i'll listen to some version of some album for good measure not even so much as dutiful research as "yeah i liked the music haha yaaayyy" and i just am generally like "listening to the music what in the?" so knocking back any album is like, probably me firing up the goosebumps the musical phantom of the auditorium original screen cast recording playlist again, hell yes

anyways what i remember. first of all you understand that for a while all i Really specifically knew about little shop, beyond that it existed and had a joie de vivre & je ne sais quoi & the plant, was that there was the dentist song. thanks to marble hornets (that i knew even this). and i knew Just this. so for a good decade i've at least been able to hum the chorus to myself like (be a dentist) you have a talent for causing things Pain (pain!) and i love a bicuspid lyric usage, don't tell joe iconis (imperfect rhyme)

amazed when i did hear it like i've never heard this titular song?? it's so fun. i guess i wouldn't have unless i was experiencing little shop of horrors. but now here we are like i sure remember that one. i also really enjoy The Sound of the chorus of some fun now, both the melody and prosody of it. likewise so high energy and catchy and that juxtaposes so humorously with recalling our montage of rick moranis pouting while getting sucked (the '80s gum lsoh movie novelty stickers ranked by rick moranis's sex appeal text post scrolls by at half opacity while i voice over "a tremendously boneable ricky m") which brings me to one of the most memorable parts of the feed me song being like okay really long list of "what is going on in lsoh metaphor wise (speculated or stated as intended Or as interpreted): for one, sex with the plant" like i do truly appreciate that list just as i truly appreciate someone making a post about which rick moranises are hottest in the vintage gum stickers

i saw indeed the "this is kind of sing speaking as i remember? does it count?" number seems to indeed be a song, da-doo? which works out b/c i sure recall enjoying the doo-wop style backup echoing that sing speaking, speak singing. and of course it being really funny and itself just so B movie and lord like of course choreographed in acting And cinematography and that's so powerful in juxtaposition like grabbing directors Make Your Movie Musical Have The Movieness Work With The Musicalness anyways thanks frank oz obviously. and speaking of being able to see it, is it somewhere that's green that has that like Surburbia Fantasy sequence because that was soooo fucking funny lmfao they crushed that thank god. annnnd. suppertime sequence standing out being so like No Jokes ominous & harrowing for a scene? great to have that, greatly executed. umm he sure Does look like plant food to me, is another musical moment i remember even as that was earlier and of course i remember it due to Effect like exactly, i'm there. it's like the elevation and method of expression that is A Song has effect and it pwns

Grandpa LJ! Grandpappy! Grandpopeino! Guess what! I just go back from Pride today and it was awesome! Everyone was so nice and I got free hugs and dino stickers and I was kinda scared that someone was going to say something about my demi flag but everyone was really cool and accepting of it and I just felt so loved and like I belonged somewhere and it was one of the best feelings of my life! Also, thank you for making me feel like I could belong in the first place, you're amazing!

Yaaayyy!!!!

In the world of something going right, I bought a nice Galaxy Tab, open box from Best Buy!! I’m pretty psyched--it’s got a nice display and a great camera!! I’ll be able to take good pictures, and I haven’t gotten to play with it on wifi, but I might be able to upload pictures to Instagram (although last time I tried on an Android tablet, I couldn’t =/ but it’s worth trying again). I’m excited to have a device that will take good pictures of my charms.

Another idea I’ve been playing with is making a portfolio that can double as a catalogue. I’m thinking a zine is a really good format. I’m pondering getting one of those pocket printers, especially because there’s a sticker paper option, which means I could manually photoshop my zine/catalogues together and make copies available to people who are interested in buying my charms, or maybe for stores who I might be able to interest in my charms..... I know I’m thinking a little ahead, getting a little over-excited.

If nothing else, it would be nice for me to keep a physical catalogue for my reference, and possibly a second copy for people who want to have something unique made for them.

Anyway, I know what my partner’s mom is going to say about me getting a tablet with my tax return, even though I’m justifying it for the camera, so the reason I’m not playing with it right now is that it’s still in the truck. I’m going to bring it in later all low-key like. Tomorrow, I’m probably going to get a screen protector for it, if there’s one in the store, and probably some kind of case for it, if I can find one.

OHMYGAD HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN THAT 18in Galaxy thing they’re calling a tablet but it’s totally a full-on touch computer?!!??!!? *screaming* I kind of want one, but I also feel like if I wait, they’ll come out with something even cooler when I actually have a place to put it n.n

We went to job center today. They didn’t really have any advice, but luckily that job center has most of the community resources in the same building, so they referred my partner and me to an office that wasn’t open tomorrow, but if we wanted to go again tomorrow, would be open for a couple hours tomorrow and Thursday.

That’s all I’ve got as far as resources. I guess they don’t appear to have much by way of....idk rerouting my education or whatever. They have someone we can make an appointment with to make a plan....

Sooooooooooo...........well, I should do some more painting. Seriously, I can sculpt charms day in, day out, but I can’t sell them till they’ve had some paint put on them. I’m thinking about making the first twenty or thirty (whatever it takes to get that palmful photo) strawberries the “right” color, and then making another twenty or thirty of colorful strawberries, maybe a pastel rainbow collection. Actually, I think before that--well, idk never mind maybe, since I want to take the photo before I start selling charms and I want to be able to sell the strawberries.... I was going to say, before I make more strawberries for the sake of taking pictures, I should sculpt more of the ideas that are piling up. I started making a visual checklist and the first page is almost filled with little thumbnails. Soon I’ll have to start a second page and the first page isn’t even fulfilled.....*sigh*

So I guess the question is, do I sculpt another ten or twenty charms to try to accomplish that look right away, or do I try sculpting other stuff real quick (ugh, real quick is either an awful idea or not very quick)? I think I just answered my question. If I finish sculpting enough strawberries, I can finally fulfill this visual curiosity that’s got me so hung up, and then I can move on with my life. But then I have to paint them....well, I have to paint my charms anyway, so I might as well get a move on. And then I can move on to my next curiosity.
