Legend, ravio and the princess heard noises coming from the throne room and people ran by them like their running for their lives yet some are being carried do to having injuries or lost limbs an blood is almost everywhere which made the two boys worry grow since the king say before he never been in the throne room but a knight came for reader a few hours before.
The noise get louder the more the three walk towards the door to the throne room and legend move his hand on the door as his other hand grab the handle of the sword, he then turn his head to look to the two behind him.
Legend: stay here, I'll go see-
Suddenly, the door burst open, making legend fly back and land on the floor roughly ravio and zelda as well fell to the floor to move out the way. The doors to the throne room break from the pure force, and lucky miss the three but revealing a giant strange monster that none of them ever seen.
The monster let out a loudest roar, making the three held their heads in pain. Legend groaned but quickly got up and grabbed his sword and ran to the monster, aiming his sword to the monster stab it. He didn't expect blood squirting out from the stab as the monster roar loudly and raise it claw hand to smack link off which ravio see link hit the floor hard so pulled out a small dagger to throw it at the monster seeing it move it's head to were link is. The small dagger landed a hit on its eye, which, of course, bleed as ravio ran to link to help him up.
Link groan in pain but thank ravio but moment catch his and ravio attention and both look to see the monster trying to leave and zelda notice were this path leads and tell the boys quickly and all three ran after the monster. They know it they lost the monster, it's blood leaves a bloody trail so their not too worry about it til they reached the garden and all three are confused on why it's never attack anyone.
Link: why isn't it?-
The monster collapsed on the ground, and its body just as the three were going to relax thinking they successfully defeated a monster til black smoke puffed and instead seeing nothing like normally they all see reader lay on the spot were the monster was but bloody and sword still in reader body amd small dagger were-
Link and ravio blink to seeing this as zelda gasped cover her hands in shock and horror but ravio try calling reader name not believing what's happening as link Realization dawned on him that the monster he stab and what's he's seeing now made link scream and he ran to their side to calling reader and check their pulse only to feeling no pulse or warmth.
Ravio walk over to link and knows the wounds are fatal and survive this is very low, he knew that their dead and try to holding the still panic link who's trying to save them but....cant..
Ravio: link....stop.....it wasn't-
Link: no!!! Let me go!! I need to save them!!
Ravio kept slient, not letting him go, but held him tight in his arms as link try and try to get out of ravio arms only to slowly come to terms with the reality that their already gone and just let the tears fell and he hug ravio to cry as zelda watch with a frown to see the whole thing and cover her face to cry.

Still Mad?
Whump bingo won the poll so also ty to @randomperson7718 for helping me decide who and what troupe, smooches on the forehead for them. ok now :D (I trailled off and somehow did the promp worng help)
Legend (LU) x Reader Making excuses to linger because they don't want to be alone Hurt/Comfort Warnings: Blood mention and appartiiooon, wound's I thinker. Reader is Gender Neutral Words:1094
The camp was quiet, just the soft crackle of the fire and the distant murmur of the others.
You were sitting on the opposite side of the clearing, pretending to focus on cleaning your gear—but your eyes kept drifting back to him.
Legend sat hunched by the fire, trying to tie bandages against his stomach, alone. He hadn’t asked for help. Of course he hadn’t. He wouldn’t unless he was forced.
It had been days since the fight. Neither of you had talked since. Neither of you had apologized.
Sharp words, raised voices, and a line neither of you meant to cross. Since then, you’d both avoided each other like a plague.
And now he was bleeding.
You turned your dagger over in your hands. Wiped a spot that wasn’t even dirty. Watched him fumble the knot for the third time.
You weren’t even sure if he noticed you looking. Maybe he had. He was good at pretending not to.
You stood up.
He didn’t react.
You crossed the clearing slowly, hesitating just out of reach. “You’re doing that wrong.”
“I’ve got it,” he muttered, without looking at you.
You lingered. “You're using the wrong knot. It’ll come undone when you move.”
“I said I’ve got it.”
“…Legend.”
He finally looked up. His eyes met yours—tired, irritated, guarded—but he didn’t tell you to leave.
That was something.
You knelt beside him, careful not to move too close. “Let me help.”
He didn’t say anything. Just let go of the bandage and sat back, staring into the fire while you worked.
You decided to take out some supplies from your pouch—clean cloth, salve, proper bandages, not the half-crumpled ones he’d been trying to use. You worked in silence, unrolling the clean wrap and gently peeling the bloodied fabric away from his skin.
He hissed through his teeth but didn’t move.
“You should’ve told someone,” you muttered, not quite scolding, but not soft either.
“You weren’t talking to me,” he replied flatly.
You flinched. “But Hyrule was… He would’ve helped you,” you said, trying not to sound like you were accusing him. But it still came out sharp, defensive.
Legend scoffed under his breath, looking away. “Didn’t want Hyrule. Didn’t want anyone.”
You stilled, your fingers paused over the wound.
“…Oh.”
The word sat between you, awkward and small. You didn’t know what to do with it. You weren’t even sure if he wanted you here now, or if this was just him being too tired to argue.
You finished cleaning the cut, careful not to press too hard. The salve went on in slow, quiet motions.
“Didn’t want anyone,” he said again, but softer this time. “Not after that.”
You didn’t ask if he meant the fight. You knew he did.
Your throat felt tight. “You scared me.”
His lips pressed into a thin line. He didn’t say anything.
“I thought you were gonna say something you couldn’t take back,” you added, barely above a whisper. “Thought I was gonna say something that’d make you hate me.”
“…Didn’t hate you,” he muttered, looking away again. “Still don’t.”
That made your hands pause.
You tied the bandage off gently, more focused on your fingers than your voice. “I was still mad.”
“Yeah,” he said. “Me too.”
Silence again. Heavy, but not angry anymore. Just… worn out.
You sat back slightly, knees still brushing, hands resting in your lap.
“I’ve got jerky,” you said, because you didn’t know what else to offer. “Figured you hadn’t eaten.”
He blinked at you like the thought caught him off guard. Then, slowly, he nodded.
“Sure.”
You pulled a piece from your pouch and handed it over, fingers brushing briefly as he took it. He didn't pull away.
He took a bite and chewed in silence. Then, after a moment, he mumbled, “Still mad?”
You hesitated. “Not really. Just… tired of being mad.”
Legend gave a quiet hum, not quite a laugh, but close.
“That’s fair.”
You sat together like that, the fire popping softly between the two of you and the distant sounds of the others drifting through the trees. It wasn’t fixed. But it didn’t feel broken anymore.
And when Time walked past a few minutes later, heading to his bedroll, he paused mid-step. Gave the two of you a long look. Raised an eyebrow.
You caught it. So did Legend.
“What?” Legend snapped.
Time held up his hands innocently. “Nothing. Just… nice to see you two speaking again.”
He kept walking, and you could feel the heat rise to your face.
Legend muttered something under his breath and took another bite of jerky, face turned away from you.
“…He’s gonna make a thing out of it,” Legend grumbled after a long silence, chewing irritably.
You smirked, barely suppressing a chuckle. “You’re the one who growled at him.”
“I did not growl.”
“You definitely growled.”
Legend glared at you from the corner of his eye, but there was no heat behind it. “Did not.”
You shrugged, letting the tiniest smile slip. “Okay. Low-key snarled. My bad.”
He rolled his eyes, but the corner of his mouth twitched. Victory.
The crackling fire filled the quiet again, more comforting this time. Somewhere across camp, Four’s laugh carried faintly through the trees, followed by someone (probably Warriors) loudly shushing him. It felt… normal. Safe.
You glanced over. Legend was picking at the edge of the jerky now, slower. His shoulders had dropped a little, like the tension was finally starting to bleed out.
“Hey,” you said, voice low. “You know I didn’t mean it, right? What I said. During the fight.”
He didn’t answer right away. Just stared into the fire.
“…Yeah,” he said finally. “Same.”
That “same” held a hundred things he probably couldn’t say out loud, and you didn’t push. You just nodded.
“Still think you’re an ass sometimes,” you said lightly, nudging his arm with your elbow.
He let out a short breath that might’ve been a laugh. “You’re not exactly a ray of sunshine either.”
You grinned. “You love it.”
He didn’t answer right away—but then he shifted just slightly closer, shoulders brushing. Not a word. Not a look. Just a subtle nudge that told you everything.
“…Maybe.”
You blinked at him. He didn’t look at you.
You didn’t push your luck. Just leaned back a little against his side and let the silence stretch, soft and unspoken and full of things neither of you were ready to name yet.
But that was okay.
You were both tired of being mad.
And this? This was a good start.
Consider a very late treat since Oscar Piastri got podium (PAPAYA RULES MDDDDFFFF'S) (Easter break, easter break) Have this before I go and loose my sanity with Bee!Reader x Hyrule. Zelda Masterlist 🤍Fandom Masterlist
Six minutes and twenty seconds. That's how long you were able to relax before a series of knocks ruined your peace. Predictably, the sound is enough to echo throughout your small home followed by shrilling cries from the once silent cradle mere feet from your bedside.
You could almost cry yourself, although you're able to hold in your frustrations thanks to the smoothing pat your husband gives your head before sighing heavily himself and sitting up from bed. All the two of you wanted was one second of sleep - one second to collapse in bed next to each other and rest your eyes which feel as if they haven't shut in weeks, but apparently, that's too much to ask of this universe.
After giving a quick kiss to your cheek (and smirking at your annoyed grumbling), Twilight slides off the bed and makes his way to the cradle. There, he skillfully sweeps the wiggling newborn into his arms, cooing the distressed baby loving as they make their way to the front door. Seeing as this precious child has only existed for a mere week, it can't really be too much of a surprise that your home has become a hotspot for visitors. Between the village children excitedly wanting to see their newest member and their parents stopping by to offer meals, advice, and all-around support, it seems your door is almost always open these days (not you truly mind one bit), although as it would turn out, your current company doesn't fall into the excepted categories.
"What are you guys doing here?" Twilight suddenly doesn't feel so tired anymore once setting eyes upon the familiar group. They're all here - all eight of the heroes of courage; his treasured friends. This is, what, the third time his world has somehow crossed with theirs? This is really becoming a common pattern, isn't it, and for a split moment, Twilight feels a strike of fear at the thought of this being the start of yet another long, tiresome journey. Now!? He couldn't possibly leave now! What kind of partner and father would that make him? You need him here. He promised he'd be home for you, and for -
"- There's no danger, so don't fret. We've already investigated everything before coming here," Time, who must've read Twilight's worried expression, promptly explains things while failing to fall victim to the same jaw-dropped silence that strikes every other hero in the group as they all stare in astonishment at Twilight - or more accurately, the bothered baby huffing in his arms.
Instead of mocking surprise, Time’s eye casually drops to acknowledge the little one, his lips lifting into a pleasant smile, “...And this must be the famous pup I’ve heard so much about?”
“Wait, you knew?!” Sky gasps, everyone’s shocked attention snapping to the Old Man. He pays them no mind, too focused on his main priority of being the first to hold his great-great-something grandson who Twilight eagerly passes over.
“Ah!” The Rancher’s once worried expression changes like a switch, flashing away into an all-too excited grin. As has been common lately, having new company around immediately sparkles a rambling spiel fueled by his flooding avidity (which has impressively failed to die down even with the exhaustion of early fatherhood), “I was gonna send letters to y’all - it just slipped my mind. These past few days have been a bit chaotic while getting all adjusted. Yep, this one’s mine - lil’ Lupin. He’s officially four days old, born at 10:14 in the morning at a healthy 7.6 pounds -”
“- You’re gonna have to write all that down for any of us to remember it,” Wild rolls his eyes, although it’s in good spirit as he peeks at the tiny baby with a small smile. It doesn’t take the other boys long to notice that, like Time, their Champion doesn’t seem too surprised by this situation either, looking at the newborn with only a little bit more interest than he would a cute puppy.
“I take it you knew, too, then?” Four quizzes.
“He kept hinting towards it at first until I finally gave in and asked. I didn’t know when to expect them to be here, though.”
“It’s been nine months since then,” Twilight points out teasingly, causing Wild to huff and throw his hands up in the air defensively.
“How should I know how long they take to bake! Besides, judging by the way you practically sent me a whole novel about how excited you were, I figured it was only going to be a matter of weeks, maybe a few months by that point. How in Hylia’s name did you stand to be like that for nine?”
“I barely did! It was hell having to be that patience, anyone here could tell you…but Lupin’s here now and definitely worth the wait, I’d say,” Twilight sighs dramatically, looking lovingly at his son who by now has settled peacefully in the comfort of Time’s arms, no longer squirming and fussing. To be fair, his ancestor does have quite a bit of practice juggling twins at this point. One is nothing.
“He’s a beautiful baby, that’s for sure,” Time chuckles, at last taking his eyes away from his newest family member, “You did good, cub.”
Twilight preens at his mentor’s compliment, “Isn’t he? I’ve been around other babies before, but having one of my very own…It just hits different, ya’ know? …I actually wouldn’t mind a couple more -”
“- Don’t push your luck, mister,” On cue, you appear from around the corner, tiredly rubbing your eyes yet managing a smile to greet the rest of the Chain, "You weren't the one who had to go through nine months of heartburn followed by hours of torture.”
“- Eventually. I wouldn't mind a couple more ‘eventually’,” Twilight clarifies, quick to hook his arm around your waist and pull you against himself the second you’re close enough, “Besides, you handled it like a queen.”
You roll your eyes while resting your head against his shoulder, “Flattery won’t get you anywhere different.”
“That’s not what you said nine months ago~” Twilight smirks, pressing a kiss to your forehead only to earn himself a swat against the head.
Warrior originally elected to ignore the heavy knocking at his front door which threatened his peaceful morning's silence. Whatever this kingdom demands of him, they can simply add it to his tab. He's comfortable in bed where it's warm and you're snuggled in his arms, looking as beautiful as ever with a mess of bedhead and matching dark circles under your eyes. Best of all? Your son has achieved a new record of sleeping for three straight hours - THREE!
Now, Warrior is relatively used to less-than-ideal sleep schedules as a hero and captain, so having a newborn around hasn't quite hit him with the same force as it might a typical man, but that doesn't mean either of you are going to be ungrateful towards this new parenting milestone. No, you were planning on taking full advantage of it actually, wanting nothing more than to spend a lazy morning in bed until your little monster inevitably awakes...however, it seems the universe always has other plans.
The knocking only grows more frequent and loud, drawing a groan from your fiancé who finally relents. Pushing himself out of bed, he reluctantly answers the door without much effort put into hiding his annoyed expression - that is until it naturally snaps into one of mild shock and excitement at the sight of his visitors. Instead of it being someone from the Castle or military, he's pleasantly surprised to find his old traveling companions, the other heroes of courage.
"What are you all doing here?" He suddenly doesn't feel so tired anymore, in fact he’s stricken with more life and a bright smile while gazing over the group to count each familiar face. Yep, they're all here - all eight of them. It's been so long! Well, maybe not that long. It hasn't even been a full year yet since visiting Twilight's family together, but that's still plenty of time to miss old friends.
"Well, some of us have been talking lately and we thought, why not put some time aside from our busy lives to have a little get together - just us heroes, for old times’ sake!” Wild announces enthusiastically, practically inviting himself inside, not that Warrior stops him or any of the others for that matter.
“It could be a little tradition of ours. Once a year, type of thing,” Sky explains more professionally, although he isn’t any less excited than the Champion.
"A nice boy's trip to save you from the misses," Legend rephrases, elbowing the Captain’s side with a wink while passing by.
Warrior will admit: it is an intriguing proposal - getting away from the stresses of a hero to spend quality time with brothers who understand your woes. If only the Chain had visited a few months earlier, he’d be willing to entertain such a trip, but alas, he must give them a sympathetic smile instead, “As much fun as that sounds, I’m afraid I won’t be able to join you. At least not this time around.”
Immediately, the group’s uplifted smiles drop into disappointed frowns emphasized by a chorus of dejected groans.
"You knights and all your fancy work kissing the royal family’s ass," Legend huffs, and Warrior was just about to bite back on that comment with a jab of his own, however their conversation is suddenly interrupted.
A piercing cry catches the entire Chain off guard, many of the boys looking around wildly for the possible threat while others - namely Time and Twilight - are jolted by that familiar protective instinct they know all too well of from their own home lives.
“Actually, there’s another reason,” Warrior doesn’t hide his amusement towards everyone’s reactions nor does he hide his tired sigh once realizing his free trial of peace-and-quiet has ended.
He doesn’t even make it to the doorway before you appear, already rocking the baby gently in your arms. It takes some fussing from both of you to smooth his tears, calming him down just long enough for Warrior to turn back to his friends while proudly gesturing to the newborn in your arms, “Well, allow us to introduce our son, Einar.”
From there, it takes mere seconds for the Chain to snap out of it and instantly crowd you both, each fighting to get a good look at this ‘son’ in question.
“Since when did you guys have a kid?!” Hyrule awes.
“He’s so little…He can’t be that old, right?” Sky gasps.
“Only a few weeks, I reckon,” Time observes calmly from the back, tall enough to simply gaze over the sea of shoulders and heads.
“Hey, move out of the way! I can’t see! I wanna see, too!” Wind whines, shrugging to push his way through the barrier of bodies.
Twilight, steps back from the chaos to throw a playful smirk Warrior’s way, “Here I thought you were waiting for kids.”
“Us too,” You roll your eyes.
“Life happens,” Your partner merely shrugs, not even attempting to act ashamed of himself as he accepts responsibility of holding Einar while you excuse yourself to prepare a bottle once he starts whimpering again, “But we wouldn’t trade him for the world.”
“Geeze, you’re all getting old on us,” Legend mocks, eyeing Warrior, Time, and Twilight, “Not even three years ago, the Old Man was the only one of us in a committed relationship, now all three of you are suddenly tied down with children!”
“Don’t go sounding too jealous, Vet. I’m sure you’ll have your turn someday,” Warrior smirks, resulting in the other hero sticking out his tongue in disgust.
“As if. Me? A dad? You sure the world should be subjected to that?”
“Right. You might actually be doing everyone a favor by not reproducing.”
“Oh fuck off -”
“- Shh! Not in front of the baby!”
“I, for one, wouldn’t mind being a dad one day. It seems like a lot of fun,” Sky, coos, letting little Einar play with his finger, “If you ever need a babysitter, just let me know.”
"Careful. We might end up taking you up on that offer with how little we've been sleeping lately."
"Get accustomed to it, my friend, because it doesn't go away anytime soon," Time advises with a pat to the back, failing to hide the mirth filtering his voice as the new father sighs exasperatedly.
Legend isn’t usually the type to delight himself with hosting guests, nor is he much of an initiator when it comes to any sort of social interaction, so suffice to say, the Chain was rather thrown to have received unprompted invites to visit his world and home. Why the sudden open door? He gave no explanation, leaving all of the boys guessing, although Time has a few notable theories swirling in mind.
It all goes back to months ago when Legend had unexpectedly appeared at Lon Lon Ranch, claiming to have simply ‘been in the area’, yet Time knew better than to believe that. An experienced man like himself immediately took notice of his friend’s frazzled and irritable mood, such a state of dishevelment hinting towards one thing: problems at home - problems likely relating to you, to be exact, seeing as your boyfriend was swift to avoid any mention of your name when prompted.
Realizing that prying would be ineffective against someone so notorious for his emotional barriers, Time had allowed Legend to stay with him and his family without question. He, of course, kept a close eye on the young man, trying to deduce the situation the best he could from all those frustrated grumbles while working chores and pitiful sighs as the two sat together on the back porch after dinner.
It was then that Legend had taken the moment to ask Time a rather odd question that had admittedly hung in the Old Man’s head for days afterwards along with a curious conclusion as to the true reason behind his sudden visit, however nothing more was said that night beyond some wisely woven words soaked in hidden meaning.
By morning, the veteran hero was visibly relaxed when quietly expressing his plans to return home to you. Clearly, whatever troubles that once plagued his mind had been resolved following a day of reflection and a goodnight’s sleep, so Time felt confident sending Legend back on his way with a wish of luck and an offer to return whenever needed.
Perhaps that incident and this friendly invite are unrelated, after all, it’s been months between the two, although Time can’t help but wonder, the memory of Legend’s question being of particular interest as the Chain approaches their destination.
Some of the boys share their concerns along the way, a bit unsettled by the thought of Legend wanting to see them. Warrior even suggests the possibility of their friend having gone through a bad break-up, insisting there’s logic behind his guess since losing you would be the Vet’s lowest point, the extreme heartache being enough for him to abandon all stubbornness and reach out to the Chain for moral support. Arguments deemed his theory outlandish, however when Legend opens his front door to greet them, the boys begin to worry Warrior might indeed be a good prophet…
“It took you all long enough,” He huffs, his voice worn and scratchy which really sends home his obvious lack of sleep when paired with his unkempt appearance; heavy bags under his eyes and shaggy hair that stands up on all ends, “Come in, come in…”
‘Oh Hylia!’ The Chain thinks, sorrow for their friend already sinking into their bones as they illy prepare themselves for a story of true despair. Yes, Legend can be difficult and stubborn at times, and maybe you had your reasons, but surely he couldn’t have messed up bad enough to warrant you leaving him! Hasn’t the poor guy already been through enough?
“...Hey man, you doing alright?” Warrior was just about to rip the bandage off, his hand placed supportively upon his friend’s shoulder which earned him a sleepy look that falls sort of its intended glare, however before he can get any reply -
“- BABY!” Wind’s gasp pierces ears and makes several of the others leap in their skin. Indeed, if following the youngest hero’s excited point, it'll lead to where you stand in the doorway with an amused (that be it tired) chuckle…So, you didn’t leave after all? You’re still here, looking as rough as your partner which is probably excusable since in your arms is, in fact, a new baby.
“Hello everyone. I’m glad you could all make it.”
“...Oh thank Hylia you didn’t leave him!”
“What -?” Legend raises an eyebrow at Warrior’s dramatic sigh, yet he doesn’t get much of a chance to be offended. No one would notice anyway, their attention having swiftly abandoned their dear old friend in exchange for you and the baby you introduce.
“His name is Liron,” You note, earning a chorus of awes as the sweet little bundle scrunches his tiny face in displeasure towards the disruption to his peaceful sleep; already, he looks so much like his dad.
“So this is why you invited us over, huh?” Hyrule glances back over the sea of shoulders to send Legend an amused smile, “We thought something bad might’ve happened!”
“We wanted it to be a surprise…” The Vet sighs, unable to stay mad at the group’s energy, after all they have every right to be amazed. His son is pretty damn beautiful.
“Well, I’ll be darn. You gotta kid now,” Twilight smirks, even going as far as to elbow Legend’s side which, as always, packs more strength than probably intended, “And after all that hell you gave us!”
“Yeah, yeah, karma's a bitch. Laugh it up - HEY! Wash your hands first!” Legend’s focus is immediately diverted from rubbing his sore ribs to pointing an accusing finger at Wild who’s stopped mid-reach from taking the baby you pass towards him.
"I did!" The Champion gasps in offense.
“Not here you didn’t. Do it again! Sinks in the kitchen!”
Wild grumbles, forced to forfeit his turn in holding the baby. A glare is all it takes for Hyrule to follow him shamefully as well, allowing Time to be the first to actually hold the little one since his hands successfully pass cleanliness approval. Nevertheless, despite his spotless palms and seasoned experience as a father himself, the older hero must put up with Legend's paranoid hovering which isn't too unlike a hawk's, ready to snatch back his baby at a second's notice if deeming the situation to be too ‘unsafe’. Fortunately, Time's nice enough not to mention this behavior beyond a silent smirk.
“...What went through your head when you realized you were going to be a dad?”
Now Legend’s question - as random as it had seemed those many months ago - makes complete sense. The timid whisper that spoke it, the nervous avoidance of any eye contact, and that deep, thoughtful frown while listening to Time’s honest answer - all signs that pointed towards a worried father-to-be desperate for direction as he fought to keep his own insecurities and fears at bay.
At least Time can finally rest easy knowing their past conversation did some good for his friend. The young man may be fidgeting while impatiently watching his new child be passed around the group for each to see, your gently hand upon his shoulder only doing so much to relax his anxieties. You’re also both beyond tired, fitting to Time’s warning that parenthood is by far the most difficult journey one can ever take, yet there’s a switch of softness that overtakes Legend’s expression the second your son begins to mumble his disapproval, apparently fed up with all this attention that he’s receiving.
In an instant, Legend’s there, stealing back the small infant and clumsily doing his best to smooth such sharp cries. Yes, it’s difficult and nerve wracking to become a parent, especially for the first time, but to see all of your efforts throughout the years take form into such a beautiful and amazing being of pure innocence…that’s the most rewarding adventure yet, something Legend’s clearly already beginning to realize himself.
Sky's been practically bursting at the seams all day - well, all week, to be more accurate - but today is especially special since you’re both expecting a visit from some of his closest friends, the other heroes of courage who haven’t been by Skyloft in far too long.
Seeing as their reunion has been so long overdue, it should be no surprise that your dear husband has been bubbling with eager anticipation all morning (long before the sun had even risen thanks to your shared lack of a proper sleep schedule). While he does genuinely miss his old traveling companions, a majority of his restlessness comes from wanting to share some exciting news about a recent ‘development’ in your lives, one he’s had to hold himself back from spoiling in their routine letters (which are shared far more often than in-person visits).
Before you can even process the knock at your front door, Sky is already darting across the room to answer it, matching the delighted smile worn by all the other boys. He eagerly ushers them inside, his impatience finally spilling over by this point, something he can’t help. As already mentioned, he’s been waiting for this moment for quite a while - and has dreamed about for far longer than a simple ‘while’.
You can only chuckle at how quickly you’re swarmed by curious eyes, the other heroes not hesitating to stand and kneel around your chair just to catch a glimpse of the tiny bundle you cradle. To say it took them off guard would be the understatement of a century. It completely knocked them off their feet to realize what you're holding and what Sky’s excitement has been all about!
It’s a baby - a tiny newborn with puffy cheeks and itty-bitty hands balled into fists! She doesn’t even look real, or perhaps this whole situation itself just doesn’t feel real. In the Chain’s defense, it’s been years since Sky and you announced your intentions of starting a family of your own. Unfortunately, your struggles in achieving this goal became no secret, and your friends had begun to slowly lose hope with you. They truly worried the day might never come which explains their complete awe now.
“Her name’s Azure,” You tell them, wiping away the tears that bubble in the corners of your eyes. Curse these hormones! Your daughter is already a few days old yet you still cry each time you see another’s reaction to her. Can you be blamed? It only solidifies the reality that this is, in fact, your baby. Sky and you are officially parents!
“Congratulations, man!” Warrior throws an arm over your husband’s shoulder and pulls him close into a side hug, “You’ve earned it!”
Sky shares his laughter with a shake of his head, his eyes immediately drifting to yours, “My wife deserves most of the credit. She’s the one who endured all those long and tiresome months to get little Azure here.”
“And you took amazing care of us both throughout every second,” You point out just as quickly with a gentle smile, “I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to go through this with.”
“Now we’ll have to start planning some playdates with all our kids. Let ‘em tire each other out,” Twilight points out, giving Sky’s other side a nudge with his elbow.
“Maybe being around Azure will get Hope to stop asking for a sibling for a while,” Hyrule sighs exhaustively.
“Yeah, no, that has the exact opposite effect. Trust me,” Legend huffs with crossed arms.
Wind’s hand pops out from somewhere in the back of the crowd, only seen as he eagerly tries to jump up and down to gain attention, “Oh-Oh, Tetra and I can babysit if you ever need it!”
“I didn’t think she even liked kids?”
“She ‘likes’ kids, she just doesn’t like being ‘around’ them,” Wind rolls his eyes at Legend’s comment as if the reason isn’t obvious, “But she said she’s been wanting to get better with them to practice the whole ‘being a nice princess’ thing -”
“- All of that can come later,” Time swiftly interrupts the wandering conversation, “I’m sure as new parents, these two would appreciate rest above all else for now. There’ll be plenty of time for playdates later down the line.”
“We’ll definitely set some up once Azure is old enough,” Sky chuckles in agreement before kneeling by your side to help fix the blanket around your sleeping daughter. Although there’s quite a bit of time until then, the idea of finally being able to participate in such arrangements is exciting to you both. No more standing on the sidelines feeling out of place with your hearts’ yearning. You’ll finally be able to share the joy all of your friends feel.
“You both look like happy parents. Congratulations,” You preen at Time’s compliment, looking to each other through tears in your eyes which then drop to Azure who snuggles closer to you, blissfully unaware of the effect she already has on your hearts as she merely enjoys the comfort of your loving embrace. Your most special treasure, indeed…

