Hihi! Can you make a Mafia(secret)!Sung Jin-woo x author!fem!reader? Where the reader is a famous soft hearted author who wrote many kinds of stories which attracted many attention and Jin-woo being one of her fans(in secret) holds a whole collection of her books. He sent his most trusted guards (igris, bellion and beru in human) to watch over her and keep him updated.

He never misses any of her books and is always the one who buys it first (in her official store on online) he doesn’t buy it in person since yeah his a well known mafia in the underground. But on a random Friday, the CEO name Liu Zhigang requested her to work for him as the reader take’s her time to think about it. Thanks to Jin-woo’s connections and wandering guards, he found out about this and immediately made a move, he ordered his men to sabotage Liu Zhigang’s company to keep the reader away from him.

The midnight city throbbed with life, its lights casting a light that could not reach the man sitting behind the vast desk. Sung Jinwoo, the most feared mafia boss in the underworld, stared at the books neatly arranged on his bookshelf. Each title belonged to a single author—you.

To others, his works were simply literary masterpieces, filled with intricate plots and heartfelt characters. To Jinwoo, they were a lifeline. Every word he wrote spoke to a part of himself buried beneath layers of power and violence. The softness, the hope—he found himself drawn to the world he created, a stark contrast to the one he ruled.

Jinwoo’s obsession was a secret he kept fiercely close. Even his most trusted men—his shadows—knew better than to doubt his dedication to your work.

“Keep her safe,” Jinwoo instructed, his voice cold but firm.

Igris bowed slightly, a graceful and elegant figure. “She remains unaware of our presence, my Liege.”

Beru, always eccentric, sneered. “Her schedule is predictable. She spends most of her time writing at home or going to cafes for inspiration.”

Bellion crossed his arms. “There’s no threat yet, but Liu Zhigang’s offer might change that.”

Jinwoo’s expression darkened. Liu Zhigang was a rival, his influence was immense in the business world, both legal and underground. That man had recently approached you, offering you a lucrative contract to write an exclusive story for his company. Jinwoo couldn't allow that.

Beru's smile widened. "What should we do, my Liege? Teach him a lesson?"

Bellion frowned. "Perhaps we shouldn't overdo it. The Liu family has power, any public move might attract her attention."

Jinwoo's fingers tapped lightly on the polished wood of the desk. His expression was unreadable, but his eyes betrayed his determination. "Liu Zhigang is no match for me. No need to be tactful. I guarantee his offer will be rescinded by tomorrow morning."

The shadows bowed and disappeared, leaving Jinwoo alone with his thoughts. He leaned back in his chair, staring at the latest book you had published, the pages worn from repeated reading.

“I won’t let anyone take you away from me.”

Liu Zhigang woke up in chaos. His company, known for its dominance in the media and entertainment industry, was suddenly in chaos. Key investors had pulled out, and rumors of internal scandals had tarnished his reputation. Within hours, his offer to you was withdrawn with a hasty apology.

Unaware of the chaos, you read Liu’s message with mixed feelings. There was something about his offer that didn’t feel right, and you felt relieved that you didn’t have to accept it. However, you couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was watching you, although you chalked it up to paranoia.

“May I sit here?” he asks, his voice soft and deep.

You nod, momentarily speechless.

“I’m Sung Jinwoo,” he introduces himself and holds out his hand.

Your eyes widen in recognition. “The CEO of Ahjin Industries?”

His lips curl into a small smile. “That’s one of my roles.”

As he sits across from you, the atmosphere seems to change. There was something about him that drew you in, something that held you back.

"I'm a fan of your work too," he admitted, his tone softer.

The confession took you by surprise. "You've read my books?"

"All of them," he said simply. "Your stories have a way of… reaching places most people can't. They're remarkable."

You felt your cheeks flush. "Thank you. That means a lot."

Over the next hour, Jinwoo engaged you in a conversation that felt effortless. He asked about your inspirations, your favorite authors, and even your least favorite topics. His genuine interest caught you off guard, and for the first time, you found yourself sharing parts of yourself that you usually kept hidden.

Little did you know, Jinwoo already knew a lot of what you shared. He memorized your interviews, tracked your public appearances, and pieced together your habits. But hearing it from your lips was a different kind of thrill.

As you spoke, you noticed something strange. The way Jinwoo looked at you—it wasn’t just admiration. It was as if you were the only thing that mattered in the world.

That night, Jinwoo returned to his room. In his hand was the notebook you left at the coffee shop. He had no intention of keeping it—just making sure it was returned to you—but he couldn’t help but flip through the pages.

Your eyes lit up in surprise. “You found it! Thank you.”

The two of you eventually left the event together, his presence a comforting contrast to the crowded crowd. As the elevator doors closed, Jinwoo turned to you, his expression unreadable.

“You have no idea how much I admire you,” he said, his voice low.

