"Who's Hotter?" Anime Husbandos

Black Clover Pacific Rim Au

Hi everyone I had this idea some time ago and talked to some people about. Few of us actually started writing something and it looked pretty good. This is still an open idea and very much a WIP, but I wanted to finally share it 💕 (took me 1.5 months to do so)

Some main information

Jeager pairings are the same as combo parings in BC mobile game (I'll go through them below)

This is the time, when the jesger program was at its peak, so there is a lot of them and they are well organised

Characters are stationed at the Clover base (which is in Japan) officially run by Augustus Kira (he's terrified of Kaiju and is there only to uphold his reputation and position)

The story starts with Asta and Yuno arriving at the Clover base as new junior pilots with their jeager

Just like in Pacific Rim, this story happens in real world and suit countries are bases

Jeager pairings at the beginning of the story:

Nozel & Fuegoleon

Pilot one of the best jeagers in the whole world and are an extraordinary team.

They usually lead missions as captains.

They are very popular and known for their merits.

Everyone looks up to them and they have big fanclubs.

They go way back, so their drift is very efficient, until recent problems

They come from high situated families associated with the jeager program.

Asta & Yuno

They come from an orphanage and everyone suspects, that their parents died because of a Kaiju attack

They participate in try outs for jeager pilots

It appears that their drift is exceptional so they get it in to the training program, despite no one actually believing in them

Asta wants to become a jeager pilot, to obviously protect the citizens and become the next commander, but he also wants to impress a nun that was taking care of the boys in the orphanage

Yami & Jack

They are a mess to say at least, but at least they are efficient

This team is being sent out, when they need some unconventional methods

Their jeager uses sharp plasma edged swords and fights mostly close distance

Noelle & Mimosa

Since they come from the Vermillon and Silva families they are expected to do great

Nozel doesn't want Noelle to pilot a jeager, he says that she's weak, but she ends up signing up anyway

Girls are in the same training group as Asta and Yuno when they arrive at the Clover Base

However since Noelle was badly treated by her siblings she has problems with trust and her drift is very shaky

Her and Mimosa even though being effective in training fail in the jeager while drifting

However after Noelle gets to know Asta better, she learns how to deal with her emotions and past

Magna & Luck

They are the "wild" team

Their jeager is smaller, but very agile

It shoots fire projectiles and is able to electrocute

Luck's mother pushed him into the jeager program

At first it was hard for Luck to open up to Magna through drift

However later they begin to ghost drift... (This is Tam's and @t-f-t's idea!!!)

Also they are CHRONIC drift junkies (another amazing idea of Tam and Alex!)

Finral & Vanessa

Finral was pushed away by his influential family and ended up in the jeager program wanting to prove himself

Vanessa on the other hand was running away from her abusive mother

They clicked in the barracks, when they were sneaking out to a bar, during their training and it appeared they were compatible

They are a support jeager

Charlotte & Sol

Charlotte took Sol under her wing

They have a female looking jeager

Nacht & Morgen (Not active anymore 😔)

They used to be one of the best teams there were

However an accident happened and Morgen was ripped out of the jeager by a kaiju

Nacht finished the fight on his own, but it took a tool on him

He hasn't drifted with anyone since Morgen

He hangs around the base, but is very closed of, he only talks to few people

Julius (is he really by himself..?)

Julius is the only one known to pilot a jeager by himself

He excels at everything he does and quickly takes the lead

Commander of the forces

He has a secret partner pilot he doesn't know about... (yes it's Lucius)

Some relationships that happen:

Asta & Noelle (I have a story idea for them)

At first Noelle is apprehensive of him, but later, when she sees his good heart she warms up

Asta helps her and inspires Noelle to become stronger

She obviously never admits that she cares for him...

