Commander Fox deserves to go feral, dontcha think? As a treat ;3
Tumblr media
At first this was just gonna be a fun little sketch of one of my ocs, but then I decided that I don’t draw canon clones enough, and that I wanted to have some fun experimenting with various things. So, now we have this- A very angry Fox, just moments after ripping someone’s throat out. It was inspired by two different fics- Don’t Give Up On Me, an ongoing series by myself and @darkest-of-rats, and Fallen Fox, a WIP I talked about a few months ago, in which Fox is Force Sensitive, doesn’t realize it, and accidentally goes a bit Dark. (Well. Maybe more than a bit.)
Anyways. This took me seven hours and I’m very proud of it, so I hope y’all like it too! ^-^

A Rock - Angel Reyes
A/N : The amount of positive feedback i got yesterday/today was ridiculous and it warmed my heart so much what the fuck 😭😭😭😭 so i wrote another! i’m glad y’all liked my first one so much and i hope y’all enjoy this one too!
trigger warning : none? maybe some swears. but that’s all.
word count : 1608
Tumblr media
“A rock?” Ezekiels voice was the first to be heard, his tone laced thickly with judgement as his brows pulled together, mirroring the tone he spoke with almost exactly. Angel had just finished telling him, Coco, and Gilly that he brought back a small rock from the desert. It had a few harder corners to it, it was a lovely brown colour that clashed with the grey shades and the few shiny bits that glistened as it laid in the palm of Angels hand, reflecting softly in the bright California sun.
“that’s fucking stupid.” Coco chimed in, he couldn’t quite place why in the world Angel would want to give her a rock, that wouldn’t impress her, not even in the slightest, if that’s what he was even trying to do.
“yeah, why the hell would she want a fucking rock?” asked Gilly next, his brows raised, his dark brown eyes stuck on the piece of earth in the mans hand until the taller Mayan pulled his hand back, balling his lengthy fingers around it.
“She likes rocks.” it was a simple answer, a soft huff blew from his flared nostrils as his friends words slowly started to discourage him, perhaps this wasn’t the best idea. Was it really that stupid? They had been out on a run, doing business in the blaring sun when the small stone caught his eye, half buried in the sand of the desert and he just had to give it to her. “She once talked about crystals, and shit, and this is shiny, close enough, right?” he shrugged.
“i still think you’re stupid.” Coco chimed in just before his hand dove to the inside of his kutte, pulling a pack of cigarettes out, picking out a single one before shoving it back in. Placing the stick between his thin lips, he cupped his hand around the flame as he brought the lighter to it, lighting it. Taking in a deep drag, he shoved the lighter back where it belonged and took a deep drag, ringlets of smoke eliciting from his lips. Angels eyes rolled back, listening to his friends bash his ideas made him not wanting to even present the rock, what if she thought he was equally as stupid they were expressing he was? His mind riddled with ‘what if’s’ as they continued the banter, toning it out until she entered the room.
“who’s stupid?” she asked, a dirtied rag thrown over her shoulder. With two long braids cascading down her back, she wiped her hands clean of grease as she walked into the clubhouse, though, that didn’t do much for the streaks of oil running up her toned arms as she went behind the bar for a bottle of water. “and why’re we standing here gossiping like teenage girls?” she asked, raising one of her perfectly arched brows, she cracked the seal, opening the water before downing a majority of it.
“Angel.” Ezekiel noted, his eyes flit from his older brother, to the woman standing behind the counter, she was doused in sweat, dirt jammed in the creases of her forehead as her brows pushed together quizzically.
“why?” she asked once she set down the water, her hand wrapped around the base of the bottle, shutting it tightly before she crossed her arms over her chest. Looking between the four, Angel was sending his brother glares that could kill, Ezekiels smirk was bright and shit eating, Gilly looked all bright eyed and bushy tailed while Coco didn’t seem to be paying much attention to the situation, but instead the curve of his coworkers hips.
Winnie had been working at the scrapyard for months now, and she was nothing short of a sight for sore eyes. She was confident in who she was, and it showed in how she carried herself. She got on well with the Mayans and the customers loved her, she usually held down the fort along side Chucky when the rest of them were off on business. She hardly asked questions about their work, she knew enough, and respected the privacy that came with what they did. Her uncle, Taza, ensured she got the job, but she would’ve anyways, her work ethic was impeccable and it showed in her references from previous jobs. Her friendships between her, and the Mayans that she’d work with day in and day out, were blossoming constantly.
