Legend is in quiet disbelief.

You're a bunny. A cute, fluffy bunny. Suddenly, he understands why Sky had been so quick to scoop Legend himself up and coo at him that one time, though he'll never admit that.

Honestly, if you weren't hyperventilating, Legend would be doing just that. As it was, you are hyperventilating, and Legend doesn't really want to find out how quickly a bunny passes out when it's hyperventilating.

Bending down, Legend reaches a hand out to you.

"...Hey," He says softly, glad none of the others are around right now. He'd rather not deal with teasing. He also isn't sure how you'd react to the teasing right now.

He remembers how startling it was for him to be forced into the wrong body, of a different species.

He's relieved to see your eyes pin to him, big, round eyes. He has a feeling if you were in Hylian form, you'd be crying.

"Can I pick you up?" Legend asks, voice quiet, and an inexplicable sense of relief washes over him as he watches you stumble forward, panicking more as you fall over yourself.

He scoops you up carefully, "You're okay," He says, chin placed on your fluffy little head.

"I can't..." He sighs, "We've gotta get you calmed down. You're okay. I've got you," Legend says quietly, "You're safe, we'll get you turned back. You're okay." He repeats.

His hand gently runs through the fur of your side in short little bursts, gentle and slow. It works, slowly, and you're breathing stutters into something more normal for bunnies.

"There you go," Legend says, "There you go.." Legend sighs softly, and a small smile appears as you press your fluffy little face against his neck.

"Can you speak?" He asks, trying to figure out if you were like Twilight in that sense or more like him.

A little squeak is his response, and he takes that as a resounding no.

He refuses to sigh. Instead, he hums, "Well, don't worry. We've just got to make our way back to camp and I can give you a moon pearl. I.." He does sigh this time, "I've been turned into a rabbit before too, and that turns me back."

You squeak again, and he pulls you away from his chest. He holds you out at arms length, sees you aren't panicking, and lets a shit eating grin appear on his face.

"Fuckin' bunny," He teases, and watches as you kick your legs, "Floppy ears." He says, huffing out a laugh before tucking you close, "Least you aren't pink."

You squeak again, near inquisitively, and Legend rolls his eyes, "Yeah, I was a pink rabbit." He confirms, before scowling, "Don't go telling anyone, I don't want them to know."

You headbutt his chin gently, and Legend moves his head to kiss in between your ears gently. He'd be embarrassed about it if it wasn't for the fact that you were just so cute.

"You wanna keep this a secret?" He asks, not at all able to judge.

You nod, and he hums, "...Want me to set you outside of camp and go get my bag?"

You don't nod again, but you don't shake your head. You're still for a moment, thinking it over, Legend is sure.

In the end, you shake your head, and Legend huffs, "How do you want me to get my bag and keep this a secret at the same time, huh?" He asks, despite knowing damn well you can't answer it. You know it too, given the dramatic little sigh you let out.

Legend hesitates, "..Listen," He starts, "I know it's scary, being this defenseless, but you'll be okay on the edges of camp for a moment. I'll make it quick, okay?" He assures, voice near a murmur.

It takes a while for you to respond, and in the meantime he starts walking back towards camp. You guys weren't that far away from camp, so he made sure to drag his feet while you thought.

You squeaked eventually to get his attention, and gestured with your little hand (aww!) to a tree. Legend blinks, frowns, and looks between you and the tree. It dawns on him after a moment.

"...Are you asking me to put you in a tree?" He asks incredulously.

You nod.

Legend caves.

He ends up setting you on a branch you near cling to, little tail twitching. Legend has to bite back a laugh at you, before walking back into camp.

He's careful to act relaxed as he crouches by his bedroll and grabs his smaller pouch.

No one pays him any mind, just as he figured they wouldn't, and he walks back out of camp without issue. He does feel eyes tracking him, though he ignores it easily enough. The others know if there was a serious issue he'd just tell them most of the time, so whoever it was shouldn't follow him.

Legend pauses beneath the tree, looks up at you, and holds his arms out.

You squeak, a terrified little noise, and Legend huffs. "You'll be fine. I'll catch you." He promises.

You shake your head, tail twitching, and Legend rolls his eyes, "So what? You don't trust me now?"

