I only have concept ideas for them/their personalities and some of their physical features— haven’t really taken the time to flesh them out like I’ve done for Midnight Sun. (The names are also a work in progress too.)

There’s Caspian/Cassia— the resident Pirate King/Queen; who can also be your ex-lover (if you choose an even angstier route). Though it’s canon that you were once close regardless. They absolutely hate your guts after you abandoned them without an explanation— barring a brief letter.

Rowan is your former best friend, but they don’t seem to truly mind with how long you’ve been gone— all that matters is that you’ve returned. If you haven’t picked up the vibe; Rowan is definitely a Yandere type character…

Another character is Atlas, a siren that is kept alive due to a bargain that they’ll take you to where you need to go. Can you actually trust them at their word though? After all, we’ve all heard tales of what happens to someone that gets caught unaware when near them.

The final, but no less important, character is Noel/Noelle… Your current best friend, or the closest thing you can call one, who also happens to be an heir to the very country you’re going on this bounty for— it being their very hand that stayed your rather immediate execution. Was it a punishment or something more that made them go with you? You’ll just have to figure that out.

There’d probably be two more ROs… but we’ll see what happens whenever I get around to actually working on the story. For now my focus is Midnight Sun.

Pairing: Romantic

His personality is inconsistent between Bioshock and BaS.

He's supposed to be charismatic as he is a rebellion leader.

But he is also cold and cruel like his original identity.

Due to this I would probably write my Atlas trying to always hold a facade.

Yet as the obsession with his darling grows, the mask slips.

Atlas is the friendly persona created by Fontaine to get Andrew Ryan off his back and create trust among his followers.

He brought people together with his charming charisma and inspiring speeches.

He easily comes off as your pal... someone you can trust.

When in reality he's still twisted like Fontaine, willing to use people to get power.

Atlas would be Seemingly caring, Manipulative, Obsessive, Possessive, Controlling, Ruthless/Merciless, Deceptive, and a bit Sadistic.

His whole thing is lying.

His true nature is a megalomaniac who's greedy and selfish.

But as Atlas he can easily obtain his darling with just a few remarks.

Atlas could've met you as Fontaine or sometime during his campaign as Atlas.

As Fontaine, getting you to like him was harder.

He's an asshole... a bit of a creep back then too.

As this new persona, Atlas can flirt with his darling and maybe even get a reaction from you.

When you meet Atlas, interested in his cause or not, for some reason he gravitates to you.

Cigar in hand the leader grins towards you.

Like you're something special.

You feel special when he looks at you.

You have no idea he's planned everything when it comes to winning you over.

The moment he pulls you aside and speaks to you in a sultry tone... you're hooked.

Atlas talks to his darling in a caring demeanor.

He drinks up everything about you and listens to you speak.

You're the one person he can truly be invested in.

Atlas would do things such as take his darling out for dinner and compliment them.

He portrays himself as the dream man.

The moment he has his first intimate moment with you, he's caught you hook, line, and sinker.

Once Atlas knows he's an important part of his darling's life he starts to manipulate you more.

Atlas doesn't need to worry about jealousy if he has you wrapped around his finger so tightly.

If he sees you getting too friendly with someone else then he'll pull you over to him.

An arm around the waist with a kiss certainly gets the message across.

Atlas would tell you that he's the only one who cares for you this much.

He wants to break you down just enough to make you stuck to him like glue.

He's cruel like that... selfish to the core.

Even when Atlas is away from you, thoughts of you cling to his mind like rot.

He's obsessive and can't stay away from you for long.

He also seems to be the kind of guy that uses physical affection and PDA to send a message to those around him.

You're his and he won't mind killing anyone who thinks otherwise.

Atlas may even be a fan of biting your neck when kissing you to leave a mark.

He's selfish which is why he's so possessive.

He's always been a greedy man and you happen to be valuable to him.

Even more so if you've eluded him for so long when he was Fontaine.

If all that wasn't a red flag, what he does to others must be.

He'll kill others if he hates them around you.

