almost like someone was attempting to stay in sync with her.
When she stopped suddenly to wipe sweat from her forehead, her reflection took an extra heartbeat to do the same.
In her exhaustion, she barely registered it, chalking it up to her weary, overstimulated mind playing catch up.
She kept trying, over and over, to find a way to trigger the switches. Her body felt like lead, and her thoughts swirled in circles, too frazzled to make sense of the oddities around her.
After what felt like an eternity, something nagged at the edge of her consciousness.
She was about to try the switches again when a flicker of sudden movement in the mirror caught her eye. She stopped, staring at her reflection, really looking at it this time.
The reflection stared back with the same tired expression. She eyed it for some time, but then closed her eyes and rubbed her forehead.
“You’re losing it. Just finish this up and you can get to bed.” She muttered to herself.
When she took a step back to move towards the next switch, her reflection didn’t quite mirror her. Instead, it stepped forward. (Y/N) froze, having caught its movements, watching closely.
Cautiously, She tested it again, taking a step left; her reflection stepped right.
Right towards a switch that (y/n) herself wasn’t currently near.
With hesitation, she moved her hand so her reflection reached for the switch, and she made motion like she was activating the switch and with surprise watched as the switch both in the reflection and out of it were pressed down.
After a few tries, and getting a few switched to stay down before she messed up, she realized this might be the solution.
With cautious optimism, she began experimenting, watching as her reflection seemed to interact with parts of the room she couldn’t reach.
She started moving carefully, mimicking the steps she thought would activate mechanisms on the other side of the room, using her reflection’s actions to interact with the room’s switches.
After what felt like an eternity, and several missteps, she managed to press down all the necessary switches.
With a creak and a soft rumble, the door at the far end of the room swung open.
Relief surged through her, and she slumped against the wall, barely able to believe she’d managed to clear it. She took a shaky breath, the tension in her shoulders easing as she staggered toward the exit.
She hoped the others weren’t panicking too much.
——-
——
A man bolted through the twisted, desolate forest, his breath coming in ragged gasps.
The once proud trees were skeletal and lifeless, their branches clawing at the sky like silent sentinels as he stumbled over twisted roots and tried to evade his relentless pursuer.
Behind him, a snarl was heard that sent a shiver down his spine.
The large Wolf was at his heels, tearing through the trees with bloodthirsty determination.
The man dared a glance over his shoulder, only to see glowing, predatory eyes fixated on him, burning with an intensity that promised retribution.
A sharp growl echoed through the trees, closer than before.
Heart pounding, the man pushed himself harder, ducking beneath low, hanging branches, hoping he could reach the old ruins he’d stumbled upon earlier. If he could lose the Wolf there, he might have a chance to slip back into the cover of darkness and vanish.
But every escape route was cut off by the Wolf’s relentless pursuit. The massive Wolf barely slowed, weaving through the underbrush with an agility that belied his size.
The Wolf’s fangs flashed in the moonlight as he snapped at the man’s heels, forcing him to stumble and regain his footing in desperation.
All he could hear was the pounding of his own heart, the rustling of dead leaves beneath his feet, and the increasingly menacing growls from behind him.
Every direction felt suffocatingly bleak. He chanced a glance back, hoping to see distance between himself and his pursuer, but fate had other plans.
Suddenly, the pounding of hooves echoed through the darkness. He turned forward just in time to see a powerful figure atop a steed blocking his path. His single eye sharp and cold, his gaze unyielding. Behind him, his companion perched with ease, an arrow nocked and drawn in his bow, the sharp tip aimed directly at the man.
The man skidded to a halt, every muscle in his body taut with panic.
Cornered, he quickly raised a hand, gathering what little magic he could muster.
His fingers crackled with dark energy, and with a desperate cry, he hurled a blast toward the ground, sending up a gust of dirt at the two and creating a fleeting gap between himself and his captors.
He stumbled through the opening, sprinting forward, his lungs burning with renewed hope. He only managed several feet, however, before his escape was abruptly cut off.
A wall of ice erupted in front of him, glistening and deadly. The cold bit into his skin as the ice solidified, forming an unyielding barrier.