He watches as you pause, blinking at him. He can almost imagine the offended look you'd have on your face before you jump at him. Legend makes good on his promise, catching the fluff ball you now are.

"See?" He says, crouching to set you in the grass. He digs through his bag, "Told ya I'd catch you."

You shuffle closer, and he absentmindedly pats your head. Pulling out the moon pearl, he sets it in front of you.

In no time at all, you're back in Hylian form, shuddering a bit.

"That was awful," You complain, and Legend snorts.

"Tell me about it."

Your eyes narrow a bit, amusement growing and slowly lessening the quiet unease clear on your face, "Pink bunny?" You tease.

Legend's face flames and he gently shoves you, "Oh, shut it. Let's go tell everyone to avoid over there since there's dark magic over there."

Your quiet laughter threatens to make a smile appear on his own cheeks as you two make quick work of ducking back into camp to tell the others.

The next time you end up as a bunny, Legend doesn't laugh at you as much and you don't panic as much either. He's grateful for that at least.

On the plus side, the two of you have been separated from the others in Legend's own Hyrule, so Legend's a lot more comfortable fucking around and helping you figure some stuff out.

You are, also, much more comfortable it seems the second time around. That's even more relieving to see, if he's being honest. He hates how much your anxiety affects him and causes him anxiety, but it's not too surprising. Despite his claims, he really is awfully empathetic and he cares a lot.

...Anyway, once making sure that everything was a-okay, he's tossing a moon pearl in your general direction.

The silence is loud, before a little squeak makes him look over at you properly. You shake your head, and Legend frowns a bit.

"What do you mean no? You've gotta turn back."

You nod, but then shake your head, leaving Legend all the more confused.

Huffing, he walks over and crouches down in front of you, "Okay, listen here," He says, flicking your forehead as gently as he could, "You can't stay as a bunny, weirdo."

You squeak, loud and followed by a few more little sounds, sounding angry. He laughs a bit, finding himself endlessly amused.

You hop over to an area that had more dirt than grass, and started drawing what he could recognize as a clock. He frowns as he watches you circle a time and tap your foot.

"...So, that's now?" He asks, and you nod before drawing a line inside the clock along the curvature of it. You tapped that part of the clock.

Legend frowns, trying to figure this out. It'd be easier if you were human, but you aren't.

"...Later?" He asks with a frown, that quickly deepens when you nod, "You want to turn back later?" You nod again, and hop over to him.

Legend scowls, "No way, I'm no-" You cut him off by jumping up at him. It wasn't like you were heavy, you were a bunny, but it did catch him off guard and result in him sitting on the ground holding you up.

"Why?"

You look over at the clock you drew, and Legend scowls, "You'll tell me later, then?"

You nod, and he sighs, setting you down. You twitch a bit, sitting back on your hind legs. You mime digging, and Legend has a general idea of what you're getting at.

He stands up, scooping you up as he goes, and walks into the woods. They were safe, he knew that much, which is really all he needed at the moment. Setting you down, Legend hesitates a moment before sighing.

"Okay, so, you wanna dig, right?" He asks, humming at your nod. "You should be okay to start digging here," He explains, before his cheeks flush a bit and he sighs, "I.. well, it'll probably turn into you wanting to dig out a full den, so we'll be here a while."

You tilt your head at him, and a small smile appears on his face at the cute action. "I did it one of the first times I ended up as a rabbit." He explains simply, before leaning against a tree.

He doesn't know when he fell asleep, but he isn't upset about it. Legend didn't have any dreams, thankfully, so it was a peaceful little nap.

He comes face to face with a dirt covered bunny, curled up on his lap. He laughs quietly, and it seems to startle you, because the next thing he knows you're jumping off of him. Your eyes are wide as you blink up at him, and Legend laughs louder this time.

You don't seem bothered by this at all, and instead start jumping around him. He rolls his eyes, groaning as he pulls himself to stand up. You're clearly in an energetic mood, hopping ahead before zig zagging a bit so he can catch up without having to run.

How considerate, he thinks, amused.

Legend catches up, and then blinks as you kick yourself forward quickly towards him. You pause afterwards, blinking, and Legend's smile isn't able to be contained, amused and teasing.

