This is random but I actually wanna talk about yandere simulator and the developer.. As you know, Alex. Aka the yandere dev has been exposed for sexual assault , harrasment and more. Some of you guys had asked me if I still supported him because I am currently writing FOR yandere simulator so my answer is no. I want to clarify and verify that I do NOT support yandere dev for whatever God knows he has done to the poor girl. I only write about yandere simulator because I love the game, but not the dev. Starling went through quite a few redesigns through the entire development process so let me talk about it a bit :3

It all started with this notes app drawing I made with my finger

Right from the start we knew his tail would be made out of tongues but figuring out how many and placed how was quite hard, I really had to girlmath my way thru

This was the first actual drawing I made of him. The story wasn't complete yet but I went ahead and designed something anyway. Here he was definitely "scarier" and his scar was also placed differently. He had gills on his neck but as you will see I changed their location to under his arms later on. We were actually considering not giving him a tongue of his own so I wanted to make his mouth terrifyingly big and empty.

Here I tried giving him bigger eyes like a fish. This was when his playful and childlike personality had started shaping as you can see from the expressions. I definitely liked this direction better but it also wasn't perfect just yet so I went ahead and did a few more changes

I slowed down on trying to figure out his design a bit after that and instead focused on how his sprite would look. He is a merman after all, he can't just stand straight like a lot of the other visual novel characters. This stage was PAINFUL.

These were the first ones I sketched, we ended up deciding we liked the 3rd one the best.

I carried that 3rd one over to another canvas and started playing around with how we could place his tail, we started entertaining the idea of having him sit on a big rock

This is when his pose really shaped up. The animated Little Mermaid movie was actually a big inspiration, I sat and rewatched the entire movie and studied how they animated her tail

And after that I finally finalized his design. We decided to change the end of his tail to be more eel like for aesthetic purposes (normal tail shape looked weird with tongues)

And for anyone wondering this is what Maelyn looked like at first. Since the story wasn't complete yet I thought it'd take place in a more modern setting and designed her with that in mind but we decided to have the story take place in 1800s so I changed the design based on that. I did a lot of research on glasses and corsets to make the design as accurate as I could.

Yes glasses! We didn't use the sprites in the main story but Maelyn does wear glasses and looks very pretty in them if you ask me. You will be seeing more of it in the bonus episodes!

I'm starting to make storyboards for the comic a little bit

in the process I ran into the problem that... Well, I need to come up with a design for Y/N, I know that in fact y/n should not have a design (because basically it's you), but a simple character template will not look very good in a comic for my idea

Now I'm thinking about the character design:

And I do not know what to do, it is easier for me to draw y/n in male forms, but I also remember that I need to strive to draw non-specific forms of the character (or neutral, as it is correct to call it). These are the little problems I have now, I'm thinking about it out loud, maybe these difficulties in drawing will be familiar to you ^^

From time to time I see notifications with likes of my not quite au with rsa!mobs. Also considering that I liked Neigh from the very beginning and wrote fics about him, one idea came up. I will regret it very much, very much, but..

As if, now my old-new impression of the characters is like this.

Here they are from left to right:

Aro, - we'll leave the names as they were originally intended, in order to honor of the original author - the quietest and most suspicious of the three. You're walking down the street, there he is. You went into the store to buy some groceries, he's standing in front of the checkout. You went jogging in the woods, and there he is, too.

His image plays into his hands as many times as it takes. At some point, you notice him in the distance or, on the contrary, very close, it doesn't matter, and you begin to consider him part of the background. Who are you to bother him, right?

A huge miscalculation on your part. Because when he actually approaches you to talk for the first time - for any reason - you won't suspect anything strange. The one who will be watching you from the far end of the street, on the opposite side, and when you give in and come over to clear things up, he will drop to one knee and propose marriage right then and there. Ignoring your completely unimpressed gaze, he will look at you with his glowing, childlike eyes.

Getting rid of him is some miracle, no doubt, but you return to the dorm, and there is a pair of white doves with a wreath waiting by the door. Where did he even find them? Are there any companies that provide services of specially trained birds that deliver boxes? What do you mean, there is a whole dovecote of them in the RSA? What do you mean, you will receive flowers and gifts regardless of whether you want them or not?

As soon as you give up on trying to appeal to his working brain cells - you have already convinced yourself that he does not have any - he will jump up and start apologizing for his behavior, simultaneously adding compliments to you in his speech. At some point, you come to terms with the fact that the whole street is watching the unfolding scene. No, you are not filming a teen drama. No, you are seeing him for the first time in your life. No, he is not crazy… although, perhaps, people are right about that.

However, you get the idea that it will be impossible to break up with him.

You work as a researcher for the mysterious Daedalus Laboratory. You send plants into different worlds to see how the worlds affecting them. However, recently you noticed that most of your coworkers have disappeared, including your lab supervisor.

Still, you have to keep working to prevent termination. Will you be able to balance work and communicating with the employees who remain?

