Yan!First Headcannons

He has fond memories of his guide. How they skillfully protected him with their insight to ensure his success. He clutched those days of tranquillity close to his heart -or what he believes to be left of it- when he was locked up. When you were ripped away from him by a jealous god’s hand. He tries to focus on the softness of your voice and not the shrill of your screams when you were being made to watch his torment. He was free now. But from what he knows, you aren’t. And on your name he is going to maim the soul that did that to you. Even if it’s the goddess that allowed you to meet in the first place.

That said, he didn’t originally know you were his guide. He was shaken from being thrown into a portal and he was so hurt and you were so kind… It was natural for him to latch to the first bit of care given to him since your first absence.

It didn’t take him remembering -or rather realising- you were his guide until he started his spiral. No. He’s been teetering on the edge for years, and if falling into madness ment falling into your arms, then so be it. With that, he doubles down when he remembers you. Brought together by the gods and fate, how could he not keep you to himself after so long of being on his own?

He thrives on whatever it is you want. He’ll talk or listen to you for days, savouring the calmness in your voice. He’d pull you close in front of everyone and remember every freckle on your skin, every scar that lined it, every hair on your head. He’d write you letters of sonnets and prose, watching you read it with concentration, as if to see that you like it. He’d buy you anything, do anything, say anything, so long as it had your approval.

I see him as either very sneaky and courting you so eloquently that his possessiveness and protectiveness is part of the package. Him showing off that you chose him, that he’s good enough. Him showing off that no matter how much his… predecessors think they have you, you’ve always been his from the beginning. This is with an earlier intro to the chain, him trying to fend off competition as more members begin to fall. A strategy, if you will.

Or he’s on you the second he has consent, not caring for standards so long as you are his and he is yours. A scramble for your attention against your many suitors followers. I see this as First with a later intro where everyone’s already not right in the head. He’s bartering for and peice if you at this point. Any attention you give him will be well spent and obsessed over.

100% kidnapping you the second the chance presents itself. You’ll be married properly, he’ll treat you impeccably well, just be sure to play along.

Yandere!Incubus x Reader

“Hey, Doll. Why don’t you join me for a bath?” Tynan asks, an easy smirk on his face. He likes watching your reactions, whether you’re teasing him or getting flustered. It’s cute, honestly.

Oh man, Tynan thinks. He’s really down bad. He didn’t really think he’d (1) want you beyond a physical relationship and (2) want to capture you so you’ll be wholly his, forced to rely on him and only him. These thoughts used to baffle him (and maybe they do still baffle him somewhat), but he honestly doesn’t care too much anymore. Still…

Tynan isn’t sure when his breaking point was.

Was it when he was first lured in by your dreams? When he first got a taste of you? When he first decided to stay for a little longer than he usually would?

You appealed to Tynan’s tastes quite a bit, more than any other human had, but that wasn’t his breaking point, was it? Your guardian angel and his obsession with you was intriguing, but that certainly wasn’t Tynan’s breaking point, either. Sure, your guardian angel gave Tynan some source of amusement and it was a surprise that you could even see your own guardian angel, but that wasn’t enough to make Tynan spiral.

His competitiveness with your guardian angel did make Tynan more touchy and affectionate (and wow, did he like touching you), but that wasn’t his breaking point, either.

Tynan seriously can’t wrap his head around it. Sex is casual. Relationships are casual. But here you are, making him want to get consumed by you. Here you are, making him jealous of all things. 

Tynan doesn’t like emotions or attachments – it’s pointless, really – but he wants to overload you with his feelings for you, attaching you to his side forever. He wants to take you back with him to his home so he can lock you up and hide you away from the world forever. If you’re there, he doesn’t need anyone else. He’ll never need anyone else ever again.

“Tynan?” you call, snapping him out of his thoughts. “Do you want me to wash your hair?” 

The question makes him smile. You’re really too cute. It’s to the point that you’re the only thing that matters to him.Yeah, that’s right – it doesn’t matter what his breaking point was. All that matters is that you’ve made him break his long streak of detachment and he’s not planning on ever letting go.

Ace Trappola

When you first meet him, it's mostly just playful teasing, harmless pranks and subtle flirting but as time passes, it becomes much much worse.

From an outsider's perspective, they would probably think you and Ace are the cutest couple but behind closed doors, it's a whole different narrative.

He's possessive, always demanding to know where you were going, claiming it's just to 'protect you'. At some point, it gets so intense that he ends up making curfews for you and installing a tracker on your phone.