HI! I love your work, your pretty awesome at writing. If your taking requests, maybe a fic where reader is turned into a bunny? Pure fluff and instincts <3 -Tulip

Woah a triple request?? Crazy. Insane, even. But i’m actually feral for all the bunny!reader fics floating about and i’d be MORE THAN GLAD to throw in my two cents. This is going to be two parts because it’s already gotten too long… soooo
Synopsis: Legend’s beloved is mysteriously missing, meanwhile you’re just making a house from scratch. (burrowing)
Cw: Cannon-typical violence
It was not unusual for Legend to be pissed
off.
So not unusual in fact, that the chain didn’t really question as to why exactly he was so on edge. Perhaps another one of his nightmares. Maybe Wind stole another of his rings and plotted just well enough he couldn’t actually accuse the little thief.
For all they know there was just one too many rocks under his bedroll or stabbing in his boot.
Or maybe, just maybe, it was because you were nowhere to be found among the their —admittedly quite sloppy— camp.
No one even questioned why or how exactly it was that you sapped the sour out of their sassiest brother in arms (they’re reluctant to admit it in the first place, the title is apparently incredibly sought out among heroes named Link) But, it was… some troubles out of their hands.
At least when you’d comply.
Make no mistake. No matter how wholesome that sounds, there was still plenty of chaos between the two of you. There were still plenty of sticks stacked on Sky’s head while he was sleeping.
And that time Warrior’s hair was ginger for a solid week after you both conspired to switch his conditioner.
And the many, many, many items stolen. or- ahem “used as a learning experience” to both his fellow brothers in “securing their valuables” and teaching you “slight of hand”
It was pickpocketing, he was teaching you how to pickpocket.
Under it all though, they understood that, to some extent, this was how he showed his care. In enacting schemes with his lover, and providing entertainment to his brothers with said schemes, or even begrudgingly reminding them to keep better track of their items, He was reminding them —all of them— that he loved them. In his own way.
But there was something distinctly… off. About this. This was no scheming plot, or bad mood, or rough night, or anger at some many mild inconveniences.
No.
“Uhh… Leg- ‘re you alright?” Legend practically jumped in his skin, his eyes focusing in on the rancher in some crazed, wild way.
“M’ Fine, mind your business” He forces himself back into that sassy sneer, eyebrow raised in perpetual judgement. But the panic is clear. His leg is shaking and when he thinks the attention is off him again, a ringed
hand runs nearly obsessively through shaggy hair.
Time sighs, getting the attention of a few and looking out among the group, counting under his breath.
“Vet, where’s-“
“Out for a walk.” Legend cuts, somewhere between challenging a counter and attempting to cover something up, like a child saying they didn’t know where the cookie jar was.
Was there even a jar?
Are you sure? He wouldn’t know where you are, despite him always looking for you.
Time sighs, heavy and too tired to care.
“Alright, well. Go find them, take Twilight, and when you’re done go restock on our potions. The prices here are probably higher than usual given the whole war going on” The rancher nods, crossing his arms and leaning against the table Legend was sitting on. The latter can feel the heavy stare of his brother, already set on prying a confession out of him.
The blood in his ears blocks out Time’s words as he sets up the rest of the assignments, only catching that Warriors’ group took on most of the small chores since it was his castle town and he knew best.
Legend tries his best not to panic. Fear wouldn’t help you, not right now at least. Not with all of that fear of your own.
It was his fault.
He should’ve been faster.
Should’ve protected you.
Should’ve taken the hit.
He’s delt with this already.
He’d be fine.
He’d gladly take this hit if it meant you didn’t know the pain.
The bones cracking and reforming as muscles stretch and snap, the inhuman agony of your joints sliding past what your ligaments should allow and sinewy tissue-
“Legend!-“ Someone smacks him upside the head, causing him to yelp and bring his arm up to smack whoever it was.
“Lie all you wan’ bu’ this? This ain't “fine” He catches legend about to argue, “and I ain’t jus’ gonna min’ my business while you sit here spirallin’” The vet found it within himself to just roll his eyes as he slid off the table, his body feeling awfully warm despite the only fires being set in the inn were the candles. Even then, they were those tiny tea lights.
He stretches and tries to seem nonchalant as he attempts to recall which forest it happened in, his eyes almost glazing over. He walks in a trance, not really keeping an eye to stay out of the foot traffic and roadways. Guards still litter about the eastern gate, making a fuss out of the apparently rabid animal they needed to chase out of town last night.
He struggles back an argument when a woman lemmants that they didn’t just kill it. He suffices for a shaky breath. He thinks you’d be awfully proud of you saw him.
“You sure they’re in ‘ere?” The rancher pauses apprehensively, his brows furrowing.
“Mhm-“ At least- he hopes. You run awful fast already, let alone when you’re scared for your life.
“Alright then”
𖦹
The leaves don’t crunch under their boots as they might’ve a few months ago. Late Spring rain dampened and softened the leaf litter, a soft shuffle the only audible noise stretching between them. The trees are spindly with new growth, few actually fully grown, with those grown marred by the fire of an invasion. The leaves filter out soft sunlight, dappling the forest floor with little dots that danced as a breeze sways the tawny branches. He hopes you can see the beauty. He hopes you aren’t dead.
“So what exactly-“
“Something happened-”
The two spoke at the same time, Legend stopping abruptly.
“Uh- alright. I can work wi’ that” Twi nods, clearly not expecting anything even close to a confession out of him. Legend just wishes the ground might swallow him whole.
“There was uh- We were outside last night… y’know, just having some time to ourselves…”
𖦹
“Do you even know where we’re going?” The forest was alive with lightning bugs and crickets chittering in the humid night. It was serene and beautiful, largely untouched by the war-horror the Captain seemed to think infected his realm. The night was calm, or maybe it was just that you always felt safe with your lover by your side.
It was hard to feel unsafe around Legend.
“Do you ever stop asking questions?” He smirks, chuckling as you huff your frustration. Ever since he dragged you from the plush of an actual bed, you’d been asking questions.
Legend isn’t the type to run blindly into things when in your company, especially not into a forest, at night, without informing his brothers.
“I so,” He looks self-satisfied, having won- “When I get answers.” His face falls comically, akin to a cat tricked into having a bath.
“You have no patience.”
“And you do?”
…
It’s quiet, the only sound aside from literal crickets between you both is the solid shutter of cicadas.
And then howling laughter.
You stumble into each other, half hunched over. His arm settles across your shoulders, keeping you both decently on the path. And when you both finally find it within yourselves to calm down, his arm doesn’t leave.
With grin still heavy on his face, he whispers, just for you to hear.
“I love you.” It knocks you almost breathless, his face so close and eyes so soft. There’s none of that anger and angst you remember from when you met. No fear in loving, it anymore.
“I love you too.” You kiss, properly kiss, without someone shouting for you to get a room for the first time in what feels like a stretch of forever.
He leans into you, the arm on your back guiding you closer, yearning in that gentle way. You want to scorn the world for beating this softness nearly out of him. His other hand settles at your hip as he pulls back to let you breathe. You jump at the sudden cool metal of his rings, the both of you sharing hushed laughs. You feel like teenagers who snuck out in the night to have just one more moment together; all mischief, the sense that nothing else matters but right now.
It’s just you and your lover, under the blend of late spring and early summer stars.
“C’mon, we’re almost there-“ He hassles, the arm around your shoulder dropping to wrap around your hips, his hand returning to your side as he continues into the forest. He’s so unburdened in this moment. But he feels like he always is with you. He doesn’t quite understand it— what inexplicable quality you carry that puts him at ease— but he’s not one to take it for granted. Not in a world that seems so cruel.
The tree line thins and breaks to a small clearing, dotted with wildflowers, the stars lighting what looks like waves of long wild grasses. And in the centre, a small blanket stretched out already.
“But you never left- how did you?”Your brows furrowed, your smile betraying any actual bite in your expression. Legend was by your side from day’s beginning until end— there was no way he could’ve managed to set this up. He smiles, leading you to the snap little star-gazing set up.
“Apparently the traveller found it a few days ago on one of those walks he has. Called in a favour so we could actually have an evening” He swaggers, much in a similar manner to the captain whenever he’s feeling particularly confident. It’s amusing— how similar they are despite being at each other's necks every two minutes.
“Oh, so you can be organized” You lightly jab, moving to settle on the blanket. It’s more plush than you suggested, the long grasses adding extra cushioning.
“The fuck’s that supposed to mean?” He huffs, offended in his own melodramatic way.
He knows you’re right, and he can’t fight you lest you stop organizing his bag. You throw him a long glance, questioning if this was the hill he wanted to die on.
Truth be told, he never had that habit of organizing which one would hope for in someone who collected so impulsively. He’d nab any item, weapon, accessory, enchantment, spell book, bottle, or knick nack he stumble upon, they may be useful at some vague “later”, but he’d never actually, y’know, organize.
Even if “later” ever did come, he’d probably either forgotten he’d nabbed the item entirely or couldn’t find it to where it’d be useful.
He was a kleptomaniac and a hoarder, not an archivist of any means.
He sighs, conceding the argument, but not his ego.
He struggles down onto the blanket, eventually laying half over you, chest to the sky. It was some implicit, instinctual trust that he’d freely bare the most vulnerable parts of his body (the soft of his organs, his heart and lungs behind their ribs) when around you. You’d keep them safe.
You’d keep him safe.
Soft high-pitch giggles fill the clearing and float through the soft wind, but he doesn’t feel the familiar tremors of your laughs. His brows furrowed and he lifted his head and turned to look at you. You’re seemingly bewildered as well.
“Bro you giggle like a little girl” You nearly burst in laughter, hardly keeping it in at your seams, “What in the- I’ve never heard you laugh like that” You shake your head, words breathless, seemingly unable to comprehend this new information.
“That wasn’t me.” He states plainly, hoping you catch on to the caution in his voice, but it seems you don’t notice.
“Really the best cover you got? Dude-“
He grabs your shoulders, demanding your attention.
“That wasn’t me.” His voice is hushed and his eyes are already trained in the tree line, eating to see who or what is watching them. Hopefully it was just a guard on patrol, Wars did say the area was regularly patrolled.
Silence stretches between you.
There’s wind combing through the long grass. A fox shrieks, dashing behind the knoll. The white of its tail a pale, not quite lemon, yellow. Far too bright and far too vibrant for cool moonlight.
Lantern fire doesn’t lick at the trees.
There’s no footfalls. No shuffling.
There’s the soft chiming of bells, accompanied by a flurry of childish giggles.
“Shit!-“ You duck to cover him in the long grasses and take the brunt of whatever it was that was out there.
And in an instant you’re gone.
He scrambled to sit up, taught panic drawn to its limit.
Something lets out some sort of a whimpering squeak, shoved to the ground as he throws himself to his feet.
“What did you do.” His voice is firm. And calm. More calm than his brothers or the legends might tell of him. He knows, logically, the wizzrobe doesn’t understand what it’s done or what he’s saying. Clearly. Or it wouldn’t be curled up in the air, cackling, as he lunged. In fact, it sits in its childish fit of laughter until his sword buries itself in its cloaked mid.
And it shrieks.
It’s a piercing cry of a child, unmistakable to anyone who’s ever had to witness a tantrum or meltdown.
Methodically, he digs his sword deeper an deeper again, not stopping until the frightened thing within him can accept that it’s dead
With a poof, it’s gone.
Away with the wind and rendered nothing.
And he’s alone. Alone with that nearly characterising grief. The type that threatens to burn anyone who comes near.
Everyone, but of course, you.
And Now you’re gone.
Missing. You’re missing. He can’t let go yet. He can’t give up. He has to get you back.
“Hylia I swear on this cycle of you actually took them from me-” He spins on his heel, searching for movement, a sound, a body. Anything.
There’s an expectant thump behind him, and he twists over himself to look down at the… rabbit?
No— Too tall. Too crazed.
The glowy moon reflects in a large, glassy yellow eye. They’d make the finest beads if they lost the implacable quality of wildness.
Two tall ears perked up at him, it’s
head tilting as it rose onto hind legs.
“What the actual fuck do you want from me.” The words come easier than they should, given the love of his life, his love, is missing and he’s being stared down by a hare.
It goes back on all fours and looks up at him with dull, unimpressed expectation, thumping one of its back legs against the ground in frustration.
He looks down at it, bewildered.
It sits for a moment, calm and certain. Uncharacteristic for a frightened animal like a hare. It pushes upwards from powerful hinds again, steadying its paws on his knees, dulled nails pressing into his trousers. He scoffs, readying to step back before it struggles out a hellish sort of grumble that stops him.
“Ok- what! What could you possibly want from me?” His hands betray the anger in his voice, moving to fiddle with the ring you’d given to him, kept safely on its chain. He looks down, his eyes their own sense of crazed and panicked without you.
Or so he thought until he saw the power bracelet he’d “lended” (hylia knows he doesn’t just lend things) to you still upon what was once your wrist.
Your dearest really was slow to follow at points.
“Love?” He worked through the word slowly, crouching down until he was sat. You curl into his lap, trying to find a cozy spot. His hands are slow and careful, as to not spook you, while he picks you up. One hand wrapping around your front two legs and chest, the other around your back legs, holding you to his chest. Selfishly, he squeezes you, calming himself.
“Is this really you, angel?” He whispers, timid. All the fear of having lost you hitting now that you’re back. Your little face nuzzles against his chest, all too calm and cozy for a wild rabbit.
“Oh thank Hylia-“ Well that’d be the first time he’d said that.
He steadies himself, mumbling apologies and soothing words, trying to convince the both of you that everything is ok. He knows it can be fixed, but he also knows that it’s incredibly painful and not something he’d want to volunteer you to go through. His mind isn’t even allowed to work through the possibility of going back to the Inn, let alone every other possible decision before you’re interrupted.
Guards.
Three young knights in polished armour, holding a lantern into the field.
“What are you doing here!” One of them yells, and Legend can’t conjure an answer. Not while his heart is fluttering and mind races.
“Sir! You need to stand up and walk towards us. We just want to know what happened! We heard screams in the area” Another shouts. Legend curses his juvenile fear of them. But no matter how long passes, he’s still afraid of the knights. He rises on shaky legs, pressing kisses into your fur and trying to convince you to calm down, your heart fluttering in turn with his. He walks, dreadfully, as if to an execution block.
And he trips.
You hit the floor with a smack and bolt, running as fast and with little thought. The third of them gasps.
“It’s magic! It has an artifact and an aura” The third begins pursuit without much genuine thought to his theory.
“Must’ve done something to the little girl screaming!” The other two say in unison, as if that makes any amount of logical sense. If it weren’t so terrifying, he might’ve made fun of Warriors for such shoddily trained knights in his supposedly so well kept guard. He vaguely collects one of them yelling at him to stay where he was before sprinting off.
𖦹
“So, My lover turned into a hare.” He sighs, his fingers putting pressure onto the ring on its chain, savouring each clack as the ridges slide past the links.
“That’s rough buddy.”

