• Xanxus has a shitty immune system and gets sick a lot

• He's touch straved

• Definitely sleep deprived

• He's Squalo's bitch (lol, jk. But not really 🤣?)

• Xanxus is a picky eater (this is literally canon) and also has issues with food

• He's secertly a soft boi and only Squalo knows (because duh it's Squalo)

• He's an introvert and prefers to spend time alone (sometimes with Squalo)

• He's got anxiety (lol, I'm definitely not self-projecting)

• Xanxus gets agitated if he doesn't have anything to do or stays still even for a while. It gives him zero point breakthrough flash backs.

• Probably has ptsd (like definitely from what he's gone through)

• Xanxus is emotionaly constipated and can't express his feelings properly. So, he just expressess it with violence or he's an akward grumpy mess trying to talk about feelings

• When he can't sleep, he often goes to Squalo's room.

• He's a power bottom (but also very needy and Squalo's always happy to oblige.)

• Xanxus can be clingy (but only while super sick or after a bad day or nightmare.)

• He needs alot of affection and reminders that everything's gonna be okay

• Xanxus is like a cat (a very grumpy cat)

• He has trust issues (obviously)

• Xanxus sucks at taking care of himself and has to be forced to rest

• He can't stand the cold and gets migraines every winter

• Xanxus is always in pain but is so use to it he doesn't feel it and won't know he's injured until he's passing out from blood loss or someone points it out or it gets worse

• He's immortal (anime logic aside. No one can survive being sealed up for eight years and the sky ring's rejection.)

• Him and Squalo secertly have a shotgun wedding after the ring battles in mafia land (the only people that were invited were Dino and Xanxus' guardians)

• Xanxus goes to Lussuria for advice (mostly cause Lussuria is the mom of varia and is the only one who gives good advice without needing to pay a fee and doesn't suggest murder as a soultion)

• Xanxus eventually accepts Tsuna as decimo (and teaches him to be less naive)

• Xanxus watches baby cartoons ( he never got to watch them as a kid and they give him comfort when Squalo’s not around. Though he'll deny it until the day he dies.)

• Xanxus wants Timoteo to love him or at least treat him more like a person instead of a tool to be used and discarded

• Xanxus genuinely needs time to grieve (the deaths of his adoptive bothers and the eight years that were stolen from him)

• Timoteo & his guardians don't take the varia seriously (and treat Xanxus like trash) .

• Zero Point Breakthrough screwed with Xanxus' sense of direction so his guardians put a tracker on him (definitely wasn't happy to find out)

Honestly, he's always thought of Bel and Fran as his, from the moment he first laid eyes on them. But he didn't acknowledge it, not even to himself, until Tsuna defeated him in the battle for the Vongola Rings. Since then, he's been more open and vocal about his father figure role in their lives.

He doesn’t want to involve anyone in his battles because he doesn’t want them to get hurt

This is especially true for you because he loves you so much

The fear of him losing you is more than he can bear

So when you asked him to train you, he flat out refused

But you weren’t happy about that so you went behind him back

You were still part of the Vongola and you needed to know how to fight

When you and Tsuna were ambushed out on a date one day

Xanxus is another one that likes to act as if he doesn’t give two fucks what you do

But it’s a lie because he loves you

When you expressed interest in learning to fight, he agreed to teach you

After all, if you’re going to learn, you’re going to learn right

And only he can teach you properly

Like hell is he going to let some other person teach you

Training sessions with him are hard as fuck

And most days, you truly think you might just die

He pushes you harder than anyone else because he believes in you

He knows that you are strong and can handle it

And he even rewards you after each successful training session with whatever your heart desires

When you moved to Italy you had been warned about the dangers of the mafia and to keep your wits about you

Still you were expecting intimidating guys, or people who could obviously be part of the mafia. Not the kind but somewhat blunt and still slightly prone to cursing man you had befriended

You had met Xanxus while trying to find your way back to your apartment, but after multiple failed attempts of asking for directions, took refuge in a bar

Xanxus had been sitting beside you when you guzzled down his drink, distraught.