He crouches in front of you, back yelling at him, though he ignores that. "Awh, you're so happy," He says, half teasing but entirely amused. Thrilled, one might even say. Legend's hand pick you up gently, and he's (for once) not at all ashamed to admit he's just cuddling you close.

You squirm a bit after a moment, and he sets you down again. You stand on your hind legs for half a second to make a vague gesture at his hip, and he understands immediately.

Legend takes out the moon pearl, dropping it down for you to grab, and then watches as Hylian you makes a reappearance.

His shit eating smile doesn't fade, only growing a bit brighter at the red on the tips of your ears.

I really did enjoy writing this, so again thank you for requesting this! I envision any future stunts pulled as a bunny for either of you include plenty of obligatory snuggles before you help the other turn back.

You look amused and then laugh, shoulders shaking as you duck down to hide your face against his neck. Sky can't help it, he laughs softly as well, shoulders relaxing.

"Yes, Sky," You confirm, a smile on your lips as you speak against his neck, a small shiver running through him at the sensation. You kiss his neck, and he softens, "Sex," You agree, voice amused, as you pull your pinkened face away from his neck to kiss him again.

Sky can't help the way he smiles into the kiss, heart in his throat. He can already feel the beginnings of a hard on, and while he'd normally rush to hide that from you.. well, obviously you guys were on the same page.

His hands are on your hips, and he slides his hand under your dress shirt.

"Yeah," You agree, and then he makes a little noise of complaint as you pull out of his lap. You roll your eyes at him, hand patting his cheek fondly, and Sky smiles at you softly as he watches. You seem to stutter a bit under his eyes, but he doesn't mind. He props his elbow up on his knee, head in the palm of his hand, and continues to watch you with half lidded eyes.

You don't shy away too much from his gaze, he's thrilled to note, and he gets the privilege (absolute privilege!!) to watch as you near completely strip.

You're so attractive, and Sky shifts a bit uncomfortably. He couldn't wait to have you under him. Almost idly, he wonders if he'll be able to get you to ride him in the morning, all sleepy like, and then if he'd be able to get you to sleep in more.

He's getting ahead of himself.

Sky stands up and clasps your hands together with his, leaning in to kiss you chastely before pulling away.

His hands settled down on your waist, and he hikes you further up on the bed. You make a startled noise, "Sky!" and release his neck.

Sky smiles up at you and shifts backwards himself until he's able to start kissing along your collarbones, and then down your chest.

You make soft noises under him, and it softens something in him. He's already a soft man, he thinks, especially when it comes to you, his dove, his sweetheart, his absolute everything, but he won't ever complain about being warmed by any noise you make.

His hands slide down further to your thighs, grabbing them gently. His thumbs rub the skin under them, warm against his palms.

Quickly, just so that he won't have to worry about it later, he finishes stripping as well. Your eyes traced over him, admiring every little plane of his body.

youre in absolute DISBELIEF

youve been pretty sheltered most of your life, so you havent gone out and seen/experienced much, and now that you live by yourself you don't put any effort into learning about what everyone in the larger parts of hyrule think/know

you definitely dont think merfolk are real

AND YET heres this blonde haired mer, blinking up at you from the water

he looks just as shocked as you do

theres a lot of attempted gaslighting on his part

he isn't real, youre totally making him up, mer people?? nahhhh never

you, of course, don't believe him

he must realize he can swim away, because he does just that, leaving you hanging

it becomes a common thing, though, to stumble across this really odd mer

thankfully, over a lot of time, he starts to stick around a bit more and you guy get to talk

you learn his name is link, and that he's rather grumpy (though, maybe that's a bad word for it. tense and untrusting, maybe?)

he never answers ANY of your questions about what it's like to be a mer, and he'll often leave right after you ask him any questions

so, you learn not to ask questions!

instead, you talk about yourself, your interests, your family, your friends, just.. everything

the first few times, he doesn't seem to be really listening to anything you say. he's just collecting a lot of stuff off of the riverbed and stowing them away.

