my father wanted to give me this name and randomness knows he was right about just this one thing (i am alien, a stranger, i dont truly fit in anywhere (especially when i try, it just gets all awkward), it didnt quite work out before i doubt it gonna work out any time soon- there are still chances but hope is tiny when it's regarding socializing stuff (and to be honest do i wanna join an actual crowd irl? not really? i think about small groups -but not sure) having like two or three mutuals to talk to sometimes is still cool enough, is this okay? i mean i still wanna befriend more ppl somehow but my ex managed to make me think twice lol)))

my surname is kuzin(a) and kuzin rooted from kozin aka kosin which came from kosmos therefore it literally means cosmic (it got slavically adapted), and i got this surname from my father whose family was known as 'strange' and 'weird' (pretty sure some were autistic, plentys of mental glitches had a thing to do with it, no surprise many of them ended up becoming drunkards, sigh) ~ FuN fAcT! i have been told my father wanted a son, i dont know it was like a half hearted thing of his or just one of misunderstandings but- that's what mom said soo kay who am i to question this statement x)) (yeah i have so many questions for father tbh and like why he killed himself is not even on the top ten list anymore, there are so many maany other things i could ask but cant i am not sure if i ever accept this fact fully) and in this case the name would be il'ya (aka elias aka elijah) google says il'ya is like one of "short version of god's names" other sources say it's a new-ish version of Hλiaς (aka perun, a god of sky, lightings, storms, war & co)

Chapter 39

Giving Companions to the Xenos

After Wiene, Fia, Sky and I arrived at the new village, and I told Lydo about giving the Xenos Companions and what I needed to do. I took Wiene back home to Hearthstone Manor so I could talk to Hestia.

"Honey, I'm home." I said as I walked into the living room where Hestia was sitting. Bell and Welf were there as well. I waved at everyone.

"Hello Eilwyn and Wiene. I'm glad you made it back safely." Hestia told us.

"Thank you." I replied.

"Wiene did you like being with the Xenos?" Hestia asked Wiene.

"It was fun being with them. I learned a lot about the Dungeon and living down there. But I would rather be here with Eilwyn and you lady Hestia and Haruhime and everyone else." Wiene replies with a shy smile on her face.

"We like having you here too." Welf told Wiene.

Wiene smiled from ear to ear.

"I do have a few things to talk to you about lady Hestia." I told Hestia.

"What do you need to talk to me about?" Hestia asked smiling.

Hestia loves being of use. She usually doesn't have much use (as a 'god') other than working to bring in money for the Familia. So, when she can be of use or of some help, it makes her so very happy.

"First, I was told I can give the Xenos, Companions so they can have a human form. That means I'll have to stay in the dungeon for two or three days. I'm guessing I should get your permission to take that time away. And I'm sure Wiene and my Team will want to go with me as well. So, they will need your permission to take that much time away as well." I started.

Hestia giggled. "You and your Team stay in the dungeon for two days at a time anyway. So, I don't see much of a difference between you going adventuring and going to visit the Xenos to give them Companions. You don't need my permission to do that. Just let me know when you're leaving and when you get back." Hestia told me.

I nodded my head in understanding and gave Hestia a slight bow. "Thank you, lady Hestia. We will be leaving right after I talk to you and let my Team know what is going on."

"That fine. Are you going to stay for supper then?" Hestia asked me.

I look at Wiene, she was nodding her head vigorously up and down. It was obvious she wanted to stay for supper.

I chuckled. "I think I've been out-voted no matter what I want. So, we'll be staying for supper." I told Hestia.

Hestia giggled at Wiene's enthusiasm about staying for supper.

"I have a couple more things to talk to you about, lady Hestia." I let Hestia know.

"Okay, go on then."

"It's still about the Xenos. Since they will be able to take human form once I give them Companions. I wanted to ask if they might be able to live here at Hearthstone Manor." I ask Hestia.

"All of the Xenos living here?" Bell asks.

"I'm not sure that would be a good idea. Having one monster living here is one thing, but having several could cause us a lot of problems." Hestia said with worry on her face.

I nodded my head in understanding. "I understand your concerns. But they will be in human or demi-human form, so no one should find out that they are monsters, and they will all have Normalization so even if everyone were to see them in their natural forms, they will think there is nothing out of the ordinary about them." I tell Hestia. "Now, don't think I'm arguing with you about it, I'm just pointing out that most of your concerns should be mitigated."

Hestia smiled. "I understand that, and you do make good points. But I'll have to talk to the rest of my Familia and see what they think." She told me.

"Although there are two of the Xenos, other than Wiene, that want to live here at Hearthstone Manor if you will allow it." I told Hestia. "One is a Siren, and the other is a Harpy. I saved the life of the Siren, and I named her Sky because she didn't have a name yet." I said and looked over at Bell.

Hestia caught me glancing at Bell when I said I had saved Sky in the Dungeon and giggled. "I see. As I said, I will have to talk to the whole Familia about letting more Xenos stay here and see if they will accept them here or not." Hestia told me.

I nodded my head in understanding. "I figured you or we would have to let everyone know and get their approval. I hope that they will be allowed to live with us even if the Xenos as a group won't be living here." I told Hestia.

"Well, we already have one Xenos here. I don't think two more would be much of a problem." Welf put in.

"Thank you Welf. I appreciate that." I tell Welf. "I don't like doing it, but… I can change people's minds if I need to. Other people's minds, not Hestia Familia member's minds, that is." I added looking at Hestia.

"The next item is, if the Xenos do get to live here, if it would be possible to give them a falna. They don't really need one because they can 'rank up' just by eating magic stones. Wiene is already equal to an upper level two adventurer, and if she goes into the dungeon and eats magic stones she can 'rank up' to level three fairly easily. The goblin named Lett is equal to a level four adventurer. So, a falna is not really needed for them to get stronger. Plus, Uranus is supposed to talk to the Guild to see if the Xenos can go into the dungeon without belonging to a Familia. Although I'm sure they will need to 'look' like they belong to a Familia for appearances sake." I tell Hestia, Welf and Bell.

"But with that being said. I was wondering if you would see if they can receive a falna or not while they are in their human forms. If they can, would you allow them to join the Hestia Familia. I know you will have to think about that, and it also goes along with them living here."

"Now if they are not able to live here, I was thinking they could live at Folkvangr and buy it from me or us. That way they would have a place to live above ground if you don't want them to live here. Although I do hope you will allow Wiene, Sky and Fia to keep living here and maybe one or two other Xenos. If you allow the Xenos to live here or they live at Folkvangr and look like they are in the Hestia Familia, Uranus and the Guild should back your decision and go along with the impression that they are members of the Hestia Familia." I finish.

Hestia looked thoughtful. "That is a lot to think about, and I will definitely have to talk to all the members of my Familia about it." Hestia told me.

Again, I nodded my head in understanding. "I expected that lady Hestia."

Her expression changed to confusion and curiosity. "How can the Xenos live at Folkvangr? You don't own it. And Freya won't let monsters live there." She asked.