#2 Chain x Space Orc! Human! Reader - Body Swap
Part 2 includes Legend, Hyrule, and Twilight Part 1 ✿ Part 2 (you are here) ✿ Part 3
Duck. Dodge. Punch. Repeat.
The wizzrobe before you was growing incredibly frustrated. Most of its spells seemed to simply glance off of you with no effect. Others simply stung, leaving angry red marks where they touched your skin. You socking it in the face repeatedly probably just upset it further.
You were different from your traveling companions. Your ears were round. You had never wielded a sword. Magic seemed to have no effect on you. Oh, and you could bench press a Lynel without breaking a sweat.
Link swung his sword, slashing at the wizzrobe’s back. The thing cried out, flying up toward the ceiling of the room.
How had it gotten like this? The chain had entered the dungeon together, but now it was only you and Link. You hadn’t even seen them leave. You had been talking with Link, and when you turned around, the rest of the chain was simply. Gone.
The wizzrobe muttered something to itself in its strange language. It held its hands in front of itself, and you realized, perhaps too late, that it was chanting something. An orb of dark energy appeared between its palms. You didn’t even have time to think when it flung the spell at Link. You just knew whatever it was would be bad news if it hit him. You sprinted towards him, trying to get between him and the spell. Unfortunately, you were just a bit too slow. The energy hit your back, but you weren’t able to shield Link completely. You aren’t sure where it hit him, but right now it felt like your bones were on fire.
You screamed, falling to the floor. Behind you, the wizzrobe snickered, and you heard the damned thing teleport away. Great. Groaning, you got up. You muscles screamed at you in protest, demanding a break you couldn’t give them yet.
“Ugh, stupid wizzrobe,” you sigh before deciding to check in on your traveling partner. “You okay?”Your voice sounded weird. Had your ears popped? Man, that spell had hurt.
Legend
The room feels strangely quiet now. You look around, only to find a second you in the room with you, lying face-down on the floor nearby. Your heat jumps into your throat as they lift themselves up on their elbows. Before you can ask who they are (and why they have your face), an utterly filthy series of curses, insulting the wizzrobe, the dungeon’s architects, and the absent chain, falls from their lips.
You know exactly who that is.
“Legend?”
“Yeah?” He rubs his head. Well, your head, but you suppose it’s his for now. He hasn’t looked at you yet, but you can only assume that if he’s in your body, you must be… well.
“Try not to freak out.” Your request is met with a puzzled look, followed by another string of curses as he jumps to his feet. His hand moves to where his sword should be… only your outfit doesn’t have a sword (the flimsy Hylian metal bends in your hands). So much for not freaking out.
“Y/N???” He sputters your name, flabbergasted, then winces. “Ack. Why is the room so echo-y now?”
“What are you talking about?” You strain to listen to the room. It’s still almost eerily quiet. You can’t quite place it, but you feel an emptiness in the air. Like something is missing.
“That!” Legend clutches his ears, trying to block out the noises of the room. “Every time we talk it echoes in the room about a million times! And there’s a pounding noise that won’t stop! How can you not hear that?”
“Wait… what’s the pounding noise sound like?” You ask hesitantly. You have a sinking feeling that you already knew the answer.
“It’s kind of like… da dum… da dum… Like a drum or something.” He keeps his hands clasped tightly over his ears.
“Oh. Oh!” You realize what was missing. Why the room felt far too quiet. “You have my hearing now! You can hear my heartbeat!”
“You can hear people’s heartbeats!?” His cheeks turn the slightest shade of pink at the revelation. Unfortunately, his own voice echoes off the walls of the room, causing him to curl into himself, tightening his grip over his ears.
“Shoot. Sorry, this is gonna take some getting used to.” You pat his back. You remember how hard it was when you had first come to Hyrule. Everything seemed louder and sharper and smellier. Not to mention your strength.
“How on earth can you deal with hearing everything all the time?” Legend groans, his voice quiet in an attempt to spare his poor ears.
“Here,” you pull the bag on his back open just enough to fish around inside and grab what you need. You slip the headphones over his head, and almost immediately he relaxes. “I use these to sleep sometimes. They block out some noise, but not all of it.”
“I am never yelling at you again,” he adjusts the headphones on his head, ensuring they properly cover his ears. “This is pure torture.”
“Oh! That reminds me!” You reach into your new bag. The magical trinkets Legend carries around glitter inside. You pull out the first thing that catches your eye: a red stick with a ball on the end. You have no idea what it does. “Now that I’m not human I can use these things!”
“Hey! Those are mine!”
“You took my body, I take your junk, you hoarder!”
“Y/N!”
“>:]”
Hyrule
Your entire body is buzzing, as if you had rubbed your socks on the carpet and then touched a piece of metal. That wasn’t good. The spell had hit Hyrule, too, and he hadn’t responded to your question yet. You turn to look for him, only to come face to face with a terrified-looking copy of yourself.
“Ack!” You jump backwards, fists ready for a fight. As if responding to your panic, the static feeling intensifies. The other you scrambles to their feet and tries to grab something off their back. When their hand finds nothing but air, they pause, shooting a quizzical look over their shoulder. Then they look down at their clothes and squawk in surprise.
“Y/N?” The other you asks. Against your better judgement, you nod. “Umm… look down?”
You do as the other you asks, only to discover something horribly wrong: you’re wearing Hyrule’s clothes.
And skin.
You are Hyrule now.
“What!?” You look at the other you. “Hyrule?”
He waves sheepishly. “The spell must have swapped our bodies. Don’t worry, this kind of magic usually wears off on its own.”
“Darn it,” you slump your shoulders forward. You liked your body. Hyrule’s was pretty good, but you’d much rather look at his than be in it.
“Sorry,” he gives you an apologetic smile.
“It’s not your fault,” you drag a hand down your face. The buzzing in your veins continues. “Your body just feels weird. It’s all tingle-ly and stuff.”
“Tingle-ly?” Hyrule repeats, puzzled. Unfortunately, you don’t have time to explain further as the wizzrobe makes it’s presence known again, laughing with glee as it teleports beside you.
Without wasting a moment, you punch it, just as you had been doing before. You hand connects with its face, but this time, pain explodes out from your knuckles.
“Owwww,” you wince, holding your injured hand close to your chest. That’s right. Fragile Hylian bones.
“Hyah!” Hyrule holds his hands out towards the wizzrobe.
Nothing happens.
Suddenly, his eyes widen and he looks at his new hands with a growing sense of dread. “I can’t feel my magic at all.”
That was to be expected. Most magic didn’t seem to affect you, which also meant you couldn’t use it. Still, for Hyrule, being separated from it, even for a short period of time, must have been strange.
Wait… if he had your lack of magic… did that mean?
You snap your fingers experimentally, sticking your tongue out in concentration as you try to mimic what you’d seen Hyrule do dozens of times. A small spark of electricity dances between your fingers.
“Sick,” the smile that makes its way on your face can only be described as deranged. You turn to look at the wizzrobe, who appears to be slowly backing away from you in fear.
“Y/N?” Hyrule asks. The magic thrums in your veins, the static feeling intensifying in your hands as you call forth more electricity.
“I’ve always wanted to try this,” you giggle. Then, you chuck the ball of lighting from your hand directly at the wizzrobe. It falls to the floor in a pile.
“Woah! Careful, don’t use up all my magic!” Hyrule warns.
“Aww, but it’s so cool,” you pout. “I’m never going to be able to do this again! Can’t I have just a little fun with it?”
“...”
“Please~?”
“...Fine.”
Twilight
“I’m alright,” Twilight mumbles. His voice sounds… different. You turn your head, trying to look at him, only to get a face-full of something hairy. Your heart skips a beat as you try to attack whatever animal suddenly attached itself to your face. Your arms feel heavy and sluggish as you throw the creature to the floor. When you finally get a good look at it, you realize it’s not an animal at all. It’s a pelt. Specifically the one that Twilight is supposed to be wearing right now.
“Dang. I didn’t think my fashion choices offended you that much,” he laughs. His voice still sounds weird. You spin on your heel to face him and find, not Twilight, but yourself looking back. They smirk and wave.
“...Twilight?” You ask. You’re afraid to know the answer. When he nods, you’re only left with more questions. You decide to start with just one: “How?”
“I’m guessing the wizzrobe swapped our minds,” he shrugs, as if this were only the fifth weirdest thing he had seen that day. “Weird. I thought magic didn’t affect you.”
“Swap?” You look down. Sure enough, you’re Twilight now, complete with green tunic and weird pinecone-looking necklace full of dark magic. You reach down to pick up the cloak that you had so violently discarded a few moments ago, wrinkling your nose at the wet dog smell that greets your nose. It takes more effort than you expect to lift it. Strange. Twilight looked muscular enough. Were Hylians really that much weaker than humans? Still, it was strange that the spell had affected you at all. You try to respond to Twilight’s statement, but the smell wafting from the cloak distracts you. “Must have been a pretty powerful spell– I’m sorry, but when was the last time you washed this?”
“I washed it… recently,” he refuses to meet your gaze, and you can practically hear the sweat drip down the back of his neck. You raise an eyebrow at him.
“I’m using this as an opportunity to do your laundry. Smelling you from across camp was bad enough, but how can you live like this, man?” You pick at his tunic (well, your tunic, for now). Somehow it also smells like a wet dog. Actually, now that you think about it, maybe Twilight’s body is the thing that smells like a dog, because the scent seems to cling to you in an almost unnatural way.
“You cannot smell me from across camp,” he blushes, offended.
“Yes, I can,” you grimace, still examining your new clothing. Did he roll through a mud puddle? No, it hadn’t rained in a while. Where did all this dirt come from? “One of the perks of being a human. Sensitive nose. And ears. And eyes.”
“Huh. Now that you mention it, it does feel like when I’m in wolf form,” he sounds surprised. Oh yeah, his wolf form. Is that why his body smelled like a dog? Surely, he bathed since last transforming, right?
“Glad it’s you and not one of the others, then. Can you imagine the cow Legend would have if he could suddenly smell Wild,” you snicker. Twilight looks shocked for a moment before breaking out in laughter.
“Oh man, he’d never shut up,” he chuckles, but the expression looks alien on your face. You already miss the way his nose would scrunch up when he laughs. Hopefully this swap would be a short one.
“Maybe it’d finally make Wild bathe,” you muse.
“Unlikely.”

