Other skin: Yandere!Characters reaction to a female demon slayer landing on you.
Plot: They watch a woman fall on you and her…chest is in full view in front of your eyes, and she flirts with you.
Reader: imagined female but no pronouns.
Notes: I just thought of Tegan and his wives reactions and I got excited, I love jealous yanderes.
Characters: Tengen & Makio, Suma and Hinatsuru, Mitsuri Kanroji, Sanemi Shinazugawa.
Disclaimer: I have not read the manga so most of the reactions are based on the show and fics I have read. So please forgive the inaccuracy.
The place was filled with other demon slayers from all types, sizes and skills that varied from race or religion. It was unlike anything you had seen before and the couple related in that way, this was something special. The lovers watched you closely as soon as you came into view to keep you safe and sound, but let you explore for just a few before wanting to smother you.
So their eyes followed you as you greeted people or looked at the decorations around, even the food tables with happiness in your eyes. They were taking amongst themselves at how cute you looked with such a innocent sparkle in your eyes. But soon they watched you get tackled to the ground unexpectedly, not watching anything else but you so it slipped their sight. The couple rushed over quickly, Tengen was the first to get there.
You groaned at the impact you took and your head ached. Weight pressed on your chest and it made you open you eyes slowly with the pain still in your head. But unlike meeting a face you were meet with a woman’s cleavage in front of you at eye level. Your face heated up quickly and eyes getting wide, you snapped your head up to the woman’s eyes. “Oh? What a lovely expression.” Her lips curled in a smirk as she ran her tongue across the outline, her tone smug and confident.
“Don’t get embarrassed, makes me wanna eat you up.” Her hands pressed harder onto you and you only got more flustered. Her hips sat on yours and everything about what was happening was too much to process.
Suma was terrified at first of how you could have hurt yourself, then as she got closer she saw the woman onto of you. She teared up quickly at how she got to be on top of you, how she pressed into your skin. She cried for her to get off of you. Makio of course was scared of you getting hurt but she was more angry to yell at the person, knowing the others would check you first so she could handle the bitch. But, when she saw your eyes meet her chest…She was pulling out her weapons quickly, how dare the woman take advantage of you? Hinatsuru was of course just like suma, but over all just very scared for you. Had your head took a big hit or how was your back and body? She was in motherly mood. Just like the other girls she got jealous of the woman, her perfect baby must be so scared right now.
Tengen was pissed from the get go, how dare someone crash into somone as fragile as you? Being a harisha he had speed, so he got there first to witness what the woman said. His eyes twitched and he had to refrain himself from slicing the woman’s head off. His aura was filled with rage he looked like a monster. He noticed how she pressed her body closer to you, her hands on your chest, flirted with you and got you shy.
“Come one, tell me your name?” She took her hand off your chest and went to touch your face but her wrist was grabbed in a death grip. Both of you looked up to see tengen looking at her with a smile that sent shivers down your spine. “They are off limits to the likes of you.” He flashed a toothy grin and threw her hand to the side, next thing you knew was being picked up into the air and his arms around you. The woman landed on the ground with a annoyed, “And who are you?”
A gasped left your lips when you saw a fist hit her cheek and quickly took notice it was Makio who punched her. The two other woman pulled her back and screamed it was enough as she tried to go after her. The woman got up quickly and dusted herself off and walked off quickly, leaving all of you behind with a stomp in her step. “Leave it.” Tengen ordered and they stopped and obeyed his orders.
Suma came over and cried about how she was sorry the woman got to close. “She wasn’t even that pretty, how could she touch you like that?” She was so jealous. Makio crosses her arms and slightly yelled at you for looking at her, or how you didn’t try and get away from her. “She was a hag, how could you blush like that? Its pathetic.” She was still fuming at the thought of you looking at another woman. Hinatsuru checked you for bruises or cuts, any signs of harm she could have done to you. “Did she hurt you? What a horrible person, look at you. So shook up, don’t worry she’s gone.”
You couldn’t leave their side the rest of the night, no matter how you tried. It took so long to convince tengen to put you down. They hated not being there for you, it only pushed them closer to taking you away…
Mitsuri hated leaving you alone even for a second, the thought of someone else hurting you or something happening to you. She couldn’t handle the thought. But now she lost you in a crowded market place and she panicked at the lose of your hand in hers, that she forced you to hold, and had no sight of you. Her voice got lost in the sound of so many others, she pushed through the people and looked for you but kept getting pushed back.
This was supposed be a fun day were she could spend every second with you and she wouldn’t look suspicious. She could hold your hand, be close to you, keep you in her sight and blame it on the worry of losing you. But now she saw her mistake on taking you here, she shouldn’t take you on busy days or anywhere this big.
Making it passed the crowd she took a deep breath and searched around for you. When she saw your outfit and a woman on top of you she froze in place. Another woman touching you, sitting on your lap, getting to be so close. It made her see red. She saw you blush at the sight of her chest and wondered if you’d blush like that if it was her.
“Tell me your name cutie.” Her voice sounded so sensual and it only made it worse. Mitsuri was inches away now and glaring at the woman, wanting to tackle her to the ground and away from you. But she smiled like she aways does and appeared next to the woman’s face with a huge smile. “Mind getting off them? I’m sure they don’t appreciate it.” Her cheery tone and smile didn’t match her energy at all, and you knew her well to notice.
“And who are you? This one’s mine?” Mitsuri took a moment of staring at the woman to giggling, making you both confused. “Maybe I didn’t make myself clear, I wasn’t asking.” The weight disappeared off your body as Mitsuri kicked the woman off of you and sent her rolling away. You stared in shook as her expression didn’t change from a sweet one. “This one will never belong to the likes of you.” She pulled you up and gripped ahold of your waist and pulled you close to her.
“I’ll make sure of that..”
He’s always dragging you away from others and doesn’t care what gender they are, if they aren’t him? Then they don’t deserve your time. So it’s hard to get a chance away from him since he doesn’t let you out of sight while he’s around. He sees you as something everyone should want, but you can’t fight them because you’re weak. (Even if you’re a demon slayer or a harisha, he doesn’t care)
He was coming back from a mission and waited for your presence and he looked around the butterfly mansion for you. He missed you in every way, to your smell to your smile and how you made him feel calm but so many other strong emotions. When he opened the door he found something that he couldn’t comprehend. He felt so many things that he stopped working for a minute.
A unknown woman straddling you and her chest in full view in front of your face, her body presses up against you. The look on your face was enough to show that you were embarrassed and flustered, how you tensed up. He is the one to get straight to the point and wouldn’t care who she was. She was coming off of you.
He walked over with the most calm expression and didn’t make a sound, only his footsteps could be heard. You noticed him first and got scarred at his expression. He didn’t say anything as he took a fist full of her hair and dragged her off of you, throwing her to the ground and standing in front of you.
“It’s considered disrespectful to touch something that doesn’t belong to you. They, are mine and I should kill you.” He laughed and got his grin, his fire coming back. “I’ll give you five seconds before you see why harishas are the highest rank.” She run out the door quickly and left without a peep. Then his attention was on you and you got a sick feeling in your stomach.
“Want to tell me what that was about?” He kneeled and got close to your face, “Did she touch you worse then what I saw?” Stuttering you explain what had happened and how it was a accident but he didn’t truly by it. Or he believed your intentions but not hers.
“If I see something like that again you’re getting punished as well,” he took ahold of your chin and yanked you forward. “Understand? No one touches you but me.” You had no choice but to agree.
She was reported dead in a week.

could you do a yandere demon mitsuri or shinobu with a demon slayer darling
Demon Slayer Reader in Reverse AU | Yandere KNY
In this alternate universe the hashira are the equivalents of the Upper Moons. Unbelievably strong, incredibly devious, and just as responsible for innumerable deaths as their creator. You on the other hand are like Tanjiro Kamado, a demon slayer dutifully following the orders of Muzan as he’s determined to finally stop the rampant killing that those demons do. But there’s something special about you. Something that the demons just can’t deny. That has them persistently chasing you their greater their connection to their beloved creator. Maybe it’s the blood of their kin, or your kissable lips, or the curses you mutter as your sword doesn’t slice through their necks. Either way they are down-bad:
Mitsuri Kanroji
Turned after being rejected for her strength and differences
Now she uses them to eat scores of humans particularly the most bland people she can find
Can you believe just how few people she actually loves?
Too few people are special because of their differences or physical traits
Which means she’s happily devour all those who don’t which is a lot
She of course claims it’s love at first sight when she sees you
It really can be something as simple as a colorful hanafuda or being deaf
Anything unique to you makes her weak in her knees
“You’re making me so happy just to have met you! I love you!”
So busy fawning over you, she barely misses your swing
Stronger than others she only falls for you deeper
In her twisted mind the blood of Ubuyashiki makes beautiful people of his divine choice even more beautiful
Thus her mission when fighting you is to turn you
So she can have your beauty be eternal
“Don’t avoid me for long my Love! I’m going to make you perfect soon!’
The biggest challenge other than her flexibility, the cherry blossom flooded air, and her insane physical strength is her beau
Rarely does the Demon Moon of Love leave without the Demon Moon of Snakes in tow
And while for your first meetings he definitely is not trying to keep you alive for the change
After he get’s to know you and a nice talk that involves lot’s of dying lower rank demon slayers they’ll both be on the same page
Which will spell absolute doom for you as the conniving duo is not going to bother being upfront
They’ll scheme
They’ll plot
Hold your tsugoko or friends from up high as they take advantage of your heightened emotions
“I want to love you forever and ever and ever. And no one is going to stop me! Not even you”
Shinobu Kocho
She was turned along with her sister who Ubuyashiki saved after she fell ill
For years prior she had devoted herself to science, to medicine only for it to fail her at every turn
Only when she incorporated the great Ubuyashiki’s blood into her creations does she find proper results good results
And she is praised with having so many willing addicted meals and servants to offer as she produces her remedies for masses
Interacting with prey so often gives her a better way to hide and know about the demon slayer’s actions
And amateur slayers that come into her shop swords drawn are usually bullied by the surrounding towns folk
All to be beaten up and kicked out of the town becoming easy pickings at that point
She thought she’d do the same to you
By the way you walked she could sense your power and her mortal end coming closer
But you didn’t attack
Surrounded by many of her loyal customers you ask that she try the contents of a vial to tell what it is
Since it’s suspicious to the people you offer to drink it, another villager drinks it
“You’re the greatest medic in this region. Won’t you tell me what it is and where to find it?”
It’s Wisteria
Potent and poisonous wisteria
Here shinobu is faced with a choice
Attack you ruin her reputation and have to deal with a mob
Or…
drink it and writhe revealing her demon form to be attacked by the mob
“You think you’re a cunning little butterfly don’t you. Flashing your poisonous colors at me. You aren’t aware of the hunger you’ve aroused in me!”
She wasn’t happy as a human with the limits she had
So she doesn’t choose any of those options opting to kill everyone
You block the attack finding out it’s a feint for her to run away
Run away with a snarl that she hasn’t shown for hundreds of years
How dare you!?
Ruining her perfect system
When she reports to the Ubuyashiki compound by night she’s got her head down low while reporting
As expected she was chewed out not only by The Ubuyashiki but the Upper Moons as well
And there is one person she blames above all for her shame
“That despicable little demon slayer!! I’m going to make them pay!”
Her hatred for you becomes a widely welcomed truth among the other demons
Hanging your whereabouts above her head
As she snaps at them like a snarling dog
But her hatred is not simply that
She wants to own you
To hold your face as she successfully demonstrates her mass attack absorbing all within the vicinity
To clip your pretty little wings and delight in your forbidden flavor for as long as possible
When one of her colleagues theonesheclaimsshehatesthemost pressures her she’s rambling to him about how she’d never want to actually kill you nor turn you completely into a demon like she
“They’re not good enough for Master…but it’d be a shame for such a beautiful butterfly to die so quickly.”
So she’ll turn to science
Once again using her expertise to craft some serum that she plans to keep you attached to for the rest of your not-so mortal life
She’ll use her own blood measuring and testing how little is needed to give you the best parts of being a demon
She knows the clock is ticking as your life goes on
So she’ll be excited to track you down, learning as much as she can about you
Almost as much fun as she’ll enjoy making simple humans that remind her of you as test subjects
She’d even be willing to get help from one of the Upper Moons with her hunt for you
“I hope your ready for a change, butterfly! There’s nothing I can’t do without his blood.”

just wanted you to know that you did an amazing job on my requests! And I have another for you. Part two of romantic yandere lamia Mitsuri, where it’s been a few years since she kidnapped us and she’s starting to look at and act weirdly around us, like she’s being more flirty and touchy, like she’s almost always keeping us wrapped in her tail, and she’s talking about having kids, and how she’s wondering how they’d look and how many she should have, if this makes you uncomfortable you can just tell me that it’s not your thing. Have a nice day or night!
Welcome back! This took a bit of thinking but here it is!
Yandere! Lamai! Mitsuri Kanjori x Darling! Reader (Romantic)
Part 1 - Part 2
Warning: mention of Blood, death, slight stalking, kidnapping, obsessive behaviour, reader could be coded as male at birth and is called ‘father’ but you can also read it as Mitsuri having no clue… so, mention of sex and sexual themes (plus no use of y/n)
It’s been at least a week now, a week since you had been taken from your peaceful hike in the forest to a dirty and cramped den with a snake woman who called herself ‘Mitsuri”.
She kept saying that the two of you were made for each other, and how perfect your love story was.
This was far from a love story.
The ‘relationship’ was suffocation; she was constantly wrapped around you and if not she was not to far away hunting and bringing you back fresh prey.
She would hug you, and run her long fingers over you.
She was touching and would make… comments to you.
“How many clutches should we have?” Mitsuri asked you, taking about babies as she held you close to her chest
“I-I dont think im ready for children…” You uncomfortably responded, but Mitsuri didnt seem to pick up on that.
“But why? I think you would be an amazing father; I wonder if they would look more like me or you- Oh! I hope they look like you!” She explained, her tail rapidly coiling around you.
You’ve tried to get the topic of you not liking this and just wanting to go home before, but she was to head strong on her own ideas and twisted scenarios to care about your wishes.
You wished only for your life before, to go back to you home and sleep in your bed and not be with this screwed in the head delusional snake woman who thought you to were soulmates.
No matter how many times she compliments you, or touches you in ‘loving’ ways or tries to court you with death animals and such; you will never love her and you will never stay.
But you just need to find away out…
Thank you so much for your wait, and to respond to your question; yes, I do like writing these request. I find them very entertaining on how I could use the already existing human character or Mitsuri and twist her as a snake.