In the past he would have gotten mad but now he simply asked you what was wrong, and once you didn’t respond to his Italian he asked you in English

He ended up giving you directions, a few insults peppered in for how easy it was to get there

Since then you two began to hang out more and more

You even met the rest of the Varia as well! Though you didn’t know it was the varia

Yet when he so casually began to mention missions and hitmen in normal conversation you grew a bit suspicious

When you asked about it he told you straight away, that he was the Xanxus, leader of the Varia and famous in the mafia underworld

Lets just say you were quite shocked

You heard rumours, but he was meant to be hot headed and cruel, not mellow?!

It took a while getting used to it, but you soon realised that being linked to the mafia had it’s perks e.g. free textbooks

It also meant free protection

but alas, you can’t believe your luck. After openly attempting to avoid the mafia you managed to befriend one of the most powerful members of it

Well at least your time in Italy wont be boring right?

• Ricardo’s like who the fuck is this guy why does he know me should I deck him? Haha, just kidding. But wow they’re like why are our women so similar?? What are the chances?? Oh great now they’re whispering among themselves what are they planning? I don’t trust it. • They’ll never know about how the both of them are gossiping about things their boys do and what annoys them and what they like and also are giving tips on how to trick them into spending more time with them. • And also giving each other tips on how better to fight dickholes who are rude to them or insult them. Don’t take shit from anyone, ever! You don’t have to fight physically to win, you can destroy them with words then punch them in the jaw. So they learn a lot from each other and it’s very nice. • Ricardo’s s/o is the one who has a bit more knowledge in just about everything and is very informative and helps out Xanxus’ s/o quite a bit. Their men are pretty similar so it helps. Though they have their differences of course, so little changes in tactics are needed. • Xanxus is easy to manipulate because if you try to seduce him even a little bit he’ll absolutely be up for it. Like even if he’s busy he’ll drop whatever if he feels like it and no one can stop him he’s the boss. Or especially he’s always up for drinking with his s/o, so long as they aren’t a bad drunk, he really will not deal with someone who is a stupid bitch when drunk. He won’t put up with it. But just chilling and drinking is fun, especially if you want to fuck around too. • Ricardo, on the other hand, really gets off on sparring with his s/o. Now, it’ll take some convincing in the first place cause he’s so freaking strong he knows you don’t have a chance and he doesn’t want to hurt you, but he can absolutely get persuaded and it doesn’t take as much as one would think. But though he tones down a lot when fighting his s/o, he’s really just trying to help them get better, but they always take him by surprise and is better than he expects so once he starts having fun sparring with them he just gets so turned on. He’ll fuck them right there and just hope no one walks in. • They really are both very strong women, and they only get stronger the longer they’re dating their guy. People wouldn’t expect much from them at first glance, which is why they always try and mess with them. And immediately get destroyed by them and their sudden temper, and then their scary mafia boyfriends show up and they get even more scared. Thankfully the s/o already dealt with it so the boyfriend doesn’t actually do much to the mean guy except laugh and mock them (unless they did something really horrible then they’ll have to die)• All around the meeting is kind of awkward. Xanxus knows about who Ricardo is, he doesn’t know them, then their girlfriends are all gossiping about who knows what and they’re both lowkey worried about what they’re talking about. But it’s cool, man. It’s a nice day. Everyone goes home better.

Varia Hierarchy, thoughts?

Didn’t I answer this in another ask?

No, wait, that was Varia Ranks wasn’t it?

Okay, Varia Hierarchy is politics at it rawest. Work has to get done and organized and people put to work they’re good at, get training to be better and more. People need supplies, food, weapons, training tools. There’s vehicles to maintain, equipment to keep track of and of course managing people.

Assassins are creatures of politics. If you’re important enough to get assassinated, it involves politics. Sometimes it is just personal politics between a few people. Sometimes it’s economical politics like taking out a rival businessman. Sometimes it’s just business to remove an embarrassment. Generally assassination is a matter of influence of the victim; otherwise it’s just plain ole’ vanilla murder.

So most Varia are pretty adept at politics, even if they couldn’t care less about them. One of those ‘just because you know how it works, how to fix it or how to do it doesn’t mean you want to.’

It might come across as lazy that the Varia have a kind of ‘kill and be promoted for it’ but it’s more of a matter of efficiency.

The Varia likes their efficiency. It’s why they can afford to be so extravagant. Custom uniforms, custom weapons. Private jet remember? Private jets are practically money sinks. It’s why they’re a status symbol.

