I’ve been thinking about dragons today and I have a very curious question about dragonkins

do you ever think about HOW big you would consider your kintype? Like the general size of the species and age. I would often consider adult dragons be on average to be only a few feet bigger than a blue whale, again this would also depend upon species as well

I’m just genuinely curious and I wanna hear from you.

Forgot to share this, but here it is now! This was a custom plushie of me that I got made for Christmas. The neck is a little short, as I have a very long neck and body, but I love it nonetheless. Absolutely amazing and overall I love it.

You might not be able to see them, but my ears perk up when you call my name - my tail anxiously swings side to side while i’m waiting for something, and my wings stretch out and ache when I gaze at the sky.

You can’t see them, but you can feel them, can’t you?

Wait, all you gold loving dragons hear me out. I either just came up with the smartest or most idiotic idea…

So, my Smaug-self was acting up, wanting to lay and sleep in gold and all that, then I came up with this idea. So first you’d need a large plastic kiddie pool, you can find these almost anywhere during summer or online, then you order fake gold coins online, I found a pack of 1000 gold coins on Amazon. Then basically you just put the gold coins in the kid pool and boom, done!

Or if you want it real fancy, paint the pool gray and add fake rocks to make it look more like a cave or stone

The duality is palpable

sometimes i doubt myself as a nonhuman but then i imagine myself running and i automatically picture my paws, all four hitting the ground rhythmically. When i imagine myself swimming i picture a great tail beating against the water or claws grabbing onto rocks. When i picture freedom i can feel myself flying among the clouds and stars, reality at my very fingertips.

I know this new experience and body can still be wonderful, i choose to experience this life for a reason, but it’s impossible to deny it is not my true form. I know I hold so much more power, and it brings me great comfort in this life to believe i will get back to it again.
