so true! damn it, what's going on with people ;-; somehow i thought that the yandere vns fandom was calm and friendly enough, but it seems like not having fun and doing things your way is bad now please, everyone who are getting bullied, judged harshly for nothing, being forcefully put into guilt, be safe and take care of yourself. love you all

I would like to address a recent trend I am seeing pop up in the yandere community. I feel that people are kind of pointing fingers at each other trying to decide who is more morally correct than the other. And I find it a little silly. We're here for hot stalkers. None of us are consuming moral fiction.

I sympathize with Fantasia and the backlash she is getting because of her recent update to her game. I still stand by my belief that devs should write what they want before they let themselves be influenced by outside opinions. It is her choice and her game first and foremost. Not to mention it's her first one and being thrown in the spotlight while you're making your first game is a pretty horrible experience. Because you don't know much about the process of making games or what you even ultimately may want to do with your game. It's a trial and error type of thing. And you can't make everyone happy. I still support her and encourage her on her creative journey and I hope the finished game is something she will be proud of.

I also understand that the game originally looked like a yandere romance game and it did not turn out to be that. So people are upset and feel betrayed. Some have spent money thinking they'd enjoy it and the recent update may have changed that. I understand, but I ask them to be understanding themselves and give their feedback without harassing or insulting the dev.

At the same time, I'm observing some weird new mentality in this attempt to support Fantasia. Now, we are claiming that "realistic" yanderes are superior? And that people who enjoy softer yanderes are delusional idiots who don't belong in the yandere fandom? And don't get me started on the word "romanticize." Can we please stop the holier than thou attitude?

We are all in this pig den together. We are all muddy. We are all consuming dark content. One isn't more moral than the other. You are free to prefer yanderes who are cruel and awful and psychotic, but do not belittle the devs and fans who prefer a softer alternative. If someone outside the yan fandom were to look at us, they'd judge us all the same: people who like toxic obsessive love interests. We all know real life stalkers are bad. I am afraid of them everyday. None of us are delusional children and it's insulting and ridiculous to claim so.

Likewise, it's a little silly to claim you can't have darker content in dark fiction. Dark fiction is here to explore the awful parts of humanity without having to worry about morality. It does not reflect on the type of person the creator is. It does not make them an advocate for murder, stalking or sa.

Please be mature. If you wish to criticize, do so in a well thought out way. Do not simply throw around words.

zu's love can be considered a romantic love, but in a bit different and deeper meaning - zu's attached to us like we're his most precious thing, the safest person, maybe a bit of 'the meaning of life' thing. (i don't think it's healthy, don't do that in real life pls) there are no other love interests, but there's a subtle storyline about a different character falling in love with MC. it can't be mutual, MC only can be with zu there are three yanderes: 1) zu (the most safe and calm one), 2) __ (depends; it's the main yandere in the game) and 3) _____ (very dangerous), which is obvious even in the demo, so you can guess who and what they are

in magenta world, people don't care about human-android relationships much. BUT of course there are people who hate such things, who think it's weird etc., like "Dude, I bet you'd fall in love with your vacuum cleaner as well, ew", "THEY'RE NOT HUMANSSSSS RARRGHHHHH WEIRDOS", "They're not real people, loving a soulless creation is wrong" but people who fight for android rights.. well they think that androids = humans so they are happy with that usually couples (human x android; android x android) adopt a human child, because, well, officially, the communication center doesn't create android babies since the babies can't grow (physically). it's not cool to stuck in a baby body forever. if they want an android child, they adopt an adult one - many androids love to play a "human life", everyone wants to have a family, so androids can agree to become some couple's grown up child to 'feel the love and family ties' we won't mention weird underground dudes who create baby robots then transport their 'brain' into a bit older robo-child body after some months/years, then into teenager etc. it's forbidden, but you know, sometimes people are so desperate about having a 'real, natural' family with growing kids. so they can pay some money to make their wish come true :-) but it'll include one of the two options: 1) the AI will be just the default adult one, and it can cause some 'mental problems' since the android is forced to be a damn infant, then a child... imagine being a grown up person forced to play a baby role. that's damn hard and unfair 2) the AI will be modified, and some parts of it will be suppressed and erased at the 'baby' step, but will be evolving with every life's step. that's not cool, it'll have some consequences - when you forcefully change and shape, sculpt something in android's mind and algorithms, it can be damaged severely without you even noticing don't worry, i'm bad with English as well, let's become a team

the second post about random things i just cooked my first handmade pasta . do you already love me just because of that fact anyway, since this blog is not only magenta-related, some time ago, I felt a great need to make a weird dating sim (not immediately ofc, only write down some ideas since i was already busy with magenta), it was around halloween period. but i was too lazy and tired so i only made some quick sprites and two backgrounds lol, I don't think this thing will ever be released but maybe, ONE DAY, i'll do something with it after finishing magenta look they're all so cute and friendly