you arent in the chain, and it wont be described whether or not the links have met one another or yet! very open, just your preferred link coming home to you being clingy! there's some angst in some (cough wild cough) but nothing too bad!
all variations of the reader are around the same age as the link, excluding Wind!
general thing, all characters are minimum 18 yo and are all in established relationships (besides wind, who's like 14 and therefore has a platonic relationship w/reader)
hope you enjoy!
for the sake of ease of this, no separations for red, vio, green, or blue sorry yall
four is exhausted when he finally gets home
hes been working all day, and then there were some errands he had to run, and..
ugh. hes exhausted
so, when he finds you all curled up in bed? oh he has NEVER been so tempted to just curl up in your arms and beg you to hold him
he knows by now he doesnt need to ask to be held but man
four manages to refrain, though, and drags himself to bathe first and throw on some loose nightclothes
as soon as he's clean though?
oh this guy is just collapsing on top of you and the bed
it disturbs you and your sleep, but thankfully by this point youre definitely used to him being this tired
he'd had an unusually busy day though, so unlike normal when hed roll over and the two of you would just loosely cuddle, four latches onto you, face buried against your neck
it wakes you up properly, and so you peak your eyes open
you aren't opposed to cuddling your boyfriend, obviously, so you wrap your arms around him and just hold him, content to go back to sleep
four is, also, very happy with this. he relaxes and melts against you slowly, a soft sigh escaping him before he slowly drifts off to sleep
hyrule's had a wonderful day, surprisingly
hes managed to avoid SO many monster run ins, found some new plants, and is entirely unharmed!
and you know what makes it even better? coming back to his and your little makeshift home to see you cooking
he loves, loves, loves when you cook
are you good at it? bad at it? doesn't matter. hyrule LOVES your food because he loves you, and thats just how it is, he doesnt make the rules
he's smiley, and giggly, and he wraps his arms around you as best he can while tripping over himself
thankfully youre not in any danger of getting hurt as he knocks the two of you to the ground
you laugh and it's his second favorite thing in the world, second only to your kisses
he's thrilled as you guys shift so that he's straddling your waist, cupping your face, calling you petnames, and kissing your face
it makes you laugh more, which makes him kiss you more, and it just repeats the process
eventually you get him off of you and go back to cooking, but he hangs off of you in one way or another as you cook
if youre the type to get annoyed by things like that when youre cooking, he'll just shift forms and lay on your head until youre done
as you guys eat, he's pressed against your side and bouncing with energy
hes just in a GREAT mood and you get to see the full brunt of it
if whatever you made is sweet, bet on him getting even clingier
he doesnt do clingy
he DOESNT
except he hasnt seen you in a long while, and hes missed you so much
what else was he meant to do?? not tug you into a hug as soon as you got inside the door?
he'd gotten home earlier himself, and had been rather bummed to see you not home as well
what do you MEAN you had errands to run??? he doesn't believe it
still, he doesn't complain
he just hugs you and rocks back and forth.
he's sore, and tired, and he'd really like to lay down with you. maybe take a nice, warm bath, properly relax for the first time in who knows how long
but he feels like he's been a bit starved lately, and he doesn't want to part from you
especially once your own arms are around him and squeezing gently, a kiss pressed to the side of his head pairing well with a soft welcome home
he kind of wants to melt against you, but he knows that'll make his soreness worse, so he gives a vague noise of agreement and squeezes you back
for now, he's content with this. cuddling and getting cleaned up can come later
unlike legend, i get the feeling hes normally clingy, so this doesnt really make too big a difference
he's just been working all day, and when he gets home he does his normal little routine with you
kisses, head to set a bath up, more kisses, getting undressed, more little kisses, bathing quickly, kisses, getting dressed... kisses
he's a bit smitten
its when you guys are in bed that his clinginess is apparent
normally he'd just loosely throw an arm over you, half asleep the second you two are laid down
when he's feeling needy and extra affectionate, though?
his arms are wrapped tightly around you, and it's kind of a gamble on if he lays on you or if he has you lay on him
either way, he doesn't fall asleep. he just lays there with you, and he'd probably ask you to play with his hair
idk he seems like the type to like his hair played with, so if he's laying on you, you do
if youre laying on him, he wont ask you to play with his hair.
instead he'll just kiss your head a lot
he will, eventually, fall asleep like that
when he's genuinely feeling clingy, it'll bleed into the next day in little ways.
you have things to do? well, suddenly he doesn't and he's trailing around after you all day like a lost puppy
He has things to do? ....nooooooo
the two of you probably live relatively close to lon lon ranch
he helps out there, you're a baker for commission, and so at the end of the day your link tends to come home gross and exhausted
there has been many, many times you've come home to see him passed out on the couch without having bathed or anything
either way, today had been decidedly worse than usual. everything seemed to go wrong, and he really really just wanted to lay down and hide his face against you
so he gets inside your home, kicks his boots off, sheds his outer layers haphazardly (you'd get on him for that later, he knows, but he doesn't care right now, he needs to just have you in his arms, please)
the sun's low in the sky, and he knows damn well where you are
so he goes into the kitchen, wraps his arms around you, and buries his head in your neck.
your movements stutter, before you hum, melting back against him, and oh how wonderful that is.
he lets you work, arms around you and moving as needed, until you elbow him gently and tell him dinner's done
you end up turned around in his arms, pretty much spoon feeding him, and then (after you've eaten as well, Time's not going to let you go hungry) time takes you to bed
he lays on top of you, and this was something he'd taken a while to become okay with, and plants his face firmly in the crook of your neck
you wrap your arms around him, holding him, and everything feels okay
he has been working ALL day
he gets home, grunts as he takes his shoes off, and then goes to clean up
it's not late in the day, admittedly. sun's hardly setting
the second he sees you, his arms are wrapped around you and he's half melted against you
you two sway from side to side for a while, quietly holding one another
while his sudden hug throws you off, you arent opposed and stay there with him
it takes you two a while to stumble towards the bed and get laid down
you can TRY to extract yourself, but he will pull out every trick in the book to prevent that from happening
if you manage to get away, suddenly there's a wolf tugging you back by your shirt, or curled around your legs as you work, whining pitifully
if you give in to the puppy eyes, you're his captive
if you don't he gives you the silent treatment (very ineffective when he's wrapped around you, and in your arms, and clinging to you, and-)
training new recruits pisses him off sometimes
he cannot believe he was once like THAT
either way, within the span of five minutes of being home and stripped down to more comfortable clothing, his arms are under the hem of your shirt, wrapped around you
his head's buried in your neck, and it takes him a moment before he melts against your back
he definitely stands there as you do whatever it is you're doing yapping about how much he missed you
he's done for when you turn around and wrap your arms around him as well
if his day went even slightly worse, he tears up and his face is promptly hidden against you in some way
you two end up showering together, because he does NOT want to leave your side, and then you two curled up in bed together
when he gets like this he prefers to hold you. if you REALLY want to be the one holding him instead, though, well.. he's always been a bit weak to your wants
its always after a nightmare about his memories, or when he gets a new one back
he's always kind of off a little bit when they happen, and he's learned over time that your presence helps
of course, it doesn't help that he's coming home late tonight, tired and worn out already
and you're playing with this blonde little girl - the daughter of a friend of yours. you're bbysitting, he assumes
but the sight of the girl makes his head hurt and vision foggy in a way he knows means there's a memory imminent
so he sits down, heels of his hands pressed to his eyes. he doesn't even process when you move around, the little girl put to bed in a guest room
suddenly he's back, leaning against you and hiccuping through his sobs
he tells you about his little sister, how wonderful she was, how much of a menace she was (theres so much he wants to know about her but he cant remember it yet, and he doesn't know if he ever will and-)
it takes you a while to get him to your guys' room, but you manage and get laid down with him laying on top of you
he falls asleep to your heartbeat and dreams of a little girl who loved the harmonica
he's been away from outset with the chain for SO long, and he hasn't seen you in even longer
he misses you so much it isn't even funny anymore.
and it doesnt help that he keeps panicking when he thinks of you
he knows youre older than him, that you can take care of yourself (and aryll) just fine, but he's still worried something might happen to you and the rest of his family while he isn't there
it's silly, and it's stupid. even when he was in his own Hyrule, after his adventure, he was hardly home anymore, preferring to sail with tetra and the crew
still, the second he realizes that they're in his hyrule, and on outset island, he absolutely books it home
and there you are! sitting with aryll and playing a game with her, and you both look fine
and you both light up when you guys see him, and he can't help but tear up
it isn't long before the rest of the chain stumbles along after wind and finds wind attached to you, face pressed to your side, and aryll on your hip
he doesn't even let you out of his sight for the first day theyre all there
(he is like this EVERY time they all make it to his hyrule. he misses his little family, sue him!!)
Yall tell me why this took me FOUR DAYS to write out??

A/N: Cause I'm in a soft, gooey mood. I'm thinkin of the Links being married.
~~ Imagining Wild smiling so softly down at a letter, looking so love-strucked yet yearning at the same time. Of course, one of the boys called out to him in a teasing way, wanting to know what got him all head in the clouds like their fellow skyloftian knight. He huffs softly and replies with a voice filled with longing, "My spouse wrote me a letter, basically wishing me safety and sweet dreams of them to soothe me."
~~ First normally kept to himself about his s/o, wishing to keep them safe during his time in prison for 4 years. Pushing you away from Demise's grasp with one last kiss, as he headed off to fight hard and long til his last dying breath. Only to reawaken in a coffin, tumbling out and wondering where he was.
His first thought after was wonder of if you were alive and kicking. He rubbed his left ring finger in a panic, sighing in relief when the metal met his skin. The impression of your bright, sweet smile soothed him, made his heart beat fast until the sound of a screech reached his ears.
~~ The look on the chain's face when a body slammed into Legend was hysterical yet made him shy under their wide questioning gazes. He wanted to squirm out of your hold, only to halt when those eyes, filled with tears of relief and love made him melt on the spot. He softly sighed and rubbed their head while exchanging gentle words between them.
The ring on your hand made them choke in surprise; so those rings on his hands are for distractions, huh?
~~ Hyrule kept his ring on a necklace under his tunic, away from sight due to conflict. His head was always threaten to be on a pike, didn't help when he carried all three pieces of the triforce on the back of his hand. He was constantly hunted, he worried they would come to find you if they were to ever find out he was married to you. Yet alas, he would be found by Legend with him sitting there, idly messing with the ring around his neck, a far off look on his face and a gentle smile. Of course, the veteran was going to be curious of whom caught the dear traveler's heart.
~~ Four watched you idle around the living room, gesturing a flick of your wrist to who could lay where without the worry of stepping on somebody. He stares with his chin in his hand, smiling softly as you jabbered on about something to one of the Links. The colors laughed when you bickered and bantered with that Link before silencing at the sweet smile you quickly flashed over to him alongside a wink.
He covered his face with his hand, flushing red at the laugh that echoed in the home.
~~ Once again, he had his head in the clouds with a dreamy smile on his lips. Sky clutched the letter close to his chest and heaved a tranquil breath, his ears flapped wildly, almost imaginary hearts fluttered and popped around his head. Some of those groan, while the other laughed and shook their head at the lovesick expression on the skyloftian's face.
He raised the letter above his face, pressing a gentle kiss against the ink on the bottom of the page then one to the ring gracing his finger.
"I'll be home as soon as I can, my love."
~~ He was so giddy to be home. As one could be, he was always the composed and conscientiousness captain, but when given the opportunity to reunite with his love. Warriors is practically floating down the path to his shared home that the group is struggling to keep up with his rampant pace. He can't help himself! He needs to smooch his spouse! It's a crime to him to be away for this long from them.
The look on their face when he entered the house with a flourish yell of their name, made his heart soar.
~~ Time chuckled when you fussed over Twilight, tucking him in before glaring at the male when he tried to protest. His descendant looked at him with a silent plead for help, only to slump when the old man shook his head and made an 'x' symbol with his arms. He knew that butting in would not protect him from your glare too.
He rather walk straight into a pit of lava than face your glare head-on. Though he melts at the passing thought of you tucking your future child in, sternly telling them its bedtime and that rest is important. He makes his way over, pressing himself against your back, lacing his hand with yours and placed a kiss against your forehead.
~~ He was already suckered from the day you first played together when you were both children. From the shy glances to the shared giggles, to the sleepovers and to the shared secrets. Twilight knew he had to have you as his spouse when you jumped into his arms and kissed him without a thought after he saved Hyrule.
Even as he stared up at the night sky during his watch, he could still remember the sight of you walking down the aisle with a shy yet giddy smile on your lips. He rubbed the ring back and forth as the memories took over his mind, making the time go by fast til he was tapped out by the next watch. He falls asleep easily when his head hit his pillow, with a faint smile on his lips.
~~ He felt smug when the chain jaws dropped at the sight of him running towards his spouse yet ignores them as their squeals and giggles graced his ears. Fierce swung them around softly in the air before slowly lowering them in his embrace, holding them by their waist, closing his eyes and pressing his forehead against theirs. He purrs at the hands that cupped his face, sweet yet butterfly like kisses gracing his skin that soothe the ache that grew in yearning for their touch.
He felt them move away the white strands away from his forehead, placing a kiss against the blue 'v' shaped mark there. He retaliates by placing one against the ring on their finger before opening his eyes to them. Feeling himself melting in their ever so loving and gentle gaze, "You still look radiant, my dear jewel."

Man, I love the trope of aliens being terrified of humans, and I've seen some fics of human!reader reacting differently to stuff like posions/plants in hyrule, but this is in another level! We are indestructible! I mean, I could live on Death Mountain! With the Gorons! It's literally a dream come true!
Also, the urge this would give me to give them all the hugs and piggy back rides whenever it gets cold/windy/whatever extreme condition.
If Hylians would be surprisingly light, would they be light enough for me to pick up Time? Just get that big ass man with a bunch of armor on my back? Because new need unlocked.
NEW NEED UNLOCKED INDEEEEDDD. (touches my fingertips together like a villain up to no good)
CREDIT FOUND!! (Who did it first!):
IDK who it was but someone mentioned in a rlly old 2023-2022? LU x human reader post abt the hylians being lighter in comparison to humans!! If i find who it is, or if u recognize u wrote abt smth similar pls leave a comment so I can @ you!! /gen

☆
A kinda 2nd part/expansion to this post!
no bc the “i can live wherever tf i want” was secretly part of why i wrote that post (so sue me, i wanna be able to follow wild around his hyrule w/o getting nuked)
OMFG SO GLAD SOMEONE WANTS TO TALK ABT HOW AFFECTIONATE YOU’D GET BC OF THIS TOWARDS THE LINKS (anduseitasanexcusehahai mean what? whatd i say??)
There’s only 2 types of Links in this hyrule(s):
Who’s already down with being cuddled at the slightest/not so slightest inconvenience??:
Wild
(unsurprisingly, also if anyone teases him he just teases right back that not only is it “for survival”, but also look he’s “getting Guide Cuddles™️ and You’re Not” lmao,
would sleep right up against ur bedroll every night if u let him, likes when you commit to the cuddle (even if he goes a little red), like wrapping arms + legs around him, adores fireside cuddles, has said on multiple occasions that nothing makes him feel safer than holding onto you, and how he can’t go back to doing things like this on his own anymore 😭😭😭
his favorite cuddle is whatever you give him LMAO u can always count on Wild if your ever feeling like u need to cuddle smth blonde and cute lol - he constantly offers or initiates it himself <33 )
Sky
another unsurprising one, his favorite time to cuddle is when it’s cold outside, or windy, and he can just get under a blanket and take a nap with you,
esp if it’s both and he can convince you to lay partially on him for heated + weighted human blanket purposes, he’s literally staring at you with sparkles in his eyes as soon as a breeze goes by lol
his Loftwing/Crimson wasn’t rlly able to fly u long distances u find out!! :( Hylians are just so light that ofc that explains why they can ride these pelican/ostrich creations for hours, whereas the bird can only rlly manage 20 minutes of low flying with you (+ Sky) on its back, but that’s fine, bc u figured out how to “shield surf” rlly fast down slopes to keep up with Sky flying low, and by “shield surfing” i mean, shocking Wild into jaw-dropped silence as he watches you fly by completely barefoot 👍
(after all, ur skin has to be pretty tough/thick to be able to handle the weather/environmental conditions, and finding out u can withstand lava? yeah this is nothing turns out)
secretly loves piggyback rides, but never asks, u just see him get this look in his eyes, and shuffling in place just behind you lol
Wind
touch starved, but what Link isnt lol
his favorite is piggyback rides, since he was raised by his grandma, and there weren’t a whole lot of close, young adults to pick him up as a kid
so now, he takes FULL advantage of u being able to easily pick him up lol
one time u guys were going uphill while a pleasant breeze was blowing-
actually it was gale force winds.
but ur you, so it took Wind flying backwards into you to realize. he also screeched at you for “ABANDONING ME- YOURE GONNA MAKE ME, A LITTLE GUY LIKE ME, CRAWL UP THIS?? HOW COULD YOU-” you give him piggy back rides whenever it’s windy.
will treat u like his own personal ship whenever ur both in the water, which consists of him yelling sailor terms like “turn starboard! raise the sails!” while sitting on ur shoulders while u get slammed (gently buffeted, really) by waves
Hyrule
shy, shy, shy, shy-
the quintessential:
“👉👈 🥺 is it okay, if we maybe hug rn?? I'm just rlly cold, and i know u said you didnt mind, and I saw Wild and Sky just laying on you, sorry if this is weird-”
Hyrule, sweets, you literally love him more than life itself, of course you’ll cuddle the fairy boy
the more excited he gets = the more likely to jump on ur back/wrap his arms around ur waist happily, esp since he’s an extra cutie patootie and will subconsciously seek u out if the environment gets a little rough
Sets an Amazing example for the other Links, not too clingy when ur busy, great at latching onto ur back when things get tough for him, asks politely and thanks you everytime he gets down <3
Hyrule is eternally fascinated by whatever u do, u just walk thru flood waters like it’s nothing and while the rest are used to it by now, he’s the only Link looking at you like your some kind of god 💗💘💖💕🙈
accidentally squeezed ur arm muscles one time when he saw u doing that thing where u curl ur arm and Wind/Wild were able to hang off of it,
you both just stared at each other for a solid minute before his ears turned down and he went completely red and apologized profusely for 5 minutes, before you just scooped him up too lmao (his face after tho)
Four
depending on the cuddle he gets shy sometimes, even worse if more than 1 Link is looking at you two, in which he will attempt to escape ur arms.
keyword being attempt.
you just wrap ur legs around him and trap him instead lol
likes to cuddle you somehow where he’s not in the way but you can keep doing whatever it is you were busy with
if he splits, then u can fucking bet Red is the first to dive into ur chest- unless there is literally, actively, a threat right in front of him, he’s going for it lol, Green loves to wrap his arms around one of yours and just hang off u all day, Blue will wait until ur sitting somewhere and flop on ur legs to purposely trap u there, the little shit, and Vio just likes hugs. he’s such a sweetheart, he just loves being wrapped up and wrapping you up 🥺
And who must be Convinced. (most to least)
Legend
fully expected,
silly man thinks he’s above love and cuddles, and all the good things in life LMAO came for ur throat again
it'll be below-freezing temperatures, in a cave with a barely there campfire, a blizzard outside, the other heroes complaining at him to just get under the blanket so you’ll get under the blanket,
bc you two are just doing that thing where 2 characters have like a table between them and are fake-out dodging left and right to try and catch the other lmao
is most susceptible to cuddles when he’s tired/injured/sick/sleepy.
it’s a cold morning and u just scootch the Links into a pile and use him as a pillow lol, and as long as no one, not even gods, perceives you two, he’ll let you stay
ok but you definitely caught him from falling into lava one time while on Death Mountain, and had to bridal carry him across half a lava lake back to shore, hehe,
Legend swore everyone there to secrecy on their own graves and favorite items
also refuses to let Ravio know of ur human advantages lol
he just wants the attention on himself as much as he can in between the other Links, no need for more competition
Time
silly man just doesn't think of his needs including affection/emotional comfort,
he only rlly initiates when the circumstances are dire, like gale force winds that he can barely walk thru/starting to slip, desert heat getting to him thru his armor and needs ur cooling touch, etc.
he keeps it as professional as he can, like wrapping an arm around ur shoulders, but you just snatch him by the waist and pick him up half the time, was surprised at first, chain giggled at him, then complained lightly, finally just accepted his fate anytime he touches you lol,
YES you have given him a piggyback ride, when a flood of water burst a dam during a battle/the other Links got out but Time didn't bc of his heavy armor,
so u yoink him up and just stood ur ground against the raging waves and climbed a rock until u weren't submerged anymore, poor guy was so worn out from the battle + the flood that he just let you carry him all the way until u camped for the night, and secretly took a nap 😭
like Legend he can be convinced to rely on u when he’s already vulnerable like sleepy/tired/injured/sick, but he does find himself secretly appreciative someone in the group can just lift his heavy ass in full armor/or someone else if it gets bad enough,
got converted and no longer has to be convinced usually, he just doesn't initiate much so u have to lol
Warriors
YET ANOTHER SILLY MAN!!
whats with all these idiots neglecting themselves, both physically and emotionally??
like boy u cant stand the heat of a desert or blizzard, just let in the cuddles 👹
similar to Time, just more vocal abt how appreciative/advantageous it is to have someone to be able to carry comrades out of harsh conditions or battles easily.
Did Not think abt this applying to himself until you literally swept him off his feet like a classic damsel in distress- mans let out a shriek after taking a second to process everything LMAO-
Loudly and Dramatically complains abt u coming to cuddle him, both just to love on him, and to heat him up in a rainstorm, but hugs you back and holds onto you anyway hehe.
Became the 2nd person to find out you’re immune to lightning.
See, everyone heard Legend talk abt u getting struck in a storm in Wild’s hyrule, but no one really came to full terms with it bc they didn't see it. Warrior is now a full believer. He actually got the closest to pissing his armor he ever has in all of his battles bc he forgot abt the metal in the storm = bad idea, until it was too late and u guys were trying to retreat to regroup, bc there were too many black-bloods, only to get full body tackled by you to avoid getting hit by lightning.
You had to bridal carry him for a minute after bc u just got back up after being hit, (it just felt like you rubbed ur body on the carpet and touched a metal wall, like a full body small static shock) bc he was in such a state of literal horror/shock,
Wars saw your life flash before his eyes 💀
Twilight
HA HA HA- HE NEEDS THE LEAST AMOUNT OF CONVINCING LMAOOO
goofy wolf man has wolf instincts that help ur case as to Why You Need to Pet Twilight’s Hair and Hold His Hand at All Times if Possible.
main reason Twi’s here is bc he thinks his height + weight = him not needing u to hold onto/cuddle as much, and he would be proven wrong HA
actually gets all blushy/shy anytime u pick him up, freezes like a puppy who’s gotten scruffed too lol
likes a lot more casual touch/cuddles, like arm around ur shoulder or his, sitting with legs touching, leaning against u when he’s cold, etc.
omfg funniest thing abt Wars/Time/Twi is that they’re the tallest out of the Links, so they make for extra fun when picking them up, cuddling etc.
but the best thing ever happened one time when Twi was still recovering from the Shadow’s wound, it got reopened/ached so bad he couldn’t run, but u all were trying to retreat at the moment bc Big Boss,
and u just snatched him up into a piggyback ride, his legs comically sticking out, but the best part was that Hylians are light.
so you were able to run full tilt adrenaline powered run, to the point you surpassed the other Links ahead, and had everyone laughing and simultaneously trying to conserve their breath to keep running LMAO
Twi grew up tall/bigger than kids his age, and is another victim of “no adult figures to pick him up when he was younger”, so he gets this little giddy smile when u pick him up lol <3
the first time u put him in a bridal carry for smth like river rushing waters, mans blushed, stuttered abt smth the whole time, and then didnt let go after you tried to put him down, u didnt have the heart to insist, so u just carried him around half of the day 😭
☆
sorry some have less than others, its nearly 2am I'm just riffing kicking my feet and shit, so I'm not being very thorough
i hope u liked my spiral into blonde twink insanity (well theyre kinda on a spectrum of twinkness)
anyway goodnight, and have a great weekend!!
to the 2 other ppl who sent asks, ill get to you soon and thank you sm for sending stuff :’)
Please feel free to send asks for requests or just to chat :)
Peace out,
🌙

