I'm feminine as fuck in my household. I mother the kids, help their emotional development, work on my wife's emotional and mental well-being, and I'm the one never in the mood for sex. House of the Dragon 2x3 episode reaction. I have alot of thoughts, bare with me.

The episode was eh but that's mostly just because it's the calm before the proverbial shitstorm.

BAELA “I COULD SMELL BITCH FROM A MILE AWAY AND IT'S ON SIGHT” TARGARYEN, HOW I LOVE YOU!! MOONDANCER IS BEAUTIFUL! MY BRAVE GIRL DID HER THING. IKTR POOKIE!! HER SASSING RHAENYRA, 10S across the board. I know Rhaenyra is tired 😩

I'll always feel for Rhaena, she finally was able to speak although, I wanted more dialogue from her, it's fuckin owed atp HBO, but you could feel her resentment, her anger and her frustration during her scenes. I feel so bad for her cause the only people that are really looking out for her are Rhaenys and Baela. Daemon don't give af, Rhaenyra is trying to find a balance between being a mother and queen but you could see that there is a distance between her and Rhaena even though she lived with them instead of on Driftmark with Rhaenys. When Rhaena first accepted the “mission” and walked off you could tell Rhaenyra wanted to tell her something but it looks like she doesn't know how to talk to her, which is fuckin sad. So those headcanons of her probably only having her brothers to talk to and Luke by extension makes her situation even worse. The glass child fr. So she's most definitely claiming a dragon this season and honestly good on her. Although if they do write Nettles out I'm gonna be pissed. That scene with Baela and her warmed my heart though. Another thing Rhaenyra totally brushing her feelings aside and being like my sons, my sons, my sons is totally not helping her character either. I'm honestly mad they fumbled the majority of the team black relationship dynamics. Rhaena going to ward is literally foreshadowing her future in the dance so I'm not mad at her, she did become everything Rhaenyra wanted her to be, was literally the last of the Targaryen's future and history before Dany came along. I know one thing though they better give her Morning idgaf what they gotta do. That is one important part of the plot I won't forgive if they rewrite it.

Honestly I don't give a damn who gets pissed but fuck Corlys. I said what I said and I'm not taking it back. I don't ever want to hear another “Rhaenyra and her bastard boys usurped Rhaena and Baela”, Corlys is just as misogynistic as the rest of the men in the realm. In the books the succession of the Driftmark throne was up in the air but they rewrited it in the show and yes Baela and Rhaena didn't have a claim to it cause Laenor was Corlys firstborn in the show and he did legitimize his boys but he had an opportunity to make Rhaena Lady of the Tides, she would've been either way had she married Luke as intended but he didn't and you wanna know why? Take a guess, exactly. It goes without saying. I understand him not naming Joff, he's heir to the throne in case anything happens to Jace but he could've named Rhaena and he didn't. So fuck him. Also foreshadowing for the end of the dance.

I wish y'all could've heard the long drawn out exhale that I let out knowing we gotta be see Larys Clubfoot ( the old man was so real for that name 🤣🤣😭😭🤣) more on my television screen. So Crispin, Clubfoot and Gwayne and Aegon, I can't win. Battle of the incels and they're failing upward while we lose 💔. I'm sick. The only thing I like about Gwayne is him irritating crybaby Cole and immediately clocking that there's something going on with him and Alicent. He's messy, I could appreciate that.

Young Rhaenyra was a nice little surprise even though the context for the scene was dark. Daemon getting his death notice in Harrenhal (also foreshadowing) and his dream sequence was peak if you ask me.

I need Rhaenys to never ever in her life speak on Luke's name again. I understand what she was trying to say but even having the audacity to insinuate that it's Luke's fault the war even started cause he took Aemond's eye (he was literally trying to protect his brother and her granddaughters) and that Otto and Weak King Vizzy T council wasn't planning to usurp and kill Rhaenyra from the start is blasphemy to the highest degree. Her clocking Rhaenyra's council was good though. The men in this show are just so ughhhhh. Why did they give Rhaena and Rhaenys an off screen goodbye when she was one of the most important people in her life and especially since she's gonna y'know...