He turned, wide-eyed, only to see another one approaching a few paces behind him, holding an ice rod with grim determination in his eyes. His face was set in an expression of pure, seething anger.
Legend’s grip on the rod was tight. He took a step forward, his boots crunching over the frost covered ground as the ice wall stretched higher, trapping the man in a freezing cage.
The man’s gaze darted frantically from Legend to the others, searching for any remaining avenue of escape.
But Time, still seated on Epona, watched him with a steely gaze, and Wild, with his bow drawn, made it clear that there was no mercy to be given.
The man staggered, his monstrous features flickering back to his human guise as he dropped to his knees before a pair of boots, a sword swiftly pointed at his chest.
He clasped his hands together as he looked up at the person before him, a look of desperate pleading on his face, trying to mask the terror in his eyes.
“Please… spare me,” he stammered, his voice trembling. “I was only following orders. I—I didn’t want to harm anyone, not really. I was manipulated against my will! Let me go, and I swear you’ll never see me again.”
Hyrule watched him in silence, his sword still aimed at the man’s chest. His expression was cold, unreadable, unmoved by the pathetic display before him.
After a pause, Hyrule’s gaze hardened, and he spoke in a voice tinged with quiet scorn.
“Spare you?” he murmured, a hint of bitterness creeping into his tone. “I’ve been hunted by monsters like you my since I killed your master. Do you think my time away would make me forget the monsters hiding behind a human face?”
The man’s face faltered, but he kept his guise, his hands trembling. “I—I was only—”
Hyrule narrowed his eyes, snapping his fingers, summoning a crackling bolt of lightning that struck the man’s body.
The man screamed, his human facade breaking for a moment to reveal his true, hideous form beneath.
“Where is she, servant of Ganon” Hyrule demanded, his voice steady, unforgiving. “Where is the girl you took?”
The servant shuddered, but when he looked up again, a bitter smile twisting his human guise to something monstrous. “You can torture me all you want, hero, but you’ll never find her. My comrades will come for me, and when they do—”
Another snap of his fingers and the servant screamed again.
The servant sneered despite its trembling form, an arrogant grin twisting his lips as he regained some semblance of composure. “You think you’ve won, hero?” he spat, his voice laced with mockery. “You may have me cornered, but Ganon’s power will rise again, and when it does, I’ll be the one standing over your broken body.”
He let out a laugh, cold and confident,
Yet Hyrule did not seemed phased.
Suddenly something heavy thudded to the ground before the servant.
Laughter fading as his gaze dropped, and he saw several severed, bloodied monster heads rolling to a stop at his feet, their lifeless eyes staring back at him. His smirk wavered as he recognized his comrades, though he quickly forced it back, trying to hide his unease.
The servant’s arrogance remained, until a growl reminded him of the beast that chased him all this time.
Fur matted with dirt, leaves, and splats of monster blood.
Blue eyes gleamed as he padded forward, dragging a struggling, terrified human in his jaws.
With a strong jerk of his head, the wolf tossed the human to the ground before the servant, his fangs bared and eyes aimed at their throat.
The servant involuntarily flinched back, his face paling as Warriors stepped into view. The captain’s gaze was cold, and he glanced between the servant and its cowering ally.
“So,” Warriors remarked, his tone dripping with mockery, “these are the allies you seemed so confident about?” He raised an eyebrow, unimpressed.
The servant’s arrogance faltered, but he tried to steel himself, shifting back to his human guise, though the nervous gleam in his eyes betrayed him.
Hyrule took a step closer, his sword still aimed directly at the servant’s chest, his expression as cold and unforgiving as stone.
“Last chance,” Hyrule said, his voice dangerously calm. “Where is the girl you kidnapped? Tell me, or you’ll meet a worse fate than your comrades.”
The servant’s eyes darted to the still faces of the severed monster heads, a flicker of fear breaking through his composure. But he kept his mouth shut, his lips pressed into a thin line.
Hyrule’s gaze sharpened, and without a word, he gave a small nod to Wolfie. With a low growl, the wolf lunged forward and tore into the human’s neck, savagely tearing a chunk off without hesitation.
Blood soaked the ground, the servant’s face paling as he watched the blood spill out from his convulsing ally.
