Birthday reflections

18 ( August 2013), was a mess. Spent it with ex bff. -10/10

19 (August 2014) threw a huuuuge party in DC that was ehhh somewhat cool mostly stressful. Aftermath was a little heavy the woman wanted to sue me over some blinds. Chile please the clean up was too much throw up everywhere some bitch wrote on the wall etc. I didnt reeeeakky enjoy the party due to trying to keep it under control LOL. There is a lesson in this somewhere. 7/10

20 August 2015 some random hotel with ex best friend 2/10

21, August 2016 rented an airbnb with ex best friend that we ended up getting kicked out of before 12 due to the cameras planted around the house. Some people put up $$ to get a hotel to not end the night. Someone then stole all the cash I had in my purse. I had to cancel my hair appointment that following day. None of it was worth the hassle -10/10

22 August 2017 I cant remember what I did dont think I did much besides lunch with my mother and ex best friend. 0/10

23 August 2018 Dinner with my mother, not much of anything out of the ordinary. 10/10

24 August 2019 Brunch at Gryphons, I got soooo drunk. We all did damn near. 0/10 But I was gifted my dog Jasper! Best gift to date.

25 August 2020 Rented a pontoon boat for my birthday with a bunch of friends in Ocean City! I genuinely enjoyed that birthday from start to finish. Definitely one I will remember.

26 August 2021 Dinner with Gigi + V, Prevace gave me a gift as well! My father gave me his old iPad. Okay birthday

27 August 2022 MEXICO trip, BEST GIFT I ever gave myself. Rented a yacht and all that! That trip (besides me and Gigi's petty ass arguments) was SO LIT! I had such a great time. Tulum + Cancun will definitely be seeing me again! Our cab driving was listening to Tony Shhnow. We met up with Messi and her girlfriend, I enjoyed that dinner! The excursions we went on were cool too. Overall I enjoyed it.

As 28 is approaching fast... I dont really want to do much but more reflecting lolol

Maybe a trip to the spa but that can wait... maybe I'll take myself in September. I'm just in awe of how far I have come mentally + emotionally. I really came a long way + still going strong! I was very careless + reckless in the company I kept prior to TODAY.

The company you keep is a major reflection on you regardless of how much you positively impact the herd. One bad seed can TARNISH the entire crop. This isn't said with regrets, everything I endured was a lesson I will always remember in the eye of any storm.

I don't regret anything but abandoning myself in the form of escapism. But I do understand why I ran so much from reality & it's okay. Better to understand the pattern of what triggers it then to be aware and still run around ignorantly.

Especially with the discovery of Human Design, I cannot lose!

I think Jon Kortajarena introduced Seb and Ale, probably at a party (lol, it seems to be all JK does, a lot of networking) Perhaps they were messaging each other while in Covid lockdown. Hopefully, Seb didn’t send nudes given her handling of a past boyfriend’s photos, lol. Anyway, his agency and her people approved and set the yacht thing up and they seemed legit happy in those first photos in July 2020, as they hammed it up for the camera. The photos were definitely PR—he went along with it because he knew her and was a horny middle aged man stuck in NYC alone for months, she did it for exposure and fun. What she was doing there on that yacht with him doesn’t seem much different than how she usually spends her time. Maybe he looked progressively more and more sullen in PR pics (like in Tulum) as time went on because he didn’t want to do the pap walks very much but she really wanted to. Who knows? They continue to work with paps when Seb has something to promote. I feel like they both are benefiting from the exposure, though Seb seems like a more private person than Ale and less enthused about pap walks until the stuff from his birthday. Both of them had significant increases in followers on Instagram after each “sighting”. Not sure if Ale has gotten any work out of this though? This is a long winded way of saying they are real (though it may be more real for one of them than the other) and also using their relationship for PR.

It’s him at least covering his face walking away from her while she’s roaming free in the midst of COVID 😂 if we all really and I mean really take a step back, that alone is more reflective of this being a setup than it being real. Homeboy was very conscious of being safe and cognizant and telling his fans to do the same at the beginning of COVID. Do I think he should’ve put his foot down and said I’m not traveling 100%, but do I think when you have to follow the money, ESPECIALLY when you have struggled for it in the past, you’ll do what you have to do. Yes. Especially when he was just traveling for work, I’m sure he was likely the safest person on the island after having to be tested regularly for work. This video to me shows it’s another acting gig for Sebby and when he stepped out of the water in his mind “and cut” was called by the director and he headed back to his trailer to rest lmao.

Listen I totally hold him accountable for the traveling. He should have said no. I mean he had to have some sort of say right? He should have said no, especially how he preached in March. In May an article came out of him saying he won’t leave NY until it’s over, and a lite more than a month later he is on a yacht in Spain... uh hello???

But yes, at least he had his mask there, especially since Tulum was really bad at that time and had a lot of super spreader parties right around the time they were there

In Mamitas Beach there is wave runners that can be hire to get on board a yacht on its shores. Master Harbor doesn’t allow us to get people on board a yacht from Playa Mamitas beach without the help of a waverunner or jet ski, for safety reasons.

To go to Holbox on a yacht it is better to depart from Cancun, as on yacht from Cancun is a 3 hours ride, while on sail boat can be much more. It’s recommended to stay in Holbox for the night and taste it’s out of this world gastronomy. Food in Holbox is every time getting richer and tastier. Stay more night if able. If it’s whale shark season, going to Holbox is a must.

By the way, we’ve also got Playa del Carmen whale shark yacht tours. You can take a yacht in Playa del Carmen and go to Holbox or Contoy island but it would take several hours. It takes 7 hours to get there and can be bad for you if you are not a long-trips person.

🗓️ 11/20/20 // Why go to Bali?

Well, why not. No better place to surround myself than with people doing the exact same thing for their own personal journey—for various reasons. I know it’ll be different from the backpacker life—with no tourism coming to the country and no way to travel to others. But that’s not the point for me in this time in my life.

The reason I’m taking this leap is to reset in a place known for its transformative energy, to sit still and breathe, to continue my upward journey based on the beautiful and painful builds that transformed me over the Summer, to give myself space to focus on finishing a book I’ve dreamed about writing, and to pursue the expansion plans that I have behind it—with a goal to empower others. With an open mind and heart, I embrace what is next to come. And then to return back to my home, New York City.

Why Now?

To set this up, back in September 2019, I decided to not renew my lease ending in March 2020 and to move everything to storage; and I’d take my remote working job (I run my own business as a social media marketing consultant) and travel Europe (with home base being London). But as COVID-19 hit, I lost 90% of my clients, which were mostly restaurants, and I ended up traveling to the West Coast for a different type of journey, which focused on personal healing. Instead of exploring the world, I took a step back and explored my own self—spiritually, emotionally, etc.

I then came back to NYC in Oct/Nov 2020 to visit friends I couldn’t see during Quarantine. While there, I started to internally panic thinking about Round 2 Quarantine and where to base myself during this Winter. After reaching out to different connections about the possibility of heading to Tulum, Mexico, for two months, Christina, whom I met through my Yacht Week 2018 crew and partied with once two years ago, informed me that Bali is allowing people to apply for e-Visas via visa agencies.

Given the synchronicities of what happened around making that decision, from randomly connecting back with Christina (who happens to have made a career change as a Digital Nomad Coach and will also be my roommate during this adventure) to meeting Sarah, the founder of SafetyWing, at a house party, who helped me figure out my travel insurance directly, to picking up a new retainer client (who fully supports my path even if I will not be in USA while doing the work)...it became clear that Bali was the right answer. And within weeks, I secured my e-Visa to go to Bali for 6 months.