So mission squads are set up in small groups; a couple of people means taking shifts, more hands and bodies to move stuff with, more support for those doing the killing by being eyes in the sky, watching the road or the desk or whatever. Is it really needed to have a full squad to kill one person? No, but it reduces the likelihood that the assassin would die in doing so or get caught or whatever. (The Varia’s secret to success is teamwork.)

Anyway, mission groups tend to end up as friends; that’s human nature to bond with those around you, especially in stressful situations. But also it’s likely to have people bicker over plans, so Squad Leaders are needed. They say how it is going to be and that’s how it is.

Now who decides who is going on what mission and where? Sure it can be done by each individual Squad Leader but it’s honestly easier to have a set list of missions available which means having standards set for accepting them. So Varia’s got to have Information people who analyze the requests, do digging for more information and so on.

Okay so who decides on Squad Leaders? The Squad? Yeah, that works. Sometimes. What happens when a job needs doing and you’ve got strangers to work with? Need someone above the Squad Leader.

Need some sort of manager or officer position. So what would they do and how? The Varia still needs to run efficiently. So other than riding a desk, what else do they do? Assign training, approve training, move people around, smooth issues out with other people... other over reaching duties that individuals cannot do like source and maintain equipment, run finances, see to recruitment and more. Higher position means more work.

Okay so if you’ve got people that are now above the Squad Leaders, how are you dividing the people out? Preferred killing method? How they’re cross-trained? What? In KHR we’ve got this handy thing called Flames, so it’s easy to sort people out by Flame-type. Which makes Flame-training an Officer responsibility, because Squad Leaders don’t have to share a Flame-type.

So now you’ve got Officers but who’s in charge of the whole organization? Who represents the Varia to the Vongola? Why the Head of the Varia. Who is that? One of the Officers or someone appointed to that position.

Yeah, Varia Hierarchy doesn’t seem like raw politics but it is; it’s walking the knife’s edge around other professional killers who might take offense to what you do, what you say, how you say it or to any of your decisions. It’s a personal choice to use administrative authority or personal ability to deal with this person. It is using charisma to gain respect, ability to earn it and quick-thinking to keep it. Otherwise... you might end up dead.

Statistically most Officers die at the hands of their subordinates in war. Just sayin’ that as a reminder.

Roughly put: Officers are scary impressive people even for those with Varia Quality and Izzy headcannons that more Varia Officers have died due to internal issues than missions. Most Varia would like to avoid Officer positions because retiring to the grave becomes more likely to happen that way.

Addendum: It never stops amusing Izzy that Xanxus has a position in the Varia because Squalo said so and gave him the work. Which technically makes Xanxus the subordinate. Except Squalo then promoted Xanxus above him by giving him the Head of Varia position

I figured out how to use ask! I'm loving the Dark Shika content, ShikaNaru in general is one of my fave ships, and there isn't nearly enough of it. About KHR, the biggest issue is that due to its origins as a gag manga, the abuse never stops being played for laughs. I often like to read fics where, the moment that "comedy" aspect is removed, the treatment of the main character gets infinitely better. Because from the serious moments, u can see the abuse isn't IC for many of them. (1)

(2)I never got into the guardian bashing thing, really, because first of all, all of the guardians are children. Age range is 12/13/14 with a 5yr old thrown in. It is on the adults to notice the abuse and take action, and to expain to the kids how Tsuna is being hurt. If they are not told, and all their responsible role model figures are acting like its fine, they won't understand. On top of that, all of the kids have their own issues, storm and rain are probably depressed, for one thing

(3)cloud is often headcannoned as autistic, the mist only hurts him when they are literal enemies, the Sun probably doesn't even consider the idea his strong and cool "little bro" could ever be abused, and so on. Even with all that, the storm and rain become ride or die for the MC the second they become friends with him. I mean Talk Shit Get Hit philosophy that moment on. Anyone who isn't what they consider a responsible adult who cares for MC gets beat for one wrong word. I love them.(4) the adults though, who should know better... Yeah, no sympathy there. Spicy anons, rip them to shreds, I'll back you up all the way.

(5)An anon mentioned that khr subscribes to the law of shitty parents and yeah, its kinda true. The only decent parent is the rain's, but the rain still ended up screwed over by his classmates until he felt like the only way he could be worth something was by sacrificing his mental and physical health to One Thing that made his classmates happy (with how they got to use him and not do any work themselves). The big issue with the kids in this manga is that the adults not only allow, they enable.