Helaena telling Alicent she forgives her is so gonna hurt when we remember in future episodes. This is gonna greatly contribute to Alicent's suffering especially when Helaena goes off the deep end. She's going to realize she had a hand in destroying one of the purest and greatest things in her life and we the viewers are gonna be hurt.

Didn't expect to get a full blown view of Aemond hanging out but okay I guess. There he goes again not addressing his problems (his bum ass older brother, his nuisance, his bane of his existence) and going to take it out in somebody else though 🥱.

Sept Rhaenyra had the same energy as Arryk pretending to be Erryk and you can't convince me otherwise. I know they were gonna do a reunion between the two but Rhae still trying to be a pacifist and not knocking Alicent's head about even a little bit was stupid to me. She literally tormented her and her children for years! What more was there to say? Get in the field Rhaenyra!! Do you guys really think Alicent didn't know Viserys wasn't talking about her son Aegon? Let's all bffr for a second. She knew and they wanna chalk up the entire dance to it being a mistake is rather irritating. Alicent being prideful and can't admit to her wrongdoings even after the fact that Rhaenyra told her the prophecy is not in the least bit surprising. It just cheapens the outlook on the whole “Dance of the dragons” honestly.

I hate the fact that the writers spun the show into an Alicent vs Rhaenyra situation when the whole gist of season 1 and the books was Rhaenyra vs Misogyny. Women not being allowed to rule because they're women y'know.

In terms of screen writing HOTD IS WEAK and I'm blaming the writers for not reading the source material before putting pen to paper. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying they can't rewrite certain stuff, it's a given with the limited amount of episodes per season, sometimes you do need new plots to shock the viewers and you can't really get into everything but at certain points it's downright ridiculous. Spinning the conflict into a misunderstanding is stupid and I stand by that.

Thanksgiving with the Madrigals!

Just some funny drama, skits, and wholesome things.

Kitchen drama!

Julieta is cooking of course 😋 👌 😌. (*Camilo trying to sneak food but gets popped with a hand to spoon*)

Dolores is the ears to make sure nothing crazy happens mostly to keep Camilo from eating food before its done. Her and Isabella helping cut vegetables and season while Juileta cooks it, she also seasons the food.

Agustin wants to help but he makes a mess (he hurts himself from cutting his fingers, stubbing his toe, and burning himself and his wife heals him he goes with the fellas to do something so he doesn'thurt himself again)

Mirabel planning out everything her, Camilo argue over him doing something wrong like not setting the table right to her catching him slacking on the job (she caught him eating food he snuck out the kitchen under a table or in a closet he has his face stuffed with food looking like a deer in head lights 😆 🤣.)

Antonio is playing with the animals and helping too. Watches cartoons with his dad and tio Bruno with the rat who are eating food in the corner with Camilo.

Lusia help Isabella pick the vegetables and fruits needed, and move tables & chairs around. Helped her mother with cooking too. Her and Isabella help mirabel too from flowers to the guest list.

Pepa and Felix make sure Camilo doesn't eat anything..again.

Pepa and Felix entertain the people with Bruno who has his rat do a performance.

Fights again but this time Camilo and his brother Carlos (just pretend he's in the family I added him in) are fighting over a girl & food...again. the boys fight like it's WWE smack down.

Afterwards they calm down, Carlos tried to help In the kitchen but burned the pie (4 of them) which means he has to in the living since Abulea doesn't want the new Casita to burn down.

Antonio plays with the animals and helps make another pie & does well, he also made cake with mirabel and so he did great.

Eating contest/ fun

Camilo wins the pie eating contest as always. He and Carlos made it into a tie for the last slice.

Camilo entertains others with Carlos with Bruno. Mirabel playing the accordion singing with the others.

They enjoy tales and partying having fun, they have family members coming just to get a plate and leave.

