Tsuneo's favorite fishes

I had watched "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish" since it was in the cinema. And I keep watching this anime again and again. I love the story, the characters and their romantic relationship! My post today will be about Tsuneo's favorite fishes. It’s clarion angelfish.

As mentioned on the wiki: “the Clarion angelfish (Holacanthus clarionensis) is a species of marine ray-finned fish, a marine angelfish belonging to the family Pomacanthidae. It is found in the eastern Pacific Ocean, almost exclusively near islands off the Pacific coast of Mexico”.

Also, it was said that such fishes “are a little studied species”. But these fish are really beautiful, not right? I really get Tsuneo's desire to study in Mexico in order to witness such magnificent angelfish ahaha

P. S. did you know that angelfish secrete a poison that has no antidote? :)

Re-view: Josee, the Tiger and the Fish (ジョゼと虎と魚たち, Hepburn: Joze to Tora to Sakanatachi)

is a 2020 Japanese animated romantic comedy drama film, based on the short story of the same name by Seiko Tanabe. The film stars the voices of Taishi Nakagawa and Kaya Kiyohara.

Dengan peran utama wanita 24 tahun bernama Kumiko Yamamura yang menamai dirinya sebagai Josee, salah satu tokoh dalam buku cerita. Dan peran utama laki-laki 22 tahun Tsuneo Suzukawa, mahasiswa tingkat akhir jurusan biological science kayak ilmu kelautan gitu yang cinta dengan scuba diving.

Mereka accidentally ketemu saat kursi roda yang digunakan Josee blong remnya dan menabrak Tsuneo. Singkat cerita neneknya Josee minta bantuan Tsuneo untuk ngerawat Josee dengan upah yang disetujui. Besides, Tsuneo butuh biaya untuk cita-citanya melanjutkan studi ke Mexico dan mendalami tentang dunia diving serta makhluk hidup dibawah sana.

Yang aku suka dari film gini tuh romancenya dapet tipis-tipis, tapi moral valuenya juga dapet! Both of chatacter lead merepresentasikan kegigihannya, walaupun di tengah jalan mereka ‘kesandung batu’, tapi mereka tetep berusaha buat meraih apa yang jadi tujuan mereka. Keren banget!

Dari film ini aku belajar gaada yang gamungkin kalau kita emang mau usaha. Terus juga gapeduli seberapa 'miss'nya kita, pasti bakal ada kok orang-orang yang dengan tulus menyayangi kita.

Belum lagi si Tsuneo ini kadang ngasih kejutan kecil yang bikin penonton (re: aku) mleyot yaa hahaha.

Ohiyaaa aku kaget banget pas baru selesai nonton, ternyata seiyū nya mas Taishi. Makin baperrrr😭☝️

Dan pastinya happy ending yaaa! Kita mah cari yang bahagia-bahagia aja yekan, real lyf gua udh terlalu sengsara untuk dikasih sad ending🤣🙏🏼

Ohiya satu lagi! OST nya diisi sama Eve yang eargasm banget!! Intinya ini film berdurasi 98 menit ini wajib ditonton deh🤍✨️

Il nuovo lungometraggio dello studio Bones debutterà in Giappone a dicembre.

Pubblicato un primo trailer per il film d’animazione basato sul racconto “Joze to Tora to Sakana-tachi” (Josee, the Tiger and the Fish) di Seiko Tanabe, che dopo il rinvio a causa dell’emergenza Covid-19 approderà nei cinema giapponesi il prossimo 25 dicembre.

Il video anticipa il tema musicale della pellicola, intitolato "Ao no Waltz" e cantato da Eve.

L’adattamento è prodotto dallo studio Bones (Carole & Tuesday, My Hero Academia, Dragon Pilot: Hisone & Masotan) ed è diretto da Koutarou Tamura (Noragami) e sceneggiato da Sayaka Kuwamura. Il design dei personaggi si basa appunto su quello concepito dall’illustratrice Nao Emoto (Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo) ed è adattato da Haruko Iizuka (Tamayura, Endro~!), che supervisiona anche il comparto animazioni. Il concept design è affidato a loundraw (Voglio mangiare il tuo pancreas, Yume ga Sameru made) e al suo FLAT STUDIO, mentre le musiche sono a cura di Evan Call (Violet Evergarden, Hakumei to Mikochi).

Tsuneo è uno studente universitario che lavora part-time in una sala da mahjong, dove ultimamente i clienti non fanno che parlare a proposito di un’anziana signora che si porta appresso sempre una carrozzina. Nessuno sa cosa trasporti e molti pensano a qualcosa di losco, tipo denaro o droga per conto di qualche organizzazione criminale. Un giorno Tsuneo ha l’occasione di sbirciare dentro alla carrozzina ed è lì che fa la conoscenza di Josee. La ragazza, che si fa chiamare come l’eroina di un romanzo di Françoise Sagan, non è in grado di camminare e così la nonna la accompagna tutti i giorni portandola sulla vecchia carrozzina. Man mano che si frequentano, Tsuneo scopre che il vero nome della giovane è Kumiko ed inizia ad essere sempre più attratto da lei.

Il racconto è stato pubblicato originariamente in una raccolta di storie brevi nel 1985 e nel 2003 ha ispirato un film live action, diretto da Isshin Inudou.

Dal gennaio scorso inoltre viene pubblicata sula rivista Da Vinci di Kadokawa la versione manga della storia, disegnata sempre da Nao Emoto.