(6) to bring this little rant to an end, I'd like to mention that I absolutely hardcore second the recommendation for Sincerely, Scattered Shards because it is gorgeous, heartbreaking art and will take u for a ride. For some other recs, try Force of Nature by Ramabear featuring Xanxus reborn as Kakashi. Path of Gold by Adel Mortescryche. Story of an Author by Renegade Warrior. Also, everything by FruitPastilles, they wrote some of the fic that got me into fandoms in general. A good starter pack.

HIBARI.

He wants to know what he did wrong.

“Nothing,” you say. “You did nothing, and that’s why it went wrong.”

The talk is all around awkward. But he was the one that barged into your house, your room, and demanded an answer as to why you left.

It feels weird, to lay yourself and all your fears and insecurities where he can see it—he’s in complete control and he has the power to demean you, to invalidate you, to dismiss your fears; call you weak or sensitive.

He does none of that. “I’m sorry,” is what he says instead. He understands, somewhat. He’s never been the most emotionally receptive person and it’s something that he knows, at least.

“Do you want to try again?” Hibari asks. He’s upfront about this, at least.

You try not to dwell in that. “Yes—but, not right away.” Your hesitance makes it look like you don’t want to be with him, but that’s not true. “Remember the time before we were together, and we were working our way towards getting together because we both knew that we liked each other but we didn’t know each other enough?”

“Yes.”

“Can we go from there?” Because you had left; your heart was burden with too many questions and unanswered confessions of love that you were starting to wonder if he ever did love you, or did he only do it to make you stop pining?

But no, Hibari wouldn’t do that–he’s not that kind of person. If he didn’t like you, he’d let you know. And that’s what kept you with him, until you couldn’t convince yourself anymore.

He agrees; being with you was easy. Your presence didn’t annoy him like everyone else’s did; you loved him, wholly and selflessly and he wanted to fix it. He knew how to battle–how to turn the tide with his strength but this? This was different and new, requiring a different kind of strength that he didn’t want to share with anyone but you.

The road forwards is slow. There are minor mishaps, where you ease back into routine so gracefully and effortlessly that you forget the chasm that had stretched between you. Then you remember. You always remember and the spell fades just as quickly and Hibari sees the moment you distance yourself because you’re afraid that it will hurt again.

He’s patient. He tries, this time around—his speaks with actions, not words. You realise that you were reading him wrong, expecting him to adhere to your language when he was already well-versed in another.

You just hadn’t been listening.

Once you’ve made that realisation, it’s easier. You still remember the hurt when he let you walk away, but you remind yourself that it wasn’t because he didn’t care—he cared too much. About you, so he let you go because he prioritised what you wanted over what he wanted.

It’s a quiet afternoon. Hibari’s grooming Hibird and you’ve just come back from the store with some seeds for him. You brush Hibird’s soft feathers with the tip of your forefinger, and at Hibari’s disgruntlement, you laugh and kiss him on the cheek.

Hibari notices, of course, that it’s your first step to bridging the divide, even if it was an absentminded action. Because this time, you hadn’t shut yourself down when you realised what you’d done. You smiled and told him that you were putting Hibird’s seeds away and that you’d be back.

The second time, he’s putting on a band-aid after a little accident with Roll. You’ve gravitated towards him, and you don’t move away. Instead, you thank him for patching you up and kiss him on the cheek again. A second too late he angles his head to capture your lips but you’re already off to apologise to Roll for scaring her.

It’s an ache that heals. It’s a gradual process that brings you closer to him when you’re in bed; it’s in the way you no longer hesitate to take his hand; it’s in the way your skin burns when you’re too close and you want him back the way you had him before but you don’t want to move too fast—and he knows.

Hibari knows and he waits.

It’s after a particularly stressful mission that the Vongola Guardians get sent on that you realise how slow you’ve been taking it; how much you could have missed out because you were afraid.

Hibari was sent to scout and contain an enemy station but it had been an ambush–they were waiting. They thought they had enough power to take down the Tenth’s Cloud.

They didn’t.

But they were close.

Hibari spends the next few days recuperating, even though he insists that he’s fine and everyone is overreacting. You’re at home, and due to the fact that you’re a civilian, the only thing you know about this is that Hibari’s work led him to some trouble. You’re not allowed to see him.