"Haah haah haah." I chuckle. "I don't own it yet. I have plans to take care of that shortly." I informed Hestia. "But that can wait until later." I said to put that information to the side for now.

I thought for a moment. My eyes got big, and I grinned. "Or… because of the abilities I received, I can do many new things and I can 'learn' to do even more new things. Which means any universe I go to; I can learn the 'magic' they use in that universe. That means I should be able to learn how to use Arcanum magic, so 'I' can give them a falna. I could start my own Familia and the Xenos could be in it. Ha-ha-ha-ha!" I told Hestia and started laughing.

Bell, Welf and Hestia stared at me with wide eyes. "B-but you s-said you're not a god." Hestia stated.

I grinned and nodded my head in agreement. "I'm not a god, BUT as I said, I can learn the magic of any universe I go to. That means since I'm in this universe I can learn the Arcanum magic. Or at least I can learn how to give a falna and how to upgrade someone's status. If I learn to do that, I should be able to give the Xenos a falna so they could be in 'my' Familia. That would solve a lot of problems with the Xenos." I explained.

"How could you get away with that? So many people know you as Eilwyn. How would you get away with pretending to be a god?" Hestia asked.

I grinned at Hestia. "You forget that I can make myself look like anyone or anything I want with my shapeshifting ability. I can shift to look different than I do now and be the patron of the 'Xenos' Familia. In fact, that is what I could go by, Xenos, because it means stranger and/or foreigner. It's something to think about anyway." I said and shrugged my shoulders in a non-committal way.

I cocked my head to the side. "Although, if I can give the Xenos a falna, I could be their Parton. But I could still be a member of the Hestia Familia. That would give me cover. Or I could fake my own death and become Xenos, the patron of the Xenos Familia. And of course, Xenos would be good friend with Hestia, Miach, Hephaistos and Take' and their Familias." I offered another option, ending the subject for now.

"Now I need to let my Team know what is going on before supper." I told Hestia. Then I looked at Wiene. "Do you want to stay here with Hestia, Bell and Welf or do you want to go with me to tell Iris, Cindy, Kimmy and Rosni?" I asked Wiene.

Wiene looked at Hestia then she looked back at me. "I want to go with you, Eilwyn." She told me and grabbed my arm and hugged it to herself.

I chuckled. "Why am I not surprised." I said, pulling my arm from Wiene's grasp and put it around Wiene. I give Hestia a small bow and walked Wiene to our room.

I told my Team what I had told Hestia, Bell and Welf. "You can take a few days off and relax or if you would like you can go with me to the Xenos's new village while I give them Companions." I offered.

Cindy without hesitation. "I'll go with you." "I'm in." Iris said. "We are a Team, and we go into the dungeon together." Kimmy said. "I'll go too. Someone has to make sure you don't do something stupid." Rosni said with a grin on her face.

"Okay, we'll leave right after Supper. Wiene wants some of Mikoto's cooking." I told my Team.

Wiene nodded her head up and down quickly. "Yes, I like Mikoto's cooking. It's so good." She admits.

I chuckled at Wiene's response.

At supper there was some talk about taking the Xenos in and them living with us. Or the Xenos living somewhere else on the surface. If the discussion got too deep about the Xenos it was stopped for a while. Hestia only wanted everyone in the Familia to know what was going on and what might happen, and it was to give everyone a chance to think about what might happen.

After supper, I informed Hestia and the others that my Team was going down to the new Xenos village to give the Xenos Companions.

"Do you think that is a good idea, Master Eilwyn?" Mikoto asked.

"Mikoto's right, what if it gets out that you gave Companions to monsters?" Welf added.

I waved my hand as if brushing the questions away. "Uranus said I could give the Xenos Companions. So, I don't think there will be much of a problem and if there is… I have ways to counter any problems that comes along." I told them.

"That worries me as well." Lili said.

I chuckled. "As well it should." I told Lili and winked at her.

I ported my Team and Wiene into the dungeon to the Xenos' new village.

As soon a Fia saw me she ran up to me and acted as if she was going to put her wings around me. But she stopped short and blushed.

I smiled at Fia and gave her 'Extra Arms'. "Now you can hug someone and not have to worry about damaging your wings." I told Fia.

Fia looked at her new arms with an expression of surprise and awe on her face. The next thing I knew, Fia was plastered to me, hugging me as tight as she could. I returned her hug and rubbed my hand up and down her back.

After seeing Fia hug me, Sky walked up to me also. I gave her 'Extra Arms' as well. As soon as Fia released me Sky put her new Extra Arms around me and hugged me tight. I returned her hug with a smile on my face.

A small crowd of Xenos were standing around us watching. Rei was one of them, she had a bit of a sad expression on her face as she watched Fia and Sky hug me. I looked at Rei and gave her 'Extra Arms'.

Rei looked like she wanted to hug me, but with Ski still plastered to me, Rei turned to one of the Xenos beside her and hugged them instead.

While I was at it, I gave all of the other harpies and sirens Extra Arms, so they can take care of themselves by using their own hands.

I had brought one of my interdimensional laptop computers with me so I could take notes of what each Xenos wants for their Companion. It took two days for me to talk to all of the Xenos, those that can talk anyway. Those that can't talk, I read their minds or asked yes or no questions.

The morning of the third day I told Lydo I was ready to start giving the Xenos their Companions, and to bring them into a small chamber in groups of five.

Once each group had received their Companions, I explained about them being able to talk to each other telepathically or mind to mind, and that each 'person' can use any and all of the abilities their Companion has along with any physical abilities such as strength and agility would instantly be applied to the Companion's partner. I also told them that if for some reason they, the Xenos, attacked any of the Hestia, Miach, Hephaistos or Take' Familia's members, the Companion's abilities would not work against us. "And I will warn those Familias to not attack any of the Xenos or they will incur my wrath. But as long as you are in your human or demi-human forms there should be no problem."

I took my time creating the Companions and explaining everything to each group. Because of that it took several hours for me to give every Xenos a Companion that wanted one. There is a handful of Xenos that refused to take a Companion. Those Xenos will probably be staying and living in the hidden villages in the Dungeon. Although I did give all of the Xenos Normalization no matter if they wanted a Companion or not.

Once each group had their Companions and left to get acquainted with them, I had a member of my Team go with each group to help where they were needed and to answer any questions the Xenos might have.

My Team and I stay for a couple more hours to answer any questions the Xenos might have.

"We will keep in contact with you. If you need me for anything, just send one of your Companions to me and I'll get here as soon as I can." I told the Xenos.

"I gave anyone that cannot talk a limited telepathy. That means they can talk mind to mind with anyone they want to that is within ten feet of them. All they have to do is think about talking to the person or people they want to talk to and think of what they want to say. If someone is between ten and twenty feet away, they have to yell at the person or people for them to 'hear' it. This is only one way. The ones that can't talk cannot read anyone's minds." I told the Xenos. "Although anyone that I gave the limited telepathy to, should still needs try to learn how to talk, that is they need to learn the different words and what they mean." I added.

Fia and Sky walked up to me. "May we come with you?" Fia asked for the both of them.

