got accused of being jealous last time i said this but truly i think wwwyfest is lame as hell. i shan’t get into any potential shadiest in how its run or its weird like. venue set up but at its core i think it panders to the crowd that these bands we love say nearly killed them, or at the very least lead to their hiatuses/break-ups and bitterness. like this is a festival for the “everything after hiatus isn’t really fall out boy” fob “fans.” for the “danger days sucked, bring back three cheers” mcr fans. this is not a festival for celebrating the bands creative or personal journeys that lead them to the joyous reconnection with their old work. this is a “play the hits” festival for the people who bitch about srar/ab&ap/mania songs on the set list and creamed their jeans when they thought “revenge era was coming back!!!” last time around.

i’m sorry if i’m being THAT person but how can brendon play afycso at wwwyfest without ryan??? like i’m sorry i know they performed it together but that’s RYAN’S album and i think we can all agree it delves into some pretty personal aspects of ryan’s life. it always left a sour taste in my mouth when brendon would perform camisado on his own and now the entire album? he couldn’t have picked a later album??

Istg p!atd better not be Brendon!at the disco for Wwwyfest cuz that would be so stupid. Like Brendon is reuniting with himself whats the point of reuniting a band if you're the only one in the band. Plus, everyones hopes would be up to see the whole band back together so seeing just Brendon urie would instantly make the fans a little depressed since they won't see the faces of the band they listened to when they were young and the entire focus of the event is the nostalgia of seeing your favorite bands perform together and not just one person from the band.