And when you try to leave, he finds a way to guilt trip you by saying things like "I thought we were more than that. You're really gonna leave me? Even after everything?"

Deuce Spade

He's overprotective. He has a really short temper and is a former delinquent. You can't blame him if he accidently sends someone to the hospital because they made you trip on accident, can you?

He’s convinced his violent outbursts are justified. After all, he’s only doing it for you. “They disrespected you! What was I supposed to do? Let them get away with it?”

When you attempt to scold him for injuring someone, he pleads with you for you to understand... after all, he did this for you.

“You still love me, right? I did this for you… you understand that, don’t you?” "No Deuce! You're crazy! Stop it!"

The whole situation is a crazed mess. He felt as your relationship crumbled into pieces and he tries to piece it back together like a huge puzzle.

Deuce would never hurt you directly though, instead he would isolate you, trap you in a secluded area, far away from everyone else. He does this all because he believes that if you interact with anyone else other than him, your mind will be 'corrupted'.

Jack Howl

He's not a guilt-tripper or a manipulator like the others, but he is for sure just as overprotective.

He'd follow you everywhere, he's convinced that you need his protection 24/7. He believes that even if for a second that he looks away, you'll get hurt... and it'll be all his fault.

He's not as crazy possessive as the others, but he does things that make you think he is. He'd cut people out of your life if he believes that they're a bad influence. It gets to the point that he cuts everyone out of your life, except for him.

Jack believes he knows what’s best for you and if you fight back? He’ll look at you with those stoic, disappointed eyes, muttering: “You’re being stubborn again. Don’t you trust me?”

Finally, when you lose everything, you could only cling onto Jack. Binding you with him forever.

Epel Felmier

Epel’s obsession stems from his frustration with his history of being underestimated. Around you, he wants to be seen as strong and capable, but it quickly becomes suffocating. He’ll lash out at anyone who dares undermine his masculinity or threaten his place at your side.

He clings to you as proof of his strength. If you ever reject him, it shatters his pride. That’s when Epel becomes truly dangerous—his temper is explosive, and his upbringing makes him surprisingly ruthless when he wants to be.

He’d sabotage friendships and relationships behind the scenes, spreading rumors with a sweet smile. “I’d hate for people to misunderstand you. It’s better if you stay with me—you can trust me.” he'd mutter to you.

Epel would be the type to snap if you tried to leave. His desperation would finally boil over, his hands trembling as he blocks the door. “You can’t leave. You’re mine, and I’ll fight anyone who tries to take you away.”

Sebek Zigvolt

Sebek’s obssessed. It's loud, unwavering, and borderline fanatical. He worships you. He adores you. He'll never let you out of his sight.

He sees himself as your protector, often to an extreme. He’ll argue, yell, and shame you for spending time with 'unworthy' people. “They’re way under you! Why waste your time on them when you have me?”

Sebek’s outbursts make it impossible for anyone to approach you. While he never has the intent to hurt you, the sheer intensity of his actions becomes overwhelming.

If you tried to distance yourself, he’d be furious, raging mad but underneath it all is desperation. He would spew out random nonsense in an attempt to earn you back. “Don’t you understand? No one can love and protect you like I can! I was made for this—I was made for you!”

Ortho Shroud (platonic)

Ortho's an overprotective yandere (platonic). He'd monitor your whole life, from where your going to who your spending time with. He knows it all, no details spared.

If you ever mention that you were going out, he'd insist on coming with you. Telling you that it's much safer for you to let him come with you.

He's emotionally dependent on you. Just like how attached he is to his brother, he'd easily become as attached with you. He'd feel like he needs you in his life, and his happiness would become increasingly tied to your attention and affection.

He's not jealous or anything but when he realizes that you're spending less time with him, he'll get more clingy or subtly try to make you feel guilty for not spending enough time with him. "But… I thought we could hang out. Don’t you want to be with me?"

In the worst-case scenario, if you ever try to pull away or create distance, Ortho could start to tweak. He’d be unable to understand why you wouldn’t want to spend every moment with him, and he might say something like, “But I’m your friend… I thought you’d never leave me. You’re my only friend. Please don’t abandon me.” His voice would be soft, and though his words would seem sweet, the emotional pressure behind them would be overwhelming.

Have you seen that one episode where Stanley drugs the viewer? He is not above drugging someone into unconciousness.