Doesn't matter who they are either.

They'll be threatened as their first warning.

Some don't even get a warning, just a bullet lodged in their brain.

He finds it funny at times that someone could be so bold.

He may even ask for their torture first.

Atlas would "kidnap" but to keep up his facade he disguises it as something else.

Maybe he keeps things subtle?

After an intimate night he locks the door to your room, leaving a recording to tell you he's heading out for a bit and will be back later.

He wants you to stay in the room.

He does this so often but you love and trust him... so you stay.

Soon his facade will slip and you will see it.

You're going to know how much of a monster he is and try to flee from him.

But by that point it's too late... he's already trapped you in his twisted embrace.

I actually have a couple of fic ideas/concepts that I haven't written yet because the idea isn't fully fleshed out or started writing but stopped because something about it just wasn't working for me.

A few of those concepts:

a hitman wife fic that takes place some time after she finds out she's pregnant and she and Barry try quitting their jobs. I've always imagined that leaving was not an easy process for them and things getting really dangerous. I've written a few different outlines for this type of fic but idk they just didn't totally work for me

a teen daughter fic inspired by the Taylor Swift song You're On Your Own, Kid. I think it would fit because he calls his daughter kid a few times throughout those fics but I have no real plot ideas right now

a shower sex fic ironically titled Clean. I like/read smut from time to time but I feel like my smut writing would be terrible so I haven't even attempted this. Also Barry the tv show doesn't really have a lot of sex scenes in general. It's kinda tame compared to several other HBO shows. I never felt a strong need to write this fic

Thinking of Azula going Ivan the Terrible on the servants prepping Reader for the banquet. Gushing praises of how perfect Reader looks and how their beauty will ignite the passions of their guests to support the Fire Lord in the war with every resource they could provide! They breath a sigh of relief: Azula is pleased. Until she reveals that they will now be blinded so they could not dream to attempt to recreate Reader's beauty on an unworthy individual in the future.

There is no doubt that she would do just that. Azula would already be jealous that the servants got to see and touch Reader as is. But then they’ve made Reader even more exquisite and as awed as she is she can’t bare the thought of the servant trying to replicate the same beauty on anyone else. Not like anyone else could compare to her darling but she’s not taking any chances.

Azula would even go as far as blinding them herself. Maybe she’ll even take some limbs off too. A few fingers? A hand? Maybe a whole arm? What better way to ensure the servants can’t replicate something if they can’t work at all?

Ozai would only praise his daughter for her thinking, agreeing that no one else shall ever bestow the same beauty as their darling Reader.

While I’ll write things for 1ps i’ll also write for the 2ps and nyos/genderbent characters: I don’t write the 2ps as murderous, but (for the most part) are more edgy and harsh, the nyos have the same personality as their original counterparts

Yandere content, it's not for everyone for sure, but I have no problem writing it

Aus! High school, college, fantasy, zombie apocalypse, human, a pre-existing franchise, whatever, pretty much everything is on the table in this category

Platonic, romantic, and familial themed stuff 

I have no problem writing smut, I’ll always include it under the cut: Some extreme or taboo kinks are allowed, though I'll make the final judgment on if I'm comfortable writing it or not

Comfort: I get it, sometimes there’s a heavy subject that happens in real life and you just want one of your comfort characters to help you out, just make sure the first thing you say in the request is “comfort request” and I’ll include it under the cut with the necessary trigger warnings

What I will not wright

Extreme violence, blood and gore are wholly unnecessary

Relationships that are inherently abusive in nature, for instance, a "romantic" relationship between an adult and child (I do not care "how old the country actually is", I'll genuinely start tweaking if I get another request like that for a micronation