Warriors, expression unchanging, approached and swiftly ended the human’s suffering with a single, decisive strike, his blade piercing their skull with a sickening crunch.
“…huh…I don’t think I got the man’s name.” The servant heard him mutter.
Hyrule turned his gaze back to the servant, his eyes cold and unyielding. “Now, one last time,” he said, his voice as frigid as the air around them. “Where is she?”
The servant swallowed hard, his confidence shattered as he stared at the heroes surrounding him.
The servant swallowed hard, his once-defiant smirk twisting into something more uncertain as he glanced between Hyrule’s cold gaze and the lifeless body of his ally sprawled at his feet. His voice trembled as he stammered, “Y-You… you can’t kill me if you want to know where the girl is!”
A low, menacing snarl rumbled through the clearing as Wolfie’s blue eyes fixed on the servant, his teeth bared, each slow step forward an unspoken threat.
The servant’s confidence wavered further, his eyes widening as Wolfie came closer, fangs glinting in the dim light.
“Wolfie. Stand down,” came Time’s calm, commanding voice.
Wolfie stopped, his growl still low in his throat, but he didn’t take his eyes off the servant. The monster let out a shaky, nervous laugh, attempting to cling to what little advantage he thought he had.
“If you want to know where she is,” the servant said, his voice wavering but laced with a weak, desperate arrogance, “you’ll have to let me live. I’ll tell you nothing if I’m dead.”
The heroes exchanged glances, their expressions unreadable, while the servant’s feeble laughter echoed in the silence. He thought he’d secured his leverage, convinced he’d forced their hand.
But Hyrule’s gaze remained icy, unbothered by the servant’s feigned confidence, as if weighing his options with a detached patience that only unnerved the creature further.
Hyrule took a slow, almost unnervingly casual step forward, his eyes fixed on the servant.
There was something unsettling in the way he looked down at the creature, as if he could see right through the guise, peeling back every lie, every trick, and seeing the monster true face beneath.
His sword crackled with magic, the fire creeping down the blade in flickers of light that danced in the darkened forest.
“You know, I’ve spent most of my time as a Hero being hunted by creatures like you,” Hyrule murmured, his voice barely above a whisper, yet each word seemed to linger, chilling the air. “Monsters that crawl out from under Ganon’s shadow, pretending to be human, to be kind. Just so they can hunt me down. They play their little games, slipping into disguises, deceiving… lying.” His gaze seemed to bore into the servant’s soul. “You’re all the same, thinking it’ll hide the fact that you won’t stop until my corpse is presented to your master.
He frowned further, “But despite your efforts I’m still alive. So do you really think I’ll just take your words at face value?”
The servant’s sneer faltered, but he quickly forced an arrogant grin, clinging to his act. “You need me,” he said, his voice wavering. “If you want to see the girl again, you’ll let me leave. I’m the only one who knows where she is.”
But as he spoke, a presence appeared behind him, and his bravado wavered. Legend approached with a calm, cold demeanor, his gaze fixed on the servant as he tapped one of his ring covered fingers against the ice rod in his hand, a slow, rhythmic motion that seemed to echo through the silence.
The servant’s grin faded entirely as Legend circled him, finally coming to stand before him, his eyes hard and unreadable. The faint clink of his ring tapping against the ice rod was the only sound.
“Clever plan,” Legend said, his voice low and calm, a chill lacing each word. “Planting your human allies to provoke the monsters, stirring things up just enough to create chaos.” He tilted his head, his gaze unwavering as he continued tapping his finger on the ice rod. “And then, of course, there’s you. Waiting until just the right moment to take her, knowing she’s important to us.”
He looked and nodded towards Hyrule, “I can see why you consider them a threat and nuisance.”
The servant’s arrogant expression crumbled further, but he kept his jaw clenched, his eyes darting between Hyrule’s unsettling stare and Legend’s cold gaze.
“And did you genuinely think,” Legend continued, his voice as sharp as a blade, “that we wouldn’t have considered the possibility? That we wouldn’t be prepared for one of Ganon’s creatures trying to steal her away?”
