To preface this is a character for an open AU that is set after the end of Reborn! Next->, when Tsuna has fully made the transition from the old Vongola to the Neo Vongola and left italy to return to japan. The old Vongolas restructuring to be more of a cooperative conglomerate under the same name with a democratic leadership. Its been 5 years now, so 10 years after the Manga ended and a new mafia school has beenn established that is set out to edicate and train the children of mafiosi. Felicia Luciana met Tsuna 5 years ago during the transfer where he managed to save her from some rather mean bullies. He told her that she will find the right people for her small world and that she should pursue what her heart desires no matter how weird it sounds to others. Captivated by his words she vows to become the next Neo Primo and goes to the newly opened mafia school only to get a reality check on her naivitee. Still she is not one to give up and decides that if she can not be the next vongola boss, she will jsut make her own family. And that is where the story begins.

She moved from japan to italy. She is a sky flame, but keeps to herself mostly, which is unusual for most skies. Though she is a very good and diligent student.

Aside of the fact that she has a perfect brother who is aparently so talented and can do everything that even Akina with her talents seems to always fall into his shadow, he is also becoming an officer in the anti-mafia/ yakuzza elite squad to rebell against his parents, who are mingling with the yakuzza. Akina doesnt know his motivation, but its basically for her sake. When she entered middleschool in japan her father "sold her" to his boss, who also is part of the yakuzza. She was supposed to be his sons girlfriend and later wife, but she never wanted to play along. Thats when her brother started to act out to pull attention from her. Luckily for her her "fiance" isnt interested in girls and isnt going to make a move on her, though he does see the benefit in having her as his future wife. She wants to get out of the deal however and made a deal with him. That school was very much one that put the best students forward and discriminated the ones not as good (the school had quite a high suicide rate but their good students also went on to amazing highschools and then universities), so she said if she manages to score better in school than he did (and he is the top student) then she will be free. He even modified it that she would go out with ANYONE who took spot nr 1 in the school, so it would motivate other students to study hard, but it always ended the same. Him in place 1 and her on 2nd. When they graduated her father actually made arrangements for her and him to have their own little dorm room at the private highschool both of them would attend. Since she had already known of this plan though she had already very sneakily and in secret taken a schoolarship entry exam for the mafia school in italy and got in, so she basically fled to italy. She is incredibly skilled and talentsd in regular studies Though she picks up fighting very quickly. She is just very socially inept bc her middleschool times were p fucked up. People were always two faced to her and she never had real friends. Through the school adjacent drama club lead by Ren she starts to explore her own gender more and then decides to join Felicias small family despite having the makings of a boss herself.

A lot in the early episodes are pretty important. Relationships, the first death, etc . i'm pretty sure it only took one episode for Taurtis and Sam to both discover drugs, become drug dealers, and become enemies with the yakuzza

If you honestly can't pick it up from the beginning, I'd recommend just skipping to Grian joining. They recap (poorly) what happens to him. If you like it and want further explanation after the fact, then go back and rewatch.

Thursday Thoughts

I am trying to post Skam stuff every day, and today it's Thursday, and I'm going to share a thought or two! I want to share a little something about Skam and character development, because that's one of the things I just love about Skam. Each season one character seems to have an issue, or something they have to learn how to deal with. I think that Isak has had perhaps the most impressive character development, but they all grow. In fact, a lot of the characters  have to eat their own words in the end.

Eva  starts out in season one with low self esteem, lonely and without friends, clinging to her boyfriend Jonas. She also struggles with feelings of guilt, because she has stolen Jonas from one of her best friends, and jealosy because she feels she can`t trust him. At one point she believes that everyone hates her, and that she needs to transfer to another school. She also realizes that she’s too dependent of Jonas.  In the end of her season, she seems to forgive herself, and she grows stronger. In the end of season 4, she is surrounded by friends, and she’s independent.  

Noora also grows as a character. She has a cool facade in the beginning. She appears to be kind of a control freak, who has strong opinions and high morals, and she seems a bit judgemental both to herself and to others.

In season 2 she have some tough experiences that she grows stronger from and she learns to look behind her prejudices. She takes a leap of faith and lets someone come near. In the end of season 3 and 4 she’s a lot more whole as a person, as she for instance can admit to the fact that she likes Justin Bieber (gasp).   

