Just finished Future Redeemed, and decided to draw best boy and protagonist in Nintendo History, Rex. wielding the blades of his wives, three sword style, like he should (With five different styles because I couldn’t decide which was the best one)!

Listen I’m personally not at all surprised by the revelation that the art book explicitly calls A a woman, but what’s with the sudden historical revisionism going on where people claim it was absurd for A’s gender to have EVER be in doubt or considered ambiguous?

It’s utterly baffling to me that chaining arts into each other is not a default ability in Xenoblade 2 or Torna: The Golden Country. It makes combat so much quicker and satisfying to engage with, and yet you have to spend like at LEAST 10 to 15 hours to even get to the point where a character can even do it in base Xenoblade 2.

It is even MORE baffling that this remained to be a trend in Xenoblade 3 AND Future Redeemed. Why is this always an ability you have to unlock? It’s practically a quality of life feature, and yet there has not been a single game in this series which features art cancelling that has it on by default.
