I think the most bittersweet part of being a pigeon therian is that pigeons are so common. I see them everywhere, and it brings me so much joy to see them strutting around, but also. I'm so aware of my human body around them.

YES PIGEONS!! I love pigeons and am currently questioning if I might have a pigeon theriotype! i was out of town in a big city a few days ago and there were so many pigeons just hanging out. I sat down and one of them came over and just chilled with me for a bit before his somewhat more deranged friend came and started poking him until he came along. sometimes I try to pick pigeons up, although that's probably not a great idea. anyways much love to my pigeon brothers and sisters and siblings. y'all are great.

I think I've mostly ruled out Rock Drakes as a kin type. So I'm a Velociraptor Paleotherian (Possibly Indo kin cuz whenever I do have Raptor shifts, I prefer to walk and run on all fours instead of just on my legs.), and Night Fury kin.

Also y'all gonna have to let me know what I'd classify as with Indoraptor. Cuz like it's a dinosaur, made up of other dinosaurs, but it's a fictional hybrid so would it be Therian or Otherkin???

Welcome, feathered friends!!

Welcome to raptors-rapture, an ask blog for all avian alterhuman/nonhuman experiences!! We will post basically any asks we get that are avian nonhuman related. (Hate will be ignored, because why bother?) We'll put trigger warnings in tags as necessary, but do appreciate if any applicable warnings are in the ask as well.

We define "avian" rather loosely here, so basically anyone with wings, feathers, beaks, talons, anything remotely avian-related are welcome to send in asks! This includes otherkin, wingkin, angelkin, etc. (And despite the name of the blog, all birds are welcome here!! I promise I don't bite. Probably.)

This is run by @raysrambles, so if you need anything or have any questions unrelated to this blog, feel free to head over there!

No real DNI, but hate or whatever will just be ignored or blocked. This is a safe place for all avians!!