(the first time you ask what he's collecting he near growls, gets clearly embarrassed about that and promptly flees. you don't ask again)

either way, at some point he starts listening to you as he gathers materials.

he's not sure when he started to like listening to you talk, but it happened at some point and now he's come to look forward to it a lot

he gaslights himself into thinking its just funny to listen to your complaints when he's done and gone through so much. that it was just nice to be reminded that not everyone in hyrule is going through literal hell

it gets harder to convince himself that's his reasoning when he realizes he doesn't need to go back to the river near your house anymore

he doesn't want to go somewhere he doesn't need to, but eventually he gets super stressed by everything he has to deal with and decides thats a good enough excuse to go listen to some random person's ramblings

at that point, though, it's probably been weeks, so you've also stopped going

why would you go when the mer you liked talking.. uh.. to isn't there?

so, he shows up and is promptly bummed when he realizes you aren't there.

we all love link, i know, but you guys i fear he's a little dumb, so the thought of... taking the mermaid suit off never crosses his mind.

like he could take it off and just go knock on your door like a normal hylian would, but he could also depressingly lay on the riverbed like his lover has gone off to war and hasn't responded to any of his letters

anyway.

he repeats this a couple of times before deciding you've gotta come down eventually, right? and even he'll admit it at this point; he's starting to miss you

so everytime he comes, he'll bring an itty bitty shell of some sort and set it on the shoreline.

you think he's a mer, and he doesn't plan on telling you he isnt, so he might as well play into that

and hes right, eventually you do go down to the river and see the little pile of shells he's left you, like he's a bird waiting for his owner

you're definitely a bit surprised, but you collect the shells.

you go down early the next day with the shells in hand, a knife, and some string

as you wait to see if he'll turn up, you carve little holes into the shells and pull string through them

they're a bit too big for a necklace, unfortunately, but you can still make it into a decoration of some sort no issue.

he does show up eventually, and he gives you a smile when he sees you, which is probably one of the first youve seen from him. its small, but its meaningful

so anyway, you thank him for the shells, he gets a bit embarrassed and defensive, so you quickly move on

you start up the old routine of rambling on about different things

at first you had set your work aside to chatter, but unlike before when he would swim around while you talked and he gave idle, bland comments, now he sits with his arms crossed on the bank, head sitting on them and staring at you unnervingly

so, you pick the shells back up and keep working while he watches you

this guy does not realize he's acting weird in your eyes, so he remains where he is, tail and most of his upper body floating in the water, his chin and arms on the river bank

that becomes the new routine! eventually though, you do run out of shells to use and have to face his stare

for a minute the first time you stutter and choke on your words - you live in relative solitude, and, as aforementioned, you were relatively sheltered, so you really arent used to people paying such close attention to you and your words

you get by it though!

he does catch on at that point, and makes it a point to look away or start scratching random designs into the dirt under his hand whenever you end up stuttering again, which helps to get you more relaxed

he isn't really sure at what point during this he starts offering more about himself to you, but he does

his age, the fact that he's done a lot, how stressed he is (though, never the details) and other miscellaneous things, like his enjoyment of traveling and magic

youre thrilled to learn what you can about link

and after you find out about his tendency to hoard things, you offer the shells he gave you that you strung up back

he declines, and says that they were meant for you anyway, so you might as well keep them

i think thats when he realizes he must have developed some romantic feelings for you at some point, and just hadnt picked up on them

it definitely scares him at first

the last time he'd felt anything towards someone that he was confident he could label as being romantic, it was marin, and.. well..

so, yeah, it scares him off for a little bit.

you learned your lesson last time he disappeared, and still go down to the river pretty frequently.

anything that's not a house chore and can be done wherever starts to get done by the river, and that's just how it is now

he does come back eventually

he realizes that he knows damn well he isn't dreaming (though sometimes he isn't sure, but ever since all of that happened, hes never been too sure about anything)

he also decides that if this, if you, are a dream, maybe its a sign from Hylia herself to just kinda stop falling for people

so anyway, when he comes back he brings one of his necklaces with him. hes not sure if youll like it, or if youll wear it, but its really simple

just a black cord, and a small charm on it thats enchanted for protection

when he gives it to you, youre thrilled

maybe you wear jewelry a lot, maybe you dont, but either way its something easy to slip on and off and it's rather nondescript

