So it turns out that if you warp to a grave in Candesia the boat doesn't come with you! Or at least it didn't on the version I was playing when I got here, so I 100% believed the Lost Numbers took the boat and ditched me

A game could unironically be like "Hey don't go over there or all of your progress will legitimately be erased" but then I'd see the sidequest marker and go anyway. Then when my game was erased I'd be like "dang, they DID warn me :("
