Sure! I actually liked the Songbird in Bioshock Infinite :) Not sure how long this will be but I hope you enjoy!

Yandere! Songbird Concept

Pairing: Platonic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Overprotective behavior, Isolation, Violence, Forced companionship, Blood, Murder.

The Songbird is a yandere that's very platonic in nature.

As he is based on the Big Daddies in canon, he would act very similar to them towards a darling.

The Songbird would treat his darling similar to Elizabeth.

Songbird acts as a protector and would defend his darling with his life.

I set the pairing to platonic for this concept as, unlike your typical Big Daddy, I can't see him having any romantic tendencies.

Or at least anything that resembles it.

Songbird primarily acts as an overprotective and parental yandere.

A good way to imagine a yandere Songbird is if darling replaced Elizabeth. A scenario I'll focus on for this.

Think about it... you're completely isolated in a tower, your only friend being a giant mechanical bird.

Songbird is a huge creature.

He acts more like a dragon guarding his captive than any sort of bird.

The beast, your guardian, easily towers over you and flies around where you're kept.

While you most likely never get to go outside with the Songbird as your protector... think of this;

Getting to fly on the back of the large beast.

Songbird would be very careful when swooping through the air if he knew you were riding him.

One hand of the beast makes you seem so small compared to it.

Speaking of which, Songbird might like to hold you at times.

He'd perch himself on your tower and hold you close, giving you a view of the clouds.

While the idea of having a mechanical bird friend sounds neat... there's a glaring issue.

You're a captive.

Having Songbird as your overprotective yandere means you are stuck in a cage like a bird.

Songbird is meant to be your guardian, yet also your warden.

Your life is meant to be alongside Songbird...

There's no way around it, you're inseparable.

You'll never have a life away from Songbird unless he somehow was slain.

Which is difficult... as everyone in Columbia is afraid of it.

Who could blame them? The destructive power of the Songbird is unmatched.

Songbird is more powerful than most if not all Big Daddies.

You are easily the most protected person ever.

Songbird is not a creature who gets jealous.

While he is technically part human, he is not cognitive enough to get jealous.

Presumably, as before he feels any jealous feelings, he tends to squash whatever may cause them.

Ooof... think of anyone the Songbird sees as a threat to you?

Dead. Dead in many ways nearly instantly.

Not only does the Songbird have talons, it could simply land on a threat to kill them.

You'd be horrified at the blood, yet the Songbird doesn't care.

You only see his once red eyes flicker happily to green at the sight of you.

Your guardian is simply protecting you.

What "friends"? Those were threats.

The only friend you need is Songbird.

He keeps you safe, he cares for you, no one else is needed.

Just your beloved Songbird...

Songbird would listen to most of your commands.

Yet if it means sparing "threats", he ignores them.

To the Songbird, spilling blood is just a way of protecting you.

He'd do anything just to keep you safe.

You don't know what you fear more... his green eyes when staring you down with what you could only assume is affection...

or the red gaze he displays before he kills.

Songbird is one of the scariest yanderes in Bioshock.

I'm not even sure if I can consider him a yandere as most of this is just... Songbird behavior.

Like CANON Songbird behavior-

Either way, Songbird would be a loyal and intimidating companion towards his darling.

The Songbird is meant to protect you and care for you... like the supposedly loving bird creature he is...

Yet that doesn't stop you from loathing his song.

-He panics, pushing through everyone in an attempt to find you again

-He just barely manages to catch sight of you as you turn the corner

-This leads to him following you home

-Soon, he just happens to follow you home everyday, to make sure you’re safe, because he knows how horrible and cruel this world can be, just take it from him.

-It pains him, of course, to see you walking around so innocently, as if the world was just so damn perfect.

-The more he watches you, the greater the urge to protect you!

-One day he will just snap, and kidnap you while on your walk home.

-You’ll wake up in what was once Anna’s room, with Booker sitting beside you assuring you that everything is alright, that you get to start your new lives together.

-Of course, waking up tied to a bed with a strange man cooing over you is bound to freak you out.

-Booker HATES IT when you struggle, it only serves to anger him.