The days in between, when no one will tell you how he is, are the longest days you’ve ever experienced. They crawl by excruciatingly slow, you don’t sleep, and you’re fearful that every notification on your phone is bad news.

The day he does come home, you cry and gather him in your arms. He settles the both of you the couch and you straddle him, holding him, breathing him; not wanting to lose him.

You fall asleep, and after Hibari gets in touch with Tetsu, lets you slumber when he’s informed you’ve been awake the past three days.

When you wake, you know that whatever it is that you’ve both been waiting for, the trigger that lets you move on, that happens today.

“Hibari.”

He looks up, gaze lifting from the book in hand.

You pluck it from him, bookmark his page, and place it aside. You sit in his lap, legs on either side. “Is this okay?”

“Yes.”

You smile. “Good. I’m– um, I’m ready to move on. To get to whatever’s next with you. To get back to what we were. But better.”

The way he looks at you is so soft, so reverent, and wanting all at once. “I am too.”

You bring your face down to his, lips meeting slowly, sensually. You’ve forgotten this, forgotten how he feels, how he tastes; deluded yourself into thinking that you could live without.

This reminder leaves you gasping and quivering as he takes you to bed. He lets you control the pace the first night—does what you tell him.

You know what it’s like, now, for him to give up that control. You’ve learned his language; you understand him better.

XANXUS.

You don’t fall asleep—Xanxus does, but that’s mostly because he’s intoxicated and needs to sleep it off. His arm is an iron band, keeping you in place.

You’re conflicted. You’re want to succumb to this position (this familiar yet foreign position because you’ve never quite seen him this desperate to hold on before), but you know that this is a momentary lapse in judgement—that once he awakes, he’ll reevaluate his choices and want you gone.

You rest your eyes, instead. You’re not asleep, just closing them and fooling yourself into thinking that this could have been your future. But the alcohol that permeates the room, Xanxus’ clothes, his bed tampers the illusion.

He wakes up, then; you can feel it in the way his arm tightens around you, an instinctive reaction and you wonder how many other people have had the pleasure of waking up next to him. You don’t hate him for that, no—you just hate yourself for thinking that you could have been different. You’re not special, you remind yourself.

Your eyes stay shut, because you no longer want to look at him, to face the reality of what happens next. You relax your body when he moves into the bathroom to clean himself up.

When he comes back, you’re still in that position, curled towards the centre of the mattress, your eyes closed.

Xanxus moves towards where you remember the closet being–somewhere behind you. “I know you’re not asleep,” he says.

You open your eyes, staring at the curtained window. You don’t want to turn around.

You do. You flip to your other side. Xanxus is standing in front of the opened door to the closet, pulling on a white shirt. You see the expanse of his stomach; toned muscles and scar tissue.

“Then why’d you let me stay?” you ask, distracting yourself from looking at him. You shift  your gaze to his face as he buttons his shirt.

“Moment of weakness.”

“Right.” And there it is—the reason you left. This was a man that refused to show emotions, that would prefer to dwell and stew in his negative ones that admit to saying that he had people that he loved and cared about. “Well, if this means you’re fine and back to being you, I guess I’ll be going.” You push yourself from the bed, finding your shoes where you toed them off last night. You perch on the edge of the bed, slipping them on.

“Who said it?” Xanxus asks just before you make it to the door.

You roll your eyes. “Who said what?” Quite frankly, you’re tired of his cryptic mystery vibe.

“Someone said something. Made you feel insecure, so you left. Who was it?”

“Why do you care, Xanxus?” You turn, meeting his gaze; he’s stepped away from the closet; shut the door—he doesn’t have a tie on, the first few buttons of his shirt not yet closed. “You let me leave.”

“You wanted to go.”

“I wanted you.” You don’t realise you’ve walked closer to him to prove your point. “All of you. Emotionally. Not just for—”

“Sex?” He steps closer; you have to tip your head back to look him. “I could’ve had anyone for that.”

“Right,” you say, summoning a brief self-deprecating smile. “Thanks for the reminder.”

“But I didn’t have anyone—I had you.” His eyes are intense, alight; his voice is measured; paced out, factual. “Against better judgement because you were weak. You’re still weak.”

You lower your gaze from his eyes, hating the fact that you can feel the tears burning even though it’s been months—you shouldn’t love him anymore but everything in you wants you to.