I smiled. "I haven't received an answer about the Xenos staying at Hearthstone Manor yet… but I think the two of you can come for a while." I told Fia and Sky. "Besides I have a way for you to fly in your natural forms and no one will know about it outside of the Familia." I told them. "But you'll have to wait on that for a little while."

Fia and Sky looked confused. I chuckled. "Sorry about confusing you. For now, you both need to change into your demi-human forms. That way lady Hestia will be more willing to let the both of you stay with me.

I had pulled up some pictures of half elves and chienthropes on my interdivisional lap top computer, for the Xenos to look at and give them ideas of how they might look in their new human or demi-human forms.

They found pictures of what they wanted to look like and with my help and the help of their Companions they were able to shift into their human or demi-human forms.

Fia changed into a Chienthrope form and Sky changed into her half elf form and Wiene changed into her chienthrope form also.

I ported my Team, Wiene, Sky and Fia to Hearthstone Manor.

Once back at Hearthstone Manor I found Hestia to let her know my Team was back. I also let her know about Fia and Sky.

With that dealt with I escorted Fia and Sky to our room so I could show them the PD and the house we live in, in the PD.

"This is the area you two can fly around in, in your natural forms and no one will know you are monsters." I tell Fia and Sky. "But if you want to fly outside of the PD, you can do that by changing into your bird forms and fly around the city." I suggest to them.

"We can fly here in our real forms?" Fia asks me.

I nod my head in agreement. "You can fly in here all you want in your natural forms, in your bird forms or in your Manticore forms. The only people that will see you are my Team and I, Wiene and some times other members of the Familia." I tell them.

As Fia and Sky are spreading their wings both literally and figuratively. [Fels, it is Eilwyn.] I send to Fels.

[Oh, Mister Eilwyn, it is a surprise to hear from you so soon.] Fels sent back with shock in his 'voice'.

[I've given all of the Xenos their Companions. I'm waiting to see if Hestia is able to give the Xenos a falna if they are in their humanoid forms and I'm also waiting to see if Hestia will allow the Xenso to live at Hearthstone Manor. She wants to talk to the whole Familia about that.] I told Fels.

[It is good that the Xenos have Companions so they can live on the surface. I can understand why lady Hestia would want to talk to all of her Familia before allowing the Xenos to live there.] Fels told me.

[Hestia is letting Fia and Sky live here for now along with Wiene. At the moment they are enjoying being able to fly around all they want.] I tell Fels with a chuckle.

[I don't understand how they can fly around, and no one will see them.] Fels sent confused.

I chucked again. [I'll explain it later. But I have one last thing. I need you to come to Hearthstone Manor. I'll answer your questions when you get here.] I tell Fels.

[Intriguing, I will arrive at the Hearthstone Manor shortly.] Fels tells me and ends the conversation.

About a half hour later, Haruhime arrives at our room with Fels.

"Thank you, Haruhime. If you don't have anything to do you can stay if you wish." I offer.

Haruhime bows to me. "Thank you, lord Eilwyn. I will take you up on your offer after I change out of my work clothes." Haruhime tells me then leaves the room.

"Hello Fels. I'm sorry for startling you like that, but telepathy is the only way for me to get in contact with you." I tell Fels.

"Think nothing of it. But you said something about the Xenos flying at Hearthstone Manor." Fels shifted subjects to one of the reasons he is here.

I motion to the door set on the wall. "Right this way." I tell Fels and open the door.

As Fels walks up to the door he stops and turns to me. "How is it possible for you to make an opening to another world?" Fels asks me.

"It's not another world. It's what is called a Pocket Dimension. It is a small area within this dimension that holds some land and a house." I give Fels a short explanation.

"And they call me a mage. You are an amazing mage yourself." Fels complements me.

I smile. "Thank you. It's just one of many abilities I have been given." I tell Fels.

"That's Cinnamon, she's one of my Teammates. She likes flying in her natural form as well." I reply with a grin.

"You go into the Dungeon with a dragon!?" Fels asked shocked.

I nod my head, yes. "Oh, yes. She's the runt of her clutch, so she wants to prove to her family that she can be big and strong. She can naturally shapeshift, so she spends most of her time as a human. And don't tell her I told you, but she's a real sweetheart." I tell Fels.

"Cinnamon gives Fia and Sky a run for their money when they race. But Fia and Sky are better at the obstacle course, so they even out. But that is not the main reason I asked you here." I started.

"No wonder you have no problem believing in talking monsters." Fels tells me.

Fels looks at me or at least I believe he is looking at me. It is difficult to tell because the hood of his robe covers his face. "What might that reason be?" He asks me.

"That would be the main reason." I tell Fels and point to something coming towards us.

A moment later a winged manticore comes to a stop in front of Fels and looks up at him. "I would like to introduce Puran to you, Fels. He is your Companion. He has the ability to shapeshift which means…" Fels cuts me off.

"Which means I now have the ability to shapeshift." Fels looks down at Puran. "Why would you give me one of the Companions, Mister Eilwyn?" Fels asks me.

"I gave him to you so you will be able to shift into a humanoid form. That way you can go out in public, and no one will know it is the mage of old. I figured you can pick an Elf or Half-Elf as your humanoid form. That way you won't have to deal with people always coming up to you since most everyone knows Elves don't like being touched and are, to be kind, haughty." I said grinning.

Still looking at Puran. "Yes, that might work." Fels said with some excitement in his voice.

"Puran will tell you everything he and now you can do, but I'll tell you this part myself. Puran and you now have more magic. Most of it isn't extremely strong but it is useful. And you have two 'breath' weapons. You can breathe them out of your mouth, or you can shoot them out of your hand like Bell does with his Firebolt magic. You can breathe Ice and/or Lightning and unlike your magic which can be used a few times a day. Your breath weapon can be used as often as you want or need. Although if you use it as a breath weapon to much, it could cause you to get dizzy from breathing in and out so much, so fast." I informed Fels.

Mortarion gets his kid a turtle. Quiet, relatively small, won't run away. They live long, which means Mortarion won't have to worry about his kid breaking out in tears because their pet died from old age any time this century. Actually does quite intensive research on different turtle species to make sure his kid gets a good pet. Gets them a tank for it and everything. (I don't know how but that turtle will somehow survive the Heresy).

Fulgrim spends a long time thinking about the perfect pet for his child before eventually he decides to settle for a classic; a cat. A very rare, ridiculously expensive breed. It's a good thing he gave it to his kid because had that cat belonged to Fulgrim then he would have treated it like an accessory, I'm sorry but that's the truth. His kid don't give a shit about what breed it is, they name is something silly like Stinkus ("Because they stinky!") and Fulgrim has to live with that.

Have you seen that artwork with gladiator Angron sitting next to a dog? Yeah, I love the idea that Angron likes dogs so, with that in mind, I think he would give his kid a dog. A wardog, of course, bred for combat. Still just a pup though. Practically shoves the puppy in the kid's arms. "This is your responsibility now". He acts like this is only a lesson on responsibility but he just wants his kid to be happy, ok? Has to look away whenever he sees his kid play with the dog because if he doesn't then everyone will see the soft expression on his face.