Her questions were met with silence, up until Ez spoke, avoiding his older brothers menacing glares. “Angel brought you a rock back from where we were today and we think it’s stupid because who likes dusty ass rocks?” he spewed his words quickly, as Angel raised his fist to strike his brother for running his mouth, Gilly snickered quietly and Win’s eyebrows raised. She lifted her hand, placing it on top of Angels balled up fist, and slowly lowered it. His defensive posture quickly, and visibly, softened. His eyes shifted from him, to her, something about her gentle touch against his hand tamed the quickly rising temper that came from the embarrassment the younger Reyes intended on putting him through.
“You brought me a rock?” she asked, there was a soft sparkle in her eyes, one he wasn’t sure he had seen before, but spread a warmth in his chest never the less. Angel nodded slightly, she wasn’t sure if she spotted a hint of hesitation in it, but the corners of her lips lifted into a soft little smile.
“Uh, yeah.” he said, after her hand dropped from his, he almost immediately missed her warm touch against him, but wouldn’t dare show that. Especially with his brothers still standing around him. His free arm reached back, nervously scratching the back of his neck, the neatly cut strands raking against his rough fingers.
“Well give it to me, then.” she spoke in a duh tone of voice, and when he suddenly scrambled not to drop it, he dropped it in her hand. Shoving both his hands now in his pockets, he tried to play off the fumbling mistakes off, playing cool. If she didn’t like it? Who cares. Not Angel, definitely not Angel.
“Agate.” she grinned after examining the rock, she brushed her gentle fingertips over its smooth sides, grazing the rougher corners gently. It was gorgeous, it shone so brightly even in the poorly lit room, it’d definitely fit nicely with her little collection she bad started. She had all kinds of rocks and crystals lining the windows of her home, they brought her comfort, for multiple reasons. “Thank you, Angel. This is a gorgeous rock.” she beamed.
“Ha!” he nearly shouted, pointing his finger at Gilly and Ez, much like a four year old, the next words to come out of his mouth were “I told you so!” and “In your face!”
“Oh come on!” she could’ve sworn those words that came from Coco, were a mix of whining and very obvious disbelief. “What kind of chick digs rocks?” he asked, his shoulders slouched as he focused his eyes on her.
Opening her mouth to say something to tbe heavily tattooed man, Angel beat her to it. “she does, she collects them, she was talking about it once, something about never having time to go out and look for them but she loves them around her.” he said, pulling the memory from the back of his mind, there was a day not too long ago where Win would go off on rants when Chucky brought up the stone she kept on her, tucked in her pocket, she considered it her lucky rock and carried it wherever she would go, just in case.
She watched him in disbelief, her eyes wide in awe as he defended his decision to his brothers, who looked equally bored as they did annoyed that his seemingly ridiculous actions really wowed the woman they’d all been flirting with, for months now. Being almost entirely overwhelmed, a flare of bravery ran through her stark blue veins like adrenaline. Reaching her dirtied, but soft hands up, she cupped his stubbled jaw in her palms and pulled him closer to her. Standing on her toes, she met him half way, her lips clashing with his as she kissed him, it wasn’t long at all, but it means something. There was a pull between the two and the moment their lips parted, Angel wanted to dip in and steal another from her lips, yet a part of him was too stunned to do so when their kiss did end. He didn’t expect to end up here, but now that he had, he never wanted to turn back. “thank you” the soft whisper fell from her lips before she pulled back entirely, with the rock in her hand still, she grabbed her water bottle off the counter, and headed out of the clubhouse. Her shift was over, and she was now on her way home with a smile that would be stuck to her lips for days from now. Angel? Stood there, still in utter shock. Coco, Gilly and Ez were equally as bewildered by what just happened.
Maybe it wasn’t just the rock, and the sheer beauty in the colours that it contained, maybe it wasn’t that it was shiny. But maybe, just maybe, it was the fact that he listened to at least one of your stupid rants, and he remembered it. Maybe it was that Angel looked at this distinctive rock and he thought of you. Whatever it was, it meant the world to you.