-And you do not want to anger him

-He’s prone to having...fits, where he tends to yell and berate you and comes close to hitting you but is never able to follow through.

-He always apologizes profusely after and absolutely smothers you in his love and affection.

Honestly pretty much all of my comfort fics aren't actually very comforting. ^^; They are usually pretty dark. I read a lot of yandere writers and most of my favs write for series I don't even really like that much, but their writing is so damn good I devour whatever they post. I do also like to read a lot of cute little fluff pieces from various writers here on good 'ol Tumblr as well though, so I haunt those a lot. Naming just one is too hard LUL I gravitate towards so many...

💻 Do you do research for your fics? What’s the deepest dive you’ve done?:

I honestly probably do too much research for my fics. I can stress myself out if I write something that's a little off thinking that people will dwell on this minute detail, even though I know that's bogus lol. The hardest I have yet to go is for my Bioshock Infinite fic. I have word docs, spreadsheets, timelines, etc saved for that fic. Any time you write for anything that involves time travel fuckery and alternate times lines YOU ARE IN FOR SOME SHIT AND MANY HEADACHES. But it's also hella fun to write for, so that's a plus. :)

A fun fact is that I learnt to speak this language through Jack and Felix! (I didn’t watch Mark then. He changed a lot though and I watch him more now than Pews.) So I’ll forever be thankful 💕

Just my thoughts.

I think Bioshock(Classic) and Bioshock infinite, the games, are yanderes.

Because both games work for me, unlike Remaster Bioshock 1 and Bioshock 2. 

And plus i REALLY love Bioshock, but i played through classic more then once and its getting a bit tiring.

Bioshock infinite, is ok, kinda makes me want to throw my controller across the room sometimes but its ok.

And this is just my thoughts...

More Atlas content, let's go! This one will be another that starts off kind of strong. I was debating in making it a continuation of the Lobotomy one but I wasn't sure and scrapped it. Here you go :) Used some plot elements I talked over with the requester.

“There’s no use trying to run. This is your home now.”

“Look at you, you’re skin and bones.”

Pairing: Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Manipulation, Kidnapping, Isolation, Starvation, Breach of trust, Forced relationship, Hints to intimacy, Possessive behavior, Attempted mind break.

You had joined Atlas expecting to be saved from Ryan's tyranny. You respected his cause and saw him as someone who could set Rapture right. You're one of his top supporters.

Being so close to the big man has its perks. You had access to luxury goods and held trust between you two. Although, working with Atlas in general has its downsides.

Life or death situations were common during riots, be it bombings or some sort of Splicer issue. You never bothered touching the Plasmid stuff. You liked to keep your mind, while most of Atlas' goons were spliced to the point of madness.

You tried not to say much about the manipulation. Any help was good help and you needed numbers. Andrew Ryan was not an easy target.

While Atlas was the face of the rebellion, you were behind the scenes helping him string things together. You two were partners, in more ways than one. Atlas had eventually suggested more favors than just tactical ones.

You had agreed as he has such a charming face.

As a result, you an Atlas were partners even if no one knew much about you. Atlas was the star of the show while you were the backstage. Honestly, you didn't mind.

You just liked to fight for your cause.

Other than the occasional fight against those trying to silence you, life was enjoyable. Atlas cared for you well and you felt there was considerable progress in your rebellion.

Of course, there's always changes that throw a wrench into the gears of your plans.

A falling out between you and Atlas ruined everything. He always had a possessive behavior with you since you first gave into him. He acted like you were meant for him to use more than be your own person as time went on.

Your fight with Atlas made you want to leave his side. While you still believed in his cause, you didn't believe in him. He was quickly becoming a problem as he chased his goals.

It's become clear in your mind that he only wants power.

In fact, when you confronted him with this he only proved your point. He claimed you were becoming a dissenter to his cause and how you're betraying him for wanting to leave. You tell him you're leaving, that you plan on getting out of Rapture. You tell him it's because he's not fixing Rapture, he's using it.

His response was a snap of his fingers, detaining you on the spot with two of his men.