the chain reacts to reader dancing belly dance like Shakira
that's all
aIt would be a good way to earn some rupees now that I think about it
Oh yes, that was so much fun to write! some were a little platonic, others not so much, Wind's completely, of course. Thank you for the request, I hope you like it!
The Chain needs money. That’s the problem we’re currently dealing with, and everyone thought of something they could do to make up for our lack of rupees. Some offered to search for rupees in the grass, easy but time-consuming. Others thought of offering their services in the village near where we were. The lack of money is so worrying that we can’t even pay for the inn, so we’re camping nearby.
I wanted to help too, of course, but when I tried to say something, they didn’t listen, saying that I didn’t need to worry, that they would deal with it. While everyone dispersed through the village, leaving me to “explore”, I decided that I would go against what I was told and get the money myself. Stubborn? A little.
In the end, there wasn’t much I could do anyway, I would get bored quickly. Rummaging through my things, I found the perfect object to use, which would allow me to at least try to get some rupees, while I could still have fun. I found a place where I could change into a belly dancing outfit that would also help to attract the attention of others.
While looking for a place to perform in the center of the village, I came across a man who was doing something similar to what I wanted to do, but with music. Taking advantage of this opportunity, I asked him if I could perform alongside him, using his music to dance to, which he agreed to.
Soon I was performing a belly dance, the sound of the coins on my waist synchronized with the music being played, and my surroundings began to fill with curious people, some of whom gladly helped by leaving a few rupees. Everything was going well, until I saw a familiar blonde approaching.
Four
The shorter man approached where I was performing, squeezing through the crowd with great difficulty. Finally, when he could see me clearly, his eyes widened in surprise.
I thought about stopping to explain myself, it was a bit embarrassing, but I was already very focused on this whole thing, and in the end, it was working. He moved closer to me, until he was right next to me, so I could hear him more clearly.
— What are you doing? What’s all this for? – He asked, so that only I could hear.
— I’m getting rupees! I had to do something to help with this, so I’m using one of my skills. – He opened his mouth, but nothing came out, his cheeks taking on a pink hue as he looked away.
— That’s... pretty clever, actually. But you don’t have to put yourself out there just for the money!
— It’s okay, I like it! And it’s been a while since I’ve been able to do something like this, so I’m having a great time.
He looked at me for a moment, looking almost indignant, but then he smiled and sighed.
— Okay, but I’ll stick around then, to make sure everything’s okay.
Hyrule
The boy walked through the crowd, confused about what all the fuss was about, until his eyes landed on me. The poor guy turned so red he looked like a tomato, he stood there, motionless, staring at me while I was still dancing. He stayed like that long enough to worry me, if he hadn’t reacted soon, I would have had to stop the dance to check on him.
He blinked rapidly, coming out of his trance, then approached me shyly, embarrassed by the attention he gained from the others for doing so. He used such a low voice that I had difficulty understanding.
— Hey, why are you doing this? Not that you don’t look amazing! You’re very pretty, I mean, you’re very talented, but why do this now?
The poor guy looked totally nervous. I imagine that in his era it wasn’t common to see women with such “vulgar” clothes, especially dancing in such a different way in front of several strangers. Or maybe that was only done by a certain type of women.
— Oh, I’ve managed to get us some rupees! Don’t worry, this is just an artistic performance.
That seemed to calm him down a bit, still without reaction, he went to a more secluded corner, where he could stay and wait for me to finish, so that I wouldn’t be alone.
Legend
— What the hell is this?
The blond man complained, not caring about the attention that was turned to him, he looked at me with a sullen face, judging me to the core, with his arms crossed, waiting for an answer.
— A belly dance performance. – That was all I replied.
— And for what? Are you trying to get the attention of the entire kingdom?
— No. I’m trying to make some money.
— Hasn’t it been made clear that you don’t have to do anything?
— But I wanted to, it’s fun, I was bored and wanted to help.
He snorted, but didn’t respond again, contrary to my logic. I thought he would leave in a huff, but to my surprise, the hero just stood there, watching me as I continued to dance. Well, I guess it’s okay to tease him a little more.
— Are you enjoying the view? – I said, with a mischievous smile on my lips.
— I am.
He said, making me gasp in surprise and even making me lose focus and stop for a moment, while I processed his answer, which made him laugh.
Sky
The hero of the skies emerged from the crowd, his eyes wandering until they stopped on me. He was visibly confused as to what I was doing, tilting his head to the side in doubt, until he approached and asked.
— What are you doing? – His tone was not judgmental, just curious and somewhat enchanted by the movements my body was making.
— It’s belly dancing, I’m performing to try to earn some rupees.
— Sounds fun! Can I stay and watch? – He asked, seeming excited about it.
— Sure, I’d love to have you here! – I replied smiling, his support made me want to continue even more, the activity that was already fun in itself became even better, because now my dear friend was there, praising and having fun with me. That thought made me blush, something I hope Sky doesn’t notice.
Time
One felt butterflies in my stomach when I saw the tall man there, in the middle of all those people, watching me while I danced without any shame. I automatically thought I would get a scolding for doing this when I was explicitly told that I shouldn’t. However, it had been more of a suggestion than an order per se.
The man in armor remained there, standing, watching me with a serious face while I continued dancing, trying my best not to lose focus with his gaze and end up making a mistake in some movement, which didn’t work out as well as I had hoped.
I considered the idea of stopping and getting out of there as quickly as possible, dragging the Old Man with me to avoid confusion, maybe that was what he wanted. Before I could finish this line of thought, I heard a muffled laugh coming from him, which caught my attention.
Time smiled at me suggestively, as if laughing at my nervousness, knowing very well that he was to blame for it. He then just walked over, bent down, leaving a few rupees in the small box I used for that, and left, without saying anything, leaving me more confused than before.
Twilight
I could see, out of the corner of my eye, the Rancher looking at me among the others, his gaze fixed on me, but he didn’t seem surprised or bothered, just interested in the dance.
Without worrying too much about it, I continued with my movements, following the beat of the music, moving my hips fluidly just as I had learned. But a part of me couldn’t help but ignore the presence of the blond right there, watching me like a predator watches its prey, which started to distract me more than I would have liked.
Twi approached, smiling sideways, getting closer and closer, until his lips were close to my ear and he could whisper something for only I to hear.
— It really is a mesmerizing dance, I would love to see it more often, in a more private way, though.
He spoke, sending shivers down my spine, and then walked away, leaving me standing there, frozen. I stopped the dance, too shocked to concentrate on it, as I watched him walk away from the place as if it were nothing.
Warriors
Shortly after seeing the Captain’s neatly styled blond hair, I could hear whistles and cheers coming from the crowd, with the voice easily unidentifiable as his. He continued to compliment me and act like I was some kind of celebrity, while giving me suggestive looks and laughing.
I just rolled my eyes, holding back my laughter as he continued to do his provocative antics, drawing even more attention to himself, leaving those around him not very happy with him.
Wars kept up this repetitive and annoying way, motivated to get my attention, but it was fun to watch him try, so I just let him continue while I danced.
It wasn’t long before the others started to get annoyed with the blond, telling him to be quiet, which didn’t do much good, so soon he was being kicked out of there, which he couldn’t help but get a good laugh out of me. He whispered things like “you’re killing it!” as he walked further away being pushed away by some men, which made me just shake my head, rolling my eyes with a smile, and continue dancing.
Wild
The Champion’s long golden hair came into my field of vision, drawing my attention to him, who seemed fascinated by my movements. He smiled, excited to see me dancing, and seemed to have quickly understood why I was doing this.
He applauded along with the crowd, when a song ended and I stopped dancing to catch my breath, then he approached me, with difficulty as other people did the same to leave their rupees.
— That was amazing, I didn’t know I could dance so well, that sounds hard.
— Yeah, a little bit, but once you learn it feels natural.
— Okay, you have to teach me how to do that later. I’d rock it in a gerudo outfit, and I’d make money on top of that. Oh, we could even dance together! – He suggested, excited about the idea, making me laugh.
— Sure, I wouldn’t mind having company. If you want to stay and watch, I’ll do it for a while longer.
He nodded excitedly, very interested in the dance itself and how majestic I looked while I was doing it.
Wind
The boy looked at me with a sparkle in his eyes as I danced, making me laugh. He approached me without caring about the others who were watching, very motivated to know more about the dance itself.
— Wow, that’s so cool! Can you teach me? Can I dance with you? What’s that called? – The blond asked me a lot of questions, while I kept dancing and smiling at his excitement.
— It’s called belly dancing, yes, I’ll teach you, and if you want to dance with me now, I’m sure it’ll be a fun addition, kid. – I joked, answering his questions and ruffling his golden hair.
He got excited, soon standing next to me and trying to copy my moves, of course, it wasn’t very similar, but he was having fun, and that was more than enough for both of us. And the people watching thought it was cute too, which earned us a little extra money, so it was all profit.

Dude dude dude happy anniversary!!!!
Also, Legend and they were roommates????
Thank you! I love the roommates trope.
Blackhole fantasy
Yes, that title is a reference to a crane wives song.
Have some cute legend x reader and they were roommates! (They make it everyone else's problem.)
You're halfway through making dinner when you hear the door open, followed by several unfamiliar footsteps and voices.
Your shoulders hitch as you take a steadying breath.
You take your chef's knife, gripping it tightly as you creep to the kitchen archway.
You peek around and narrow your gaze at the group of strange, heavily armed men.
If you could sneak by them to get to your roommate's weapon stash...
You take a step through the arche way only for the floor to creak and give you away.
You immediately hold the knife up as the whole group turns.
"What are you doing in my house?" You ask with far more confidence than you feel.
Realistically if this gets physical you are at a disadvantage.
"Who are you?" Asks the youngest.
A familiar figure pushes through the group until Link stands before you in his usual adventure outfit. He gives you a smirk. "No welcome home?"
You let out a laugh of relief, "Maybe if I saw you before the heavily armed friends you brought I'd have a better welcome home for you than a knife and suspicion."
Link laughs at that.
He crosses the space between you until he stands right before you. His face softens, eyes flickering over your form as he searches for any possible injuries.
"I'm glad you have the sense to not trust just anyone." He says, a soft smile playing on his lips.
You roll your eyes. "Why woukd I? Between you and Ravio there's people with bad intention knocking on the door twice a week."
He laughs again, "It's good to see you. You weren't here last time we visited."
"Rav told me about it." You smile, "How long are you staying?"
"No clue."
"I'll feed you and your friends, but you're on vegetable duty as payment."
He scoffs, "Why?"
"Because I already got my finger yesterday and I don't want to." You say easily.
"I can help!" Offers the man with the long hair.
You shake your head, "No need. Link is going to help as payment for making me do more work."
Link groans, but the quirk of his lips betrays him. "Fine."
You lead Link back into the kitchen before directing him on the vegetables to wash and cut for you.
He does, of course. He always does. You rarely ask him for anything hard. He washes and peels and cuts the vegetables while answer your questions about his latest adverture.
For a moment you can pretend this is more than just a roommate and friend arrangement. For a moment you can pretend it's sappy domestic bliss.
What would Link do if you turned around and told him how you feel right now? Would he return the sentiment? Would he kick you out?
What if it all fell apart?
Fuck, even in your fantasies you can't believe you'll get that domestic bliss.
Maybe you're even a little afraid.
Stupid feelings.
-------
"This is torture." Wind groans, on day three of watching you and Legend dance around each other like it's a ballet.
"This isn't torture, sailor." Warriors sighs.
"Feels like it." Wild pouts from his spot on the couch.
"It's not so bad." Sky smiles, "They just need time."
"They need a push." Warriors tolls his eyes.
"Into a closet?" Four offers sweetly.
"Absolutely not." Time says immediately.
Wind groans loudly. "You're such a dick."
"Language." Time sighs.
There's a shriek of laughter as you run into the house from the apple orchard with Legend on your heels.
"I'm going to tell them." Hyrule says immediately.
"Do not." Sky hisses.
You run to the kitchen with a grin, skidding to a stop.
Legend catches you when you over balance, "Easy, sweets."
"Time." Twilight groans.
You stare up into his eyes, and you decide to finally take that jump, heart beating fast as you stare up at him. Your eyes are wide as you allow yourself to act on the fantasy of love.
Legend furrows his brow when you reach out to cup his jaw. "What are yo-mph!"
You kiss him soft, gentle, and when he dosen’t reciprocate ypu pull back. Shame floods your mind -
"Get back here, I didn't get to kiss you." Legend breathes out.
Your eyes widen, "Link?"
The others watch with various groans as Legend leans in to kiss you.
"Roommates, my ass." Wind huffs.