Magnus gifts his kid a Gyrinx, a cat-like xeno animal that forms strong bonds with their owner and enhances their psyker powers. Like this, the pet is not just a trusted companion but also helps them focus their growing psychic abilities. Does urge his child to be kind and gentle with the animal, they may not be sentient but they are still a living being with feelings. Also advices his kid to read up on Gyrinx and learn more about the species, so they can better take care of them.

If his kid is going to have a pet, then Perturabo demands it to be something useful. That's why he ends up giving his kid a falcon. Or, well, the 30k equivalent of a falcon. It's a bird of prey that they will train to hunt and fetch things. Perturabo honestly sees it less as a pet and more of a tool. Probably names the bird for them because he does not trust that they will chose a proper name. The bird is named Aegis or Talon or something basic like that.

After some careful thinking, Alpharius and Omegon gives their kid some kind of... chinchilla? Squirrel? It's a xeno animal, small enough that a child can hold in their hands, covered in fine fur and it has ridiculously big ears. It also has razor sharp teeth and its saliva is poisonous. Their kid is fine though, they have the antidote in case they get bit. See it as practice! Be nice and get the animal to like you and you have a cute pet! Be crueal and neglectful and you'll get mauled by small teeth. A very valuable lesson.

Lorgar gives his child a bird, something similar to a dove. Small, only the size of a baseline's palm, and with soft coos that sound like bells. He thinks it's a good pet that will teach them to be gentle and careful with those smaller than them. Then, as his child grow older and more responsible, he gifts them more birds until eventually, they have a whole flock. What? His kid deserves all the birds in the world.

Of course Horus gets his kid a dog. Then another one. And one more. His reasoning? What kid does not like dogs? Kid ends up with 5 dogs that follows them EVERYWHERE. They sleep in the kid's bed, follow them to their lessons, eat by the table etc.. They are truly inseparable and the kid honestly spends more time with their dogs than they do with people. Horus then has the gall to act surprised when his kid tells him they like dogs more than humans. Like, geez Horus, how do you think this happened?

At first, Konrad didn't even consider giving his kid a pet but then he heard them say they felt lonely (they don't have any friends) and so he decided to get them an animal. So he gives them a rat. Just a random rat he found. It's small and easy to replace if something happens to it. Didn't really expect his kid to grow so attached to it. It can do tricks now? It responds to the name 'Haunter'? What?

Contrary to what some of you might think, Sanguinius does NOT get his kid a bird. No, Sanguinius gets them a cat. A real fluffy one that needs to be brushed daily. Unlike Fulgrim, he does not really care about what breed it is, as long as it is healthy and will live a long life. Instills in his kid the importance of being gentle with animals (and people) and to treat them with respect. Is he teaching his kid empathy using a cat? Yes, yes he is.

Ok, so look, Corvus decision to get his kid a pet happens spontaneously. He's away somewhere (mission, meeting, whatever) when suddenly he finds this tiny, jet-black kitten. When he gets close, it hisses and bats its paws at him and he just KNOWNS that his kid will love this thing. Awkwardly gives it to them, telling them to take good care of it. Secretly checks up on the cat, just to make sure his kid is taking care of it. Sneaks it treats and pets it when no one it watching.

Ferrus gets his kid an aquarium full of fish. But like, really, really weird fish, adapted to the extreme circumstances of other planets. I'm talking fish that make deep sea marine life look like guppies in comparison. There's also a couple of crustaceans in there. Mostly sees this as a way to teach is child how living beings adapt to different hardships and get stronger because of them.

Rogal thought long and hard about this. At first he thought the perfect pet would be an ant colony but then one of his brothers said that was a stupid idea so he scratched that idea. So he ends up giving them a bear cub instead. What? It can be tamed. And look, his kid already likes it. Though he still thinks his initial idea with the ant colony was the superior one.

Vulkan choses a lizard native to Nocturne. A dog-sized, sturdy thing, long living and quite pretty, with obsidian scales speckled with the occasional red. A very popular pet for children on Nocturne and he had several himself when he was young. Probably caught it himself and brought it back for his kid on their birthday. Take good care of it, child, these things lives up to a hundred-and-fifty!

Listen, Lion does not want to get his kid an animal. The only animals he know are the beasts that he fought in the forests of Caliban so he does not exactly like animals overall. But if he has to? If he really, REALLY has to get his child a pet? A bunny. Small, quiet and when they grow tired of it, then they can just cook and eat it. Perfect. Gets confused when he mentions eating the rabbit to his kid and they burst out crying. Like, he didn't say it was going to happen NOW. Lion, buddy, they are five years old and you just told them you were planning on eating their adorable little buddy, what did you THINK would happen?

Come on. We all know what animal Leman gives to his kid as a pet. That's right, a fenrisian wolf, still just a pup. Chose this one pup because it reminded him of his kid and he thought they would be the perfect match. Pretty much gives his kid free reign on how they train and nurture the pup though he does urge them to make it clear that they are the leader or else that wolf is gonna walk all over them once it grows up.

Jaghatai is a horse-guy, of course he gives his kid a horse. A young colt that recently lost its mother and needs someone to care for it. Perfect for his kid! When it gets older, they can ride it, and when they grow too large, they can run beside it, just like Jaghatai did when he was their age. Expects them to take good care of the horse but otherwise leaves them to it.

Roboute of course goes with the obvious choice, a dog. On his kid's birthday he hands them a puppy and tells them that this is a big responsibility and that they need to take care of and train this animal with the same dedication that he looks after the Ultramarines. He was being a bit overdramatic but when he sees his kid command the puppy to show off a new trick it learned with the same tone as a general commanding troops, he can't help but feel like he did a great thing.

I am not gonna list every possibility for every possible ending or love interest for Sol here but prolific parent Sol is said to parent "dozens of children" - with a plural s! - while in peace timelines the council asks them to keep it in the low twenties, and the only number that really fits both criteria is twenty four. Twenty Four. Twenty Four fucking children holy shit oh my God Sol what the FUCK-

If Cal doesn't end up with Sol and Tammy is either dead or with Sol herself, he eventually settles down with Helio hydroponics farmer Bluebell "Belle"; They have an insane ten children together, including two sets of twins, as they both are eager to help the colony grow as much as possible.

If Sol and Cal stay together and Tammy is still alive, she eventually settles down with a pair of Helio soldiers, Pyrite "Py" and Obsidian "Obi", having been a surrogate for one of their three kids together, and then going on to have the trio's collective fifth child (the one made "the old fashioned way").

If Cal and Tammy either start dating in game or start dating in the epilogue, including Echinacea the two of them go on to have an even more insane twelve children together, including a set of triplets and a set of twins.

If Vace and Anemone aren't broken up, then they canonly have three kids together in the epilogue. (While text in the game files covers if they stayed together after Vace got therapy, I'm fairly certain that the game itself requires them to be broken up for Vace's final love event to happen.)

If Vace gets the therapy he needs, then he later goes on to have four children with fellow Helio soldier Hyacinth "Cici"; they attempted to go for an even mix of boys and girls, but they grew up to be all girls.