“fuck, maybe I needa start bringing chicks rocks..” noted Gilly, the others nodding in silent agreement.

The Ultimatum
AN: I cast Nadia Hilker as Artemis, but y’all can use anyone you want. I just kinda took reference from her look as Luna from The 100. Also I know Artemis has green eyes, I just changed it a little. Also in this chapter Diana and Kara are starting to form that Mother/Daughter bond cause they’re gonna need that shit in the future chapters. Also feel free to give suggestions for the story and I’d love to her your feedback.
1,560+ words (lmao)
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
Chapter 3
Masterlist
A few days later and Diana, accompanied by the 3 Kryptonians were in a jet, graciously offered by Bruce, headed to Paris after Diana offered to take them in. Kal and Y/K/N, now named Clarke Calvin Prince and Y/N M/N Prince respectively, according to the fake documents Bruce made for them, were both given window seats and were marveling at the sight with big curious eyes, their faces pressed up against the glass.
“We’ll be landing in a few minutes so make sure you have all your things” Diana called out from the cockpit.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
As soon as the jet landed, they were escorted into Diana’s car where they were taken to a nice duplex apartment. Though when Kara hesitated before stepping into the elevator, Diana quickly took action and lead them to the stairs. It wasn’t like they would get tired easily from it. So with that in mind, Kara insisted on carrying what little luggage they had, as well as the box they had filled with things from their pod. While Diana had Kal in her arms, while Y/N was perched on her shoulders as she happily babbled on with Kal whilst playing with Diana’s hair.
When they reached Diana’s floor, they were then directed to one of the doors there where they waited on Diana to unlock the door. As soon as they entered, they were engulfed in a welcoming atmosphere that brought comfort to Kara despite being in an unfamiliar environment. Unlike Wayne Manor, which felt dark and gloomy, whereas Diana’s apartment was light and gave her a feeling of a home filled with joy and love.
She was brought out of her musings by a woman emerging from around a corner. She had curly copper hair that went down her shoulders, playful hazel-brown eyes, slightly tanned skin, and like Diana, she was tall and had a slim, yet muscular physique. She was wearing a white tank top with dark grey sweatpants. Though as soon as her eyes landed on Diana, the playful glint in her eyes disappeared and was replaced with fury.
“Diana” The woman said with a stern glare, crossing her arms together, which made Diana gently place Y/N on her feet and passing a sleeping Kal in Kara’s arms.
“Hello, my love” Diana answered with a sheepish smile on her face as she crossed the space between them to embrace the other woman, only for her to step away.
“Don’t ‘Hello, my love’ me Diana. You disappear for almost a week without telling me. Do you have any idea how worried I was?”
“I know and I’m sorry, my love” Diana said with a pout. Meanwhile, Kara was watching them amusedly and was occasionally taking in the place that would now be their home. She was interrupted by Diana calling her name and beckoning her over. “Love, this is Kara, the children are Y/N and Kal, Kara’s sister and cousin. They were the ones I told you about. Kara this is my wife, Artemis of Bana-Maghdall” she said. Artemis’s eyes softened as she looked at Kara, though as Kara studied her closer, she noticed that those eyes weren’t filled with pity like she thought, instead they showed understanding, much like J’onn and Diana, which Kara was thankful for.
Just then they noticed Y/N walking over to them, well, mostly Kara, hiding behind her with her head peeking out. Artemis bent down to her height and smiled invitingly at her.
“Y/N say ‘hi’, her name’s Artemis” Kara whispered over to her. Y/N stepped out from behind Kara and smiled that charming little smile of hers before greeting her.
“Aren’t you just adorable?” Artemis cooed, and though Y/N couldn’t understand much yet, her smile only widened at the attention she was receiving which made them all chuckle.
“Why don’t we show you your rooms” Diana offered with a smile. With a nod from Kara, they lead the 3 Kryptonians to each of their rooms. “You can decorate them any way you want, if you’d like we can make a trip to the store tomorrow”. They lead Kara to her room last.