Yami & Charlotte

Their two teams usually don't work together and Charlotte seems to not be fond of Yami

However under the cold exterior she hides her crush on the rugged jeager pilot

They get to know each other while working at the same base

OCs

Briar (the meeting happens later in the story)

She is a modified human for a project Azure Queen

Azure-Queen was a scientific attempt to create and control their own Kaiju, made by the Diamond base

Azure queens are genetically modified women who can theoretically control the Kaiju

Each Queen has one Kaiju

Briar has Uroboros

Yuno & Neva

They met earlier in the Academy, previously to being assigned to the Clover base

Neva was adopted and taken care of by a famous pilot William Vangeance

She is closed of and at first they did not get along greatly

However with time they learned to lean on each other

Neva was transferred to the Clover base without a partner pilot

She was amazing at the simulators but was closed of and could not drift with anyone

Now she has six months to find a co pilot or she's out

Nacht & Josele

one of the reasons Nacht stayed at the base was Josele

Josele is a coach for the jaeger training program, she takes care of new recruits such as Asta and Yuno

she used to be with Morgen and his death hit her hard

Nacht experienced through drift the memories of Morgen and Josele, so even though he had feelings for her as well he pulled back

Now he can't leave, something urges him to stay and watch her back

Lisa & Julius

Julius saves Lisa during one of the Kaiju attacks

She is grateful and joins the fight against them

She becomes one of the military advisors and watches over the missions

Her and Julius's relationship develops and they become very close

Zora & Odette

Zora is the best on the simulator. He kicks ass of all of those who are "better fit" to be jeager pilots, but there's one problem. He can't find anyone to drift with.

He meets Odette a new trainee brought by Yami

And somehow they click

Now they need to go through training until getting their jeager

Nozel & Helena (obviously I have a more developed story here as well)

Helena is a doctor from Spain who wishes to help with the Kaiju war so she gets a job at the Clover base

Little does she know, that she will fall for a mysterious and cold jeager pilot

Nozel and Helena meet during a mandatory health check up for pilots, because she fills in for his previous doctor, with who Nozel parted on bad terms

Nozel is even more angry about the doctor change and they start off at the wrong foot

Additionally their personalities and views on how the jeager program is conducted differ

However with time something, maybe curiosity, mystery and definitely desire, draws them towards one another, but they keep their relationship secret

However that's not the only secret that Nozel hides...

The only one who knows about Nozelena is Fuegoleon, because he shares a drift with Nozel

Poor Fuego has to watch them be not necessarily proper 😂. However it's not like his attention is not completely swept by a foreign Drift specialist...

Fuegoleon & Solara

Solara is a specialist, when it comes to drift. She compares the memories to the flowing river and teaches the pilots how to navigate and let it flow, so they would more efficient

She was brought to the base by Mereolona, who normally doesn't pilot, but can join in when needed (she's a beast then)

Solara feels a special connection to a certain red headed pilot, who is one of those she's supposed to help with his recent drift problems

At first Fuego and Lara are shy and some misunderstandings slow down the pace of their relationship

However as time passes it develops into something deep and real

There are some problems, because other bases, especially the one she transferred from, need Solara, but the pair fights to be together

Some OC owners have more developed stories for their own OCs. I hope I didn't mix anything here in this summary.

I to be honest have some specific ideas only for two (Nozelena and Astelle).

jotaro. from a long line of them. the joestars even have a canon vampire in the family it's fine. very very very reclusive, very very very old, very very very tired of everyone.

satoru. unfortunately was also born to be a vampire. enjoys hunting and all the luxuries that come with being a night dwelling creature.

narumi. kind of convinced he is one sometimes anyway.

senku. idk his energy gives like reclusive genius who everyone is really suspicious of and they're right to be bc he's a vampire but his long life lets him truly change humanity.

hunters:

hyoga. are you joking? this would be his life's purpose. chasing, hunting, eradicating. i could see him being from like a belmont family style line of vampire hunters. hyoga with a whip...meooooww. HYOGA WITH HIS SPEAR meooowwwwww.

trafalgar law. the worlds most agitated and annoyed vampire hunter but now im getting a little hot and flustered imagining a team of law and yami. tall dark and handsome, come on down.

yami of course. born to fight for the right side no matter how he behaves.

umemiya. i'd love to see him with some fangs but he'd be the type who believed he could change a vampire into a good vampire. probably has a silver cross necklace. wears a cool jacket.

sanemi. much like hyoga it's his life's purpose and he loves it and he's fearsome and good at it.

obi. much like ume, too nice. the person who is like "i can bring them to the light if not i can bring them to justice!" and like...yeah you can do that big boy.

laxus. i think he goes without saying and he's so smug about being a hunter and has a lot to prove.

50/50:

grimmjow. why? he's grimmjow. he would be a vampire who hunts vampires for fun. he'd be a hunter who hunts vampires and other hunters for fun. unhinged around the clock 24/7. he could be either and i would love him both ways. i think a chase with him as a hunter and me as a vamp would be a goooooood time tho....

kakashi. i could see him being the worlds most reclusive vampire who only surfaces to feed or a calm, slow moving, investigation driven hunter. i tend to prefer werewolf kakashi so he leans a little more hunter...