The one character that impresses me the most when it comes to character developement, is Isak. He is also the one who needs to eat his words a lot.

Isak says to Eva in season 1 that “you are what you do.” That it says a lot about you if you choose to give up (and transfer to another school). He also says that Bakka students are media art wannabees. And who does he end up with? A slightly hipster-like student who has transferred from Bakka. Burn.

Yeah, Isak grows a lot. In season 1 he seems to be an insecure, but cocky little brat that tries to keep his buddy Jonas to himself. Of course, this is how he appears from Eva`s perspective, but there is probably a hint of truth in this. He is smart, and works hard at school. He can be a good friend and helpful in many ways, but he also tricks Eva, and basically breaks up two relationships in the process.  

In the end of season 1, we see that he struggles, because of his family situation, and because he`s ashamed of what he has done to his friends. He possibly also struggles to come to terms with his sexuality.

In season two, we hardly see Isak, except that he makes out with Sara in the background. We learn that he tries to take revenge on the Yakuzza boys because they hurt Jonas. Via hints we understand that he gets enough of his family, and runs from home.

In the beginning of season 3, Isak has become a cocky charmer on the outside, while he still is as insecure on the inside. He seems to be making out with girls at parties, and wants to be cool, but is also clumsy and keeps a lot to himself. He struggles with his sexuality, but has prejudices against homosexuality.

He meets Even, that he gets drawn to, and he starts to accept that he is gay (I`m not gay, or maybe a little gay). This is a difficult process to him, but after good advise from the School “doctor”, he finally dares to talk to Jonas, and tell him about his feelings. This is a huge developement. Through support from his friends, he gradually learns to become more honest about his feelings and who he is. He comes out to his friends and dares to let himself fall in love with Even. He also decides to live real and "not fake".

Through Even Isak also learns to come over his fear and judgement towards mental illnesses. Magnus helps him to see the normality of Even`s disorder. Isak is a smart kid, he listens, and he learns. And he grows a lot. He choses Even, and choses to take one minute at the time. In season 4 he is stronger, happier, and although he still has his temper, he is in another place. He has to eat his own words one more time, though. He told Sana to meet the prejudice questions with answers, but then he got to be shouted at in the street himself. I believe that was a background for some of the stuff he wrote with Noora in the Sana-speech. 

Sana also grows a lot as a character. In the beginning she has a tough mask on, which she probably needs, as she has been bullied and met prejudices for years. In season 1 she seems almost rude as she shushes on Vilde and bosses everyone around. Still, we can see that she does everything she can to protect her new friends. 

In season 2 she's often the voice of reason. She's the one that suggests that Noora tries to understand and not judge. In season 3 she gets more dimensions as a character when she becomes Isak's friend and we learn that she knows Even. She tells Isak that hate doesn’t come from religion, but seems to forget it a little when she struggles herself in season 4. She also eats her own words. In season 3 she tells Isak that she hates when people fuck over their friends. Then, in season 4 she basically fucks over Isak. And Isak confronts her about it, too.

It takes some time, but she gradually learns that her friends are there for her, too, and not just the other way around. She learns that she can tell her friends what she struggles with. I think she also learns that being a part of the mainstream society (the russe buss) isn't the most important thing in the world, as long as you have your own group of losers.

I think I'll stop there, this became longer than I intended. If you have read all of this I'm kinda impressed, ahahaha. But maybe you have noticed some things I have forgotten here? Or maybe you have perceived things differently? I would love to know.

CBWA MATCH EVENT: 

CBWA Drugwars 4 Pay Pay-per-view 

Date: Sunday, May, 10 2020 

Location: Bogota, Colombia

We are backstage at CBWA Drugwars4. 

He’s been missing for a few weeks now but we can finally confirm that CBWA World Champion YAKUZZA is in the building. He arrived a short time ago with CBWA VP Greg Gagne. Gagne showed him to his dressing room. 

The Eye of Gibson has arrived with his entourage. They’re wearing armbands with LUPE written across them. Gibson stops to sign an autograph for a cleaner, who didn’t even ask for one. 