Rules
The mountains have many rules. But out of all of them, five are the most important.
Mitsuri x fem Reader x Obanai
Words: 5.3k
Tw: Dark content, yandere monsters, monster fucking?, dubcon, squirting, fingering, smut, submissive obanai! Kinda don ish mitsuri?, uhhh also shitty smut kinda.
The mountains have many rules.
Of course, to keep the locals and tourists safe when living/visiting here. You remember when you and your parents first visited your grandparents up here in the mountains. Your grandparents made sure your parents told you beforehand about all the rules you had to follow for your stay.
Rule number one: Don’t be/go outside after the sun sets. That’s when they come out.
Rule number two: Don’t whistle once it’s dark. It attracts them.
Rule number three: You don’t see/hear anything. You ignore it and go on about your day.
Rule number four: Always keep your doors and windows locked. Don't let them in, even if they are outside begging to be let in. Don’t. They aren’t what they seem.
And the last and most important rule
Rule number five: If you hear your name being called. Don’t. Respond. Back. It’s not who you think it might be. Ignore it and don’t entertain it. If you want to see the light of day again.
Easy five rules to follow, right?
You always made sure to follow those five simple rules. Growing scared from all the stories the locals will tell little 6 year old you. Your parents also told you to be careful. That yes the woods are pretty, but they aren’t safe.
You haven’t seen your grandparents since you were 16. It’s been a long 8 years since then. You and your parents stopped visiting them after work has been catching up to them and you being busy with school. Of course you did call in occasionally and asked how they were doing and if they have been keeping themselves safe and healthy. Not wanting to grow distant with them since you love your grandparents very much.
But after a while, the calls slowly stopped coming in. Life is getting too busy for you and your parents.
It wasn't until a week ago when your aunt called and dropped the horrible news.
Your grandparents have passed away
You remember the feeling of time stopping right then and there. The cries of your mother going muffled as you just stood there.
The funeral wasn’t any better. Everyone was crying and screaming in agony. Your father was next to your weeping mother trying to comfort her as she cried for her parents. You couldn’t do anything but just stand there. Feeling useless.
The moment you got home you quickly ran to your room. That’s when finally all the tears and pain came out. You cried yourself to sleep that night.
-
Your grandparents left the house to you. Their only granddaughter. Before they died, it was already planned out the day you were born that if anything were to happen to them or if they would die. The house will belong to you.
And the house
Oh the house is beautiful
Think about those beautiful old Victorian homes from the 1800s. That’s the beautiful home your grandparents left for you.
And they knew you loved the area. Besides all the rules and weird things that roam the place. You loved it.
So here you are. In front of the house. With your parents standing behind you.
“Are you sure you’ll be okay? We can stay here with you for a few days”
“I’m going to be okay mom. Don’t worry about me”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes dad. I’m 24 years old, I’m pretty sure I can handle myself just fine” You could tell that didn’t help at all and maybe made it a little more ... .worse?
“Okay….make sure you keep the doors and windows locked! A-a-and to not let anyone in okay?!”
“And no staying outside after the sun sets! You never-“
“Never know what can be lurking in those woods yeah yeah I got it” Your mom sighs before she gives you a kiss on your forehead.
“Okay. Stay safe and take care. Me and your father will check in on you in a few weeks, Kay?”
“Mhm”
After 10 long minutes, they left with a goodbye and now you were left alone. You noticed that the sun will begin to set soon so you called it a day and quickly rushed inside.
The house still looked the same. Same wallpaper and furniture. Your grandparents wanted all their old furniture that they bought/collected over the years to stay with the house. To stay with you.
And you didn’t have a problem with that. In fact, you're grateful they left you with all their old furniture. In this economy, a couch will probably cost the same as your rent-.
Literally
You head back upstairs and decide to buy groceries tomorrow morning.
-
“So, how is it so far?” Your friend eagerly asks.
“It’s not bad. Peaceful actually”
“Mm is that so? Those mountains give me the creeps!” You chuckle as you continue making your breakfast.
“Yeah trust me, I was afraid when I first visited this place. But as long as you follow the rules, your pretty much safe”
“Jeez, don’t know how you do it”
Today you already have a little something planned out for the day. For example, after breakfast you’ll go to the local market for groceries. After that you’ll go visit some old spots that your grandparents used to take you to during your summers and after that you’ll be home!
Simple small plans
“Yeah well for starters, I basically grew up here. And my grandparents were very overprotective of me when I would visit here”
“Well then maybe I should go up there and visit you! You’ll protect me from those things right?” You giggle as you answer her question.
“Of course I will”
“Good. Well I’ll talk to you later! I have a shit ton of stuff to do today” She sighs and you can tell she’s slumped over her kitchen counter right now.
“Well I’ll let you go now. But you better come visit once you're free!”
“You bet I am!” You said your goodbyes before hanging up.
The weather was perfect today for the small things you planned out. You made your plate and sat down at the nice dining table. You scrolled through your phone bored out of your mind as you ate the food you made.
You scrolled through pictures and videos of family, friends, or even random people before coming across an article from the town’s official account.
Two teenagers were found mutilated in the woods today earlier this morning. The two teens were reported missing on September 3rd at 9:46 pm by their parents after the teens failed to arrive home on time.
The teens were found today on September 16 at 7:23 am, two weeks after their disappearance. Local sheriffs said that they received a call from a tourist who had the misfortune to stumble upon the dead bodies of the two teens.
“Jesus” You mutter as you frown.
You always knew stuff like this happens. People not taking the rules seriously and being outside way past curfew and BOOM. Next day found dead.
You won’t lie, but you still get chills knowing that you aren’t the only one’s living here. The creatures that lurk in these mountains aren’t friendly to anyone.
Not even animals are safe as you remember stumbling upon multiple dead corpses of the unfortunate growing up.
Those things are vicious, vile creatures with zero mercy.
The words your grandmother used to tell you before reading you a bedtime story.
And she’s right. Those things show no mercy.
To those unfortunate souls that stumble upon those creatures. May they rest in eternal peace.
-
It’s been a couple weeks since you officially moved in. Life is peaceful living here. And you finally adjusted to life here!
Anyways, you were currently watching some of your favorite movies from childhood while you snacked on a bag of your favorite chips. Your parents left an hour ago after they came to check up on you. You three spent good quality time together before they had to leave for the long drive home.
You never knew living in a quiet area would be great. No more honking of cars or the screaming of people outside!
Just peace and quiet
You quietly munch on your chips as you continue watching the movie. Unaware of the eyes that were currently watching you.
No
It wasn’t in front of your window
It was behind the trees from outside
You continue eating before you frown as you hear a small click.
You ignored it at first, but then you heard the sound of a nail tapping against your window.
That’s when you completely froze
NOPE!
You quickly turned off the tv before grabbing your chips and phone and booking it upstairs to your room.
You locked your bedroom door and checked to see if your window was locked. Once you made sure everything was locked you quickly got into bed and left your chips on your night stand.
Definitely not tonight
You soon fell asleep all the while ignoring the strange noises coming from outside in the pitch dark woods.
1/5
-
People have said that the land was hunted. Curse from the Gods after humans yet again began to be greedy and cruel.
Others have said that the creatures that lurk are aliens or other creatures from space. They mysteriously appeared here one day and decided to claim the land as their home.
And others have said that those things used to be people. People who deceived the Gods and as punishment were turned into disgusting vile creatures who now live here in the mountains.
Anyways, there were a lot of rumors surrounding this place and how it came to be.
But even after all that. The land and mountains are beautiful. The most breathtaking place you can ever step foot in.
But people tend to forget about that when the stories and sightings of those creatures go around and get more attention than the beautiful small town itself.
Besides, the history of this town truly is a mystery
-
“Shit” your eyes kept going back and forth to the watch on your wrist and to the road.
Today you drove out to the city to meet up with your friends to go eat at a very popular restaurant after not seeing each other in a while. After eating, one of your friends suggested hitting up a local bar to just chill and have fun. Obviously you all agreed and went.
But unfortunately for you, you didn’t keep track of time and by the time you noticed, it was starting to get pretty late.
“Shit shit shit!” You were a little buzzed from the few drinks you took while at the bar but that didn’t really matter right now as your number one priority was to get home before the sun fully sets, which is already too late.
You kept your eyes on the road. Not taking your eyes off of it as you finally accepted defeat.
You broke one of the rules
You just hoped by the time you get home you don’t get mutilated at your front door step.
A sigh of relief leaves your lips as your house comes into view. You quickly parked and turned off the car and sat there for a moment.
It was quiet
You quickly snatch your keys out of your purse and look around for anything. Your eyes then turn to look at your front door and you take a deep breath. Keys ready in hand, you quickly got out of the car and ran to your door. You opened the door and quickly rushed inside before locking it.
You stood still for a moment. After what felt like forever you sighed in relief and decided that that will be the last time you’ll ever do that again.
No more rule breaking
You told yourself as you walked upstairs. Unaware of the glowing eyes peering outside your window.
2/5
Nothing bad or strange happened that night. You were relieved to wake up the next morning. You had a hard time getting some sleep after you broke one of the five rules. Thinking you wouldn’t see the light of day if you were to go to sleep.
But by some miracle you woke up fine
Which you were very grateful for after seeing more articles of bodies being found deep inside the woods. It’s been getting pretty dangerous lately as more news of dead bodies being found in those woods has become more frequent.
The townspeople were starting to get worried and scared to even step foot outside. Afraid their bodies will be found next.
When your parents found out about you breaking one of the rules, they were livid!
They scolded you for being so careless and not caring about your safety. It took a minute to calm them down but once you did your mom scolded you one last time before hanging up.
“So what are you going to do?”
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“C’mon y/n, you're seriously planning on still staying after more bodies are being found and not only that but you breaking one of the rules?! Girl you’re crazy” You chuckled and continued folding your clothes.
“Nothing bad happened after that night. Seriously, I'm fine”
“You’re fucking crazy”
“Am not” She sighs and you could tell she’s stressing.
“Just be careful okay? I don’t want you being found next”
“I promise I’ll be fine so quit worrying before you get a grey hair!”
“Oh fuck you!” You both laugh before saying your goodbyes and hanging up. You finish folding the last bit of clothes before letting out a loud sigh. You were tired after today’s event. You did some grocery shopping and some heavy chores.
And by heavy chores….you deep cleaned the whole house
So now you were straight up tired after running around all day. Before your ass could even hit the bed, you heard a loud knock coming from downstairs. You froze and waited to hear it again, thinking it was just your tired mind playing tricks on you.
Knock knock knock
You looked outside and saw that it was dark.
Who the hell could it be knocking at your door this late at night?
You made your way downstairs and the knocking on the door became louder.
“Hello?! Is anyone home?!”
Your heart dropped
It was a female voice
“Please! Our car broke down and we don’t know what to do! If anyone’s home can you please help us!?”
You stayed completely still
What the fuck do you do?!
You quietly make your way up the door and decide to take a small peek at the peephole.
There stood two figures. A women and a man.
The woman looked frightened as she kept looking over her shoulder and the man beside her kept caressing her back as if trying to calm her down.
They look human
You stepped back from the door
Should I open it? Should I help these people and let them in?
“Please, we can’t be outside at this hour so if anyone’s home please let us in” This time the man spoke up.
The knocking stopped after that. Only the sounds of the women’s cries can be heard.
“It’s no use! Obanai-San we’re gonna die!”
“No we’re not. C’mon, it’s best that we get back to the car and just stay there for the night”
“B-but what if those things get us on our way to the car?! No no no! Please whoever is in there let us in!”
“Mitsuri-“
You opened the door which caused the women to screech and hide behind the male. You pointed your gun at them and the man quickly covered the women with his body.
“What are you guys doing knocking at my door?!”
“We need help. Our car broke down not to far from here and we need a place to stay for the night” The man says as he looks at the gun and then back at you.
“And what makes you think I believe you? For all I know you guys can be one of those creatures!”
“If we were you would’ve been dead the moment you opened that door” He says.
“Please! We really do need help!” This time the woman behind him speaks up.
You looked at the two in front of you carefully. They look like they really need help and they also look human. The man is right, if they weren’t they would’ve killed you by now. You sigh before lowering your gun. This makes the two relax and you quickly motion them inside.
“You know it’s dangerous walking around here when it’s dark right?” You say. Eyeing the two suspiciously.
“Of course we know”
“Where were you guys headed?” You asked. Still skeptical about the two of them.
“We were going to go visit my parents! They live in the next town over but while on our way there our car broke down in the middle of the road!” The colorful hair women cried out. You raised a brow at her.
“Why did you guys decide to walk all the way over here? You could’ve just waited it out in your car”
“That was the original plan. But someone wanted to go ask for help” the man says as he looks at the woman next to him. She goes bright red before speaking up.
“I was scared! I heard multiple stories about this place!” You chuckle. The mountains and town are really popular with its supernatural stories after all.
“You guys can spend the night” The two sigh in relief. Thankful for your kindness.
“Thank you so much! You are so kind!” The woman blurted out as she smiled.
“Yeah….but by morning you guys have to be out”
“That won’t be a problem” The man says. You just nod and show them the way to one of the many guest bedrooms you have.
“Oh my goodness! How impolite of us to not introduce ourselves! My name is mitsuri!”
“This is obanai! Thank you once again!”
Okay she’s definitely not one of those creatures. You relaxed a bit and decided why not also introduce yourself.
“I’m y/n”
“Oh! Y/n you have such a very pretty name!” She says as she smiles.
“Ah, thank you. Your name is very pretty also!” The woman beams. Very happy to hear that.
“Well I’ll leave the two of you alone. Doors and windows are locked so there’s no need to worry about the monsters coming in!” You joke. They both nod. You leave to go back to your room for much needed rest after a long day. You sleep in utter peace. Not knowing that even with doors and windows locked. The monster still made their way inside your precious home.
3/5
The next day you woke up to the two strangers gone. The bedroom that they stayed in from the night before was left cleaned and untouched. Like they never used it.
“At least they made the bed”
You moved on after that. Weeks have passed and the strangers have become ... .Well strangers!
You just got home from work and you were slumped. It was late, yes but you managed to get home before the sun set. You were ready to just fall asleep in the sweat and dirt from today at work until you remembered that you recently washed your bedsheets and covers.
You were currently washing up and scrubbing away all the dead skin and dirt that has built up while also thinking about what you should make tomorrow for dinner.
Your parents are coming to visit tomorrow and are also staying for a few days so you wanted to make sure you have all the ingredients for tomorrow's dinner.
“Maybe I should make some pasta? Shrimp Alfredo? Or maybe some chicken curry? Orrr chicken quesadillas? Or maybe-“
You continue to ramble about all the possible foods you can make for tomorrow’s dinner.
Once you were done cleaning up, you made sure to quickly write down the dinner plans so you wouldn’t forget by tomorrow morning.
“Phewwww! Welp time for bed!” You made yourself comfortable before drifting off to blissful sleep.
Unaware of the small whistle that slipped out your mouth earlier in the shower.
4/5
You managed to wake up bright and early to get the things you needed to make tonight’s dinner. Your parents are coming in a few hours so you wanted to get the ingredients for dinner out of the way so you wouldn’t have to worry about it later.
You went to your local market to buy all the fresh vegetables and fruits first before going to another store to pick up some other stuff that you needed.
You were excited. It’s been some time since you saw your parents so you wanted everything to be perfect. After picking up the last few ingredients you drove home. You also needed to do some last minute cleaning before focusing on the dinner part.
Once you arrived home you saw something strange laying on your front porch.
“Weird…I don’t remember ordering anything” You parked your car before slowly getting out of the vehicle. The moment you got out a stench hit you straight in the face. You wanted to vomit and you quickly covered half of your face.
It was coming from your front porch
Slowly, you walked towards your porch to get a closer look at what was there and you noticed flies surrounding the thing that was there.
“Oh my God”
You took a step back when you noticed what was there.
It was a dead deer
The poor thing was….mutilated. There was a dead mutilated deer on your front porch.
You felt sick
Your stomach turned and you felt like vomiting right then and there.
“So you found a dead deer on your front porch?”
“Yes”
“And nothing else? Dear are you okay?!”
“Mhm yes mom I’m fine” You called your parents immediately after seeing the dead animal in front of your house. The moment your parents heard, they immediately got in the car and started making their way to you a little earlier than what was planned.
“Go inside the house from the back door. Don’t touch anything and keep the doors locked. Stuff like this is usually a threat from those things, we’ll be there in 2 hours if traffic isn’t bad, but just stay inside okay?”
“Yes dad”
“Everythings going to be fine sweetheart, so don’t stress, okay?”
“Yes mom I’m already inside so don’t worry”
“Okay, we’ll be there soon”
And the call ended
Luckily you brought the grocery bags inside the house so you decided to start making dinner a little earlier than expected to get your mind off the dead animal that is still currently laying on your front porch.
You wouldn’t lie and say you weren’t scared. You were fucking terrified. When dead animals are left in front of someone’s house or backyard or land, 100% of the time that person is dead.
It’s a threat. Those things are threatening you and you don’t even know WHY.
You're trying to remember all the things you could’ve done to upset them - or it? You don’t know! You just can’t come up with anything that could explain why such a thing even happened!
You try to let it go and forget about it.
Maybe it’s a coincidence or…a mistake?
Maybe they got the wrong house, yeah?
You sigh and decide to just focus on dinner.
As you were washing some of the vegetables, you heard a faint click.
With the speed of light you turned off the water and stood completely still. You hear the faint sounds of tapping coming from the window of the living room.
Oh God
The sounds of nails dragging against the door is what you hear next. Long. Sharp. Nails.
You hear it before it stops. Then you hear the tap on the window again but now it’s coming from in front of you. You looked up at the window that is in front of your sink. You were lucky you have a small curtain covering the window because you know whatever is behind that window would’ve scared the ever living shit out of you.
You took a couple steps back before your back hit something. Immediately you froze.
You stayed still as whatever was behind you let out a low growl. You feel its long boney hands rest on your shoulders and you could physically feel your heart drop.
The thing then grips your shoulders and that was enough for you to pass out in fear.
Your head is pounding and you feel cold. You slowly opened your eyes and you saw that it was dark outside.
What
Was all that just a dream?
You tried to sit up but something cold stopped you from doing so. You looked up and saw that your wrists were tied. The cold breeze from the open window made you shiver.
Wait
Open window?!
You panicked and tried to sit up but you couldn’t. The chains on your wrist prevented you from moving let alone getting up. That’s when you also noticed that you weren’t fully clothed. Only your underwear was on and you felt scared.
What the fuck was happening?!
And then….you hear it again. The faint tapping sound of nails on the glass window. But this time you could tell it was coming from inside your room. You slowly turned your head to face the window of your bedroom.
There….you saw a tall slender figure.
But something about this…person? Seemed familiar.
The person….continued tapping its nail against the window and something about that gave you an eerie feeling.
Suddenly, it stops.
You hold your breath as its head slowly moves to look at you.
Your heart drops the moment you make eye contact with it.
“M-mitsuri?” You whisper.
You can’t believe the woman standing before you is the same woman you met a month ago.
She looks so different
She looks…taller and her face…her face doesn’t look human at all but it also does….does that even make sense?!
Her hair is loose and she seems to not be wearing any clothes. You quickly look away but the moment you do you look up to see obanai hovering over you while staring deeply into your soul.
He also looked different
But the thing that caught your attention the most was his mouth. You see the long cuts in the corner of his mouth. Giving him a snake-like appearance.
“You're awake” Her voice sounds different. Your heart starts to beat fast and you can feel tears already threatening to fall.
“W-why…w-what are you guys”
You closed your eyes. Not daring to look at either of them.
What the fuck are they doing in your house
“You're so pretty….you look so cute being underneath him” She says as she slowly starts caressing your hair. You whimper as you feel obanai beginning to nuzzle his face on your neck.
He was sniffing you
“Noo no no no please don’t kill me!” You cry out as you struggle against your chains. She just giggles before joining you two on the bed.
“We would never hurt you. Right obanai?” He just growls. You can feel his clawed hands beginning to fondle with your breast and you gulp the more you feel him press himself closer to you.
“No no no”
“Shhhh everything’s going to be fine….” You can feel her hand slowly start to make its way towards your private area. You cry as you feel her clawed finger rip your underwear before slowly playing with your clit.
“No! Please-“ You gasp when you feel the male's mouth on your chest. He takes a nipple in his mouth and you shiver feeling his long tongue swirl around it.
Mitsuri continues playing with your clit and she giggles seeing you squirm underneath her touch.
Cute
She thinks
You gasp the moment you feel her fingers slip inside your hole. You gripped onto the chains and bit your lip as tears slid down your cheeks.
“No wait! N-not there!” She begins to thrust her fingers in and out your hole and all you could do is shut your eyes tight as you tried your best to not make any noise. Meanwhile, obanai was having the time of his life sucking harshly at your nipples. A lewd pop is heard as he finally leaves your poor nipple alone.
“More” he growls. You feel relieved when her fingers leave your poor cunt alone. But that was soon gone when you felt something poking you from down there. Your blood runs cold the moment you look down to see a monstrous cock.
Terrified, you squirm and shake your head knowing what was going to happen.
“No no no! Please! That’s not going to fit, please let me go!”
They don’t even pay you any mind as he grabs ahold of both of your thighs and spreads your legs open. They both coo at you and mitsuri begins to caress your face as she calms you down.
His tip pokes your entrance. You can tell he’s trying to hold himself back as mitsuri starts to also caress his face. He leans against her touch and waits for the green light.
“Be careful. Human women are much more delicate than us” He nods before he starts lining up his tip against your hole. You gasp as you feel him slowly push in.
You were ashamed of how wet you were.
You cry out at the burning sensation you feel. Your poor little cunt is being stretched open for crying out loud! You try scooting back. Not wanting him in. But that soon stops as he grabs your waist and slams you down fully on his length. You scream as you gripped onto the chains.
“There there! Look how perfect you're taking him! Oh I knew you were perfect for us!”
You could feel your face heat up at the lewd sounds of your cunt on his cock and the groans and moans leaving him.
“S-slow down!”
You can hear him whimper as he buries his face on your neck. And no, he doesn’t slow down. In fact, he quickened his pace and you could feel your legs start to shake.
“So beautiful!” Your face burns seeing her staring to play with herself. She fondles one of her breasts while looking at the two of you intensely.
Before you know it, you squirt all over his length. The man holds on to you tight as he cums deep inside you. You breathe heavy, your body tired and sensitive from what it has experienced. You couldn’t keep your eyes open even for a second from how tired you were.
“Shhh sleep now. Don’t worry we’ll take great care of you” You lean against her touch and the last thing you see before sleep takes over you is the chains being cut off before your carefully picked up from the bed.
Your parents arrive at last. Your father sees the dead animal still laying on your front porch and him and your mother both quickly make their way in from the back door.
“Y/n! We’re here!” Your mother shouts. But she was met with silence. Worried, your parents quickly run upstairs in search of you. Entering your room, they see that you aren’t in there and that’s when they both begin to panic.
They search the whole house from top to bottom but only to be met with nothing. You weren’t there.
A few hours later they filed a missing persons report and asked for a search party to help find you.
Unfortunately, upon seeing the dead Animal in front of your porch, the sheriff and people of the town broke the news to your parents about you falling victim to those monsters.
After all
The mountains have many rules. And you broke 5 of the most important ones.