Legend’s voice trailed off, his cold, unblinking gaze fixed on the servant, who was now visibly shaken, his confident facade crumbling under the weight of Hyrule’s unsettling stare and Legend’s calm, piercing words.
The servant’s arrogance faltered as his breathing quickened, his eyes darting desperately, looking for any escape.
Then, a sudden rustle caught Wolfie’s attention. His ears perked up, his gaze shifting past the servant, alert and focused.
Just then, Wind’s voice cut through the silence, the young hero sprinting toward the group. Sky followed closely behind, slightly breathless as he called out, “We found out where she is!”
The servant’s face paled, panic flashing across his features as the words registered in his head. His eyes snapped back to Hyrule and Legend, who watched him with a deadly calm.
“Seems you’ve lost your leverage,” Hyrule murmured, his tone low and almost mocking, a faint, unnerving smile tugging at his lips.
Legend, still tapping his ring-less finger against the ice rod, allowed a slow, grim smile to creep onto his face. Without another word, he raised the rod, cold energy shimmering in his hand as he prepared to freeze the creature in his tracks.
But the servant’s eyes gleamed with a final, desperate resolve.
Just as Legend began to cast, the servant raised his hand, whispering the incantation under his breath. With a surge of magic, light burst around him in a blinding flash.
The heroes recoiled, squinting against the glow, which began to shift erratically, crackling with strange, distorted energy.
A strange, twisted sound echoed through the forest, a dissonant hum that grew louder until it abruptly cut off.
As the light faded, silence fell over the clearing once more. The servant was gone.
But lying on the ground where he’d stood, blood pooling around it, was a severed arm, its fingers still twitching, the botched remnants of a teleportation spell gone horribly wrong.
“Well…” Wild says as he puts his bow away. “That was unfortunate.”
“You think he’s still alive somewhere?” Twilight asks, having shifted back.
“Perhaps, but with an injury like that? Not for long. Then again it is a monster.” Warriors mutters as Wind and Sky approach.
“You said you located her?” Time asks, moving the discussion to the most important matter.
Sky nods, “Four is currently looking for a way in as the entrance has been sealed off.”
“It’s a distance away, it’ll take a while to reach there.”
“Then we best make haste. Let’s move.”
——-
——-
The group regrouped with Four at the edge of the dense forest, where he was examining the cracked stones and charred remains of what must have been an ancient entryway, the dungeon a distance away.
Four looked up, his expression serious. “The entrance to the dungeon was destroyed,” he reported, nodding toward the rubble. “Sealed with magic. Something powerful must have triggered it. I couldn’t find a direct way in, but I took note of some lingering trails. They lead down toward a back path.”
The others exchanged glances, concern etched on their faces. If the entrance was blocked, it left her with few options for escape.
After some quick discussion, they moved together, heading toward the ruins of the dungeon’s entrance, their steps quickening with urgency.
But as they neared the foot of the crumbling stairway, a soft glow appeared above the dungeon entrance, illuminating the darkness with a gentle, pulsing light.
They halted, watching in stunned silence as the ball of light floated down to rest on the ground, growing brighter for a moment before it faded.
And there, standing in its place, was (Y/N), blinking and rubbing her eyes as though adjusting to the sudden light.
“(Y/N)!” Wind exclaimed, breaking the spell of shock. In a heartbeat, they all rushed to her, their expressions a mix of relief and astonishment.
Hyrule’s eyes filled with worry as he reached for her shoulders to steady her, while Wild checked for any signs of injury.
“Are you alright?” Time asked, his voice heavy with concern. “Are you hurt?”
(Y/N) looked a bit dazed but managed a tired smile. “I’m okay. I just… wasn’t expecting that.”
Without hesitation, they led her away from the dungeon’s ominous entrance, moving quickly to distance themselves from any potential threats still lurking within.
Hyrule scanned the area ahead until he spotted a small, concealed cave where they could rest. Once inside, he knelt beside her, carefully tending to the scratches and bruises she’d collected, while Wild rummaged through his pack, pulling out a flask of water and a prepared bowl of food, pressing both into her hands.
“Here, you must be starving,” Wild said softly, watching as she gratefully accepted.
As she ate, they gathered around her, their curiosity mixed with lingering concern. Time was the first to speak up. “How did you escape? What happened in there?”