plus its from link so of course you wear it

anyway, it snowballs from there and he starts gifting you random, small items

theyre either enchanted to protect you in some way, or they really are just random items

eventually YOU realize you like him too

for you i wanna say its an easy thing to accept. you like this silly, grumpy mer guy, and thats that

so youd confess first, probably after you confirm its not just a fleeting crush, and link probably glitches or something

anyway, you guys would totally have your first kiss with him awkwardly half out of the water and you on your knees crouched down

you fall in right afterwards, because the angle is so awkward

i think at this point he'd be worried you wouldnt like him once you find out hes not a merman, and he isn't really sure how youd react to him not being one, so i think he'd just show up at your door injured one night and panicking (though he won't say he's panicking)

You're on your way back to Castletown after what feels like one of the longest days of your life ever.

One of your parents had asked you to go collect some berries from the woods, which is something you're fine with doing, of course! Until those gross looking ants had appeared.

You ended up dropping your basket, and all of those silly berries you'd been collecting had scattered onto the ground. You could have picked them all up, but you could see the ants swarming some of them and...

Well, the you of now shudders to think of it, empty basket clutched tightly in hand.

Your eyebrows furrow a bit as you get closer to the gates - is there a girl there?

Not exactly out of the ordinary, but certainly a bit odd.

You go to approach her, but stop once you're close enough to make out the details of her outfit. There's butterflies all over her dress, and you make quick work of trying to redirect your feet away from the girl and past her.

"Hello!" You hear a soft voice call out, directly from the girl you're now trying to avoid. Your shoulders tense a bit as you turn around, a strained smile on your face.

She has a cute parasol and basket, and she seems happy enough as she bounces up to you, "You've got a basket," The girl acknowledges, before tilting her head a bit, "Are you out here searching for li'l bugs too?"

The question is innocent enough, but you can't help the way your face twitches in disgust at the idea of voluntarily looking for those weird little creatures. The girl seems to read your expression, a small frown on her lips.

"..Are you not looking for bugs?"

"No.. um.. I was collecting berries."

The girl looks into your empty basket, "...Where there none?" She asks, and you scratch your cheek awkwardly before replying.

"Um.. no, there were some," You say truthfully, "I just dropped the basket."

Her frown deepens, and you feel a bit guilty for that, "Why did you drop the basket? Why didn't you pick the berries back up?" She inquires, sounding confused.

You sigh a bit, "There were these ants," You start to explain, before pausing at how she leans forward quickly.

"Ants?" She asks quickly, "Oh, oh, you have to show me where! My name is Agitha, I'm the Princess of bugs!" She says happily.

Your nose scrunches, "You're the... princess of.. bugs?" You ask slowly, and the girl - Agitha - nods.

"Yes, yes! And- and I'm throwing a ball, you see, and I invited some golden bugs, but I think they've gotten lost on their way." Agitha sighs, "So you must show me where these ants where! My invitee might be among them!"

Despite her excitement, she's still speaking quite kindly, and while it sounds like you have a choice, something tells you that you don't, actually, get a choice in this.

So, you do the sensible thing and nod. Agitha claps happily, and you take the lead. It isn't a far walk, you aren't the best at fighting so you never venture too far into the woods.

As you get closer to the spot the... incident.. occurred, you draw yourself to a stop. Gesturing to the general area, you turn to Agitha, "They were over there."

Agitha nods and goes over. You see her stop pretty close to where you can kind of see the berries on the ground, and she crouches. Agitha doesn't hesitate to stick her hand out close to the bugs that are likely there, making you shudder in quiet disgust.

You almost want to walk away and leave her to it, but some morbid sense of curiosity makes you stay rooted to the spot. She pulls her hand back up after a while, and she's smiling happily at what you assume is probably an ant.

Agitha coos at it, clearly thrilled, and makes her way back over to you.

"He isn't the one I was looking for, but he's so friendly, see!" She exclaims, shoving her hand close to you.

You almost jump back, "Yeah, sure, please don't shove that thing at me again though.."

Agitha blinks, and then frowns, cradling the ant close to her. "He's not a thing. You shouldn't be so mean to him." She scolds you.

