Tsuneo's favorite fishes

I had watched "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish" since it was in the cinema. And I keep watching this anime again and again. I love the story, the characters and their romantic relationship! My post today will be about Tsuneo's favorite fishes. It’s clarion angelfish.

As mentioned on the wiki: “the Clarion angelfish (Holacanthus clarionensis) is a species of marine ray-finned fish, a marine angelfish belonging to the family Pomacanthidae. It is found in the eastern Pacific Ocean, almost exclusively near islands off the Pacific coast of Mexico”.

Also, it was said that such fishes “are a little studied species”. But these fish are really beautiful, not right? I really get Tsuneo's desire to study in Mexico in order to witness such magnificent angelfish ahaha

P. S. did you know that angelfish secrete a poison that has no antidote? :)

大きめの風邪を引いて外に出る気力も体力ももちろんなく。

なんといつもなら予定がある週末なのに、そんなときに限ってフジロックが配信された。久しぶりにくるりのライブを見た。くるりに想いを馳せた。

夕暮れに聞く「上海蟹食べたい」は、さぞ現地にいる人は気持ちが良かっただろう。

顔とかセンスとかなんとなく全体的に好きだな、と思う男の子の腕の中で、よくお酒を飲んで笑いながら、この曲のMVをプロジェクターで見た。落ち着く時間だった。

演奏していなかったけれど「ハイウェイ」はイントロを聴くだけで「ジョゼと虎と魚たち」の寒々とした風景が浮かぶ。

この曲をひたすらリピートしたのは、韮山反射路へ向かう徒歩の旅で。転職活動が上手く行かず嫌になり、飛び出すように出かけた三島の一人旅。　

祖父母のために年2回帰っていた静岡行きの新幹線が、あれほど懐かしくなるなんて思ってなかった。当時は少し退屈とすら思っていた帰省。わたしは大事なものが分かっていなくて、幼かった。

でもくるりとの思い出って結局はひとりのものが多くて、楽しみで待ち遠しくて聴くというよりは電車の中なんかで新譜に気付いて聴く。テレビやCMなんかで気付いて調べにいく。そんな感じ。

だから「琥珀色の街、上海蟹の朝」だけは懐かしくて少し微笑みたくなる思い出があるけれど、それ以外はひとりで、これからもひとりがいい。