“You haven’t left this room yet because you’re still hopeful; you still want to be here. You want to believe that I still love you, even though you were the one that walked out.”

You see him move, large hands reaching out to cup your face, to direct your gaze onto him.

“You want to see the good in people that don’t deserve it. People like me.” He thumbs away the tears in your eyes. “To me, that makes you weak—but I still chose you. I let you stay.”

You feel like your heart is stuttering.

“Was that emotionally aware enough for you, Y/N?” he asks.

You chuckle, raising your hands to his, moving them away from your face but keeping your fingers wrapped between his. “Wow, that was a lot of words. Are you sure you’re still not drunk?”

“I can be. I still have some leftov—”

“Just fucking kiss me, Xanxus.” You pull your intertwined fingers towards you and he surges forwards, letting go of your hands.

He lifts you up easily, your legs around his waist; your arms over his shoulders as your mouth meets his. His fingers dig into the fabric of your pants, clutching, tugging you closer; giving you some semblance of stability as you rub yourself against him. You entertain the thought of him taking you upright—the idea of it makes your insides clench; you need him, want him.

You spend the rest of the day with him, in this room, refamiliarising yourselves with your bodies, your sounds; the way different way you prove that you love each other.

You’re curled to his side, finger tracing the outline of a scar near his collarbone. “I love you,” you say, and before either of you can think about what his response could be, you continue, “and I don’t want to lose you.” You keep your eyes trained on the scar, avoiding his eyes. “But I don’t want to be trapped either. I don’t want to stay just because I’m scared that you’ll do something stupid or worse if I leave again. Because then it won’t be love—it’d be…”

“Fear.” His hand closes over your roaming finger, drawing you closer, your chest against his. “Manipulation.”

You swallow thickly, meeting his gaze. “Yeah. I don’t want that.”

He resolves to work it out, to make it better. Because you’ve made him weak too, but this is the kind of weak he’ll accept if it means having you.

Flame Thoughts: Sky Types

When I was going over how I thought about Flame Mechanics and such the other day, I started really, really thinking on the Flames themselves, Skies in particular.

And if we can have multiple types of Skies, as for by Xanxus and his Wrath Flames, I was thinking what other kinds could we get? So thus, here we are with Sky Types :D

Pure Skies; basically, these would be like Yuni and Tsuna, a quality and purity of Flames very rare, making them the rarest of Skies. As shown, they would have great effects in fighting and defense, but their true power is actually in healing fixing things, there Harmony Factor through the roof. (But then again, just because something can be described as ‘Pure’, doesn’t make it good; just as a medince can be a poison under the right circumstances, there are sayings such as Pure Evil after all.)

Intense Skies: This is what Xanxus and Byakuran would fall under in my opinion; very large Flame outputs and very strong, intense flames at their command, they also would probably be the most emotional driven of any Skies. Of course, what emotions drive them can differ from Sky to Sky, like from wrath to even glee, any emotion just has the effect of making their flames stronger. Now where Pure Skies would be willing to be more passive, going with the flow, Intense Skies are more of ‘bide my time until I can fuck/fix things up.’. And Intense Sky is actually a perfect protector, but because Mafia is Mafia, they became more like Fighter/warriors (Then again, sometimes offense is the best defense.)

Now that I have probably covered the more canon versions of Skies, lets cover more of my fan creations :D

Dense Skies: Basically, their flames are very, very thick. These Skies would be best as defense, also not bad at comforting those around them, there flames not to far from feeling like on of those thick, woolly blankets you throw over someone to be nice and snug under (Of course, it could also be said that they can be suffocating, to tight in their grips, smothering you ever so sweetly in their grasp.) Though, these type of Skies would be pretty good at subtle manipulations, from going through an act to be underestimated to simple plots and ideas to strengthing others. I would say Dino and Iemitsu are Dense Skies, just to show you the scale they can fall on.

Adherent Skies: Now, these Skies get their name for two reasons; their flames not only have a sticky quality to them, seemingly staying with others even after they are long gone, but they are natural supporters. Whether they need to cheer you up after a bad day, to even helping you overthrow the government and save all of the peoples, these Skies seem to have the best mindset for a follower. (Of course, they can be clingy at times, can stick so hard to a person, they choke the very life out of them for their own gain; after all, life can make a follower or leader out of anyone.) These Skies are actually the most likely to develop another element, maybe even use that one more over their Sky if it feels right. Fuuta and Squalo would be these type of Skies :D (yes, sometimes I headcannon Squalo as a Sky >.> He is just very loyal and prefers Rain, not liking how sticky his Sky ones feel...)