(Well not totally "yay" because William dies but, uh, you get the point.)

This au thought just puts Alistar through it...

I do love how so many people are like "We'll take him."

Klaus and his wife want to help but also realize that he needs space from the Golden Dawn. I'm sure they'd regularly visit him still. Because while Alistar needs distance, he still needs the company of those familiar to him, which the Lunettes would be.

Yuno and Neva wanting to help! Their lives have been irreversibly changed by William for the better. Of course they want to do whatever they can for Alistar. Not simply to return any favors. But because they probably feel for Alistar, especially Neva. Her parents's lives were taken and she was alone so of course she'd want to step in and prevent Alistar from being left on his own, even if he lost William later than she lost her own parents. Though, as said, being moved to Spade would be a lot for Alistar. But I can imagine Yuno and Neva telling Alistar "if you need space from Clover, then Spade will accept you with open arms."

Patry would certainly be overcome with grief at the loss of his best friend. But it'd also strengthen his resolve to help Alistar. He owes William so much so, yeah, he'd definitely hear William's voice in his head imploring Patry to help Alistar. But again, the big move would be too much for Alistar after such a loss. (Although baby Alistar growing up in Elysia ksjdhfiasu! I imagine he'd be like "yeah I'm the only person here with rounded ears so I'm a little weird.")

Fuelara taking in Alistar! Waaaahhhhhh! Alistar being adopted into a family where he gets to be around his peers would probably help. He doesn't just have adults worrying about him (and he might think they're "looking down on him" with pity which wouldn't be true but he'd be a mess mentally and emotionally). He's also got friends by his sides. Fuegoleon's relationship with William was certainly strained but it's been years at that point and that would be put aside for the sake of caring for Alistar instead. And there is Zera's wish as well, which doesn't come with as complicated history thank goodness.

Safhsauhtsiuat! Nacsele! Both parents have reasons for wanting to reach out and help Alistar. Josele has her friendships with William and Zera while Nacht feels more personally for Alistar's situation of losing family. Also, Alistar wouldn't be their first adopted child (they got Sterling a few years back) so they'd quickly be able to figure out how to go about integrate him into the family in a way he's comfortable with (where Sterling got a whole identity change, I assume Alistar would want to maintain his original name to stay connected to his father). It might seem like much for the couple to take in another child while already having 6 but their kids are smart and kind and so would know not to cause Alistar any extra stress but instead welcome him with love.

And at last we come to YamiChar! They'd definitely feel inclined to help Alistar given their connection to William as a fellow captain (or former captain at point in their lives). Their promises to Zera are yet another reason to help. Hikari being there would probably cement their choice to take Alistar in. Hikari definitely seems to be the type to be all "we have to adopt Alistar and help him out! I need to be there for him!" Which is so sweet and kind and wonderful of Hikari; definitely the daughter of her strong-willed parents. I also love the other siblings' reactions, Hana being wary but eventually accepting while Einer is immediately like "finally, a big brother."

No matter where Alistar goes, he'd be in good hands!

hello Lyra ! I have a question about alistar , What if William died when he was a kid ( about 12 years old ) ? How will this affect his character?

Hiya Anon! Ooo a question about our lovely Alistar 👀? Let’s see!

If William died when Alistar was 12 years old…I think it would greatly affect Alistar, which I vaguely touched on in COTF when he lost control of his powers.

Alistar actually goes through a lot around that age (he finds out about how his mother died, he loses control of his powers for the first time, he makes new friends, the GD members become even more wary of him, etc). So for William to also die during that time…it would be the final nail in the coffin for him and I think it would take many years before he would ever recover from it fully.

I imagine he would lose control of his powers right after he was told about William’s death. During that time Alistar would completely shut down. He wouldn’t eat, wouldn’t sleep, and would probably develop selective mutism due to the trauma (it wouldn’t be permanent, but it’d last at least 6 months to a year possibly). I imagine, when he lost control of his powers, it would be a lot more destructive and would last a lot longer then when he found out about how Zera died.

I don’t know if it would affect Alistar’s path in life very much 🤔. He would still become Captain of the Golden Dawn, and he would still be kind. But i think it would take him a lot longer to get there and I think he would be just a *little* more reckless than what he usually is.