Camilo fixes a 5th plate when no one was looking. (Got caught by Bruno fixes a plate putting extra Mac & cheese eating while fixing the plate) A family member brought their wife over and she made casserole with raisins in it. (Poor Julieta fainted, everyone was sick even Camilo who'd eat anything almost threw up)

Someone said Pepa's corn bread was a little dry (poor fella caught hell. Camilo & Carlos almost choked and Bruno had to intervene before he got hurt, and Felix had to hold her back and Julieta calmed her too)

J2 Gold Panel DC Con 2023

To start off the panel Jared notices that a fan's shirt says the only thing they're putting jeans and boots on for this weekend is food, whiskey, and Jensen Ackles, and he says he takes his jeans off for Jensen...sir in front of everyone 👀

First question comes from a fan who got them candy but Jensen throws Jared's so Jared has to go get them 😆 For anyone confused this is because the fan got Jared Twizzlers since he said he liked them at the last con but Jensen doesn't like them and prefers red vines.

What snacks do they eat when watching the football game?

Jensen answers chips and salsa.

Jared says he has a funny story, when they worked together they did an ep about a lucky penny, and one Sunday Tom Welling who was still doing Smallville went over and they did a BBQ, and Tom brought some family salad recipe that had Doritos in it and some maui ribs and some other stuff, so they eat then a couple days later Jared comes home late from work or something and he's a little hungry so he goes to the fridge and sees the Maui ribs that Tom had brought over. He snacked on them, went to bed, and didn't realize until the next morning that the ribs had been raw. I literally screamed when he said this, as y'all can guess he was dog sick.

And Jensen says the problem is that Jared didn't realize they were uncooked until he asked him about them! They lived together at the time so Jensen got home looking for the ribs cause he wanted to cook them and when he asked Jared about them Jared replied he ate them well he knows Jared and he knows he isn't going to fire up the grill when he's hungry he just eats but he still asks how he cooked them, and that's when Jared tells him he didn't cook them he just ate them.

How do you make a mistake like this??? 😭

So, poor Jared is sick as a dog, and the next day they're filming in Squamish, the whole ride there he's trying not to throw up. He gets there, they look at him, and send him to his trailer. Then they call a nurse to give him a shot of vitamin B and some other stuff so most of the coverage of them when they're in the booth talking to each other when Jensen is talking it's not to him he was in his trailer for like 8hrs throwing up and with diarrhea.

Jensen says he was like "I don't want him projectile vomiting unto me, get him out off here and get a stand in and put a wig on the guy."

Then he jokes that he realized how much better the experience is so for the next 8 seasons he didn't work with the guy and Jared quips but they still lived together. x

Something interesting is that Jensen says they were roommates for all of s4, but Jared says 5 as well and Jensen's like no, it was only one season but that if Jared wants to stretch it into 2 that's fine and Jared goes 4 to 12. Like seasons 4 to 12. And I just find it a very interesting exchange especially Jared's reaction when Jensen tries to deny that they lived together for more than one season he throws his hands up and goes 'fine, fine' like how one does when you know someone is lying about something or remembering incorrectly but you're not gonna argue with them about it.

If they could give each other stripper or porn names what would they be?

Jensen and I had the same confusion cause we both thought this person was saying board games 🤣

Jensen first understood board games, then it was porn games and he was like who ordered an extra sausage on their pizza to which Jared raises his hand and Jensen goes "it's a spicy meatball" and Jared replies "two of them". 😂

Jared says Moosetacular has a certain je ne sais quoi and Jensen says Mooseknuckle. Jensen asks if there isn't a certain formula to figure out your porn name and the fans give different answers but Jared says they're doing the name of their first pet and the name of the street they grew up on so he is Booty Montclair. That's actually fantastic. And Jensen is Pudgy Midway. x

Did Jared ever get his knee fixed?

Jared says no but he's there and loving it. He's treating it with physical therapy and rehabbing it. Jensen says Jared is learning to live with it much like he did with him. And can I just say he does not look happy he even kind of cuts Jared off when he's finishing answering the question and picks out the next fan to ask something. I think he wishes Jared would take care of it which is understandable, he's probably worried about him, but I gotta say I understand where Jared is coming from for not having the surgery sometimes the remedy is worse than the sickness. x

Is cereal a soup?

Jared says no. Jensen says technically yeah, it's just grain soup, or multigrain soup.

Jared says that you cook soup but the crowd points out gazpacho which is an uncooked, cold soup.

