Guess whoooooooo forgot to post her art for months and months again it’s me! Here's the second of my floriograph D&D party portraits; Yancy the smoke genasi shadow magic sorcerer belongs to @coffeecakecafe, and our DM is @bacoj8

American cowslip (Dodecatheon): treasure finding

Texas ebony (Ebenopsis ebano): shadow, blackness

 Ash-leaved trumpet flower (Campsis radicans): separation. Campsis radicans has an extreme flammability rating, so wise landscapers are careful not to plant it too close to houses. All his life, Yancy has moved from home to home--he has never had a place to belong that has not been destroyed.

 Cactus (Cactacae/Opuntia): Love, endurance, warmth, I burn, physical love, you left me

 Garden anemone (Anemone): love, being forsaken, estrangement, withered hopes

 Hellebore (Hellborus): calumny, scandal

Bindweed (convulvulus): Bonds, spontaneity, uncertainty

 Lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis): trustworthiness, return to happiness, unconscious sweetness

 Tea plant (Camellia sinensis): Young sons and daughters

The Planar Pringles campaign is officially a year old, and its been an incredible journey. Its been an utter joy and privilege to get to build a story and game with such beautifully talented human beings. These characters are all so rich, so multifaceted, and getting to interact with them in such a beautiful narrative space is just a gift.

Working on a much larger piece, but decided to isolate a few elements that I’ve really enjoyed!

Every dnd party should be comprised of homies with darker, haunted sides to them — maybe driven by a fear of what they are or maybe what they fear they might become. Maybe even a fear of the twisted version of themselves they've left behind. Whose to say :3c

When one of your party members is a fox-god turned mortal, some quotes just hit different

An old comic I made at the end of last year in anticipation for our beloved found family corn field simulator D&D campaign, affectionately referred to as Planar Pringles. Ties and bonds are a colossal theme in this one, and I’m very unwell about it in the best way

Yancy got himself cursed and didn’t tell anyone until he lifted the curse by… dying… so Phaela gave him a real good look-over afterward to make sure he was properly okay

Izen’s “resting height” is a little over 7” — but can fluctuate wildly if he wants to pull his little spider leggies in and get REAL tall real fast

Izen (being 50% Drow) has a natural aversion to traveling during the day — it’s too bright, too open, too hot. His agoraphobia still acts up at night, but the wide open spaces feel less daunting when Phaela is there to point out her favorite constellations <3

I’m not actually sure how I managed to forget to post gun Yancy here but I *did* so here he is Now, almost a year later. if it helps his party had to wait for a year of sessions to find out that he’d had a revolver all along