“Thank you, Diana, Artemis. Goodnight” she said with a small smile and a nod before closing the door.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
Diana was awoken by sobs sounding from down the hall. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and carefully pushed Artemis’ arm off her, silently praying that she wouldn’t wake up as she got up off the bed. She grabbed a robe and wrapped it around herself before making her way down to where the sobs were coming from, which turned out to be Kara’s room.
She couldn’t really be surprised as she was expecting this. During their stay at the Wayne Manor, she noticed Kara mostly focusing on getting a hold of her powers to distract her. She remembered how often she found her in Bruce’s lab in the middle of the night and in early mornings.
She walked up to the door and knocked softly before slowly pushing the door open and peeking her head through. She found Kara curled up her bed, one of the pillows clutched in her embrace. She immediately made her way to her and sat by Kara, trying to coax her into sitting up. When she did, she brought her into a hug. In an attempt to bring the girl more comfort, she hummed the song her mother always used to sing to her as a child.
When Kara’s sobs subsided into hiccups and sniffles she pulled her away from her softly. She laid her down onto the bed and brushed the hair away from her face with a sad smile. She knew that this was just the beginning of a long journey of healing for the poor girl. She vowed that she’d be there every step of the way for her.
“Thank you, Diana” Kara whispered in a broken voice, her voice hoarse from crying.
“Anything for you, little one” Diana whispered back. This only brought on a new wave of tears for Kara as her lips wobbled. Diana panicked, not understanding what she did wrong. She tried shushing the girl and whispering her comforting things.
“My aunt Astra used to call me that” she confessed.
“Oh sweetheart”
“It’s fine. I just miss her so much” she answered.
“Do you want to tell me about her?” Diana asked, receiving a nod in reply as Kara sat up, hugging her knees to her chest and resting her chin on them.
“Her name was Astra Ze. She became head of house when her father, my grandfather, stepped down from the position, and since she was the older twin, the title went to her. She was my mother’s twin, the only way you could tell them apart was by the white streak in aunt Astra’s hair.” Kara said with a sad smile, “She was a high general. I have always admired her. I remember rushing from school to the training grounds each day and watching them train. Eventually, I started bugging her to train me, and I must have eventually wore her down as she started training me on my tenth name day. Oh I remember mother’s exasperation and father’s amusement when I told them she had begun training me” she chuckled, reminiscing. This caused Diana to smile as well, noticing how similar Kara’s aunt was to her aunt Antiope.
“I used to get so upset whenever she left with her army, so she gave me a spy beacon. It allowed us to send messages to each other, no matter where she was. And when she could, she’d always come when I called for her. And every time she came back home from her travels, she always had something to give me, a souvenir, and she’d tell me all about her trip.” This time Kara’s smile was filled with less sadness and more nostalgia, although the sadness was still lingering.
Diana hummed, “I knew someone like her. Her name was Antiope. Like your aunt Astra, she was a high general.”
“Really?” Kara asked curiously, tilting her head to one side, which Diana noticed she did a lot. It was cute.
Diana nodded, a fond, nostalgic smile on her face. “She was my aunt too. She was the one who taught me to fight to. She is one of the reasons I am who I am today. My mother never wanted me to learn how to fight, you see, so she was furious when she found me and Antiope training in one of the gardens that no one visited much” she chuckled.
“But were you people not warrior women?” Kara inquired, both confused and curious.
“They were. But that is a story for another time, sweet one” Diana said. She smiled, tucking Kara into bed. Before she left, she placed a kiss on her forehead after whispering a soft “Goodnight”. She exited the room, leaving the door slightly ajar.
She was met in the hallway by Artemis, who had a soft smile on her face. She walked up to her and embraced her, Artemis returning.
“Is Kara alright, love?”
“She’s healing.”
“Then we’ll help her, in whatever way she needs us to” Artemis smiled. And there Diana’s heart melted, the woman never ceasing to amaze her as she fell even more in love with her. She gave her a quick kiss before leading her back to their bedroom for the night.