You huff a bit to yourself, but agree, "Fine. Sure. Just don't.. put him near me." You pause and then scrunch your nose, "I.. I'm gonna regret asking this, but... how do you know he's a.. 'he'?"

Agitha smiles brightly and holds the ant out again. He's crawling around on her fingers, and she has to turn her hand around occasionally so he doesn't fall. "Do you see the wings?"

You have to look close in order to see, and that means you have to get close to it, and.. you don't want to, but also you're really curious about these supposed wings.

You lean a bit closer - not enough to really be all that near it - and blink at the translucent, fly like wings on his back.

"Yeah..?"

"Yeah!" Agitha pulls the ant back, and she pretty much cradles the little creature, "It's also the same size as many of the others, right?" She continues, "So it's a male! The females don't usually have wings, and they're the same size as each other. If a female does have wings, it's usually much bigger than the rest, and a lot of times that's how you can tell that it's the queen!"

You listen to her rambles, and nod along at the appropriate intervals.

"...Cool." You say, sounding kind of lackluster even to your own ears.

It doesn't seem to deter her at all, though, and she bounces back over to the grouping of ants that had previously terrorized you.

She crouches and releases the ant before coming back over to you, "He's not who I was looking for. None of them seem to be." She explains without you even asking.

You nod a bit, slowly, before giving her a small smile, "Are you done looking for today, then?"

Agitha pauses, hesitant, before nodding a tiny bit, "I suppose I am. Would you like to come to my castle?"

You give her a smile and nod, letting her lead the way back into Castle Town. Your parents surely won't mind you being gone for a little bit of extra time, especially if you tell them you were hanging out with a new friend.

It's as the two of you are nearing your destination that you remember one very important detail about Agitha. She's a self proclaimed princess of bugs. Sure that means her house - castle as she calls it - will be filled with the little things..?

You shudder and, yeah, alright, you'll admit it; you drag your feet the rest of the way and maybe you trip yourself on purpose a couple times to try and get out of it. Agitha just calls you clumsy.

There's a butterfly on the stone beside her door, and you give it a disgusted little look.

She opens the door for you, and you follow her in despite your reluctance. There are butterflies flying around, a tree in the center of her house, and so many dead bugs.

You give Agitha a strained smile, "...I should get home," You say, "My parents are probably worried by now. I'll see you." You say, before promptly running back outside without waiting for her to answer.

For a long time, that's how the new friendship works. Agitha seemed to pick up on your distaste of all insects, and while there was no avoiding a lot of them when around her, she was awfully considerate with attempting to minimize your contact with bugs.

Still, even just a month into being her friend, you knew a lot more about bugs than you'd ever expected to know.

Butterflies taste with their feet, some moths just don't eat when they're adults (for reasons Agitha didn't bother to explain, though you were a bit curious on why.)

You didn't like being around a lot of bugs, it just didn't seem worth it, they were so... crawly, and gross, and they just.. eugh, they look weird. Still, you could admit certain things were fascinating about them.

You're getting better with that though, one of Agitha's butterfly friends perched on your finger. You're tense, and you're pretty sure the second it starts crawling you'll freak the fuck out, but you have to admit.. it is pretty. At least.. until you start looking a bit closer at it and it's little face.

You shudder and Agitha takes the hint, a soft giggle falling from her as she takes the little creature back.

"You'll get used to them," Agitha assures kindly.

"...Eventually, yeah, I think so." You admit. No better way to get over a fear than to face it - at least, in this case, since it wasn't a debilitating fear.

If nothing else, you could appreciate these little life forms and their complexities.

okay srry fr how long this took to get out, and the lackluster ending, i forgot how taxing classes + sickness were 💀 i really did enjoy writing this, and feel free to point out any parts that feel awkward to read - i probably missed it when i was proof reading. i wrote most of this with a fever so r.i.p.

honestly i couldve kept going for AGES, i love agitha sm and theres hardly any content w/her in it unfortunately, but if i kept going itd likely get too drawn out so...

Which characters and games would you be okay with writing for in the LOZ series?

any at all! if im not that knowledgeable on a character or game, ill deep dive and scrounge up any/all information i can find on them, but i think the only one i dont know much about would be characters from cadence of hyrule - if that's what you end up requesting it might just take me a minute to get it out (maybe a week or so from when I see the request?) as im watching a playthrough currently to get a good feel for the characters!

