for like the past week solas has been in all of my dreams? like the dreams aren't ABOUT him he's just... there.

Like last night a Major Plot Point was i NEEDED to write something down but couldn't find anything to write with. magic elf shows up and hands me a bic. he disappears. i write down the steps to keeping your new cat from peeing on the floor. my neighbor is relieved. the day is saved.

my favorite though was a couple nights ago. i'm in my childhood home. i'm draped over the back of the couch, hugging it. "i miss this couch," i say.

"it's a nice couch," he agrees in a seinfeldesque cadence. he disappears.

Life/medical update: on the plus side, I don't need brain surgery! On the downside, we're back to the drawing board.

Saw neurovascular surgeon today who said that based on where my cavernoma is located it is not the source of my symptoms. BUT there was also a lesion that IS in a location where it kind of matches up with the sensory issues and neuropathy. Downside is that... we have no idea what the lesion is or what caused it. If it was something like MS, they'd expect to see more, but it is a possibility. Also it might not be the source of the issues because brains are super weird.

I follow up with other neurologist on March 12 for more testing and assessment. I will likely need more testing to see if there have been any changes over time.

In the meantime I'm going to work on training myself to write with my left hand. And if anyone knows a good egg-cracker device please let me know because I cannot crack eggs to save my life right now and I'm sick of fishing eggshell pieces out of things 🤣