You die and are reincarnated into Earth 928B - in the very place your current self-exclaimed fictional husband resided in. you don’t know how much i love gushing about otome games and my harem of husbandos (also lmao i’ve outed my terrible tastes here)

pc games

steam prison // so so good, definitely recommend! my only complaint is that you can’t romance Good Boi finn (by proxy depriving us of that wonderful cyrus/sachsen banter), but i guess i can settle for adage lmao. hits a very good balance between humour and seriousness, but it’s a really long game to complete

nightshade // honestly, one of my absolute favourites ever. ost is kickass, sprites are gorgeous, and the plot is pretty good. they’re literally all such good beans ugh i love them all. depending on the play order you do, and whether you do the bad ends or not, it can be not-too-painful sad to wow-just-rip-my-heart-out-and-stomp-on-it sad. goemon is honestly the best though, just saying

hakuouki // i’d recommend both games, but if you can’t afford it, then get edo blossoms, since that’s where most of the romance is. also, they get their western uniforms in that one!!! hachiro is still my best boi (sorry okita, heisuke, harada, and everyone else). suuuuuper long to play through, i think it took me ~60 hrs to complete everything, but it’s a labour of love

amnesia // okay, i trashtalk this a lot, but it’s a solid game except for when they did my boi toma dirty >:c ikki is definitely best boi though. some routes are better than others (read: toma’s route is pretty meh while everyone else has pretty great ones), but ukyo arguably has the best and saddest one. i feel like this is almost an otome staple at this point lmao

nameless // another classic and favourite of mine! yandere galore, more than a little heartbreaking, and wow just wow overall. they’re all such sweet guys (yes, tei and ??? included), and the side characters are all fantastic and very memorable. it’s kinda long though, i think 50+ hrs to finish everything, but oh my god is it worth it. i teared up quite a few times

ozmafia!! // a controversial choice, but i loved all the characters in it, and in the end, the plot did pay off. it just feels like a very cramped and rushed game at times, but the characters make up for it, honestly. i’m just mad over how they did my boi hamelin so fricking dirty #JusticeForHamelin #HamelinDidNothingWrong yes i’m still salty about it

cinderella phenomenon // highly recommend this one since it’s free! it’s probably my favourite oelvn to date -- beautiful art, great storyline, and wonderful characters except when they did my boi varg so so dirty :c the last 2 routes are definitely more painful than the first 3, and way more important to the plot.

the rose of segunda //another oelvn i highly recommend! pretty, a great read, and lovable characters. there’s a secret romance too, and holy god it was so good! frederique and mc are so great together, and i honestly fell so hard for leopold because w o w  i love me an ambitious man like him

monochrome heaven* // i have so many feelings about this one, but i’ll still recommend it lol. it’s very...depressing and can get difficult to read at times. honestly, it says a lot when the worst boi turns out to be the best boi. i remember just feeling so hollow after finishing the game, but it was worth the hours i invested

‘till death do us part* // a very questionable addition to this list, but i really liked it. marcus and jack are probably the most ‘romantic’ of the bunch, but i guess it’s not really an otome game

boyfriend to death 1 & 2* // 2 more questionable choices a la the above, but i enjoyed them both. lawrence, damien, and strade were my favourite guys

ikemen sengoku // l o o k, i’m a sucker for the sengoku era, beautiful art, and great casting choices for voices okay??? i like playing softer and more light-hearted games sometimes, and this is the perfect game for that. honestly, every single guy is likable and none of them treat mc terribly (yes, including the yandere, the snek, and the playboy).

ikemen revolution // honestly, the same as the above. a great light read, lovable cast, and beautiful art. also, super stoked for mousse atlas to get over here because i’ve already decided that i’m completely in love with him

ikemen vampire // yeah, i know this isn’t out yet in english, but from what i played of jpn and what i’ve read of translations, i love it already. kinda feels like fate meets otome, and i love all the character designs, voices, and concepts

samurai love ballad party // like ikemen sengoku, but angstier lmao. i don’t really like the art and the sprites, but the story and characters are great, so i don’t really mind. i just wish my faves would stop being such disasters (ieyasu, sakuya, nobuyuki, kotaro)

love and producer/mr love queen’s choice // HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT MY LORD AND SAVIOUR BAI QI/GAVIN???? if you’ve played love nikki, it’s the same kind of grind, but i don’t even care??? the cards are beautiful??? the bois are all so wonderful and cute and perfect (yes, even shady af scientist)???? have i told you how wonderful and perfect my husband bai gege is??? also, download the japanese voice pack, the eng dub is kinda crappy