Tw: Yandere themes, possessive behavior, obsession, isolation, abduction, manipulation, threats, the Zoldyck family is a trigger warning in itself

Platonic Yandere
Kurapika Kurta
⛓️Too much. Kurapika saw too much of himself in you when he found you one day in the aftermath of another masacre caused by the Phantom Troupe, one of the few survivors left. Your family gone. Your friends gone. Your home gone. Initially his plan only saw it for him to bring you to safety, to find someone who would take care of you as his own lifestyle consists only of revenge and hatred for the criminals who took everything from him. Still, Kurapika isn't heartless as his worries for you lead him to spend time with you as you only put your trust in him for quite a few weeks after the incident. There's so much innocence in those eyes, almost too much innocence for someone like him. Hatred has been one of the first emotions that he felt after his clan was brutally murdered yet perhaps you are still too young to feel such black feelings. Adolescence for Kurapika has been ruined for Kurapika, his hatred guiding his every action and limiting his freedom. It's not like Kurapika regrets any of this for it is the only path he could have chosen for himself yet in you he sees a chance to protect something that he couldn't be protected from after the Phantom Troupe took everything from him.
⛓️Stranger means danger. A concept that Kurapika teaches you quite early as he slowly starts getting more involved in raising you. Others keep on telling him that he is far too overbearing, far too restricting yet the truth is none of them could understand you two for none of them have experienced the same pain that you have gone through. The story of your losses is almost identical which is why Kurapika finds himself sharing his past with you soon yet he harshly forbids you from following his example of hunting down Chrollo. This is a burden he alone has to bear. For you he wants something different. He wishes for you to live a normal life, though the concept of living a normal life underneath his guidance is already very different than what the majority would consider the norm. After all Kurapika keeps you largely sheltered, away from a world where too many people would backstab and betray you for money and power. Trust him, he has encountered all of those people before and whilst there may be some people out there who are better than others he insists on you understanding that ultimately only he will understand you best for he knows what you have gone through.
⛓️Shielded away from all potential happiness yet also all potential pain for Kurapika dreads to take a risk with you, you mostly remain with only him as you rarely stay long enough in a city or new place to bond with those Kurapika carefully selects to look after you when he has to do something for which he can't take you with him. Family is insanely important to Kurapika and even though you two are not related by blood he often tells you this. He's never outright demanded for you to refer to him under a fitting term though as you are the one who refers to him as your older brother at one point. He has always known that you have seen him as family because he has pretty much raised you up on that belief even if some others would criticise him for his questionable methods. He's extremely touched though when the word "brother" leaves your lips for the first time as he hasn't been called anything remotely close to this ever since his clan was murdered. This strange warmth in his chest appears whenever you call him that, his grip always subtly tightening on you as soon as he hears the word as it only seems to solidify the responsibility that he has to protect you.
Illumi Zoldyck
🤎Illumi stumbles upon you during a mission he has received, though you are not directly a part of it. Your orphanage just happens to be in the same district that his targets resides in and you just happen to be able to use Nen which catches his attention. Yes, he has been able to use Nen in your age already as well but for someone outside of his family to already possess such an ability is rare, especially since you don't seem to be even aware of it. A natural. A rarity. Unable to just ignore you Illumi finds himself with two options. Option one is to eliminate you before you may grow up to be a threat for his family. Option number two is to polish this diamond and use it for his own advantages. With zero awareness of how proper social interaction works he finds himself approaching you on the playground one day, noticing how other kids avoid you as they mostly sense the Nen around you though they don't know what it is. Curious yes stare up as he bends down, blinking at the sand castle you're trying to build before he asks you if you'd be interested to join his family and be trained by him to be an assassin. Your mistake simply was to believe that the mister in front of you was only joking.
🤎Everyone is flabbergasted when Illumi returns from his mission whilst holding you in his arms, simply stating that he will train you from now on. Kikyo in particular is quite skeptical but Zeno and Silva seem to tolerate it mainly because they also sense that you seem to have a lot of potential. The fact remains that you do not hold the same rights and worth as a biological Zoldyck though and this subtle discrimination is something you notice as you grow up. It's this fact that Illumi often finds himself abusing to strengthen the loyalty and connection that you feel for him. He doesn't want you to bond with other people in this household so even if you attempt to forge a connection or someone from his family attempts to get to know you better he always manipulates the situation so that you only end up getting hurt. The easiest solution is to let you spend time with Kikyo who hates you and wails and complains in your presence about how you're nothing special in comparison to her darling Killua and how she doesn't understand why you're still here. Killua is probably the one Zoldyck you are somewhat allowed to hang around with though Illumi strives to control both of you.
🤎 For Illumi his family is everything. However, for you he should be your only family. He wants you to ignore the rest of the Zoldyck members because in his own strange view he believes that he is indeed the only family to you. After all it was him who took you away from this orphanage where your potential would have only been wasted and where you would have rotted away. After all he is the one who provided you shelter and gifts you something whenever you improve. After all you listen to him, mainly because he has used his ability to use a little needle to make you more obedient to him. Illumi differs from Kurapika in the aspect that he demands from you to refer to him as your older brother to finally receive the final assurance that you know who he is to you. It slips out of you whilst you're training with him and are pushed beyond your limits, begging him to give you a break. In the next moment he is instead directly in front of you, moving so fast that you barely notice him. Dark eyes threaten to suck your soul out of your eyes as he asks you to repeat that once more for him, sounding almost excited. Whilst he may not show it he is extremely satisfied, he even gives you the little break you're pleading for.
Silva Zoldyck
🐺Apologies cannot be spilled enough as one of the servants of the Zoldyck household is forced to announce that their grandchild, which they have recently started taking with them to teach them how to be a good servant, has somehow escaped and now they're unable to find them. A minor problem in Silva's eyes as he just lets the butlers of this household handle that matter. It is at least irrelevant until Mike, the family dog, brings you back as you're placed on his back and just giggle happily. Mike doesn't just trust anybody, not even the butlers of this household so it is quite remarkable that a small child like you managed to tame him to the point where he allows you to jump on his back. Silva is somewhat intrigued to say the least, quickly dismissing the apologies of your grandparent and telling them that it's quite alright. Blue eyes linger on you for a little longer until he eventually leaves. As you're still in training Silva doesn't see you too often the following weeks but it doesn't escape him that Mike continues playing with you and it only festers his growing curiosity. After all Mike is usually only that affectionate with members of the Zoldyck family.
🐺Eventually his fascination gets the better of him and one day he follows Mike, mildly surprised to see Mike laying on his back and exposing his belly as he allows you to pet him there. Obviously you haven't been properly taught just who he is yet or perhaps you just don't see the reason behind being overly respectful as you notice Silva and run over to him, speaking informally to him. Under normal circumstances he would consider it an audacity but strangely enough he finds it weirdly amusing as not even his own children have spoken to him that way. The only person who has ever conversed so casually with him is his own father. As you excitedly gush about Mike and how much of a good boy he is, Silva finds himself actually listening to your rambles before he eventually brings you back to the other butlers. Needless to say though, after that day he finds himself actually seeking you out more often and mostly he just follows Mike as the dog also spends time with you nearly every day. It's not all fun and games though as very soon Silva actually suggests training you when noticing that you're still quite clumsy and inexperienced despite the potential that you hold.
🐺The possessive strictness takes more than just a few months to develop for Silva though. After all he is the patriarch of his family, all bound by blood so it takes an expected amount of time until he eventually starts recognising you as more than just a butler that he highly respects. The moment that switch has happened he turns very overbearing though as he insists for you to move into the actual manor of the family and there is little your grandparent gets to say about that. Everyone who even as much as dares to voice their disagreement with his decision will immediately receive punishment and not even family is safe from those oppressing glares he gives them, especially Milluki and Kikyo receive a lot of them. It takes you quite a bit to get used to that new lifestyle but since you basically grew up in this place with Mike and Silva you do not hold as much resentment against him as you perhaps should. Now, Silva doesn't often let his emotions get the better of him but he allows himself that moment of pride that swells his chest when you call him for the first time your father. After all it symbolises to him that you finally have accepted your new life in his family.
Kanroji Mitsuri & Iguro Obanai
💓🐍Left in the rubbles of a house Mitsuri finds you, wrapped in blankets and screaming at the top of your lungs. She bursts out in tears immediately, guilt and sorrow invading her heart as she realises that she was too late to save your parents, leaving you all alone. Carefully she lifts you up, tears still dropping down her face yet she knows that her own sadness would only affect you more so she forces herself to smile as she tries to cheer you up. Your parents lived far away in a rural era with no relatives that could take you in and when someone on her team mentions that they might just have to give you to an orphanage Mitsuri vehemently refuses. That would be far too heartless! This is all her fault. If she would have only arrived sooner, if she would have only been faster you wouldn't have needed to end up all alone. Unable to live with the idea of giving you away to an orphanage Mitsuri decides on a whim that she will adopt you with almost everyone on her team going into shock when she announces her decision with tears in her eyes. As a Hashira she failed to protect your parents but the very least she can do is not fail you, the child of the ones she was supposed to protect.
💓🐍Obanai initially views you with nothing but jealousy as Mitsuri spends a lot of time with you, coddling you and gushing over you. Truly, sometimes he glares at you with his mismatched eyes, a scowl on his face whenever Mitsuri pinches your cheeks softly and talks to you adoringly. His pettiness is honestly amusing to the point where Sanemi and Shinobu end up teasing him. Mitsuri, in firm belief that Obanai has a soft heart, leaves him sometimes in charge of you though when she has to fulfill a mission and he always does so begrudgingly, often staring at your little form and hissing at you that you won't steal her away from him. One day whilst you're crying and he's forced to lift you up and bounce you up and down in his arms you actually undo the bandages on his face with your grabby hands, both of you freezing as he stares unmasked at you. For on brief moment he almost has the urge to throw you away, fearing that you'll start crying. Instead you laugh. Not mockingly but in that childlike innocence as you stare at his hideous face. The paternal love arrow shoots him straight through his heart in that moment and from that day on he hunts everyone done who ever complained about you.
💓🐍Mitsuri is openly affectionate. She bakes for you or with you. She effortlessly lifts you up and spins you around whenever you ask her, she draws and paints with you and plasters every wall full with everything you drew. Obanai isn't as openly affectionate but he is deeply protective. As soon as someone nags about your screams he's suddenly behind them with his blade pressed against their neck. He allows his pet snake to bite everyone who speaks ill of you and whenever anyone or anything scares you he scares them in return for the rest of their lives. You've basically been raised by them so it's no surprise that your first words include you calling them "mama" and "dada" respectively. Mitsuri sheds tears of joy and guilt at that as she still tends to bemoan the fact that she couldn't save your real parents even though she could not imagine giving up on you now. Obanai funnily enough thinks of Mitsuri as deserving of being called mother by you yet he holds insecurities about himself as he wonders if he'll be a good father to you as he was never raised properly nor had he father present in his life. Both of them pretty much just end up soothing each other and calling the other one the better parent
Gojo Satoru
🩵Quiet, anxious, overly cautious of everyone. When Yaga brings you one day into the Jujutsu High, you remind him more of a frightened animal with fear-based aggression than anything else. Listening to the Principle though Gojo has a hard time blaming you. Born as the child of non-sorcerers, from a very small age plagued by the horrifying sight of curses with no one to believe you until the torment became too much and you ran away from home as everyone around you slowly started to believe that you were mentally ill. Necessary arrangements have already been made with your parents who have agreed to let you stay in Tokyo. Yaga has already explained the basics to you, explained to you that you are not insane and that the monsters you see are in fact real. The first day Yaga mostly keeps you close by his side and later that night Gojo pouts about it as he would have liked to get to know you better too. He reacts highly offended when Yaga explains to him that he didn't want to scare you on your first day here by letting you anywhere near Gojo. There's no reason to be so down though as Yaga tells Gojo that he will still be a teacher for you, especially since you know little to nothing about this new world.
🩵It is so painfully obvious that you grew up un a rural area, always overwhelmed by all the noises, the lights, the humans and the creatures. It makes Gojo quite protective whenever he walks with you around Tokyo as he wants to introduce the city life to you. He's deeply sad as well as offended when he offers you sweets and you ask him what they are as those candies aren't something you ever saw in your small village. After that he makes it his mission to introduce every dish and every sugary treat in this city to you and it always brightens up a stressful day when you taste a cake or ice cream flavor you never had before and light up when you realise that it's delicious. When you one day spotted a crane game shop and spotted a cute plushie Gojo noticed, dragged you inside the shop and basically blew all of his coins on winning you everything you wanted inside there. Yaga could only stare in exasperation as the white-haired menace returned, hands full of bags with everything he had won you. Obviously Gojo defended his actions. Your room is after all so terrible bleak. He introduces you to Megumi as well who sarcastically remarks that his teacher is collecting children like some do Pokemon.
🩵A happy childhood is something Gojo never received, his blessing simultanously his curse. You will never grow up like most other children your age either. But at the very least he can provide you with a childhood infinitely better than his own. Beneath that cheerful grin a deep-rooted paranoia festers, an overwhelming desire to protect you from all evil in this world. Gojo doesn't want you to go out there and fight curses. He wants you to live a normal life away from everything that goes down in this world and he fights for you and protects you for that sake with that carefree grin on his face. It is that grin that momentarily fades when you call him papa for the first time as not even you realise what you have said. Not until you hear him audibly choking on his melon soda, blue eyes gazing at you in shock as he coughs for his life. The moment he has finally stopped nearly choking he leans down, a strange look in his eyes as he asks you quietly to repeat that. It's the way you tilt your head, trying to recall what it was you just said before repeating the word papa to him once more that he almost feels like crying as in that moment the world grows even more dangerous and you infinitely precious.

Kyojuro Rengoku
It's a warm evening, the sun setting over the horizon, casting a golden glow across the Demon Slayer Corps' headquarters. The scent of training grounds lingers in the air as you walk back to the shared living quarters after a long day.
You've been distant lately, and though Rengoku has tried to maintain his usual cheerful demeanor, he has noticed the subtle changes in you. The way your eyes avoid his gaze, how you sometimes slip away during meals, and how your words, once filled with admiration and affection, have become strained, almost... cold.
At first, he thought it was a passing mood. But after the third day of this behavior, his concern turns into something darker. Something that burns just as hot as the flames in his heart.
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ─── ─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
You enter the shared room, the door creaking as it opens. Rengoku is sitting on a cushion, his posture regal, but his eyes are sharper than usual. There’s a quiet intensity in the way he watches you, like a predator sensing its prey.
His smile is the same, but there’s something unsettling in the way his gaze lingers. He rises slowly, his tall figure towering over you as you approach. His presence is overpowering, and despite his usual warmth, you can feel a cold edge to his energy now.
"Welcome back," he says, his voice smooth, but there’s a faint tremor beneath the surface, a dangerous hint of something unspoken. He steps closer, almost blocking your path.
"Is something troubling you, my dear?" His hand lifts, gently cupping your cheek, but there's an iron grip behind the softness, his thumb pressing just a little too firmly against your skin.
You try to step back, unsure of what to say, but he doesn’t let you retreat. He moves with terrifying speed, catching your wrist in a vice-like grip before you can react.
“Why do you keep pulling away?” His voice is low, and the warmth in it now feels forced, tainted with a darker edge. “Do you not love me anymore? Or is there someone else?"
You can see his eyes narrowing, his pupils flickering with barely contained fury. His gaze burns into yours, and it’s like he's searching your very soul, demanding an answer. Your silence only fuels his suspicions.
He tugs you closer, his fingers tightening around your wrist until it’s almost painful. “Answer me, now,” he demands, his voice rising, but it still holds that dangerous gentleness — as if it’s a command you should obey, as if it’s for your own good.
You try to speak, to explain, but the words catch in your throat. His grip tightens, and his other hand reaches up to thread through your hair, tilting your head back slightly, exposing your neck. His breath fans across your skin, and for a moment, everything is still.
“You’ve hurt me,” he whispers, his voice breaking through the tension. “You’ve made me doubt. I don’t like feeling this way… but you’ve made me.”
You begin to tremble, not from fear, but from the overwhelming intensity of his emotions. He’s not angry, not exactly, but it’s as if something deep inside him has snapped. This need to control, to possess, to keep you close — to make sure you never slip away from him again.
His grip loosens, and for a moment, you think it’s over. But then he pulls you into a fierce embrace, pressing you tightly against his chest. His voice is soft now, almost soothing, but you can feel the heat of his body, the tension in his muscles.
“You’ll never pull away from me again, will you?” he murmurs, the words wrapping around you like chains. “I’ll never let you. You belong to me, and only me.”
You feel his lips brush against your ear, and it sends a chill down your spine. “I will punish you, yes… but only because I love you. I do it for us… for our future.”
His arms tighten around you, and you realize there’s no escape. His obsession, his love, has driven him to this point. He’ll do anything to keep you close, to keep you *his.*
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ─── ─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
Though Rengoku’s actions are extreme, it’s clear that he believes in the righteousness of what he’s doing. In his mind, this is not cruelty, but an act of correction. You have hurt him, after all, by distancing yourself from him, and he cannot allow that. The punishment isn’t physical — not in a brutal sense — but rather a form of emotional correction.
For the next few hours, Rengoku talks to you endlessly, making you repeat your affections for him over and over, ensuring that you understand just how deeply he loves you, and how *wrong* it is to push him away. His words are full of intensity, his affection all-consuming, like a fire that refuses to be extinguished.
He’s relentless, not in violence, but in the force of his devotion. He wants you to understand just how far he’s willing to go for you, how much he’s willing to sacrifice to keep you by his side.
By the time the night settles in, Rengoku finally releases you, his expression softening ever so slightly. He gazes at you with something akin to relief, as though he believes everything has been put right.
“You understand now, don’t you?” he asks, his voice calm once more, though the fire in his eyes still flickers like a burning ember. “You’re mine, and I will never let you go.”
He pulls you into his chest again, this time in a gentler embrace, as if to reassure himself that everything is as it should be. You’re his. And in his mind, that’s all that matters.

Tengen Uzui & Wives
The evening sun is beginning to set, casting a fiery orange glow over the hidden estate where Tengen and his wives live. The garden is serene, a stark contrast to the chaos inside. The household is usually filled with laughter, warmth, and love, but tonight, the air is thick with tension.
For the past few days, you've been distant. You’ve been avoiding Tengen’s attention, slipping away during meals, refusing his usual affections. At first, he thought it was nothing — maybe you were just tired, stressed, or distracted. But as the days passed, the distance between you grew more apparent. Your words were cold, your touches absent.
Tengen’s patience began to wear thin, and the playful teasing he usually offered was replaced with sharp, calculating stares. His wives noticed it too. They’ve been watching — protective of their shared bond with him, and increasingly frustrated with the way you’ve been pulling away.
Together, they’ve decided that tonight, they will show you the consequences of your actions.
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ─── ─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
You walk into the main room, thinking perhaps it’s just another evening. The house is quiet, too quiet. No sounds of Tengen’s usual flamboyant boasting or his wives’ gentle teasing. You take a step inside, but the moment you do, the door closes behind you with a soft but final *click*.
The room is dimly lit, with a single lantern casting long shadows on the walls. Tengen sits at the center of the room, his broad form illuminated by the flickering light. His eyes are piercing, cold, and unreadable. He’s no longer the joyful, loud, and boisterous Hashira you once knew. This version of him is intense, focused, and radiates a sense of undeniable authority.
Beside him, standing in a semi-circle, are his three wives: Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru. Each of them has an unreadable expression on their face, though there’s an unmistakable tension in the air. They’ve seen your actions — the distance you’ve been putting between yourself and Tengen — and they’re all just as upset as he is.
Tengen speaks first, his voice low and dangerous, but still somehow full of that confident swagger you’ve come to know. "You’ve been avoiding me," he states, not as a question, but as a matter of fact. His eyes flicker with something darker, something more intense. "You’ve been pushing me away, haven’t you? Even after everything I’ve done for you. After everything *we’ve* done."
You try to explain yourself, but before you can get a word out, Makio steps forward, her arms crossed, her expression stern. “We don’t tolerate disobedience in this house,” she says firmly, her voice like a blade cutting through the silence. “Not when you’ve been given so much love. So much *attention.*”
Suma, who’s usually the more gentle and naive of the group, looks at you with a mix of sadness and frustration. “You... you made Tengen angry. We can’t just let that slide. It’s not fair to him... to us.” Her voice trembles slightly, but there’s an underlying anger she can’t quite hide.
Hinatsuru is the quietest of them all, but the sharpness in her eyes says more than words ever could. She steps to Tengen’s side, placing a hand on his arm, a subtle gesture that solidifies their united front. "You know what happens when you make him feel neglected," she says softly, but there's a chill in her tone that makes you freeze. "We all suffer... and so do you."
Tengen stands up then, slowly walking toward you with a confident stride, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. His gaze never leaves yours as he moves closer, and the air around him feels heavy with a sense of finality. He doesn’t speak immediately, letting the tension build as his wives watch in silence.
Finally, he stops in front of you, his towering frame casting a shadow over you. “You’ve hurt my feelings,” he says, the words dripping with a possessive edge. “I thought you understood how much I care about you, how much we all do. But you... you didn’t even *try* to show us the same respect.” His eyes darken, the intensity rising. “So now, you’re going to learn what happens when you treat us like this.”
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ─── ─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
The punishment isn’t brutal, not in the traditional sense. It’s far more emotional, manipulative, and suffocating — exactly what you feared but didn’t know how to avoid. Tengen’s hands grip your shoulders roughly, holding you in place while his wives encircle you, their eyes cold and calculating. Each of them takes turns scolding you, their voices filled with a mix of disappointment and anger.
Makio speaks first, her voice low and threatening. “You think you can get away with ignoring us? That we won’t notice? We always notice. And we always deal with it. You will show us respect. You will show Tengen the love he deserves. If you don’t...” Her fingers trail lightly across your neck, sending a shiver down your spine. “Well, we can make it *very* uncomfortable for you, sweetheart.”
Suma’s hands rest gently on your arms, but her grip tightens in a way that is almost unnerving. “Please don’t push us away,” she says, her tone pleading but tinged with frustration. “Tengen’s heart is all we have. All we’ve *ever* had. You can’t just take that away from us. It’s not fair.”
Hinatsuru’s voice is the softest but most dangerous. “If you ever make him feel like this again, we won’t be so gentle,” she warns, stepping forward and resting her hand on Tengen’s shoulder. “You don’t want to see him upset like this. Trust me.”
Tengen finally speaks again, his voice calm but carrying a deadly edge. “You don’t get to make me wait. You don’t get to treat my love like it’s nothing. You belong to me. To *us.*” His grip tightens on your shoulders as he pulls you closer to his chest, almost suffocating you in his embrace. "We *own* you. And now, you’ll remember that. You’ll remember us. Forever."
His wives surround you, their presence looming like a suffocating force. The punishment is psychological. They remind you of your place in their world, that you belong to Tengen, that you owe him your unwavering loyalty and affection. They make you repeat how much you care for him, how much you love him, and how you will never distance yourself again.
By the time they’re finished, you’re left breathless, dizzy, and overwhelmed by the intensity of the emotions you’ve been forced to confront. Tengen pulls away, his demeanor shifting to something softer, almost affectionate, as if the entire ordeal were a test of your love and devotion. His wives, too, smile gently, though there’s a dangerous undertone beneath their kindness.