hello!!!!! how's the weather in France today? :D ofc ofc! - you can consider zu a bit defective. things like that happen when you're not created by professionals i guess :-) not fully socialized, attached to MC to an unhealthy maximum because they're the most stable constant that guarantees safety and does not pose a threat. a safe space which needs equal and mutual protection (you wouldn't be comfortable living with his mind and thoughts, it'd be tough) MC's here to help heem to adapt and feel better anyway, so let's be patient with him :-p - i once received a review which told me that the relationships between MC and zu are very inc*st-like. so, um, as an another fun fact for you - they're not in in...t-like relationships, MC doesn't see zu as their child, zu doesn't think that MC is his parent. MC can be very protective towards zu because they literally feel responsible for him :_l - zu is not The yandere character in the game :D there's around three of yanderes, and zu has the least yandere traits (yet they're still present). guess who's the main one - zu doesn't care about his looks much - he reads a lot of stuff to know how to take care of a person in any state . he makes his own conclusions from the info, so his methods of taking care are a bit weird sometimes - zu's name color code is magenta (so unexpected) :D colors have a role in the game - zu was created very randomly. i just felt like i wanted to make a visual novel, then started to draw a grumpy creepy robot. he was meant to be much more creepier, like a skeleton-thin pink alien with a dead gaze, very dangerous and aggressive - he doesn't understand the "pet" thing, he wouldn't ever get an animal pet for himself cuz "Just feed it and make sure it's healthy? Okay, but for what?" - he has your old clothes in his closet. "What if you'll need them again? No need to throw them away." - he knows everything about your biological processes :D and asks you to make full medical check-ups from time to time - he loves u --- why are my posts bigger every time

let's go !!! >3< (btw, a lot of things changed since the demo, so ignore whatever I wrote in the demo lol, it's not true anymore) zu's job often changes. for example, "wow, my bestie (MC) likes this cafe so much, I need to find a job near that place then, to see them through the window of my work's building <3"; "MC told me that they like the office 'vibe'? well i'm an office worker now lol". etc etc! but somehow our MC managed to make zu stop changing jobs so often. for some months already, he works as an IT-specialist for some Very Cool company he's rich because . . he doesn't need to eat . .. or buy new clothes ....... or worry about his health too much ........ so his money kinda just stay in his bank account. sometimes he buys stuff for MC ... eh ... yes that's like the only way he spends his money :D well, and taxes and if zu needs any fix or repair, MC usually pays for him. even if MC is not the richest person in the world, they still want to pay for that pink dude ... : D (it doesn't mean that every android is rich. many of them just adore being all human-ish: buying new clothes, styling themselves etc. especially talking about android models that are different from zu (I'll explain it later, his model doesn't need clothes); some of them really desire to be as close to human as they can, so they buy food and skincare productions to mimic eating and healing/making their 'skin' healthier)

AS FOR LORE, I'm really bothered by the topic of AI "Art creation". is their singing - an art, a cultural product? what about their drawings? photos? poems and prose? while I'm completely sure that in OUR real world anything AI-created can't be considered an "art", in the world of Magenta things are a bit... more tough and complicated androids are considered as real people with equal rights there, but..??? are they humans? by public main opinion - yes. but it's still an AI, isn't it? but then it's time to think what's the difference between AI and human mind. a stupidly hard thing to discuss, no wonder there are so much conflicts around the topic you'll meet such character as Linda - the first android who started to work as a voice actor. it's not a surprise that her persona gets so much attention, both positive and negative. it was a weird thing to write about since Linda was made by me just some months before that big VA strike, and I developed some uhhh weird and not the kindest feelings towards Linda... :/ another interesting persona is Laurett, a very famous singer with an almost fully robotic body, yet still - she's a human. she still has her natural vocal cords, her brain is the same, too. basically a living walking paradox of the Ship of Theseus; isn't so judged as Linda, but just the same interesting topic to discuss at the beginning, I wanted to create a simple dating sim with one android lover, but the more I work on it, the more I think deeper about the magenta world's inner conflicts and think about my own opinion

Take your time! Remember, it's important to have discipline when resting too, don't take it as the time to do all the minor work before returning to big tasks. Resting properly is important. Stay safe! :)

'real' resting is impossible, I think, since we, humans, (almost)always try to do at least something small even during rest to seem productive/don't feel guilt etc etc (ᗒ⩊ᗕ) but you're completely right, rest is rest, no tasks included, and I hope you live with that motto!!! (our mini-community needs to come up with our own weekends when we will do nothing (adequately). let's say that every second and fourth Sunday of each month is our well-deserved day off!!!!. (haha not counting school and work - only our free time after that))

break time

i'm going to take a rest from working on the game. it has a lot of progress already (i'm happy about that and proud), and I feel like i need to have some separate time from working on it ^^ I will still post some lore stuff, maybe do something for the game from time to time, but I just wanted to make it official so i wouldn't be guilty about doing "nothing" during this rest period. I was forbidding myself to work on other projects, being guilty for not doing the project that people are waiting for :D it doesn't mean that I'm going to forget about the game for ages, no way, but YEAHHH, I NEED to work on something else :_DDD before that, I'll write something about the game progress at this point: the plot plan is fully finished. not mentioning some big additional content (some sort of "True Ending", I'm still doubting if I should add it in the game or just post it as a free small DLC some time after the main release, probably the second option), the dialogue-lines-part is almost finished. from the three main branches of the plot/endings: the first: finished, will need some checking and fixes when the others are finished too the second: almost finished, will need some fixes as well the third: ready for 40% or around that the pre-branches part: finished, but needs some polishing after that, I'll take some time working with audio, then ui stuff; then me and my friend will check through the game and fix and change etc etc. I'm proud of the progress I made, even if I wasn't able to work for some months due to some heavy reality stuff. thank you everyone for your support, for donation (it helped me so much THANK YOU THE PERSONS I DON'T KNOW YOUR NAME!!!!!