mystic messenger // so time-consuming, but so addicting lol. very fun, surprisingly dark, and all the characters are great (except for rika, we all hate rika). 707 is my home boi, but saeran is fantastic and i demand a proper unknown route because i want to get terrified by this lovely edgy angsty kid

my last first kiss // i can sell this in 3 words -- childhood friend romance. like, that’s my jam right there. i love the guys and their relationships with mc (fussy ayato is so cute, and mako and taka are so so sweet with mc). super fun and sweet read

lust in terror manor* // an elusive horror otome! it’s too bad it never got properly completed, but i guess there’s some kind of closure? translation’s kinda crappy, but good enough to read. rui and naoto were kinda meh, but hayato was the best boi, sorry i don’t make the rules.

8:  Four pairings (8/2) I love or hate, and why

I think I’ll split this one into four pairings that I love and four I don’t like/don’t care for (because really, I don’t honestly hate any ship at the moment. The ones that I don’t like/care for at the moment is mainly just because they don’t fall under my taste or something just gave me a reason to not like/care for them).

4 Ships that I adore from ARC-V:

1. Rottenshipping/Jestershipping - No surprise to anyone that I still love this pairing. It just works so well. I loved it before Yuri made it canon (one sided anyway) because of the mirror dynamic these two had with them being the exact opposites of each other and I still love it to this day just because of how yandere crazy Yuri is over Yuya in the anime and how over the top protective he is in the manga (speaking of which, we are getting a Sora vs Yuya rematch I guess and YURI BETTER COME BACK TO PROTECT HIS BOYFRIEND!)

2. Pawnshipping - Even though I love Yuya and Yuri together, this is such a close runner up because whole crap, Yugo and Yuri together is just gold. I love the banter between these two and just how many times these two have just screwed each other over in the long run over the course of the series. To this day it sucks that they never really got a full duel against each other but watching, in a way, Yugo and Yuri “teamed” up against Edo and Kaito was still amazing to watch. Nothing more I can say other than the fact that they just are funny together.

3. Genesishipping - I just love the tragic lovers concept for Zarc and Ray and to this day, I don’t know whether I’m relieved or pissed that they didn’t get some kind of backstory in the anime. Considering how bad the writing became at the end, maybe it is a good thing since we as writers can do whatever we want with the material but it still sucks we still didn’t get to see these two interact before Zarc went mad. 

4. Appleshipping - Because this is adorable and episode 117 shouldn’t have been able to pull at my heart stings like that when the writers made Rin not even a character (because even though I really do really like Rin, you literally could have replaced her with a rock and Yugo would have LOVED THAT ROCK. I’m not kidding. She only existed to give Yugo a purpose and because we needed a Synchro Yuzu as sad as that is (but I don’t want to start on that rant again -_-)

4 Ships that I don’t like/care for from ARC-V:

1. Predatorshipping - I used to really like this ship but I don’t know. I think I just get annoyed when I remember the ending of ARC-V and the writers expect me to believe that Yuri and Selena had some kind of connection, other than being the Fusion Counterparts, for Yuri to show up when Selena showed up. Like what? But again, trying not to go on that rant again…

2. Lustershipping - I just never cared for this ship and you can see how much the writers cared for it when they wrote Masumi out of the show. It is sad too. Even though I didn’t care for this ship, I still liked their rivalry and maybe it could have grown on me.

3. Seanceshipping - This is one of those ships that actually does piss me off so much, not because of the whole age thing, no it is because of the fact of Jack’s writing in ARC-V. He shouldn’t have been that important in Yuya’s development, especially at the end! It isn’t even just shipping, I hate when these two are forced together normally because he’s JACK ATLAS! I like Jack but just no! He’s shouldn’t have had all this screen time with Yuya when other characters need it!