The one pregnancy Marz will surrogate is for Helio soldier Protogenos "Gen", another one of Rex's lovers; Although the kid does call Rex dad, there's never any assumption she's their mom.

The children Tang might create with her genetics are the only ones not fully accounted for in my headcanon list atm, and this is just because it would include needing to make a paradox not-sibling for each child for timelines where Tang does not give her dna to any children; The only two that I've settled on right now are a pair of twins born to and raised by Helio (ex-)soldiers Intelligentsia "Jenna" and Bastion "Bas", with both parents having their own twins

Rex, forever the maddest of lads and a prime example for why you need to spay and neuter your cats and dogs, could have anywhere from eight to seventeen children calling him dad from four to eight co-parents (with many of them not being in relationships with one another), and that's before any possible children he might have with Sol are added into the mix; Irregardless of how he's not the biological father of many/most of those children, I think that Tangent wants to strangle this man a little anyways

Bonus round! Auntie Seedant (or Nannie Seedant now) could have anywhere from nine to eighteen grandchildren; Stratus will eventually go on to have to children with his future partner doctor Enlightenment "Ten", Cumulus is guarenteed to have seven children with his future partner xeno whisperer Effervescence "Ves", while Cirrus might be a co-parent six children with farmer Nectarine "Nena", and we already covered Anemone's maybe kids above; Nimbus never has any direct children of his own, but he has a lot of kids in his own way, growing up to be (one of) the colony's future teacher(s)

Hi! I love your xeno ideas for inklings and octolings. I was wondering if you have any xeno stuff on salmonids and/or jellyfish?

I threw these together in like 5 minutes so pardon the quality haha

I tend to draw Salmonids kind of seal-like, with chonky proportions. The men are the ones that turn red during Runs, whereas women are usually silver or copper-coloured. This guy here is an adult Cohock, most Salmonids don't make it to adulthood so you could say he's pretty experienced.

Salmonids have both gills and a labyrinth organ, allowing them to breathe air so long as their gills stay wet. Since they have no legs, these fish are pretty clumsy and rely strongly on water to get around and to, y'know, breathe. There are some wheelchair/skateboard-like contraptions that have been used roll around on land though.

I tend to keep jellyfish pretty similar to how they look in-game, only pronouncing the bell a bit better and also changing the arms to resemble the oral tentacles of real jellyfish. This fellow right here is a harmless Moon Jelly, however other species can have stinging nematocysts in their tentacles which makes for a pretty killer handshake.

Jellyfish entirely lack the ability to speak at all so they have to rely on either nonverbal/sign language or TTS machines to communicate. Also, their mouths are underneath their bodies. It's really weird.

Talos struggled to open his eyes. It was just supposed to be a routine acquisition of new recruits. Get in, grab a few kids, and get out before anyone noticed them. He knew going for that helpless little girl wasn’t part of the plan, but they were needing a new small body to get into the small spaces in the ship ever since the last kid got torn apart by some beast in the bowels of the ship. He was so preoccupied in his own thoughts he didn’t even notice she wasn’t putting up a fight, and when he finally felt his body react to some danger in the area, it was too late. He was already slamming into the ground, falling unconscious.

Groaning, he tried to bring a hand to his face to rub his blurry eyes but was unable to. Forcing himself awake now he realized his hands were chained above his head. Testing the cuffs around his wrist, panic planted its first seeds into his gut. Whoever had done this knew who they were dealing with. Talos wont be going anywhere as long as he's restrained like this. 

Sending his attention to the rest of his body he found that he was naked save for a piece of cloth covering his groin and, just as he figured, his legs were also chained down with his feet shoulder width apart. Finishing his body scan, he couldn’t notice any pain anywhere in his body other than the dull throb in his head from when he met the concrete in his fall. Talos decided that if he was going to be stuck here for the time being, he should at least get a grasp of where exactly we has when the sound of someone shifting grabbed his attention.

In a dark corner of the room he was in sat a woman, no he quickly realized, that was a female drukhari. Rising from the chair she was sitting in he could take her in fully now. She seemed to be just a head shorter than him and was all long, lean muscle. Each calculated high heeled step she took towards him accentuated the strength of her thighs under the fishnets she wore. She seemed to be wearing something closer to a thong than actual pants, the waistband sitting high on her hips. Her top offered just as little protection as the rest of her outfit. A studded patchwork bra in colors that looked sickeningly close to human skin cupped her breast. It offered enough support to keep her from spilling out of it but let her breasts bounce erotically with each sway of her hips.

“Ah, look who finally decided to wake up to play,” the drukhari woman purred.

Coming to a stop just in front of Talos, she raised a hand to gently cup his cheek.

“I was worried I was going to have to wake you with less…enjoyable measures,” she said rubbing her thumb across his bottom lip.

Talos tried to pull his head away but failed due to how his arms were raised above him.

“Don’t touch me you filthy xenos,” he spit out, baring his teeth in anger.

Her laugh filled the small room, a mix of musical bells and nails on glass.

“Tsk tsk tsk. You should be nicer to the only person who could let you leave here alive,” punctuating her threat by slowly sinking her nails into the fat of his cheek. 

Talos could feel drops of blood slowly make their way from the moon shaped wounds but dared not move unless he wanted to rip the skin of his cheek off.

“What do you want from me?” he all but gowled out.

Finally looking at him in the eyes, he could now see they were the color of dark blood, she gingerly removed each nail from his cheek. A smile that showed too much teeth spreading across her thin face.

“What do I want? Well, I just want to have a little fun,” tracing a finger across his pecs, “I saw you and your brothers as soon as you all came into my little city and just knew,” she said as she started to circle him as prey, “that I needed a big strong boy like you.”

Coming back to his front, she took a small step back to fully take in his naked body. Talos had never felt so helpless, not since he was a child on Nostramo. Her words sent a shiver down his spine but also caused a dull throb in his lower stomach that he tried to ignore.

“Your city? This is a feudal world in the heart of Segmentum Solar,” Talos said.

An annoyed sign escaped her lips as he rolled her eyes.

“Yes yes, it is. But you see, I’ve been…vacationing here for some time. The people here are oh so simple. They still value their young girls on their purity. Have you ever had the pleasure of defiling something so precious?” Talos could see her breathing quicken as she thought of her atrocities.

“I just couldn’t leave once I found a place so sweet for my eclectic tastes,” she said as she subtly rubbed one of her thighs.

The drukhari woman could see the minute shift in his face and giggled to herself, gracefully turning in a dime to walk towards the wall in front of him. Talos swore that she was exaggerating each step to accentuate the jiggle of her ass, a groan low in his throat as he watched. His mouth started to water with the thought of sinking his teeth into the soft fat there, blood starting to rush to his cock. He quickly shoved the thought from his mind as he could see her side eyeing him over her shoulder.

“My brothers will be looking for me. They won't take kindly to some xeno bitch keeping me hostage. I suggest you let me go if you want to continue your…vacation.”