Giyu Tomioka
The evening is unusually quiet. The night sky is clear, and the gentle breeze flows through the trees of the Demon Slayer Corps' headquarters. You’ve returned from a long day of training, your body sore, your mind preoccupied. But as you make your way back to your shared quarters, you can’t shake the unsettling feeling that something is off.
The door creaks open, revealing Giyuu standing in the center of the room, his back to you. His usual posture is stiff, and his hair falls loosely over his shoulders. There’s an unsettling stillness about him, a coldness that makes you pause. Normally, Giyuu is reserved, even distant, but tonight there’s something more in his presence.
You step inside, trying to mask your unease, but as soon as the door clicks shut behind you, you feel the weight of his eyes on you. His gaze never wavers, and despite his quiet nature, there’s an intensity in the air — an intensity that makes you shiver.
"You're late," he says, his voice calm but laced with an edge that you can't ignore. His tone isn't accusatory, but it demands an answer, like a quiet storm waiting to break.
“I was training with the others,” you respond, your voice a little too soft as you try to gauge his mood. You don't want to upset him, not now, but you can't help feeling like something is wrong.
"You've been spending more time with them," Giyuu continues, his back still turned, his hands clasped behind him. "More time away from me."
You swallow, your stomach tightening. You’ve noticed Giyuu's mood shifting lately — his unspoken jealousy, his possessiveness. The way his eyes would linger a little too long when you spoke to others. It was subtle at first, but now it’s undeniable. The coldness in his voice now, the way he doesn’t even turn around to face you, makes your pulse quicken.
He finally turns, his gaze sharp and piercing, his face devoid of expression but his eyes full of something darker. "Why do you think that is?" he asks, his voice barely a whisper, yet it feels as though the words hit you like a blow.
You’re confused. "What do you mean?" you ask, though you know exactly where this is heading.
He steps closer, slowly, deliberately, until there’s no space between you. You’re trapped in his cold, unwavering gaze. "I’m the only one who matters to you, aren't I?" His voice drops lower, like a quiet threat. "Tell me. *Am I the only one you care about?*"
You feel the heat of his proximity, the tension in the air palpable. His eyes don’t blink, and his posture remains rigid. There’s no warmth in his presence, no reassurance — only a cold, suffocating weight that presses down on you. His fingers brush lightly against your cheek, but the gesture is distant, as if he's examining you, studying you for any sign of defiance.
"I don’t want to share you," he murmurs, his voice barely audible, the words almost a confession. "I don’t want to see you with anyone else. *You belong to me.*"
The phrase is possessive, a simple declaration of ownership that sends a shiver down your spine. You want to step back, to escape from his suffocating gaze, but his hand suddenly grabs your wrist, pulling you closer.
“Why do you make me feel this way?” he asks, his voice strained, as though he’s battling with something inside himself. “Why do you make me doubt you? Why do you push me away?”
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ─── ─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
Giyuu’s punishment isn’t loud or violent — it’s quiet, almost gentle, but it’s more emotionally intense than anything you’ve experienced. The way he forces you to stay in his presence, to accept his interpretation of love, is more a form of psychological control than anything physical.
He pushes you back against the wall, not roughly, but with a firm hand. "You know what happens when you hurt me, right?" he asks, his voice eerily calm, as if he’s rationalizing everything to himself. "When you make me feel like this, like I’m not enough, it’s your fault."
He leans in close, so close that his breath brushes against your skin, and for a moment, you think you see something flicker in his eyes — not just anger, but fear. He’s terrified of losing you. He’s terrified that, despite everything he’s done for you, you might slip away.
"You make me feel like I’m *losing* you," he repeats, his voice thick with emotion. His hand grips your chin, forcing you to look into his eyes, to confront him head-on. "And when I feel like I’m losing you, I don’t know what I’ll do." His fingers twitch as if he’s struggling to hold back the need to control, to make you understand just how deep his obsession goes.
"Say it," he demands, his grip tightening. "Say that you won’t leave me. That I’m the only one for you. That you’ll never push me away again."
The way he says it — the command in his voice, the way his hand almost bruises your skin — makes you feel trapped, suffocated by his unyielding presence. There’s no escape, not from his obsession, not from the hold he has over you.
“I’m sorry,” you whisper, your voice shaking as the weight of his words presses down on you. “I didn’t mean to upset you.”
His expression softens for a brief moment, the edge of his anger dissipating, but only momentarily. “I know you didn’t,” he says, his voice quiet now, almost affectionate, though it’s still laced with an underlying intensity. “But when you pull away from me… it hurts. I can’t stand it.”
Giyuu lets out a shaky breath, pulling you into a tight embrace, but there’s no comfort in it. His arms wrap around you like a vice, holding you in place, as if to make sure you can’t escape.
"You’re mine," he whispers in your ear. "You’re not allowed to leave me. Not now, not ever."
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ─── ─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
When Giyuu finally pulls away, he seems calmer, though the undercurrent of possessiveness remains. His eyes still watch you carefully, tracking your every movement, making sure that you understand the weight of what just transpired.
"You won’t do that again, right?" he asks softly, his voice almost gentle, but still filled with that same dark edge. His hands are still hovering near you, as if he’s afraid to let you out of his sight.
You nod quickly, too afraid to speak, your mind still reeling from the emotional intensity of the punishment.
“I’m sorry,” you finally manage to say, your voice barely a whisper. “I won’t pull away again.”
Giyuu nods once, his lips curling into a faint, almost imperceptible smile — a smile that doesn’t quite reach his eyes. "Good. Because if you do, I won’t let you go so easily."
As he pulls you back into his arms, you realize that his love, twisted as it is, is all-consuming. The grip he has on your heart is tighter than ever, and there’s no room for escape. You belong to him now — and in his mind, you always will. He can’t lose you, not when he lost so many people he loved.
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ─── ─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
Shinobu Kocho
The sun is setting over the Butterfly Mansion, casting long, soft shadows on the well-maintained gardens. The scent of flowers and herbs fills the air, and everything seems peaceful and serene. However, the atmosphere inside the mansion is thick with a tension that cannot be ignored.
You’ve been acting distant lately. Perhaps it’s because of the long hours of work with the Demon Slayer Corps, or maybe it’s the growing distance between you and Shinobu. Her sharp observations have not gone unnoticed. Every time you avert your gaze, every time your attention lingers elsewhere, she sees it. And Shinobu, ever the methodical strategist, has begun to grow suspicious. *Too* suspicious.
Tonight, you had planned to relax together, but she had noticed your hesitance to spend time with her. You were too busy to attend dinner with her. You seemed preoccupied with your own thoughts, even when you shared a room together. To her, it felt like a betrayal. And in Shinobu’s mind, a betrayal must be punished — no matter how small, no matter how trivial it may seem.
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ─── ─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
You arrive back at the mansion after a particularly grueling day. You think that you can slip into your room unnoticed, but as you enter the hallway, you’re met with the unmistakable sound of soft, measured footsteps. Shinobu stands at the end of the hall, her face as serene as ever, though there's something in her eyes — a quiet intensity, an unsettling coldness that makes your stomach twist.
Her expression remains calm, but her eyes narrow just slightly, a small detail that would have been easy to miss if you didn’t know her so well. "There you are," she says, her voice soft but carrying a weight beneath it. "I’ve been waiting for you."
You try to smile, to brush off the strange sensation creeping up your spine. "Sorry, I got caught up with a few things," you say, hoping it sounds convincing.
But Shinobu doesn’t smile back. Instead, she tilts her head ever so slightly, her eyes boring into yours as if she’s reading you. "Caught up with *what,* exactly?" Her voice is still sweet, still calm, but the underlying edge is sharp enough to send a chill down your spine.
“I… I just had some things to take care of,” you answer, a little too defensively. “It’s nothing to worry about.”
The corner of her lips twitches upward, but it’s not a smile. It’s something colder. "Oh, but I do worry," she says, stepping closer with each word. "I’ve been *worrying* about you all day. About why you’ve been so... distracted."
You try to step back, but she closes the distance in an instant, her movements eerily fluid, like the strike of a snake. Her fingers lightly graze your cheek, the touch so gentle, almost affectionate — but there’s something unsettling about the way her eyes never leave yours. She’s examining you, her gaze cold, sharp, calculating.
“I’ve noticed,” she continues, her voice lowering just a touch, “that you’ve been *avoiding me*.”
You swallow hard. It’s true. You haven’t been as affectionate with her lately. You’ve been distant. But you never thought it would come to this — you never thought she would notice or, worse, care so much.
Shinobu’s fingers trail down your arm, her touch light, like a breath against your skin, but the pressure builds. "Is there someone else?" she asks softly, her voice carrying a slight bite now. "Someone who’s distracting you from me?"
"No," you quickly say, your voice betraying you with its nervousness. "It’s not like that. I swear, it’s just—"
Her hand clamps down on your wrist suddenly, her grip deceptively strong. "Don’t lie to me," she whispers, her voice now dangerously sweet. "I don’t like being lied to. It makes me... upset."
She pulls you toward her, her fingers digging into your wrist, and with a swift motion, she presses you against the wall. The force of her body against yours sends a shiver down your spine. Her lips are barely a breath away from your ear, and she whispers in a tone so soft, it feels like a lullaby before the storm.
“You’ve been neglecting me, haven’t you? You’ve been avoiding me, pulling away from me. Why?”
You try to speak, but she cuts you off with a sharp, almost cruel laugh. "I think I know why. It’s because you think I won’t notice. You think I won’t see the way you look at others, the way you’re pulling away from me. You think I don’t care." She leans in closer, her lips brushing your ear as she continues. "But I *do* care. I care more than you can imagine."
You feel her hand slide up to your neck, her fingers almost delicately tracing along the skin. "And when I care this much... I have to make sure you don’t forget that." She looks into your eyes, her expression softening for just a moment, like a mask slipping, but then it’s gone, replaced by something darker.
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ─── ─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
Her grip on your neck tightens just slightly, not enough to hurt, but enough to make you realize she’s in complete control. “You’ve hurt me,” she whispers, her voice barely above a murmur, but it’s laced with a venom that makes your blood run cold. “You’ve made me feel abandoned. Do you know what happens when you do that?”
You try to speak, to apologize, but she silences you with a soft, almost mocking laugh. "Shh, no words. Just listen."
With one fluid motion, Shinobu pulls away and produces a small vial from the folds of her Haori. It’s delicate, and the liquid inside swirls in a soft, almost hypnotic way, like the poison she’s so skilled in handling. Her fingers caress the vial as she looks at you with an unsettling calmness.
"You know what this is, don’t you?" she asks, tilting her head. "This is a special blend of poison, something I’ve crafted just for moments like this. I’m not going to hurt you... not physically, at least." Her voice is soft, as if she’s talking to a child. "But I *do* need to remind you of something very important, something you seem to have forgotten."
You stare at her, your heart racing. "Please, Shinobu, I didn’t mean to—"
"You *will* learn not to neglect me," she interrupts. “You will learn what happens when you make me feel this way."
With a smooth, practiced motion, she presses the vial against your lips, not enough to force you, but enough that the threat is clear. "Drink it. *It won’t hurt... much.*" Her voice is so calm, so serene, it’s almost like she’s asking you to do something trivial.
You hesitate. “What is it?”
Shinobu’s smile widens, but there’s no joy in it. "Just a little something to help you remember who you belong to. Drink it, and you’ll be fine. You’ll learn your lesson, and we can go back to the way we were. But if you don’t... well, I’m afraid you’ll have to *earn* my forgiveness in more *painful* ways."
Her voice isn’t cruel, but the way she says it makes your skin crawl. This is her version of punishment — a soft, poisonous reminder of who has control, who holds the power. There’s no escape. You have no choice but to comply. If you refuse, you will feel the full weight of her wrath, and the consequences will be much worse.
You swallow, the taste of the substance bitter and sharp, and as it settles in your throat, you feel your vision blur slightly, the edges of your thoughts fading away. She watches you with an almost clinical detachment, but in her eyes, there’s a flicker of satisfaction.
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ─── ─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
Shinobu gently strokes your hair as you sit weakly against the wall, your body sluggish, but still functional. The poison isn’t lethal — it’s not meant to kill — but it leaves you dizzy, weak, and vulnerable. You feel like you’ve been brought to the brink of collapse, and her presence is the only thing anchoring you to reality.
"Now you understand," she murmurs softly, almost lovingly. "You *belong* to me. I can’t let you slip away. I won’t let anyone take you from me."
She kneels beside you, her fingers running through your hair as she watches you carefully, like a predator watching its prey. "From now on, remember who you belong to. I won’t tolerate being neglected. Not again."
Her voice softens as she leans closer, brushing her lips against your forehead in a chillingly gentle kiss. "I’ll always take care of you.

Mitsuri Kanroji & Obanai Iguro
The quiet evening settles over the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters. Most of the other Hashira are either out on missions or retreating to their own quarters. However, in the darkened halls of the headquarters, you find yourself walking nervously toward your room. You've spent the day with the other Hashira, and while you tried to be as courteous and friendly as possible, you couldn't ignore the growing discomfort in your chest. Both Obanai and Mitsuri had become more possessive, more demanding of your attention in recent days. They were always around, always watching, always needing you.
Tonight, you feel it more than ever. You know they’ll be waiting for you.
As you open the door to your room, you’re greeted by an eerie stillness. The flickering light of a candle illuminates the two figures standing in the center of the room. Obanai’s sharp, calculating eyes glimmer from the shadows, while Mitsuri stands beside him, her posture unusually rigid. Both of them are perfectly still, as though they’ve been waiting for you.
The door creaks closed behind you, and in that moment, you feel trapped. The atmosphere is thick with tension, a suffocating weight pressing down on you.
Obanai’s voice cuts through the silence, low and dangerous. “You’ve been avoiding us.” His gaze never wavers from you, his sharp eyes boring into your every movement, every breath.
Mitsuri tilts her head, her wide eyes filled with a mix of confusion and sadness, but underneath, there’s an unmistakable sharpness. “Why are you pushing us away? Why don’t you want to be with us anymore?” Her tone is sweet, almost pleading, but the undertone is possessive, demanding.
You try to explain yourself, but Obanai steps forward, his gaze narrowing. “Don’t lie,” he warns, his voice sharp as a blade. “I’ve seen the way you act around others. The way your attention lingers elsewhere. You think we don’t notice?”
Mitsuri’s expression falters slightly, but she quickly replaces it with a forced smile, though there’s a dangerous edge to it. “Obanai’s right. We can’t let you get away with this. If you love us… you’ll never act like this again.” She steps closer to you, her movements gentle but firm. “You belong to us, don’t you? We’re the only ones who truly understand you. The only ones who will ever love you like we do.”

Obanai and Mitsuri’s punishments are psychological and emotional, designed to reinforce the idea that their love is something you cannot escape from — that you belong to them, and they will go to any lengths to make sure you understand that.
Obanai moves first, his steps silent but quick, closing the distance between you in an instant. “You’ve hurt us,” he murmurs, his voice chilling in its calmness. “You’ve made us feel… unnecessary. Like you don’t care. Like we’re nothing.” He grabs your wrist in a vice-like grip, pulling you closer. His eyes flash with a cold, almost venomous glint. “Do you know how that feels?” he hisses, his breath hot against your ear. “To be ignored? To be treated like you’re just… replaceable?”
Mitsuri watches the scene unfold, her smile flickering for a moment as she steps closer, her fingers brushing lightly against your cheek in a tender, almost affectionate way. “We’re not angry at you,” she says, her voice soft but laden with an unsettling sweetness. “We just need you to understand. You’re ours. Only ours. Don’t you want to be with us? Forever?”
You feel a cold shiver run down your spine. They’ve both been so affectionate, so kind, but now their possessiveness is taking over. The warmth of Mitsuri’s touch feels suffocating, like a chain wrapping around your neck. You want to pull away, but Obanai’s grip on your wrist tightens, preventing you from moving.
“I want you to remember,” Obanai continues, his voice low, dangerous. “You will never push us away again. Not now, not ever.” He slowly starts to drag you towards the center of the room, his grip unyielding, as if he’s showing you exactly how much control he has over you.
Mitsuri steps in front of you, placing her hands on your shoulders and guiding you to your knees. “You belong to us,” she repeats, her eyes wide and sincere, though they carry an edge that makes your heart race. “You need to remember that. You can’t belong to anyone else. You can’t give your attention to anyone else.” Her voice softens, but the meaning behind it is clear. "If you keep this up, we won't be able to let you go. Ever."
Obanai steps back, watching you closely, his eyes full of calculation. “You’ll learn your lesson now,” he says, the coldness in his tone unmistakable. “Mitsuri will help you understand how much you mean to us.” His eyes flicker toward her, a silent command passing between them.
Mitsuri gently lifts your chin with her fingers, forcing you to look into her eyes. “We just want you to be happy,” she says sweetly, though her words are anything but kind. “We’re the ones who love you, who care for you. And if you won’t love us back the way we deserve, then we’ll make sure you understand.” She looks over her shoulder at Obanai, who gives a slight nod of approval.
Mitsuri’s hands slide from your face to your arms, her grip tightening slightly. Her eyes hold yours in a gaze that’s both soft and predatory, as if she’s trying to possess your very soul. “We can’t let you go. Ever. Don’t you understand? You can’t leave us.”
The words linger in the air, heavy and suffocating, and before you can react, she pulls you into a hug — tight and almost too tight. "You’ll see," she whispers softly, almost like a lullaby. "Once you realize how much we need you, how much we’ll always need you, everything will be okay. You'll never want to leave us again."
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ─── ─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
The punishment ends as quickly as it began, but the effect lingers. Both Obanai and Mitsuri stand in front of you, their expressions softening slightly as they take in your weakened, compliant form. You've been physically released from their grips, but the mental and emotional weight of their words and actions will remain with you.
Obanai tilts his head slightly, his voice now softer but still heavy with a sense of control. “You’ve learned your place,” he murmurs, as if the whole scene had been a lesson for you. “Good. Now remember it. You’re ours.”
Mitsuri places a hand gently on your shoulder, her smile returning — bright, sweet, but still hiding the darkness beneath it. “We’ll be gentle with you now. But don’t forget what happens if you act up again. We’ll always be here. Always watching.”
They both stand close to you, as if in a silent agreement, making it clear that there’s no escaping their love. In their twisted world, there’s no room for anyone else. You belong to them — body, mind, and soul.