4.Serenadeshipping - Again, one of those ships that just angers me because Yuzu was the reason that made Selena turn good in the first place when I feel like it would have done her so much better if Selena went good later on in the show but that’s a discussion for another time.

I highly doubt there was a time he ever was sane.

Despite this he's been praised as a highly skilled artist in Rapture.

He runs/ran many art galleries and is a big supporter of Andrew Ryan.

Being the source of this man's obsession is going to result in a lot of pain and torment for you.

He'd most likely see his obsession as some sort of muse, yes.

When he sees you he decides you're a great source of inspiration to him.

The origin of his feelings doesn't really matter.

Platonic, romantic, either way he treats it the same.

You just have to be his muse.

A muse can be a lover, a friend, or a complete stranger to an artist.

He may even stalk you and take pictures to get inspiration before deciding to pursue you.

I have a feeling Cohen would be relentless with trying to convince his darling they should be his muse.

You're given many invitations to events he's hosting.

He wants you both to get to know each other.

I am not really sure if I should say he has charisma?

Everyone with the right sense of mind knows he's crazy and he doesn't really have a way with words like Atlas for example.

Cohen would make his darling feel pressured into becoming his muse.

Out of fear for what happens if you disobey him.

You see... Cohen is apathetic to the idea of harming/killing others for "inspiration".

You have to play your cards right in order to survive.

Refusing to be his muse will most likely get you hurt or even possibly dead.

Cohen is a dangerous man.

Cohen would use his muse for all sorts of pieces.

He's an artist of many forms.

He'll paint you, sculpt you, he'll capture your beauty in many ways.

You can be clothed, or perhaps even nude if he can manage it.

He wants to depict you in states of pleasure and pain.

Your emotions are pure in his eyes.

Cohen likes to study every twitch, every feature of your form.

As his muse he has countless paintings and sculptures of you.

He's never had so much inspiration over one person.

I wouldn't put kidnapping past Cohen and murder is just canon.

He's coated live people in plaster.

His insanity is what keeps you at bay.

If you tried to leave Cohen would hunt you down.

But if he cares for you any amount... he'll try to make something of it and comfort you.

To him, his "love" for you is just more inspiration.

Cohen is a man dedicated to his craft, even if it hurts his darling muse.

When it comes to Cohen, your fate even as his muse is uncertain.

You may even end up dead by his hands for the sake of art... don't worry, he'll preserve you as his best muse.

These are just the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

Hestia would be content with her darling being in a romantic relationship so long as they’re happy, that’s all that matters to her. And so long as they keep her in their life.

Mama Harley Quinn would be more likely to allow her obsession to date and maybe even get married. She wants them happy and to experience love, excluding the love she already gives them. Besides, she wants some grandkids running around!

Esme would be very supportive and accepting of her darling dating and eventually getting married. As long as her darling is happy then she’s happy.

Iroh would be very accepting and supportive. He wants his darling happy and seeing them in love would make him just as happy. As long as their significant other took care of and loved them just as much as his darling loved them then Iroh would be content.

Eve would be very supportive. She would go as far as being her darling’s wingwoman. She gets a say in who their partner or significant other is and therefore she can ensure their happiness and safety. But if her darling would start to push her aside then Eve would have a problem.

Oberyn Martell would be very encouraging of his darling having a romantic relationship. It’s his belief that they should experience that type of love and happiness. But if his darling’s partner wrongs or mistreats them in anyway, Oberyn will be the first to do something about it.

Ellaria Sand would share Oberyn’s belief, thinking it more than necessary for her darling to experience what other kinds of love there can be. She wants her darling to be happy and fulfilled in every single way possible. But if she doesn’t like their partner or significant other, Ellaria will voice her opinions. She will even go out of her way to find someone more suitable. If her darling is in love no matter what or with who, Ellaria will let them be.

Arwen would be very supportive of her darling being in a romantic relationship. They deserve more than anything to be happy and she couldn’t want for nothing more than their happiness. As long as their partner or significant other treats them right and gives them all the love and care they deserve then that’s all that matters.