“There’s no use trying to run. This is your home now.”

He says it with such a cunning grin. He acts like he's won a game and you lost. He orders you to be locked in a room like you were some prisoner.

Like what happened between you two didn't matter... or maybe it mattered too much?

Locked in a room was where you guessed you were meant to rot. It was just like the prisons Ryan forced people into who followed Atlas. The only difference was the visits by Atlas and the furnishings.

Atlas tried to play nice with you at first. He tried to tell you he kept you here because he couldn't let you go. He acted as though he still "loved" you.

You neglected him. You tried to fight for freedom. You tried to escape by kicking and biting at him. That nature of yours was useful in the rebellion... but not here.

All your fighting ever got you here was dark silence and no food.

Fighting him kept your leg chained to a bed. It left you alone to listen to the creaking of underwater metal. Your only comfort was the sounds of distant whales.

You locked yourself in your own thoughts to soften the hunger pains in your gut. You focused on your anger and always stayed silent. When Atlas came in after his "punishment" was done, he faked concern.

“Look at you, you’re skin and bones.” He'd say in what sounds like mock pity. "You need to eat. Let's try again, dear, did you learn anything?"

Regardless on if you wanted to eat or not, the food would end up down your throat. Afterwards, like training a loyal dog, Atlas would test your reciprocation to his affection. It seemed his goal was to retrain you.

He mentions how you acted towards him when you joined. He tells you he loved your cooperation and misses the old times you spent with each other. You don't believe him, but understand the message.

You wouldn't leave this room until you loved him again. Atlas planned to force you to be who you were before. The moment you began to fight again, you'd be locked away with only your thoughts to keep you company again.

It's rinse... and repeat....

Well hello dear anon! Favorite color is Purple simply because it just looks so elegant and soft to me. Favorite season is fall because not only is everything in pretty colors but it gives me excuses to snuggle in blankets and drink hot cocoa because of how cold it is. Tea, i dont like coffee. I have 3 birds. I dont have a preference for music, i like almost all of them besides some rap or HEAVY metal but i do like songs that get me in a calm or upbeat mood. I dont read many actual books too often because i cant often pay attention long enough to really sit through most of them (i have ADHD). I started because i saw pleanty of great writters on this site and i wanted to contribute (besides it gave me an excuse to write about yanderes). Psychiatry. Favorite out of Mark's is either Yandere, Wilford or Host. My Favorite out of Jack's is Robbie and Schneep. My least favorite for both is Ed Edgar and ...um- ... Angus the survival hunter?? (Not because of his character, he is just the one i know of the least). And i dont specifically have one favorite game. Its stuck between Overwatch, Life is Strange, and Bioshock Infinite.

Yandere Elizabeth Headcanons

I was bored and I just finished Bioshock Infinite for like the third time so-

-She’s most definitely a Delusional Obsessive, with some Protective tendencies  

-When you first meet her, it will probably be an accidental meeting on the streets of Columbia

-Like she’ll just run straight into you and apologize profusely

-You’ll tell her that it’s fine and you lock eyes and she’s just like

-Wow you’re so pretty????? Like????

-She knows that Booker is waiting for her but she just has to watch you, at least for a little bit? A little bit can’t hurt right?

-A little bit turns into the rest of the day, only stopping when Booker forcefully drags her away

-In her eyes, you’re her soulmate, the one that she is meant to be with

-She tries to explain this to Booker, but he’s not having any of it, realizing that at this rate, she’s not gonna go anywhere.

-He tries to drag Elizabeth to the next location, but she absolutely refuses, she wants to see her ‘soulmate’ again!

-Booker is just Done at this point and will let Elizabeth see you again, if only to get her to come willingly

-Of course, once she sees you again, she’ll never let you leave her sight again.

-No matter how many times Booker tries to tell her that she’s ‘stalking’ you, she’ll just brush it off as Booker not understanding ‘true love’

-If Booker keeps trying to push the matter, it’s highly likely she’ll break off with him and live undercover to follow you, to make sure you’re safe!

