♡What are they generally like? Lucid, aware? Obsessive? How do they behave?

Zima prefers to watch his darling from a distance, he’s aware of what he’s doing and he can’t help but feel that he’s doing something wrong. He wants a darling who he can love and hold, but he’s content on watching and waiting from afar. Zima is patient, he doesn’t want to scare his darling with any unwanted romantic advances, so he’s content with just being seen by his beloved. He’s not aggressive towards his darling in any way, he knows what it's like to live a life of sorrows and he doesn’t want to push anything of the kind onto them. ♡How likely are they to kidnap their darling? How quickly will they do so? Zima is highly unlikely to kidnap his darling unless the situation is dire for them, he’d only do so to provide protection for them if truly necessary. 

♡How difficult is it to escape from them? How do they keep you restrained? How do they deal with attempted escape? 

Despite any reservations Zima has about taking his darling he will go out of his way to make their captivity as comfortable as he can. The furthest he’d go with restraints would be an ankle chain, of course with plenty of room to move about. Zima refuses to punish his darling for any escape attempts, the most his darling would be subjected to is a boring lecture on how it isn’t safe.  ♡How easy are they to trick, deceive, or manipulate? Zima is easy to deceive, he tries to look on the brightside and stay positive that there's a chance his darling could possibly fall for him, even with the situation he’s put them in. 

♡How lenient are they? What privileges can you have, and what will you be denied? He’s willing to forgive any and every bit of his darling’s misbehavior, it’s not a favorable situation so he can understand their rebellion. Zima is happy to provide almost anything his darling would like, excluding freedom from your imprisonment of course. 

♡What kind of rules do they have? What kind of punishment would they use? Zima won’t set rules for his darling, he can understand their rebellious behavior, of course he hopes in time they can grow out of it. He doesn’t like the idea of punishing his darling, he couldn’t bear to, so the most punishment they could expect would be a light scolding.

♡How do they deal with rivals, or perceived rivals? Will they get rid of them? Will they kill them themselves, or find another way? Unless the person was endangering his darling he wouldn’t harm or approach them, however if they were they could expect to face his wrath. Of course he wouldn’t go as far to kill them, but he wouldn’t stop at a simple warning. 

♡How easy is it to make them mad? What does their anger look like? It’s almost impossible to push Zima to the point of anger, but if his darling does manage he will simply distance himself from them for the night. 

♡Do they see you as above them, beneath them, or equal to them?

Zima sees his darling as an equal to him, he couldn’t imagine looking at them as anything less than an equal. ♡How determined are they for you to love them? How hard will they try to make it happen? Or are they content just having you? As much as Zima wants his love reciprocated he’s not willing to push his darling into a relationship. He will make attempts at romancing them, but if they reject him enough he'd be content with backing off. ♡General perverseness: how sexual of a person are they? What’s their drive like? How touchy do they get? Do they have any reservations about sexuality? Zima doesn’t have much of a drive for sex, and he doesn’t need it for a relationship either. If sex is something his darling wants of course he’s happy to assist, but it’s not something he’ll actively pursue. His touches never turn sexual until it’s requested of his darling, it’s not that he doesn’t find them attractive but he much prefers emotional pleasure overall.

♡How forceful are they? Do they care about your willingness? He won’t touch his darling unless it’s something they themselves want, and even if he and his darling do engage in the act he’s as gentle as possible.

♡What sort of kinks or fetishes do they have, or would they fill? He’s as vanilla as they come, no kinks or fetishes. Zima doesn’t have very much sexual experience, but when he is sleeping with darling he prefers servicing them over any sexual pleasure for himself.

♡What kind of (nsfw) punishments would they use? Xima wouldn’t use any sexual punishments.

okay, i wanted to wait to post this on holiday of love. but hey i couldn't wait. so sorry if i don't add you, i am doing this in no order and remembrance. happy valentine's day, everyone. even added a cute lil thing i think they would

The Comi of Apricus (part one)

Ever since the great split between Apricus and Fideli roughly 200 years ago the ruling houses of Apricus have remained some of the most stable in the isles. Or rather, lacked the infighting a lot of the other nobili families across the isles display. This is usually credited to the fact that the oldest child of the current head of the family is always legally assumed to be the heir at birth instead of the normal electoral system seen in other great Sorori families. It has its drawbacks as it can be very hard to challenge an heir that may not be suitable for the job. 