He walks by Mr. Jerry Jarett and the two share smiles and a fist bump before Gibson retires to his private dressing room. 

A few moments later a black limousine pulls up to the giant garage doors and out of the back comes former CBWA World Champion, Steve Ryder. What a surprise. Ryder is joined by two beautiful women on each side. He strolls into the stadium with a bottle of his world famous “RYDER SPIRITS VODKA.” 

As Ryder walks into the building he comes face to face with YAKUZZA. The two men don’t say a word but Ryder is first to break the silence. He tells Yakuzza that what happened in the past is now behind him, he’s retired and he wants to move on with his life and enjoy his time with his two wives. 

YAKUZZA nods and in a show of peace, Ryder offers the bottle to YAKUZZA. He takes it and Ryder walks off with his girls and enters Gibson’s dressing room. 

YAKUZZA looks around and leaves with a smile on his face. It’s important to note that rumours have been going around about YAKUZZA and that he’s been having issues with drinking. Some have said that he recently spent time in a Bogota Rehab Center.

SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH GREG GAGNE vs RODDY HART vs BIG BUBBA BOGOTA

There were some fast-paced lucha spots to start it off. Roddy Hart carried the match early with a lot of high-risk offense.

Gagne drop kicked Big Bubba on one of the body bags on the outside. Big Bubba hit a splash off the back of Roddy Hart onto Gagne, then powerbombed him through a table.

Gagne somehow wound up in the back, popping out of a door and continuing to beat up Big Bubba on the bleacher risers. Meanwhile, Roddy Hart climbed to the eagle’s nest-style area as Gagne and Big Bubba fought. Roddy Hart hit them both with an insane crossbody.

Gagne put Big Bubba on the top rope and went for a suplex, but Roddy Hart stopped him with a kick to the kidneys. Roddy Hart went for a Frankensteiner from the top, but Big Bubba tossed him out of the ring, where he landed on Gagne, putting him through a table.

Big Bubba hit a piledriver while jumping backwards on Roddy Hart through a table and rolled him into a body bag. Roddy squirmed out quickly as Bubba and Gagne went at it. Gagne drop kicked Big Bubba who fell backwards, cracking his head open on the cement.

Gagne beat on Roddy Hart. Roddy Hart then got busted open but kept fighting back.

They exchanged offense, as Roddy Hart continued to fight back and overcome the odds. Finally, Gagne caught him with a flatliner when he attempted a top rope attack. Gagne drug him to the apron and opened a body bag. He fireman carried Roddy Hart and placed him in the body bag, zipping it shut for the victory.

WINNER AND NEW SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPION: GREG GAGNE

-------BACKSTAGE with YAKUZZA

YAKUZZA just stumbled out of his dressing room. Gagne is trying to talk to him but he seems messed up. Mr. Jarett and Kenny Bolin are talking about how to deal with the situation. YAKUZZA is led back into his dressing room, unable to make it to the promo room. 

Into the head of YAKUZZA

He’s stumbling around, disorientated, asking ‘What’s happening, what’s wrong with me, where am I?’. 

He trips over and tried to get up, but rises screaming screaming as an alligator lunges out towards him, it’s enormous maw stretching into infinity in front of him. He can smell the swamp and falls into deep dark water as he struggles to get up. He’s fighting the water which is pulling him down as black shapes, gators surround him and snap at him. He realizes he’s back in Florida, back in the swamps he came from. 

Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, he needs them as he starts to drown... above him he sees a light, a bright light, he kicks towards it... slowly then faster and faster as his lungs are fit to burst from not breathing, Boom, he surfaces like a barrel from under water! He’s there! He’s at his happy place! He’s at Burger King! 

Suddenly he is ravenously hungry. Still soaking wet he rushes across an empty parking lot and bursts into the restaurant. It’s full of wrestlers from the past. Jobbers from the good old days, men he barely recognized, he pushes past them screaming, “I’m the champ, I’m the champ, let me through!”, he reaches the counter. “Five double whoppers and a diet jumbo Pepsi, yes I want fries.” 