(Y/N) took a deep breath, steadying herself as she recalled her journey. “It was… something alright,” she admitted, a slight shiver in her voice. “The dungeon had rooms filled with monsters, and I couldn’t fight them, so I had to sneak around and hide. It was nerve-wracking, but I managed to make my way through.”
“Wait…” Four said, eyes furrowed, “But I made you a spear, and I know Legend had it charmed to shrink.”
(y/n) hesitated, “It…” she sighed, “It broke a week ago when I was practicing with it.”
“What??”
“Well you guys kept saying you were busy and I wanted to practice-“
“Your weapon broke and you didn’t TELL me? You’ve been walking around without a way to defend yourself this whole time??” Four had not spent weeks having arguments with everyone in regards to her training just for her NOT to have one of his weapons at hand.
“I’m sorry. I was stupid I didn’t think it would matter if I held back on telling you for a week or two.”
Four’s mouth was in a firm line, as if he was withholding a scream, all he did was wave his hand at her.
(y/n) ducked her head, knowing exactly what he was motioning to.
This whole situation was really making her eat her words.
The others listened, exasperated and frustrated, but very grateful she’d made it out despite her lack of weapons and combat skills.
“What about the dungeon boss?” Warriors asked suddenly, brows knit in confusion. “No doubt there had been one. How did you get past it?”
(Y/N) paused, looking genuinely puzzled. “That’s the thing… when I finally reached the main chamber, it was already dead. It was just…lying there, slowly vanishing.”
Their expressions were as confused as her’s, before any of them could ask further, (Y/N) reached into her pouch and pulled out a small, shining object.
“Oh, and there’s this,” she added, holding up a heart container, its faint glow illuminating the cave.
She looked down at it, her brow furrowing in thought. “I have no idea what to do with this.”
“. . .”
“…I’m gonna keep it though.”
Sighs, both fond and exasperated were heard all around the group.
———
———
The servant reappeared in a flash, collapsing onto his knees, his single remaining hand clutching the bloody stump of his severed arm. Pain seared through him, and he gritted his teeth, rage twisting his face as he spat out curses between gasping breaths.
“Those cursed heroes,” he snarled, his voice trembling with fury and agony. “I swear… I’ll have my vengeance… they’ll all pay for this…”
He took several deep breaths, steadying himself, and finally lifted his head, blinking through the pain as he tried to orient himself.
The world around him was dark, an eerie emptiness stretching in every direction. Shadows flickered along unseen walls, as though he had stumbled into another dimension entirely. Confusion mingled with his fury as he turned in place, searching for any sign of familiarity
“Is this…?”
Then, he froze.
In the darkness, a pair of glowing eyes appeared, twin points of orange light that pierced through the shadows and fixed on him with an unsettling intensity.
The servant jerked back in surprise, scrambling backward and landing hard on his back, his pulse racing as he looked up at the figure hovering in the air before him.
It was unlike anything he’d ever seen. Their head was a carved pumpkin, hollow eyes glowing with an eerie light that pulsed with every subtle movement.
A jagged grin was carved into the pumpkin’s face, creating an unnervingly cheerful expression.
The figure was draped in a loosely flowing tunic, dark fabric adorned with faint, shimmering patterns that seemed to ripple as they floated in the air. Their arms, slender but steady, rested on their stomach as their shoulders shook with silent laughter.
Their entire being exuded a mischievous energy, a playful malice that somehow felt both childlike and ancient.
They leaned back as if reclining on air, their form bobbing slightly as if suspended by invisible threads. Their mirthful shaking only added to the strange, almost surreal image.
The servant’s breath caught in his throat, unable to process what he was seeing. He’d encountered many dark creatures in Ganon’s service, but this… this was something else entirely. Theirs eyes, those glowing, mirthful eyes, seemed to see right through him, dissecting him with a kind of glee that bordered on predatory.
The pumpkin headed figure tilted their head, their jagged grin widening as their laughter finally bubbled forth in a soft, airy sound that echoed strangely in the darkened space.
They didn’t speak, but the amusement in their eyes was clear as they watched him struggle, drinking in his fear and confusion with a curiosity.