So I have a lot of different ideas/AU’s for what would happen to him and where he would go if something like this happened. Some of them include OC’s by my mutuals and they are listed below 🥰!

After everyone find’s out about William’s death they all come together to decide what happens to him. Klaus and his wife would consider taking Alistar in, but after discussing it, would worry that being in the Golden Dawn right now would be a big trigger for him so would think it’s better for him to be away from the squad until he was older and had recovered.

Yuno and Neva (my OC) would come in from Spade and would discuss taking Alistar in and bringing him back to Spade with them. William had done so much for the two throughout the years, so this could easily be a way for them to repay William, but after discussing it the two would agree that this wasn’t the best decision for Alistar. Making him move from Clover to Spade right after his father died and forcing him to adjust to a new environment with new people would just put even more stress on the poor boy. So the two would decide it’s best that he stay in Clover, but the two would check in on him regulary as he grew up. (If Alistar was a baby then they would take him back to Spade with them.)

Patry would immediately travel from Elysia to Clover and would offer to take Alistar back to Elysia with him. It would be a way for him to honor his best friend, and he could just imagine William in the afterlife saying “You owe me for what happened during the Reincarnation!”. But would run into the same problem as YuNeva, would it *really* be better for Alistar if he moved to Elysia? Patry would come to the same conclusion as YuNeva and would decide it’s better that he stay in Clover, but he would go to Clover weekly to check up on him! (If Alistar was a baby then he’d take him back to Elysia).

Fuegoleon and Solara ( @thoughtfullyrainynightmare ‘s OC) would also discuss taking in Alistar although…it would be pretty awkward given the circumstances 😅. But Zera was a very good friend to Solara and Fue, and they would want to keep their promise to Zera to be there and lookout for Alistar if something ever happened to her. I think they would weigh the pro’s and con’s of adding another to their already growing family (they already have a set of twins that are the same age as Alistar, as well as a toddler named Elenora), and after a lengthy discussion Fuegoleon would decide to put his complicated relationship with William aside and the two would decide to take Alistar in. But they wouldn’t tell him what happened to Fuegoleon’s arm until he was older and more able to handle it.

Nacht and his wife Josele ( @loosesodamarble ‘s OC) would also discuss taking Alistar in. Josele was close to both Zera and William so like Solara she had promised to take care of Alistar in the event of something ever happening to them, and Nacht would know what it’s like losing your entire family and feeling like it’s all your fault even if it wasn’t. So the two would quickly agree to take him in and care for him like he was one of their own, they already had 6 children so what was one more 😁? But like FueLara they weighed the pro’s and con’s of adding another and, like FueLara, they found the pro’s outweighed the con’s 😆!

Yami and Charlotte (whose OC kids belong to @eme-eleff !) would discuss taking Alistar in as well, they both promised Zera and William that they would take care of him if anything ever happened to them. They would weigh the pro’s and con’s just like the others, and would come to the same conclusion as they did. Their eldest daughter Hikari was already close with Alistar (and they were only a week apart) so the two of them would get along well, Einar would be happy to have another older sibling (especially since it’s an older brother 😆), and Hana would be wary at first but she’d eventually warm up to him. So Yami and Charlotte would take him in and care for him the way William did.

These are just the different directions that this idea could go into and I love this AU idea 😆! Thank you so much for sending this ask in anon I had lots of fun thinking about it 🥰!

there were very few things madison missed about her father. 

still, sometimes there was the pang there - the fact that logan would never learn how to change a tire, or her oil. not that she’d get a car, or need to drive - everything in logan’s life had been narrowed down to a few blocks, and the rest of the world was a temptation she’d never get to see. not for another five years - if any of them lasted that long. 

but there had been afternoons madison had rolled up her own sleeves, the hood above her head, her face smeared in grease as she worked on her piece of junk car back during her college days. ‘why go to a mechanic,’ her father had always preached, ‘when you can fix it yourself!’ the words were usually followed by a racist rant, something his wife and children tuned out over the years, but his lessons had taught madison enough to find herself yearning for the heat of the sun on her legs and the scent of gasoline and oil. 

she knew she couldn’t work on the cars the town had in it’s inventory ( put together for use for all who needed it, but primarily the runners and recruiters, vehicles limited in their escape routes. her own car was there - the beat up old honda who had survived almost twenty years and was now merely a junker for parts in other, nicer cars ) but she could certainly head to the mechanics station, hoping to see a friendly face among them. 

she wasn’t disappointed - yami was there, looking much like madison had herself when she got to tweak with things back in the ‘old days’. she didn’t want to distract her, so she simply waited by the trunk of the car yami was under until the girl appeared, a smile on her face. “hey,” she greeted easily, “i was getting listeless at the house and i had a proposition i wanted to run by you.”