Gyomei Himejima
The sun had just dipped beneath the horizon, and the world was bathed in the soft glow of twilight. The distant calls of birds echoed through the mountain air, but there was a quiet stillness that seemed to press against everything in the small temple. The only sound that mattered now was the steady breathing of Gyomei Himejima, the towering and muscular Hashira of the Stone Pillar.
He stood before the entrance of the temple, his thick, calloused hands gripping his war hammer with a firm but gentle hold, his broad shoulders tense with a mix of anger and sorrow. His normally stoic face was twisted into a scowl, the deep lines of his features more pronounced in his current state of emotional turmoil. Despite his imposing appearance, his eyes were filled with confusion and pain as he stared at his significant other, who stood just a few feet away from him.
His voice, when it finally came, was low and heavy, full of the raw intensity of his emotions. "Why? Why did you lie to me?"
Having been caught in a situation that would not be easily forgiven, stood frozen. They could feel the weight of Gyomei’s anger in the air, suffocating, like a thick fog. They had seen this side of him before—his temper, his overwhelming devotion. But this… this felt different. It was colder, darker, and far more dangerous.*
Gyomei’s grip tightened around his war hammer. The thought of betrayal, even if only a misunderstanding or a minor infraction, made his heart burn with a violent, uncontrollable passion. His love for his significant other was deep—almost obsessive. In his mind, *they were his*, and no one else could claim them, not even by a fleeting glance or a misplaced word.
"You... You hurt me." His voice broke slightly, like he was trying to hold back tears. His large, scarred hands shook, but his body remained still. "You... think I wouldn't notice? That you could deceive me?"
He took a step forward, his footfalls heavy and deliberate. His presence loomed larger with each step. "Did you think I wouldn't protect you? Did you think I wouldn't see it?"
His eyes locked onto them, his expression shifting into something that bordered on the edge of madness. "I give you everything, and yet you... betray me?"
You, feeling a tight knot form in their stomach, swallowed their fear. They opened their mouth, but words failed them. There was no justification, no excuse for what had transpired—an innocent interaction with another person, maybe an accidental flirtation or a misplaced compliment from someone else. But Gyomei didn’t see it that way. His mind was consumed by the thought that they had betrayed him, and his overwhelming protectiveness had twisted into something darker.
Gyomei closed the distance between them. His hands—rough as stone, yet gentle as a lullaby when he wished them to be—gripped their arms, pulling them close. There was no malice in the action, only the deep and suffocating need to have them close, to remind them of their place.
"Do you understand what you've done?" Gyomei's voice dropped to a whisper, dangerously calm, as his grip tightened. "Do you understand the pain you caused me?"
You felt a cold sweat form on their brow as they looked up at him, the immense size of the man before them causing their heart to race. His breath was steady, but his eyes—his eyes were like an unrelenting storm. They could see the conflict within them, the push and pull between the man who loved them and the monster he feared he might become.
"I love you." Gyomei said again, as if it were a plea, a prayer. "And I cannot let anyone take you away from me. I will not tolerate this again."
His voice shook slightly, and his body trembled with the effort to maintain control. "If you want to hurt me... then you'll have to suffer with me, too."
With a sudden movement, he let go of them and took a step back. The tension in the air grew thick, suffocating.
"Stay with me..” he said, his voice eerily calm now. "Stay with me, and never betray me again."
His eyes softened for a moment, almost like he was asking for reassurance, like he was trying to find the person he loved amidst the fear he had instilled. "Because if you do… I’ll have no choice but to make sure you never have the chance to hurt me again."
A silence fell between them. The weight of his words lingered, thick and suffocating, as Gyomei stood there, waiting for them to respond. His love was all-consuming, a devotion that would protect them at all costs—yet it also carried the potential for destruction.
Gyomei stared at them for a long moment before his face softened, and he stepped forward, enveloping them in an embrace so fierce it almost felt as if he were holding them together against the very forces of the world.
His voice was barely above a whisper now. "I know. I know, But please… never again."
And in that moment, the line between love and obsession blurred even further. Gyomei’s love was a promise, but it was one that came with a cost—a cost that would demand loyalty, faith, and unyielding devotion.
And for those who could not—or would not—return it, the consequences were far too steep to imagine.
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ─── ─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
Sanemi Shinazugawa
The night was unbearably still, save for the rhythmic patter of rain hitting the earth in a soft but unrelenting symphony. The moonlight barely cut through the thick clouds above, casting only faint shadows that danced across the mud-slicked paths surrounding the Shinazugawa estate. Inside, however, the air was thick with an entirely different kind of tension—a storm brewing inside a small, dimly lit room.
Sanemi Shinazugawa, the Wind Hashira, stood at the far side of the room, his muscles tense, his eyes wild with the storm raging within him. The rain tapped against the windows, but his focus was entirely on **[Y/N]**, his significant other, who was standing near the door, their hands trembling as they tried to maintain a semblance of control.
His silver hair, damp from the rain, stuck to his forehead, and his breath came out in harsh, uneven puffs. His eyes, which could burn with intensity in a battlefield, now burned with something far darker. There was anger—yes, but also hurt. It was a combination that turned his normally fierce expression into something almost unrecognizable.
"Y/n," he growled, his voice deep, rough, and laden with venom. "Why... why *didn't* you come back to me? Huh?"
Your heart raced, the fear creeping into their chest. They had made the mistake of walking away earlier that day, leaving Sanemi to deal with a mission on his own, something he had made clear *he didn't want to do alone*. It had been an innocent misstep, but with Sanemi, things were never that simple. He couldn’t handle even the slightest perceived abandonment, and now, his emotions had morphed into something much darker, like a storm on the verge of breaking.
"You were gone for hours," he continued, stalking forward with slow, deliberate steps. "Do you know what that does to me? Makes me think you're *leaving* me. Makes me think I’m not enough for you. Makes me think…" His voice trailed off, and his fingers clenched into fists at his sides.
You took a step back instinctively, unsure of what he would do next. "Sanemi, I—"
"Don’t *lie* to me," he barked, his voice rising like a whip, sharp and cruel. "I saw you. I saw you with *them*, didn’t I? Talking, laughing, so *comfortable* with them. You think I didn’t notice?"
His eyes glinted with that dangerous, obsessive glint, the look of a man on the edge, the kind of look that sent a chill through Your spine. They wanted to apologize, to explain, but something told them it was already too late.
Sanemi's fist slammed into the wall beside them, cracking the stone with a force that made the entire room shake. His breathing was ragged as he turned his gaze back to You, his eyes narrowing, wild and full of torment. He was no longer the calm, collected warrior of the Demon Slayer Corps. In this moment, he was a man consumed by jealousy, by the need to possess, by the overwhelming belief that his world—his *love*—was slipping through his fingers.
"*You belong to me,*" he growled, taking another step closer. His voice was quiet now, but there was a terrifying intensity in it. "Do you get that? You belong *to me*. No one else can have you. No one else can even *look* at you."
You flinched, their heart sinking. They tried to protest, to tell him it was nothing, that they hadn't meant anything by it, but Sanemi was already too far gone. He had built his entire sense of self on being strong—on being irreplaceable, unyielding—and to him, the idea of anyone threatening that, even inadvertently, was a betrayal.
Without warning, he seized their arm in a brutal grip, yanking them toward him with such force that you stumbled, caught off guard by the suddenness of it. They could feel his anger in every inch of his body, his pulse quickening as he pulled them closer.
"You don’t get it, do you?" he snarled, his teeth gritted. His other hand shot up to their chin, tilting their face upward so they were forced to meet his searing gaze. "You’re mine, and I will *never* let you forget that."
The tension in his muscles was palpable, as though the very idea of losing them was enough to tear him apart from the inside. His breath was warm against their skin, but his body was rigid, like a coiled spring about to snap. His voice was softer now, almost pleading, but still edged with a ferocity that couldn’t be ignored.
"I love you," he said, his words raw, almost desperate. "But if you ever *do* that again, if you ever make me think that you might leave me... I’ll make you regret it."
You felt the cold sweat trickling down their back, their mind racing to figure out how to calm him down. "Sanemi, I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to make you feel like that…"
But he wasn’t listening anymore. He was too far gone. His grip tightened painfully around their chin, and his eyes flickered with a deep, possessive hunger. "You better hope you don’t make me feel like that again," he warned, his voice dark and full of something dangerous. "Because next time, I won’t be so forgiving."
He finally released their chin, but not before his fingers lingered, his touch almost possessive in its lingering presence. Sanemi’s eyes softened just slightly, though the storm within them hadn’t passed completely.
"I’m sorry. I… I didn’t mean to hurt you," he muttered, the words barely a whisper. "But don’t make me feel like that again, okay? Don’t make me *lose* you."
The rawness in his voice made you feel a pang of guilt, but also fear—fear of what Sanemi might do next time. They had seen glimpses of this side of him before—the part of him that was willing to go to any lengths to keep them close. His love was fierce and unwavering, but in this state, it could also become all-consuming and suffocating.
He stepped back, though his eyes never left them. "If you understand, come here."
It wasn’t a request. It was a command. His voice had shifted back to its usual intensity, but there was still an undercurrent of uncertainty—a man who feared being hurt more than he feared hurting someone else.
You hesitated, but they took a step forward, slowly walking into his embrace, their body trembling as he enveloped them in his arms.
Sanemi held them tightly, his grip firm, almost desperate. "You’re mine," he whispered again, as if reassuring himself. "And no one—no one—will ever take you from me."
As you melted into his embrace, they knew that Sanemi's love was something fierce, something overwhelming—but also something that could easily turn to something darker if they weren't careful. His heart, full of passion and fear, was capable of both great devotion and devastating wrath. And they had just witnessed how far his love could push him.
And somehow, despite the fear, they couldn’t deny that part of them wanted to be the one to keep him grounded, to be the one who could save him from his own destructive need for control.

I got tired to write more of the characters but I might make a part two for Inosuke Hashibira, Nezuko Kamado, Tanjiro Kamado, Kanao Tsuyuri, Muichiro Tokito, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Genya Shinazugawa, Aoi Kanzaki if I have time. These characters would have a platonic relationship towards reader.
It’s really late right now and I apologize if my writing changed a few times or characters weren’t written correctly

Demon Slayer masterlist | Main masterlist
Mitsuri Kanroji and Obanai Iguro
It felt like everything stopped when they saw you, all they could focus on was you and how you walked, and how you carried yourself
Your criaturas, your uniform, your arms, legs, nose, mouth, hair, and eyes—every part of you was being carefully analyzed by the two hashiras who lightly blushed while looking at you
Form that day on they would watch you from afar, never too far from you, just enough to the point where it could be considered a coincidence that you happened to be in the same place where they were for what happens to be the 100th time.
It didn’t take long for Obanai and Mitsuri realizing they both share feelings for you, they agree to be together and try to convince you to join them as well
They would plan beforehand and show up at your favorite place to eat before you do so they can start a conversation with you and it wasn’t long until you were close with the both of them
They were waiting for the right moment to ask you to join them in the relationship and whenever you or someone showed interest, that person would end up not wanting to hang out with you anymore
You’d always go to where Obanai and Mitsuri and tell them how your friend stopped talking to you and told you they didn’t want anything to do with you, and how scared they seemed of you
“What a shame! I’m sorry, [y/n], we’re still here for you though, right Obanai?” Mitsuri reassured you while trying to hide her smile and looked at Obanai who nodded and gently caressed your hand
“We’ve been wanting to ask you something… important.” Obanai started and you looked at him with confusion, “we’ve been talking and we’re wondering if… you wanted to join in the relationship.” Misterio nodded and smiled at you.
Albeit hesitant, you agreed and you swore that you saw a malicious glint in their eyes before it disappeared just quick as it appeared
Their love is overbearing, you were never really outside anymore unless it was missions which involved either Obanai and Mitsuri going with you.
Mitsuri knows people see her as a gentle kind hashira and uses it as an advantage to make you stay with her in the estate, she looks at with teary eyes begging you to stay and hugging you close until you agree. If only you looked at her than you would’ve seen her coy smile.
Obanai on the other hand would tell you how dangerous it is and bring up how if your other friends left you, then who’s to say other people out there won’t? But don’t worry, they won’t leave you, they love you too much to ever do such a thing