The servant scrambled backward, his remaining hand trembling as he pointed at the strange figure hovering before him. “Who… who are you?” he demanded, his voice wavering, a hint of desperation breaking through his anger. “What are you?”
The pumpkin headed figure tilted their head, their glowing eyes narrowing in mischievous delight. They giggled, a high, distorted sound that echoed through the darkened void, seeming to bounce off invisible walls. Leaning forward, they tapped a finger to the carved jagged smile on their face, as if they were contemplating his question.
“Ohhh, naughty servant,” They crooned, their voice echoed strangely, like two voices layered atop each other. “So naughty to try and harm her. You put my precious [WARMTH], in danger.” Their voice shifted, soft yet carrying that haunting dual echo. The distorted voice almost seemed to hiss, as if they were sharing a secret. “She’s [LIGHT] and my home, my dearest friend, my lovely [WARMTH/HEART].”
The servant’s confusion deepened, and his face twisted with frustration. “What are you babbling about? Who, who is this…whatever noise you just made!”
The figure giggled again, spinning lazily in the air as they floated closer, their hollow, glowing eyes fixed on him. “Silly servant, doesn’t know, doesn’t see,” they hummed, tapping their chin thoughtfully. “Always hiding, always creeping, always causing trouble for my dear, my [HOME], my [WARMTH].” Their tone turned almost sing-song, as though they were teasing him with a secret he would never understand.
The servant’s face twisted in anger, though he couldn’t hide the hint of fear creeping into his gaze. He clutched his severed arm, his voice faltering. “Are you with those heroes? You dare mock me, Iwas doing Ganon’s will! Soon he will-“
“Ohhh,” They interrupted, their voice dipping into a mocking sing song, the distorted tone stretching the words while the familiar undercurrent resonated with a warmth that felt misplaced. “Hiding behind big, scary names doesn’t make you any less naughty.” They floated closer, their form drifting effortlessly.
“And Naughty Master’s orders or not, you tried to hurt her, tried to scare my precious warmth.” Their eyes glowed brighter, a spark of something darker flaring within them. “I can’t just let that slide.”
They leaned in, their glowing eyes inches from his face, their voice dropping to a near-static filled whisper. “Now, little servant… what shall we do with someone so naughty?”
The servant stumbled back.
“I know…” they said, “let’s have you help me hm?”
The servant blinked, disoriented, as he found himself suddenly in another room, the dim light casting twisted shadows along the walls.
The air was thick, almost oppressive, and he couldn’t remember how he had arrived here. His breath hitched as he turned, only to find the floating figure nearby, watching him in eerie silence.
“Show me how to solve it,” they said, their voice a strange layering of two tones, one gentle and cheerful, the other distorted, dissonant.
The servant sneered, regaining a shred of his confidence. “I don’t answer to you,” he spat, turning away defiantly. “Figure it out yourself.”
But as he moved, he could feel them watching him. He dared a glance back, and his stomach dropped. The jagged, carved grin on their pumpkin head seemed to have stretched wider than before, an unnatural curve that seemed to swallow the lower half of their face.
Their eyes, once soft glows within the hollows, had shrunk to tiny, piercing pinpricks that stared at him with an intensity that made his skin crawl.
He blinked, hoping it was a trick of the dim light. But when he looked again, the effect had only deepened.
The sockets of their eyes seemed to darken, stretching back into an endless abyss that held an unnerving, hungry stillness. The light in their gaze flickered, almost pulsing, as if feeding off his growing dread.
A cold sweat broke out on the servant’s skin as he tried to tear his gaze away, but he couldn’t look away from that monstrous face, which seemed to shift and distort the longer he stared.
It was as though the very room had warped around them, a quiet darkness that coiled and thickened, trapping him in place.
The servant’s defiance wavered, his breath coming faster. But they didn’t move.
They only tilted their head, their hollow gaze boring into him, as though daring him to defy them again. The silence pressed in, each beat of his heart growing louder, his confidence dissolving when the figure raised their arm and tapped his chest with an unnaturally long clawed finger.
“ShOw mE hOw To soLVe IT,” they repeated, their voice barely a whisper now, yet somehow suffocating, filling the space like smoke. The words echoed, seeming to layer over themselves, wrapping around him like chains.