He waits and waits, forever and ever it seems, will the waiting never end, and then it’s finally there. His Burger King, his happy place! He reaches for a Whopper but a huge hand over his shoulder slaps it away. OMG, it’s the Game! It’s HHH! “You’ll never be anything more than swamp scum if you don’t get a grip, fat boy!” He sees the restaurant spinning around him, spinning faster and faster and suddenly he’s in a tv studio! The back stage area! 

It’s the final seasonof Tough Enough! OMG the Yeti is sucking HHH’s cock! Sara Lee is being double teamed by Vince and a Kevin Dunn! Velveteen Dream is showing his cock to children over the internet! He feels sick and starts vomiting. 

Except he’s not vomiting food.

The Miz starts off and takes Giant Gonzales to the corner. Giant Gonzales runs over him with a big shoulder tackle. Giant Gonzales takes control on the floor now. Giant Gonzales tears up the kendo stick and takes The Miz to the announcers table. The Miz counters and shoves Giant Gonzales face first into the ring post. The Miz pulls a ladder from under the ring but Giant Gonzales superkicks it into his face. Giant Gonzales brings it back in the ring and throws The Miz shoulder first into the ring post. Giant Gonzales goes to work on The Miz's arm now.

The Miz turns it around and staggers Giant Gonzales. More back and forth. The Miz nails a dropkick and Giant Gonzales goes down. Giant Gonzales keeps control and brings a ladder in the ring. He also brings two steel chairs in. Giant Gonzales props the ladder up on top of the two chairs. Giant Gonzales nails a sideslam and covers for a 2 count. Giant Gonzales lays The Miz on top of the ladder and goes to the second rope. Giant Gonzales goes to hit a big splash but The Miz moves and Giant Gonzales crashes through the ladder. The Miz covers for a 2 count. The Miz works Giant Gonzales over to the apron and this time nails a top rope draping DDT. Giant Gonzales kicks out at 2.

They go back to the floor and The Miz smacks Giant Gonzales in the back with a chair several times. Giant Gonzales rolls back in the ring and The Miz follows with the chair. The Miz hits Giant Gonzales in the chest with the chair. The Miz goes for another shot but Giant Gonzales spears him. The Miz with a kick to the face and he nails him with a steel chair. The Miz waits for Giant Gonzales to get up. The Miz looks around and hears the voices. The Miz brings back the punt kick and nails Giant Gonzales in the head with it. The Miz covers for the win.

WINNER: THE MIZ 

BACK TO THE HEAD OF YAKUZZA....

His head is spinning again as he sees lines and lines of cocaine in front of Miz whole Hogan is thrown out by Booker T screaming “I’m gonna kill you ni**er!” Again he vomits emojis

He wakes up in hospital. His room is dark but he sees a shining figure! It’s Jerry Jarrett! He’s got a pen and a piece of paper. “SIGN HERE KID!”, he hears and he signs... it all goes black...

WE SEE STEVE RYDER leaving the building with his two wives. He looks back and smiles. Before he enters the limo he yells, ‘I hope Yakuzza enjoyed his bottle of spirits -- tell him I’m coming back to take that title in 2 weeks.

BACK TO YAKUZZA....

Eat it, eat it, he hears... a figure looms above him. It’s Robert Gibson, holding a roasted chicken leg! Except it’s not a chicken leg! It’s the leg of a small child! No, that’s not right, it’s a dwarf leg! He puked again! He wants his gators! A magical force pulls him up! A godlike being has appeared riding a rocket leaving a trail of rainbows! It’s GODBOLD and the rocket is flying straight at him! Boom, he’s lying on his back, having jobbed to GODBOLD!

His head aches! A hand comes into view, he cowers from the blow to come! But no blow, just a friendly hand pulling him up! It’s Lex, his best friend helping him up! It’s alright kid, I’ll help you! And an angel appears from the sky smiling and shining, it’s Juanita, his love! Why is she showing her tits to Lex?

What happened to Taurtis’ parents

Never had them. Any adult that even looked at him, he’d become INCREDIBLY EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED TO. 

The Yakuzza leader, Yuki’s father. I don’t know what happened but Taurtis decided that the guy was his dad now, too. and was UPSET WHEN THEY KILLED HIM. despite the fact that he A: WAS A MOB LEADER. and B: wanted them dead, and got them in several shootouts. 