Jensen says he doesn't know if there are milk-based soups, there is cream sometimes in soup but it's traditionally in a broth base, there has to be some sort of broth but someone mentions clam chowder and that has a cream base so Jensen says the fan is right.

Jared asks the fan what they think and they say it is a soup like a hot dog is a sandwich and that's when he loses the crowd and also Jensen who says no. And Jared pats Jensen's chest to calm him down. x

How often do they think about the Roman Empire?

They both know they're being asked this for a reason but Jared doesn't know what the reason is, Jensen does because he had been asked this the previous night for the first time. He answers several times a week. But he hadn't thought about that until he was asked.

Jared says he doesn't think about it unless maybe if he's in Rome but Jeensen tells him to think about all the things that he does think about that are related to the Roman empire so he might not even realize that he's thinking about it.

For context, the reason they were asked about this is because it's a TikTok trend right now to ask men how often they think about the Roman Empire because apparently, men think about the Roman Empire a lot. x

Have they ever been star-struck meeting another celeb?

Jensen says Jared is a big fan of Pearl Jam, and they went to a charity concert where the lead singer of the band, Eddie Vedder was performing and they got the chance to meet him, after he played, in a very intimate setting probably no more than the people in the room at that moment. So they walk up and someone introduces them, and Jared just stiffens up and Jensen's trying to play it cool, and Eddie in true rock and roll fashion is smoking a cigarette. Jared, who does not smoke, asks if he can get a drag of the cigarette, Jensen just turns to look at him, and Eddie slowly hands him the cigarette so Jared grabs it out of his hand, takes a puff of the cigarette, coughs, and goes to hand it back and Eddie goes "you keep it" so Jensen told him it was nice to meet him, walked Jared to the parking lot and they left.

Jared says he left, went home and flew back to Van at like 6am and was like "I always wish I wouldn't act like that" x

If there were a movie made about their lives who would they want playing them?

Jensen jokes Barry Watson would play Jared. Jared shares the story about how one time Sandy was flying from LA to go visit him in Van and the guy she was sitting next to asked what she was traveling for, she said she was going to visit her boyfriend, guy asked what the boyfriend does she tells him he's filming a show called Supernatural that just started, and the guy says he has seen it and asks if her boyfriend is the short one or the one from 7th Heaven. He thought Jared was Barry Watson.

Jensen goes Meryl Streep cause she can do anything.

Jared says Meryl Streep and Daniel Day-Lewis could play Jensen better than Jensen. x

What is a sports moment they wish they could go back and change or are still mad about?

Jensen says he has two. First, when he was in the 9th-grade basketball team there was a very important game and they needed a win. He stole the ball and had a breakaway layup on the other end, he thought he was gonna be king of the school but he airballed it which means he missed the shot. He wishes he could take that back. The second moment was in his senior year he was on the baseball team and he was batting against a guy who went on to have a very long career in the major leagues. The guy was Kerry Wood, he's a pitcher and he was throwing 90 mph as an 18-year-old.

So they have a runner on first and he looks down the third base coach to get his signal cause they give him a signal on what to do and basically through signals they told him he was gonna send the runner to steal second but they needed him to swing away to rob the catcher from throwing him out on second base so he was supposed to swing the ball but Wood's threw a 90+ mph fastball that he never saw. The runner got thrown out on second base, Jensen struck out, and the coach was not happy.

Jared says he thinks it says something about them that they don't remember game-winning goals cause what he remembers is when he was like 11 or 12yrs old- if you get fouled in basketball while shooting you get two shots but sometimes the foul count is at like 8 and you get a foul dribbling which means you get a one-one so you get the first shot and you can get a second shot so he got a one-one and shot the free throw and missed which meant the ball was still in play. But everybody is standing around waiting for him to make the second shot which he wasn't entitled to but he realizes nobody was aware the ball was still in play so he tells his team mate who the ball had bounced over to to pass it to him and he drives straight down the lane and he missed the layup so the other team got the score.

As somebody who knows nothing about sports this was very confusing.

Also, Jensen was trying to ask Jared a question about this and Jared wasn't understanding so Jensen just slaps his arm to get his attention. x

And that was the Gold panel! Real quickly I want to mention that according to the fan who recorded this panel Jensen was checking up on Jared prior to going on the stage to make sure he was okay because this is a very emotional con.