Broken/Mended Skies: Next to Pure Skies in rarity (and for very good reason at that), these Skies, unlike the others were not born this way; they were broken first. Not many Skies, when broken, burnt, and/or abused just so to the point past no return can actually ever recover, at least not easily. It would take a lot of will power, resolve, and emotional dedication to carry on after that, continue down their path to chose to live, changed as they are. Not many can do it, some of them just remaining broken, living in a fog and never coming out. Others, on the other hand, when they hit bottom, well, they have no where else to go but up, so they do. Their flames will usually have a jagged feel to them, cutting and sharp at times, maybe like the snap of a whip, or even the burn of an explosion. (and yet, sometimes, they can be so unbelievably gentle and downright kind, because, after all kind people are kind because they know firsthand that life isn’t.) Of course, none of them actually like being called broken, so sometimes they’ll say they’re Mended, Darning, or even Kintsugi Skies. (Which would give some pretty cool tattoo idea :D)

Hello! Could I request some headcannons of Xanxus, Hibari and squalo being doting and protective fathers to a little girl.

I actually have a whole multi-part fanfic planned for the children of Vongola! Sooo this ask allows me to spill about three of the kids since each of them actually have daughters in mine! lmaoifIeverwriteit - zappy

I feel like he would come across as overbearing and they might clash because of how strict he is with them 

He knows just how bad it could be for a girl in the mafia world so while she’s young she is never out of his sight

He has her trained by himself personally which is actually pretty good bonding 

Though he is strict… he is a very doting dad and though he wont spoil her too much he’s easily swayed

He learned how to braid hair from Luss 

God help whoever says a bad word about her and he catches wind of it

She’s his “trash (angel) baby” 

He personally would come pick her up from school, because he didn’t want her walking through the forest to the mansion alone but also to intimidate off her classmate

His daughter crying? You can hear his heart shatter with her sobs and then immediately the heat of his rage 

When shes out she has to call him at least twice to make sure that she is ok,he allows her freedoms as she ages but his trash baby is still his responsibiity

Hibari

They’re his cub and naturally anyone who even just speaks about wanting to hurt them is basically dead and gone if Hibari finds out

He would be training them from a young age to defend themselves, but also to be respectable. 

Though he punishes his kids, he is essentially a new Hibari around them, gentler and more patient 

He’ll provide any answers the child asks about, to him keeping them ignorant is one of the worst things to do

Hibird is like a lil guardian angel over  his cub and she is usually waddling around with roll following close behind 

His forms of affection are small but his daughters smile afterwards makes his hard shell crack ever so slightly if theyre around the rest of vongola

No one mentions his smile or how he swiftly pats the girls head and ruffles her raven hair when she hugs his leg

He only lets a select few even speak with his daughter, and when she starts school he keeps tabs on who shes talking to

now that doesn’t mean he always protects her, children need to learn lessons themselves and find the solution themselves

but of course he never lets things get too out of hand

They drink tea and read together a lot, he helps her with the words she doesn’t understand

He is already like a parent to Bel and Fran so he already has some experience

He knows how much kids can be little shits at times and though his daughter is his pride and joy he doesn’t play into her lil hands

or at least maybe not allll the time…ok so maybe a majority of the time he does

he allows her to play with his hair playing “ hairdressers” 

He always brings her back trinkets whenever he is away, and somehow he convinces Fran and Bel to be babysitters

They play pirates ok. I don’t make the rules that’s what training becomes when she’s younger

He provides her reassurance constantly and little praises

“ah finally it’s quiet” “….wait VOI WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WHY IS IT QUIET”

Hi lil trips while he’s out of the country for a missions?? yes

She is his little guppie and they go swimming together a lot aswell as go to aquariums (daddy-daughter dates)

He constantly checks in on her and her interests, because he is Genuinely interested in what his daughter likes

Don’t forget he is super protective, theyre basically always escorted by at LEAST either Bel or Fran

God help her school friends, they’re basically interrogated by him because he wants his daughter surrounded by people that are good for them

the exceptions are those who make her truly happy