He decided Pufferfish Pete was his brother, and i think I remember him constantly telling Sam off when he’d be mad with his own dad, Stanly. 

Taurtis basically seemed to have raised himself, and been raised partially with Sam. Nothing about his actual parents were never mentioned.

Pufferfish Pete’s thing was having. lots and lots of children. and then selling them, killing them, or using them as medicine. he’d just hand out pufferfish to anyone who’d take them. 

Taurtis would get VISIBLY UPSET at how Pete would treat his own kids. He also made himself the uncle of Pufferfish Patty, the only kid Pete ever kept past adolescence. 

in short? the man has daddy issues. i love him. Please, he deserved better. he’s see an adult in the town and IMMEDIATELY either fuck with them and prank them, or become incredibly emotionally attached and crave a familial bond with.

Character developement

One of the things I just love about Skam, is the character developements. Each season one character seems to have an issue, or something they have to learn how to deal with. I think that Isak has had the most impressive character developement, but I want to mention all our main characters so far. Noora and Eva have also made some huge changes. I sometimes wonder why some fans think that Sana is going to be some unchangable superhero from the beginning to end. In my eyes one of her issues is that she ignores herself and focuses on others. Her big lesson is to learn to focus on herself. And I love that we get to see that. Here are some of the character developement we have seen so far, and that I hope for (I have written parts of this in an earlyer post):

Eva

In season 1, Eva learns how to take charge in her life, and be more independent. She gets stronger from these experiences and learns to be less judgemental, and to take a leap of trust and let someone come near her. She learns to give people a chance before she judges them. In season 3, Noora has left William, but it`s difficult to see how she takes it. She seems to show more of herself, like the fact that she loves Justin Bieber. In season 4, we learn that she has kept to herself that she didn`t manage to witness against Nico, and that she has left William, because she feared he didn`t love her anymore. She hasn`t talked to him. So, Noora has come a long way, but she still struggles with communication when everything gets bad. She reaches out to Sana.

Via hints we understand that he gets enough of his "crazy" mother, and runs from home. Noora and Eva suspects that he is gay. Eskild finds him one night, drunk at a gay bar, and takes care of him. Lets him stay in the basement of the Collective. 

In the beginning of season 3, Isak has become a cocky charmer on the outside, while he still is as lonely and self loathing on the inside. He seems to be making out with girls at parties, and wants to be cool, but he is also clumsy and keeps a lot to himself. He has stopped talking to his mother, because she is “crazy”. He struggles with his sexuality, but has prejudices against homosexuality. He meets Even, that he gets curious about, and he starts to admit that he is gay (I`m not gay, or maybe a little gay). This is a difficult process for him, mostly because he believes that Even has gone back to his girlfriend. After good (but weird) advise from the school “doctor”, he finally dares to talk to Jonas, and tell him about his feelings. This is a huge developement. Through support from his friends, he gradually learns to become more honest about his feelings and who he is. He comes out to his friends and dares to let himself fall in love with Even. Then he learns of Even`s bipolar disorder, and he is lead to believe that Even has no feelings for him, and that he`s just manic. Isak`s first reaction is to withdraw, and give Even up. Luckily, Magnus helps him to see the normality of Even`s disorder. In the end of season 3 he  decides to live real and not fake, like he has done before. He also learns to come over his fear and judgement towards psychiatric difficulties. Isak is a smart kid, he listens, and he learns. And he grows so much. He choses Even, and choses to take one minute at the time. "Livet er nå.“ In season 4 he is still this smart kid. Even if he is worried about Even and curious about his story and about Mikael, he doesn`t seem to jump to conclusions and run away, like he would have done some months ago. And he waits for Even to tell him, if he feels like it.

Sana

Sana has stayed rather consistent through the first three seasons. She has appeared as a smart, tough girl who takes no nonsense. She is observant,  intuitive, and compassionate, and she knows almost everything. She is very protective about the ones she loves. It has been hinted that she likes to fix things, and she has fixed a lot for her friends. She can be controlling in that he or she takes to planning and organizing well in advance and will often make decisions single-handedly. But she has had little focus on her own troubles or needs. She is also a girl who`s used to being right, and she finds it difficult to admit when she`s wrong. She might have a tendency to dismiss others’ opinions, sometimes even before they have a chance to listen to the other party. But she`s learning.