-Once she finally works up the courage to talk to you, she’ll probably know you’re entire schedule, where you live, who your friends are, she knows everything

-Will invite you to ‘hang out’ for some ‘friendly conversation’

-Yeah she’s totally gonna knock you out and bring you to this nice apartment that she has all set up for you!

-It has all your favorite things! The phonograph is playing your favorite song, she has all your favorite clothes, and of course, all your favorite foods!

-She is so excited to start your new life together!

-You? Not so much.

-She doesn’t understand why you keep begging her to ‘let her go’ and why you’re calling her a ‘psychopath’

-Shouldn’t you be happy? Why aren’t you happy? Was something not right? 

-What’s that? You already have a significant other? Well, that’s no problem!

-After all, she so much stronger than them! 

-Just look at what she can do see? She can open up Tears!

-What? Why are you so scared? She’s not going to hurt you not with them anyway!

-She’ll be your Songbird, forever and ever!

Chills ran down your back as you walk through the event. Sander Cohen is a known artist, and psycho, in Rapture. It's a big deal to be invited to one of his clubs and events.

Especially his artistic Masquerade parties.

Everyone knows only certain organizations are given a rabbit mask to go. However, you aren't part of any big organization. Despite such a detail... a mask was delivered to your room.

You thought it was a mistake, in fact you hoped it was. Unfortunately when you check the hand written note... you see your name. There's no mistaking it, you were meant to come.

You didn't know why but was Cohen ever a predictable individual?

As much as you dreaded to go you gave it a shot. You wore the mask with a matching outfit and left. Part of you only went because you wanted to know why you were picked.

Even if you may dread the answer anyway.

Before you even entered the club you got a weird feeling. Giving your name they let you enter without much fuss. Now you're left to wander corridors filled with men and women dressed as rabbits.

You didn't even realize your mask was slightly different than the rest until you saw them.

Looking into their eyes gave you a feeling of fear. Despite looking almost like the rest you felt you were the only prey. Ignoring such feelings you walk deeper in hopes of seeing what you need to see before leaving.

Hopefully this would all be done quick.

You hoped no one would pick you out of the crowd. Even when you walked down some stairs and found the "main event", you hoped you could blend in. This whole event activated your anxiety.

It only worsened when you saw Cohen.

You watch silently as the psychotic artist paints on a canvas. Dancers twirl in front of him with praise. Hesitancy makes your movements stilted as you take your place beside the other guests.

Is this it? Just some painting and praise? Seems... less scary than you thought it would be.

Then there's the sound of hissing electricity and the screams of the dancers.

Your mind nearly doesn't process it at first. You don't realize what happened until the smell of burning flesh meets your nose. Then there's the frustrated yell of Cohen.

"IT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH! You've ruined my muse..." Cohen snarls, the corpses of the dancers now being lifted in the air to be around of the way. The artist tries to soothe his anger before combing the crowd with his eyes. You go to hide behind another guest...

Only for Cohen to make eye contact with you.

You start to have a feeling the slightly different mask was on purpose. His glare of anger turns to excitement when he sees you and he beckons you closer. Your anxieties quickly make you feel ill.

"You! I'm so happy you came, my most important guest.... You will be my muse! Come come!" Cohen encourages, stepping closer to you.

You bite your lip before slowly glancing up at the hanging corpses. Like an actual rabbit you find yourself shaking before being dragged to Cohen. You were going to die....

"Now now... no need to be so worried! My little moth, you'll do wonderful on that stage. I'll paint every moment of your beauty!" Cohen coos before changing his tone. "Don't disappoint. Now dance! Dance for me!"

You're roughly shoved onto the stage, stumbling pathetically as a result. Not wanting to die and succumb to a similar fate of the dancers, you sway yourself into a rhythm to appease the artist. For now... he seems pleased.

"Beautiful..." He breathes. "Your beauty is splendid! Every movement is divine.... You and I are going to be something great!"

You try not to spend too much time on his words, you need to survive.

"I knew I picked out the right one when I saw you... took forever to find you, my muse! But now you're here...."

He swipes a brush against the canvas, observing your moves to the music. You try to keep your movements correct. Yet you can't help but come to a twisted realization...

