You know seeing Gaara again at the summit is probably kinda funny from Sasuke’s perspective because Gaara is lecturing Sasuke about morality and shit (operating with very incomplete information) but this is Sasuke’s FIRST TIME seeing Gaara after the timeskip. The last time Sasuke saw Gaara he was a mentally unstable serial killer screaming that Sasuke was his prey hallucinating that he was talking to his dead mother.

i think one of the things that immensely increases my goodwill toward firefly wedding (in the sense that i normally run from yandere characters like i'm running from the plague) is that shinpei's behavior is both clearly shown to be a product of his childishness and lack of understanding of what actual love (in any of its forms, be it familial or romantic) looks and feels like AND portrayed as deeply upsetting and destructive.
i keep thinking back to his and satoko's conversation about what love is/entails on chapter 19 and how it ends with satoko telling him he "doesn't get it at all" and it ends on a comic and light-hearted note but i still find it immensely revealing when it comes to shinpei's mindset. because it's true, he doesn't get it. love for him is a person never leaving, never establishing a boundary, and it's wrong and sickening and twisted but your heart breaks for him a little because he so clearly holds those same beliefs about himself. there is nothing he won't do, no sacrifice he won't make to keep satoko by his side. to remain beneath the light of her love.
but the understanding and empathy the narrative makes you have towards him doesn't blunt the genuine danger he poses to other characters and even satoko herself at times, and i think that's so important, especially because it makes other characters' negative reactions to him all the more plausible. like yeah, he IS scary!!
long story short firefly wedding has given me brainworms

Fairy Tail Discussion: END'S POTENTIAL RETURN IN 100 YEARS QUEST!!
youtube
E.N.D was one of the most talked about characters within the Fandom because He was essentially revealed to be the main character Natsu Dragneel specifically Etherious Natsu Dragneel at the end of The Tartaros Arc. One in which had so much build up in the original series that ultimately felt like an afterthought towards the end. That is until Fairy Tail:100 Years Quest Manga came out and we had gotten to a sign that almost resembled what Natsu looked like as E.N.D when he was given Ignia's flame in the Water Dragon God arc. Before things got any worse it was thanks to Lucy who prevented the situation from getting any worse. At the same time, it also led to many people in the fandom to speculate about E.N.D's potential return in the series more so in the latest arc.

SHE DRIVES A MOTORCYCLE, OH MY GOD
Not only is she very attractive, but she's a biker and I think that's so cool ^-^
I'm partly biased cuz my OC Miki is meant to be my ideal girlfriend, and Nurse Morikubo is checking all my boxes (looks, personality, height, humor). She's just so perfect and I'm over here, laying in bed, gay panicking and getting flustered over her imagining if I was in the main character's place instead. (I mean, she is also a gay panicking mess but I digress)
Tumblr media
Just, look at her cute face here. She's both cute AND cool, the perfect combo a h h h h h

The Price Paid for Piracy
During the summer of this year, I learned that one of my favorite pirated anime websites was taken down by the government. It is part of the plan to erase pirated anime sites from the face of the map. And now I have paid the price for watching pirated anime content the hard way.

My Anime List 4/100: Princess Tutu
Episodes: 38 Seasons: 1 Personal Ranking: 8/10
Synopsis: In a fairy tale come to life, the clumsy, sweet, and gentle Ahiru (Japanese for "duck") seems like an unlikely protagonist. In reality, Ahiru is just as magical as the talking cats and crocodiles that inhabit her town—for Ahiru really is a duck! Transformed by the mysterious Drosselmeyer into a human girl, Ahiru soon learns the reason for her existence. Using her magical egg-shaped pendant, Ahiru can transform into Princess Tutu—a beautiful and talented ballet dancer whose dances relieve people of the turmoil in their hearts. With her newfound ability, Ahiru accepts the challenge of collecting the lost shards of her prince's heart, for long ago he had shattered it in order to seal an evil raven away for all eternity. Princess Tutu is a tale of heroes and their struggle against fate. Their beliefs, their feelings, and ultimately their actions will determine whether this fairy tale can reach its "happily ever after." [Written by MAL Rewrite]