In this fourth season we see her point of view, but she still bosses around and fixes things for others. She hasn`t come to her changing point just yet. But we get to see more of her "soft side", both her love of her family, her love interest Yousef, and her friends (so far this season mostly Even, Isak and Noora). And she can be so soft! This isn`t a developement, I think, it`s just a side of her we haven`t seen as often before. I Guess Sana will learn to find a balance in her personality, still being who she is but also being able to open up to others and express her troubles and needs. That would be nice.

 Hopes for other characters:

Yousef: I hope he finds his peace with his beliefs or none beliefs somehow. And deep in my heart I hope he and Sana finds a way to love each other. If it`s possible. But not a cheap or easy solution, please. And I would love to see him dance some more!

Vilde: I hope Vilde accepts herself and stops caring so much about what others think of her. That she stops being fake. Yeah, I know, that`s not easy. But maybe she can learn how to focus more on her friends and their worries instead?

Even: I hope Even finds the strength to tell Isak the things he feels he should tell him about his background (if he doesn´t have the need to tell Isak about what happened at Bakka, he should just keep it to himself, but it seems like he needs to share it, even if he`s scared). Even is afraid of scaring Isak, and this is partly because of Isak, because he got scared when Even told him about losing someone being the only ways for something to last forever. But Isak isn`t the same kid now, he can take it, and I hope Even learns to trust him.

Jonas: I would like to see Jonas admitting to Eva that he isn`t as sure of himself as she perceived him when they were together. That he sometimes feels like he lost both Eva and Isak, and he misses them. But maybe it`s just my romantic heart talking, because, let`s face it, Jonas is mostly just chill.

Chris: I would love to see Chris as more than a funny sidekick. I know that Ina probably doesn`t have time to do that many scenes, but she could at least get one scene where she shows another side of herself. Please! Everybody that are  overweigth aren`t funny, you know. I am overweight, I am not funny, and I need representation too!

Magnus: He should just stay like he is. In my head he`s bi (I mean, the way he looked at Even...), but if he is, he accepts it already.

Ingrid: What if Ingrid pulls her head out of her ass and asks Eva if they can spend more time again, or something? I mean, they aren`t enemies anymore, are they? Ingrid was really good to Eva when she came to Oslo. I think there`s hope for that friendship.

Mahdi: He is just a cool guy, it doesn`t seem like he has any big issues. But I`d love to see more of him, maybe he can come with som wise words like in the last season.

Sara: Sara, Sara, Sara. She has made out with William in season 1, Isak in season 2, and Chris in season 2. She might be a good girl, but she might hate Noora for taking William, Isak for telling people about her giving him a BJ in the toilet, Eva for taking Chris from her, and Sana for taking her boss title. But again, she might also just be a good girl that has bad luck with men. I would love to find out! And if she HAS been a bitch, I would love to see her change. I really don`t want her to kiss Yousef!!!!!!

Mikael: Well, I´d like to see him as more than a cute boy with big, bad issues in the background. He might be gay, or not, we really don`t know anything about it yet, maybe we`ll never know. We know he is religous. And that he still drinks alcohol. He should probably have a talk with Even (I get if we don`t get to actually see that). I hope he works it out. And I would love to see him dance.

Elias: I`d love to see him talking to Sana about what troubles him. He is supposed to be religous, but he drinks alcohol. He comes from a wealthy home, but is unemployed. Something bothers him. And of course I hope that he and the other Bakka boys make up with Even somehow. 

Eskild: He has been himself from the beginning, and that`s just beautiful. I just want to see him before this season is over! He doesn`t need to change at all. Well, if he really wants a lasting relationship (I´m not sure if he`s there yet), he should meet someone that helps him believe in love again (he has been a little cynical so far).

Linn: I would love to se happy Linn, but I guess we won`t. No, but I really would love that. Or maybe Isak could tell her to go talk to someone, or something. That would be nice.

 Yeah, I think that`s it. Not too, much for six episodes, is it? lol