Have you been stalked?

"Now that I have you... our art will be wonderful! You'll forever be my muse... forever depicted in my art..."

Was he inching near a lever?

"I think there's only one thing that can accentuate your beauty, my little moth..."

Wait, no, please- You did everything right!

"Pain makes the best art, don't you agree?"

With a flick of the lever electricity courses through you. Your mind draws a blank as your seize, each muscle and fiber of your body being burned. Once he flicks it off you collapse onto the floor.

Your senses burn, everything burns. Are you alive or dying? You can't tell... you can barely even see Cohen walking towards you.

"You'll be my greatest masterpiece..." Cohen grins, touching your overstimlulated skin.

"Just you wait and see, MY muse."

Type of Fic: a short. Plot being, darling tries to escape Atlas again (who wouldn't the dude is nuts) and he cements his craziness by giving her a lobotomy (like in the game) as punishment. Whether he finishes the surgery or not is up to you, all I know is that you can theoretically survive a lobotomy. Or not, idk I ain't a doctor

I'd love to! I watched the cutscenes with Atlas in them for Infinite and I'd love to write something similar to that!

Traversing Rapture alone was a dangerous feat. Splicers roamed everywhere and actively hunted each other down. Rapture was a collapsing city consumed with conflict.

To you, the idea of hiding from Splicers like some street rat in a sunken city was better than going back to Atlas.

Ah, Atlas... a revolutionary leader against Andrew Ryan's tyranny. In reality, the two weren't all that different. If anything you found Atlas a bit more sadistic and cruel than Ryan.

Atlas was also your lover. You wish you could say he wasn't... but he was never too keen on the idea of letting you go. You had become an item with him on a whim, he's charismatic and has such a way with convincing people.

When you got closer to him you realized the truth of who Atlas was. He wasn't a charming leader, it was an act. He's cruel, manipulative, and willing to kill and torture to get what he wants.

That very same Atlas tried to be sickeningly sweet with you. He called you his girl, his doll, his lovely lady.... The very same mouth that hurled insults and threats towards others... kissed you with passion and complimented you.

He's a charming monster. One who metaphorically chained you to him to keep you as his. You had no doubts he killed and tortured for you... just so he can keep his claws in your flesh.

There was a certain point you couldn't handle being beside him anymore. His kisses and hold were always too rough. He made you do what he wanted, regardless on how you felt.

That look in his eyes screamed possessive. He always looked at you with hunger as he held you. He scared you... sometimes you feared he'd kill you.

You escaped... you ran the moment you sensed danger within the man who claimed to love you. The Splicers were not much better but with some stealth you could probably survive, right? In all honesty... you had no idea where you were going to go after this.

Escaping Atlas was simply a dream. Ever since his whole crew had been sunk by Ryan, you have been stuck here. It's like you were in a cage, really.

He'd find you at some point... there was no doubt he was looking for you now. You knew he'd never let you go willingly. In fact, many of his thugs swarmed this area.

You felt like everyone was your enemy. Think of your situation, a young women lost in a city that's falling apart. Her lover being a cruel tyrant for "the people"....

Being caught was inevitable. You could only run for so long. As much as you wanted to ignore the truth, the truth would slam back into your face.

Just like the wrench that collided with the back of your head.

By the time you're able to regain your bearings, you're strapped to a chair in a familiar room. The lights blind you and your head throbs painfully like a rhythmic drum

This looks a lot like... the room you and Atlas would frequently stay in? You can't think much without the back of your head ringing in pain. You shake in your restraints, trying to pull them off.

Only to stop when the shape of a hand grips your chin.

"Don't move, doll, it'll only make it all hurt a lot worse."

The tyrant rears his deceptively charming head.

"Atlas...."

"Now where were you running off to, little lady? Needed some fresh air? You know it's dangerous without me around...."

You stay silent, what were you thinking....

"It hurts, really. To think you'd run away from the one I thought you held so dear. Luckily I had one of my men carry you in..." Atlas then leans forward, grinning. "Of course, he hit you rather hard, so I had to correct that by slitting his throat. You aren't getting off easy either, love."

