the way everyone has a dislike in their profile that actually says something integral about their character. lu guang doesn't like plans getting messed up, cheng xiaoshi dislikes loneliness, xia fei with owing favors, vein with lying...

and then you have liu xiao, who dislikes... cilantro. and fish mint.

So I spent most of my lunch today musing over what would be Viktor's love language (for reasons) because I think we can all agree Jayce's is clearly physical affection.

And the first thing I came up with was words of affirmation and realized the intersection between THAT and Jayce's huge praise kink means there is no way they did not fuck repeatedly throughout their seven years of being 'science partners'

saw a post that was like "it's wild how you don't know someone's going to be important to you when you meet them" and it's genuinely that exact sentiment that i have used to create my own torment nexus because whenever i meet someone new i so often find myself accidentally constructing a timeline in my head where we either get married, become brothers-in-arms, or fight to the death in no hold barred combat

thinking so much about folklore and evermore nowadays... especially how folklore deals with 'teenage' themes (at least the love triangle) and how easy it is to ask for forgiveness and forgive and just being honest about your feelings after allowing yourself to process it and having an upfront communication about everything including missing the childhood that you had/ the friends you were once close with and being open about it ... while evermore being the adult stories was just unresolved issues, love and infidelity (which is both a young and old age thing yet the way it is handled is so different- perhaps for the better because there is some accountable during the latter stage). and just keeping everything inside never telling anyone how you feel and somehow you're at the restaurant and on the run together (because healing is never linear and always messy). so in the end you have to strip yourself to the basics (your younger self and be a bit fearless and wild) to deal with emotions and life. everything comes out teenage petulance indeed.