Hey, saw your new story and I love how you write. Do you do yandere requests? If so, how about doing a Legend story paired with an isekai reader that looks shockingly like Marin? She fell into Wild’s world and tried to help him get rid of Calamity Ganon and now she’s stuck in a love triangle between Wild and Legend. Woe is her! /lh
Thank you!
Aaa, my first request! I'm really glad you liked my writing and I hope you like this too!
EDIT (like five months later mind you): So I've been neglecting this request because the only yandere content I've written has been wildly non-con and generally pretty frightening, but I think I've finally found a way to get the best of both worlds <333
Stuck Between a Rock and a Hard Place
Pairing: Legend x isekai!reader x Wild
Warning(s): Yandere behavior/unhealthy perceptions of relationships, dub/non-con, and smut (fem reader b/c requested)
Notes: FINALLY my first request has been finished. Rejoice my brethren
Masterlist
You knew they were watching you.
Dusk had barely fallen, the golden rays of the setting sun bathing the clearing in a thick tangerine light. The fire crackled as you unrolled your bedroll, gently patting it down and trying to ignore the twin gazes burning into your back, belonging to none other than Legend and Wild. While the reason behind their incessant watching eluded you, it was clear that they weren’t going to stop anytime soon.
You took a seat on the bedding, gaze flitting around the clearing as the other members of the chain prepared for sleep. Dinner–hearty clam chowder, courtesy of you and Wild’s efforts–had concluded minutes earlier, leaving you full and satisfied after a long day of traveling.
Not that you weren’t used to life on the road, having lived in Wild’s world for a good three years after waking up, alone and scared, in a grassy field–where you met when he saved you from a guardian. With nowhere else to go, you had joined Wild in his quest to defeat Ganon, though he hardly let you do any defeating considering your limited combat knowledge. The rest was history, as was your inexperience with a sword, thanks to another member of your rag-tag group, Legend. Once ornery and sarcastic, he had warmed up to you significantly quickly after you fell (literally and figuratively) into his world through, you guessed it, another portal.
But, as of late, things had been… strange. It was no secret that you and Wild shared a close bond from the years spent together, and while nothing had ever become of such closeness, you always felt that there was something more behind his casual touches and glittering grins, not to mention the way he always seemed to pout when your attention was stolen by something or someone else. It got particularly bad when Legend would sidle up to you during the long treks, claiming you were their “weakest link” in a snarky tone while somehow managing to be good company through the ordeal, though sometimes you wondered if the stories he told of his adventures were a bit… exaggerated. You weren’t an overly distrustful person by any means, but doing five separate dungeons in one day seemed excessive even for (one of) the heroes of Hyrule.
You suppressed another shiver as Legend’s gaze seemed to burn a hole through you, slicing past skin, muscle, and bone to examine your very soul. If his burned, then Wild’s seared, like you were a piece of meat in a pan.
It was for protection, you reasoned; weakly, pleadingly. There were countless creatures loose in the woods, and you were close to the treeline.
The campfire crackled. You wished it would grow tall enough to obscure you from their gazes.
Setting down the fabric, you patted your knees and stood up. "I'm going on a walk."
"'S gettin' dark, darlin'," Twilight said from his place against a nearby tree, casting a suspicious glance at the approaching night, brows furrowed. Wild and Legend's gaze left you for a split second, and you felt sick at the way they glared at the Rancher; united and divided in equal, terrible measures.
Several heads nodded in agreement.
You bit your lip. Fuck, he was right. You couldn't even use the excuse of needing fresh air because that was all you had been getting–you were in the middle of nowhere, for Hylia's sake!
"I'll go with you," Wild's voice cut through the still air like a knife. His eyes were bluer than the holy steel of Sky's blade, glowing with an almost otherworldly light as he studied you over the licking tendrils of the fire.
Legend dusted the skirt of his tunic-dress, boots crunching over the dead grass as he stood on two feet. Feet that could chase you down in the blink of an eye, and had traversed every nook and cranny of countless nations. "Me too," he spoke softly, with only a fleeting trace of his usual biting sarcasm. There was something devastatingly similar about both of them, and you knew there was no way you could back out now.
The bid was up, and now it was time to reap the rewards.
Your legs felt as wobbly as a newborn foal when you began to walk, knowing they would be two steps behind you. Past Warriors (concerned, eyes never leaving the hunch of your shoulders), Wind (oblivious, but not blind), Four (kaleidoscope of caring, not stepping in), and Time (the only Hero who could, though it was a long-standing debate on if he would).
The camp faded as you pressed on, guided only by the frenzied, rattled beat of your heart, and the last fading rays of the blazing sun through the rustling canopy. Fallen leaves crackled beneath your boots, and you felt more high-strung than a puppet. Wild and Legend's stares tore holes in your back, flaying your soul for their perusal and sending dreaded shivers down the metaphorically-exposed bones of your spine.
A huff of breath.
You shoved a lock of rose-red hair behind your ear.
Wild coughed.
The trees seemed to laugh at your cowardice.
Legend's age-ridden, joint-pained sigh was palpable in the chilled air.
Your heels stung from how quickly you whirled to face them.
"What the hell, guys?"
Both men froze. They were nearly shoulder-to-shoulder. United. Divided. Legend brushed a lock of strawberry-lemonade bangs behind his pointed ear, gaze measured, while Wild was the picture of the soldier he would never be: stiff, mouth tight, irises alight with an emotion you didn't dare decipher.
The Veteran's huff was gruff, far too casual for someone who watched you like you would disappear into thin air if he turned away for a mere millisecond. "...What are you going on about now? You scared of the dark or something?"
Your fists clenched at your sides, buried in the folds of your borrowed tunic. Was it Wild's? Legend's? You couldn't remember anymore. "I am not," you bit out, a bit harsher than intended. Then: "Is there something on my face?"
"You're perfect," said Wild without missing a damn beat. He blinked and rubbed the back of his neck with an expression that further convinced you that he would never be sorry. He was inching ever closer, as was Legend, and you wondered if sprinting into the darkness would grant you the modicum of space you prayed for.
Perfect? No. Petrified? Hell yes.
Crack.
All eyes snapped to the right, trained on the hazy treeline where the noise had emanated from. You couldn't remember the last time their gaze had left you, but the thought was quickly banished when a rumbling growl rattled the air, drowned out only by the loud shiing as Legend and Wild simultaneously drew their swords.
"Shit," you hissed, just as a gaggle of lizalfos drew from the wandering shadows. They moved like the predators they were; fluidly, without pause, eyes glowing gold in the firebright sunset.
Your heartbeat thudded in your ears when the first lizalfos lunged, lips peeled back to reveal hooked teeth that glinted in the tangerine light. Legend wasted no time parrying the attack with his sword, and Wild wasn't far behind, a hissed war cry slinking from his lips, pulled back to reveal a smaller set of canines that were no less dangerous.
The battle, if it could even be called that, lasted hardly a minute, with you standing to the side in a position that only enhanced the terrifying awkwardness of the situation. Heart in your throat, watching as your companions tore through the hoard like they were flies. Small, buzzing, annoying flies. It was no secret that they were strong–they were heroes, for Hylia's sake!–but there was something to be said about the feral glint in Wild's eyes, or the way Legend would look at you, blood on his hands, throat, sword, and not bat an eyelash.
You shivered, and not from the cold. An urge was building in your gut, not dissimilar from the kind you felt when confronted by an unfathomable horror. But it wasn't the same, not by a long shot.
The lizalfos fell quickly. Several carcasses lay strewn across the blood-soaked ground, slashed at the throat, belly, and face. Their eyes, lifeless, bleak, stared sightlessly at the star-speckled sky as blood wet the fallen leaves.
Wild and Legend turned. Simultaneously. United, but not together. United, but dangerously. United, but in love.
You ran.
Clouds of breath puffed in the chilled air as you tore through the forest, guided by nothing but your own, raging heartbeat. The trees melded into blurs of brown and green, branches stretching skywards like the twisted limbs of an eldritch creature. The ground crunched between your boots, and you could hardly find it in yourself to be mad about the obvious tracks your footwear left behind. Anything to get away, if only for a fleeting, torturous second.
Anything to breathe without the threat of one of them crawling down your throat.
Through the haze of adrenaline, you could barely make out the sounds of footsteps behind you. Barely make out the crazed, frantic huffs. Barely make out the fingers reaching, reaching, reaching for the back of your tunic.
Your heart damn near leapt from your throat when something grazed your back, then locked tight around fluttering fabric, and you were dragged backward, forced to skid to one of the most jarring halts of your life. A scream ripped from your throat, silenced only by the hand–heavy with fat rings, glistening in the faded light–cupped your chin and pressed your jaw closed, while a evergreen-clothed arm wrapped around your stomach. Legend's chest molded against your spine, fully trapping you in his vice-like grip, and you could only jerk uselessly when moist breath fanned over your neck, sending goosebumps skittering down the chilled skin of your arms.
"Why'd you run?" Legend breathed, tone heavy with the thrill of the chase. More breath hissed over your neck; soft, like a ghost, and just as terrifying. "We're just protecting you."
Moments later, Wild slid into the clearing; cheeks pink, hair a tangled mess that you just knew would be a bitch to brush out. He looked every bit the savage everyone joked he was and you hated yourself for daring to find that attractive.
"Damn, you're quick," he huffed, a hint of a pout infecting his tone. Blood dotted his cheeks and neck, and you didn't even want to look at the mess on his tunic. Damn Champion, always finding a way to make a mess out of himself.
Legend's arm tightened around your midsection, and he pressed his face into the junction of your neck and shoulder, unbothered by the thin layer of sweat soaking your skin. Something warm and wet darted to slick over your flesh, and you damn near bucked him off, a startled yelp slipping past your lips, zinging against the heat of his hand and dizzyingly-opposing chill of the rings.
This couldn't be happening. You were in the middle of nowhere, for Hylia's sake! With nothing to your name but a small knife and the clothes on your back. "L-Let me go!" you tried to hiss, but it came out garbled, the sound blocked by the thick fingers slotted over your mouth.
Legend's chuckle vibrated against your back. "Not a chance," he spoke calmly, with a smile you could almost see, and Wild was suddenly in front of you. They pressed close, closer than you had been with anyone, much less two crazed men with weapons that could end you in less than a second.
"You'll be safe with us," murmured the Champion, gently brushing the hair away from your sweaty forehead. He couldn't have been more than a few inches away, leaving you free to study every inch of his grinning face for hints of the mask he so obviously wore. What else was beneath those eyes–bluer than the sky, bluer than blood?
At long last, Legend's hand left your face, moving to splay at the base of your neck, only to be replaced by Wild's thumb. The Champion's calloused skin brushed over the plump of your bottom lip, dragging it a millimeter down to reveal the barest peek of hidden canines. He pulled back, letting the flesh pop back to cover your only true weapon in this situation, and leaned impossibly close. "Pretty," whispered the Hero of the Wilds with that sick, delicious, terrifying gaze.
"Very," whispered Legend, and you were momentarily shocked that they were capable of agreeing at all.
Wild's head ducked, nose brushing your cheek as his body molded to yours, chest to chest, stomach to stomach, abdomen to hardness--
Your thoughts snapped to a screeching halt as you registered the distinct... appendage pressing against the flat of your gut.
Fuck no.
Without warning, your head shot in a downward arc, smashing against Wild's nose. The hero yelped in pain, jumping back as he clutched his nose, streaks of crimson already leaking to stain his skin and tunic. Legend's grip loosened, likely in surprise at the sudden action, and you wrenched free, stumbling away from the two men, panting harshly. Well, that's what you would have done had a hand not sealed around your wrist like a manacle, yanking you into Wild's tight embrace. His nose was bleeding profusely–he really ought to have that checked out–but the look in his eyes was nothing but... was that hunger? The fuck?!
"Nice try," rasped Wild, arms curling around your back like the limbs of a tree. Unyielding, binding in ways that made you want to set something alight. The Hero of the Wilds leaned close, close enough that the blood from his nose began to drip on your skin instead of his. "Didn't know you were into that, Princess."
Outrage replaced terror as you registered the bulge still pressed against you. "Are you getting off on this?!" you seethed, unable to believe what you were seeing– er, feeling, but it was all relative when his fucking dick was pressing against you through his trousers.
Wild licked his lips, and, coincidentally, some of the crimson blood leaking from his likely-broken. He offered you a smile, and you shivered at the reddish tint his teeth had taken on. "Can you blame me?"
You were appalled. "You're fucking insane."
"Takes one to know one," hummed Legend as he reacquainted himself with your back; hands on your shoulders, breath on the shell of your ear. His tongue darted to flick the soft point, and you hissed: "Get the fuck–"
"–on?" interrupted Wild with a shit-eating grin. It was the most normal expression you had seen him make since this nightmare began. "I agree."
Your cheeks burned, and you rushed to rectify the situation. "That's not what I meant and you know it–"
Legend's arms wiggled to your hips, gripping them through the fabric of your tunic and trousers. You could feel the evidence of his arousal pressed against your backside through that Hylia-damned not-dress, and it was starting to piss you off. Just who did they think they were?!
A droplet of crimson dripped onto your collarbone. Then another, until it was like someone had cried blood on you.
"You're bleeding," you pointed out in a tone dryer than the Gerudo desert. Just like your pussy.
"No shit," grunted Wild, though the grin remained, like he was having the time of his life. You could relate.
"Gross," you rolled your eyes, trying to distract yourself from the way they were all but rutting against you... and how warm your core felt because of it. No! Bad thoughts!
A yelp left your mouth when Legend delivered a sharp nip to your ear, hard enough that you wouldn't be surprised if your own blood had been drawn.
"Liar," the Veteran hissed, and you were mortified by the spike of heat that slithered down your spine. "You're enjoying this as much as we are."
"Fuck no," you snarled, hoping that your expression conveyed the sheer amount of disgust and contempt you held towards them. Behind you, Legend's eyes darkened. Behind you, the Veteran gave the Champion a subtle nod.
Your thoughts froze when Wild dropped to his knees before you, staring up at you with those big blue eyes that managed to be as innocent as they were poisoned. He glanced at the Hero of Legend again, and, before you could blink, there were hands at the waistband of your pants.
"What the hell?!"
Your first instinct was to jump away, but Legend's grip was too strong, holding you fast as the Hero of the Wilds worked your trousers and undergarments down in succession until they bunched just above your knees. 'Bare' was too easy a word to describe what you felt when the pads of Wild's fingers traced up your thighs, settling on the points of your hips, rubbing soothing circles that only served to spur your heart like a spooked horse. Pupils blown, hands shaking against your flesh. Was he nervous? Fuck.
"Stop, please," the words fell from your lips like a prayer. A plea.
The first touch against your pelvis made your gut clench, a hot, broiling warmth brewing in your belly. A whimper forced itself from your mouth, and you would swear up and down that it was merely a sound of despair.
"I'd do anything for you," whispered Wild against the skin of your stomach. Anything, but let you go, it seemed.
Legend's lips slid to the side of your neck, no longer hesitant as he slicked his tongue up the side of your neck, from base to ear. Tasting you, memorizing the flavor of your sweat for his sick purposes. "Good girl," the Hero of Legend cooed against moist flesh, and Wild's eyes fluttered shut, like he was the one being praised. You squeezed your thighs in a last-ditch effort to halt the insanity that was taking place before your very eyes.
Legend tutted, and a hand detached from your waist, wiggling between your legs with about as much difficulty as killing a chuchu. You yelped when his fingers immediately found your clit, pinching the small bud with enough force to make your thighs quake, creating the perfect opportunity for the Champion to slot himself between them once more, eyes wide and innocent and so, so wrong.
You were screwed.
Literally.
"Just relax," Wild cooed through the fog. Legend's hand returned upwards to secure you even more firmly in place, and the Hero of the Wilds took it as a sign to lean it, now a hairs-breadth from your core, which was uncomfortably, traitorously wet. You could feel the strings of slick against the skin of your inner thighs, the Champion practically purring as your scent washed over him in pulsing waves.
"I hate you," you spat. It was a lie, but he didn't need to know that.
Wild only hummed, his breath fanning over every inch of your lower half. You cursed every deity in existence at the realization that it felt good. "That's okay," he said, like your words meant nothing, or he had already called your bluff. He wiped a droplet of blood from his upper lip, then gripped the bottom of your thighs, forcing them to hoist up on his shoulders. "You don't have to like me to like this."
Without hesitation, he closed the distance, licking a broad stripe up the entirety of your cunt, from clenching hole to swollen clit. The hero's eyes snapped shut, and a deep, sinful groan rumbled against your folds. Your mouth fell open in shock, only snapping shut when Legend chuckled against your neck. The bastard knew, and he was enjoying it. They both were.
"Wild..."
It was hardly a whisper, barely a breath, yet Wild heard it. He always did, and always would. Your mind flicked to your journey together; before the others, before the madness, when it was the two of you against the world. What you wouldn't have given to have had him like this months ago, but now... now, things had gone sour, good intentions--if there were any to begin with--buried beneath a thick layer of sickly-sweet desire.
That's not my name, Wild's beautiful eyes said. You ignored it, squeezing your eyes shut so tightly that you feared you would never see again. Maybe then, things would be right. Maybe then, you could do this right.
But it simply wasn't meant to be. There were no heroes in sight when you opened your eyes, only two men. Two men with blonde hair and the most gorgeous lips you had seen. Two men who wanted something they could have had in a heartbeat.
A fat, wet tongue rolled along the puffy bud of your clit, slicking a (un)healthy concoction of your juices and his saliva onto the tender flesh. Your thighs trembled around Wild's head, and a small, sniveling part of you was glad he had maneuvered you like that, if only to avoid them seeing the way a few simple touches could have your knees buckling like a newborn foal.
You choked on a gasp when Legend rocked his erection against the curve of your ass, one hand roving up to cup your right breast through your tunic. Deft fingers teased your flesh through the fabric, eventually settling on the pebbled bump of your nipple, twisting and pulling it until you were squirming, chest heaving for a reason embarrassingly different from mere panting breaths.
"Fuck," you hissed, forgetting yourself for a brief moment. WIld's chuckle was light, and it was almost easy to sink into the protective embrace of dissociation. You could pretend his nose was broken for a different reason than self-defense. You could pretend his hair wasn't mussed from chasing someone down. You could pretend that he wasn't staring at you like you were only thing in his universe.
The Champion pulled back, his chin shiny with equal amounts of slick and blood. You didn't look down, not wanting to know how much of it had gotten on you, much less the way his tongue swept out to lick at the combined liquids. "That's the idea, princess," he told you, and you debated crushing his head between your thighs just to prove a point, though the bastard would probably like that. Weirdo.
Without another word, the hero dove back in, lips molding around your clit once more. He gave a strong suckle, and your hands clenched into fists, a moan threatening to bubble put from the depths of your body. You mourned the loss of movement, as Legend had seen fit to cage your arms to your sides with his own, rendering them useless. Wild's hands had moved to your hips, gently massaging the tense flesh as his lips and tongue worked tirelessly over your bud. He had always been dedicated, so it wasn't a surprise that that... personality trait would carry over to the bed– woods, because you were all animals now.
"You're so quiet," the Hero of Legend murmured against your neck, hands still worrying your breasts, pinching and plucking at random, horrifyingly-tantalizing intervals. There was a harsh twist; he hummed, while you cursed the whimper that slipped between your teeth. "I think we both know you can do better than that, Princess."
You don't know shit, you wanted to say, but Wild's tongue slipped inside you and the words died on your tongue, replaced by a sharp, keening hiss. Fuck.
Legend's grin could have cut through rock. "Thought so."
"Go to hell," you managed to spit, but he was unfazed. A hand gripped your chin, forcing you to face him. Blazing purple eyes regarded every inch of your flushed, panting face, and the Hero of Legend gave a chuckle that couldn't have belonged to anyone but a villain.
"Only if you're there with me."
His lips were warm when they met yours, much softer than the rest of him. Your eyes widened as he kissed you, gentler than you would have expected. A tongue slowly slid along the seam of your lips, and it was a shock that he seemed to be asking permission.
Fuck it, you decided.
Wild's tongue swirled in a tight circle, forcing a gasp to bubble from your throat. Legend swallowed your noises like a man starved, eyes fluttering shut as he bore your weight, kneading above your heart in a manner that you were only realizing the tenderness of.
Link, the Hero of Legend, kissed like a dying man.
Desperate, unyielding, passionate. What the fuck was this?
"I love you," he breathed against your lips, and the words were far too sweet to belong to someone so rough, so calloused. You weren't sure they belonged in anyone's mouth tonight.
In one swift motion, you wrenched an arm free, catching the exact moment his eyes widened, expecting a retaliation of some kind. What he didn't expect was the harsh thread of your fingers in pink-blonde hair, nor the harsher pull that brought his mouth back on yours.
The kiss was messy, full of tongue and teeth in a manner that was so unlike the first one. Because you were in control–
You caught his tongue between your teeth, nipping it hard enough that the faint taste of copper temporarily overrode all others, small pearls of red drooling from the corners of your lips, slicking the point of your chin, eliciting a soft groan from the hero. If he wanted to play rough, you were going to pay it back tenfold.
–And you were going to make sure they remembered that.
Your other arm was freed without hesitation, leaving Wild to shoulder most of your weight, while Legend ensued you stayed upright. Good, they could work for it. Within a milisecond, you had Wild by the hair, yanking him from your cunt without an ounce of gentleness. He whined, like a dog being denied a treat, and you let a small scoff fall from your lips, eyes focused squarely on the Champion.
"If you don't make me cum in two minutes, I'll find someone who will," the threat slipped out far easier than you expected. Maybe you were angry, or perhaps this was how things were always going to play out. Either way, considering it would have to wait, especially when he was looking at you like you held the world in your palm.
Wild leaned forward, tongue out, waiting for permission. All he was missing were some dog ears and a tail.
You gave a nod, keeping your expression dismissive, and he all but descended upon your cunt. Gone was the previous gentleness, replaced by hard suction and a relentless, firm tongue that lapped at your entrance with a speed that would have made anyone jealous. It was only when you felt something different prod at your hole did you give pause to wonder just what the hell you were doing, though not for long when Legend reclaimed your lips.
The first finger inside you was uncomfortable. The second, less so, but you still found yourself hissing into the Veteran's mouth at the intrusion. Wild stilled his motions, studying your face for any signs of true discomfort, and, once satisfied that there was none, he began anew with renewed ferocity, crooking his fingers against your gooey walls as his tongue slicked a steady circle around your clit.
You broke the kiss with Legend with a soft gasp, letting your head fall against the Veteran's shoulder as the Champion practically fingerblasted you into oblivion, a familiar pressure building in your abdomen. It never came this quickly, but you were far too out of it to care. It had been a tough week, after all.
Wild's finger began to pump inside of you, keeping a steady pace as they curled and scissored. He was putting himself to work, as was Legend, who you were certain had been groping your chest for at least five minutes now. "C'mon," the Hero of Legend murmured, delivering a nip to the shell of your ear while his hands busied at your breasts. "Cum for us."
Shut up, you wanted to hiss. If that didn't work, you could kiss him again, and make sure his tongue would never leave your mouth. Heroes didn't need to speak, right? Wild certainly managed fine with sign language on his harder days.
Your thoughts were cut short when the Champion's fingers curled within you, rubbing against that one spot with purpose. His expression mirrored an intensity you had only seen in battle, or creep-watching session, and the sight of such single-minded focus was, well... it was doing things to you. Terrible, wonderful things. Things that made your cunt clench harder, spasming around war-gnarled digits, and, when a third was added, your only instinct was to bury your face in Legend's neck, eyes squeezed shut as you fought to regain control.
"It's okay," murmured the Hero of Legend, like that would fix everything. Like he could just slap a bandage over your heart and head, and it would be fine again. "Just let go," he coaxed, eyes never leaving you for a second. You didn't register the wetness on your cheeks until it was licked away by the Veteran. Had you been crying?
There was a thrust from Wild's hand fingers, a sharp suck of his mouth, and the world melted away.
Every nerve in your body fired simultaneously as white-hot pleasure streaked through your being, igniting your flesh in what had to be the most intense climax your hazy mind could bother remembering. Maybe you were screaming, or the pressure in your mouth was Legend's neck instead of your tongue, but it was all relative when basic thought had become this taxing.
Boneless and spent, you collapsed against the Veteran. Thighs shaking, fingers twitching, chest heaving. The fingers retreated from your core with a soft pop, and a hazy whimper left you at the sensation, which mophed to a louder whine when the Champion's tongue pressed against sensitive flesh. He didn't let up, seeming hell-bent on cleaning the cum from your twitching folds with a fervor that really should have concerned you.
"S–"
Legend's hold was gentle as he eased you back to Earth, careful not to jostle the hero nestled between your thighs. If anything, Wild seemed to relish the change, his hands sliding beneath the fabric of your tunic to grip your hips while you squirmed, exhausted, against the Veteran's chest. One large hand took both your wrists, trapping them in his vice-like grip while his erection settled firmly agianst your backside. Fuck, you had nearly forgotten about that.
The Champion's mouth reaquainted itself with your clit, and you hissed as the pain of overstimulation shot through your core. Too much, it was too much!
You yanked against the restraining hold, but the Hero of Legend merely tightened his grip, head dipping to murmur in your ear. "Almost there, princess," like his dick wasn't actively rutting against your ass. "Just one more."
One more? Refractory period who?!
"Unless you want something more," he paused to let the words hang in the air. A finger traced up the length of your throat; slowly, surely, and so devastatingy unlike the way his hips rocked against you. "filling?"
A low hiss rose from the depths of your chest, and you would swear up and down that it wasn't out of need, or the way Wild's touch was starting to feel good again. These fuckers hadn't even given you room to breathe before they were at it again, and the only thing holding you back was the fact that your arms were too exhausted to rip their balls off.
"Hate," was all you managed to grit out. The word felt wrong on your tongue.
"Love," corrected Legend with a sweet kiss to your temple.
"Bite me."
"Gladly."
You yelped when his head dipped and a set of teeth sunk into the tender flesh of your shoulder, hard enough to break skin. Hard enough that you felt warm blood trickle down your skin before it was lapped up by a soft, slick tongue that definitely didn't belong.
Wild, having apparently decided that you had gone too long without acknowledging him, pushed his fingers against the throbbing entrance of your cunt. Your toes curled, heels digging into his back, but the Champion only groaned. He was merciful enough to leave your swollen clit to the mercy of the cool night air, focusing instead on spreading you beyond repair. You half-heartedly wondered if the others had gone looking for you yet.
"So wet," mused the Hero of the Wilds, and you nearly growled at the self-satisfied tone his voice had taken on. Asshole.
No thanks to you, you wanted to hiss. But you didn't. Who knows what kind of ideas they would get from a statement as loaded as that one.
A huff. Breath fanned over your nub. "You never answered his question," Wild hummed. He began to pump his fingers like they were a cock. In and out; stroke, curl, repeat. The accompanying squelch was nothing short of humiliating, but the Champion's grin only grew, and Legend continued to suck at your neck like a leech, though you knew his ears were perked in expectation. "Do you want his cock or mine?"
"Neither," you snarled with such confidence that you almost believed yourself.
The Heroes of the Wilds and Legend shared a glance.
"That's fine," Wild shrugged, like he was discussing what to have for dinner instead of which one of them was going to have you first. His pupils seemed to wink at you, so large that you could hardly see the blue of his irises anymore. Before you could blink, he had his hands under your knees, hoisting your lower half into the air as Legend fumbled with something between you. Something that sprung free as soon as it was released, slapping against the flesh of your cunt and forcing a startled yelp from your lips.
"You still have it?" Wild asked, thumbs caressing the sides of your knees.
Legend's eyes rolled, and it was the most normal thing you had seen him do tonight. There was more fumbling. "Obviously."
You blinked when a small yellow vial was tossed to the Champion, who caught it with his teeth. What the fuck? At your bewildered gaze, Wild shot you a wink, set you back down against the Veteran's legs--which moved in such a way that they prevented yours from closing--and popped the cap with his mouth, spitting it to the side. Then, he tipped half the vial into his mouth, not bothering to wipe the corners before slotting his lips back over yours. Your eyes widened when his tongue wormed into your mouth, the liquid following close behind. It was thick and sweet, with an undertone not unlike honey, though you were intimately aware of the fact that it wasn't honey. This was something new, something dangerous.
Droplets of golden liquid dribbled from the corners of your lips when Wild pulled back, treating you to another one of his self-satisfied smirks. Instead of downing the vial, like he expected, he took it in hand once more and tipped the contents directly onto your cunt, a healthy bit splattering the side of Legend's quivering cock. The Champion reached forward, massaging the surprisingly viscous substance onto your flesh with two fingers, taking special care to coat your clit in a thick, slimy layer. You whined and wriggled, the chill of the air contrasting with the warmth of his fingers and the liquid. "What the fuck, Wild?" you managed to snarl, but it felt weak. It was starting to get hot. Why were you so hot?
"Don't be scared," the bastard himself cooed. "It's just a tonic we swiped from Hyrule's time. You'll love it, promise."
You highly doubted that, but the time for thinking had apparently expired, because the second Legend's cock slid against your soaked walls, a moan that could have shattered windows erupted from your throat.
"Shit," breathed the Veteran, finally releasing your wrists so he could wrap his arms around your middle. He bucked his hips once more, and the head of his dick made contact with your nub. You groaned again. Loudly. Wild couldn't have looked more proud of himself. "You always like this, princess?"
"Hylia, I hope so," the Champion sighed dreamily.
Legend's breath ghosted over your neck as he panted; the tonic must have been affecting him too. Heat crept through your body, burning through blood and bone in search of your heart, your core, and your mind. It was so hot. Why was it so hot? You felt like you were burning alive.
You needed him. Them.
The jig was up, and you had bet on the losing side. You hadn't even bet at all, really, but none of that mattered when the only coherent thought you could hold was on how good they would feel inside you. How they would stretch you, take you apart like you were some kind of doll, and bring you back together in an amalgamation that not even a mother could recognize.
"Fuck me," you whispered, almost to yourself. Almost to whatever deity dared listen in. Legend's breath hitched. His cock pressed firmly against your cunt, and there were hands on your hips once more, coaxing you to rise, to make room within yourself for the Hero of Legend.
"Gladly."
All the air left your lungs when he pushed home in one smooth, uninterrupted thrust. Your head fell back against the Veteran's shoulder, fingers digging into his forearms for support. It was like your cunt had been set on fire, and every thrust stoked a fresh inferno within your depths.
"Good girl," he praised, beginning a quick, mind-numbing rhythm that had you all but drawing blood, writhing and crying like you were being murdered.
A new weight pressed to your front, and you barely had time to register Wild's appearance before he was kissing you. Reaching between your bodies to rub enticing circles on your clit, groaning into your mouth like he was the one being fucked, not you.
"You're so tight," Legend sighed, thrusting into you like he would die without it. His teeth grazed the bite mark on your shoulder, eliciting a full-body shiver before he bit down, drawing a scream from your throat. Wild swallowed your noises greedily, fingers flying between your legs with a ferocity that should have been terrifying.
The kiss was broken, and your blood ran cold at what the Champion said next; cheeks flushed, eyes like coals. "Not too tight for two?"
Fuck? Fuck!
Legend's teeth dug deeper as he slowed, still pumping in and out of you at a steady pace. He released you, and growled: "I'd love to see you try."
You were mortified at the throb your cunt gave at the pseudo-challenge. It was one thing to take a cock, but two? There was no way, no fucking way.
"W–"
But Wild's mouth was already on yours, tongue slicking against yours like a lover would, or someone trying to shut you up. Maybe it was both. His thumb returned to your clit, but there was something purposeful about the way he rubbed you. This was happening, you realized as soon as something thick and hot plopped against the top of your slit, a bead of shiny pre-cum leaking from the engorged tip. The preparation continued with a finger sliding into your cunt, joining Legend's still-moving cock, then another, and another, until you couldn't tell which way was up.
The tonic had certainly worked, though you would take the fact that you actually did love it to the grave. "Please," the word rolled off your tongue, ricocheting through the air, and you were unsure of who or what you were begging to. Wild? Legend? Both of them??
Legend and Wild were one and the same; two men, hellbent on destroying the sensible remnants of the person you were. You felt their desire through the Veteran's tender mouthing at your neck, and the way Wild splayed his fingers to ensue you could take him. The light of the moon bathed them in a ghostly light, accenting the stark differences in dress between the three of you. Where you were bare, clothed in only a tunic, they were in everything they set off with; pants pushed down, tunic-dress pulled up.
"Ready?" the Champion panted, cock grinding against your stuffed entrance, capturing your lips once more. You didn't know whether to kiss him back or bite his tongue until it bled. His nose had already ceased bleeding, but the flesh was beginning to swell in certain places. Setting it would be a bitch.
"Go fuck yourself," you hissed, a final act of defiance. A final cry in the roaring tsunami of heat.
"I'll fuck you," Wild promised, and, in one swift motion, he pulled his fingers from your cunt, replacing them with his dick. The world seemed to fall away when he pushed inside, blissfully slow to allow you ample time to adjust to the stretch. Legend had stilled, waiting for the Champion to sheath himself, and the three of you groaned in tandem when he finally did.
It was overwhelming, and all your thoughts scattered when the Hero of the Wilds gave his first thrust, sending shockwaves of pleasure skittering across your body like spiders. There was no time to catch your breath when Wild set a punishing pace; hard, fast, and unrelenting. Legend was more than happy to follow suit, fucking you like he had something to prove while you moaned and writhed, clawing desperately at Wild's shoulders for even a hint of stability.
"Please," was the only thing you could think to say, the syllables slurring together as they continued to thrust into you, alternating in a way that ensued you were never empty. A small bulge was visible through your stomach from the combined side of the cocks in you, and both men groaned at the sight, snapping their hips to chase the high that couldn't have come sooner. You felt like a star, glowing and primed to burst, scattering droves of stardust in your glorious, final ending.
Legend's grip tightened. Two finger descended upon your clit, pinching and pulling at the abused nub, and you were done.
Your vision flashed whiter than the sun as you came, clenching on the two cocks inside you like a vice, so bright and brilliant that, for a moment, you feared you had died and gone to heaven. Wild's hips stuttered first, and he slammed home, a rush of scalding wetness filling you. Legend wasn't far behind, practically growling in your ear as he followed the Champion's lead.
The clearing was silent as you came down from your high, collapsing against Legend's chest with an exhausted huff. Wild cupped the back of your neck, keeping your head upright. His nose was bleeding again, and it took several moments to register the slow trickle of blood against the skin of your neck.
"Are you okay?" the Champion panted as soon as he regained his breath, blue eyes roving your face for any flashes of pain or panic. When there was none, his back straightened from its pleasured curl, and you felt a pair of lips against your own; soft, comforting, everything you needed.
"Okay," you mumbled, not quite able to banish the oozing sensation of cum running down your leg from your mind. Your brain felt soft, stuffed with cotton, and it would be a long time coming before you fully came to terms with what the hell had just happened. More fluid leaked down your thighs, spurting out around the cocks still buried deep inside you. Eyelids heavy, you let out a sigh more suited to a middle-aged man having an existential crisis. Wild shared a glance with Legend, and the Champion scooted backwards, pulling out of you with a noisy squelch.
A glob of cum blurted from your pussy.
You closed your eyes.
You let unconsciousness take you.