As for their actual powers, they are considered a mouthpiece and protector for their territory. They do not get a hereditary seat in their parliament, instead they have a counsel that is more of an advisory committee for the "civilian” government. They are also expected to use whatever wealth generation they get from their production deals with the temple system to support social programs within their territories (which is the same in Viridis). There’s probably more to this I’m forgetting but this is enough. Anyway, let’s meet these folks. 

Crown Prince Esai Arman Ramone Aguilar Medani, Comi of Aurori

So yeah you know this guy. The Crown Prince of Apricus is usually invested as Comi of Aurori as soon as they reach their majority. It’s supposed to help them get used to holding a ceremonial office under the close eye of the other heads of house and the monarch. At 28 years old Esai has held the position now for about 11 years and his term is considered to be generally unremarkable (partially because his grandma and older members of the counsel think his ideas are a bit extreme).  

Maxima Edassi, Comi of Silvestri

Xima came to her position as comi two years ago after the death of her father. Before that happened there were a number of rumors that she and Esai were going to eventually go under contract and her sister would end up inheriting the seat instead but that never came to pass.  Before taking her position, she studied ecology at the International School in Viridis and now spends most of her time working to strengthen the protections on her sections of the Aprici Wildlands. 

Livan “Van” Violeti, Comi of Margarilla

The hereditary “Lord of Pearls” is easily one of the most influential leaders in the country. His family not only controls the majority of the chain’s main high luxury export - pearls, but also the multimedia company known as The Deluge Network. Pretty much all news media, print, digital, or televised goes through this company in some way. Diluvio (the main newspaper), and  Diluvinunci! (a daily news program) are directly and openly funded by him but Salve Sorori receives support through back door funding. He is rumored to be the richest man in the isles but as a lot of his holdings are private no one knows for sure.  On top of all this he is very close with the Queen, his wife Cira (lovingly called “Queen of Pearls” by the media) is one of her many noble companions, and their three daughters (including Onora) grew up in Esai’s highly cultivated childhood circle. 

Since these guys have a lot going on I’m stopping here so this won’t be overwhelming. There are four more but they have less story behind them so it probably won’t be as long.

Read the ask from jiksvokrat and DEAR GOD SAME!!!! Literally same!!! I live in a state of constant bee bonesandthebees fic reminders all around me all the time. The same examples you gave and more— my friend in vc mentions they’re gonna be right back to make themselves a london fog? I gasp.

Every single time I went to do laundry I would sit there and go “man if only I had a friend to dance with me here just like that one scene from bee’s fic”.

But beyond that, I was literally playing Lethal Company on a friends stream absolutely terrified. But then I picked up a cookie mould tray and suddenly all my fear vanished because they were star-shaped and for the next 5 minutes any monsters were not of my concern because all both me and my friend could think about was stars.

I come into a new class in college and my Professor starts taking attendance and as I am hearing him list off the names of my classmates I hear him call fucking “Siren”. His name was spelled Cyrun but it didn’t matter because twice a week for the following ten weeks I would get jumpscared because the pronunciation was the exact same.

I can’t even look back at old stuff from a character I made as a kid that I had named “Clara” without being reminded of glass. Even just reading about engravings in other unrelated things make me think about the intricate flower engravings everyone in that fic had for their prosthetics.

There’s so many things both big and small that keep reminding me of your fics, whether it’s long fics or smaller fics— they live in my brain rent free all the same.

awww xima this is so sweet to hear. really makes it feel real just how many people have read and enjoyed my stories. like it's one thing to see numbers on a stats page but when I hear about how little things in your daily life remind you guys of what I've written it just makes it feel so concrete yknow?

(also, lmao at the guy named Cyrun in your class. if that had happened to me when I was in college I would've just about had a heart attack)