The Golden Dawn Mafia AU!

William Vangeance: The King. He grew up in poverty and was mostly ignored by everyone, until eventually it was revealed to him that he is the bastard child of a major company’s CEO, and was set to inherit it. But after moving in with his father and step-mother his neglect and mistreatment only grew worse. Until eventually he ran away as a young teen and stumbled into a high class bar that was run and owned by Julius Novachrono called “The Grey Deer”, and Julius took him under his wing (along with Morgen Faust, Yami Sukehiro, and Marx Francois) and eventually showed him his true business before helping him establish his own “Mafia Family”.

Zera Cassia: The Queen. She is the youngest child and only daughter of Rika Cassia, the leader of a world renowned Mafia group. Originally she wasn’t supposed to get involved in the “underworld” like her father and brothers, but they all found that she seemed to have a knack for it and so was put in charge of smuggling things in and out of the city of Clover. Many suitors asked for her hand, not because they loved her, but because they wanted her family’s power and influence. So in order to get the suitors to stop harassing her decided to choose a random mafia leader to marry; William Vangeance.

Yuno Grinberryall: The Ace. He is the son of a wealthy CEO and his wife, and is an only child. After his father was killed when he was an infant he was raised by his mother and was set to inherit his father’s company after he became of age. But at the age of 15 he discovered that his father was assassinated by a mafia family called the Zogratis’s, and so after some searching he went to the Golden Dawn mafia family and joined them to find out who killed his father and to take revenge while also keeping his mother and the company safe from the Zogratis family.

Neva Belmonte: The Diamond. She is the adopted sister of William and is the daughter of a popular chef and baker. When she was 7 years old her parents were killed during a robbery and because she had no living relatives was sent to an orphanage. She wasn’t there long as the next day William Vangeance, a good friend of her parents, came to get her and raised her as his little sister ever since. He tried his best to keep her away from the mafia life, but instead she ran right for it, and ended up becoming one of the strongest in the family. She is referred to as “the Princess of the Golden Dawn” by the other family members.

Mimosa Vermillion: The Flower. She is the daughter of a wealthy mafia family, but instead of joining the family like they expected her to, she decided to join the Golden Dawn and become the mafia family’s in-house doctor.

Klaus Lunettes: The Lance. The son of a well to do business man, Klaus was projected to go to college and take over his fathers business once he decided to retire. But after he witnessed William Vangeance and his mafia family help a group a young women that the cops ignored and wouldn’t help, he found that he admired them. So instead of taking over his fathers business, he decided to join the Golden Dawn.

David Swallow: The Joker. He is cunning, sly, and is one heck of a gambler. After trying and getting caught cheating at cards, he was saved from being killed by William and Langris Vaude. To repay his debt, he decided to join the Golden Dawn. Now he runs the gambling houses and casino’s that are in the Golden Dawn’s territory.

Alecdora Sandler: The Jack. He is the son of a wealthy business man and is the heir to his families ‘empire’. When he was a teen he was kidnapped and held for ransom for days, and just as he was about to give up hope of being rescued he was found by William Vangeance and his mafia family the Golden Dawn. But instead of going back to his family, he decided to join William, and he works hard everday to try and repay him for saving his life.

Letoile Becquerel: The Navigator. She is the daughter of computer engineers, and has always been very good at computers and communications. She is the Golden Dawn’s chief navigator and always makes sure that the family is where they need to be and gets to where they need to go. She tends to work off-site, and uses in-ear comm’s in order to communicate with the family.

Langris Vaude: The Knight. He is the youngest son of the Vaude family and is their pride and joy. He initially joined the Golden Dawn at his parents request, since they wanted to keep tabs on William and what he was doing with their money, but after a while Langris found he began to admire the man and started to follow him willingly. He mainly takes care of the business side of things, and leaves the “shadier” side to the others as he doesn’t like it nor does he want to be associated with it.