The chain w/reader who has a food allergy

LU x GN Reader -- SFW -- Can be seen as platonic or romantic for all but Wind (and twilight + sky have stuff dependent on relationship with reader!)

Reader has a food allergy, and tells the respective links! i know theres no epipens or anything of that sort in loz, but lets just pretend theres smth similar and ofc most of the chain has never had to learn abt that, okok?

he doesn't really understand at first

you'd have to like.. explain that whatever youre allergic to could kill you/impact your health

he'd 100% reorganize his slate/pad (depending on which version of him youre tellin) so that any ingredients you're allergic to are on their own page

he'll also go around to every other link and figure out if anyone else is allergic to something so he knows

he's the cook, its his job!!

if he's ever made you something that has what youre allergic to in it, he feels really guilty about it. you never ate it (obviously) and he's never thanked someone for not eating his cooking before, but theres a first time for everything

he also makes it a point to tell you everything he puts in his food after that. he does NOT want to accidentally make you ill or, like, kill you.

when he learns what cross contamination is...

he's seen scrubbing everything he uses to cook like his life depends on it

yours does, which is close enough in his eyes

probably saw you avoiding it like no tomorrow and made a note of it.

he assumed you just disliked whatever it was, and always offered to take yours as a little 'i see you dont like that, ill take it and keep quiet about it' type thing

you assume he just straight up figured out that you're allergic, so you make an offhanded comment about being allergic and are surprised when he's surprised.

its an entire thing.

after he figures out you're actually just allergic, he's probably start suggesting alternatives/replacements for those specific ingredients to wild.

especially if its seasonings of some sort. he will start complaining about the seasonings in it like no tomorrow to get wild to stop using them

he'll make himself politely insufferable

ofc all of that would come AFTER he pushes you to tell the others, and only if you don't

if it's a part of dishes that's commonly a side (ie potatoes or smth) and youre too embarrassed to request without, he'll request his without and just switch with you.

he won't make a big deal out of it or anything, he'll just make it apparent he cares

okay, so youd bring it up expecting him not to care, or to act like he doesnt care

and like.. he has the whole grumpy guy thing going on, but he DOES care, and he isn't ashamed to admit it??

he asks how allergic you are, if you have any other allergies, what he might be able to do to help, etcetc

understands the most out of everyone why you might want to keep it a secret - weaknesses and all that

suddenly he hates every food with your allergy in it.

it confuses the hell out of the others - especially if its one of his favorites or something

legend will act like nothing has changed in that regard

if youre allergic to fish though he gets really unsure about some things because of the mermaid suit making him a merman

are you allergic to him now??

if he ever ends up in that form around you he'd probably panic like no tomorrow because of that specific allergy

he understands that its dangerous for you to consume this food item

but the danger of it doesn't fully process for him

if he knows something has something youre allergic to in it, and he happens to remember that youre allergic, he'll let you know

but otherwise? ehh.. yeah, he'll probably just tell wild and let him know not to make anything with that in it anymore.

ofc, if you guys are in a relationship, or he's starting to like you as a bit more than a friend, he'll put more effort into remembering these things

ESPECIALLY in a longer term relationship - that's when he'll end up cutting whatever it is youre allergic to out of his diet as well, that way he won't accidentally end up giving it to you without thinking about it

in that case scenario, if it's anything with meats, he may end up actually just putting rules for himself down - can only eat it here here and here, but not here here and here

if its strictly platonic though? yeah, he'll probably forget at least twice

honestly the most normal about it when it's platonic, bit out there when its romantic, but yk

he does NOT understand what the big deal is at first

honestly, you'll likely experience an allergic reaction before he panics himself and realizes what a big deal this is

even if its a minor/mild allergy he'll understand better once he SEES

i feel like skyloft has the same old, same old, and that there are probably very little hylians allergic to anything up there

they probably know what allergies ARE, but moreso in the theoretical sense

after he realizes that his half a lesson on what allergies are 100% downplayed it, he'll bombard you with questions

what *exactly* is it that youre allergic to? is it this part, this part, or the entire thing? how long before it starts affecting you?

