Returning to Night Vale

So...I've been getting back into WTNV after a long time away.

And, by a long time, I mean the last episode that I remember listening to on release day was "Visitors".

With some binge listening while doing accounting work, I've finally reached episode 115!

The only thing is...I'm still mulling over "The Missing Sky" So very much of my heart was broken listening to Cecil...the one in the small city beneath lane 5.

I can't stop hurting for tiny Cecil, something in my heart demanding he have someone to hold him at night. To cradle him close, pet his hair, and let him know he's loved.

In Short: EVERY CECIL DESERVES A CARLOS

GIVE HIM HIS SCIENTIST.

...I mean even tiny Cecil and Giant!Carlos is perfectly viable.

was just listening to wtnv episode 107 "the missing sky” when it seemed like cecil got cut off mid-sentence and suddenly the weather was playing. this threw me off a little bit, but the episode was messing around with strange radio happenings and surrealism so it wasn't that odd. then the weather ended and it felt like I missed something, so I went back to just before the weather and I didn't recognize what cecil was saying at all. went back another fifteen seconds, didn't recognize it. went back another fifteen, same thing. over and over, the same thing. I did eventually realize that I must have accidentally skipped like ten minutes forward some how but for a solid minute there I was convinced night vale had sent me to the shadow realm.

Welcome to Night Vale ramblings (up to ep 107)

I stopped listening to wtnv for a few months (because i allowed myself to be distracted, i would've been done by now X'D) and I'm just picking it back up again at about episode 97 i think, I'm now on 108

I just finished 107 and oh my god i am in a constant state of internal screaming

At first i thought the alternate universe was pre current Night Vale (could still be) but then Cecil started basically talking about the war of the mini people, and then made it very clear that this was the tiny people and so many things he previously said made so much more sense in context

And when i tell you I yelled "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK" in my head, i did do that XD

now, realistically it's not a super crazy revelation or anything, but i think these past several episodes are starting to get to me XD

Hopefully I'll be done with the rest of the episodes in a day or two, though i have work so maybe not X'D

I can't tell you how much i find this weird ass world so interesting

I'll be drawing some of the characters like i did with the Magnus Archives, with just what i think they look like

This podcast just scratches an itch specifically for when i listen to it

I can't imagine what would've happened if i found this when i was younger as well with everything else I'm into :P

I probably would've just listened to the Magnus Archives when it first came out XD

Anyways, after I'm done I'm sure my brain will find some way to make a crossover or au out of it XD

I just listen to episode 107 of Welcome to Night Vale. Oh my god the episodes of such a rollercoaster of emotions. I had like a mini panic attack when Cecil started actually like addressing what the weather is, instead of just playing the weather. Mini Cecil is still Cecil with a massive crash on Carlos.