Before you could react, he leaned down, capturing your lips in a kiss that was both gentle and passionate. The world outside the elevator faded away, leaving only the two of you.

But if some of the S rank hunters had an S/O, I think it would go really badly if someone ever tried to flirt with their S/O anywhere near their proximity.

I mean, the national ranked hunters can essentially do whatever they want without consequences and it’s implied that they don’t hesitate to commit horrifying crimes if pissed off.

Some S ranks are definitely on the nicer sider though (cha haein, lennert)

Still, I don’t see it ending in any other way that a bloodbath for certain people(zhigang, thomas, maybe jinwoo)

The S/O would either not care and be completely desensitized at this point(maybe S/O is also a high ranking hunter used to horrific sights. Or they could really just not be bothered to care)

Or be totally traumatized(yandere?)

Side note, what do you think are the types for S ranks(personality wise)

Oh, good question!

But bear in mind, I already have S/Os in stored for these (most) S-Ranks, though I'd still describe it the best way I can:

Not going to include Dong-soo here because he does not deserve it.

Ma Dong-wook — I don't see him with someone. But if he does have a significant other, I'd say he prefers someone who is gentle and caring just like him. He's the type of guy who separates hunter life from personal life, so Dong-wook would likely settle for someone who keeps him grounded and forget that he is a hunter once he's with them.

Lim Tae-gyu — his coy and carefree personality matches with someone who is quite stoic and will be 100% done of him, but will cherish and tolerate him regardless, along with calling him out.

Baek Yoon-ho — Choi Jong-in.

Eun-seok — based on what we see of him only, he seems friendly and kind-hearted. He looks after people and protects them with every strength he has. I see him with someone who is mature and cares for people around just like him; I doubt Eun-seok will care what rank they are, but the moment his heart beats, he won't stop pursuing them.

Min Byung-gyu — his type is simple. Someone who understands him and loves him the way he does to them. He's the type of guy who will take someone out for a nice, sweet date, and then geek about history. He prefers to be with someone who is on the same level as him in terms of personality, since I don't think he'll go for someone tough, rather a person who has the cutest smile ever that can make his heart melt.

Choi Jong-in — Baek Yoon-ho.

Lennart Niemann — whether he denies it or not, his type is the exact opposite of him. He likes adrenaline, likely to give him headaches, but gives the best hugs ever.

Thomas Andre — someone who is done with him, but will easily melt the moment he shows a tint of affection.

Liu Zhigang — we know that he's a busy guy who protects his people and be his country's finest hunter alive, so I think his type should be someone who does not care about his status and treats it like it's not of a big deal like "oh, he's going out there to fight? Not even surprised."

Sung Jin-woo — he probably hasn't thought of what his type should be, so I guess he will just have to wait for his heart to "click" once he meets that certain someone, specifically who will appreciate him for what he is and on par with his skills.

Cha Hae-in — this girl has been exposed to spotlight ever since she awakened as an S-Rank, therefore a lot will only adore her because of what she presents in public, not her true self that she'd never show. She prefers someone who will see beyond that spotlight of hers and treat her like a human being, as well as not smelling bad for her senses, which will be a struggle for her to go on a date.

As for the Japanese S-Ranks, I sadly have no idea since my headcanons on them aren't exactly that big jagsajdgsdh (ask @pain-suffering-even if you still wish to know)

Side note: will it go badly if someone attempts to flirt with the S-Ranks' S/Os? That depends on the personality. If you're talking about the tough S-Ranks (including Eun-seok bc of personal headcanons), then you should pray for your dear life. As for the nicer S-Ranks, nothing to worry about, except that you'd get a death glare or they'll be clingier with their S/Os.

SCRAPPED: MANA OVERLOAD

scenario/ramble: behold my scrapped art of the concept i had ahahahhahahahah I actually have jinchul and thomas in my drafts but like i hate how they ended up SOOOO anyway here!!! I'll ramble a bit on the three because it feels way too weird to also include thomas and jinchul because they're... not there so yeah anyway this was supposed to be around the concept of mana overload and how this screw up their psyche and YOU will be acting as a researcher who will help to facilitate them because higher ups said so! anyway the main idea is two of them (jinchul and hae-in) would be 'cured' or whatevr.. but they used to be patients they were just given jobs on the facility just to prove themselves and blah blah which is why u shouldn't trust hae-in or even jinchul for the matter.. erm and of course we have the national hunters who r complete psychos and the main reason why ure there LMAOO you can try to guess which one of them threatened the department to put you in their block but it's one of them for sure!! okay anyway if uve read allat tysm anyway ill work on something else and hibernate again baiaiai ALSO!!! U MIGHT WANNA CHECK REBLOGS CAUSE CAUSE i add doodles so hehe pls ���

also ignore ugly layout I've been struggling how to organize it and I HATE ITTTT don't mention it to me please i swear I'll compensate by writing a fic or making something else pls.... 😭