Hi, I am so here for all this ambition content right now. I check this page every day! I remember u guys mentioning about a rl and dasher road trip and I was wondering about that! Thank you!
hello pal!! literally so honored and happy that you’re enjoying ambition and the fact that you check our page every day... ugh you’re too sweet. hopefully the nonsense we do around here is entertaining! very happy to have you in our fandom community <3
so yes, rl + da road trip! i hope it’s okay that i took a bit to answer this, bc i wanted to ruminate on it for a bit before typing it up. so as y’all know we refer to the summer between s1 and 2 as “cruel summer” (thank u tswift), and similarly we have a code name for the summer between s2 and 3 which is “summer of love.” this is admittedly mainly because of rl, but also because a majority of the characters are in such a better headspace this summer than they were last.
boppin the rest under a read more, because i just go on... and on... and on............. (i really love rl & da)
-- Maggie
one facet of this summer is that around... july sometime, dylucasher decide they want to take a trip down to virginia beach (or the beaches in that general vicinity) because they want to check out a beach that isnt grey and cold like the ones close to them in ny, and because a trip before their last year of school together seems like a fun and Classic idea. originally they plan it for just the three of them, but somehow riley comes up and all of them agree -- especially dylan -- that it would be way more fun if she came along too. so they try to convince her to come along, which doesn’t take much convincing, it’s more so about figuring out how she’s going to get around cory because if he knew she wanted to go on a like week long trip with her boyfriend (who he doesn’t really trust) and two other boys he would probably have a heart attack.
you know, it would be like “you can’t go on an overnight trip with three boys!!!” “dad, you know dylan and asher. they’re gay. they’ve been dating for three years. they’re GAY. i do not think i’m at ALL at risk in that scenario???” fsdfSDKGDL
so riley devises a plan / cover story that involves like “going to stay with mom” for a few days, maybe a lie about staying over at isa’s or yindra’s for a couple days in there, you know, she lays out the whole lie and then bribes maya to go along with it and help cover her tracks (rl have very inverse influences on one another -- where riley sort of tames lucas and helps calm him and make him less feral, she develops a bit of a rebellious streak from him or just better identifies the nuances of which rules should be followed vs which were meant to be bent or broken..)
the good thing about this road trip is that it’s what truly cements riley’s friendship with dylan and asher. they’ve been toeing the line of friendship for like two years now (as riley said in cruel summer, she regretted not taking the time and establish a friendship with them in sophomore year before everything fell apart), and it’s kind of like it’s bound to happen. riley and asher takes a little more time to grow and develop just because of the kind of person asher is, but on this road trip dylan and riley just Click. like they were basically made to be best friends, dylan is the first person who kind intrinsically Gets riley and they match each other in terms of enthusiasm / personality / brightness. again, a friendship that’s just been Waiting to happen, and this trip really brings that to the forefront.
(on that note, i once joked that when dylan and riley get really into chatting about something and lucas zones out, they start sounding like the villagers in animal crossing to him. like if he stops paying attention for even a second suddenly dyley sound like this. and i stand by that claim.)
as for the trip itself, its not like i have the whole thing perfectly plotted or anything like that, more just... musings and ideas. oh and a playlist, of course i have a playlist. obviously they’re really good about swapping around drivers and sort of organizing their time since they only have a week, and i think it’s mainly funded by dylan’s youtube vlogger coin. asher helps and riley chips in her fair share, but dylan basically covers lucas because obviously he can’t pay but they all want him there. he makes up for this by driving the most even tho the other three insist its not a big deal.
when it comes to sharing space, the quartet of them are pretty good at it. obviously when they stop for the night they just share beds by couple, but it is interesting to think about how different these two relationships are in terms of like... you know, where they’re at. like its super easy for da to share a bed because they basically do that all the time now, but for rl breaking that boundary would be a kind of unspoken big deal and lucas would be so cautious about it. like they spend most of the summer in riley’s car (can’t hang out at her place with cory there and no one is going to lucas’s) and so theyve probably like fallen asleep together there once or twice and maybe napped ONCE at riley’s place when maya and cory were both gone in the 2.5 months they’ve been together, but it’s still... not the same. so at first lucas would be really nervous about it, but after the first couple of nights he’d relax and realize its really not that big a deal -- esp since riley seems pretty confident and comfortable with it. by the end of the week, lucas wakes up in the middle of the night and riley has cuddled up next to him and he’s like... okay MAYBE sharing a bed with someone makes points. perhaps.