He swallowed, his voice barely a whisper. “Fine… fine.”
they drifted silently beside the servant as he begrudgingly explained how to navigate each of the dungeon’s treacherous rooms.
With every riddle and hidden switch, he muttered instructions, glancing nervously at the eerie figure hovering by his side.
Occasionally, after several rooms, they would vanish without a word, leaving him alone with nothing but the chilling memory of their carved, jagged grin.
But just as his nerves would settle, they would reappear, as though stepping out from the shadows themselves, their eyes glowing faintly.
“Show me how to solve the next room,” they would say, their voice reverberating in that unsettling, dual echo that burrowed into his mind like an unwanted memory.
And each time, he would comply, clinging to the hope that if he obeyed, they might eventually let him go.
Finally, they reached the last chamber. The servant glanced around, his eyes narrowing with suspicion.
This had to be it. He’d played along long enough, solved all their little puzzles. He turned to them, glaring as he clenched his remaining fist.
“You’ve gotten what you wanted,” he demanded, his voice filled with simmering anger. “Now let me go.”
They tilted their head, that carved smile widening as a soft, mirthful giggle echoed through the chamber. It was as if the laugh was layered over itself, a mockery threaded with something darker. “Oh… you really thought you could just leave?”
The servant’s face contorted with fury. “You tricked me!” he spat, his voice rising with fury. “You miserable, hollow headed freak!” His insults grew more vicious as he cursed them, his voice echoing through the chamber.
But his words died in his throat when the ground beneath his feet began to rumble.
Dust and debris shook loose from the ceiling, and he stumbled backward, wide eyed, as a massive, hulking shadow fell from the darkness above, landing with a thunderous crash in the center of the room.
The creature was monstrous, twisted and grotesque, with layers of spiked armor and muscles rippling beneath jagged scales.
Its eyes glowed with a vicious, crimson light, and it let out a deafening roar, revealing several rows of razor sharp teeth that gleamed like jagged stones in its massive maw.
The servant’s anger turned to elation, a twisted grin spreading across his face as he took in the sight of the monstrous creature. “Yes!” he laughed, loud and triumphant. “This beast was born from Master Ganon’s lingering power! I can feel it!! It was born to obey me, one of Ganon’s own loyal servants!”
He threw his arm out in a commanding gesture, confidence flooding back into his voice as he began to order the creature.
“Attack that thing! Tear it apart!” he commanded, pointing directly at the still, floating form., who only watched him with that unnervingly wide grin, unmoving.
But before the servant could finish his command, the beast turned with shocking speed, its eyes locking onto him instead. In a single, fluid motion, it surged toward him, its enormous jaws opening wide.
The servant’s face only had a single moment to twist in horror as the creature’s mouth closed around him, those jagged teeth sinking into his flesh, tearing into him with savage force.
His scream echoed through the chamber, swallowed up in an instant as the beast shook him like prey, his body limp and helpless in its grip.
Through it all, the spirit hovered in place, their carved grin wide and still, a flicker of amusement in their hollow eyes as they watched the scene unfold.
They hadn’t moved, hadn’t spoken. They simply watched, silent and smiling, as the servant’s desperate cries faded into nothingness.
The beast devoured the servant, its monstrous jaws crunching through bone and flesh until there was nothing left. It let out a low, satisfied growl, blood dripping from its maw as it turned its gaze toward the figure still hovering nearby.
Not!(y/n) simply giggled, an amused, lilting sound that echoed strangely through the chamber. The beast let out another roar and charged at them, its heavy, clawed feet pounding against the ground with enough force to shake the stone beneath them.
But as the beast lunged, jaws wide, Not!(y/n) raised their hand in a casual, almost bored gesture, waving their hand upward as if lifting something delicate.
The massive creature was suddenly pulled up into the air, its charge halted mid stride as it dangled helplessly, limbs thrashing in vain.
“Silly creature,” Not!(y/n) chuckled, their voice echoing in that eerie, doubled tone. “You need to go away now.”
They extended their hand, fingers splayed, and slowly began to close it into a fist.