Talos could tell she wasn’t paying attention to his threat, looking down at a table with various objects that he couldn’t make out. He knew that no matter what kind of torture she put upon him, he would survive. Talos had been through worse situations over the years as a Night Lord. All he had to do was bide his time and he would crush her skull in his hands.

“My sweet Talos, no one will be bothering us during our play time. I have already made sure of all of that,” she said as she finally chose two objects from her collection. 

Turning back to him, she pointed a long stick of some sort, smiling from ear to ear.

“You know I have never had one of the biological monstrosities of your emperor before. I have heard so many wonderful things about your bodies,” she said as she came back to Talos, bringing the stick right under his ribs. “I have always wanted to try this, my past pets couldn’t handle it.” 

With that she pressed a button and a lighting strike surged through Talos’ body so unexpectedly he almost bit through his tongue. Blood dripped from his mouth as he tried not to scream out in pain. Just as quickly as the pain came, it stopped. Talos sagged and if not for the chains, he would have fallen to the ground. A giddy laugh echoed around him.

“Oh dear, I do apologize. It seems I got a little ahead of myself,” she said between her giggles.

The drukhari came to face Talos head on, using the electro stick to push against his forehead, bringing his head up to look at her. With her other hand she brought the second object she had brought from the table and lifted it to his mouth, pushing against him to open his mouth. Too tired to fight against her after that shock, he opened up and allowed her to situate a hard rubber guard between his teeth.

“There, now you won't damage that pretty mouth anymore. It's a good thing you beasts heal quickly. I’ll be needing that fat tongue of yours a little later,” finishing off her sentence with a light slapping of his cheek, the crescent moons of her nails already forming light pink scars.

“Now where were we!” she exclaimed as she bounced in place, tits obscenely bouncing with her.

Chapter 38

Saving the Xenos

I hear Wiene's calling me in my head. [I hear someone screaming for help! Is this what you told me would happen!?] Wiene sent. I could feel her fear and anxiety.

[I'll be there is a moment.] I set to Wiene.

I was in my Team's house in the PD. "Wiene called! She heard the screams. I'm going!" I told my Team. I had already talked to my Team about what would happen when I received the message from Wiene. Iris, Cindy and Kimmy knew to inform Hestia and the others.

I ported to where Wiene was in the dungeon. "Eilwyn! You're here!" Wiene yelled in her excitement at seeing me.

"Everyone wait here. If you go with me, you'll get in the way. It's a trap for you to walk into." I told the Xenos and Wiene. Then I started running in the direction Wiene indicated.

I did a mental search to find where the Ikelos members were. Once I found them, I ran to where the chamber they are in, is. I walked into the chamber where a Siren was chained to a stone collum. "Hello Dix! You can come out now!" I called as I searched the area telepathically to see where the members of the Ikalos Familia were in the chamber. "There is no one else coming to your little party." I added.

Dix walked out into the open. "Only one lone human? Where are the talking monsters?" He asked smugly.

I found several of the Ikalos Familia scattered around the edges of the chamber. They were hiding in the shadows and using camo. "Isolation!" I called. I had been working on being able to close off the minds of people when I needed to. To either prevent them from being able to do anything, as a punishment and/or as an example of what could happen to them. 'Isolation' causes the person's or people's mind to close off, receiving no information, no sight, no hearing, no talking and no touch. They are locked in their minds, totally isolated in their own head's.

I could hear several bodies fall to the ground. Dix looked around, then called out. "Where are you!? Come out!" But there was no response.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha!" I laughed at Dix. "You're all alone, Dix. No one's coming to help you. I know you're not going to give yourself up." I admitted.

I walked closer to the Siren and healed her. Then used my telekinesis to break the chains restraining her.

I reached out with my telekinesis to grab Dix. I didn't want him going anywhere. I turned to the siren. "Do you have a name?" I asked her. It looked like she might try to flee which made since because Dix and his group had tortured her. So, she would not trust a human.

[Wiene, you and your group can come here. It's safe now. And you should stay in your Vouivra form.] I sent to Wiene.

[We are on the way.] Wiene sent and I could feel how happy she was to be able to return to me.

While I was waiting for the Xenos to arrive. "I'm Eilwyn and I'm friends with the Xenos. The Xenos are 'monsters' that are like you. Most of them can talk or learn to talk, they are intelligent, and they want to live above ground." I told the siren. "If you don't have a name, I would like to give you the name, Sky. I think it suits you nicely." I suggested. "If you don't like that name, feel free to pick something different." I added.

The siren kept looking at me. I wasn't surprised because of what some humans and demi-humans had just done to her. So, I will wait until the Xenos arrive. "A small group of Xenos are coming this way. So don't be surprised to hear some noise…" I pointed in the direction I had come from. "From that direction."

While we waited for the group of Xenos that was with Wiene. [Fels, I have Dix and a few others of the Ikalos Familia. They are the ones kidnapping the Xenos and other monsters and selling them on the black-market. If you would come down here to help out and let the Ganasha Familia know about what the Ikalos Familia have been doing and that they need to send a party down to our location.] I sent to Fels. I also sent Fels our location so he could let the Ganasha Familia know where to go.

[That was quick.] Fels replied. I could feel his surprise and awe at how fast I had captured Dix and some of the Ikalos Familia members. [How many did you catch?]

I shrugged my shoulders even though Fels couldn't see it. [Around twenty including Dix. You might have Uranus get the guild to go after Ikalos and the rest of his Familia, so they don't get away.] I suggested.

[I will do that right away. Then I'll head down to your location.] Fels responded.

[I'll leave this connection open. Let me know when you have informed everyone and you're on your way down. Although, I have a friend that can get you here a lot faster than walking.] I told Fals.

[Yes, I will do that.] Fels replied and paused for a moment. [I would rather walk to your location.]

I chuckled at Fels's response.

Shortly the Xenos arrived at the chamber the siren and I were in. Wiene ran up to me, flung her arms around my waist and gave me a big hug. "I love you Eilwyn! I'm so glad you weren't hurt!" Wiene exclaimed.

I returned Wiene's hug. "I Love you too, Wiene, and after all of this gets cleared up, the only time we'll be apart is when I go into the Dungeon." I told her.

I motioned to the siren. "And this is a new member of the Xenos." I said.

I turned to Ranieh the aracne. "There are several humans around this chamber on the ground. If you would be so kind as to tie them up, please." I asked Ranye.

"Is this a trap?" Ranieh asked me.

I chuckled. "If it was a trap, I would not tell you, now, would I?" I asked. "They are all knocked out so they can't do anything." I informed her. "Other than Dix that is. As you can see, he's still awake, but he can't do anything or go anywhere." I added.

I turned and spoke to the Ikalos Familia members in the chamber. "[You will listen and do what Ranieh tells you while you are in this chamber. None of you will try to fight any of the Xenos physically, magically or any other way. No matter where they are. You all will stay in this chamber until you are tied up and someone from the Ganesha Familia takes you out of this chamber.]" I said to the Ikalos Familia members in the chamber including Dix, and pushed into their minds so they would do as I had told them. Then I motioned to Ranieh to do her thing. "They're all yours. Just dont hurt them… to bad." I told Ranieh with a grin. I released the Ikalos Familia members in the chamber from 'issolation'.