one of the nights on the way down the coast, what truly breaks the ice for dylan and riley is that they break out a SMALL amount of alcohol and both get tipsy (which for them is just like. giddy and giggly and very chatty. they’re both happy drunks without a doubt). lucas and asher don’t indulge bc lucas doesn’t trust himself getting intoxicated and asher is just wary of it in general, but they figure dyley can do it as long as they’re both supervising. so dylan and riley talk A LOT that night and truly form their Kindred Spirit bond and also lucasher end up regretting letting them drink bc for like a half an hour dyley do this thing where they just pretend to share secrets with one another. like they theatrically whisper in one another’s ears and look at lucasher while they’re doing it and then start laughing and they’re literally not saying anything Important (like it’s probably like riley being like “psst... i think lucas is... hee hee... lucas is hot”) and then dylan cracking up and agreeing but bc lucasher don’t know what they’re saying they’re like ha ha very funny........... but y’all aren’t talking about us doe right. wait, what did you say. hold on --
a lot of the trip is also based around being in nature and the outdoors, since they don’t get to do much of that day-to-day in manhattan. considering one of their favorite spots to hang out as a group during senior year is at central park, they’re all definitely fresh air outdoorsy kind of people to a degree. so like, stopping at parks, going on hikes, and of course the beach itself. i made an instagram edit of one of said hikes when i was testing a template i made:
Tumblr media
naturally, and i swear this happens at least once on a long road trip whether it is with family or friends or any combo of people, but you hit a point where you get irritable and start to get a little sick of one another. i think in this case that mainly starts between lucas and asher, because although they’re Best Friends i think lucas has a knack for finding ways of irritating him. and also lucas probably gets irritated by dylan’s high energy after too much time with no breaks, so he’s also snappy, and as they’re on the way back up to nyc people are spatting at one another or getting snippy over stupid things so riles is like. here’s an idea! how about we split up for the day when we get to philadelphia. this is an excellent idea and none of them are opposed, so when they arrive in philly, dylan and asher split off to go explore the city + historical sites.
what do riley and lucas do? well, riley takes lucas to meet her grandparents, of course.
at first lucas is like ummmmmmm no because he’s SUPER nervous about meeting her family -- the only family he’s met is cory and we know that’s... unideal, and eric, both of whom have a completely different perception of him bc of school and his behavioral record. he’s yet to meet topanga or auggie yet or anything like that -- but riley assures him that her grandparents are chill and she has no doubt she’ll like them. they’re also meeting lucas with a completely blank slate (i.e. no preconceived notions about him like those who work at aaa), so it’s not hard for lucas to make a good impression since he really is like... a good guy. not to mention no way is he snarky or deadpan in situations where he doesn’t feel comfortable or like he has the right lmao, so he’s on his BEST behavior around amy and alan.
the good thing is that alan himself kind of had a similar background and run on the wild side that lucas does (kind of like jack, altho jack was never as troubled as lucas), and so i think he would kind of... inherently Get him. like he’d strike up a conversation with him and at first lucas would be like omg why is this man speaking to me please i’m invisible pretend i’m not here... but after a bit he’d find it’s surprisingly easy to talk to alan. and they’d talk for like an hour and get on pretty well. meanwhile, amy is talking to riley and is like so... let me guess. cory does not know you’re traveling with your boyfriend???? and riley is like... perhaps. maybe don’t tell him? pretty please? and once amy convenes with alan and is like how is he and alan is all “he’s fine, we can approve,” then they agree not to rat riley out.
riley and lucas also climb up into the matthews tree house and take a look around and they comment on how strange it is that cory and eric once used to like, hang out in there and in that house and were once teenagers (lucas: be careful this is humanizing your father too much for me). and i’d think they’d sit up in the treehouse for a little bit and just talk and riley would talk about how nice it must’ve been to grow up in the suburbs like this, and she’s surprised when lucas agrees and he admits he fucking hates living in manhattan. and that kind of prompts this subtle internal thinking in both of them of like hmm well... maybe in the future when things are different and we can make our own rules maybe we’ll move out of the city and into a quieter life... they don’t say any of that out loud, but they’re both thinking it. and at the tail end of that conversation riley kisses lucas which turns into a Really Good Kiss... but then they’re interrupted by amy calling for them to come down for dinner and its kind of like lmao, they’re both a little bashful but in a casual silly way