"You really are going to kill me, aren't you-"

"Kill you? I could never. I love you too much for that..." Atlas leans forward to kiss your lips teasingly before pulling away. "I would never kill my doll... however, a man has to correct his lady's behavior, right?"

Your heart drops to you stomach when Atlas turns away only to come back with two tools. A metal spike, and a mallet. Your eyes shakily trail from the tools to his disappointed face.

"I thought you'd be a good girl and listen to me. I guess not... which is where these come in. Normally a doctor would do this but I'd rather do it on you myself, my love."

He pushes your head back and aims the pointed tool near your eye socket. You shake and tell him 'no'. He doesn't listen.

"This is a lobotomy, my dear." Atlas hums, pushing the tool closer.

"You could say it will correct your behavior. I always felt you've been a bit too rebellious for my liking."

You feel the tool starting to prod its way into your skull. Atlas grabs the mallet and grins while blood flows down from your eye.

"How about we change your mindset, love? I promise to be gentle...."

You scream for him to stop... he ignores you and taps the mallet on the tool lodged in your skull.

You felt like you lost a part of yourself after Atlas took you in. In fact, you literally did. Atlas had removed a part of your brain. Some memories from your past were replaced with what felt like blank holes.

Your emotions... were nearly non-existent. Apathy was all you ever felt. Actually... you felt quite hollow.

Atlas didn't seem too upset about it. In fact, he felt it was deserved. Running away deserved punishment... now you wouldn't run away. Now you had to stay by him.

Atlas still kissed you and said he loved you. Even though he mutilated your mind beyond repair, he simply used it to his advantage. Now you were just like he had wanted you.

You were like a doll that listened to his every word. You never showed much emotion afterwards. That only allowed Atlas more control, which kept him happy.

"It's such a shame I had to change you like this, doll...." Atlas murmurs, kissing you once again while holding your cheek. "But if I'm being honest... I like that you no longer fight me with anything now."

He pulls you closer, combing his hands down your back.

"Now you won't run... you won't even rebel..."

Atlas holds your chin upwards and meets your distant gaze.

"You can just be my girl... with none of the added fuss, right, love?"

He kisses you once again, but you don't react.

Being the source of this man's obsession is going to result in a lot of pain and torment for you.

He'd most likely see his obsession as some sort of muse, yes.

When he sees you he decides you're a great source of inspiration to him.

The origin of his feelings doesn't really matter.

Platonic, romantic, either way he treats it the same.

You just have to be his muse.

A muse can be a lover, a friend, or a complete stranger to an artist.

He may even stalk you and take pictures to get inspiration before deciding to pursue you.

I have a feeling Cohen would be relentless with trying to convince his darling they should be his muse.

Everyone with the right sense of mind knows he's crazy and he doesn't really have a way with words like Atlas for example.

Cohen would make his darling feel pressured into becoming his muse.

Out of fear for what happens if you disobey him.

You see... Cohen is apathetic to the idea of harming/killing others for "inspiration".

You have to play your cards right in order to survive.

Refusing to be his muse will most likely get you hurt or even possibly dead.

Cohen is a dangerous man.

Cohen would use his muse for all sorts of pieces.

He's an artist of many forms.

He'll paint you, sculpt you, he'll capture your beauty in many ways.

You can be clothed, or perhaps even nude if he can manage it.

He wants to depict you in states of pleasure and pain.

Your emotions are pure in his eyes.

Cohen likes to study every twitch, every feature of your form.

As his muse he has countless paintings and sculptures of you.

He's never had so much inspiration over one person.

I wouldn't put kidnapping past Cohen and murder is just canon.

He's coated live people in plaster.

You've seen the sculptures.

His insanity is what keeps you at bay.

You fear him.

If you tried to leave Cohen would hunt you down.

He'll kidnap you, maybe even punish you and use your pain as more inspiration.

He's a sick man, completely unfeeling towards the pain he causes others.

He may even yell/get frustrated at your refusal to cooperate.

But if he cares for you any amount... he'll try to make something of it and comfort you.