(KNY) YANDERE PLATONIC! KOKUSHIBO x SISTER READER: You, Shibou. I, Kokoro (CHAPTER FIVE)
Previous Chapter ☆♡☆ Masterlist ☆♡☆ Next Chapter
AO3 link
CHAPTER FIVE: "These explanations are valid. But it should be known if the same day a friend of the desperate hasn't spoken to him with an indifferent tone.."
Mourning is the expression of grief after someone died. There are several types of mourning with an example being Chronic Grief.
Symptoms for this kind of grief can include extreme feelings of hopelessness, A sense of disbelief and a loss of meaning. All of which can lead to severe clinical depression or thoughts of self harm and even suicide.
The song of sparrows and swallows danced through the summer breeze, All sat nestled within the vegetation as they hummed their melody.
The soft sunlight shone down upon the shrine, Giving a blessing of quiet light to the abundance of blossoming flowers nearby. [F/N] blinked once, Trying to figure out whether what she was seeing was a mirage or reality.
Was this the afterlife? It certainly felt like it as the gentle warmth caressed her skin, A calm embrace that pacified her worries. It felt peaceful, Something so tranquil that she couldn't help but melt into the porch she was perched on.
She felt the heat of the wood as she laid against it, Like a firm hand cupping her cheek as she basked in the sunlight. Her worries quickly dissolving into nothing at the touch.
Afterlife.. Why did she mistake her everyday as the Afterlife? How did it even come up in the first place? [F/N] had no idea. She huffed lightly, Only mildly confused as she nuzzled further into the comfort of the timber.
She took a moment to take it all in. The rustle of the leaves, The cicadas in the bushes, The clear sapphire skies looking over her. It was beautiful, A serene little world all to herself, It was paradise.
Life was nice, It was simple and tranquil. She tended to the crops, To the shrine and the wellbeing of the forest. And after she was done with that she could spend her day roaming around with the wildlife, Spending time with her brothers and watching them train.
It was good.
"[F/N]..!"
She heard her name called out to her, And without a second thought or any bodily control [F/N] jolted up from her lying position to look across the courtyard.
"Lying on the porch again? You're gonna get sunburn if you keep doing that.."
[F/N] watched her older brother, Michikatsu, Slowly make his way over to her. He had a single hand on the hilt of his sword while the other was wiping the training sweat from off his brow, A light smile playing on his face as he did.
"Michi-Nii! You're back!" [F/N] exclaimed as she hopped up from the porch, Quickly dusted herself off before running over to him and jumping into his arms so swiftly that it made him stumble back a bit.
"Ah! [F/N], You need to be more careful.. You could of knocked me over." Michikatsu scolded, Yet the warmth playing in both his eyes as he held her up told [F/N] all she needed to know.
"As if! You're too tough for that." [F/N] grinned as she looked down on her older brother.
Michikatsu shook his head lightly
"You really give me too much credit sometimes.." Michikatsu remarked as he brought his gaze away from her, His smile was still there yet [F/N] could see the slight quirk.
She reached over and held his shoulder, The touch bringing him back to his senses as he looked right back at [F/N].
"You don't give yourself enough credit, You're able to train for hours at a time and not even get tired. I'd definetly consider that tough!" [F/N] said, The smile evident in her voice as she said so.
Michikatsu frowned
"I hear you saying things like that all the time to Yorichii, You know? I appreciate your words but.." Michikatsu trailed off from his sentence, The venomous undertone spiking in concentration at the mention of his twin.
[F/N] squeezed his shoulder.
"…But Yori-nii doesn't train for hours at a time, Does he? I mean all my words to him, I really do but if I am being honest.." [F/N] paused as she lowered her voice. "You've got drive to be strong. It's really admirable, You know? Yori-nii may be strong and such but honestly, You have the passion to do it.. It's you who I look up to." [F/N] admitted.
A nervous giggle followed her words, Like she was slightly embarrassed by the fact she was actually able to confess it to him.
Michikatsu seemed shocked as he heard this, The light in his blank eyed stare seemed to spark up like wood to friction as he looked up at his sister. The grip on her grew only a smidge tighter as he smiled.
"You.. You really mean that?" Michikatsu asked.
[F/N] beamed back at him, An expression that almost seemed as warm as the sun as she looked back at him.
"Of course I mean it! You're my-" [F/N] cut herself off suddenly, Her words dying on her tongue. The happy grin slowly dissolving into a puzzled frown.
"[F/N]?" Michikatsu asked as he noticed the grip on his shoulder loosen, Then eventually fall to her side.
"You're my.." [F/N] mumbled. Michikatsu set her down onto the ground, Her feet lightly touching the smoothed dirt as she stood there quietly.
Michikatsu went down onto a single knee to level his eyes with her far-off ones.
"[F/N].. Are you alright?" He asked, Eyes searching for the answer as he watched her brows knit together. Her stare returning to him as her visage contorted into a slightly alarmed expression.
"I.. I don't know.. Who are you?" [F/N] exclaimed, Her stance stumbled back. Her breath growing heavy as she felt the world around her darken, The sun burning so bright before seemed to melt away into a endless black void.
"[F/N]" Her name sounded so distorted when he spoke now, As she looked back at him she could see that it wasn't just the sun that was melting.
It was his face too.
Like melting wax his features turned into sludge. His nose, Eyes and mouth all dripped down and fell into a puddle on the ground, Which started pulling them both in like quicksand.
[F/N] screamed.
She tried to pull away once his molten arm lunged out for hers, Yet she was too slow. His rapidly deteriorating limb locking onto hers, Yanking her forward off her feet and into his grasp.
[F/N] cried even louder, Tears starting to rush out of her ducts as she felt the sludge touch her skin.
He kept making noises as he pulled her in, Strangled and choked wails like he was in pain. Like his vocal chords were mangled and severed inside his throat. [F/N] struggled, She flailed about in his hold. Kicked, Punched, Hit, Anything. Anything at all to get out of the sludge starting to envelop her whole.
It latched onto her legs, Onto her arms and her mid-section. It was like it was desperate, Like it's life depended on bringing her as close as possible.
What was happening? Why was the entire world that seemed so tranquil before turn into a candle wax nightmare? The entire world seemed to follow suit of the monster intent on consuming her, Dripping away and mixing together like a raindrops on a window.
Her screams mixed into the dissolving world too, Sounds combining with the shrill cries of the monster as she felt the nigh-boiling heat of his molten flesh grasp onto her face. [F/N] felt her own skin start to bubble.
Then eventually, She felt herself start to melt.
☆♡☆
Her body jolted like skin to an exposed wire, Eyes shooting open as she gasped for air.
She felt her lungs rapidly expand then decrease, A cold sweat running down her back as she tried to gather her racing thoughts. [F/N]'s body felt like it had been frozen to the touch, Both with the sheer temperature of the chilling room and the stiffness of her unthawed limbs. They felt so numb, The only feeling was the minute aching of her joints so far spread that it was like she hadn't moved in weeks.
What happened? [F/N] gripped the side of her head, A throbbing pain in her frontal lobe pulsated as she groaned in pain. It made it hard to recollect herself, To remember what could of happened.
Her spare hand felt around, Vision still a tad blurry as her fingers met the soft touch of thick fabric.
[F/N] tried to blink away the fuzz in her sight as she continued to feel around, It was the cotton bedding of a futon.
She groaned, Finally piecing together enough parts of the puzzle to come to terms of what happened.
[F/N] had fallen asleep, She had another nightmare.
[F/N] sighed. A tired yet tad annoyed exhale of air escaped her lungs as her body stilled onto the futon like a rolling coin, The soft mattress feeling like delicate silk on her skin as she relaxed.
Her memories, They came back to her like a heeling dog. [F/N] recalled the fight with Uppermoon one, Her fatal injuries, The destruction of her shrine.. She felt her heart jolt at the thought of it.
The walls which sheltered her through thick and thin, The ruined hallways that held such talkative life and the ceilings that housed the injured and maimed.. All destroyed within a single night.
The thought of it disgusted [F/N], During the fight she hadn't thought much of it- The raw adrenaline being a distraction to it's fall. She calmed down rather quickly however.
The fight with the Uppermoon, Her injuries, The shrine's destruction. It wasn't real, It couldn't be.
Because she was currently lying in her bedroom.
It was dark, [F/N] could barely see a foot in front of her due to the poor lack of lighting. Despite it however she could make out the basic shapes of furniture lying within the shadows. The closet, The dresser and the tatami mats lain out were all there, Just like they've always been.
The shoji door's that let in only a crack of periwinkle light, The several statues of worship scattered about, Everything she owned, They were here.
It all must of been a dream, Her bedroom was destroyed along with the rest of the shrine so it was completely impossible to be lying down on her futon right now.
[F/N] felt a low frustration rise in her throat. These nightmares were getting out of hand. It was easier when it was the blizzard, Then she knew what to expect, She knew what she was getting into despite how horrid it would be.
Now? Dreams involving "Uppermoon one", Both the melting flesh and the shrine invasion were so much worse. They changed every time, She had no idea what was coming, Had no preparation at all.
The latter was particularly worse. Mitsuri's face, Her hysterical begging for [F/N] not to go, It burned into her mind like a branding. Not to mention the finality of her death only to wake up and find out it was just a nightmare.
[F/N] thought she finally got it over with, She supposed not however, The shrine was proof of that.
Though these dreams had to be a sign, But of what?
[F/N] stretched her arms slightly, Trying to wear off the numbness in her joints as she tried to haul her upper body into a sitting position, Only to yelp out in pain and fall back into the silky mattress.
A sharp pain feeling appeared in her abdomen once she tried to get up, It felt like a dozen knives stabbing into her, Twisting and turning within her guts.
[F/N] groaned, Her hands reaching down to the point of pain only to come to touch with what felt like bandage dressing.
Her eyes widened, Needing to confirm this information she quickly shoved off the covers protecting her from the cold draft. And sure enough, She was right.
Wrapped tightly yet carefully across her abdomen were thick bandages, Wrapped entirely around the front to her back.
Small splotches of red seemed to stain parts of the dressing, One's that made [F/N]'s jaw drop agape as she peered down at her core.
What.. What does this mean..?
Her dream.. In her dream she was fatally wounded, She had finally died.. All due to deep injury inflicted on her. It had to be a dream though, She was in her shrine of course!
But it was here, The dressing was covering the exact place she had been struck.
[F/N] planted both hands on each side of her and with great effort she slowly pushed herself up into a sitting position, Careful not to trigger the pain.
Beads of sweat rolled down her forehead as she finally sat up. She was simply dressed in an oversized Jinbei, Sleep clothing that seemed too big for her stature yet stayed comfortable draped on it anyways.
She breathed in and out. What was happening? The shrine around her started to seem more distorted than it did before. Furniture seeming bigger or smaller than she remembered, Things misplaced.
All of it just starting to seem.. off.
It was her shrine but.. Something was wrong. Something very wrong. The feeling creeping up her spine didn't help either. An uncomfortable dread climbing up her back and drenching her in sweat, A feeling that felt like she was being watched.
Her open maw snapped shut. Her body growing rigid in place, The eyes like that of a gorgons.
Something was watching her
From her peripherals, She could see six glowing amber eyes were watching her from within the darkness.
They were piercing. Even though she only dared to see through the corners of her vision she could tell how intense their gaze was, How they seemed to be looking right through her, Glaring right into her soul.
She felt her hands start to tremble. Her mouth growing dry as her thoughts felt like they were going a thousand miles per minute, Racing to find a solution.
The eyes.. There eyes were looking at her.. What was she going to do? What could she do?
[F/N] had no time to think as they started to move.
The six glowing points shifted and moved within the shadows like fireflies. [F/N] could only make out the general shape of the being as it morphed within the darkness into what looked like a standing position.
[F/N] didn't need to have another thought, She knew who it was. It was the man from her 'dreams'.
Uppermoon one.
In her dream or at least what she thought was a dream he seemed much less.. Imposing. It's not to say he wasn't, He certainly was but it was easily ignorable due to the heat of the moment and [F/N]'s own desires.
But now as his frightening form emerged from the dark corners, His sinister prescence nigh-radiating from his figure she could only turn her head over in horror to meet his hellish visage staring right back at her.
This was the man from her dreams. The man in the blizzard, This was him.
The image of his open mouth ready to bite down, Body lunging for her. Teeth digging into the flesh of her arm. All of it flashed in her mind in rapid motion. How could she be so stupid to not figure it out?
This was what Inari was warning her about.
"You're awake.." His voice sent a freezing chill through her system, Her heart feeling like it was restarting inside of her chest as her breathing grew ragged.
Her mask. Where was her mask?
[F/N]'s fight or flight activated. Her fighter instincts finally kicking in as her hand shot out to where her mask usually sat, Hidden within her haori.
But she came up empty, Her hand only touching the side of her jinbei.
Her mask was nowhere in sight.
"I've been waiting so long.. For you to awaken.." Uppermoon one rasped. He took careful calculated steps towards her, A steady pace that moved him closer to [F/N] ever so slowly.
What was he going to do to her? She couldn't fight back, Her mask..
She was completely useless without her mask. It was the source of her body strength, The one she was most used to fighting in. Her body now was too frail, Not to mention the large gash in her abdomen.
She was helpless.
The only thing she could do was back away on the futon, Pushing herself as far into the corner as she could. Get as much distance between him and her as she eyed him up and down, Waiting for his next move.
"W-What do you want.. How am I here..?" Her voice was filled with defensive malice, Yet it shook under the weight of the situation. Her terror seeping through it all.
Kokushibo didn't falter in his stride as he approached her. The room was dark, The only thing illuminated was his eyes as he stopped in front of the futon. Staring down at her shrunken form.
His eyes narrowed as he looked at her, His knee's crouching down so he was as close to her level as possible.
[F/N] felt like a sitting duck under him. His hand reached out, Light from his eyes shining off his claws.
She clenched her eyes shut, Not wanting to know wha-
A cold palm touched the side of her cheek, A chilling sensation that felt like dry ice on her skin, So much so that it almost felt a scorching fire.
"Open your eyes.. I want to see them.." He commanded. Out of fear she did what he said and gazed up at him.
She looked upon his face, Her eyes locked onto his that looked down at her with such an odd emotion, Such a strange way his bloodshot eyes seemed so calm. A way that disturbed her down to her very core.
His palm was cupping her cheek, Claws careful not to graze her as his thumb rubbed gently over her skin. Eyes searching for something before a small uncanny smile appeared on his face looking so unnatural on him, Showing off the row of sharp teeth settled in his maw.
"You're here.. You're really here.. The gods have given you back to me after all these centuries.." He mumbled under his breath as his thumb rubbed the outline of her cheekbones.
[F/N] didn't understand, Mind like tangled threads as she spoke out once again.
"W-Where am I.. Why.. W-Why am I alive?" She cried. Tears brimming on the ledge of her eyes as she shied away from his sickening touch, Not for long however as his hand just gripped the side of her face harder, Keeping her in place.
Kokushibo shook his head lightly.
"You are frightened.. It is understandable.. You have woken up with an injury and most assumedly a headache.. I do sincerely apologise for that.. But I ask you to calm down.. You are safe now.." He spoke, His tone trying its best to mimic a comforting tone while [F/N] didn't believe his words for a single second.
She swallowed down the sheer terror in her throat.
"A-Answer me.. W-Why am I here.. Alive?" [F/N] repeated. Kokushibo only caressed the side of her cheek, His face filled up with thought as he began to speak.
"..It is a rather silly question.. Why you are here should already be obvious to you.. And alive..? You are lucky I was able to provide first aid.. Otherwise.." He trailed off, The last of his words going unspoken as his smile dropped.
[F/N] took the chance to speak, A small slither of vigour still left in her as she did.
"It's not obvious at all.. Explain it to me, I-I should be dead.. I should.. Why am I alive, Where am I.. What do you plan on doing with me?" She looked back up at him with the steadiest expression she could muster, One of which he completely ignored in favour of his stare turning.. Miffed.
"You.. You should be aware of why you are here.. Do you not recognise me, Little one?" Kokushibo asked. His demeanour started to shift to a more recognisable aura, Something serious. More dark in the hum of his voice.
"I-I.." She recognised him alright. His face was burned into her vision every time she blinked. Met his eyes every time she slumbered, But judging by the tone of his voice.. That wasn't the right answer.
"No.." [F/N] said, Shaking her head as she watched his frown contort into a scowl. One which she shrunk back into the corner at as he dropped the hand cupping her cheek, Letting it fall to his side.
"I.. No.. You said my name.. You called me by my nickname, The one you always used.. You remember, Don't you?" Kokushibo's voice, The serious tone was still there, Permeating his voice yet the lilt undertone of a pleading man, Desperate and confused radiated within his voice.
[F/N] sharpened her jaw, She had no idea what he was talking about. He spoke as if he knew her, Like she was an old friend yet she couldn't recall ever knowing him.
"I.. I don't know your name.. I-I.. I don't know who you are.." [F/N] replied.
Her words seemed to trigger something within him, His scowl growing more angry as he backed away from the futon. [F/N] watched on as he turned his back to her, His body going completely still, Almost disturbingly so as he just stood there without making a single move.
[F/N] took a deep breath in, One she didn't know she needed as she tried to steady the beating of her drumming heart. The sweat dripped down her face freely, She needed to make a move.
Quietly swinging her legs over the side of the futon she placed them down onto the wooden floorboards, All while eyeing the demon a few feet away from her like an ticking bomb.
[F/N] softly got up from the futon. The pain in her abdomen diluted down, The shock before had caused it to seem worse than it already was. It was bad, But she could work with it, She always had.
She placed another foot down in front of her, The wooden boards were old, She needed to be careful as she quietly circled around him. Trying her best not to alert him to her movements as she went.
[F/N]'s stretched out hand eventually felt the wood of the shoji door, The one letting bioluminescent light through the single crack it made. Feeling around she caught her fingers on the edge.
She carefully slid it open, Though it didn't matter as the careful light illuminating from the other side flooded into the room like a rising sun over a dead night. Snapping Kokushibo out of whatever trance he had been in and jerk his head over to her position.
"You..!"
[F/N] didn't wait to hear what he had to say, Her feet moved for her as she took off into the hallway at the first alarm raised.
She ran throughout the hall barefoot, The sole of her foot feeling the sharp splinters digging into her like porcupine hide as she went. It didn't matter in the slightest though, Not the pain stabbing into her soles or the warped caricature of her shrine's hallways as she sprinted through past the old tapestries and near-ancient support beams.
Is he following me? Where's the exit? Run now, Think later she chided. [F/N] didn't stop for a second to look around or listen out for the possibility of heavy footsteps following her as she went. Her mind was dead-set on escape.
She sharply turned round corners, Fumbled her way through the winding hallways as she finally reached a set of creaked cedar stairs. [F/N] took no time in descending them, Each step slightly bending under her quick motions as she got to the bottom.
Despite the warped mimicry of her shrine, Walls and hallways worn out and minimized, [F/N] could still navigate it with a finesse that left her fast on her feet.
Her internal GPS carried her feet and guided her along. In front of her was the main shrine doors, Two wide cedarwood doorframes with windows that let in a bluish-green light into the shadow blessed pathway.
This was it. She was going to get out, It was only a few more seconds until she reached her salvation. Her exit from this live-nightmare, Such a thought that made her pace quicken. Heart thudding so hard she felt like it would explode.
[F/N] reached out her steady hands, Reaching the door she slammed her hands down and shoved them wide open to where the courtyard should be.
Rushing out int-
[F/N] stride shuddered in its steps. The once determined sprint fizzled out into a walk, Then she stopped completely in her tracks all together.
Her eyes widened, Irises shaking in their sclera as she felt her knees start to wobble.
W-What.. What does this.. Where..
In front of her wasn't the courtyard. No.. It wasn't the courtyard at all.
Standing before her was an infinite sea, An endless dark plane that seemed to stretch on forever. There was no end. Up, Left, Right.. All of it was an infinite expanse in all directions. A fast breeze blew out from nowhere at all, Hitting her face and snapping her out of the horrified trance she was stuck in.
She snapped her head down to the ground she was standing on. What should of been the smooth dirt of the courtyard was instead a wide rickety dock, One that seemed just as endless as the void, Branches of the dock stretching out like tree roots around the shrine connecting and ending seemingly at random.
This.. This couldn't be real… This must be another dream, It had to be! It appeared like a lovecraftian-esque pocket dimension, Nothing from the real world, Nothing from reality at all.
Her palms were clammy. [F/N] took a few wearied steps, Disbelief shown in her eyes as she felt the heel of her foot land on nothing. She yelped out, Quickly backing up onto the dock as she peered over the edge.
It was an aquamarine sea. The one that the dock's structure ventured deep down into the depths of, Blurring out in the faint turquoise glow rising up from the foaming aqua. Gumussevri, The light it emitted being the only source within the infinity surrounding them.
This didn't make sense.. It couldn't.. How could it? [F/N] felt the glimmer of hope extinguish under the seafoam waves of the water below. How could she ever hope to escape..?
[F/N] felt the slow depression of the dock before she heard the footsteps. Heavy, Slow and stoic as she felt the doors behind her shut gently, That being the thing bringing her attention as she turned around.
Kokushibo was only a couple metres away from her. [F/N] felt her eye twitch, That's why he didn't run after her.. That's why he didn't catch her a soon as she stepped foot out of the room.
He knew she had nowhere else to run.
"[F/N].. I am offended.. Why would you try to get away from me..? You.. You must remember me.. You must. You said my name, It's undeniable proof.." He accused, Standing in a complete stance.
His eyes pierced into her like javelins, Sharp and scrutinizing yet it still held that strange quality of desperation. It made her shiver and that in turn made his frown sharpen. How he knew her first name didn't matter to her in that moment, She only opened her mouth ready for a rebuttal.
[F/N] breathed. She had gotten this far.
"I've told you, I don't know your name nor do I know how you know mine. I don't know who you are and I certainly don't know what you want with me.. Whoever you think I am, I am obviously not." [F/N] argued. She bared her teeth, Trying to steady her jaw.
Kokushibo shook his head. He took a single step towards her and in response she took several more back.
"[F/N].. You have been asleep for a few weeks.. I suppose I should of predicted your confusion but.." He paused
"Maybe it's possible that you don't recall.." He muttered. A few weeks?! She had been asleep for several weeks, Assumedly healing under the care of this cold monster standing in front of her acting friendly as it could.
She'd lament over it later though, What mattered was here and now. And right now he was starting to aggravate her.
[F/N] clenched her fist. How stubborn could he be? She didn't know him, Had only seen him as warnings in dreams yet he acted as if they had known each other for decades. He was completely delusional and to spite all the terror she was feeling in this moment, It pissed [F/N] off.
"Then if you do not remember.. Let me refresh your memory, Little one.." Kokushibo said.
"My name is Kokushibo.. I hold the highest rank within the twelve moons, Sitting at Upperrank one.." He started.
"Though.. You should be recognising me as Michikatsu Tsugikuni.. Your older brother.." Kokushibo announced, His eyes staring down onto her, Closely examining her facial expression. Waiting intently for her reaction.
[F/N] stilled. Her body growing rigid as if she was fixed to the dock by nails.
"..I'm sorry.. What?" She asked. Her eyes blinking rapidly as she looked up at him in disbelief.
"..I am your big brother.. And you are my little sister.." He repeated so clearly yet his voice seemed incoherent to her ears. [F/N] swallowed a lump in her throat, If she thought he was delusional before he now looked completely insane to her now.
He was a demon.. An Uppermoon, He must of been hundreds of years old at the very least yet here he was claiming to be her sibling? It didn't add up, He looked at her like she was meant to understand but she couldn't find a single puzzle piece that fit.
"Impossible.. You're hundreds of years old and I have absolutely no older siblings.."
Kokushibo breathed out, The carbon dioxide showing in the chill-raising air as he took another step forward towards her. This time, [F/N] didn't move back.
"Impossible, Yes.. I thought the same thing once I saw you again.. You died near enough five hundred years ago yet there you were.. Bleeding out within the rubble of your desecrated shrine.. For centuries I grieved for you.." He lamented. A sudden pain crossing him as he seemed to recall something deep within him.
He was spouting sheer madness. He was the one who took her here against her own wishes and nursed her back to physical health, It made her heart writhe around inside her and this time she couldn't bite her tongue.
"I-I am not your sister, We are not related in any way… I don't know how goddamn delusional you need to be to think as such! You are a demon, Not my brother.. I want you to piss off and leave me alone, You fucking monster!" [F/N] cried. The terrified tone only an afterthought suddenly grew back into the forefront of her mind as she watched him close.
As soon as the word monster rolled off her tongue his body stilled, His expression going blank as he stared down at her with an unrecognisable expression. It disturbed her right down to her stomach, Even more so when she felt the heat.
"You.. You will not speak to me like that, Little one.." He said through gritted teeth. [F/N] felt her body raise up into that state of flight or fight once more, His soul radiating such a boiling hot heat that [F/N] could feel it in her bones.
It was obvious he was trying to hold back his anger, Yet it spilled out of the brims of his expression. The twitch of his fingers and the glare he gave her, She could tell and it utterly horrified her.
"As your older brother and the last remaining head of our clan.. You will treat me with respect.. It doesn't matter if you're confused or have.. forgotten entirely.. You address me in proper honorifics like a good younger sister should." Kokushibo hissed. Venom near dripping off every word as he started approaching her trembling form.
His footsteps were slow, Drawing out every step as he finally loomed over her. Shadow cast over him as [F/N] looked up at him, Body aching for her to run.
Whatever façade of cold comfort he put up was completely shattered now, His eyes brimming with malice and his fingers itching the reach for the hilt of his sword. Itching to strike her down.
"I've been praying for this day for centuries.. For the wish that you would come back to me.. You said you would never leave me again, And I fully intend to hold you to your promise.. You cannot run.. So come back here now and I will forget this little mistake.. If you do not, I assure your time here will be much more.. Nightmarish.." He commanded lowly. Slowly moving towards her
"..No matter how far you go I will always be right behind you.. You will not escape me."
But that didn't mean she wasn't willing to try.
Her legs moved before she could comprehend she was. Quickly turning around and sprinting off down the dock in her nightwear and splotched dressing as she cried out in sheer utter helplessness.
Kokushibo paused as he watched her go. He didn't bother run after her, He knew she wouldn't get far.
As [F/N] carefully navigated throughout the labyrinth of docks she could hear his quiet voice call after her, Echoing through the void and seeping through her as she ran.
"Tire yourself out all you want.. Run as long and as far as you like but you will never be able to leave me.. Not again. When you come back.. Do not expect to be treated with such affection that I have offered you thus far.. Not until you stop with this stupid rebellious phase of yours.."
Though [F/N] could barely hear him, As his silhouette shrunk further and further into the vastness of the void.
All until he disappeared completely