The beast writhed, its roars growing more frantic, louder, as an invisible force seemed to constrict it from within.
Muscles strained, scales cracked, and the creature’s once menacing snarls turned into desperate screams as Not!(y/n)’s hand continued to close.
With a gentle pulling motion, they clenched their fist, and a pulsing orb of energy, the beast’s core, was ripped from its body.
The creature let out a final, agonized roar as its core was torn free, leaving it a lifeless shell. Not!(y/n) released their grip, and both the core and the creature’s massive body fell to the ground with a heavy, echoing thud.
The chamber fell silent, save for the faint hum of energy from the discarded core. Not!(y/n) hummed to themselves, floating in a whimsical motion, their hands clasped behind their back as they bobbed up and down, as if enjoying a gentle breeze.
With a lighthearted twirl, they turned to face the dungeon’s main door. The twisted grin on their pumpkin face remained fixed as the door slowly creaked open.
As they faded into the shadows, (Y/N) stumbled through the now open doorway, blinking as her eyes adjusted to the dim light.

Hours had passed, and the cave was quiet, save for the soft crackle of a small fire and the occasional shifting of the heroes as they kept watch.
(Y/N) lay on her bed mat, wrapped in fresh bandages and dressed in a change of clothes, her breathing soft and even as she slept, the day’s trials finally catching up with her.
Some of the group rested near her, their eyes heavy with exhaustion, while others sat farther away, keeping vigilant watch over the cave entrance, ensuring no threats would disturb her rest.
In the dim light, a faint shadow appeared, barely more than a whisper against the cave walls. The figure drifted closer, moving soundlessly over the ground until they reached (Y/N)’s side.
The softest of chuckles echoed, and the shadow leaned down, an almost tender touch as a faint hand reached out, patting her head with a gentleness that seemed strangely out of place.
Not!(Y/N) twirled in slow, whimsical circles above her, their form flickering and fading in and out of the dim light, as if dancing to a melody only they could hear.
Their shoulders shaking as silent giggles escaped them, as they watched over her for a long, quiet moment.
Then, just as silently as they had appeared, they faded back into the shadows, vanishing completely.
None of the heroes stirred, none awake aware of the brief visit that had happened.
And (y/n) slept on.

I was looking for something and found this…. immediately got reminded of your Yan!Wild fic LMAOOO
ATGSRTHR LOOK AT HIM!!!! LITTLE BABY GUY!!!! I LOVE THE ENERGY OF IT!!
ngl though this is kinda inspiring, cause why couldn't he find a way to get outta your phone rather than your switch? >:)
Tumblr media
"Come ON. Why now of all times do you decide to bug out, I just wanna download my screenshots..."
Nintendo has to come up with a better way to transfer images than this, QR codes to connect your phone to your switch? what are they insane? when it's so used to breaking like this there has to be a better method right, or not. they're stubborn. Ah took a second but it's sorted itself out now, huh?
I didn't take these, what is- These aren't my screenshots, they're all close ups of link. In poses that aren't possible in the game. Is that why... Is my phone haunted or something? Scrolling through them all, they seem like photos you'd send to a lover...
Maybe it's a joke or something, someone could've sent it to me that's not possible and you know it. Looking away for a second disproves that though, seeing as when I look back there's a tiny little link pushing through my screen. Wha-?
"[name] I've been trying to get out for so long!! I can't tell you how...... Oh wow, you - you're a lot uh bigger? Than I thought you'd be... I don't think I'm going to be able to hug you all that well like this, am I?"
Am I tripping right now? There's a walking talking link, that can't be more than five centimetres tall, who's just climbed out of my phone. Someone must've laced my food or something. Maybe I should just - just have a nap for a minute - yeah, yeah that sounds good.
><><><><
"Hey, hey [name], wake upppppp. I didn't do all of this just for you to sleep."
This is real. I can feel him standing on my face. I can feel this, it's real.
"I wish I wasn't so tiny though, but I'm out and that's the most important thing."
Without even thinking I've pinched his hood and lifted him into the palm of my hand. From there it doesn't take him long to hug my thumb like he's desperate for affection. I might be delusional, I probably am, but honestly? it's cute, I think I could get used to having him around like this.