For those who may still not know Krista, also known as Kreespa, who has provided the fandom with wonderful panel recordings over the years was sadly diagnosed with terminal cancer and this was the last convention she was attending so it was dedicated to her. My mom just told me something that kinda got under my skin. Our long-time family friend is complaining that my mom never goes to her house, even though this woman never plans any gatherings and is never really at home 🤦🏾‍♀️

This same woman has had the same complaint about me. Same as this other family friend who has made the same complaint.

I am admittedly biased because my mom raised me so maybe she and I are both wrong. But I don't think it's my mom's responsibility ( or mine ) to go to other people's houses uninvited in order to sustain friendships. If you, a grown woman, are missing your friend and want her to come to your house, why not call her and try and schedule something so that she can come over to your house when it works for the both of you?

Both my mom and I have super stressful jobs and autoimmune issues. And we don't live close to either of these women anymore. By the time we get off during the week, it's dark. And we both have vision problems. My mom wears trifocals for crying out loud. And she has some car-related anxiety from being in a head on collision that was so bad that she had metal plates installed in her arms. Not to mention at least one other accident she has been in with me, and another she has been in with my dad (none of these have been her fault either. She was only driving for one of them, and that one was because people were going way too hecking fast for the road we were on). She chugs energy drinks and coffee just to make it through the workday. And she's going to be 62 in less than a week. So she's hecking TIRED ok?

And y'all already know my autism, autoimmune issue, PMDD, major depression and dissociative disorder having ass be struggling to get up and stay alive every day 🤣.

So no. Neither of us are thinking about going anywhere but to bed by the end of the damn day. And my mom tried to express that to her. And her response was to cut her off and say that they weren't going to argue about that. Mind you, this was brought up after mom tried to vent to her about some very disturbing news that might have impacted both of them honestly. And instead of talking to her about it, she just kind of cut her off and suddenly had to go do something.

I am sick of this trend of people not owning their feelings and expectations. And not communicating. Say what you feel. And actually talk it out when it's with someone you've cared about for over 40 years. And for crying out loud, don't bring something up and suddenly decide you don't want to hear what anybody else has to say about it?

Tony would absolutely be like a hungry black hole 😩😭 he'll always he ready to taste whatever you're cooking and he'll always be trying to get a spoonful of stuff from the pan while you're distracted 🤭

Whenever he's not around while you're cooking (which just means he's extremely busy in the lab because he'll never miss an opportunity to be your little assistant cook and official test subject for food), if you come find him with some food like "hey, try this for me" he's immediately either reaching for the spoon or opening his mouth if his hands are busy (and once he's done tasting it, he'll probably ask for more 🤣).

Sometimes you have to scold him while he's helping you in the kitchen because he just eats everything 🤨😤 If you don't keep an eye on him, he's just gonna eat everything while you're cooking and then there'll be no food for dinner because he ate everything 😭

If y'all are eating together and you don't look like you're gonna finish your plate, he'll totally be like "you gonna finish that? 👀 no? 👀 well, then can I have it? 😃".

He hides snacks everywhere so he can have a little snackie whenever he gets hungry 😋 So sometimes you're helping him out in the lab and then he just randomly pulls a blueberry pack from some drawer and starts munching on it while asking if you want some. He gets chips from some cabinet in the kitchen and munches on it while cooking dinner with you. Dude has pulled snackies from his bedside drawer after sex and been like "hey, you want some? I'm real hungry now".

Tony definitely keeps like trail mix in the bedside drawer, go go squeeze pouches in the lab, secret bags of chips in the cabinets you can’t reach and there’s only stuff you rarely use put away in them 😩 I’m sure half the time he doesn’t ask and just steals a fry from your plate 😤😤😤😤😤😤 or is always like “I’ll trade you a bite of mine if you give me a bite of that 👀”

And personally I don’t eat the raw cookie dough off the spoon if I’ve used raw egg to make it, but I just know Tony would lick it off and make me cringe and make me constantly be like “are you okay? You feel sick??” bc the thought of those raw eggs freaks me ouuttttt 😭😭