Knock! Knock! Knock!
Three soft and precise knocks hit against the thin cut of the rosewood door.
Sounds of quiet shuffling could be heard from within the house, Settling of cups and screeching of chairs as footsteps started to move their way over to the closed entrance.
The door slid open only a peep, Only enough for the weathered face of a middle-aged man to careen his head over to get a good look out past it.
"Hello..?"
"Hello there!" A polite and cheery voice spoke out to him, One that sounded exaggerated and overly-friendly compared to his quiet yet cordial tone. The girl the voice belonged to smiled lightly and clasped her hands together.
"My name is Shinobu Kocho from the Demon Slayer Corps, If I am not mistaken.. This is the Kanroji household is it not?" Shinobu asked. Glassy orchid eyes staring into the ones of the older mans, His own softened at her introduction as he nodded.
"Ah.. Yes. You two must be my daughter's colleague's." He said. The slightly cracked open door slid ajar, His shoulders softening and a small welcoming smile grew onto his aged face as he looked at the two slayers.
Shinobu, A woman of short stature similar to that of a mantis. She held an eternal far off gaze that seemed clouded with the salesman smile plastered onto her face like concrete. Her butterfly haori and short tied hair danced in the wind as he looked over at the other man behind her.
"Greetings.." Was all the other slayer said as he lightly bowed down to him.
Despite being taller than his colleague, He was still rather short. He had a mop of choppy black hair that looked overgrown as it covered his shadowed his face well, That and along with the bandages he used as a mask made his features nigh hidden. The only thing peeking out from over the mask was mismatched eyes.
"Ah, You must have more manners then that!" Shinobu exclaimed lightly as she giggled it off.
"I apologise for my friend here.. This is my co-worker Iguro Obanai. And yes, We're here to see Mitsuri-chan about recent events I'm sure you've been informed of?" Shinobu inquired, Tilting her head to the side while Obanai muttered something under his breath and swept his head to the side.
Mr. Kanroji nodded, His smile only dropping an inch.
"Yes.. I'm aware. You two better come in then." He nodded as he stepped a side, Raising an arm to welcome them into his abode. Shinobu smiled and thanked him as she made her way inside, Iguro following closely behind her as they entered the livingroom.
It was a cosy little room, It was homely and warm yet had enough room for a large family to move around in comfortably. It was beautifully decorated, Clean-cut furniture and masterfully painted moving doors.
It was a rather large family home, The inner walls of the house being compiled of entirely open shoji-doors revealing the wide open plan of the entire building.
"It's a nice home you have.." Iguro muttered as he made his way to the middle of the room.
"Thank you. Me and my wife are both rather house-proud.." He chuckled lightly "It's been easier to take care of since the little ones have grown bigger and gotten much more responsible. I love them all, But do they make mess I'd tell you.."
Shinobu airily laughed along with him.
"Yes! I have a few little girls who I provide for back home with me, Children are quite troublemakers aren't they?" Shinobu replied as she turned to the man.
"Aha! Isn't that the truth.." He smiled. "Though unfortunately we aren't here to talk about our kids.."
"No, Unfortunately not." Iguro confirmed, Nodding his head lightly as he started talking.
"It's about The Shrine Invasion Incident that occurred a few weeks ago, We're here to talk to Mitsuri-san about what happened when she was there and get her statement. About both the demon that attacked and the.. Casualties" Iguro explained.
Mr. Kanroji sighed.
"Yes. You're referring to [F/N], Right?" He asked.
Shinobu nodded.
"Correct. I understand that [F/N] was very close to Mitsuri-chan.. That and along with Fujimori-san of course." She said. As she did she slid a quick wink over to Mr. Kanroji and subtly signalled towards Iguro, Who didn't notice a thing.
Mr. Kanroji paused before nodding back.
"Right. Come, We can discuss this while we walk" He said. Beckoning them with his hand and turning his back and starting to walk at a leisurely pace out of the livingroom. Both slayers nodded and followed after him.
"So, Can you recall what happened when she came home?" Shinobu asked him as she trailed behind.
"Yes. It was in the early morning.. Both me and my wife were barely awake when we heard the banging on the door. When we opened it she just ran into my arms, She was hysterical and we could barely make a word out of what happened.. It was a painful sight to see.." He explained, Shaking his head.
"Ah.. I see" Shinobu said. "I'm aware that you and your wife were also quite familiar with [F/N]?"
Mr. Kanroji smiled once again yet it held none of that bright attitude he had before, It was instead blocked by a dark cloud hanging over him like a noose.
"Right.. Mitsuri and [F/N] were basically inseparable back when they were young, So much so that she was over at our place most of the time. [F/N] didn't have the best home life you see, Not that she had much of one to begin with but.. She stayed over so often, Helped out with chores and played with the younger kids so much that at points I even considered her my own. And I'm pretty sure my wife did too" Mr. Kanroji tried to play off the sombre undertone in his voice with a light-hearted giggle, Yet it was futile under the heaviness of his bleak voice.
"It was horrible when the news came to light. We both were broken up by her.. Choice of actions. But Mitsuri.. She just.. She just broke down entirely." He said. Shinobu's eyes narrowed in confusion.
Choice of actions, What he meant alluded her.
Before she could question it however he stopped at a closed door, A rarity amongst the open ones spread about the walls of the house. He turned around and looked at them with a serious expression.
"Alright then, This is it." He started as he looked down at the both of them
"Please, When you go in try to be gentle when speaking with her. Don't try to overwhelm her or make any sudden noises.. She's not in the best mental state right now." He said quietly, Nigh-whisper as he waited for their answer.
"Understood." They both said in unison.
Mr. Kanroji nodded before turning back to the door.
Raising a single fist he lightly knocked at the paper shoji door. He smiled a best as he could as he spoke.
"Pumpkin? Are you awake..?" He called out.
…
There was no answer.
Iguro shifted around uncomfortably in his stance. Mitsuri Kanroji, The woman he loved and cared for.. She wasn't anything like this. He knew her well. He knew she loved to eat, He knew the way her lip quirked when she was confused and he certainly knew she was a light sleeper.
Anything could wake her. A sneeze or the drop of a pin, Anything at all. And it was certain that she would definetly wake at the light knock on her door. For her not to answer was concerning at best. Mr. Kanroji tried once more.
"Your friends from work are here to see you.. It's about a few weeks ago.." He called out once more though this time you could hear the audible shake in his speech.
…
"Come in.."
A weak voice called out from behind the door, It was so quiet that you could barely hear it. Both Shinobu and Iguro took a glance at each other before Mr. Kanroji grabbed onto the handle and slowly slid the door open.
It was dark. That was the first thought that entered their heads as they finally saw the inside to the room, Their sole source of vision being the new light from the other side flooding in only a crack to reveal only the bare shapes of furniture inside.
"I'll leave you two to it.." Mr. Kanroji whispered as he stood behind the open door, Nodding towards the room.
"Thank you.." Shinobu replied lowly as she took the first few steps in, Iguro following closely behind as she slowly entered the abyss that was Mitsuri's room.
From what they could make out, It looked more like a guest room than it did an actual room. The source of light was the window which was meant to be open, Instead it was locked and bolted shut tight leaving their environment hard to navigate.
CLANK!
Iguro's foot hit against something on the floor, Looking down he gagged slightly.
It was a small plate of food. It looked to be a normal meal consisting of pork cutlets and a side of omurice. Though on closer inspection Iguro spied the signs of mould starting to gather up on the meat from most likely a day or two, It hadn't been touched at all.
Iguro swallowed down his bubbling concerns and tried to ignore the smell as he stepped around it.
Both Shinobu and Iguro moved towards the centrepiece of the room of which being a large futon. Growing closer they could see the shapes of several duvets and pillows scattered amongst it, Reminiscent of a crows nest from the built up barrier around the lump poking out from under one of the duvets.
Shinobu kept up her smile, Though as she moved it started to look more strained and forced like one you'd see on an advertisement or billboard.
They finally reached the futon. Both Shinobu and Iguro shuffled around the side, Avoiding scattered clothes and stray furniture as they tried to get a better look.
They could barely see anything at all, Both from the lack of light and the duvet covering the girl below it. The only thing they could make out was only the upper half of her face sticking out from under it, Lime irises staring up at both of them.
Iguro bit his tongue. He backed up a bit as his hands reached out for the window-shutters. Eyes not taken off of Mitsuri's as he opened it up, Letting the late-morning light fill the dark void of the room.
Once the sunlight bounced off the walls of the room, Shinobu's smile quickly switched down to a frown while Iguro's shoulders tensed up.
The room was much more of a mess than first thought to be. The odd scattered clothing or two turned out to be more like piles.
Uneaten meals more rotten than before were also placed about, Some on furniture, Some on the floor.
But what really put off the two was the girl they called a friend, Lying curled up in a fetal position within the bedding.
Now that the light hit her face she flinched back from the sudden exposure, Eyes clenching closed to prevent the sudden light hitting her pupils flood in. Both of them noticed the swollen red under her eyes and her stuffy nose, To which she sniffled lightly every so often.
"Mitsuri-chan.." Shinobu mumbled, Her face a practiced sympathy as she took another step forward towards the futon. She stopped however when the sudden movement of Mitsuri cut her off, Mitsuri hauling herself out from under the covers and up into a sitting position
"I.. Sorry about that.. Comfortable position and all.." Mitsuri giggled lightly. Yet the sound never quite reached her bloodshot eyes.
Coupled with the greasy tangle that was her hair and the rather shaky smile she held it was obvious to see her true self in that moment. Iguro took his turn to take a step forward.
"Mitsuri-san.. I.." He felt the words caught on his tongue once he looked down upon the painful expression of the girl in front of him. Despite lying in bed it looked like she hadn't slept for days, Weeks even.
"Y-You're here about a few weeks ago right? Were you able to look at the ruins..? F-Find anything?" Mitsuri's voice shook more than her ear to ear smile, It wasn't liked Shinobu's perfectly perfected one. No, It was instead like an unknowingly widowed wife in the ER room lobby, Waiting in ignorant bliss for what she assumed was just a cut.
Both Iguro and Shinobu shared another glance at one and other. Both having a silent conversation between the two before Shinobu turned her head back around to face Mitsuri.
"Well.. We were able to get a report back from the ruins of the shrine.." Shinobu started. Reaching within her butterfly haori she pulled out a small piece of folded paper.
Starting to unfold it she peered down and started to read.
"Lets see here.. There were more injuries than casualties.. Seventy two severely injured and thirty four deaths. Majority of the casualties being Kakushi and Lower ranked slayers.." Shinobu read out, Eyes scanning down the list.
Mitsuri slowly nodded.
"T-That's unfortunate.. I hope their families are doing okay.." Mitsuri replied softly, The first glint of genuine concern showing from behind her eyes.
"But.. Erm.." She started again.
Shinobu nodded, Sad smile painted. Mitsuri didn't have to finish her words for Shinobu to know what she meant.
"Yes.. About [F/N] and Fujimori.." The mention of the names caught Mitsuri's attention immediately, Her head perking up to give her undying regard as the glint in her eyes burned back up.
Shinobu's nose twitched, Body stiffening ever so slightly.
"..We weren't able to recover any bodies.."
The light in Mitsuri's irises started to grow, Yet it wasn't from the hope or finality of the news. Instead it was the reflection off the water starting to grow at the rims of her eyes.
Shinobu took in a deep breath and continued.
"The only trace was of Fujimori.. Which was a pool of blood located near the back of the shrine." Shinobu shook her head, Trying not to focus on Mitsuri as she continued.
"Our leading theory is that.. Well.. Fujimori was most likely eaten by the demon in question.. There was nothing left of him.." Shinobu whispered, Yet within the confines of the room it sounded like an reverberated scream to Mitsuri's ears.
And that's what broke the dam.
Mitsuri let out a quiet cry, Her shaky smile still spread wide across her face as the tears in her eyes flooded over. Rolling down her cheeks and dripping onto her lap as choked noises escaped her hoarse throat.
"Mitsuri-san-!"
Iguro instantly went into action at the first sound of her cries, He quickly moved over to her side, Sitting down next to her and placing a hand on her shoulder. Which was quickly dismissed by Mitsuri.
"D-Don't touch me.. Just, Please.. N-Not now.." Mitsuri wept. Iguro quickly obliged, Moving away from her on the bed as she planted her face into her palms. Shinobu looked on as she put the paper away, Eyes filled with pity.
"I.. I-I can't believe this.. I.. Why didn't I recognise the signs.. I.. D-Doesn't she remember our promise..?" She whispered. Her nails digging into her skin as she looked through the cracks of her fingers, Eyes staring off into the distance of the floor.
"She..? What do you mean by signs..?" Iguro asked lightly.
Mitsuri withdrew her face from her hands to look up at Obanai. Her eyes meeting the mismatch of his with a disbelieving gaze, Like his tongue spoke of heresy to her very own religion.
Her pained voice spoke out once again.
"F-Fujimori.. [F/N].. They.. They're the same person.. And I.." Mitsuri whispered.
Iguro's eyes widened to that of circles, He shook his head adamantly and responded quick to her.
"No.. That's impossible. Fujimori and [F/N] look completely different, How could they be the same?" Iguro asked. His soft voice was still present yet there was an edge to it, A sharp confusion and bafflement at her words.
Mitsuri didn't listen to him, It was like he wasn't even there.
"I-I knew it was there.. I really did but I just.. I-I just ignored them.. If I had tried just a little harder.. I-If I just.." Mitsuri's voice seemed to break down into children's babble, Ranting off under her breath about this and that Iguro just couldn't understand.
He took a step closer.
"Mitsuri.. Please, Tell me what you mean.." Iguro asked softly. He lowered down onto a single knee to match her eye level, Pleading silently with her to tell him.
Mitsuri mumbled something so quiet, So incomprehensible that neither Iguro nor Shinobu could hear.
"What did you say..?"
Mitsuri's lip quivered. Bloodshot eyes staring back at him with that disfigured smile still on her face. Her voice only turning up a single notch as they were finally able to make out what she said.
"[F/N].. S-She killed herself."
Shinobu's frown sharpened into a tight-lipped grimace. Iguro's brows furrowed, His bandaged mask concealing his parted lips, Information still processing in his mind.
"I-If I just tried a little harder.. If I just made sure she was okay, Said hello or just.. Just ask her what was wrong.. S-She would've still been here with me.. I.. I did this.. I-I shouldn't of let go of her hand, I shouldn't of let go.."
Mitsuri's gaze was Far-off as she stared back into the vivid face of [F/N] appearing in her mind. The blank eyes so dull like she was nothing more than a caricature of her true self, The tried and true smile, The angle of her nose and the dimensions of her face.
All of it she tried so hard to cling onto. Grasping desperately at the memory, Begging with whatever god was up there. Pleading with whatever was listening that she wouldn't forget her face.
Yet as she continued to imagine her face, It faded further and further away from her grasp. Already blurring into a distant memory along with the warmth of her hand drifting away from her palms.
Iguro looked back at her. His heart felt like it was twisting and turning inside him, Hurting at the sight of the woman he held so close to it.
The new information felt so unsolved in his mind, He doubted it. Yet the raw grief that was coming from Mitsuri in front of him made it seem so real. Yet, He needed to question it once more.
Though before he could, He felt a small tap on his shoulder. Looking up only to come face to face with Shinobu.
"Iguro-san.. I think you should go wait outside." Shinobu said. Her voice suddenly serious, A side of which was barely shown through her friendly disguise.
He looked back at her and she stared back down at him with an unwavering gaze.
Iguro nodded slowly before getting up from his kneeling position. As he quietly moved out of the room he took only a single glance back at the two of them, All before opening the door and exiting the room.
As soon as the door slid shut Shinobu made her move, Head turning towards Mitsuri who looked up at her with the gaze of a wounded animal.
"Mitsuri-san.. These are massive claims, I don't mean to be insensitive but could you explain to me what happened? According to reports you were rather hysterical, Both from the handmaiden escorting you out and the various people you asked about [F/N]'s whereabouts." Shinobu asked. Voice levelled and calm, Her friendly self back up with a small smile to contrast her words.
Mitsuri didn't waste anytime for a shaky hand to extend out behind her towards her pillow, Reaching under it she carefully fished out a worn piece of paper. It was folded several times and looked rather worn from first sights.
Shinobu carefully plucked it out of her hands once it was offered. Carefully unfolding the flaps she held it in her hands and started to read.
Mitsuri sat there uncomfortably on the bed despite the mountain of pillows and blankets surrounding her. She had stopped crying at this point but by no means did that make her okay.
Her form was trembling as if she was in the middle of a hailing blizzard. She felt as if she wasn't in her body, Like she was just looking through the vision of someone else entirely while she was just a spectator within her own mind.
Shinobu's glassy eyes scanned over the paper, Carefully reading over every line with upmost delicacy as her gaze descended downwards.
She reached the bottom, The finality of the signature registering in her mind.
Shinobu was quiet.
But after a moment, She let out a single sigh.
"I see.. Well.. That's unfortunate.." Was all she said. She refolded up the paper in her hands and sitting it down on the windowsill.
Suddenly brought back into her own body, Mitsuri's head snapped over to look up at Shinobu. Her mouth going agape along with her eyes as she looked up in disbelief.
"..Is that all you have to say?" Mitsuri asked. [F/N]'s note, Her very last words written down onto a carefully made parchment. The story of her life, The words she could never express to anyone aloud yet scribed down with her entire heart and soul put onto this single letter.
And Shinobu just shook it off, Like it was absolutely nothing.
"Well.. It's an unfortunate turn of events, Taking one's life always is. Though I do have to admit I never saw it coming.." Shinobu said, That same tone of plain apathy dripped off every syllable and hit Mitsuri like acid as she stood up.
"H-How could you?" Mitsuri gawked. Her unstable footsteps numb from hours of not walking as she took a few steps toward Shinobu.
"[F/N] was your friend too.. You're the only other Hashira who ever knew about the truth.. She.. S-She trusted you.." Mitsuri exclaimed, Her previous cries starting to boil and hiss into a rising anger as her face twisted into an ugly expression.
Shinobu's shoulders raised as she looked back at her, The anger on Mitsuri being a completely foreign view. She wasn't even acting like herself anymore, [F/N] really meant that much to her..
"Yes.. She did." Shinobu agreed "I'm not trying to say-"
"You don't need to say anything, Y-You're making it clear enough!" Mitsuri butted in. Her arms raising to hug her self as she feverishly shook her head, Trying to keep herself calm.
"T-This isn't just my fault.. This is yours too. This is everyone's fault.." Mitsuri heaved. Her breathing picked up speed as her overgrown nails dug into her elbows, Backing up a bit as she did.
"Mitsuri-san.. You're not yourself right now, You're still in the grieving process. You don't mean what you're saying.." Shinobu said.
Mitsuri looked back up at her, Sheer rage burning inside her eyes like infernoes
"H-How many of the Hashira actually liked [F/N]..? How many of them insulted her every time she was late to a meeting? How many snide looks.. How many nasty comments, Shinobu? T-Tell me.. How many?" Mitsuri choked out. Shinobu could feel the strain as it did.
"I.. I don't kn-"
"How many?!" Mitsuri yelled, Her voice shaking the very walls of the room she was in. Quickly turning away from Shinobu, Her hands grasped both sides of her head catching strands of messy hair in-between them.
"[F/N] never harboured any true resentment towards anyone! S-She may not of been on time or handled her duties well but she cared for every last one of us, A-And the only thing she got in return was scorn.." Mitsuri at this point broke down into strangled sobs. She hugged herself tighter as Shinobu could only watch her.
"G-Get out.. Y-You did this, We both did.. But.. Y-You don't even care at all…" Mitsuri ordered. Turning her back on Shinobu as she tried to reach out a hand to her.
"Mitsu-"
"GET OUT!" Mitsuri screamed, Turning back to Shinobu with a high-pitched wail as it faded back into soft cries. Mitsuri fell back onto her bed, Pulling her knees up to her chest and pressing her face into them.
Shinobu didn't need to be told twice. She turned her back and walked away towards the door.
However she stopped once her hand gripped onto the handle.
"Mitsuri-san.. Just for the record, I may not show it but I do care for [F/N].. She really was my friend and trusted comrade. I don't mean to be indifferent.. I am not at all.. I.. I really will miss her a lot. Me and the rest of the Hashira may not have favoured her at points, But she was still apart of our ranks and was our comrade.. We.. We all grieve in our own ways.. And I promise you.. One day, We will get vengeance on the demon who did this.. We'll avenge her, I promise you."
That was all Shinobu said. Mitsuri lifted her head from her shins but she couldn't see Shinobu's expression. Her back to hers, Mitsuri could only see her high shoulders shake and the grip on the sliding door tighten.
But it faded almost immediately. Shinobu slid the door open and stepped out.
Closing it over and walking away.
☆♡☆
Heavy yet light footsteps hit the rickety wood in quick succession, Each step taking no time to waste as [F/N] kept running faster and faster along the spiderweb docks.
[F/N] had to plan her movements in advance, The dock was hard to navigate with branches ending at random and others looping straight back around in the opposite direction. If she wasn't careful she could be thrown overboard at any moment, And she didn't want to find out whether the bioluminescent water was safe or not.
It felt like she had been running for hours, The infinite sky showing no sign of an end or exit in sight. But [F/N] knew it had to of only been half an hour or so, Otherwise she would of already collapsed.
Kokushibo was nowhere to be seen. Once [F/N] had taken off running she thought he would be dead on her tail, Chasing her down for even daring to leave whatever he had planned for her.
"My name is Kokushibo.. I hold the highest rank within the twelve moons, Sitting at upperrank one.. Though.. You should be recognising me as Michikatsu Tsugikuni.. Your older brother.."
Was he delusional? Out of his mind? Or could he be manipulating her with some so-crazy-it-works method. Michikatsu Tsugikuni, The name meant absolutely nothing at all. Her older brother he called himself, There was simply no way in hell that could of been true.
He was a centuries old demon, Whatever parents gave birth to him would of died a good long while ago. It was impossible that they could've been related but..
"Impossible, Yes.. I thought the same thing once I saw you again.. You died near enough five hundred years ago yet there you were.. Bleeding out within the rubble of your desecrated shrine.."
Maybe, Just maybe she shared some resemblance to the sister he had as a human. And maybe she shared the same first name as she did. And when he saw said resemblance, Somehow in his mind he had decided that they were the same person and then decided to spare and kidnap her away to this cold hell.
Even then that was baffling on its own.
[F/N] had saw from first hand experience how a demon would rip apart its own siblings, Parents or children just for another meal. Demon's had no sentimental attachment to much of anything, Especially not people.
So why? Why would he do this, Kidnap her away and try to feign an act of familiarity with her? Demons don't do that, They don't think that way. [F/N] swallowed back a lump in her throat.
How much did his sister mean to him? Was she really that important that he would still hold affection towards her?
But either way he wasn't anywhere at all.
No noises, Glimpses or auras. Nothing.
She had no time to dwell on it, She chided herself for getting distracted over a demon. Run now think later. The prospect of escaping whatever pocket dimension she had been siphoned to was vivid in her mind, A yearning feeling brought back to the primal desire for survival as she kept going and going.
Her abdomen hurt too, Every time she moved it felt like a needle jabbing into her side. She tried her best to ignore the pain however, She couldn't let it stop her now, Not since she got this far.
But then it hit her.
Why was she trying so hard to escape?
Her sprint faltered only a little as the thought crossed through her mind. Her lip upturned. Why was she trying so hard?
[F/N] wanted to die. She wanted to find an end for months, To get it over and done with and get out of everyone's way. To stop being such a stain on the Hashira and a burden on the corps. She had no use, No worth or redeemable qualities.
She may of killed a thousand of their kind, She may of been given the title of being the strongest Hashira but that name weighed down on her shoulders like steel blocks.
It wasn't a title, It was an expectation.
And [F/N] couldn't live up to it, She didn't even want to live at all. So why was she running? Why didn't she throw herself into the docks or go back to slaughterhouse behind her? Why was her body so insistent on continuing?
Because.. Because.. She wanted to die, Not be tortured. That's the reason. If she was here then it was obvious she was wanted alive, If she did try to throw herself off then whose to say Kokushibo wouldn't be watching her right now and prevent her from doing so?
If she was here he might be wanting information, The location of the Ubuyashiki estate. This entire 'dead little sister' thing was just a manipulation tactic to get it out of her! And once he realised she wasn't falling for it he'd resort to more violent methods.
Yes, That's the reason.
Turning around another dock and searching for a path she stared out into the open distance of a void. Her heart burned, There had to be an escape. She was so tired, She felt like she was going to collapse any second.
And that's when she saw it.
In the distance, Staring off into the vastness of the void she could make out a vague shape settled amongst the darkness.
Her eyes sparked up, Lit aflame as she spied her saving grace, The light at the end of the tunnel. Something had finally changed after running for so long.
Her pace picked up along with her breathing, Her breaths turning into light wheezes under her normal rhythm as she took far strides.
Sweat beads dripped down from her brow and stained her jinbei, Everything burned. Muscles ached but she kept moving forwards, Kept going faster and faster towards the building in the distance, Getting closer and closer.
Keep going, Almost there.. I can do this- I can escap-!
[F/N] stopped in her tracks.
Her sprint jittered down until she was completely still, Fixed on place to the dock as she stared up towards the building, One now looming over her like a guillotine.
It.. It was her shrine.
Towering over her was the behind of the shrine, The other side from which she came from. The walls, tiles, Wooden frames and the closed shut windows. Her eyes scanned over it in disbelief, The realisation crashing into her.
She had done a full circle, She had just came back from the way she came.
T-This can't be true.. How could this be-!
[F/N] felt her heart fall into her stomach along with her knee's collapsing to the ground, Finally giving out from exhaustion as her eyes were still locked on the shrine.
Her knees hit the wooden docks, Splinters digging into her bare shins as she felt all hope leave her body. She had been running for so long, The docks didn't loop or go in a circle, If it did she would of known. But how was she back here? How?
Heart drumming faster in her chest her head felt light and airy as if she was thousands of feet in the air. Nausea creeping up her throat and unsettling her stomach even more than it already was. As she felt herself fade, She had only one thought.
How.. How is this fair?
☆♡☆
Kokushibo walked slowly down the wooden step-way of the shrine it surrounded.
Taking a few careful steps down the stairway he felt the weight of it depress under him, Reaching the bottom he peered over from the corner he stood next to.
He watched the body of his younger sister collapse onto the dock, Her chest raising and lowering rapidly as if she was starved of air. Her hair was a mess along with her clothing and general appearance.
It was nothing he didn't expect however. He knew she would tire herself out eventually, Run until she couldn't and fall down onto the ground. He knew it would happen, And he couldn't help but feel a sense of catharsis out of it.
He stalked up towards her, All until he was staring down at her defeated form in front of him. Kneeling down with her neck exposed, Easily cut and easy to wring at any given moment.
In any other scenario this would of been a sort of guilty pleasure, The way life was held within his hands felt so electrifying. He never took time on making people grovel before him, He never saw the need to.
He was after strength, To stay eternally strong forever. Not to make insignificant and weak human beings bow down to him.
But he couldn't deny the way he dictated human life with the edge of his blade felt great. And it tasted even better once he bit into their throats, Tearing out their jugular giving them no time to scream as the sweet nectar of their blood hit his tongue.
It was empowering. But, It was different in this scenario.
He didn't feel any sense of power over the girl in front of him, Not the way he usually would anyways. As he looked over her broken form the only thing that he felt was.. Pity.
"Are you done now..? Have you tired yourself out..?" Kokushibo asked in that usual monotone voice. He sounded as if he didn't care, As if his sister lying stray on the dock meant absolutely nothing to him. But he knew that wasn't the case.
[F/N] didn't answer, It seemed as if she had fainted.
Again, It was predictable. She had just woken up after sustaining injury and had used all her energy to try and run away, Only to collapse right back at the place she had tried to escape from.
Kokushibo gritted his teeth slightly. This wasn't how he thought this was going to go.
He assumed that she remembered him. Throughout the time he had taken her, Cared for her wound and nursed her back to health he had heard murmurs from within her sleep. Places, Memories and names only she should of known was what she mumbled in her unconscious state.
He assumed that as soon as she had awoken she would remember him, Feel just as elated as he was at their reunion.
But now he knew that wasn't the case, And if he was being honest? It made him angry.
Kokushibo kneeled down. Reaching his arms out he scooped up her limp body into his arms to settle her within them.
He got up and examined her face, Her eyes and her hair. Every angle and dimension of her face he surveyed left and right. This was her, Everything just lined up too perfectly not to be.
Same name, Same face and Haori. Not to mention that she spoke his name once.
Kokushibo held onto her tighter as he started to walk away with her in his arms. He moved up the stairway careful not to drop her. He moved quickly yet steadily towards the entrance of the shrine.
Entering the building and shutting the door behind him with his foot and made his way up to the second floor where her bedroom was located.
Once he got there he slid open the shoji door, Letting the aquamarine flood the shadows of her room as he walked towards her futon.
Setting her down onto the mattress and tucking her in the duvet with the utmost care, He looked at her once more.
Kokushibo was angry. He truly was livid. The mere fact that she didn't even remember him angered him, Even more so once she called him a monster. He loathed the way he felt his heart wretch in that moment.
Yet he couldn't bring himself to hate her. A part of him wanted to dispose of her, To get rid of her entirely. She was a weakness, Something Kokushibo just could not afford.
But the much larger, Louder part of him detested this with all he had. As the thought of killing her entered his mind he felt disgusted, Horrified at the mere imagining of her being harmed.
She was the only person who ever loved him more than Yorichii. The one person who saw him for himself instead of his brother, She admired him. She loved him. How could he bring himself to hurt her? Kokushibo took in a deep breath, The anger kept at bay as he smiled lightly at her unconscious state.
Even if she didn't remember him, That doesn't mean she won't in due time. The pieces of the puzzle were already there, They were just waiting to be solved is all. Even if she had some 'new life' or whatever may have happened to her. Maybe.. No.. It didn't matter, She was here. That's what mattered.
He breathed out once more. 'Her new life', It felt so wrong as he thought about it. Kokushibo found her as a Hashira of all things, One he had struck down as a man like a god to a heretic.
Gods, He had questions. He had so many questions.
How was she here back with him? How did she become an entirely different person while fighting him? Where did she learn or how would he get her to remember him? Hundreds of questions rushed through his head. Possibilities and chances.
He tucked a small strand of hair behind her ear. He had many questions, And he'll get answers eventually when she was awake.
His little sister was finally brought back to him. The one who died in his arms and the one he would never let go of again. She'll learn to accept her fate here, Understand she has nowhere to run. She'll understand her place was here with him, Her big brother.
He'd crush whatever rebellious phase she was going through, Whatever disobedient little chapter of life she was going through right now. Insulting him, Running away..
He breathed out, Trying to keep away the bloodlust at the thought of her escaping.
She was safe now, And that's all that matters.