So the smut was NOT supposed to happen originally, but I got really inspired by "Mistake" by Stellar and here we are. Please know that this writing does NOT reflect the views of the author (me). I think rape, or anything that circumvents someone's right to choose, is a terrible thing and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law, but this is a yandere fic, so...
Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed, and I sincerely apologize for procrastinating on this piece for so long.

Another Link Crushes On You || Part 2/3
Part 1 ||
Pairings: Legend, Twilight, Wind x GN Reader
Overview: You've known Link for years - Well, a version of Link. Neither of you have seen yourselves as being anything more than friends, although it seems not all Link's think the same, in fact when you're introduced to the Chain, one of the boys falls pretty hard for you. I spun a wheel to let fate decide upon random pairs this time. Needless to say, I had a lot of fun with some of them😁
Zelda Masterlist 💚 Fandom Masterlist

Legend isn't a big fan of Skyloft which is something he decided rather quickly upon arrival - and no, it has nothing to do with the cold, thin air or hair-raising heights, although he’s also not a big fan of either. His problem lies solely on the cheerful atmosphere created by this village’s inhabitants. It’s all too easy going and mundane to fit an adventurer’s heart. Too familiar and painful, to boot.
The others may think of him as aloof and, quite frankly, Sky might be a little offended, but Legend has no interest in exploring these islands or making friends with the locals. Never again. Instead of joining any guided tours or trading stories with inquisitive knights, he sinks into his own isolation, finding a quiet place to sit amongst the shore of Skyloft’s only large water source.
All by his lonesome, he’s free to find a good boulder to hide behind and tear away at his hair in a desperate attempt at calming his unsteady anxiety…That is, until he hears a sound - No, not a sound, a voice. A beautiful voice that doesn’t speak, but rather hums a delicate melody he’s certain he’s heard before, probably from Sky who has a habit of mumbling certain songs to himself while plucking his harp.
…And there you are, blissfully unaware of anyone else's presence by the lake as you approach the water's edge. Dropping a laundry basket in the sand, you carefully roll up your pant legs and kick off your boots, prepared to step into the cold water until you suddenly halt.
As if having developed some sort of sixth sense, you glance over your shoulder, quickly spotting the pink haired boy peeking at you from beside a boulder. The sight understandably startles you, yet despite how awkward this situation might look without context - what, to catch a total stranger apparently 'spying' from afar - you give him a kind, that be it nervous smile. People in Skyloft truly are too trusting for their own good.
"Oh hello there! …So sorry, I don't think we’ve met yet."
Legend sighs, realizing it would be creepier if he were to just ignore you. With his place of solace now ruined, he stands and dusts the sand off his tunic, "...That's because I'm not from around here."
"Oh?" You tilt your head cutely, likely confused as to what he could possibly mean, after all, where else would he have come from if not Skyloft? Looking him over, you take notice of his outfit, “Are you a knight? I see you have the uniform of one.”
The angel on Legend's shoulder begs him to be honest, after all there's no reason not to be. Naturally, Sky seems to be pretty well known around Skyloft, so maybe you wouldn't be too surprised to learn your local hero has become ensnared in another adventure, bringing home a handful of other heroes. You might even find Legend more interesting if he were truthfully, awed by the rare chance to meet someone outside of your own timeline...yet staying true to his own bad habits, he decides to dig his own grave instead:
"...Yeah, I’m a knight. I'm just usually really busy, so that's probably why you haven't seen me around, you know,” He explains boldly.
You furrow your eyebrows while finally stepping into the water, taking a handful of clothing items with you, "...Huh...I still could've sworn I knew everyone here, what, with the island being so small and all."
Legend cringes. He can't tell if you're simply speaking on your confusion or slyly catching him in a lie, although the uncertainty isn't enough to deter him, "W-Well, I don't live 'here' exactly. I live on one of the...outer islands - And I spend a lot of time there instead of here which would make it easy to miss me."
You give him a strange look that feels as if it could burn right through him, however you fortunately turn away before his heart can ignite, "...May I ask your name?"
"My...name?" He blinks as if that’s the strangest question you could’ve asked.
"I just feel a bit rude for never having noticed you before, but if I were to learn a name to put to the face, I doubt I'll ever walk past you again without a smile," And oh, how deadly your smile is, flashed over your shoulder so innocently, yet those eyes - They hold mischief behind them.
"My name is Li - Ravio. That's my name," Another needless lie...
"Li Ravio?" You repeat, not looking very convinced, "That's certainly...a name, alright."
"W-Well, I didn't pick it!" Yes, yes he did...
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean any offense. It's a unique name, that's all, but that will make it easier to remember," You laugh at his misery, your eyes crinkling with the action. You then introduce yourself, your name sounding vaguely familiar, although Legend's in too much of a daze to think of why, "It's nice to meet you, Li Ravio."
He bites back a grumble, already regretting his life choices up until this point. Seriously, if he was going to give himself a cover name and story, couldn't he have picked something a little better? You probably think he's a weirdo, just showing up out of the blue with some half-assed backstory that sounds totally fake - Wait, what does he even care? It's not like he knows you! You're a random civilian from a timeline that comes generations before his own. If he wanted, he could march off and never see or think about you again...but does he want to?
Despite his previous desire for isolation, Legend remains standing there dumbly in the sand, entranced by the song you go back to humming while carefully scrubbing away at your laundry. You take no shame in your singing - which is good, because there's no reason to be. You sound nothing short of holy, and quite honestly, you match the look, practically glowing in the beams of sunlight. Even your movements are graceful, so much so that as you wade out of the water, you hardly disturb the water lilies around you.
"Where'd you learn to sing like that?" The question slips before Legend can help it, but there's no taking it back. You stop mid-step onto the sand, eyes quickly darting up to look at him in surprise. It's as if no one's ever been smart enough to give you that compliment before...or perhaps no one has ever sounded quite so astonished while saying it.
"My cousin and I sing every evening at the Lumpy Pumpkin," You explain, bashfully tucking a strand of hair behind your ear after dropping your laundry back into its basket and picking it up, "You should come by sometime. It’s on an island south east of here - Very cozy, and a great place to get to know new people, too.”
"I'll, um...think about it,” Legend answers awkwardly with a cough. Will they even be staying in Skyloft that long? How would he even get to another island, especially without anyone else following - Wait, why is he even considering this?!
You seem to have lost some of your cheer. Perhaps that wasn’t the exact answer you were hoping to hear, however Legend, once again, has no way of taking it back.
“...Well, I, um, should get going. These clothes won’t dry themselves,” You mumble, gesturing to the basket you keep against your hip. Without waiting for any goodbye, you make your way up the shoreline, only stopping temporarily to shout over your shoulder, “Oh, and Li Ravio? I should probably tell you that Link was looking for you earlier! He wanted to make sure all you boys knew not to get too close to any edges! It’s quite the fall!”
Legend doesn’t respond, too stunned to form words as you chuckle to yourself before skipping off on your merry way. So you were aware of his lies the entire time!

