They are my first oc and one I am really proud of. Vex is one of the last of humanity after a mysterious disaster turned everyone into large dark humanoid creatures with bright white eyes and large smile. Vex was nearly turned into one but the suit he wears prevents their transformation from completing. I use them as an outlet to explore my feelings of isolation and how much of society feels threatening to me. Their suit is based off of the Prowler and the Tinkerer from Spiderman. (This started out as a spider-sona.)

It's suit is black with V-shaped indentations going all the way down. These indentations are neon purple, which is meant to be the energy preventing him from transforming leaking out into light. This suit also includes gauntlets that allow him to claw through metal and boots that can release some energy in a burst to allow him to jump further, jump in the air, or kick harder. On top of this suit, it also wears a black hoodie even though the hoodie doesn't actually warm them up. It just looks nice. (can you feel the spider-sona roots yet) Sorry for the bad art

so they’re from a lego ninjago fanfiction. they were born like couple hundred years before even wu and garmadon. they were abandoned as a wee babe as the only condition for their parents to not get divorced, because their mom cheated on her husband. they grew up on the streets morro style, and they knew mystaké, she would give them food sometimes.

they were kidnapped by their bio dad and killed, but someone in cloud kingdom did a silly goofy and revived them with no memories. they were found by jay and nya when they were getting nya’s stuff from the blacksmith shop and were taken back to the monastery to see if wu had any tea to jog their memories. nothing worked, and they ended up staying at the monastery. they have this whole internal conflict about not being able to remember, and there’s a lot of anxiety about it, so they start to sort of chronical the ninjas’ adventures. they give themself the last name “booker” from this.

they became really close with nya because the two of them were alone at the monastery together a lot. they found out that nya was samurai x almost immediately, and joined her as the sundalo (they used the training course to help regain help and whatnot, so they’re decently athletic). they had a bet going on who the green ninja would be, and they won because lloyd’s the literal grandson of god and they’re not an idiot.

they love to cook, and have a lowkey rivalry with zane. they’re always trying to one up each other. when nya becomes a ninja, they annoy wu into letting them be the yellow ninja: “the element of ✨surprise✨”.

they get their memories back in s6 cause of their wishes, plus they wish to never be able to forget and for nothing to undo their past wishes, so they remember everything. they make sure morro gets revived in DotD (he goes off on his own for a bit and comes back during s9).

they don’t get a chance to talk to mystaké in s8 when they see her for the first time since being revived, and she’s dead by the time they get back from the realm of oni and dragons (we love those mommy issues 😔). after zane gets zapped to the neverealm in s11, they go stay with skylor and meet their bestie beep (it’s important to the story, but sadly is a different character. no ranting about beep). they find out that the ninja are trapped in the neverealm when the preeminent attacks again, and they get pissed. one of their responses to grief is that they get really violent.

they end up accidentally hurting beep and nya confronts them on a rooftop (it’s always on a rooftop). they go to therapy. shocking, i know. they also force lloyd to go to therapy and eventually get him an emotional support dog after learning about the whole thing with akita. they’re very silly goofy and much blorbo :D

Also Harumi’s backstory for why she likes Garmadon and hates the ninja including Lloyd, it completely makes sense cuz she was a child that over heard that the ninja didn’t do sh-t and Garmadon saved the city so it makes sense why she hates the ninja and believes Garmadon should be Ninjago’s leader, and since it happened when she was young she didn’t think things through, she didn’t think about it from the ninja perspective and especially didn’t think about it from Lloyd’s perspective cuz she was a child, kids don’t tend to think about the other person’s perspective on things, so I think it makes sense and it’s really good 👌 also this is Ninjago’s first main female villain, all the other ones were either second in command or were in a crew that worked for a bigger villain so yeah that’s cool

“Don’t you guys have any idea what she’s doing? She’s resurrecting Garmadon! Lord Garmadon!” Yeah no sh-t Kai, the name of their gang is “Sons of Garmadon”, of course they know and of course they’re ok with it why do think they’re helping her?

“Then it’s a good thing the Quiet One isn’t a bad guy but a bad girl” It doesn’t matter that Pythor, Chen, Morro, and Garmadon had dicc, what matters is that the greater evil didn’t listen to them dipsh-t.

Harumi screams a lot, like Princess Peach/Damsel-in-distress amount of high pitch screaming and I’m surprised Lloyd or the other ninja haven’t told her to shut up at one point.
