with their awkward encounter previously he wasn’t sure that she would remember but he definitely did. jihyo had believed that wei was someone else and had been calling him the other person’s name. a simple mistake and the first time she said it wei had been too shy to correct her. “well i wasn’t sure if you would or not - just tell me again, what’s my name?” he was almost teasing her not letting it go, although he would eventually, he felt like playing around a little more. “c’mon~” he wriggled his shoulders in an overly cute manner.

She parted her lips, wanting to say nevermind don’t answer that please but before she could, he began his teasing and she’s flooded with embarrassment once more. Not once but twice. She pronounced his name entirely wrong and it couldn’t be blamed on anything else but her forgetfulness. “Wei-sshi, you gotta let me live this one down, okay?” His name was said with emphasis to reveal that she hadn’t forgotten this time, “...is this aegyo?” she laughed, “i have pretty high levels of aegyo myself, but yours is just as adorable! It could make anyone do anything so don’t take advantage of it!”

It was just a regular day. Sun was out, people were going about their own business and it was overall just quiet. Yongguk deemed it a perfect day to take Tigger out for a walk to enjoy the fresh air. It had been awhile since the male had even really stepped out of his apartment other than to go to the store to get dog food and ramen. Once Tigger was hooked up to the leash, he placed his black face mask on and headed out. Going straight to the park first was the goal for the day and Tigger seemed to be enjoying himself the whole time. That is until he spotted another dog, a Shiba Inu. Tigger suddenly went on high alert and let out a bark, not really moving an inch. Seeing the owner of said Shiba Inu, Yongguk quickly went to apologize. ⟬Sorry about all this. Usually, he’s a quiet dog and doesn’t really care about territory....⟭

his eyes flickered up from the cup of coffee to meet the girls eyes. “how come?” wei worried, it was never good that his friends didn’t get much sleep - regardless of the fact wei rarely got more than 5 hours a night, but his friends were more important. “shouldn’t you be drinking something other than coffee and trying to nap or something? or do you have somewhere to be after this that you need to be awake for?” bringing the mug up to his lips and taking a small sip before placing it down on the table in front.

Gayoung put up three fingers, tapping her fingertips lightly with her other hand as she explain her situation. “I have a video to submit tomorrow, a research paper that I haven’t started due next monday and a photo shoot later on so...” Upset, she takes the coffee mug over and takes a huge sip of the black liquid, her face scunching up not long after. “Argh. I need caffine but this adult drink is not working out for me.” The ends of her lips turn downwards as she started whining softly. “I just want to spend my day work-free...xun wei...please kidnap me.”

☆ • ★ • EVEN JUST HAVING the sound of Wei’s voice accompanying his rest now was relaxing, soothing, and Hun’s eyelids fluttered until his lashes rested against his cheeks. In much the same manner, he could admit to being addicted to being around his younger friend; it was always fun when they were together, and he’d so easily grown comfortable with him, fond of him, and, needless to say, attached. 

“Was it really last night? Somehow it feels like it was longer ago,” he mused out loud. “It’s not that late, is it? I just got home from schedules.” He didn’t bother checking the time though, hadn’t when he’d gotten home either, instead unceremoniously diving under the covers of his bed.

He wasn’t sure how much time had passed before he’d decided to call Wei.

“Mm, would you like it if I said yes?” There was a laugh, practically breathless sounding, and the low rasp of his voice was entirely filled with how tired he was despite being clearly unable to sleep. “It’s hard for me to sleep without company. It’s lonely, don’t you think? Sleeping by yourself.” It was a problem he’d developed long ago, difficulty being able to fall asleep without another being with him. Perhaps it was all subconscious, but it was a problem he lived with nonetheless. 

“But if you were here, mm, I think I’d sleep like a baby. ‘cause you’re my baby, Wei-yah~” His tone turns cutesy, teasing, saccharine sweet, and while a smile can’t be seen through an audio conversation it can certainly be heard.