This game is part of the Let Me Remind You series that I am working, which are games about art, nostalgia, guilt, and memory.

This game also features some new characters to the Let Me Remind You universe and...Zecharias in a new outfit? Hmm.

Sorry about the quality again, I don't like how it sometimes cuts the drawings but I'll settle💔. I've never actually drawn human Alastor till now, but I do like how he turned out so o(≧▽≦)o!

In not gonna do the math about their ages, and I don't think it'd line up w/Canon, but ik Angel died around the 40s near his 20-30s so he'd had lived two decades prior. I'm pretty sure Alastor died around the 20s, not 30s, but that doesn't matter - the point is, Angel would've been a kid before Alastor yknow, died. (Don't take my word for it, I'm probably wrong, but in this lil comic, that's how it is😔) Angel's around 8yrs old and Alastor is somewhere in his late 20s or early 30s (teehee Alastor w dimples🙂!)

Angel playing around with a dead deers head WILL be explained, trust!🙏 I got the idea of domino's bc I think it's a nice game to bond over, also I just like the game and I remember my Dad teaching me how it works so FATHER AND SON MOMENT RISE!💥💥 Anyways, Angel's childhood won't align w Canon (sorry, so ooc, but I like it☹️).

Househusband Part Two

(Recap of Part One) (Househusband is named Angelo) (Thirteenth Official Post)

He made sure his makeup was pristine and that his hair was perfect, then he hopped downstairs and put on a coat, some gloves and then began to head over to your house. Although, he pauses and doubles back to grab you a housewarming gift (luckily, he had baked some cookies earlier today) and then marches across the street. He knocked on your door and straightened the skirt of his dress, he hoped you wouldn’t mind such a late visit. He hears scuffles from your house and can’t help the stunned expression that graces his face when you open the door. Why, he’s never seen such a gorgeous human before! ————————————————————

You were simply putting away some boxes, empty of course, when you heard a knock on your door. You glanced at the kit-cat clock you had just hung up and furrowed your brow, it’s 10:30. That’s far too late for visitors, you gulp, steel your nerves and grab a baseball bat (for safety). You crack your door open, hiding your bag behind the door, and your eyes analyze the stranger on your door step. He’s silent for a moment, his eyes roving over your body, and he seems to be mesmerized. You contemplate closing the door when he finally talks. He clears his throat and holds the plate of cookies out to you. “Hello there, my name’s Angelo. I’m your new neighbor!” He smiles, far too happy for your liking, I mean he’s practically glowing.

His smile is so bright, that you have to hold a hand over your eyes to protect them from blindness. Your gaze is cast towards the plat of cookies he offered, and you hesitantly reach for one. Although, you do, of course, worry that maybe you shouldn’t take a stranger’s cookies. But this is the 1950s and if you know anything from the reruns of my three sons and that Beaver Show, (those are real shows, look them up) then you can trust your neighbors. So, you grab a cookie and take a bite, suddenly all seems right in the world, and you feel so unexplainably happy. Angelo waits patiently for your response, though he suspects you enjoyed it (it’s quite obvious by the blissful expression on your face). He silently stares at you, burning your joy into his mind. He sighs, seemingly lovesick, he doesn't understand why he feels this way, but he knows he likes feeling this way. Your attention his redirected to him when he clears your throat, and you suddenly feel quite bashful for your display of jubilant. You clear your throat and speak, after finishing the cookie, of course. “Ahem, you’re quite the skilled baker, thank you for the housewarming gift. Assuming, that they’re for me.” Angelo’s heart races when you compliment him, he gets overwhelming gleeful when you thank him. He physically restrains himself from hugging you. “Oh, you’re welcome and yes, they’re for you.” He’s so caught up admiring you that he almost forgets why he came over. He hands you the plate of cookies, which you willingly take (with one hand because the other is still holding the bat). “I should probably apologize, it’s so late, and it must be so strange to have your neighbor come visiting.” He has a hand on his mouth, his brow furrowed as he apologizes.

He clasps his hands together and just as he’s about to apologize, you speak. “It’s alright, back in my old town I would always get late night visitors.” Angelo gets mixed feelings by your response, but he brushes them off and asks to come inside. “Would it be too presumptuous of me to ask if you would invite me inside?” He inquires politely, though he expects you to reject him. He hopes you’ll let him in and then maybe you two could become fast friends. You consider his words for a moment, you shouldn’t let him in, but he did give you cookies and he seems harmless.

Plus, if he tries anything, you could easily over power him (he looks rather weak). You shrug and allow him inside, once he enters (with a wide grin) you out your bat away and close your front door. Hopefully, this decision wouldn’t be one of your regret.

(Enjoy this short fan fiction and I apologize for such a late post.) (This wasn’t exactly what I wanted from part of Angelo’s story, but I can always revise it later. I don’t know how long it’ll take for part three, but it’ll come out… One day.)