similar to wild, he'll do his best to make sure there's no cross contamination

if you're keeping it a secret, he'll just start volunteering to wash the dishes, that way he knows it's done in a way that won't result in you getting hurt

if you ever go into anaphylactic shock, this guys is the second to start crying as soon as you're a-okay

he mother hens you like no tomorrow when you have an allergic reaction

almost completely at your beck and call

if u two are together, or in that pre relationship flirty stage, he'll lay on you and that'll be his way to make sure you're resting, even if you insist you don't need it.

he's used to having to make note of things like that and setting up accommodations

does not think twice abt it tbh

just nods, thanks you for telling him, and then makes sure wild knows not to make any food with that in it anymore

if something accidentally happens, he is calm and collected.

again, he's probably seen allergic reactions plenty of times, so he knows what to do

he might even go ahead and use you as a teaching opportunity for at LEAST hyrule, tbh

yk how after you use an epipen and your allergic reaction stops theres the really bad cotton mouth and sometimes you'll think it's still going on?

he'll have your mouth open to show hyrule youre a-okay and just need some water now whether you like it or not (if you tell him to back off, or smack his hand, he'll get the point though, don't worry)

again, he doesn't think much of it, and just stashes the information into he back of his mind for later use when needed

much like sky he has the theoretical knowledge of what allergies are, but no practical

unlike sky, and more like wild, he goes out of his way to try and eradicate it from even potentially touching you

lowkey probably scares him, because he's never helped take care of someone with an allergy, and he doesn't know if his healing powers would work on it or not

he'll be like sky (again) and ask you a ton of questions about it. that's a kind of reoccurring theme, dw

he'll feel a lot better about knowing how to help after the first time you have an allergic reaction around him (if ever)

it'll help even more if you stay calm, and if warriors is around to assist, since he kinda knows

after he has that knowledge stored away, he's much more relaxed about it

like.. he still mother hens the food situation to make sure there are none if your allergens in there

but he won't be as twitchy when you eat something at an inn theyre stopping at that doesn't list the ingredients under each item

makes a note of it and moves on, pretty much

its not that he doesnt care, he just...doesnt know what to do with the information

he's thankful you told him, but????

he doesn't really think it's his place to try and make sure youre safe and all that

youve lasted your entire life without someone sticking their nose in your food business

youve lasted allll the rest of your time with the chain just fine without intervention

if it works, why try and fix it?

honestly, the most he might do is tell you to let wild and hyrule know so that the respective cook and healer of the group are aware

if youve already told them he just kinda... moves on.

he won't ever mention it, won't go out of his way to protect you from... food.

of course, there are some slight.. shifts, sometimes, depending on which link that rests in his mind is controlling the most at the moment

vi? does not gaf. he trusts that you're able to take care of yourself

green? will probably give you a little look if you start choking or smth while you eat to make sure youre okay, he just won't bring attention to it unless he thinks something is wrong

red will side eye you when you guys are all eating. if you ask him why afterwards, he'll frown and say he was a bit worried because he was pretty sure the dish had (insert allergy here) but that he's glad youre okay

blue... blue will act like he doesn't gaf, much like vi, but he will definitely glare a little. if you end up asking him, he'll complain about how long it took for you to tell them

he is HYPED about this

not because it could hurt you though

just because he's never met someone with a food allergy, and he definitely has a seasonal allergy of some kind, so he's super excited to see how different they are

he was never really taught about allergies beyond the fact that his makes his eyes all itchy and nose runny

once you explain the differences, he's a bit surprised, that's for sure.

what do you MEAN this random food the rest of us can eat just fine might KILL you???

he's a bit flabbergasted

especially if you're allergic to shellfish or fish.

oh MAN he is so heartbroken about that if so - he'll totally end up approaching you seperately one day and asking if you'd still be safe to go on a boat ride with him and everyone else - he doesn't wanna put you in danger, after all!

he doesn't bother with a lot of worrying for you

he wholeheartedly trusts that you can take care of yourself just fine.

if hes the first person you told though, he WILL be holding that over everyone's head

he will stand by the idea of being your favorite bc of that until the end of time