If someone is left in 'isolation' for too long they could go insane and as bad as the Ikalos Familia members are, I wanted them in jail not insane.

I looked at Dix. "[And you, Dix, will not use your curse magic on any of us here or on the Ganasha Familia. You will not use your curse on anyone while you are incarcerated.]" I told him and pushed into his mind.

"You're a hypocrite. Do you think you can help monsters and humans?" Dix accused me.

I grinned at Dix. "Hypocrite; a person who pretends to be something they are not or who professes beliefs and opinions that they do not hold." I told Dix the meaning of hypocrite. "No hypocrisy here. I go into the dungeon to kill mindless monsters. Now if you're saying I'm a hypocrite for not killing human monsters that live above ground. Then you would be closer to being correct there. Because I've left you alive and you 'are' a monster, I've left your god alive and he is a monster, and I've let other humans and demi-humans live that are monsters. But as far as not killing intelligent creatures that want to be free and want to live in peace with humans. Then no, I'm not a hypocrite." I told Dix with an ear-to-ear grin on my face.

Dix went silent and turned his head away from me.

Fia looked at the Siren. "What is your name?" She asked.

The Siren looked from Fia to me then back to Fia. "My name is… Sky." She told Fia.

"That is a nice name." Fia told Sky. "You are among friends now." Then Fia pointed to me. "Even Eilwyn is a friend if you will allow him to be."

"He healed me and released me from the chains the other humans used on me." Sky told Fia.

"Eilwyn helped me when I was being chased by monsters and humans. He protected me from the humans that were trying to hurt me and took me to his home on the surface. I love Eilwyn." Wiene told Sky.

"He gave me, my name." Sky added.

Wiene giggled. "Eilwyn gave me my name too." She told Sky and hugged me.

I returned Wiene's hug and kissed her on the top if her head.

While Ranieh was working her way around the chamber tying up the Ikalos Familia members. "Ranieh, I know you hate humans, and you have good reason to. But some of us want to be friends with the Xenos. I'm friends with several different monsters." I told Ranya and showed her the pictures of the Monster Girls, Miia, Papi, Centorea, Suu, Rachnera, Lala and Mero. "They are all my friends, and as you should already know, Wiene lived with me for a week or so and after this she's going to live with me as long as she wants to." I told Ranieh, with Wiene still holding me.

Ranieh sneered. "Humans will never accept us." She said with some anger in her voice.

"That is obviously not true, because I've accepted the Xenos as friends. Bell, Welf, Haruhime, Mikoto and even lady Hestia and all of my Team have accepted you as friends. Lili is a bit of a hold out, but she doesn't hate you and she's not violent against the Xenos. But then I think Lili's more worried that we'll get in trouble with other humans than that she does not like the Xenos." I tried to ease Ranieh's fears.

Ranieh sneered at me. "You'll change your mind and not want any of us around and even try to kill us in time." She told me.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Not likely, since I've lived with monsters for over a year and a half now. Or rather they have lived with me for over a year and a half." I replied. I cocked my head and looked off to the side. "Doesn't really matter, we've lived together for a year and a half."

"Anyway, it would be very shallow of me or anyone else to be 'friends' with the Xenos for a short time then decide to not be friends just because. If that happened, then the person was not a real friend in the first place." I told Ranieh.

"Now, I've given every Xenos here with me what is called Normalization. That means every human will see y'all as normal or as a normal human and at the worst, they will see you as being exotic. As in, they will believe you came from another country, so you don't quite look like they do, but you won't look out of the ordinary or out of place." I informed Ranieh and the other Xenos. "I'll do the same for the rest of the Xenos once they reach the new village. I also have plans to give y'all something so y'all will be able to look human… if you want to. That way you can live above ground."

"Guuhh!" Ranieh grunted and finished tying up the members of the Ikalos Familia.

Ranieh is kind of like Rachnera, in that she doesn't trust humans. Although Rachnera has come around. Hopefully Ranieh will come around in time as well. I left Ranieh alone, I didn't want to push her. That could just make her opinion of humans worse.

After Ranieh had tied up all of the Ikalos Familia members. "Ok, y'all can stay here until Fels arrives or you can go on to the new village." I told the Xenos. "If you want to head on to the new village, Wiene can go with you if she wants to. She can contact me if something happens or if y'all need help. Then I'll get her on my way out of the Dungeon." I told them. "Or you can wait until Fels and the Ganasha Familia arrives before you head ou…"

[Mister Tengee are you there?] Fels sent to me.

I chuckled at his uncertainty. [I'm still here.]

[I am on my way to your location I should be there in two hours.] Fels informed me. [Also, Ganasha is sending a party to take care of the members of the Ikalos Familia that you have captured.]

I nodded my head in understanding even though Fels can't see me. [I'll be here waiting for you.] I replied.

"Can I stay here with you, Eilwyn?" Wiene asked me. I hadn't closed the telepathic link between Wiene and myself so she can hear what Fels, and I were saying.

"If you want to, you can stay here with me. Although I would suggest you change to your demi-human form before the group from the Ganasha Familia shows up." I suggested.

[Mister Eilwyn?] Fels sent.

[Yes Fels.] I replied.

[Uranus said that you can give the Xenos those animals that allow them to turn into humans.] Fels told me.

I chuckled. [You mean the Companions?] I asked.

[Yes, Uranus said you can give the Xenos, the Companions. He would like you to start getting the Companions for the Xenos as soon as you are able to.] Fels informed me.

Again, I nodded my head in agreement even though Fels couldn't see what I was doing. [Sounds good. I'll start as soon as they get to the new village.] I said. [I would suggest the Xenos's human form be set up as a Familia so they can go into the dungeon. I'm not sure if Uranus would be a good choice for the Familia's 'god' because of his position. And Ganesha probably wouldn't work very well either. It might be difficult to find a 'god' that would agree to hosting monsters in their Familia.] I stated.

[Do you think Hestia would be willing to take the Xenos into her Familia?] Fels asked.

[I don't know. Hestia had no problem with Wiene, even though she's a monster and not a member of our Familia. Although hosting a monster in the house is a lot different than giving them a Falna. I'm not even sure if that would work, even if they are in their human forms.] I replied. [I'll ask lady Hestia what she thinks of the idea.] I added. [Although the Xenos don't need a Falna to rank up in level. Wiene's around an upper level 2 adventurer while Lydo and Rei are equal to level 5 adventurers because they fight monsters quite a bit and eat magic stones. Maybe Uranus would be able to convince the Guild to allow them to be adventurers without having a Falna. Then all they would need is a place to live. Again, I'll ask Hestia if they could live at the Hearthstone Manor, or we can find them another place to live.]

[I understand the situation, mister Eilwyn. I will have to ask Uranus about the Guild. We will have to wait and see what happens from there.] Fels sent.

[Sounds good.] I sent.

I looked at Ranieh. "Sorry, Fels was talking to me." I told Ranieh.