Yandere! Romantic! KNY Hashira Scenarios: Iguro Obanai Vs Kanroji Mitsuri
I had this one buried away for ages. This is the last post based around Yandere Romantic Hashira! Absolutely 100% this time!
At first. Iguro Obanai and Kanroji Mitsuri were deeply in love with each other… but that changed for good after the new Hashira(aka You) came into the mix. Their passion for one another disappeared upon meeting you and it replaced those feelings of love for feelings of disdain and rivalry
Of course, you knew Mitsuri first as she always befriends new Slayers unconditionally, in which definitely included you since you’re her fellow. She grew attached to you, thanks to your matching personality(you’re calmer and more gentle whilst Mitsuri is hyper and springy) and forgot all about her love for Obanai in favour of growing love for you. She didn’t develop Yandere tendencies until after you met Obanai
Obanai fell for you the moment Mitsuri introduced you to him when she invited the two of you over for tea. He adored how sweet and kind you were that it was difficult to stay composed around you. His newfound love for you crushed the one he had for Mitsuri and he felt so much warmer in his attraction to you than with Mitsuri. Just like Mitsuri, Obanai wasn’t a Yandere until after he picked up on Mitsuri’s affections for you
You showing up and stealing the two Hashiras’ hearts unintentionally was the beginning of their toxic era as the two realised they were no longer potential romantic partners and dear friends but love rivals
And they’re love rivals who will do whatever is needed to win you over, and that standard didn’t stop at ruining their insanely close connection with each other
They both grew obsessed over you in the little time you knew them, and would cram themselves into your schedule to spend as much time with you as possible. They’re both insecure about themselves and angrily frightened by each other’s advances on you. Their Yandere qualities grew stronger, the more their love rival win smiles from you. It is a big, bloody battle of rivalry
Mitsuri is a chronic lier and Obanai is a chronic manipulator. They both gaslight you into spending more time with them and threaten harm on each other and/or others. Though, they are so strung-up in their fantasies over you, they don’t realise how delusional they really are
“Iguro-san. Can you please leave us alone? Dokusha is clearly enjoying me massaging her sore shoulder, can’t you see that?”
“As pleased as I am to see you happy, Kanroji. It’s time for Dokusha’s daily nap and she always naps with me so leave her be”
Talking about those daily naps, Obanai always drags you up the tallest trees to avoid Mitsuri and it angers her to all ends. She usually naps under the same tree but sometimes, she throws a massive fit
Mitsuri doesn’t really like to harm innocents, she prefers berating/intimidation/blackmail but Obanai will gladly beat, mutilate and/or kill innocents. Mitsuri has limits, Obanai doesn’t
Mitsuri acts extremely bratty towards Obanai to make him snap then play victim when you interfere after she made him lash out at her
Their affections are suffocating and you’ll never be able to escape them once they’re dedicated to you as a whole. They both send you the most complimentary lovey-dovey letters, buy and give you the most expensive gifts, and when you’re with them in person, they always fight passive-aggressively with each other over everything surrounding you;
“Trying to embrace Dokusha, Kanroji? We both know you’re not allowed to even touch her, you’ll hurt her”
“And you can touch her, Iguro-san? Hurt her. Ha, please! I can’t get over how funny you think you are”
They fight over you in front of all the fellow Hashira more than they should and it concerns every Hashira nearby watching as their heated arguments extend into life-threats and sword raising. Himejima has to seperate them to ensure that don’t actually swing on each other
The only time these two do actually work together and/or agree is when somebody else is getting too close to you for their liking. So, now, you have two overprotective obsessive bodyguards! One is passive-aggressively demanding the person leaves and the other is spitting out death threats to that person with his sword flaring
Obanai and Mitsuri always think that they are still on healthy terms with each other but in reality…
Their bond is so f**ked that there is no way for them to go back to when they were nearly inseparable… well, unless you died but even in such a situation, they’d continue to fight and blame each other for your death;
“If YOU didn’t stalk and creep her out so much, she wouldn’t have done that to herself! My baby took off because of YOU! You don’t deserve to even dirty-up the ground my Dokusha walked on after making her leave this planet!”
“I’M the reason MY Dokusha abanonded me?! Why don’t you dice your f**king big jaw off, you b**ch! YOU kept harassing and clinging onto her! YOU'RE the reason MY Dokusha took her own life! I swear, on Dokusha’s honour and name, I’m going to kill you!”
Thankfully for them, they are constantly watching you as one will always be clinging onto you if the other isn’t around. Mitsuri mainly stalks you when you’re in public and Obanai mainly stalks you when you’re at home.
Mitsuri is a attention-demanding brat and Obanai is scarily-invasively attached. They play tug of war with you 24/7 and one day, you may tear into two with how tight they hold on
It’s only up to you on which Yandere you pick in the end but serious warning, the one left behind will spend the rest of his/her life hunting you down so he/she can kill the one you chose.
“Dokusha-san. Do you like the Onigiri? I made sure they were perfect, though, they’re bland in comparison to you. Tell me, will you stay past training? I have a lot more planned for after this. Wouldn’t you like to spend time with me, where it’s quiet, you get whatever you want on the spot and you’re safe, away from her”
“Dokusha-chan! Over here! Come to my Estate tonight! I have the perfect sleepover just waiting for us! We’ll pillow fight, play board games, try out cute hairstyles, dress up my cats! That sounds amazing, right? Hanging out with me is better then hanging out with him, that’s for sure!”

Mitsuri and Obanai yandere headcanons
PLS THEY ARE SO HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YESS IKR
FIRST UP
Mitsuri Yandere headcanons
Doesn't like to see people get closer to you! BAM they're dead the next day!
If she has the courage to be friends with you; She will cling to you a lot watching people everywhere.
Watched you from afar. You don't know that Mitsuri is planning your future with her
Well the plan goes faster when she finds out you love her! She will feel really happy. Blushing a lot!
When she kidnapped you she was weirdly very nice to you! Food, hugs, and kisses!
She will not isolate you in her room. You can play games and make food.
KINDA forces things onto you. Like cuddling with her on your first day being here.
With all you can do here's what you can't; Go outside, call anyone, and DON'T go in the basement. Very easy rules! Right?...
If you escape; She will let your first one slide. But the second one she will guilt-trip you to make you feel bad for her and not to escape again. Like "Y/n! I'm trying my best and you escape me Why?" Or "I thought you loved me?"
But If you don't escape and be loyal to her she will trust you more letting you go outside with her or yourself!
She loves you too much to harm/hurt you!
Finally, names such as; love dear/dearly, sweetheart, and baby.
NOW
Obanai yandere headcanons
Spys on you like a pro like really...He's just too good at it.
I bet he knows it wrong but cares about you and your safety
OKAY. Imagine this; You and Obanai have set to be partners for a project Obanai is really excited to spend time with you. After finishing your project you get hit with a hammer or whatever. SO AY.
Obanai really likes you and that says a lot you know woman. No one is stopping him from kidnapping you NO ONE.
You will have no relationship with other people. Obanai has already claimed you as his.
When you are kidnapped he will erm...Kinda? But not rarely in fact he doesn't want to hurt you at all reminds him of his past (if I'm saying it right) I change my mind he isn't going to harm you.
If you escape well you almost can't but I'm not sure...The snake (not down there) scares the shit out of you all the time
But if you stay loyal he will get all clingy to not wanting to lose you and be lovely to you giving you your fav foods, clothes, etc!
Believes in trust. You can go on night walks with him or just sit outside his house he loves it and he listens to you when you talk.
Names; Dear, def love. or just any silly name that he comes to. But he calls you a snake when you have silly arguments.
side-eyes anyone who looks at you, bad, good, lovely. Talks random shit to you in your ear.
I have many ideas for Obanai...I MEAN I WAS GOING SOME WHERE..
PLUS I KEEP FORGETING I HAVE MY COMMENT OFF I CAN'T FIX IT BEACAUSE I MAKE ALL OF MY FICS ON MY LAPTOP HELPPPPPPPP,

Can I request Hashira women x Male reader where the reader likes to play video games and ignores them
Obsessive Gamer Reader | Yandere Demon Slayer
You’re a real gamer! Eyes and mind locked into your game it’s easy to ignore the nagging of your partner. Whether you’re genuinely annoyed with them or you don’t do it purposely, you’re depriving them of the most important thing. You. Its definitely going to cause them to retaliate:
Mitsuri Kanroji
“Honey I’m ready to go out! What about you?”
Being met with silence doesn’t feel right to her
It makes her nervous
But she’ll try again
“Uhm babe? Babe? Honey?”
At this point she’s near tears hearing you call out to your teammates and still ignore her
She can’t blame you
No never!
It’s obviously that horrid game
With of ease she’ll skillfully smash your monitor or even slice it
“No worries, (Y/n) I’ll save you from it’s evil!”
Then she’s scooping you up and depending on your reaction she’s going with her original plan
If the spell is not broken and you angrily lash out at her
She’s grabbing you and putting you in timeout
Most like ropes while she stages an in-home dinner date
“Open wide my love! We’ll have to get that evil spell out of you!”
Shinobu Kocho
“(Y/n) you left your unfinished laundry in the hallway. We’ve spoken about it and I’m sure you don’t want my name embroidered in all your clothes.”
“Uh I’ll pick it up later.”
You speaking buys you time
But not for long
She’s closer this time standing above you with her usual blank smile on her face
If you ignore her again you’ll regret it
“(Y/n). Get off the game.”
You truly will regret it but not now
She’ll let you keep playing while she prepares to punish you
Happily angrily branding a syringe probably a paralytic drug
You’ll look up notice her sheer blood lust before she stabs it into your veins
Watching as you curl in on yourself by a slight stinging pain
But no worries she’ll prop you up so that you can watch as she easily finds the IP addresses of your teammates
Turning on the mic as she says them
Waiting until they all report and unfriend you
Deleting your save files and your gaming account
Before destroying your gaming console all in front of you
“I thought I taught you not to ignore me. It will never end well for you.”

I have a request to make. Romantic yandere lamia Mitsuri with a darling reader who bumped into her while going hiking.
hello! Sorry for taking so long, but here it is!
Yandere! Lamai! Mitsuri Kanjori x Darling! Reader (Romantic)
Part 1 - Part 2
Warning: mention of Blood, death, slight stalking, and swearing (plus no use of y/n)
It was a beautiful day out; not to warm and not to cold, but the sun shined bright in the sky with out a cloud in site- it was a day that didn't need to be wasted on the couch watching that one series for the 20th time in a row.
So you decided to go on a hike, not to long of one; just into the near by forest on the edge of town that no one dared to enter; what could go wrong?
You eagerly left your place, making sure you packed water, snacks, sun screen, your phone and its portable charger, and wearing good clothing to be active in with out getting to nasty on sweat.
You quickly left, turning off all the lights and double checking a good 40 times of all your doors and kitchen elements before leaving down the street to the forest.
After a good 15 minute warm up walk to the forest, you entered on a path to the side through the brush; you’ll have to check for tics after the hike.
The escape from people was nice so far, aside from the bugs, you felt at peace on the quiet paths of the forest; the site of lush green and sparks of pink, purple and yellow bringing joy on this adventure.
But as you go one, you start to notice something that seem off; such as brush seemingly knocked over by a large creature, a lack of animals in the specific area and even bits of blood left on leaves.
What’s even worst is that you felt like you were being hunted, followed.
Watched from afar.
But you stupidly continued on.
After a while, the rustling of trees and brush started to get louder as you stopped in you spot and looked around; and then, your eyes caught something pink in the trees.
But before you could even processes what it was, it jumped down on you and coiled you up.
And in the struggle for air, you saw that it was a she, and she was a pink Lamia; stories had been told about them in this forest, but you never believed it.
She stared furious at you, before her face quickly switched to one of panic before dropping you
“Oh my gosh, Im so sorry” she said in a panicked yet sweet tone “I thought… I thought you came to hunt… no, you’re a hiker” she laughed at her stupidity as she fixes your hair.
You, still out a breath and confused, stare at her in a bit of fear.
“Im so sorry… im Mitsuri” she put out her scaly hand to you as she moves a bit closer, her eyes bright with excitement.
You stay unresponsive as you look her up and down, utterly confused
After a few minutes of her staring at you, you get up and quickly walk back in the direction of the exit to the forest.
Before you can even get far, Mitsuri moves in front of you with a panicked expression
“Wait! You cant leave!” She coiled her tail around the area you stood, making it difficult for you to leave her.
“Please, I gotta get home” you tried to move around her but she just followed.
“No, you dont have to go home: you can stay with me for a bit” she kept moving forward to you, driving you into her tail to trip you.
As you fell, her tail coiled around you again, but lightly this time before she quickly moved the both of you deeper into the forest.
“You and I are going to be perfect together” she said in a delusional sense.
THANKS, BYE