But he won't directly tell you he did that, of course not. You probably just fell asleep or something. You're tired from all the work.

He'll do whatever it takes to keep you in the Mystery Shack. The good news is that he's not that insane to lock you up. He just loooves quality time.

Although he'll hire people (for cheap) to keep an eye on you. For your safety! Even sometimes tell Dipper and Mabel to do that, and they think he's simply being cute.

A professional scam artist who's so skilled in deceiving people. You're not an exception. In fact, he uses it to his advantage. He has broken the law many times and will especially continue to do it for you.

But, you're not stupid. You question him sometimes to which he brushes you off.

Other than that, though, he's definitely touch-starved. He hides the fact so well that you don't even notice it... probably. His desparation might actually slip off his mask.

Speaking of... he turns all soft and mushy when you put your hands on him.

Please take care of him. He'll take care of you.

That is what angels are. That is what Finley should be – what he is.

So, it’s really no surprise that he’s chosen as a guardian angel – your guardian angel. After all, only those who are the most pristine, the most perfect, the most pure can be a guardian angel. Anything less and corruption will be too easy. But Finley will be fine – he’s the pinnacle of what an angel should be, after all.

And now, he’s so excited to watch over you, to ensure that your life goes a little smoother than it has been.

As he watches over you, making sure you’re safe, he can’t help the affection that blooms inside of him. You’re someone he’s taking care of, which means that you’re his. You’re safe right now because he’s helping you. An umbrella on a rainy day, a pencil on exam days, a timely bus on busy days… he’s making your life so much easier! He can’t help the surge of pride that lights his heart.

He’s always so vigilant, watching out for you in any way that he possibly can. Whether you’re eating properly or sleeping properly concerns him greatly. It won’t do if you don’t take care of yourself.

Those thorns of envy only continue to bloom as he watches you laugh and talk and interact with other people.

Why can’t he interact with you? He’s the one that’s always watching you and taking care of you. Greed floods inside him as his desires fester. More and more and more – he’s greedy for your attention. For you. 

So, really, it’s no wonder that his thoughts become so twisted and wrathful. You can’t see him even though he gives you all of him, so why should those pesky flies around you get to bask in your presence? It’s not fair. It’s not fair. 

And it’s really not fair that you’re so pretty, so lovely. You always shine so bright, the epitome of everything Finley loves and adores. Watching you makes his skin flush with so much desire.

But he shouldn’t be feeling this way – oh, no. No pure, perfect, pristine angel should be feeling this way. Only those that have been corrupted by the world succumb to their desires. By the time Finley realizes this, he’s already in too deep. He’s already been colored by all shades of you.

So, there’s really only one answer, right?

Tell me. Were you sent by my dad to take care of me? No, I volunteered.

I was just "lightly" going off in the tags of a gorgeous gif set about how much I love Sang Yan's bravery, but I have more to say that can't be contained in the tags. I still don't know if I can fully express my thoughts and feelings about this masterpiece of a show, but something that I can at least articulate is why I love Sang Yan as a character so much. To me, he truly is the most perfect example of "Do It Scared". This boy has never gotten over the heartbreak he suffered that fateful night in the rain in Beiyu. He has never let go of the girl he was in love with. Never, not in all these many years. And we see it in everything he does. Everything. In every terrible excuse of nonchalance or contrived situation of incredible kindness. In every step he takes towards her instead of back for his self preservation. Every instance of him trying to be cool, only for it to be so blatantly obvious he is expressing his care. Maybe in a tentative way, but boy is scared. It's obvious in the way he is still the quiet, serious boy he was back then, but he still moves in with her after losing his home. He doesn't run after her, but he buys extra food and furniture and makes their home cozy and kind and safe for her. We see it in the way he has never gotten close to another girl. In how it's mentioned more than once that his best friends never get close enough to know him intimately. But he lets her see him vulnerable in bits and pieces, and he gets to see her in return. We see it in the entire existence of Overtime as a concept, especially now that we know it was her dream to have this safe space to unwind. It's in the way he quietly and vulnerably entreats her sleeping self to reach out a hand first - to reach out more obviously - because he doesn't know if he can put himself out there again to be hurt because he is still nursing those years old wounds. And yet, in spite of his fear, we see he still buys the ticket to see her in Beiyu before she is finally brave for him. Once again offering her his heart. He loved her years ago, and has loved her all along, quietly and removed, with no pressure of reciprocation. For better or worse, fear or not, he is the epitome of someone who loves and loves and loves.