"We will go on to the new village." Ranieh told me.

"Just a moment." I told the Xenos. I gave them a quick overview of the conversation I had with Fels.

"That means any of the Xenos that wants a Companion will get one. It also means I'll be staying with y'all at the new village for a couple days while I get the Companions for everyone that wants one." I told the Xenos that were with me.

Fia seemed excited about getting a Companion. "When will you start getting the Companions for us?" She asked.

I chuckled. "It'll have to be after Fels gets here to take charge of these people, and I can get to the new village." I said motioning my hand around the chamber to the Ikelos members.

"I will stay so I can guide you to the new village once Fels arrives." Fia said excitedly bouncing up and down.

I looked over at Ranieh with raised eyebrows.

Ranieh nodded her head, yes. "If Fia wants to stay and lead you to the new village, she can do so." Ranieh told us.

"Thank you." Fia and I said in unison. Fie, Wiene and I started laughing.

Once I stopped laughing. "Ok, I'll be seeing you later." I told Ranieh and the rest of the Xenos.

The Xenos said their good-byes and started to leave.

Sky looked at the floor and had a shy expression on her face. "My I stay with Eilwyn too?" She asked. It looks like Sky was getting over her fear of humans or at least over her fear of me being a human. The fact that I had rescued her and healed her was probably a big part of her not being afraid of me anymore.

I looked over at Ranieh again. Ranieh didn't look very happy, but she nodded her head in agreement.

I turned to Sky. "You can stay with me while we wait." I told her.

Sky smiled and stepped closer to me.

Wiene hugged me and looked up into my face. "I want to stay here with you, Sky and Fia." She told me again.

I put my arms around Wiene and returned the hug as I looked at Wiene. "I would really like that. Although I'll have to port back to the manor to let everyone know what is going on. And I have to talk to lady Hestia about the Xenos to see if they can live at Hearthstone Manor. If Hestia says no to the Xenos living with us, then I have another idea of where they can live. But I can deal that after we get to the new village." I told Wiene, Sky and Fia.

"I hope they can live with us." Wiene said with some excitement. "But where would they live if lady Hestia won't take them in?" Wiene asked me.

"I will shortly take care of Freya, one of the 'gods' and I will own Folkvangr, the Freya Familia's home. It's bigger than the Hearthstone Manor, so it would be big enough to house all of the Xenos and plenty more." I told Wiene. "But don't tell anyone about that until I say you can talk about it.

"I won't tell anyone. You would give the Xenos that house?"

I shook my head in the negative. "No, I'm not going to give them the house. I'll sell it to them. Most of the Xenos are strong enough that they can be adventurers and the ones that aren't strong enough can get jobs somewhere and earn money. Then with all the money they earn and get from adventuring they can buy the house from me."

"Oh, that's how it would happen." Wiene said a little confused. I don't think Wiene fully understands commerce yet, if she understands it at all. I'll have to teach her about that.

"Do you think Hestia would let me live with you…? I mean at the manor too?" Fia asked blushing.

I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know. I don't see why not, but it is still up to Hestia. Although if you're in human form most of the time, Hestia should be more likely to let you live with us." I told Fia.

Sky moved close enough to me that are arms were touching. Or rather her wing was touching my arm. "Would I be allowed to stay with you as well?" She asked shyly.

I smiled at Sky. "As I told Fia, it is up to lady Hestia. Hestia is the person in charge of our Familia." I told Sky.

I took my arms from around Wiene. "Give me a minute or two." I told Wiene. "I need to do something."

Wiene dropped her arms from around me.

I walked over to Dix and found the 'key' to get into Knossos. I held it and gave it a good looking over. Now I will be able to make a copy of the 'key' anytime I needed one. The original 'key,' I'll give to Fels. Then I went back over to Wiene, Fia and Sky.

I put an arm around Wiene, who snuggled into me. I reached up with my other arm and placed it on Sky's back. I didn't want to scare her by putting my arm around her waist or shoulders. Sky jumped a little, but when she saw it was my hand on her back, Sky leaned into me a little. Just what I need… another girl in my harem.

We talked about this and that until Fels arrived. Once Fels arrived, I told him about Knossos and how to get in and that there is a very good chance more of the Ikelos Familia is in Knossos, as well as some Xenos and monsters they have captured. I also inform Fels that there are other Familia's in the Knossos labyrinth. The Thanatos Familia being one of them. I give Fels the key I took from Dix. I also inform him of the six doors into Knossos in Daedalus Street and the one on the 18th floor.

After I tell Fels everything he needs to know. Fia, Wiene, Sky and I head out to the new Xenos village.

"May I ask you a question, Eilwyn?" Fia asked me.

"You can always ask." I tell Fia and I turn to look at her.

Fia was starting to blush, and she was looking at the ground. "W-when you first sh-showed up at the village and we attacked you… when I attacked you and Wiene. After you blocked my attack, you said…" Fia stopped talking and looked around as we walked. Fia looked everywhere except at me.

"Go ahead." I told Fia. I had an good idea of what she wanted to say or ask me.

Still not looking at me, Fia continued. "You told me… 'N-nice try… g-good looking.' Did you really mean that, or did you say it just to try to distract me?" Fia finally got it out, but her face was bright red from embracement.

I wasn't going to embarrass Fia any more than she already was, so I wasn't going to act like I misunderstood her and say, yes it was a 'nice try'. I nodded my head, yes. "Yes, I meant it. You are good looking. In fact, you are a very attractive girl." I told Fia.

I used the word 'girl' instead of monster or Xenos to show Fia and Sky that I didn't think they were any different than humans or demi-humans.

Fia kept looking away from me, but I heard a very soft "Thank you." From Fia and she stood a little taller.

To change the subject to help Fia with her embarrassment. I started explaining about the Companions to Fia and Sky. The abilities they can have, how many different animals they can change into with Level 1 and level 2 if they have Shapeshifting (and they will). I also went into what I thought Fia's and Sky's human/demi-human forms should look like.

"I would suggest you could stay the same height but for being a human or demi-human you both should have a little more weight than you do now. Fia you can change your 'hair' to dark brown or brown with red highlights to it and green eyes unless you want to keep your brown eyes. And Sky you could go with blue hair and blue or teal eyes. And I wouldn't want either of you to change your faces much, but it would be good to change them a little. Maybe your cheek bones a little higher and darken your skin tone a little. You want to look different than you normally do, but you don't have to look totally different." I suggested. "And possibly going with a cat person or Chiethrope that is a dog person. If you don't want to be touched by humans or demi-humans, you can go with being an Elf or half elf. Most everyone knows they don't like being touched by non-elves unless the other person is a very good friend. That would throw people off for thinking you are a 'monster'." I added making finger quotes around the word monster.

It didn't take much longer for us to reach the new village. Once there I told Lydo and Rei that I would give every Xenos a Companion if they wanted one. I explained what a Companion is, and that I needed to talk to Hestia about staying with the Xenos for a few days. Then I ported to the Hearthstone Manor with Wiene, to explain what was going to happen and that I would be gone from Hearthstone Manor for a few days.