Faced with tired bones and a sinking sun that plummets the world into night, the Chain has no choice but to call it a day (not that they have any objections towards rest). They practically collapse where they stand, taking a few greedy minutes to catch their breaths before picking up the work once again.
Setting up bedrolls, sparking a fire, organizing supplies, and chopping vegetables, the heroes are kept active for a decent hour or two until they can take another breather. Gathered around a wonky circle, their conversation is light and mostly focused upon their hunger which is only fueled by the pleasant smell of soup until it can be dished out.
About half the boys have bowls in their hands before a sudden snap of a twig causes them to trade their meals for weapons, senses on heightened alert especially when a stranger soon steps out of the shadows. At such a distance, the fire's light only barely outlines their silhouette, but that’s apparently all it takes for someone in their group to realize this is no actual stranger who's stumbled across them.
Hyrule's face lights up as he exclaims your name. Your own reaction is quite similar, switching from caution to excitement within the same second that you remove the hood from your head. The way you both move to greet each other, holding the other's arms with bright smiles and disbelief is quick to calm the other heroes. If you're a friend of the wary traveler's, then you'll be a friend to them.
"I thought it was your voice I heard from the trail, but then again, I haven't heard you in ages! And to find you in such a large group of companions? Never before! Where have you been for all this time, old friend?" You seem to go through several emotions all at once - a steady flow from relief, confusion, sorrow, and joy. Hyrule is hardly any better.
"It's a long story, but I haven't exactly been around to be seen," When you give him a bewildered look, he’s quick to brush it off, "I'll tell you all about it some other time - Hey, why don't you join us for dinner? There's plenty to go around!”
Your eyes instantly widen as you wave your hands in front of yourself, your smile suddenly strained, "Oh, no - no thanks! That's a kind offer, really, but I, um, ate not too long ago -"
"- Pss! He's not the one who does the cooking here," Someone whispers. At that, your shoulders visibly relax.
"...Oh...Well, uh, now that I think about it, it was really more of a light snack earlier. I suppose I could stand to eat something more."
Hyrule beams at this, clearly happy to have someone he knows so well stick around even if only for a night. It's then that he finally introduces you to the group, explaining that you're a fellow traveler he often crossed paths with during his own adventures. Seeing how dangerous this time can be, you had a habit of sharing supplies, camps, and stories to feel less alone in the world, so it's no wonder that you'd be so relieved to see each other safe again.
"Mind if I sit by you, stranger?" You ask, peeking around at Twilight while Hyrule grabs you a bowl of soup. Despite your tired eyes and worn expression, you still manage a friendly smile that causes the rancher to nearly choke on his spoon.
With a cough and blush, he scoots to the side, probably making far more room than you actually need, "...Not one bit."
"Thanks!" Fortunately, you don't seem to think anything of his reaction as you gratefully take a seat nor do you take any notice of the way he steals another curious glance at you.
Seeing as you're a new face within the group, it's only natural that you become the center of attention. Questions are thrown your way left and right, many interested to know your story which you modestly tell with little fanfare. Apparently, you've been a traveler for the last few years, wandering from place to place while making a living off trading the resources you collect throughout your journey. Before then, though, you used to live at your family's ranch.
"You grew up on a ranch?" Twilight asks a bit too eagerly once the topic's mentioned, earning himself a lot of strange looks including one from yourself, although you at least seem more forgiving than his friends, quickly letting your confusion go with a gentle nod.
"I did - For most my life, actually," That's all you say before going back to stirring your soup which you're thankful not to find any bone fragments in.
"What made you move on from that life?" Perhaps it's an out-of-line question a gentleman shouldn't be asking, after all he's no more than a stranger to you, but learning a pretty thing such as yourself may have a similar background to himself makes him forget all manners.
"...It was destroyed by monsters some time back," You answer simply while taking a bite.
Twilight bows his head, shame burning inside, "...Oh. I'm real sorry to hear that."
Despite his fears of having caused offense, you merely shrug off any discomfort, “My family made it out alright and we make do with what we have now. Can't go complaining about that."
"...I'm from a farming village myself - From Ordon,” He goes on to tell in a quiet ramble, “I’ve worked there as a ranch hand practically all my life, overseeing the goats we’re famous for. It’s quaint, and about as far from the big towns as you can get, but homely. And the people there - Why, I don’t think you’ll find anyone more kind and welcoming. Like livin’ in one big family.”
Once again, this probably isn't something he should be saying. If it were him, he'd be beyond distraught to lose the ranch to the point that any reminders would send him spiraling, yet to his continued good fortune, you take his story for what it's meant to be, setting down your spoon with a comforted smile.
"I'd love to see that…" Orondian, how you enchant him with such a soft gaze, taking him hostage in the sea of your sparkling eyes. If Hyrule's tales are any indication for the horrors of this broken world, you must be a true diamond in the rough to be from a place so cruel. Any less personal control and Twilight wouldn't hesitate to ask you to join them - to come along on this adventure and see how beautiful life will someday be. He could take you to Ordon and show you all he’s come to adore - let you breathe the fresh air scented like hay and pine while overlooking the familiar green fields you’ve dearly missed. Who knows? Maybe you’d even ask to stay.
“I’d love to show you…”
"...Is this still a group conversation ooor?" Wild pipes in awkwardly from Twilight’s side, seeming to speak on everyone else’s discomfort as the poor, stricken young man loses himself to this yearning in his heart. This might be a long night and an even longer day tomorrow if they get stuck listening to him fawning over you...

You’re starting to doubt this shift will ever end…
It feels like you’ve been stuck in here for hours with nothing to do aside from sit at the counter and beg the sun to set just a little faster. You've already restocked inventory twice, organized stock to perfection, and swept the floor until your broom broke…If this keeps up, your sanity might just break, too.
Ringing from the front door’s bell gives you at least something to do as you sigh your typical greeting: "Welcome to Gia's General Store, where we have all your - LINK?!"
With a complete shift in mood, you happily leap up from your stool and race around the corner to meet your friend halfway in a tight embrace that you've both gone far too long without, "It's been ages! How have you been? Where have you been?"
Four chuckles at your eager questioning, "It hasn't been that long."
"Really? Because I swear five years have passed from this shift alone…" You groan dramatically before breaking away from the hug to get a solid look at him. Despite the months that have passed, he looks no different than when he had first set out. Good. You like him just the way he is anyway.
"Please tell me you're planning on sticking around for a bit. I’ve been dying for something interesting to happen around here and your stories are just the salvation I need! I only have an hour to go until I can close up, though I'm afraid I might stab myself with a fire arrow before then. It’s been terribly boring!”
That, Four doesn’t doubt. Your home village is as serene as they come which isn’t always a favorable trait in the judgement of two teenagers with more energy coursing through their bones than they know what to do with. Of course, he’s probably done no good helping matters by always filling your head with envious dreams of adventure and mystery.
“We’ll probably be spending the night in town,” He tells you, much to your relief, “In the meantime, we have quite the list of supplies that we need to restock on, if you don’t mind.”
"We?" Somehow you only just notice the group of young men who managed to sneak into the store after Four. A few of them are already looking around at the items you have to offer, while others wait patiently with the hope that they'll be introduced to...Well, whoever you are to their dear friend.
"I would introduce everyone, but we all share the same name."
"All of you?" You look at Four in shock, yet he nods as if it's the most normal thing in the world to him...Then again, it probably is at this rate. Honestly you shouldn't be that surprised yourself. This is Link you're talking to.
"...Huh...Well, feel free to have a look around, I guess, and let me know if you need anything in particular. Arrows are buy one get two free right now, and fully in stock, too, since Link - Er, this Link, hasn't been in town to buy us out,” You explain to the group, jutting a thumb towards Four who rolls his eyes.
Now, usually you become a bit overwhelmed whenever large groups enter your shop, but seeing as these guys are Four's friends, you feel comfortable letting them wander freely. It helps that they seem to know exactly what they're looking for, too, making your job all the easier.
For the most part, the group allows Four and you privacy to catch up, only interrupting your conversation occasionally whenever they have questions about your prices or the quality of your goods, however you aren’t blind to the curious glances they spare you even in silence. No doubt they’re wondering how deep your relationship with Four goes, finding it endearing how at peace the young hero has become in your simple presence.
Most of these glances are quick enough, although you can’t help noticing that one of the boys seems to lack the same subtlety as his friends. Each time you steal a peek through the corners of your eyes, you spot him staring in your direction with an awed look overtaking his face. Whenever someone else nudges him to ask a question, he blinks rapidly with a stammer before bashfully looking away.
‘Cute…’ You’re tempted to think, but then you take notice of how young the boy seems to be. He must be at least a few years younger than Four and you - still a just child, at least by your standards which is an upsetting thought since context clues point to him being a hero, too. If that’s true, that must mean he was as young as Four was when he first set out on all this hero business himself, if not even younger. Poor kid…
Soon enough, Four confirms your suspicions about his traveling companions’ identities, telling you all about the strange portals they’ve traveled through and the journey they’ve been on up until this point. It was mere hours ago that they found themselves this close to home and, well, he couldn’t bear to pass by without seeing you or his uncle.
“Smart. I would’ve been livid had I found out you were in the area and didn’t stop by,” You elbow Four who pushes you back with his shoulder playfully before suddenly glancing behind you. Following his attention, you find the youngest hero standing there shyly, a minish feather necklace in one hand and a small pouch of rupees in the other.
Wind startles, seeming to have not expected your turn, “I, uh, wanted to know how much this was - um, is…So that I can buy it, if I may - for my little sister!”
You notice Four hiding his smirk behind his hand, yet you elect to ignore him for now, instead giving the younger boy your full focus with a kind smile, “How sweet of you. Consider it on the house, kid.”
“R - Really?” He brightens with possibly the widest eyes you’ve ever seen.
“‘course. Think of it as payment for helping my friend here find his way home safely.”
“Wow, thank you miss!” Oh goddesses above, his smile is adorable! He reminds you of the village children who often come here seeking sweet treats, such a simple delight to create lasting joy in their hearts. How you wish you could return to those days yourself - to no longer bear the weight of the world and its troubles in your thoughts. Alas, you could never so skillfully rewind time, but at least you can help protect that same innocence in others, even if only for a moment.
And protect it you do. Even late into the evening, Wind still cherishes that necklace in hand, carefully inspecting its details while kicking his feet giddily in memory of you, the pretty shopkeeper from Four’s Hyrule.
Sure, it probably isn’t that big of a deal. You gave the entire Chain a rather generous discount on their supplies despite their protests, but he was the only one who received your kindness personally without having to share. No one else aside from Four had the joy of seeing your beautiful smile directed his way, your expression soft and comforting like a warm breeze on the summer’s beach.
He hadn’t lied. He does plan on giving the necklace to Aryll once this journey is over, but until then, he’ll probably admire it a little longer, at least until this crush of his settles within his heart.

if I was the guide I would try to help link more then just help him with puzzles and where to go next. I would try helping with enemies and bosses by distracting them, help with stealth missions by making noise to distract guards, scavenge for things like rupees, bombs, arrows, food ect, for them, watch over link while he slept, help teach them how to play instruments cuz i doubt they would automatically know how to play, help keep them warm at night, let link vent and not bottle up his emotions,ya know cuz the poor boy deserves some help. Maybe guide reader help teach the links how to fight, cuz time, wind, and maybe legend, hyrule and how to sword fight cuz there's no way time and wind would know how to sword fight when their journeys first began, they were just kids, legend and four might have cuz legends uncle knew how to use a sword and fours grandfather is a blacksmith and in the four swords manga his father is captain of the hyrule knights, hyrule I don't honestly know if the fairies taught him how to fight with weapons, twilight was taught by rusl, sky, warriors and calamity were training/were already knights, wild would definitely have to be re taught how to fight again, and sage already remembered/ relearned how. I don't know how old first, korodai and courage were when they first learned,How would the chain react to that if they remembered? Sorry it's so long.😅
Sorry this one’s been sitting so long! This is going to be a bit of a ramble, but it’ll make sense! Took some liberties!!

Player/Guide!reader is the epitome of comfort to the boys. Much of their lives they have been taught through experience to trust no one —not even their own goddess— lest they get a dagger in the back. And at first they are cautious. A person with no ties to hyrule who is so eerily familiar with the heroes and utterly bewitching? They’re half convinced you are a trick, meant to play on their insecurities and trauma.
Time gathers his recollections first. He remembers your calm voice correcting his form and swings, your encouragement to keep improving— not with the intent of killing, but with only his safety at heart. He’d buried his blade within the thick trunk of a tree and heard your old whispers through his ears, and it all made sense. That even as his bones were cracked and reformed and the threads of time unraveled, you were consistent. Even when he wasn’t the same him that you loved before, you were back again. Protecting him, even if he didn’t need it. You were arms for him to return to and someone to hold and love.
Legend remembered almost on accident. He’d bolted up from the solid earth, rings snagging at his hair as his fingers tugged at the root. His chest rose and fell rapidly, like that of a frightened animal. You’d cautiously found your way in front of him, talking him down from the world within. Your hands massaged his palms easing the tension and removing his hair from his grip. You’d done this many times before, he realised. You were all he had for the months after leaving Koholint, your unconditional love despite his less than stellar attitude was something he felt guilty to forget. But perhaps now he’d be content to make up for it by letting you keep him there, curled up against your chest… even if he’d get some teasing.
Twilight didn’t actually remember on his own. In fact, he’s so stubborn and protective over the ‘pack’ that he likely wouldn’t have if it weren’t for Epona. For a large part, he trusted her judgment. Most animals did have a keener sense for natural disasters, but she always seemed to have a good sense of character. Sure, it was odd enough she ate right out of your hand with a happy nicker, but she just really liked apples. She’s a horse, she’s easily bribed. But even then, he’s not sure how much bribing it would take for her to lay down and let you braid flowers through her freshly brushed mane. It was trust. From all the other times you did it absentmindedly —occasionally even to him— it seems her trust in character was still sharp.
Warriors was actually slightly embarrassed by how he came to remember. Dripping wet from the rain and favourite cloak littered with mud and holes, he was rather cranky. He got showered and changed —thank the three they were at an inn— and decided to leave the stained and worn clothes as a tomorrow problem. That was until his prized blanket scarf found its way into to your mits. He tried to snatch it back, earning some odd looks and the shutter of the sheikah slate. You were frustratingly difficult to catch. It seemed that hadn’t changed. When he was ultimately successful, however, he realised that you’d actually been making an incredibly successful job at washing and repairing it as you’d done thousands of times before. He remembers you my firelight, cobalt swathed over your lap as your needle glided through the fabric. He remembered trying to imitate your stitches. He remembered how he never quite got it right.
He let you finish working.
Four was having a crisis. Do not let his indifference fool you, this man is a wreck. Best believe that beyond his surprisingly stubborn stoicism, the colors are shaking each other by the shoulders and screaming. Red recognised you immediately. His heart was quite literally moulded after your soft words and carefully love, he couldn’t forget you so long as he had a soul. Green being the mediator between them all and heard his quiet utters. The most honest a man could be that his adoration was infectious. It was you who taught him who he was. Blue took a while. So strong-willed in his stance, the he forgot you were the one to teach him to take a stand. He forgot it was you who willed him to fight for what he loved. Vio fell last, what would you expect of the mind. He hardly noticed it. The way his thoughts timed to you, the way he sought your presence and craved your voice. It was you who taught them how to be separate and yet loved them wholly. And such loyalty could only be payed back.
Wind remembered you in fragments. He remembers his parent by oath, who shielded him from the vast world he was so desperate to see. He didn’t understand it at first. But loosing you, especially when his memory wasn’t fully gone like the others, was rough. He mourned and grieved, even if he didn’t realise it. He missed being cared for. Without the looming question of what favor needed done or when it would go away. He missed you. It took a while to heal. For him to feel ok trusting in people again, even eventually curling up next to Wars when he’d try to sleep. He felt guilty, as if he were betraying you when you dug up dead feelings. But it’s hard to be a rebellious rascal when your partner in crime is finally returned to you especially after you were concerned you killed them. It takes him a while to process your back, but he’s back at your side, tugging you along by the hand as he explains his next devious prank.
Hyrule remembers you through his magic. The way your heart stutters as he heals you is familiar, a beat he’s fallen asleep to many times before and the life within it is one he can’t help but feel… connected to. He keeps a close eye out, his ears wiggling at the familiar music of your laugh and his skin unfamiliar without your own to cradle it. You share a spirit with them, a bit of your soul and theirs and a small both of theirs in you. And yet his mind can’t call out to why. It keeps him awake, taunting at him. But he knows his soul yearns for the part with yours. He knows the rush of your blood and song of your soul. He knows he loves you. Even if he doesn’t get why.
Wild takes so long to remember you for exactly the reasons you’d expect. His mind hides away the most crucial parts of itself in plain sight, never to be noticed or recognized until the memories are far too warped and rotten to actually remember anything. Anything of note, that is. But for what it’s worth, he never really perceived you as a threat. You were homey and comfortable, a trait so unfamiliar to his life of travel, he didn’t care if it left a sword in his stomach. Besides, not any yiga could take on an act that long. He took off the cooked eggs and set them onto a separate plate as you sat quietly, Wind strewn over your torso. You hummed softly the same work song he’d sung for years. One for which he didn’t know the origin, not until hearing you for what felt like the first time again. He couldn’t help but hum along.
Sky was cursed to forget you.
I must preface because he is a lover boy first and hero second. He wouldn’t care who Demise was, nor his business, so long as you were safe and loved. He loved you more than each and every star in the sky. And he’d already began to start planning your home. He knew he loved you. He knew he was made to love you. And that was exactly why he was made to forget you. That loyalty was scary to the gods. That one would devote themselves to another for little more than love in return— Hylia could not risk her heroes to stray. But try as she might she couldn’t surpress you. Not when you were already married, souls intertwined through every timeline. Your role varied, a healer, a helping hand, a comfort, a home, a parent, a lover, a souse. But you were always someone to Link. No matter what the gods declared. He remembered you only after all the others had, but he’s alright with that.
